Kassandra and Helenus!
I love thinking of how the twins would've spent a lot of their nights as children in the temple of Apollo, whispering stories and theories of anything their little minds could come up with

Hi! Could you speak of Cassandra? Thank you very much 🥺
cassandra, the prophetess (asteroid 114)
Tumblr media
Cassandra (also known as Alexandra) appears as the daughter of the Trojan rulers Priam and Hecuba in The Iliad. Priam had Cassandra and her twin, Helenus, given (because he had so many children) to Apollo's temple to serve as devotees. Cassandra allegedly was a favorite of Apollo, who promised her the gift of prophecy if she did not reject his romantic advances. Cassandra agreed to this but when she got her gift, she rejected Apollo. Apollo then cursed her so that no one would ever believe her prophecies even though she accurately prophesied Paris destroying Troy, Agamemnon's (who brought Cassandra home as a "trophy of war") death, and so much more. Agamemnon and Cassandra are allegedly killed together by Clytemnestra after Cassandra has twins - who Clytemnestra also kills... IN MY OPINION Kassandra in your chart can represent a) where you don't follow quid pro quo, b) where your rejection of someone ruins your life, c) where you have both a gift and a curse, d) what your gift and curse are, e) where no one believes what you say, and/or f) where you fall from grace after not keeping your word.
Tumblr media
i encourage you to look into the aspects of kassandra along with the sign, degree, and house placement. for the more advanced astrologers, take a look at the persona chart of kassandra AND/OR add the other characters involved to see how they support or impede kassandra!
OTHER RELATED ASTEROIDS: apollo (1862), agamemnon (911), paris (3317), priamus (884), hecuba (108), and helenos (1872)!

Alright...alright ALRIGHT! oh my freaking goodness! So much to unravel here and it so pains me to have only 140-ish notes! This amount of work to synthesize this is worth at least 13.000 I swear! Either way there is a lot to unpack so let's see!
For starters I love the mixture between anatolian and greek features here. We know the location of Troy but we also see the Trojans speak the same language and worship the same gods as the Greeks in the Iliad which is very interesting. Not only does it create a closeness with each other (and we know it is not your typical story "them vs us" thing but a more complicated matter than that) but could also potentially wink to the first taking of Troy by Heracles like one or two generations prior. The conquests of heroes in greek mythology were about the spreading of hellenic culture and conquers or colonies created by the greeks in the lands they conquered or moved into. Heracles conquered Troy once which signifies the entrance of hellenic culture in Troy.
Particularly I love the beards that they have looking like a mixture of Assyrian and western. Hecuba looks amazing next to her husband and Priam looks fantastic too! I also feel for poor Kassandra here who is staring to the upcoming doom and cannot stop it (that was an interesting choice of hair that you gave her hehehe) and Polyxena too! She looks so young!
I think Paris and Helenus are some of my favorites of this! So great harmony to their colors! Paris also looks like a little brat here! Hahahahahaha! But he is pretty alright! Hahahahaha! And my oh my Deiphobos looks scary! No wonder that poor Helenus got offended when he didn't get Helen as his wife! XD The regal looks of Andromache and Laodice also look so great!
Now Troilus is intersting! Hahaha he almost looks like an albino! But I can see you try to bring out his godly father's nature here with the pale blonde hair and all. Oh my poor Sinon! Hahahahahaha! He definitely got the wrong end of the stick here! Hahahaha! And what a creative look for Pandarus! The shaved or balding heads are not used very often to art like this so this was really creative (as well as with Deiphobos)!
From the allies Eurypylus looks so ominus and Sarpedon looks so much like Zeus! So great way to show family resemblance! As well as Aeneas again the choice of hair color is to connect him with Aphrodite? Interesting colorism! I think though my favorites are Memnon and Penthesilea! I love how you make the ethnicities righthere and Memnon looks GLORIOUS! Powerful and strong king of Ethiopia, the guy that literally named the epic poem Aithiopis! And Penthesilea! Man that violent laughing look exactly as she was supposed to be described in poems like Posthomerica! Making other terrified of her and yet we also see how beautiful she is (the face that even post-mortem made Achilles fall over the hills in love with her)! I love her tattoos inspired by scythian tribes again! So accurate given how often Amazon warriors were linked to the area of Scythia!
Now for Helen I can see why you are proud of her! She looks fantastic this way! Interesting choice of hair color given how most sources speak of her and many people connect her hair with blonde color instead of red (see Dares the Phrygian elleged accounts) but I love this straubery color stands up as well as her eyes The roses suit her perfectly in the background and I like how you try to bring some of the age she ellegedly has here (I estimate around her final 30s)
Good you didn't include poor Astyanax here! People would bawl their eyes out! TT-TT

Trojan War - the Trojans
The sister piece to my chart on the Achaeans. Out of the two, this is my favourite. I spent so many hours on Helen and I'm so proud of how she turned out.

@littlesparklight guess I should explain the "Troy was sacked in the generation prior" au (@mitsybubbles also asked)
Now, all my AUs are stupid because they never have plots, but I've got the premise and vibe at least
Shifting some timing around, Priam and Hecuba marry earlier and have started a family when Heracles comes to Troy. And when he sacks Troy, he doesn't leave the city intact. Heracles and his men raze Troy and kill everyone they can, including Priam and Hecuba, though they do what they can to get their children out of the city first. Hektor manages to get his little siblings out alive as Troy burns.
So the family here is only the older of Priam's children, being (from the way I have their ages) Hektor, Deiphobus, Ilione, Helenus and Kassandra, and Paris. Hektor is ten when Troy falls; Paris is four.
In my mind, the AU is essentially a character study imagining how they might grow up without a reliable adult there to take care of them (and also without the benefit of royalty). Especially in the beginning, in the fresh wreckage, they can do little more than beg, relying on the charity of others. They find places to stay here and there, but nowhere they can all remain permanently. They refuse to be separated.
As a couple years pass and they get older, they go back to Troy and make a place for themselves in the ruins. They have to go elsewhere often for things they need, but it makes for a home they can return to and depend on.
As they get older still, they work more to earn their needs, mostly menial physical labor. Hektor manages to tame one of the horses of the plains and offers to help plow fields and pull carts. Paris writes his own songs and sings at any of the little towns around them.
In short, to touch a little on each of them and part of their struggles in the situation, Hektor grapples with his self imposed duty to become a parental figure to the others and care for them in a way that would make their parents proud. Deiphobus struggles to find a balance in his expectations to share the burden with Hektor and in how Hektor also treats him as someone he looks after. Ilione struggles not to think of herself as a burden on her family and to not see their reassurances as pity (I headcanon that Ilione gets sick very often when she's young). Helenus struggles with resentment and jealousy at the feeling that Hektor has set himself above them and looks down on them. Kassandra grapples with the way trauma from the fall of Troy affects her and makes her feel. Paris struggles to find a sense of self that satisfies him and feels like it can measure up to his older siblings who always seem so many steps ahead of him.
I also just really like to consider the premise for the atmosphere of all of them living in ruined landscape of a glory now lost. There's a vague, sort of post apocalyptic vibe to it. It has a melancholy beauty, these beating hearts living their lives in the ghost of Troy.

silver spun out from the graves
the corpses writhing in agony
the gods and angels, the very same demons they despised, fled from their greedy beds
and fed upon us happily
visions still of my child, bloodied beyond recognition
irreparable desecration
irreparable pain
the thick black bile, the red of blood, viscous and vicious with cursed clotted disease
coronis dancing around, blonde and beautiful, smiling and blessed by the envious sun, in my periphery
kisses from her trailing down my chest and my stomach, as we connect and defy the cursed fates, the hateful day, the bitter and hideous moon
andromeda, andromeda, andromeda
icarus falling like a forsaken shooting star into the great black ocean,
persephone dead on the floor, slathered in her own blood
my child is gone
my child is gone
have you seen my child?
his kidnappers,
they torment me,
and their lover is the days that my child and i were raped
"you will never remember the days you were tortured"
but yet it's a lie
and time keeps on slipping
time continues on
shake ya ass, show your tiddies, girl; 7:48

Some arguably accursed twins, Helenus and Kassandra
I know they are fraternal but I just think it's cooler if they are identical, and as per normal they got matching funky beauty marks.
