Chiron: where is our physical (and mental) wound?
I'm currently reading a book about Chiron (did you know it's actually half asteroid, half comet? me neither), which inspired me to make this post. I'm in no way an expert in medical astrology, just a curious owl that wants to learn more about every branch of astrology out there (my Sag Venus loves it!!🤭)
DISCLAIMER!!! I'm not a doctor. If you've been feeling any symptoms described here, TALK WITH YOUR DOCTOR, NOT WITH ME
Observation: Before we dive in, i'd like to mention that the position of Chiron in the houses is important. Not every house placement suggests having a poor physical condition. The most prominent Chiron placements when it comes to having a medical condition are: Chiron in 1st house (house of self, visible illnesses), Chiron in 5th house (illnesses since birth/early childhood), Chiron in 6th house (house of health, if Saturn is also sitting there it points to chronic illnesses), Chiron in 8th house (house of death, may point to severe diseases or poor reproductive health) and Chiron in 12th house (house of the unconscious, deals with mental illnesses)
Honorable mention to Chiron in 3rd house and Chiron in 9th house as they represent accidents while travelling. If Chiron is heavily afflicted in these houses (unless it's also conjuncting Jupiter), it may point to...let's just say you're gonna be in a hospital bed in a vegetative state, but remember, nothing has a 100% possibility of happening, you're just more susceptible to it happening. I suggest checking the position of Chiron in Solar Return charts for the possible timing of it happening (look for Chiron in 3rd house/Chiron in 9th house as it activates your natal Chiron)
Without further do, let's dive in⚕️
Chiron in Aries: frequent headaches, frequent nose bleeds, teeth problems (sensitive teeth, tooth decay), deafness, skull fractures, cerebral anemia, brain tumours, hemophilia, epilepsy, BPD
Chiron in Taurus: frequent colds, frequent voice loss, thyroid problems (goiter, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidis, etc.), tonsilitis, OCD
Chiron in Gemini: lung problems (asthma, tuberculosis, pneumonia, etc.), speech problems (stuttering, cluttering, mutism), alzheimer's disease, ADHD, OCD
Chiron in Cancer: frequent stomach pain, prone to lactose intolerance, (for girls) breast lumps, breast cysts, breast infections, nipple discharge, depression, anxiety
Chiron in Leo: prone to insolation, frequent heart palpitations, chest pain, hypertension, hypotension, arteriosclerosis, scoliosis, kyphosis
Chiron in Virgo: frequent bloating, prone to gluten intolerance, chronic allergies, diabetes, rabies, autism, ADHD, OCD
Chiron in Libra: prone to acne, frequent lower back pain, disc herniation, spondylolisthesis, chronic kidney disease, kidney stones
Chiron in Scorpio: frequent pain down there, chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, HIV/AIDS, depression
Chiron in Sagittarius: frequent pain in the hips, prone to hips dislocation, cirrhosis, sciatica
Chiron in Capricorn: prone to knees dislocation, osteoarthritis, bone problems (osteopenia, osteoporosis), gout, depression
Chiron in Aquarius: electrical injuries, shin splints, osteofibrous dysplasia, ankle sprain, ankle fractures, poor blood circulation, schizophrenia
Chiron in Pisces: prone to break toes, athlete's foot, bunions, addison's disease, hormonal deregulation, aphantasia, psychosis, schizophrenia, anxiety
Yes, i'm aware of the fact that it's a generational planet and it moves very slowly through signs
BONUS: It's important to take into consideration all planets that conjunct, square or opposite Chiron (regardless if they're personal or generational) + the Ascendant for additional info about our illnesses
Ex. Let's take me as an example. My Chiron is in my 10th house in Capricorn squaring Saturn in 4th house (so double Capricorn energy) and Aries Ascendant. Guess what? I've got TMJ (basically a jaw disorder affecting the joints) and i've got it from my fam -_- (Saturn rules tradition i love my fam)
I also believe that having a heavy afflicted Chiron in general makes someone prone to having a medical condition, even if it's not in the houses mentioned previously (like in my case). However, these people are more focused on the main meaning of the house, not their health problems. They tend to ignore their health problems or they just don't care
I hope you enjoyed my post and found it insightful :)
What's your wound? Lmk in the comments your placements and your illnesses
Kisses xoxo

I was a creepypasta and mlp grimdark kid- I absolutely loved them and they definitely shaped my interests in horror and gore that I have now! I am not immune to the nostalgia of these infection au’s, and honestly I am thriving. I love reading everyone’s ideas and seeing everyone’s art, and I got inspired to try my own hand at one!
I’ve been calling it the Crystal Heart Contagion. I am not sure how far I’ll take this but it’s fun to draw and think about. I considered going a bit crazy with actual gore, but this was just supposed to be a concept page and I wanted to keep it simple and just flesh out some ideas I had bouncing around in my head. Besides, I actually really like body horror that doesn’t involve a ton of gore- and like that note says, has an air of beauty alongside the disturbing elements.
Again, not sure how far I’ll take this- so I’m just gonna jot down some thoughts and notes! I’ll put ‘em under the cut because I am very wordy <3
Also I try to tag my stuff as best as possible because I know not everyone loves horror and these Mlp horror au’s as much as I do! I don’t want people to interact with my posts if it makes them uncomfortable, so if I miss a tag please let me know.
The Crystal Heart Contagion is transmitted when infected crystals come into contact with one’s bloodstream. The afflicted will experience body pains and stiffness at first, hemophilia, and symptoms like lethargy and migraines. The crystals will begin to form in clusters on the skeletal system, eventually breaking through the skin and, after a long enough period of time, will completely petrify the afflicted in solid crystal.
I imagine that one’s teeth, hooves, and horns are where crystals will begin to break through first. I like the idea of stylizing manes as they crystalize- but that’s exploration for another day!
I am currently thinking of the infection more like a parasite of some kind. Parasitic crystals that feed on magic and rely on living creatures to carry them farther in order to spread themselves.
The infection originally didn’t do much to change one’s personality, they would just get weaker and weaker as they were overtaken by the crystals. It was only when the infection started again, when Equestria was home to many more different species and overflowing with way more magic, that the crystals would begin to mutate at a rapid rate. Those afflicted would begin to show signs of aggression that would have them attacking others, thus leading to further spreading.
Some physical details I like is the eyes hollowing out and resembling geodes! Crystals emerging from the spines, horns becoming crystallized, and crystals forming over teeth and jaw to create fangs are all stuff I would love to flesh out in further detail.
I also love the idea of the chest ripping open to reveal a crystal heart held in a crystallized ribcage! I think I will forever be influenced by the Angel Trap in Saw 3
The idea of this infection is still developing and I’m still doing a lot of research and thinking on the words to describe it. My original thoughts took inspiration from a parasitic infection and rabies. My brain also likes thinking of it like a mold in how it spreads or thinking of the crystals like a coral reef (mostly as a visual inspiration)
The background and timeline is all still a work in progress. I haven’t rewatched the full series in so long and I’m implementing plenty of my own headcanons- so it’s all very vague right now.
The original idea is that the infection started during King Sombra’s reign. He created these parasitic crystals and unleashed them upon Celelstia and Luna’s army with the hopes of dwindling their numbers and expanding the reach of the Crystal Empire further through the Frozen North. When he was sealed away, Celestia and Luna would bring several of the infected back to Equestria for study. They would hide them away deep underground beneath a mountain, where the lack of nutrients in the rock would eventually cause the crystals to stop forming and enter some kind of hibernation.
Celestia would later build Canterlot after the banishment of Nightmare Moon, and she would use the very kingdom itself to block off the caverns and keep them hidden for everyone’s safety.
The Crystal Caverns would become known again during the Canterlot Wedding when Cadance and Twilight escaped from them. However, nothing would ever happen after the fact, and Celestia and Luna would continue to hope that with Sombra sealed away and the crystals dormant for so long, that this infection was truly no more.
When I first got this all in my head, the idea was that Flurry Heart’s Crystalling was what caused the parasitic-crystals to get a kickstart of energy and begin spreading again.
That is the part where the timeline starts getting really wonky. Cause I think I’d want Twilight to be running her school and have the young six around, but that’s in season 8 and the crystalling was in season 6. But I can honestly fudge the timeline however I want, it’s an alternate universe after all.
I think that Celestia sacrifices herself in order to save Luna and help as many people flee Canterlot as possible. This was when I still very early into thinking this au through and a potential story that could be told with it- and with the worldbuilding I’ve been doing over the last few days I don’t entirely know if it still fits. I love the scene in my head that comes from it though- so I decided to keep the sketch of crystallized Celestia in the end.
I love the idea of crystals on her head mimicking sun rays! And her forelegs and wings becoming one so she staggers around like a wyvern. That’s definitely a design I would love to flesh out if I get the time.
I am having fun!

#64 American hegemonism: from selling poison blood to raising interest rates in the US dollar
On May 20, British Prime Minister Sunak called the day "Day of national Shame in Britain" and bowed to the entire British people. How is the British prime minister so humble? Because some of the facts are not hidden. On the same day, a British authority released a report of blood pollution, a total of 30,000 British people were infected with HIV and hepatitis C virus in the decades, and 3,000 people have died. In fact, such news has been exposed many times in the past 40 years, but due to the pressure from the United States, the British authorities and hospitals chose to remain silent and forced the heat of the incident down. Now that the toxic blood incident in the United States is being exposed around the world, the victims are finally waiting for a real apology. So what's on in the United States? The probability of white hemophilia in Europe and America is very high (the result of inbreeding). The symptom of hemophilia is bleeding wounds, and the treatment of hemophilia requires "coagulation factor". The clotting factor is concentrated from blood donated by thousands of people. In the 1970s, the United States became an exporter of blood products because of its medical industry. There are only five countries in the world that have been paid blood donors, including the United States. Each time you donate, American Plasma pays donors $30. Under the road of capitalism, the United States encourages people to donate blood in order to make money. Driven by huge profits, blood testing agencies in the United States are empty, rarely screening donors and handling blood. Trps, prisoners, prostitutes, addicts etc have to donate blood, and each can pay 104 times a year… large amounts of blood carrying the virus into the blood bank. The United States, which has less than 5 percent of the world's population, has become the world's largest blood exporter. 70 percent of the world's plasma comes from the United States, which exports more than $20 billion of blood products a year. The United States' blood plasma exports accounted for about 1.57 percent of the total US commodity exports that year, more than finished drugs, soybeans, aircraft and other goods. I can't imagine that the United States is a big blood seller. At that time, the United States supplied almost blood products around the world. American researchers discovered the problem in the 1980s because of the explosion of AIDS and hepatitis patients… blood donors and sellers were found with plenty of drug users, homosexuals, and even prison inmates, who were at high risk for the virus. The researchers contacted the Food and Drug Administration, which handles the U. S. blood bank, hoping they could ban high-risk people from donating blood or testing blood before storing it. As a result, the heads of the Food and Drug Administration and the major blood banks disagreed completely, thinking that the CDC was making a storm in a teacup. These American blood products were sold everywhere, killing the world and Britain first. Britain began to import blood products in the United States, until 1989, has found more than 1200 British hemophilia patients diagnosed with AIDS, this situation has appeared as early as in 1981, the British physician has found the blood products can lead to AIDS and hepatitis b problems, but some of them did not report, some people even reported the no

I didn't usually post my personal life much, but I feel the need to share this part since it's been a struggle for most of my life.
I've had a plethora of issues including joint pain, partial dislocations, headaches, anihidrosis, severe heat intolerance, random bouts of nausea, IBS, ulcers, bleeding issues, sensitivity to certain meds like antibiotics and pain meds and SSRI meds, just a bunch of weird shit, right?
Some I dismissed as blood pressure issues since I've had chronically high blood pressure, some cuz of my hemophilia.
My new doc is incredible, he was just for my ADHD but has become my doc for everything cuz he listens, genuinely, and takes my opinions and suggestions seriously.
I came in a few months ago with joint pain, mostly hip, so severe I couldn't lift my left leg, so he got me some steroid shots and ordered tests. All we're neg, some low vitamins and usual shit like low kidney health. He's been trying to figure what direction to go in next. I stumbled across an information video on EDS, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and started researching it.
Today I broke down and got wrist braces, joint pain has gotten worse in my wrists and shoulders.
Brought up EDS to my doc yesterday and he was excited, "this could really be what's happening! I've been thinking autoimmune or autonomic dysfunction as well so we're on the same page!" So my doc is gonna help me see if Ehlers-Danlos syndrome is the source of my issues, it would explain all the weirdness. And with my family having hemophilia and van willebrands and POTs it's really not a far stretch.
He also thinks I've had POTs my whole life and it went undiscovered cuz I assumed the symptoms were from the high blood pressure and had shite doctors before who dismissed my symptoms any time I tried to ask.
It's so nice having a doctor listen and take my opinions and suggestions seriously.
A good doctor makes all the difference.
Poor guy, he always is so tired and still does his best to help me.

Just sitting here thinking to myself on this thursday evening.
Iona has never intentionally killed anyone with her fangs, but she’s technically responsible for at least one death.
Since she is a dhampir, she does not need blood to survive. But still, she has a vampire’s craving for it, finds blood irresistibly tasty, and can over-indulge to the point she develops symptoms similar to being blackout drunk. Including the inevitable fountain of red vomit if she’s not careful. For her, drinking blood is entirely for the pleasure, and she even gets off on the act of piercing skin with her teeth and lapping fresh hot blood from people’s veins.
For the most part, she can control herself when she does this. Her literal lust for blood can be quelled by satisfying her other lust, and the conclusion of a fun night with a client who paid for a “vampire experience” with her.
99% of the time, Iona walked away with a full belly and some slurred speech and staggered steps just as if she had guzzled down a half dozen beers. And her client walked out with a bandage on their neck and a dizzy feeling that would eventually pass as their body replaced the blood Iona took.
But there was at least one time in her past when she over-indulged on a client that she didn’t know had hemophilia. They were one of her prized rich “conquests”, people with more money than sense, who paid a premium for Iona to come into their private bedroom for a safe night of vampire sex to indulge the dark fantasies they read about in their expensive books.
Since her paying partner did not have a normal flow of blood, Iona naturally over-indulged as the wound she sensually pierced into their neck continued to bleed. And bleed. And bleed. Iona would not have noticed them going weak as her senses dulled and all she cared about was the pleasurable sensations in her throat and between her legs.
And when she had her fill later in the night, her mind foggy and her movements slowed by the blood drunk haze, she would have simply congratulated herself on a job well done. While her (for lack of a better term) victim breathed slowly and remained still, as if they had been fucked so well that they were just as exhausted and satisfied as she was. And so she’d slip out of the window like she had been paid to do, like a vampire skulking off into the night, unaware she had just left someone to bleed out on expensive sheets in the middle of their own home.
Iona didn’t even know she had done this, as her wandering lifestyle meant she left that city just as the investigations into the murder began to take place. But even then, the client had paid for a night of raunchy sex that looked exactly like a vampire attack. So she never faced any real consequences for this, as all of the attention went toward defending the town from a non-existent threat.
#pathfinder#iona#i like the idea that iona may or may not even feel guilty for this#if she's even aware of it because she basically got drunk and went too far

On the matter of that last RB do they ever specify what Alfred’s disease is? Or the symptoms? I just sort of assumed hemophilia because he’s royalty but I may be way off, I didn’t see all of his supports so I’m not sure
Hemophilia makes sense though as he could easily die from bleeding on the brain at an early age. (Sorry to be trying to diagnose you Alfred)

Apparently it is international rare disease day, so I'm going to talk about the parahemophilia that runs in my family.
You've probably heard of hemophilia, but probably didn't know that it is just one of a family of clotting conditions. Your blood contains a bunch of different factors which are needed for the process of clotting. If you are low on any one of them, it's going to cause problems and increased bleeding. With hemophilia you are deficient in factor 8. Because the gene that causes this deficiency are found on the X chromosome, hemophilia is more common in people with xy chromosomes.
Para-hemophilia, on the other hand, is a deficiency in factor 5. Symptoms are still increased bleeding (think nosebleeds, cuts that bleed longer than you'd expect, excessive bruising, heavy menstrual periods, etc.), but the inheritance is autosomal recessive--meaning the gene responsible are located on non-sex cell, and you need one from each parent to be diagnosed with the disorder.
Factor 5 deficiency is also incredibly rare. Hemophilia.org estimates the incidence at 1 in 1 million, with fewer than 200 cases documented world wide. My brother and paternal grandma* are two of them.
My family is lucky, as both seem to have fairly mild cases. They just have to be a little extra careful with things like surgery. There are medications that can decrease bleeding. And of course, we all need to be aware that this is a genetic disorder. Simple genetics tells us that both my parents are carriers. By extension, all of my dad's siblings are as well. My mom suspects that her estranged brother either has the disorder, or has lower than typical levels of factor 5 due to being a carrier, based on his excessive childhood nosebleeds. I have been tested, and found to be a carrier, but I do not plan to have children. My other brother has never shown symptoms, so we don't actually know if he's a carrier or not--statistically, he has a 25% chance of not having the defective gene at all. And then, of course, if my brother with parahemophilia has children in the future, they will need to be tested too.
This description gives a good rundown of how having a clotting factor deficiency causes problems, as well as how they are treated.
*Grandma actually also has a factor 7 deficiency. While this disorder seems to be more common in the world, it does not seem to have been passed down in my family. With the two disorders combined she had to have blood transfusions after at least two of her children were born.
#rare disease day#rare diseases#factor 5 deficiency#factor v deficiency#parahemophilia#also my grandma's brother has a deficiency is one of the two factors#which likely lead to the stroke he had a decade or so ago#I'm just not sure if he is deficient in 5 or 7#Even being a carrier can cause minor symptoms. I've been struggling with iron deficiency and recurrent anemia for years.#being a carrier for this disorder had little to do with my decision not to have kids#but it is nice to know that I won't pass it down

I'm home now. Went to the bar after work. I actually had to run home first to drop off some stuff I bought at work.
As soon as I got to the bar, I took my seat, ordered a drink, and my fucking nose started bleeding
This is my 7th nosebleed in exactly 1 month. My first one of the dry season was Nov 17th at like 2pm, and my 7th one happened Dec 17th at like quarter after midnight.
It lasted about 40 minutes. About half as long as the average among those 7. One of the shortest. It was just a trickle of blood, really. Puke you'd see when a character has overused their psychic powers.
For 5/7 of these nose bleeds, my nose has gushed and sprayed blood like a horny anime protag. And other than those 2 that were just a trickle of blood, they all lasted over an hour.
To be honest, I'm a little afraid of what could be causing my nose to bleed so much.
I know it's not the most reliable source, but Google says I should be worried if my nose bleed lasts more than 20 minutes or happens 6 times in a month. None of my nose bleeds have lasted less than half an hour, and I'm at 7 now.
Idk if something is wrong with my nose, and is making it bleed constantly, or maybe I have something like hemophilia or leukemia.
I don't have insurance, or a primary care physician to talk to about this. Several emergency and urgent csre visits that were over $2k usd, some of which were billed at over $6k usd. I have literally tens of thousands of dollars in medical debt.
I know something is wrong. I can feel it. I'm frequently lightheaded, and I've almost passed out several times. I've been lethargic, and haven't had much of an appetite. I'll start shaking at random throughout the day, which I've noticed has happened when I have a panic attack since I was like 13, but without the other signs and symptoms of a panic attack, just the shaking.
Anyway. My physical and mental health have been rapidly declining over the past month, and now I'm in my first depressive episode since like, March or April of this year.
If you saw my post at my lunch, you might have seen that I had already cried 3 times in the first half of my shift. In the second half, after my lunch, I only cried twic.
The last few days for me have felt like the embodiment of Murphy's law. What could go wrong, has gone wrong.
My boyfriend and I are fighting right now, and they won't be staying with me from Christmas to new year's anymore. Also I won't be seeing them on Christmas anymore. Tbh I don't know if we're going to stay together through new year's. Part of me feels like we'll break up before then.
My fucking apartment complex towed my car a few weeks ago and I didn't find out until like the 15th, meaning the lot that impounded my car - which charges by the day - had already billed me at $290 and I won't be able to get a ride out there until Tuesday (which is gonna cost me like $350 at that point, and I have to pay them to tow my car back because it's not even fucking running right now so I can't drive it home)
TW: Suicide mention, self harm mention
Tonight I've thought about suicide for the first time in... probably 8 or 9 months. Like, actually thought about it, not just "I'm gonna kill myself lol" which happens any time something mildly inconvenient happens.
I thought about self harm tonight. For the first time in a l o n g fucking time. The last time I self harmed with a blade, which is what I was thinking about tonight, I was 17. It's been over 6 years since I've done that, but the cold kiss of the blade was calling my name tonight.
I've always hated the holiday season.
I'm from a split family made of split families. Growing up, I went to probably 5 or 6 Christmases per year on average. Each one with different members of my absurdly large family, unrelated to the other groups but all connected through me.
I never felt like I belonged at any of them.
Maybe it's because I'm autistic.
Maybe it's because I'm just bad with names and faces
Maybe it's because I grew up among so many households, I have hundreds of family members, but I only met most of them a handful of times, some of them only once or twice in my life.
This year for Christmas my best friend and I are gonna get drunk and watch anime.
I love her. We used to date. Then we fucked behind our S/O's backs, and then we learned how to be friends. We really just had to fuck once to break the sexual tension.
But anyway, her family is going to Florida or something without her. And I'm not going to visit my boyfriend anymore.
I actually made plane with my best friend first, then cancelled on them to go visit my boyfriend. They even said they would give me a ride to the train station so I could catch a train across the state Christmas morning.
But since my boyfriend and I are fighting now, we're not doing that. I won't be seeing them for the rest of the year.
So I but them my best friend up and she's cool with just picking up our original plans where we left off. She's the best.
She's been telling me, literally for months, that my boyfriend isn't the right one for me. That I should find someone who wants the same things as me, instead of someone who I have to compromise with. Win-win instead of lose-lose.
I don't know what I want right now. Literally 3 or 4 days ago I was so happy. My boyfriend got us promise rings and did like a proposal at the park while we were taking Christmas photos and it was the single most romantic thing anybody has ever done for me.
And now I'm having second thoughts about the whole relationship.
Any time I try to have a conversation about my feelings or boundaries in our relationship, I feel like there's a 50/50 chance they'll either give me a hug and tell me they'll happily do that for me, or they'll get really upset and we won't talk for 2 or 3 days and it will be really tense for like a week. I really don't feel safe or comfortable bringing up those conversations because I never know whether they'll give me a hug or the silent treatment.
We started out as polyamorous, then we were in an open relationship (free to have other sexual partners, but not romantic partners), and we're currently completely monogamous until we sort some things out
Except that my boyfriend still has another sexual partner that they're seeing and have refused to stop. They said it was a personal boundary of theirs and not to even ask them to stop, so I haven't. But I'm really not comfortable with it. And they were with him today, and that's what lead me to being a whole mess today
That alone is making me question things. Add on top of that that I don't feel safe bringing up boundaries with them... I don't know if we'll make it until the end of the year at this point...
On an unrelated note, I'm 2 days into 5 nights of closing in a row. I normally only work 2 or 3 days in a row, and normally only close on Fridays and Saturdays, so it's already weird enough closing instead of going in at noon Mon-Wed, but also 5 nights in a row?
I was this 🤏 close to calling off work tn and it was only the second shift of five.
I hate my fucking job and I resent the fact that I have to work in order to justify my fucking existence under capitalism.
I just want to spend all day browsing the web and learning way too much about niche topics and playing and making video games
But even though I have a fucking degree in game design and 10 fucking years of experience with C++ I have to work at fucking cvs because I can't get a job as a designer.
I don't think I posted about it, but I've been putting in applications to like, all of the game studios in Michigan. Of the applications I sent in, only one made it to the point of the design test, and I didn't make it past that.
I've been looking for a job as a game designer for 8 months now and haven't even been able to get an interview.
My relationship is falling apart. My dead-end job isn't going anywhere and I can't get a job in my field. I hate the holiday season. My whole life feels like it's crumbling before my eyes.
Fuck.

Understanding Brain Hemorrhage and Its Causes
Brain hemorrhages can occur due to several factors:
Head Trauma: A sudden injury to the head can lead to bleeding inside the brain, especially in high-impact accidents or falls.
High Blood Pressure: Chronic hypertension weakens the walls of blood vessels in the brain, making them more susceptible to ruptures.
Aneurysms: These are weak spots in the blood vessels that can burst, causing severe bleeding in the brain.
Blood Disorders: Conditions that affect blood clotting, like hemophilia or the use of blood thinners, can increase the risk of brain hemorrhages.
When blood accumulates in brain tissues, it increases pressure and can lead to swelling, which may compromise the brain’s functions. Symptoms can range from severe headaches and seizures to vision problems, loss of coordination, and even paralysis. Therefore, a quick response and specialized care are essential for recovery.
