Tried out my game for a few rounds with a friend! Turns out the game's absolutely fucking brutal if you're the mouse. So, some errata:
The mouse gets to roll 3d6 by default, 4d6 with pun.
The joker is now difficulty 20.
This should improve the mouse's success rate significantly, lengthening the game and incentivizing greed instead of cowardice. I will not change this in the already submitted entry - I should have done my due diligence - but may reblog this addendum after the jam finishes.
On the plus side, the game is very fun! My friend especially liked the improv aspect and how it is actually incentivized, and thinks it balances luck and strategy well.
