I can't get over everything around the endgame scenes with Karlach and Astarion (and I mean the "good" endings!), I am literally still processing it days later 😭

Plus Gale being a professor, free of the orb?? Shadowheart being at peace, finding herself and able to adopt the Owlbear?? Her visiting Gale and Tara for tea??? Making her own cider and wanting to do a reunion party every year??? Being invited to lecture Gale's students and bring Astarion too and also stay and chat in his tower??? Halsin gets to be a dad like he's always wanted with all the orphans??? Karlach has hope for a new engine and may return home and might be more than friends with Wyll??? Lae'zel raging her dream, riding red dragons and learning to be more diplomatic? Jaheira being Jaheria and Minsc visiting Astarion much to his dismay (and somehow when he's not with my Tav in the Underdark or looking for a cure lol)?? Just... everyone living their best lives??? All of the hugs!???? My heart is so full the more I think about it but I also want to see it in the game and not my head 😭

Only issue is who gets Scratch??? Where has he been the past 6 months and where is he staying afterwards?? Did I miss this detail??

Basically that epilogue is so so wholesome and hopeful. Got me feeling like this once again

Actually now that you mention it, psimon does strike me as a night owl kinda guy. Like onslaught finds him sitting in the kitchen, thinking into nothing, maybe a spoon rising nearby when shit gets too intense

OH FR I think Psimon would prefer the night. <3 There's the fact that its easier to hide in the dark, its calm and quiet, he gets some reprieve from everyone who'd annoy him throughout the day, etc etc

It's easier to work through things at night when the rest of Onslaught is fast asleep...it is also easier to just spiral alone at night.

I reckon the rest of Onslaught has learned what it looks like when Psimon's grip on his abilities begins to slip, even though he scarcely lets it. Small glass objects cracking or shattering spontaneously, lightbulbs blowing out or shattering in socket, random objects levitating, so on. If he notices he usually snaps out of it, even finds it a little embarrassing that he'd forget himself like that and will chastise himself about it, but its so easy to do, so each member of Onslaught caught onto what's happening relatively quickly.

He doesn't let it get real bad, it'd have to be a matter of his mind/powers being supernaturally sabotaged or something for it to pose a real unintentional danger to him or the team. That'd be a worse case scenario for him.

Nonetheless, they've seen him very briefly let his emotions get the better of him or seen him get startled, and have seen his psionic powers fire off in small ways as a result.

When someone gets up late a night for some water and they see Psimon sitting at the table, silently staring into the middle distance in the dark...he could very well just be relaxing and enjoying the silence...but they turn on the faucet and notice the stream of water bends unnaturally, notice a dish idly floating out of the sink, and they gather that he's lost in thought or feeling.

Sometimes he needs to be left alone, sometimes he needs to be grounded back into reality, sometimes he can be convinced to talk it out, sometimes he enjoys knowing he's not so alone. It really depends on what's going on; but left to his own devices, he defaults to trying to handle it himself, if he even acknowledges the problem.

Having actual comrades in these times when he needs them has been monumental for him, and he knows it. He hopes he can express his gratitude through his actions enough <3

I thought about what each of the boys humors woukd be like so heres this lil ramble

Personally i think Edd has a mix of tumblr and newgrounds kind of humor, occassionally a bit dark but its mostly just corny dad joke shit with the puns n all. Also contains dumb childish shit like screaming and loud noises (e.g. sir pelo, smiling friends, etc.) I feel like Edd grew up watching Adult Swim and it severely influenced him to laugh at the most random obnoxious shit and well thought out witty timely jokes (no inbetween). He also likes asdf humor, because he just does.

Tord is just full on edgy and toxic, like if you mix 4chan, reddit, and newgrounds kind of humor. Its like being a noob in a cod match with him would unleash all his pent up anger and hed hurl slurs and insults at you with a bass boosted mic. Although he doesnt actually mean the shit he says and that its 100% sarcastic and entirely meant to piss you off. Probably has a very liberal mindset and well aware of peoples sensitivity but simply just doesnt care enough, or maybe the exact opposite, both are equally plausible and funny to me

Matt likes very corny shit, i think hed have a millenial-like humor relatively close to Edd's. I also think Matt would unironically like brain rot because it makes him feel young and very 'hip with the kids' cuz he keeps up with the times. He knows that its cringy but he likes it and doesnt care about beinf called cringy. I also think smthn about Matt has that kpop stan twt humor kinda shit going on?? Like he seems like the type to go "onika = burgers 🎀" just to call someone fat as a mean joke

Tom would also be a bit edgy like Tord but hed be hurling the insults to himself as a way to cope and make himself laugh when its just corncerning to everyone else lmao. So mostly just has twitter humor which is just a blend of most of these i guess just very depressing. Also Tom would deffo like brain rot ironically, he knows Matt likes it genuinely so he doesnt go outright to make fun of him. I also think he ironically finds facebook memes funny and would send them in their gc only to be ghosted cuz the rest of them cant tell if he genuinely likes them or out of sarcasm
