I’ve been in creative dry spell when it comes to Golden Goose and starving to see more of it, so I was wondering if you had any new ideas regarding the pairing. I really hope I don’t sound demanding in this ask, I just thought I’d see if you had any ideas you felt like sharing.

So, with all the stuff we've been taking about recently and that recent community post, I think I finally have enough to say to actually answer this.

Not all of this will be strictly Golden Goose, but most of it will be.

Early into his friendship with Stella, when Mammon first started having deeper feelings for her, he was extremely anxious because he wasn't sure if how deep they were, whether they were just a brief sensation or something more. What helped him embrace these feelings is spending more time around Stella, but also those around her, Camio, Furfur and Octavia especially.

Meanwhile, Stella is also hesitant because she knows that rebounds are a thing and Andre's drilling into her that she has no real experience with forming a romantic relationship.

They're both cutely awkward in this phase and I think there's a lot of potential for some lighter minor conflicts here, including Octavia's fear of clowns.

I think that once they were all in the Greed ring, Via started being a bit more outgoing at social events and actually started making some friends, despite what you might expect, Mam wasn't overprotective of her at this time, mainly because by then he knew her well enough to know she could handle herself. Despite this, Stella often stresses to her that she can openly tell them about any problems and Via takes it as a forgone conclusion that her mother knows how to pick up some subtle things she herself might miss.

Another idea I've been pondering is something happening to Fizz and Mammon dropping his teasing to support Ozzie, and Ozzie himself is taken aback by it. But despite the open dislike that Ozzie has for him, Mam still sees him as his little brother and knows when Asmodeus needs him.

Furfur: Okay, alright let’s hear about the kiss. Was it a soft brush against your lips or was it like a, you know, “I have you now” kind of thing.

Stella: Well, at first it was really intense, you know? And then, oh fuck, and then we just sort of sunk into it.

Camio: Ohh… So, okay, was he holding you? Or was his hands on your back?

Stella: (Smiles fondly) First they were on my waist and then they slid up and then they were in my feathers.

Camio & Furfur: Ohhh.

Opinion on why the Goetia from Helluva Boss are seemingly all birds

Just sharing a bit of a random thought/observation on why the Goetia from Helluva Boss are seemingly all birds. It’s kind of a no brainer but it’s seems to be never brought up if at all from what I’ve apparently seen whenever a new Goetia is introduced and criticized for being a bird.

In the version of Hell as depicted in Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss, it’s populated by all sorts of demons of varying wild designs which is one of it’s main appeals. However, there’s a bit of an immediate obvious issue that can be easily caught on as a consequence of this. It could be hard for viewers to tell whether a demon is a sinner or a natural born native of Hell, whether they belong to a certain class, whether they belong to a certain race, and such unless they are outright told. Fortunately, this was solved very early by doing something really obvious and simple that other works with all sorts of races also just do. Make all members of a particular demon race/class have immediate identifiable similarities. At the very least, this has been done with the Hellborn species.

This approach that is clearly being done is something that as stated before been done with works with all widely different races and is not only practically subconscious but also very convenient for whatever audience that’s consuming such works. Take Star Wars for example. Although it may have a myriad of different looking aliens, no one is going to be confused whether a certain character is of the same species as Jabba, Chewbacca, or some other alien species because of extremely identifiable general markers shared by members of the same species. While individuals may differ in some areas from one another, viewers will not be confused as whether or not a particular character belongs to a particular alien race because it’s immediately shown moreso than it’s being told due to all Hutts being giant alien slugs, all Wookies being giant alien sloths, and so on.

This is thus something that has been implemented with the designs for the Imps, Hellhounds, Goetias, Succubi, and the other Hellborn races that were first seen in “OZZIE’s”. It’s a really simple solution and it could be said to be detrimental if wasn’t being implemented.

Imagine if you will if this was not implemented for the Goetia which are the main topic. In a setting where more human looking demons like Charlie, Vaggie, Alastor, Lucifer, Lilith, and Loopty Goopty exist, how is a viewer going to tell right away without being told if demons such as Agares, Eligos, Ronové, and Furcas, if they were to be included, are supposed to be the same class as Stolas if they were depicted 100% accurately instead of as birds. This issue becomes even more confusing if less human looking demons such as a Purson, Orobas, Marchosias, Buer, and Furfur are also included and depicted 100% accurately. It kind of invites frustration for viewers unfamiliar with the original Ars Goetia if the Goetia in Helluva Boss are just this collection of random looking demons as they are originally depicted as it sort of forces the viewers to look up Wikipedia and such to know whether or not a particular character is actually a Goetia rather than inspire the viewers to look more on who these characters are based on. This becomes even more frustrating if completely original Goetia are also included since for example, an original Goetia that’s based on Vapula could be confused for a sinner like Husk.

Basically, if the Goetia were all completely random looking as they are in the original Ars Goetia then people will be confused especially in a setting where chaotic randomness seems to be a general design rule for Sinners.

Thus as a bit of a necessary evil and artistic liberty, the Goetia are depicted as all being birds per Stolas and his family being birds as an apparent rule. It’s not biblical accurate but considering it was established that Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss are a completely different spin on Hell way early on, it’s understandable and something that just has to be accepted sooner or later.

If anything, at the very least the Goetia that have been depicted as birds so far all have bird parts in their original depictions to justify them in some small part being birds.

For example, the iconic picture of Paimon by Louis Le Breton in the Dictionnaire Infernal that’s commonly used has bird feet. They’re not explicitly described as far as I can tell but those are clearly bird feet just like that’s clearly a tail coming from Paimon’s behind in Louis’ depiction. They may not be owl feet or whatever Paimon in Helluva Boss wants to be due to being a shapeshifter and all but they provide some basis for why Paimon is a bird.

Not me doing a bit of study on demonology and finding out about Furfur and wanting to make a helluva boss OC based on him,,,

I've always wanted Fiadg to have some bee motifs because of their importance to Irish far lore, but until the recent Helluva Boss episode couldn't figure out how to do it. But using Beelzebub as a base for how you can mix bee and animal designs I was able to do it.

I've also been workshopping her character and backstory

Just me rambling about my Oc under the cut (So, If you don't like ocXcanon you don't have to read it)

Fiadh, or Fianait Shields was a Cambion (half-demon, Half-human) who was born and raised in Ireland. She belonged to a very secluded community that worshipped Fae, their main god being this Horned God. Spoiler, the Horned god is the Demon Furfur.

Fianait's mother and Furfur ended up spending a night together before her mother's wedding to another man. Because she looks so much like her mom, no one realized the man raising her wasn't her biological father.

Her mother ends up passing while she was very young, and her father didn't have time for her, especially during the summer when she was out of school. So she's sent to live with her Uncle in New Orleans while she's on break.

This is where she meets a young Alastor. They end up becoming very close friends.

They grow up together during the summers until Fianait's about 15, when she has a bunch of stuff for their religion she has to complete. This includes having to meet her arranged betrothed. Who is... A questionable choice in personality. Fianait was already pretty shy and quiet, being more of a wallflower than anything else, and her arranged marriage partner is... Abusive at best. He causes her to become even quieter and retreat even further into her shell, almost to the point of being mute.

She finds a minor escape by becoming an Army Nurse during the Great War (WW1), which delays her wedding. This is where she meets Alastor again, whose been drafted. Alastor had been shot in the leg, and it takes them a second to realize this person who just seems familiar is their childhood friend.

When Alastor sees she's gotten even more weary of the world and hears about her situation, he offers to marry her and take her back to America. He does this A) because he is genuinely worried about his friend, and B) He's always been a bit possessive (Can be seen as Platonic or Romantic) of Fianait.

The plan, (or so Alastor says) is for Fianait to marry him and live with him until she can get her citizenship and a job. Build a stable life for herself, then they can divorce and she doesn't have to worry about her family dragging her back to Ireland for her arranged marriage.

They spend the first few years pretty happy in their arrangement. They cook and eat together. Fianait helps the upkeep of Alastor's house, even after she gets a detective job for the police. And Alastor becomes a popular radio host... And a Serial killer.

Fianait's ex-fiance had tried to harass the couple into divorcing and sending her back, but after he went a little too far Alastor killed him. Between that, the war, and members of Fianait's family, who had also begun harassing him, he developed a taste for murder. And he keeps it fairly well hidden for a while.

But Fianait catches him... Mid kill, covered in blood. Alastor is frozen caught between killing her or figuring out some other way to keep his secrets. And Fianait... Just stares at the situation. As an officer, she should arrest him, or report him. But she loves him, and he saved her. And her loyalty to him outways her responsibility to her job. She helps him get rid of the evidence and ignores his crimes from then on.

This carries on more or less, for years until Alastor's death. Which was a complete accident. Alastor was killed by a confused hunter who mistook him for a deer. And Fianait losses her mind. Over time Alastor had made sure she was dependent on him, so she doesn't know how to function without him as her rock.

She continues his killings and pins them on his killer as an act of revenge. She then takes her own life using a mix of shrooms and opioids.

When she ends up in hell she meets her biological father, Furfur, but she has trouble connecting with him, despite his adoration of her. With most sinners going by a different name she lost hope that she'd ever find Alastor again.

This is when Bee shows up. Her energetic personality reminds Fiadh of her lost husband. So she latches onto Beezelbub as a lifeline. Bee realizes that Fiadh needs someone to lean on and becomes almost a mother to her. Encouraging her to enjoy herself in hell.

Fiadh comes out of her shell the tiniest bit, eventually singing in front of people at Bee's parties (mostly older songs or postmodern jukebox-type covers). When she's on stage she imitates her husband's old attitude, knowing his personality drew people to enjoy his performances. It's her way of keeping his memory alive in her.

She and Alastor meet again by accident in Cannibal Colony. Fiadh had been booked at Mimzy's club as an act. Alastor had been in the area and wanted to check on his friend and recognized his childhood friend-turned-wife's voice immediately. He meets her backstage and makes tiny comments about New Orleans or the 1920s to double-check she is who he thinks she is, and when this proves true... He calls her by a nickname only he used to call her.

The pair are very happy to be reunited and largely go back to how they interacted before Alastor's death. Fiadh splits her time between the ring of Gluttony, her father's place to learn her birthright, and Alastor's homes. For the first time in her existence, she's surrounded by so much love she can truly enjoy herself. She loves the life she made for herself.

My creepypasta AU! I really wanted to make my own creepypasta world where i can come up with ideas for the characters as to designing and coming up with their personalities and other stuff!

But before I describe my AU/world here are a few things I want to mention first

1. Some of these ideas are inspired by vivziepop, snuffbomb(I do not support what he did in the past, I just like the characters from the comic Creeps), and pastamonsters

2. There are ships that I will include with my OCs but it DOESN'T mean that I'm one of those fangirls that are like "BEnY iS mInE aNd nO oNe eLsE CaN hAvE him!!" and go after other fans! I respect if you ship yourself or your own characters with the same pasta that I like or if you like someone else! Also I might post some headcanons later on that will be based off of my AU and also I might do those Y/N x *insert your creepypasta love interest here* later on as well! So if you like this and wanna ask something or request something later on you can!

3. You don't have to completely like or agree with every single thing I write or make in my AU! This is just for my entertainment and for others!

4. This is includes demonology so I have like princes/kings/Dukes etc of hell so yes that does mean I include stolas but it is not the same stolas from helluva boss (made by vivziepop)

5. The entities I mention that are part of Demonology, each have their purpose as well.

OK now that I got that out of the way here is a bit of my AU!

The world is divided into 3, which is the earth world, underworld, and hell. What's the difference?

Earth world: this is the normal human world, where people like us exist etc

Underworld: this is where all monsters and killers live and exist (I was inspired by this part by the Creeps comic sense I really liked the concept of having an underworld for killers to live at)

Hell: this is where prince's, queens, kings, princesses, of hell exist. So pretty much rulers of hell.

What happens in the underworld?

(this was also inspired by Creeps) in the underworld it is kind of like the earth world, but of course like I mentioned before, this is where killers exist and all that.

The difference is pretty much what you do, what you can study for, what you do for work, and lifestyle.

What can you study for and work for in the underworld?

Here you can study for careers like morticians, hitman, bounty killers, professional stalkers, and killer apprentices(can also be known as studying to be a proxy), or a demon's apprentice (what you dedicate for is depending the demon you decide to work for)

There are also normal jobs of course, like surgeon, CEO, entrepreneur, and pathologist.

What's the difference between hell and the underworld?

In the underworld it is pretty much normal people that became killers, ghosts, etc.

In hell, only royalty and rulers live there.

Who are in hell?

How can you get to the underworld?

There are a few ways that you can get to the underworld which are

1. You get brought by a demon from hell or by slenderman himself (very common and popular way). This usually happens once the underworld would be a much better place for you (for example, for Ben drowned he was brought to the underworld by slenderman after he died sense well he's a ghost now and was literally part of a hunted legend of Zelda video game so he was basically a bit of a poltergeist)

2. If you have any background with a killer that already lives in the underworld that was or is still related to you, you can also be brought to the underworld (kind of like when will Grossman was brought to the underworld and Isaac was looking for him (Isaac was his great great great grandpa I think))

3. Once your time has come to be in the underworld, you'll be teleported here, if you are dying then you would just wake up here, and if you are still conscious, you'll black out and get teleported.

What happens once you get to the underworld? Do you change?

Not much is changed, you still have the same personality and physical appearance that you had when you were in the underworld, the only physical change varies depending on how you died or why you came to the underworld (kind of like hazbin hotel and helluva boss, that depending on how you died you get left a mark that shows) or depending on what you did to yourself, a few examples are these:

-Jeff the killer: sense he killed his family and cut a smile on to his face, then when he's in the underworld, that smile does become permanent and a part of him, so it won't heal like a normal cut

-amari (my OC) didn't do anything to herself like Jeff did, but she was just power hungry and thrill seeking out of killing, so sense she has no self inflicted physical marks, once she came to the underworld, she had a skull in the iris of her eye (this kinda came out of the "the eyes are the Window to the soul" thing, and sense she literally wanted the death of others, she had a skull on her eye)

Info of the demons

They all have different personalities, morals, and different beliefs. So just because they are demons, it doesn't mean everyone is evil (except for zalgo, he's an evil mf)

-Some of them teach at the institution or schools

-they can make deals with anyone from the earth world and underworld

-sometimes they can take someone under their wing when they see potential in them

-Some of them have businesses, safe houses, proxies, etc just like slenderman

-sometimes they hire hitmen, bounty killers, and stalkers

Headcanons for Stella's friends because these two deserve some love

While we all love Stella here, I have to say I'm slightly disappointed that not one person, that I'm aware of, has taken the chance to do something with her friends. Especially when exploring the more tragic parts of her character, as her besties would be an important part of her support network. So I decided to name them and give them some uniqueness. For anyone curios I also plan on using them in my "GoldenGoose-verse".

Let's start with Camio. Like her real life demonology namesake, she can manipulate fire and increase or diminish the clarity of others' memories. Her duties mostly revolve around the latter ability, often to enable or prevent certain people to take certain actions.

Personality wise, she's quite bubbly and easy-going. Despite this, she's fiercely defensive of those close to her and gets a kick out of pushing people's buttons from time to time.

She actually has a lot of interest in human history and the evolution of their cultures. This is partly because she occasionally shapes human history and partly because she's always had a fascination with relationships, both between individuals and between groups.

Her and Stella have known each other basically their whole lives and can, consequently, get away with a lot more when it comes to messing with each other.

Now, onto Furfur. She's biologically male and nonbinary, cool with any pronouns but with a preference for female pronouns. Possesses electric powers. He's the most physically powerful of the trio and has several forms, similar to Paimon*. While their primary duty is weather manipulation, they also have the important task of keeping track of angelic activity on Earth.

*To expand on this, I like to think that every goetic demon has several forms, with one as a "base". Paimon's base form is indeed more humanlike that the form we see in The Circus. The reason most of the Ars Goetia are birds in the show is because bird forms are "in" at the time of the series. Furfur's primary form is a fluffy cloud deer

Furfur often comes across as aloof or inconsiderate, but that's mostly because of his belief in pushing her friends to improve themselves, this is frequently compounded by their snarky streak.

Loves playing with their and Stella's hair, they've both tried to convince Camio to grow her out.

She also has a habit of taking Stella and Camio on daytrips to Earth, everything there is her treat, she just loves swindling humans. After Stella and Via, their the most pissed at Stolas for being a sex pest.

I have some more stuff for their overall dynamics and how Mammon gets involved when he and Stella get together, but I feel that should wait for another time.

I’ve been thinking about your response to my previous ask and how you’ve said in the past Stella being with Mammon would encourage her to get out of her comfort zone. So, I’ve been mulling over an angsty Golden Goose scenario:

Basically, after having a number of dates, Mammon realizes he’s been taking the lead and deciding what they do on all of them, so he asks Stella what she wants to do or if there is any hobby she wants to indulge… and she doesn’t have an answer. She wracks her brain and… nothing. It’s only now that she realizes that she doesn’t have any interests or hobbies of her own, and outside of Camio and Furfur (hope it’s okay I’m drawing inspiration from your own headcanon) she doesn’t have much in the way of true friends. Between her strict upbringing, arranged marriage, dealing with Stolas’ crap, trying her best to parent Octavia, and doing everything in her power to get out of her marriage + get back at Stolas while she’s at it, she hasn’t really been able to explore any interests outside of passing flights of fancy. This realization leaves Stella despondent and inconsolable, with it taking a lot of effort on the part of Octavia, Mammon, Camio, and Furfur to try and get her out of the resulting funk. She ultimately comes out of it for the better and starts exploring different ventures that catches her eye, but that realization still sometimes eats away at the back of her mind.

Im not used to writing angst, so here’s a more comedic idea I’ve had since I started shipping Golden Goose:

The second Andrealphus realizes his sister is dating possibly the most wealthy demon in the entire 7 Rings, he immediately gets to work trying to get in Mammon’s good graces and sucks up to him on every occasion. Mammon is aware of Andy’s… questionable behavior and the only reason he hasn’t turned the icy peacock into a Slurpee is because of reasons similar to why he hasn’t personally dealt with Stolas. Instead, Mam has settled on stringing Andrealphus along and finding subtle ways to humiliate him in a similar manner to how Kevin treated the bellhop in Home Alone 2.

Apologies if this is a garbled mess, but I’ve been on a Golden Goose kick and felt like sharing.

I could actually empathies with Stella's issue in the first idea, the feeling of directionlessness has crept up on me a few times, that sense of dread as your own values start devaluing every moment. There's a lot of potential to explore with this concept, I've even toyed with some similar ideas in the past.

Also, don't sweat it, I would KILL to have my ideas for Camio and Furfur become common fanon.

I love the idea of Andre trying to parasitize off of Stella's relationship with Mammon. It also works well for Mam's characterization, as I can confidently say that whenever they met, he would casually insult Andre while delivering it like a joke in his typical, bantering way of talking, so Andre doesn't even realize he's being insulted. Not that he'd let if show if he did realize, he to stay in Mam's 'good' graces.

More headcanons for Camio and Furfur (Stella's friends)

Been a while since I talked about these two, but it's time to get back into it!

For anyone missing the context, you can find it here

Due to her fascination with humans, Camio goes out of her way to exclusively hire sinners as her house staff and bodyguards. It's more costly than hellborns, but she finds it personally enriching and worthwhile.

Furfur can teleport/manifest as a lightning bolt from any cloud they choose.

After Mammon and Stella's wedding, the group's trips to the human world become more like family vacations, with Mam and Via tagging along.

Between Stella, Furfur and Camio, Camio is the oldest.

With the hubbub about the hotel, Furfur is ordered to expand and extend his surveillance of Heaven's direct activities on Earth.

While we're at it, she gets the unenviable task of sorting out the C.H.E.R.U.B situation.

Don't get me wrong, Fiadh has the Power and Ability to kick a decent amount of ass, she's not a pacifist by any means, she just likes to avoid violence.

I just kinda wanted to draw Fiadh after the latest Helluva Boss ep, because Moxxie's mom looked pretty similar to Fiadh's old designs with the orangish skin tone and the white freckles. And before this i had a headcanon Moxxie was Alastor and Fiadh's adopted kid and it was just kinda neat to see his mom coincadentally resembaled FIadh a bit.

She has the same powers as her birth father, Furfur, and some plant/Celtic fae powers. Theoretically, she could take anyone his level or weaker on, she just chooses not to.

She spent her whole life surviving and really Hell is like an Eternity of Retirement (Or what she thinks that would be like, she didn't live anywhere NEAR the age to reach that point). So if someone tries to mess with her she's likely to tell Alastor or Furfur and move on with life.

Ever since finally meeting his daughter in Hell (long story short: he and Fiadh's mother fell in love on Earth, but he wasn't able to be a part of their lives. Her mother assumed that Fiadh was the daughter of the man she ended up marrying so that's how Fiadh was raised until she arrived in hell), Furfur has been nothing but a doting father to her.

Meanwhile, Alastor is her childhood friend (they'd spend summers together) and they married to get Fiadh out of an abusive situation, and because of Alastor's possessiveness (can be romantic or just strong platonic feelings). He largely blamed himself for not being there to stop her murder.

So while she was a very skittish and easily scared girl in life, between marrying a serial killer and learning she was actually the spawn of a demon, she's become a lot more fearless.
