Rogue Trader - Heinrix romance - Corruption points and act 4 romance
There are some dialog options in the game, that will add points to a corruption counter - with 3 points, Heinrix will leave the inquisition at the end and give the true love achievement.
The dialog options are not tied to a conviction so you don't have to play iconoclast and you don't have to go with a certain Rykad Minoris decision etc. but if you go too heretical he will eventually leave you.
In this case, you will have this additional dialog in the freeze scene of his romance:
Afterwards you can speak with him on the bridge about him leaving the inquisition (fully voiced too).
The relevant dialog options are (help from reddit user yellowfish28 here):
Act 2 - Janus ("Why must your concern for me be wrapped up in layers of rebukes and recriminations")
Act 2 - Black Ship ("You do not always have to appear invincible. Especially around me") -> you only have the dialog in act 2!
Act 3 - when you meet him in the pit where he rests ("They mutilated and maimed you purely because of what you are" or "It pains me even to listen to you. I cannot imagine the agony you suffered")
Act 4 - Date - it requires already 2 corruption points to be avilable ("We have one life. I don't want to give all of mine to the Imperium with nothing left for myself. Do you? Do you actually want it?")
To use toybox to check/change the values manually (on PC) you can find an explanation here.
Here is the full video for the freeze scene:

the whole thing with calligos (and subsequently with the aeldari) on quetza temer shakes ammabel a little bit. worten's comment about calligos falling to chaos out of "loneliness and boredom" hits a nerve.
abelard has informed her that he wants to leave to be with his family when he can. she's just had a disastrous dinner date with heinrix where she's basically realised she loves him just as he informs her they probably won't last. she was betrayed - yet again - by someone she knew, deep down, she probably shouldn't have trusted (but she wanted to! einrich made her feel like she really *was* one of the people! that she *was* a good ruler!). and there are basically two people in the entire expanse who understand the position she occupies, and one of them is dead (basically) by her hand, and the other nearly cleaved in two in an effort to protect her.
and even though she's always been separate from others around her (as a commissar), in practice it got messy. she got (perhaps too) attached to her past regiment after being with them for so long, who also got (perhaps too) attached to her. and after having that kind of connection, she's been implicitly seeking it out again. so she is starting to feel a little lonely at the top.
she also feels like, despite all the power she has, she's floundering to genuinely do anything meaningful with it. all those big, noble ideas she had of doing better, and yet she wonders how much better she's truly done. she also wonders how much closer she is to corruption now.
but everyone seems to notice how morose she is on the shuttle ride off of the planet, and she feels embarrassed about it being so obvious. so she tells herself to get over it.
but she does go down to heinrix's quarters to fix things with him.
#chewing on this tension between ammabel's active desire to reform and the fear of corruption that still lurks within her#(and this manifests in a really fun way with nomos!)#and this yearning she has for genuine connection with others. she got a taste of it with her last regiment (and then she got them killed).#she wants it again! she needs it!#and there's a fun parallel with heinrix there but also a key point of difference that makes them work#heinrix tries to shut that desire away while ammabel pursues it#but anyway the idea of calligos showing a future ammabel could fall into... jaded and alone and easy to corrupt....#ammabel von valancius#jessica plays rogue trader

A question if you will….
So during the freeze scene with Heinrix there’s at least three options you can pick to help him pull out of it (plus the option to let him freeze to death but we aren’t talking about that one). In the first one it seems if you have enough corruption points, you can say “I want to help you, just tell me how!” and that seems to pull him out of it fairly quickly. There’s also the option to grasp his hand and that seems to snap him out relatively quickly as well.
However, if you choose to hug him and say “Wake up…” he seems to take a lot longer for some reason? Like the narration implies it probably takes several minutes if not longer and when he finally does snap out of it he gasps, unlike with the other options where he comes to with a long shaky breath.
I’m not entirely sure what to make of this, if this is a narrative thing or simply a game thing but what do you all think?

For the first time asks: first time either Heinrix or Evanelia realized they didn't want to say goodbye/goodnight? 👀
I think for Evanelia it sort of snuck up on her during their regular games of regicide -- at first they would wrap up at a respectable time, then they pushed it by playing 'just one more' game, then the next time they pushed it a little further, and so on...until eventually one night Evanelia yawns and Heinrix suddenly snaps out of it to realize that "just one more" game turned into three or four more somewhere along the way, and he's now in the Rogue Trader's room in the wee hours of the morning.
He quickly excuses himself, embarrassed and trying to be a gentleman -- and Evanelia is really tempted to suggest that he just stay. He could take the bed because he's taller and there's a perfectly nice chaise she could curl up on. Or vice versa. (It's fine, she tells herself. Jae slept here after her party.)
But she doesn't, because she's never had romantic interest requited before, and she doesn't want to be annoying or desperate, so she says goodnight.
Then they kiss at the Magnae Accessio. They slowly drift closer together while maintaining a little bit of respectable distance. Then Commorragh happens. Heinrix isn't with her. He's a wreck (unknown to her). When they reunite and he kisses her in her study, that's when she finally asks him to stay, because she doesn't want to say goodnight and lie alone in the dark; she hasn't felt safe in weeks and she wants to be held. He stays. -----------
I already sort of wrote Heinrix's first major instance of not wanting to say goodbye/goodnight here, at the end of their post-Kiava-Gamma conversation:
Heinrix wavered on the spot. He knew that it was time to bid her farewell and make his departure. He knew she had pressing matters to attend to — and as if to remind him (in case he had forgotten), the comm had once again started to clatter on her desk. Yet he lingered. It was rather like the enjoyment of a hot shower on a proper vessel, after weeks of making do in the field. He felt that same brief moment of rebellion: where his body, normally so willing to conform to duty, to schedule, to the prodding of his biomancy, dragged out its obedience almost to the point of mutiny. Everything felt slow, and warm, and wonderful, and he didn’t want to leave. The racket of the comm faded to a pleasant hum.
The realization that the Inquisition will call him back at some point and they'll have to say goodbye for good is what leads them to break up during the dinner date scene.
They're both torn to pieces over it. A short while after, Evanelia disappears with Cassia due to Navigator weirdness. When the two of them reappear, Heinrix asks to debrief with Evanelia privately, ostensibly to make sure there was no warp corruption (but really to speak with her and see if she's ok). In the elevator up to her chambers he's overcome with his feelings over her coming back to him alive after a period of awful uncertainty (AGAIN!) and kisses her impulsively. Before he can apologize that he didn't know what he was thinking, she kisses him back, and one thing leads to another. He wakes up in bed with her and once again faces the fact that the Inquisition will call him back, that he'll have to say goodbye for good and they won't be in each others' lives... and this time he realizes that he can't bear the prospect, which is what prompts the freeze scene.

Random thoughts on Lynette von Valancius (and possible relationship between RT and Heinrix)
I think when it comes to Heinrix, the RT's main intention may be to give him some grey hair and, eventually, drive him completely crazy. Probably, even to make his presence on the board hardly bearable, yet not confronting him directly. Why so? Because after Lynette spent years under the watchful eye of the Inquisition for some reason, without any real chance to make her rules, becoming RT is like a breath of fresh air for her. This title came out of the blue, but she intends to take as much advantage of that as possible.
Although teasing an interrogator and making his life less comfortable aren't the most signicant benefits, they're definitely enjoyable ones! She slowly gets softer with him. Still, he doesn't 'pass her trust check' until Commorragh. Shame, but even after that she has a few doubts about his true intentions nearly till the end of the game.
P.S. What's more, at first, subconsciously, Lynette'd like him to lose his mind, get back to Calcazar in such a condition, and corrupt the entire Inquisition there... (dark side points gained!)
#everything is complicated#one day she wouldn't mind driving him crazy in a bit different way...#the power her title provides doesn't tempt her#it's more freedom and safety which allow her to put up with great responsibility her title demands#why do i make people from my fav pairings suffer and have complicated relationships???#rogue trader#heinrix van calox#von valancius#warhammer 40k rogue trader#lynette von valancius#heinrix x von valancius#heinrix x rogue trader#everything is complicated to friends to lovers#random thoughts

Ohhhh yrliet girl you fucked up. You fucked up real bad.
Yrliet seemed to take Malakai's "I will take all the help I can get to escape" as forgiveness but I really, really don't think it was. Especially after being psychically tortured (and resisting through sheer willpower), Malakai has more or less shut down the part of their brain that feels. This is also partially a response to the torture worm that makes you see things. They beat all the checks by pointing out inconsistencies in the scene, so that's what they're devoting everything they have toward (and what they were taught to do to resist warp corruption) - know what is real and what is not. There isn't much room for other things right now. They need to get out and they will. They will do whatever they need to do to get out and consign any considerations of what happens after that to the future. Right now they are putting everything they have towards staying sane via clinging to a single, tiny shred of hope that might promise escape. The only question is if and how they'll process what happened during this time. Will it give them enough time for the fires of their anger to calm down and their usual nature to reassert itself, or will it push them further over the edge? And the thing is, Malakai is pretty forgiving. Malakai wants to see the best in people. But she just dropped them into their own personal ptsd nightmare and I don't know that there's any coming back from that under these circumstances. For a couple reasons.
First, she made a really stupid decision and then lied to their face, which they take as a challenge to their authority. Malakai is well aware that they're a psyker and only a distant relative of theodora, and therefore their authority and right to ascend as rogue trader is on.... Perhaps somewhat shakier ground than they would like. Especially after they were more or less threatened by the lord inquisitor (thanks for the heads up, heinrix. It probably did help). So they are very aware that they need to strengthen their authority as much as possible, and use it wisely. This actually caused a number of conflicts between them and Jae, who they saw as challenging them/overstepping, and lead to some cooling of that relationship. Heinrix has also been on the receiving end of that type of displeasure in some cases, though his authority via the inquisition does allow him some level of..... Imposition. Heinrix warning Malakai that the lord inquisitor was coming and that there was no real threat almost certainly saved that relationship from a similar cooling. But anyway, yrliet made a bad decision (trusting the drukhari?? Girl) which is somewhat forgivable, and then lied about how she knew (challenging them, using them, not forgivable). That means that their relationship is at an end, the only question is what kind of end. Because Malakai absolutely cannot trust yrliet now, because they see her as a poor decision-maker who can't even acknowledge that flaw (or so desperate that she will risk anyone and anything to get what she wants, which amounts to the same thing). Malakai cannot give her any other assistance because of this, so it's time for them to part ways.
It's how things actually played out that makes me wonder exactly what that parting of ways will look like. In most circumstances, I think Malakai would be willing to provide her with any resources she required, then drop her off at a location of her choosing. A polite but firm goodbye. But Malakai has already been under a lot of stress as they try to manage their new protectorate and try to decide between doing what they feel is right and what they were taught is right and then watching both of those options blow up in their face. Being threatened by the lord inquisitor didn't help matters either. And they had sort of started to make their peace with their choices, to regain some faith in their ability to choose what they believe is right, and then yrliet came in and, in some sense, proved all those people who said they were a fool to trust a xenos right. She sold them out. And maybe that isn't a super fair assessment of the situation, but Malakai has been dropped into their own personal ptsd hell and they're struggling to cope. They're backed into a corner and they're about to start swinging. They're not particularly angry or vengeful, but everyone has their limits and this just might be theirs. It really depends on how the rest of the act goes, but I think there's a real chance they'll execute her, especially if things get worse.
Apparently if you don't take yrliet into your retinue, Achilleas Scalander is the one who betrays you (I looked it up). He explains that he broke during torture. I've seen people call this motivation far more compelling, and I agree! That is absolutely something Malakai could forgive, interestingly enough.
#Sorry I have to yap about my oc or I'll lose it#Malakai von Valancius#Merlin plays rogue trader#I'd talked before about heinrix starting to get some glimpses beneath the mask and wondering if he'd be able to sustain that#Well he's definitely getting a look beneath the mask of perfection now lol#In some ways that might just make him idealize them more though because the side they're about to show here is.... A Lot#But impressive in its really fucked up execution if that makes sense#Like this is someone who was tortured previously and they're clearly in a bad place but they're clawing forward anyway#It's this massive display of untempered willpower that is as impressive as it is harmful to them#But also this is Malakai stripped of everything. There won't be any kind and thoughtful words and reassurances or playful banter#This is Malakai flayed down to the bone. There is only survival. There is only moving forward.#Calculation of the best odds without thought for the collateral. They'll try to save who they can. That's their way.#But only if they're on their way to freedom. They aren't aiming to save everyone any longer. Just themselves#Also I have zero idea how Marazhai ends up in our little group lol I'm curious to see how that goes#(no spoilers on that point please!)

Cas Posting Part 2 since apparently I'm not done 😅
While I'm thinking about it, my first run getting to the branding scene was just, so diabolical. Because of the order I did the companion quests, by the time Euphrates 2 rolled around Casimira was fresh off the triple-whammy of the "We Have No Future (Because My Job Comes First)" talk with Heinrix, the lethal breakup with Beloved Lady Saurbeck (she loved Chaos more than Cas), and the "I Wont Be A Casual Dalliance (My Job is Corrupt and Falling Apart, Baby Come Back)" Breakup with Heinrix all in a short span. And so, to have come off the Hell that is Eufrates II and see a Marazhai event pop up I was fully expecting another, "oh just so you know, I'm leaving you at some point" talk, since of all Cas' relationships that was the one that was explicitly just for kicks. Especially when he starts off with the whole "Humans put too much stock in friendship, loyalty, and love (🤢)" preamble (which, great thing to tell somebody coming off their second breakup in like, a month btw), I was genuinely caught off guard at what he was actually there for? Like oh this isn't a breakup he wants her to... brand him? Ugh okay Athletics skill don't fail her....oh, he's not seriously putting up a fight he's letting her take the knife.... Like, it's very fucked up in the "you should have another way of expressing commitment without seriously injuring each other" but also considering Mr. True Aeldari can and later does cause a huge fuss with own Kabal over letting a human do that to him, it's also very sweet? Like, ew, feelings but also at the same time that was probably the most loving thing that'd happened to her all game up to that point? Terrible people, terrible together!
#anyways when i say hes a mess and i hate him this is what i mean#like forget leaving a job Mr Trueborn Kabalite's going to risk his pride and people and Archon promotion for little old her?#if they werent already kind of married at that point shed be 👰🏽♀️💒 in front of the God-Emperor and everything#casimira von Valancius#rogue trader spoilers

Went to bed at 1:30 am because I was determined to rush the end of act 3 since I wanted to see marzipain in the voidship. However i'm SO morose over losing pasqal that I'm seriously considering rolling back to an earlier save and... go through all that again... sigh
well I fucked up and I don't wanna continue without pasqal because my gut tells me this might fuck me in the future and soft lock me out of something important (besides pasqal's own quest ofc). So back to the Pit we'll go tonight
more RT OC infodumping below eeeeeee
new mortred lore I've cooked up:
i'm sold on the idea of making house dagoth part of the navis nobilite. It's a perfect fit considering their uh.... practices.... and noble status. Voryn/Dagoth Ur would be the Novator at that point. When mortred was still a nobody, he caught the Novator's eye lmao no pun intended and they got involved. The reason that led to everything falling apart and mortred having to kill him is still unclear, I like the idea of voryn falling to corruption however I'm afraid that might lead to the entire house being exterminated by the inquisition lmao BUT let's go with that for now
so Voryn and his diehard cult followers were overthrown, with mortred dealing the last blow personally. The house was wiped out.... at least that's what everyone believes :)
I've decided to throw Senya in this AU, so she's the last Dagoth. She was born less than a year after voryn's death and mortred immediately gave her up to someone else's care because another one of his defining traits is that he's always a deadbeat father out of trauma lmao. He made sure to provide her a comfortable life but that's as far as it goes. She's likely not even aware of his existence (think deckard and his daughter in blade runner 2049)
now why all this is interesting for the plot of rogue trader in specific:
cassia: it explains why mortred is so overprotective of her from the get-go. every time he looks at this white-haired red-eyed girl it feels like a knife in his chest because he's forced to think of his own daughter :) unconsciously projecting senya on cassia
calcazar: currently obsessed with the idea of xavier being the one who was in charge of dealing with the Dagoth cult back in calixis. Mortred nearly had a heart attack when he saw xavier at his coronation party... back in the day he was likely conscripted into spying for the Inquisition and in the end xavier used him as a pawn to end voryn, so his presence sets mortred on edge and being threatened did little to soothe his nerves. But so far xavier is unaware of senya's existence
heinrix: OOF this one... mortred was definitely tense and ill at ease with an agent of the inquisition breathing down his neck, especially since he feared heinrix was aware of who he was (beyond being a calixian crime lord that is) and what he had done. But it turns out heinrix was not aware of mortred's involvement with the cult and over time mortred relaxes around him to the point they become friends. Mortred's one-sided crush on him goes nowhere but it's nice to have someone you can rely on, and heinrix is fond of him too. Tension begins with mortred getting more and more permissive with xenos (first with yrliet and the janus situation) and might reach a breaking point post-act 3 as mortred refuses to punish yrliet and keeps marazhai in his retinue while growing uncomfortably close to him. Idk how everything will unfold from there on because I have yet to start heinrix's personal quest but I'm thinking that somewhere down the line he'll dig up mortred's past and find out about senya's existence, which will put him in a spot where he has to decide between snitching to xavier or keeping his friend's secret
#got marazhai thoughts too but those will come later separately#esp since i wanna progress into act 4 before writing it down#mesa de bar

I suppose that would fit then...
But honestly, I don't think Xavier sent Heinrix to Theodora for her to kill him. Tanakia had been an undercover spy, Heinrix is very openly as Inquisition agent there.
Theodora even tells RT she was ordered to go to Rykad and although she was clearly not happy with it she was following Xavier's orders. She would have picked up Heinrix and brought to Footfall as ordered. But be pretty pissed once he would rejoin on Footfall (if Xavier would even have sent Heinrix back to Theodora. By then he knew she is dead and there is a new RT). I think then she would have done a lot to keep him on the ship (not accompanying her), monitored and for sure not going out of her way to help/save him.
With Argenta also on board I am not sure if she would have outright killed Heinrix, because then she would have to deal with Argenta too. If there was an opportunity to get rid of him where Argenta would not see it as murder by her, then sure.
Xavier says he wanted to keep Theodora and her heirs in his sight, just to be sure and for that had Heinrix assigned to her. And that Heinrix and RT fought against the cult and the Drukhari was helpful for him too.
Would Xavier sacrifice Heinrix? Of course, if it would help him. To keep his project secret, yes. But with Heinrix not informed and occupied he might also keep his valuable resource (not easy to find a capable biomancer) and follow through with his plan.
The Drukhari actually wanted to kill Heinrix to send a message to Xavier - this is why they stole Rykads sun when Heinrix was on the planet. How did they know he was there? Maybe just with their own spies but it could also have been by Xavier - letting them know not to steal this sun (he did tell them which suns to steal) while Heinrix was there. But this is just speculation as Xavier would know when Heinrix would be there and he would know that the Drukhari would steal this sun at some point. I can't really see him offering this information to the Drukhari, so maybe he just assumed it would not happen while Heinrix was on Rykad. If he wanted to get rid of Heinrix (maybe even Theodora as she was sent to get Heinrix from there) he could have sent him there on purpose of course.
But I don't see it - Xavier has an ambitious project running and he needs his resources. Heinrix said he was traveling and working alone in the Expanse - Xavier had him being separated from the rest of the acolytes for years. Why kill him now? He kept him out of his way this whole time and still had him doing his work, investigating the cult. Xavier does see the cult as dangerous. Killing off his people just in case seems to be just a waste of resources - unless they become dangerous - like Emelina.
With Emelina the issue was that she discovered something (that is still a bit strange to me - she thought Tanakia was interrogated and killed but she wasn't and over that Xavier sent her to her death?) and apparently he thought it was too dangerous to let her know and rather sent her off to die. I did wonder why he hadn't simply killed her (or asked someone to kill her) but he does mention he was kind of sentimental. Although killing her on the spot would have been kinder and seeing that she was even able to send a warning that Heinrix received, it was an unnecessary risk. I also think that Heinrix would have informed Xavier about Emelinas message, thinking that Xavier might not have received it or even asking if he was already sending someone to help her. Especially if RT is not directly on the way to get her. So Xavier would even know that Heinrix might find Emelina...
But aside from all of this - if you send Heinrix back to Xavier in act 2, he will be at his side in the end. So Xavier does not kill him or send him off somewhere else to die.
And Heinrix himself is also not a puritan at this point - he uses the corrupted cogitator to get information. He admits himself none of them are pure. RT can influence him to become a puritan or a radical - when we meet him he is actually on the way to become more like Xavier. For example - you need to push him 2 times to iconoclast/mercy - if you have 1:1 he will follow the harsh / ruthless way and then the way he himself deals with Emelina is heart-breakingly bad. Puritan/radical decision is based on a single dialog option - maybe just limited game resources, maybe it just takes a nudge for him to follow the one or the other.
It is interesting that Tanakia openly tells Heinrix he cares about his colleagues and then you have Xavier saying "his mathematical mind not given to sentiment". I mean, we know Heinrix, how is it possible Xavier doesn't? No way he doesn't. But seeing how Heinrix tries to harden himself I get the impression Xavier is pushing him to do this too, seeing it as weakness. So Heinrix with his empathy could be problematic for Xavier, unless he is hardened like he hopes to. But even then he isn't happy with Xavier's actions. There is no condition that I could see in toybox at the end (aside from Heinrix being there and having not been killed or going back to Xavier) that changes Heinrix behavior. As long as he was with RT, he is not happy with Xavier and will side with RT against him, being more loyal to RT than to Xavier. Unless he left RTs side and went back to Xavier.
Regarding sending Heinrix and RT to Kiava Gamma without backup. Well - RT is pretty powerful already (see Aurora on Rykad). I am not sure that counts as Xavier sending them to their death. Maybe just game mechanic reasons. Heinrix does admit he couldn't have done it himself but he wasn't alone, he had RT and the retinue with him (and while we run around with a few people RT does have a little army on the ship).
So, I think it is an interesting idea but I personally don't think it was planned from Xavier as suicide mission to get Heinrix killed - just out of the way - not out of sentimentality and no, surely not out of care, but to keep a valuable resource if possible. He can always kill him later if necessary.
@just-another-pigeon spotted that Heinrix's stay on the von Valancius ship very likely was a suicide mission. Check out the full post here, it's great. Here's an excerpt I'd like to comment on:
"Heinrix's assignment to von Valancius might be a suicide mission. Tanakia says Theodora would kill her if she rules her out as an Inquisition spy on her ship. Calcazar pulled her back in time, but sent Heinrix in afterwards."

64.media.tumblr.com
Calcazar obviously didn't want to jeopardise his plan because if some acolytes suddenly having a crisis of consciousness. So, he sent off both his puritan-ish acolytes (Emelina and Heinrix) to die and kept only the radicals or the fanatically loyal to him. Now he could proceed with the plan unimpeded.
Heinrix was supposed to take a stroll out of the airlock after Theodora’s very enthusiastic push. Emelina was sent to the middle of bumfuck that was likely to be invaded by Drukhari.
Calcazar admits it himself, but tries to frame it as "well, I didn't kill Emelina with my bare hands but rather sent her to die because I'm such a good chap." Most likely, he'd say something similar to Heinrix if he knew what Tanakia had told the party.

I think Heinrix is a clever boy. He surely connected the two dots.

Sure, Heinrix will say the same even if you haven't talked to Tanakia, but if you have, it fits so nicely: Calcazar didn't just hide the plan from him, no, he wanted him dead, just in case. After decades of loyal service. After being led to believe that he might be the heir. That must've been very illuminating indeed.

Rogue Trader - Act 4 - Heinrix romance - Date - love confession
In Heinrix date scene you can get him to confess his love for you - normally he would do this in his freeze romance scene after Euphrates II.
During the date you need to take the "Void.Take.You" option to get there (any of the three available options lead to it):
The dialog option "We have one life. I don't want to give all of mine to the Imperium with nothing left for myself. Do you? Do you actually want it?" gives you one corruption point (of required 3) if you try to get Heinrix to leave the inquisition later (at the freeze scene).
Please note: While it is called corruption point it does not allow Heinrix to stay with you if you go for a full heretic run.
You can also tell him that you love him (-> this line is only available if he confessed his love to you. If you did not take the Void.Take.You option to get his confession it is not available)

Rogue Trader - Act 4 - Heinrix + Guard difference (kill/spared) and corruption points
In the scene between Heinrix and the guard on Footfall the guard can survive or die depending on RTs dialog options and if you made Heinrix merciful or not.
There is also a check regarding the corruption points that affects the dialog options.
Guard alive/killed
You have three options when Heinrix attacks the guard.
"Heinrix, no! Stop!"
In this case Heinrix will not kill the guard.
Not sure if this is a bug or because I was playing around with toybox but I also do not see a condition for this dialog option to appear. Even when I hardened Heinrix via toybox (etude InterrogatorQuestEvilOutcome) I had this option available and the text said I made him merciful.
"Enough, Heinrix."
Here it depends on the Kiava Gamma quest outcome.
If he is merciful (etude InterrogatorQuestGoodOutcome), he will not kill the guard,
but if he was hardened (etude InterrogatorQuestEvilOutcome), he will kill the guard.
Silently wait what happens
If you select this, then even a merciful Heinrix will kill the guard.
Corruption point check
Depending on the corruption points you get a different dialog response from Heinrix.
With 2 or more points you get the following answer from him:

Act 4 - Heinrix 2nd romance scene - spoiler
This is about the "freeze" scene. I checked it again regarding the corruption counter. and possible additional/other dialog options.
Corruption points:
If you have between 3 and 4 points, you will get one additional dialog option "I want to help you. Just tell me how." to save Heinrix even without skill check.
It will also like the other two options with skill check then play the heresy etude which means additional dialog from Heinrix that he will leave the inquisition.
If you have less than 3 points, you get the normal etude where the dialog option is missing and the two skill check options do not feature the dialog about him leaving the inquisition.
Interestingly, according to toybox there should be other options there too where you can control if Heinrix will leave the inquisition or not even with all the corruption points. But I couldn't see them in game so maybe cut content?
"The imperium is not worth your life. Stay with me - we will be happy." -> Heinrix will leave the inquisition
2. "Don't throw away your life's work. We will find a way to be together - at least some of the time." -> Heinrix will not leave the inquisition
3. "You decide. I refuse to take on this responsibility." -> Heinrix will leave the inquisition
Additional dialog line for psykers
If you have a psy rating, you get an additional dialog line:

Noelle (Please note: I am not trying to make Theodora bad - I see her as a rational and strict person. Also, I thought it would be a short collection of thoughts but I ended up writing something like a short fanfic-ish thing. So I probably write my thoughts only about Noelle because, well, too much text. Sorry, Maarden, maybe I'll make another post about you).
I think that Theodora wouldn't actually need an Ecclesiarchy priest in her retinue, plus she wouldn't really like Noelle because they are too different: Noelle is too soft and merciful. Also, Theodora would see Noelle as another puritan trying to appeal to her conscience if she would do something "objectionable to the Imperium".
Noelle would've spent most of her time near medbay since she is a medic/sister of mercy, but from time to time (and if it is required) she would've been presented at the deck. She agreed to travel to von Valancuis voidship because she thoughts it is her duty to be there (since she is a relative of Theodora) and also the chaplan who was her superior gave her an advice to use this opportunity and blessed her. Deep inside she knew that traveling with the Rogue Trader could've opened many opportunities and show many new places, but on the other it could've crossed Noelle's believes.
Theodora would've liked to know Noelle's opinion on what to do with corrupted Rykad Minoris, but the final decision she would've maid herself and, I think, she would've agreed with Heinrix to execute Exterminatus, which would've caused an argue between two women in the end of which Theodora would've said something like "You've never seen true horrors of warp, sometimes you cannot save people if there is too much at stake. People like you die too young and too fast, so pull yourself together, otherwise I already have another candidate".
So, even though Noelle is a quiet, peaceful and non-conflict person, she could've not forgiven herself for letting thousands of people die. Noelle would've informed Theodora she has no more claim to the "throne of the Rogue Trader", she sees Edelthrad as the best choice possible and humbly asks to allow her to join Followers of Saint Drusus on Footfall (yes, it may sound like a decision made not ratinally and because of emotions, but, well, let's say Noelle is a person who can understand pretty quickly whether or not she can find a way to "communicate" with other people, and Theodora with her difficult temper, is the kind of person Noelle would like to avoid). Lord-captain would've decided she has no desire to chain Noelle, but the decision is unpleasant nonetheless: she would've allowed the priestess go. Since Heinrix had business on Footfall too, he, as a gentleman, volunteered to accompany Noelle (plus they would've spend some time on their way to the destination points together anyway). They would've had a conversation about different things (not about the decision Noelle made or something related to the recent events) and in the ende the priestess would've expressed her gratitude and a desire to meet and speak with the interrogator again if they both have a chance to meet (there is nothing romantical, but as I said above, Noelle can see people she can "communicate" and Heinrix is definitely one of them).
After finishing with all her deeds on Footfall, Theodora would've rethink her decision on Noelle: yes, "the girl" is too stuborn, too different, too soft, but at the same time she can provide different perspective on things and see and hear what Lord-captain cannot. It would be a positive and interesting esperience. Theodora would've said to Heinrix: "Since you a part of my retinue, I have an order for you, Master van Calox. Bring this stubborn girl back. I understand she may say "no" right away, hence I am sending you on this mission. You've spent some time with her on Footfall, you observed her on my ship and, moreover, you are the agent of the Inquisition. The best person who can read people like books and study them fast enought to find their weak points and peculiarities. I am sure you will suceed convincing her".
And so Heinrix would've gone to the Followers of Saint Drusus to learn Noelle is serving at something like an infirmary. They would've talked a little bit, Noelle would've been happy to see the interrogator, but they would've been interrupted: a couple of wounded people need help (Footfall is a criminal place, after all, and sometimes civilians may accidentally find themselves between fightning gangs - this is what happened here). Noelle would've quickly strated her work, giving orders (although all her "orders" she would accompany with "please") to her fellow medics, speaking softly and kindly to the injured making sure to calm them down as much as possible. Such view would've reminded Heinrix of his days in the Imperial Guard (althought the atmosphere there was different and no one would babysit wounded soldiers). I think such episode could've been one of the options to make Heinrix more merciful.
In the end the plan of Theodora would've worked and Noelle could've not say "no" to Heinrix, so... yes, at some point Noelle would've become a person who could work as "softener" and diplomat from time to time.
Hey Lord Captains! A question
If Theodora von Valancius was alive and well and there were no chain of events leading to Kunrad's betrayal and her death, who your RT would be in her retinue?
What their functionality could be as her heir and what kind of work could they perform aboard the von Valancius flagman? Their role?
I'm curious and want to see something 👀
Let's share some AUs!

I know Heinrix get's a lot of criticism for being Xavier's "faithful servant" (until a certain point) but there are several hints during the game that he is not just blindly following his master.
Like on Kiava Gamma if you made him more merciful and he is prepared to take it up with Xavier:
Even against Xavier's wishes he does warn the RT at the Magnae - more clearly when romanced (although even then it is very hard for him and he is already crossing lines) but a non romanced RT as well - as much as he can.
In act 3 he also talks (if romanced and asked about) that Xavier didn't care how he looked and only cared about his abilities. I think Heinrix sees quite clear that he is just a tool for Xavier and the Inquisition (but at this point he still sees nothing wrong with it):
And in act 4 on Footfall when he tries to get an audience with Xavier you can get this gem. This can happen even before you have the Emelina quest (although I think it makes more sense afterwards) and it is not tied to any condition (you don't have to make him merciful or have corruption points with him to get this dialog):
If you have corruption points (2) with him, he also reflects on how his behavior is similar to Xavier and he doesn't like it:

Rogue Trader - Heinrix romance - flirting differences (devil vs. closeness)
With Heinrix you can either flirt aggressively with him which will increase the "devil" counter or you are doing no or very light flirting which will increase the "closeness" counter. This affects in some cases his dialog.
Act 1 - First talk after he is recruited
Devil:
Two options for Devil - one at the start and one later. Both start the romance. The second one ("A little more..." excludes the closeness option.
Closeness:
Starts the romance. This option excludes the devil option "A little more...."
You can also start his romance by talking to him on the bridge after his recruitment. Both options start his romance but doesn't seem to count for the devil or closeness counter.
2. Act 2 - Footfall, when Heinrix returns (at the docks)
Both options can be taken, they do not exclude each other.
Devil:
Closeness:
3. Act 2 - Janus after dealing with the Governor / end of main quest
Devil:
With 3 devil points (or more) before starting the talk you get another response from him:
After this devil option there is another one available (excludes the closeness and corruption point options)
Closeness:
This option exludes the devil and corruption point options
There is also an option to increase his corruption counter (if you want him to leave the inquisition). It does not increase devil/closeness counters.
3. Act 2 - Conversation after his personal quest (in Kiava Gamma) is finished
Devil:
This line excludes the closeness option on top ("You can relate of course..."
The question regarding his romantic preferences has two versions.
If you have less than 3 devil points you get this answer:
If you have at least 3 devil points you get this one:
If you move to the regicide board you have additional options.
This one exludes the other two options that allow you to play regicide with him - so if you take this line you won't be able to do that unfortuantely.
If you have 4 or more devil points you can get a different ending talk with him for this scene (also works with "Running away, are you?")
Closeness:
First dialog option ("You can relate...") counts as closeness and unlocks other dialog for the second closeness option
The "Tell me a secret" line counts as closeness and the answer depends on if you took the first closeness option (in this case you get +2 closeness points)
or not (and you get only + 1 closeness point)
Another closeness option hides behind the question for his favourite food - if you use the smile option it increases the closeness counter
At the regicide board you can have a different ending dialog with him if you have at least 4 closeness points with him:
4. Act 2 - Dragonus ceremony talk
Devil:
Excludes the closeness option
And here seems to be a bug - kissing Heinrix does not increase the devil counter as one would expect, but instead holding his hands:
Closeness:
Excludes the first devil option
5. Act 3 - Start talking with him on the bridge about what happened at the ceremony
Devil:
There are only two devil responses here - I think this is another bug.
I will update this post if I find more, but the later (romance) scenes with him doesn't really seem to use the devil/closeness counters anymore.
Addition
-> You can use the toybox mod (on PC) to check the devil/closeness counters and to change them (or for other things, like seeing dialog options even if you do not meet the criteria or reset your skill points...)
(Mod on Nexusmods), install as instructed.
In game e.g. during dialog press CTRL + F10
For the devil/closeness counters go to "Search 'n Pick" tab and on the left side to "Flags". You can search for "Heinrix_R" to show his romance flags and change the values (don't forget to save before closing the toybox screen)
