Do you have any characters you feel aren't talked about enough? Either narratively or irl, for me Felicity will always be "that one character with the most interesting influence on the story that just gets sidelined in favor of other things"

oh there are plenty!! felicity is a really good example, though it think it is partially by design that she is wiped so cleanly from the games memory. she only ever really existed to a handful of people, her narrative purpose is a warning sign that goes ignored. (wilhelm, claptrap, gladstone, all people who were involved in her death eventually becoming just as expendable to jack and hyperion.) however i DO think that her death would have stuck with aurelia specifically and if the writers had any care for her character it would have changed how she acted in BL3. and from a fandom sense absolutely yes she needs more attention. i need to draw her myself one of these days. and i feel pretty much every BL1 character would be very popular if introduced today, or if they had lived past the first game. outside of that, helena pierce, steele, and baron flynt had potential to be very important to the surviving cast and its not really seen through. uhmm who else. the fact that wilhelm isnt more popular is a little bizarre to me seeing as how he’s so heavily attached to hyperion. i think he was underutilized by the games as well, sacrificing him for the plot in a lackluster way and not really giving him anything to stand out against the other VHs in TPS. he is VERY interesting to me though, and had the potential to be very threatening. sir hammerlock is unironically one of the best characters in the series and he has such a lasting presence between BL2 and 3 and there has been almost complete radio silence on the fandom's end. he is very unique to me! and very charming, and i wish that was felt more by the rest of the fandom at large. he was the perfect introduction to BL2. story wise i think he sits very comfortably, and as far as borderlands characters go, he gets more attention than most. but i am starving for more fan content. i think im cheating a little bit by putting angel on this list but i genuinely do think she should have been mourned properly by the characters (and by the game, from a meta standpoint). shes popular enough as it is within the fandom, but i dont really feel her impact as much as i would like within the games themselves. her being mentioned in BL3 and FFS dont really count to me, mainly because they seem more like misery baiting than properly addressing and mourning her circumstances. she just gets flattened down to this sad, dead little girl. and she was more than that! i guess my biggest issue is that its hard to make narrative connections. borderlands has kind of an object permanence issue with its characters when theyre not on screen.

Telemachus was the son of Odysseus and Penelope. Notably, Odysseus attempted to get out of going to war with the Trojans to be with him and Penelope - but that didn't work out. For years, Telemachus was raised solely by his mother. When he came of age, he travelled the Mediterranean to find his lost father. Inspired by the words of Athena, Telemachus visited Nestor then Menelaus and Helen all of whom told him stories of his father. At last (because that is quite the distance between the two visits), he reached Eumaeus who was hosting the disguised Odysseus at the time. When Odysseus exposed his true identity, father and son set off to kill the suitor of Penelope. IN MY OPINION Telemachus in your chart can indicate a) being raised solely by your mother/maternal figure, b) your curiosity about your father, c) your loyalty to your father, and/or d) your protectiveness of your mother.

i encourage you to look into the aspects of telemachus along with the sign, degree, and house placement. for the more advanced astrologers, take a look at the persona chart of telemachus AND/OR add the other characters involved to see how they support or impede telemachus!

s08e01 I am so excited to start season 8, yayy, finally. It's the 24th of October by the way, haha. The song and scene combining the plane emergency and beenado is so smart. That is nightmarish. Look at that clench, he is pissed. He looks so good btw. You will hear that a couple of times from me. And the mustache!! Can I just say that I didn't love it, initially but it's growing on me. But it's not allowed to stay the entire season. A work in progress, excuse me. Did Ravi just dip?? That's hilarious. He is pissed. Eddie is just zoning out, not present, the smirk, he is used to this. He is so tall, omg. I love how they communicate with their eyes. I would be pissed. I hope he dies in that emergency. Look at that big beefy man. Eddie knows him, I love them. They are so family here. I love when they talk shit. Hotshots, haha. His accent. Poor Bobby, I don't know if this is his dream or worst nightmare. Do not open that door. Drive, bitch, drive. Does Maddie have a nose piercing? I love Wikipedia Buck. And sarcastic Chim. Go, Josh. there’s this “sliding doors” theory going around twitter (by @/abnormalamanda) that 911 is doing a type of alternative universe episode, where everything is a bit off, like close but not perfect. it’s prompted by some bts pics where the truck says 119 instead of 118, eddies mustache, and oliver posting pics in wardrobe with his tattoos uncovered.

despite the plausibility of this actually happening could yall imagine how fucking amazing opportunity wise that episode could be????

there’s so many scenarios they could visit. shannon never died. or she did, but eddie healed. chris never left. the kim thing never happened. oh my god imagine if bobbys kids never died, but he found athena anyway. what if buck never found out about daniel, or he did way younger, went through a bad boy phase. came out during that time. what if he met eddie already out of the closet. what if they are together. what if buddie became canon in that universe literally in 2x01 (it kinda did anyway but shhhh).

what if gerard isn’t there bc bobby never quit. there was never a fire. what if henren met later in life, adopted danny when he was older.

or complete 180’s too chimney being bucks bestie instead of hen’s. unmarried madney……. not even together madney? id cry.

Bradley slammed on the brakes a bit harder than necessary, knuckles white from gripping the steering wheel too tight. Thea was quiet in the passenger seat, playing with the hem of her jean shorts as he sat in silence in the driveway. 

Dinner had been tense, to say the least. Bradley’s mood had only gotten worse as Athena continued to pester them. At first she had taken an interest in Thea, asking her all sorts of questions. It was innocent enough but Bradley knew there was nothing innocent about his WSO. He had kept quiet though, hand resting on Thea’s knee as she answered Athena’s rapid questions.

Bob and Hangman had seemed oblivious to the tension at first, eager to catch up since they last saw each other. Bradley hated how well they seemed to get along. Like Hangman and Bob were actual friends. It felt wrong. Hangman wasn’t a friendly guy and Bob should know that. Especially if they spent months together on a carrier. He couldn’t exactly put his thumb on why it bothered him so much, but it did.

Drawing I made of Menelaos, Helena and Paris. These are also the designs I'm going to use in my future webcomic Athena's Champions. In my original designs I used a darker shade for Menelaos' hair and now that I'm comparing both of the haircolors, I think the darker shade compliments him better. The kilt is also a bit different, apparently I remembered it differently. I started experimenting with adding more blush recently, don't know yet, if I'm going to keep it or not.

(MY) EPIC Headcanons

I love Jorge work so much (Suffering/Puppeteer are my favorites). I also like to thank OSP for giving a brief summary of the Odyssey.

After Odysseus kills/murders the suitors he spends a month relaxing with his son and Penelope.

Odysseus tells Telemachus about his Uncle Polites/Uncle Eurylochus.

Odysseus tells Telemachus about his adventures.

Circe becomes an aunt to Telemachus and a mother figure to Odysseus (Because I said so). Even though Circe doesn't come to Ithaca she sends letters to them.

I'd d like to think Odysseus was a heavy sleeper but became a light sleeper during his adventures.

During the song 'Underworld' Polites was singing open arms, but was holding the baby from the song 'The Infant and the Horse'.

When Ody first met Penelope he LITERALLY tucked a hair behind his ear. Penelope found it cute. Telemachus gets that trait whenever he is flustered & reminds Pene of his father.

Hermes is the Grandfather to Ody. (When researching how Hermes is related to Ody it was tricky and I gave up).

Penelope is the man in the relationship (Change my mind).

Odysseus was scared as shit to go near water because of Poseiden. Took him a few years to heal from that.

Odysseus doesn't know this, but Athena thought Odysseus as a son, a companion, someone closes to her. Even after their falling out, Athena goes out of her way to protect Odysseus. Which is shocking even to the gods. Gods aren't really attacted to mortals.

During Thunder Bringer Zeus actually consider to spare Odysseus crew if Odysseus was to sleep with him (whether he wanted to or not), but Hera intervened. Hera is very protective of men who are very faithful to their partners (Ex: Ody). Plus she knows Odysseus will always stay faithful to Penelope and she loves that about him.

Helena of Troy (after being rescued) had nightmares, even with her husband she's still scared that Paris or any of the trojans coming to get her back to Paris. Menelaus really wanted to rip Paris part by part because of the pain he caused to his wife.

During his childhood, Telemachus would always sleep next to his mother, Telemachus always feared that one of the suitors would violate his mother when he wasn't there to protect her.

Hermes gave Odysseus magic weed- Athena almost beat the shit outta him for that.

(In the Odyssey) Hermes did NOT like Calypso after what she did to Odysseus. Ares had to restrain him from going after Calypso.

Odysseus learned some flirting tips from Circe that he tried to use on Penelope (It didn't work, but he did get a kiss!), Penelope tried the same and Odysseus was a flustered mess.

Athena checks up on Ithaca once n' a while, Odysseus knows this and always left a window opened for the Goddess to watch over his family and kingdom.

While Poseiden was attacking Odysseus for blinding his son, half of it was because he was claimed by Athena, but now because Odysseus wasn't claimed by Athena anymore, Poseiden could do more harm.

Odysseus is a short king (that we almost stan ✨️), he was at the height of his father when he was in his early teens. Odysseus was recored as the shortest king of Ithaca, his son being only 2 inches higher than him.

Odysseus comforted his sister about Eury's death. Eurylochus was married to Odysseus younger sister, Ctimene, making Eurylochus Odysseus brother in law (Odysseus actually helped Eurylochus marry his sister, because he knew Eurylochus was the right and prefect husband for his sister.
