South Korea Retains Position in MSCI Emerging Markets Index, Addressing Market Accessibility Concerns
South Korea's position in the MSCI Emerging Markets Index has been confirmed, with the recent announcement stating that it will remain one of the 24 members of the MSCI Emerging index. This decision comes after MSCI highlighted market accessibility concerns and identified nine specific issues that South Korea still needs to address. Despite these challenges, South Korea's inclusion in the index emphasizes its significance within the emerging markets and provides valuable insights into the country's investment opportunities.
South Korea's ongoing efforts to attain developed-market status in MSCI's prestigious global index have encountered a delay. Following its annual review, MSCI Inc., the prominent index provider, has decided to maintain South Korea's position in its list of emerging markets. This decision, driven by concerns over market accessibility, presents an opportunity for South Korea to address these issues and further enhance its appeal to foreign investors. i figure most human behaviour that, not only doesn’t occur in other animals but has zero connection to animal behavior is basically distantly rooted in the known fear of inevitable death. let me be clear. cats and shit don’t know they’re gonna die. we do. we have thoughts. we know it’s coming. we think we’re gonna be rich, bullshit like that, most humans believe in magic and most humans doubt that math is a universal or consistent thing. total nonsense right. but everyone knows their ass is gonna die. before you write me off as some dumbass reciting basic 101 level university lectures just Trust Me I’m An Engineer. anyways. being human and dying are somewhat one in the same.
“if i do nonhuman things i can cheat the reaper.” short and sweet. if i can beat zelda faster than anyone i can outrun the reaper. and you know what, fuck it, i’m scared shitless of dying. it’s gonna hurt really bad no doubt. what if the brain destroyal process makes time slow down in my perception and it’s not just like five seconds of bleeding out or fire ant bites or however you go. Scary. so i’ll play along:
i am an average american man and i enjoy bad game runescape. it’s a computer game. MMO. kill monster get loot. sell what i don’t want to other players for gold. spamming chat with “SELLING BOWSTRINGS 200gp” for an hour “sucks” so the devs add a grand exchange where you can post buy/sell orders for a given item+price to maximize gameplay efficiency and minimize social interaction.
like any other MMO you can pay some sketchy website real money for ingame gold farmer by chinese gold farmers. totally against the rules. remember this
so the first thing that comes to any male aged 23-27 mind is “buy low sell high” basic bitch shit. no good. there’s a 5% tax that’ll wipe out your profit margin intended to eliminate this behavior (you’re supposed to friggen kill monsters). but everyone thinks they’re a genius and can beat the system and that there is a secret george soros style illuminati group that is holding the secrets, blah blah blah, whatever, and this comes as a coping mechanism after losing your shirt after trying to beat the market (success rate of 0%).
here is where people mostly quit thinking: if you do the math, which takes about ten minutes and can be done on one side of a sheet of paper with the most basic calculator, it’s easy to figure out that the amount of gold you’d need to play dirty (buy out all the available Feathers or Fire Runes or whatever) in order to corner the market would be so high that there is no possible way for a character to hold that much without having spent IRL money for gold. you’d get autobanned.
SO..finally, go on the ol’ www.reddit.com, and make a really really professional-to-professional sounding post advertising a “service”. Saturate the fuck out of it with dense but very real financial jargon. the “service” (which needs to be obscured enough with plausible and relevant language) is a hedging service aimed at make-believe market players who are buying and selling such huge amounts of items and gold (usually in anticipation of a game update that will speculatively introduce a sudden, dramatic, and capitalizable price change for some item). you need it to be as alien-sounding and foreign as possible but with enough believability and clarity that a handful of reddit jackasses will figure out what the fuck your post is about. whenever pressed further, act totally puzzled and make it very clear that this is not a service relevant to “individual entertainment-motivated” players or some shit. no matter what amount of gold anyone quotes at you, just act puzzled and if that amount is 1/1000th the amount one of your “normal” clients deal with. you need to do all of this extremely artfully. and by “you”, i’ve been meaning to write “me”. really lay it on thick that whatever you’re “doing” is totally unavailable to them and that you want zero to do with them.
so now theyre still mostly totally confused but enough is made clear that their interest is piqued. got my hook in em. some guy will copy/paste wikipedia shit in an obnoxiously long and pseudointellectual, contemptible but characteristically reddit guy style what you’re “selling” actually is in the most exhausting, hand-holdingest way to his fellow reddit gamers. with complete tone of authority.
inevitably one of them will put on their sherlock holmes hat and go deep undercover, emailing me posing as an interested party. bingo. now i get to really lay on the WTF and go off the rails asking about vouchers from One Of The Big Seven, but oh no, you can’t get one of them to vouch for you, that’s fine, it makes sense, we’re the only firm that deals with unvouched, that’s our market, well, one of them at least. Just give me a rough rundown of your entry criteria, dwell time, risk tolerance, fuckin “Gamma Ratio”, you know, all the basic stuff, and i’ll have the team generate a .xlsx for you to plug your data into to get a rough feel for what the final contract might be like.
(lololol) But REMEMBER, that excel sheet is seeded, output is fuzzed and salted and if you share it or try and sell it to our competitors, it will be fuzzy enough to be worthless to them but obvious to us who leaked what. this is the only way we’re able to integrate unvouched clients without untenable premiums and while managing our risk levels
blah blah blah blah, i go on and on and on and the guy on the other end is developing a scab from constant head-scratching. and that’s about the maximum real-world harm i’m willing to inflict. i know this sounds like an elaborate as fuck confidence scam but it isn’t. that shit makes me sick. i’d literally slam my arms in a car door before taking a cent from all this. hell, i’ll go out of my way to guarantee i don’t even piss anyone off or offend them or anything.
your guess is as good as mine but i do stuff like this constantly for anything i know well enough and the example i gave above is just a pretty low quality one i made up on the spot. this is a public blog after all.
anyways, cheers, hoping this saves me from dying or whatever the hell i was talking about before that could have probably been cut out. Namaste. Mahala.

Part 3
Part 2 Part 4
Prince x Fem Reader
Title: "Changing the Fate of the Third Prince"
I had always believed my mission was simple: get close to Rafael, change the future, and save my family. But somewhere along the way, things had become more complicated. My feelings for Rafael had shifted from friendship to something deeper, something I wasn’t ready to admit even to myself.
I tried to hide it, pushing the emotions down each time I saw Rafael smile at me or heard his voice soften when we spoke. But with each passing day, it became harder to ignore. I told myself that it didn’t matter how I felt, that this was just a part of my plan to change the novel’s ending. Yet, I couldn’t shake the warmth that filled me every time I was with him.
Everything changed when the delegation from the neighboring kingdom arrived.
Among the representatives was a princess named Seraphina. She was beautiful, elegant, and from what I remembered of the novel, she would be Rafael’s partner in rebellion. In the story, it was Seraphina who had helped Rafael gather support from foreign powers for his coup. In the end, she became his empress.
The moment I saw her, my heart sank. The novel had never fully explained the reasons behind Rafael’s rebellion, but I couldn’t help but wonder if Seraphina was the key. Perhaps she had manipulated him, stoking the flames of his discontent.
I became obsessed with watching her, convinced that she was a danger to everything I had worked for. During the royal festivities, I kept my distance, silently observing her interactions. She seemed harmless enough at first—polite and kind, nothing like the instigator I had imagined. But I wasn’t ready to lower my guard.
For days, I followed Seraphina from a distance, shadowing her every move. I watched as she spoke with various nobles, laughed with the court ladies, and exchanged pleasantries with Rafael’s family. But nothing about her behavior seemed suspicious. In fact, she appeared to be quite well-liked.
Then, one evening, while walking through the palace gardens, I saw it. Seraphina and Rafael, sitting together under a large tree, speaking casually. My heart lurched in my chest.
They were alone, and from the way they spoke, they seemed... close. Too close.
I tried to shake off the uneasy feeling that was building inside me. Perhaps it was nothing, just a formal conversation between two royals. But when I saw Rafael smile—a smile that seemed softer, more genuine—I froze.
Had I been wrong all along? Had Rafael and Seraphina been growing closer without my knowing?
I crept closer, hiding behind a hedge so I could overhear their conversation. Rafael’s voice was calm, but warm, and I heard him chuckle lightly at something Seraphina said. My chest tightened painfully.
“You seem different from the stories I’ve heard,” Seraphina said, her voice soft but clear. “I expected someone cold, but you’re... quite kind.”
Rafael laughed, a sound that made my stomach twist. “I suppose you’ve been talking to my brothers,” he replied. “They’re the ones who spread such tales.”
They were talking so easily, as if they had known each other for years. I clenched my fists, unsure of why it bothered me so much. Shouldn’t I be happy that Rafael was forming a bond with someone else? Someone who could take the burden of his future off my shoulders?
And yet, it hurt. It hurt to watch them like this, knowing that Rafael could smile for someone else the way he smiled for me.
“I’ve heard about your plans,” Seraphina said, lowering her voice. “What are you going to do when...”
I didn’t stay to hear the rest. The moment she mentioned ‘plans,’ my heart leapt into my throat. It must have been true—she was the one who would help him rebel.
Without thinking, I fled the scene, my footsteps quick and silent. I couldn’t bear to watch any longer. My mind raced with thoughts of the novel, of the betrayal I had just witnessed. Perhaps everything I had done had been for nothing. Perhaps Rafael was destined to follow the same path no matter what I did.
That night, I returned to Selina’s home and shut myself in my room, barely responding to her greeting. My mind was spinning with questions and doubts. Had I been naive to think I could change anything? Was this the moment the novel’s fate would start to unfold? And why, despite everything, did I feel so much jealousy?
***
The next day, I tried to brush off my unease. It was just a misunderstanding, I told myself. There was no proof that Rafael and Seraphina were conspiring together. Besides, even if they were close, it didn’t mean they were working towards rebellion. I needed to stay focused on my original goal: prevent Rafael from becoming a tyrant.
But as I made my way to the library for my usual reading session with Rafael, my heart felt heavy with dread.
When I arrived, I paused at the entrance. Inside, I could see Rafael seated at one of the large oak tables, his back to me. Sitting across from him, with a bright smile on her face, was Seraphina.
They were laughing. Laughing and speaking in low tones that I couldn’t quite make out from where I stood.
My chest tightened again, and I suddenly found it hard to breathe. I felt as if someone had reached into my chest and squeezed my heart, making it impossible to think straight. I took a step back, my hands trembling. This feeling... it was so much stronger than I expected.
I knew I had no right to feel jealous. Rafael wasn’t mine. He never had been. I was simply someone who had come into his life to change the course of the future. That was all.
But seeing them together like this, laughing and sharing something I couldn’t understand... it hurt more than I could admit.
Before either of them noticed me, I turned and left the library. My footsteps echoed in the silent halls as I hurried back to Selina’s house, trying to hold back the tears that threatened to spill.
When I arrived, Selina greeted me warmly as usual, but I barely managed a nod before retreating to my room. I didn’t want to talk. I didn’t want to explain the confusing mess of emotions swirling inside me. All I wanted was to escape from the pain that seemed to be tearing me apart.
Lying in bed, I stared at the ceiling, my mind filled with thoughts of Rafael and Seraphina. Was this it? Was this the moment when the future would shift out of my control? Had I misjudged everything?
I tried to tell myself that this was a good thing. If Rafael was close to Seraphina, then perhaps he wouldn’t feel the need to rebel. Perhaps the novel’s ending could be avoided without my intervention.
But deep down, I knew the truth. The pain I felt wasn’t just fear for the future—it was the realization that I had fallen for Rafael. And I couldn’t stand the thought of losing him, not to the rebellion, not to Seraphina, and not to the tragic fate the novel had written for him.
But no matter how much it hurt, I had to remind myself that I didn’t have the right to be jealous. Rafael wasn’t mine. He had his own life, his own choices. And I had to let him make them, even if it meant walking away.

Gross national product (GNP) GNP is related to another important economic measure called gross domestic product (GDP), which takes into account all output produced within a country's borders regardless of who owns the means of production. GNP starts with GDP, adds residents' investment income from overseas investments, and subtracts foreign residents' investment income earned within a country. Whilst GDP measures the total value of goods and services produced within a country's borders, GNP focuses on the income generated by its residents, regardless of their location.
Gross National Income (GNI) is the total amount of money earned by a nation's people and businesses. It is used to measure and track a nation's wealth from year to year. The number includes the nation's gross domestic product (GDP) plus the income it receives from overseas sources.

Supporting Striker (Inverted Winger)
Central Winger (False 10)
Overlapping Run/Defensive Winger (Half-winger)
An inverted winger is a modern tactical development of the traditional winger position. Most wingers are assigned to either side of the field based on their footedness, with right-footed players on the right and left-footed players on the left.[65] This assumes that assigning a player to their natural side ensures a more powerful cross as well as greater ball protection along the touch-lines. However, when the position is inverted and a winger instead plays inside-out on the opposite flank (i.e., a right-footed player as a left inverted winger), they effectively become supporting strikers and primarily assume a role in the attack.[66]
The "false 10" or "central winger"[55] is a type of midfielder, which differs from the trequartista. Much like the "false 9", their specificity lies in the fact that, although they seemingly play as an attacking midfielder on paper, unlike a traditional playmaker who stays behind the striker in the centre of the pitch, the false 10's goal is to move out of position and drift wide when in possession of the ball to help both the wingers and fullbacks to overload the flanks. This means two problems for the opposing midfielders: either they let the false 10 drift wide, and their presence, along with both the winger and the fullback, creates a three-on-two player advantage out wide; or they follow the false 10, but leave space in the centre of the pitch for wingers or onrushing midfielders to exploit. False 10s are usually traditional wingers who are told to play in the centre of the pitch, and their natural way of playing makes them drift wide and look to provide deliveries into the box for teammates.
In Italian football, the term mezzala (literally "half-winger" in Italian) is used to describe the position of the one or two central midfielders who play on either side of a holding midfielder and/or playmaker. The term was initially applied to the role of an inside forward in the WM and Metodo formations in Italian, but later described a specific type of central midfielder. The mezzala is often a quick and hard-working attack-minded midfielder, with good skills and noted offensive capabilities, as well as a tendency to make overlapping attacking runs, but also a player who participates in the defensive aspect of the game, and who can give width to a team by drifting out wide; as such, the term can be applied to several different roles.
On occasion, the false-10 can also function in a different manner alongside a false-9, usually in a 4–6–0 formation. Midfield collective of False 9, False 10, Box to Box, Holding, Half Winger, Attacking, Defensive. We are not stretching the defensive line itsself, but the space between the defensive line and the goalkeeper.
Thiago Motta’s ‘Super Offensive’ 2-7-2 Formation Explained: Instead of the traditional way of looking at a tactical set-up horizontally, the Brazil-born manager instead split the field into three vertical lanes. This means he effectively has seven players in the central channel with two players out wide on each flank.

Go Go Music Influenced, Eurphoric Trance Chord Progression Melody, Progressive House and Drum n' Bass Percussion-808 Call and Response Staccato Polyrhythm or Layered Kick and Punch 808.
In his 1972 study of French lute music, scholar Wallace Rave compiled a list of features he believed to be characteristic of style brisé. Rave's list included the following: the avoidance of textural pattern and regularity in part writing; arpeggiated chord textures with irregular distribution of individual notes of the chord; ambiguous melodic lines; rhythmic displacement of notes within a melodic line; octave changes within melodic line; irregular phrase lengths.
Have the Snare and Kick say, "Hi, How are you?" And the 808 say, "I am good thanks for asking.”
Use progressive House to push the Drums Conversation to either Fast and Punchy for Happy or Slow and Deep for Sad.
In technical terms, "go-go's essential beat is characterized by a five through four syncopated rhythm that is underscored prominently by the bass drum and snare drum, and the hi-hat... [and] is ornamented by the other percussion instruments, especially by the conga drums, rototoms, and hand-held cowbells."[5]
Polyrhythm: In music, a cross-beat or cross-rhythm is a specific form of polyrhythm. The term cross rhythm was introduced in 1934 by the musicologist Arthur Morris Jones (1889–1980). It refers to a situation where the rhythmic conflict found in polyrhythms is the basis of an entire musical piece.[1]
Four-on-the-floor (or four-to-the-floor) is a rhythm used primarily in dance genres such as disco and electronic dance music. It is a steady, uniformly accented beat in 4. 4 time in which the bass drum is hit on every beat (1, 2, 3, 4).[1] This was popularized in the disco music of the 1970s[2] and the term four-on-the-floor was widely used in that era, since the beat was played with the pedal-operated, drum-kit bass drum.[3][4] (Punch 808-Kick)
Polyrhythm 4 on the Floor examples 2:4 or 5:4
Hard trance is often characterized by strong, hard (or even downpitch) kicks, fully resonant basses and an increased amount of reverberation applied to the main beat. Melodies vary from 140 to 180 BPMs and it can feature plain instrumental sound in early compositions, with the latter ones tending to implement side-chaining techniques of progressive on digital synthesizers.

Commercial art is art created for advertising or marketing purposes. Commercial artists are hired by clients to create images and logos that sell products. Unlike works of fine art that convey an artist's personal expression, commercial art must address the client's goals.
The word 'Commercial' is defined as follows: Concerned with or engaged in commerce. Commerce is the exchange of goods or services among two or more parties.
Craftsmen are committed to the medium, not to self-expression. Artists are committed to their self-expression, not the medium.
A medium of exchange is an intermediary instrument and system used to facilitate the purchase and sale of goods and services between parties.

IMPERIALISM, THE HIGHEST STAGE OF CAPITALISM
Imperialism, the Highest Stage of Capitalism,[1] originally published as Imperialism, the Newest Stage of Capitalism,[2][3] is a book written by Vladimir Lenin in 1916 and published in 1917. It describes the formation of oligopoly, by the interlacing of bank and industrial capital, in order to create a financial oligarchy, and explains the function of financial capital in generating profits from the exploitation colonialism inherent to imperialism, as the final stage of capitalism. The essay synthesises Lenin's developments of Karl Marx's theories of political economy in Das Kapital (1867).[4]

A clay-court specialist is a tennis player who excels on clay courts, more than on any other surface.
Due in part to advances in racquet technology, current clay-court specialists are known for employing long, winding groundstrokes that generate heavy topspin; such strokes are less effective on faster surfaces on which the balls do not bounce as high. Clay-court specialists tend to slide more effectively on clay than other players. Many of them are also very adept at hitting the drop shot, which can be effective because rallies on clay courts often leave players pushed far beyond the baseline. Additionally, the slow, long rallies require a great degree of mental focus and physical stamina.
CASAPIANOS MARTYROLOGY ORDER (CATHOLIC COUNTER-REFORMATION)
The Casa Pia is a Portuguese institution founded by Maria I, known as A Pia ("Mary the Pious"), and organized by Police Intendant Pina Manique in 1780, following the social disarray of the 1755 Lisbon earthquake. For almost three centuries, thousands of young boys and girls were raised by Casa Pia, including many public personalities, called casapianos. Casa Pia is Portugal's largest educational institution dedicated to helping youngsters in risk of social exclusion or without parental support. The organisation is composed of ten schools and enrolls approximately 4700 students. In addition to standard schooling, the organisation also provides boarding for children in need. It strives to enable these youngsters to become healthy and successful members of society, by developing intellectual, manual, and physical traits, in an environment promoting spiritual, moral, and religious values. The institution is proud to have had amongst its students many outstanding Portuguese personalities, including politicians, journalists, and artists. A martyrology is a catalogue or list of martyrs and other saints and beati arranged in the calendar order of their anniversaries or feasts. Local martyrologies record exclusively the custom of a particular Church. Local lists were enriched by names borrowed from neighbouring churches.[1] Consolidation occurred, by the combination of several local martyrologies, with or without borrowings from literary sources.
The Canons Regular of St. Augustine are priests who live in community under a rule (Latin: regula and κανών, kanon, in Greek) and are generally organised into religious orders, differing from both secular canons and other forms of religious life, such as clerics regular, designated by a partly similar terminology. As religious communities, they have laybrothers as part of the community.
Clerics regular are clerics (mostly priests) who are members of a religious order under a rule of life (regular). Clerics regular differ from canons regular in that they devote themselves more to pastoral care, in place of an obligation to the praying of the Liturgy of the Hours in common, and have fewer observances in their rule of life.
Lay brother is a largely extinct term referring to religious brothers, particularly in the Catholic Church, who focused upon manual service and secular matters, and were distinguished from choir monks or friars in that they did not pray in choir, and from clerics, in that they were not in possession of (or preparing for) holy orders.[1][2][3][4][5]
In female religious institutes, the equivalent role is the lay sister. Lay brothers were originally created to allow those who were skilled in particular crafts or did not have the required education to study for holy orders to participate in and contribute to the life of a religious order.
Lay brothers were found in many religious orders. Drawn from the working classes, they were pious and hardworking people, who though unable to achieve the education needed to receive holy orders, were still drawn to religious life and were able to contribute to the order through their skills. Some were skilled in artistic handicrafts, others functioned as administrators of the orders' material assets. In particular, the lay brothers of the Cistercians were skilled in agriculture, and have been credited for the tilling of fertile farmland.[1]
Lay sisters were found in most of the orders of women, and their origin, like that of the lay brothers, is to be found in the necessity of providing the choir nuns with more time for the Office and study, as well as creating the opportunity for the illiterate to join the religious life. They, too, wore a habit different from those of the choir sisters, and their required daily prayers consisted of prayers such as the Little Office or a certain number of Paters.[1]
All canons regular are to be distinguished from secular canons who belong to a resident group of priests but who do not take public vows and are not governed in whatever elements of life they lead in common by a historical rule. One obvious place where such groups of priests are required is at a cathedral, where there were many Masses to celebrate and the Divine Office to be prayed together in community.
In modern astrology, Mars is the primary native ruler of the first house. Traditionally however, Mars ruled both the third and tenth houses, and had its joy in the fifth house. While Venus tends to the overall relationship atmosphere, Mars is the passionate impulse and action, the masculine aspect, discipline, willpower and stamina.
Mars rules over Tuesday and in Romance languages the word for Tuesday often resembles Mars (in Romanian, marți, in Spanish, martes, in French, mardi and in Italian "martedì"). The English "Tuesday" is a modernised form of "Tyr's Day", Tyr being the Germanic analogue to Mars. Dante Alighieri associated Mars with the liberal art of arithmetic. In Chinese astrology, Mars is ruled by the element fire, which is passionate, energetic and adventurous.
According to John Clements, the term martial arts itself is derived from an older Latin term meaning "arts of Mars", the Roman god of war, and was used to refer to the combat systems of Europe (European martial arts) as early as the 1550s
A religious congregation is a type of religious institute in the Catholic Church. They are legally distinguished from religious orders – the other major type of religious institute – in that members take simple vows, whereas members of religious orders take solemn vows.
In the Catholic Church, a religious order is a community of consecrated life with members that profess solemn vows. They are classed as a type of religious institute.[1]

Material religion is a framework used by scholars of religion to examine the interaction between religion and material culture. It focuses on the place of objects, images, spaces, and buildings in religious communities. The framework has been promoted by scholars such as Birgit Meyer, Sally Promey, S. Brent Plate, David Morgan, etc.
Physiocracy (French: physiocratie; from the Greek for "government of nature") is an economic theory developed by a group of 18th-century Age of Enlightenment French economists who believed that the wealth of nations derived solely from the value of "land agriculture" or "land development" and that agricultural products should be highly priced.[1] Their theories originated in France and were most popular during the second half of the 18th century. Physiocracy became one of the first well-developed theories of economics.
The Bible typically describes the Heavenly host as being made up of angels, and gives several descriptions of angels in military terms, such as their encampment (Genesis 32:1–2), command structure (Psalms 91:11–12; Matt.13:41; Rev.7:2), and participation in combat (Job 19:12; Rev.12:7). Other passages indicate other entities make up the divine army, namely stars (Judges 5:20, Isaiah 40:26).[1][full citation needed] In Christian theology, the heavenly host participate in the war in Heaven.
The doctrine or theory of immanence holds that the divine encompasses or is manifested in the material world. It is held by some philosophical and metaphysical theories of divine presence. Immanence is usually applied in monotheistic, pantheistic, pandeistic, or panentheistic faiths to suggest that the spiritual world permeates the mundane.
The Dionysian Mysteries were a ritual of ancient Greece and Rome which sometimes used intoxicants and other trance-inducing techniques (like dance and music) to remove inhibitions and social constraints, liberating the individual to return to a natural state.
Religious nationalism can be understood in a number of ways, such as nationalism as a religion itself, a position articulated by Carlton Hayes in his text Nationalism: A Religion, or as the relationship of nationalism to a particular religious belief, dogma, ideology, or affiliation. This relationship can be broken down into two aspects: the politicisation of religion and the influence of religion on politics.
Dioceses ruled by an archbishop are commonly referred to as archdioceses; most are metropolitan sees, being placed at the head of an ecclesiastical province. In the Catholic Church, some are suffragans of a metropolitan see or are directly subject to the Holy See.
The body of light, sometimes called the 'astral body'[a] or the 'subtle body,'[b] is a "quasi material"[1] aspect of the human body, being neither solely physical nor solely spiritual, posited by a number of philosophers, and elaborated on according to various esoteric, occult, and mystical teachings. Other terms used for this body include body of glory,[2] spirit-body, luciform body, augoeides ('radiant body'), astroeides ('starry or sidereal body'), and celestial body.[3] The concept derives from the philosophy of Plato: the word 'astral' means 'of the stars'; thus the astral plane consists of the Seven Heavens of the classical planets. The idea is rooted in common worldwide religious accounts of the afterlife[4] in which the soul's journey or "ascent" is described in such terms as "an ecstatic, mystical or out-of body experience, wherein the spiritual traveller leaves the physical body and travels in their body of light into 'higher' realms."[5]
The canon law of the Catholic Church (from Latin ius canonicum[1]) is "how the Church organizes and governs herself".[2] It is the system of laws and ecclesiastical legal principles made and enforced by the hierarchical authorities of the Catholic Church to regulate its external organization and government and to order and direct the activities of Catholics toward the mission of the Church.
An institute of consecrated life is an association of faithful in the Catholic Church canonically erected by competent church authorities to enable men or women who publicly profess the evangelical counsels by religious vows or other sacred bonds "through the charity to which these counsels lead to be joined to the Church and its mystery in a special way".[1] They are defined in the 1983 Code of Canon Law under canons 573–730. The Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life has ecclesial oversight of institutes of consecrated life.[2]
In Christianity, the three evangelical counsels, or counsels of perfection, are chastity (NEVER), poverty (or perfect charity), and obedience (RECKLESS ABANDONMENT).[1] As stated by Jesus in the canonical gospels,[2] they are counsels for those who desire to become "perfect" (τελειος, teleios).[3][4] The Catholic Church interprets this to mean that they are not binding upon all, and hence not necessary conditions to attain eternal life (heaven), but that they are "acts of supererogation", "over and above" the minimum stipulated in the biblical commandments.[5][6]
Catholics who have made a public profession to order their lives by the evangelical counsels, and confirmed this by public vows before their competent church authority (the act of religious commitment known as a profession), are recognised as members of the consecrated life.
The Council of Trent (Latin: Concilium Tridentinum), held between 1545 and 1563 in Trent (or Trento), now in northern Italy, was the 19th ecumenical council of the Catholic Church. Prompted by the Protestant Reformation at the time, it has been described as the embodiment of the Counter-Reformation. The Council issued key statements and clarifications of the Church's doctrine and teachings, including scripture, the biblical canon, sacred tradition, original sin, justification, salvation, the sacraments, the Mass, and the veneration of saints[4] and also issued condemnations of what it defined to be heresies committed by proponents of Protestantism. The consequences of the Council were also significant with regard to the Church's liturgy and censorship.
Initiated in part to address the challenges of the Protestant Reformations,[3] the Counter-Reformation was a comprehensive effort arising from the decrees of the Council of Trent. The effort produced apologetic and polemical documents, heresy trials, anti-corruption efforts, spiritual movements, the promotion of new religious orders, and the flourishing of new art and musical styles.
Tradwave is a Catholic artistic style using synthwave and vaporwave art to promote traditional catholicism. Tradwave usually uses traditional catholic paintings, sculptures, or photographs of saints, given with vaporwave effects, often with a bible verse or quote about catholicism. The art usually tries to convey a resurrection of catholic spirituality in the modern atheist world. Figures often depicted in Tradwave art include Jesus Christ, the Virgin Mary, Ven. Fulton Sheen, Cardinal Robert Sarah, and Mother Angelica.
Tradwave music often takes the form of two main styles. One of them is catholic hymns with vaporwave effects and traditional Vaporwave/Lo-Fi music. It can also have quotes from modern prolific Catholic figures, such as Ven. The other theme is Fulton Sheen and Cardinal Robert Sarah.
Heavenly Virtues: Another phrase to describe this obedience to the voice is “reckless abandon.” It simply means that we let God do what God wants to do through us. It means if He tells us to do something or say something—we do it.
Intercession or intercessory prayer is the act of praying to a deity on behalf of others, or asking a saint in heaven to pray on behalf of oneself or for others. Intercession of the Saints is a Christian doctrine that maintains that saints can intercede for others. To intercede is to go or come between two parties, to plead before one of them on behalf of the other. In ecclesiastical usage both words are taken in the sense of the intervention primarily of Christ, and secondarily of the Blessed Virgin and the angels and saints, on behalf of men.[2] The doctrine is held by the Catholic, Eastern Orthodox Churches, the Assyrian Church of the East, the Oriental Orthodox churches , and some Lutherans and Anglicans (chiefly those of Evangelical Catholic or Anglo-Catholic churchmanship, respectively).[3] The practice of asking saints for their intercession can be found in Christian writings from the 3rd century onwards.[4][5][6] Catholic doctrine supports intercessory prayer to saints. This practice is an application of the doctrine of the Communion of saints. Some of the early basis for this was the belief that martyrs passed immediately into the presence of God and could obtain graces and blessings for others, which naturally and immediately led to their direct invocation. A further reinforcement was derived from the cult of the angels which, while pre-Christian in its origin, was heartily embraced by the faithful of the sub-Apostolic age. The doctrine of intercession and invocation was set forth by the Council of Trent, which teaches that "... the saints who reign together with Christ offer up their own prayers to God for men. It is good and useful suppliantly to invoke them, and to have recourse to their prayers, aid, and help for obtaining benefits from God, through His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, Who alone is our Redeemer and Saviour".[10] Intercessory prayer to saintly persons who have not yet been beatified can also practiced by individuals, and evidence of miracles produced as a result of such prayer is very commonly produced during the formal process of beatification and canonization.
In short, the gun-toting angel was a multifaceted metaphor. “It undoubtedly also reflected the Catholic Counter-Reformation militaristic rhetoric,” wrote Donahue-Wallace, “which promoted the church as an army and heavenly beings as its soldiers.” These "Harquebusier Angels" or "Arcabuceros" are full-length depictions of winged angels, elaborately dressed, and carrying matchlock guns (harquebuses).
The related term astrolatry usually implies polytheism. In anthropological literature these systems of practice may be referred to as astral cults.
A friar is a member of one of the mendicant orders in the Roman Catholic Church. There are also friars outside of the Roman Catholic Church, such as within the Anglican Communion. The term, first used in the 12th or 13th century, distinguishes the mendicants' itinerant apostolic character, exercised broadly under the jurisdiction of a superior general, from the older monastic orders' allegiance to a single monastery formalized by their vow of stability. A friar may be in holy orders or be a non-ordained brother. The most significant orders of friars are the Dominicans, Franciscans, Augustinians, and Carmelites.[1]
Romans 8:31; Exploring Biblical Imagery is one of the most important keys to interpreting and gaining a deeper understanding of the Bible. The Bible often communicates truth to us through images and patterns.
Throughout history, armed priests or soldier priests have been recorded. Distinguished from military chaplains, who are non-combatants that provided spiritual guidance to service personnel and associated civilians, these priests took up arms and fought in conflicts as combatants. The term warrior priests or war priests is usually used for armed priests in Antiquity and the Middle Ages, and of historical tribes.
Slang: In Romans 8:5-8, Paul presents a compelling contrast between living according to the flesh and living according to the Spirit. The flesh, with its disordered desires and rebellion against God, leads only to spiritual desolation. Martyr, one who voluntarily suffers death rather than deny their religion by words or deeds; such action is afforded special, institutionalized recognition in most major religions of the world. The term may also refer to anyone who sacrifices their life or something of great value for the sake of principle. A religious allusion is a brief reference to a person, event, place, or phrase from religious texts or traditions, without describing them in detail. 5 Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. 6 The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. 7 The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. 8 Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God. Martyr/Romans 8 Allusion Slang.
Romeu e Julieta (Casapianos Order 1996 Adaptation 18+ Romance Thriller)
While it retains the original Shakespearean dialogue, the film represents the Montagues and the Capulets as warring mafia empires (with legitimate business fronts) and the Capulets were "a Latin family, sort of,"[15] played by Latin-American and Italian actors.[16] It is set in contemporary United States, where swords are replaced by guns[17] (with model names such as "Dagger", "Sword", and "Rapier"), and with a FedEx-style overnight delivery service called "Post Haste".[18] Shakespeare and Impure Aesthetics explores ideas about art implicit in Shakespeare's plays and defines specific Shakespearean aesthetic practices in his use of desire, death and mourning as resources for art. In fiction, a subplot or side story is a secondary strand of the plot that is a supporting side story for any story or for the main plot. Subplots may connect to main plots, in either time and place or thematic significance. Subplots often involve supporting characters, those besides the protagonist or antagonist. Subplots may also intertwine with the main plot at some point in a story.[1]
THE ENCYCLICAL PASSIONARIES ABOUT YHVH CASAPIANOS
Specifically, the royal psalms deal with the spiritual role of kings in the worship of Yahweh. Aside from that single qualification, there is nothing else which specifically links the ten psalms. Each of the psalms make explicit references to their subject, the king. Royal (messianic) psalms deal with the king as God's anointed or chosen one. Many are prayers for the wisdom of the king, his long life or success in battle. Some are prophetic in nature in that they also point to the ideal future king, the Messiah or the King of kings. Simple martyrologies only enumerate names. Historical martyrologies, also sometimes called passionaries, also include stories or biographical details. (Reckless Abandonment; Mars Shamanism and Casa Pia Wing Transfer Invocation)
In the martyrdom narrative of the remembering community, this refusal to comply with the presented demands results in the punishment or execution of an individual by an oppressor. Accordingly, the status of the 'martyr' can be considered a posthumous title as a reward for those who are considered worthy of the concept of martyrdom by the living, regardless of any attempts by the deceased to control how they will be remembered in advance.[1] Insofar, the martyr is a relational figure of a society's boundary work that is produced by collective memory.[2] Originally applied only to those who suffered for their religious beliefs, the term has come to be used in connection with people killed for a political cause. (Armed Friars and The War for Central Africa between Casapianos and The French; The Fall of Yoruba for Bembé; Arcubusier Angels in Africa)
The Metal Ages is a term for the period of human civilization beginning about 6,000 years ago during which metallurgy rapidly advanced, and human populations started using metals such as copper, tin, bronze and finally iron to make tools and weapons. By heating and shaping metals in hot furnaces, humanity also learned to use precious metals such as gold and silver to make intricate ornaments.[1][2] With these technological adaptions, human society became more productive and human settlements became larger and more prosperous, but also more violent.[3] The Metal Ages are divided into three stages: the Copper Age, the Bronze Age, and the Iron Age.[1][2] (Calcium Age of Angola)
5 SENSES FESTIVAL MONTHLY (CASAPIANOS ORDER)
Heortology or eortology is a science that deals with the origin and development of religious festivals,[1] and more specifically the study of the history and criticism of liturgical calendars and martyrologies*. Religious Ecstacy Entheogens are psychedelic drugs—and sometimes certain other psychoactive substances—used for engendering spiritual development or otherwise in sacred contexts.

The gardens presented an array of vibrant blossoms, greeting its visitors with a pleasant, sweet scent. It was hard to feel gloomy when walking the stone path that wound its way through the maze of hedges and arches.
Winged insects buzzed around, harvesting nectars from the plants peaceably. The sound faded in and out as you passed by.
Yet the steps you took were slow, unmotivated. A contrast to the lighter, glad ones that you took whenever he was your destination. Since being assigned to the protection detail of this young senator, you’d wandered these paths many times. Memorized them. Each turn, each slope, and each bench were ingrained into your mind. It was where you’d spent much time sorting through forbidden thoughts and desires, after all.
That was what brought you there once more.
Though the atmosphere was bright and airy at the senator’s palace, you could not completely enjoy it. The dreaded silence that had weighed heavily over everyone when you’d first arrived gave way to whispers of gossip amongst the staff and lively conversation as they flitted about the halls.
All you could think about were his eyes. His voice. How capable he was on the battlefield. How strong his arms were. How he started out as a complete and utter mystery to you, and now you could tell his mood simply by the tone of his grunt.
A chuckle escaped your lips. You’d been walking in silence for so long that your own voice sounded foreign to you.
Footsteps approached from behind, carrying the familiar thud of trooper armor. You knew who it was without him having to make himself known, having sensed his presence as he grew nearer.
“Commander Wolffe.”
He stopped a few feet away, letting out a huff at your greeting. That was the sound he made whenever he witnessed you or Plo Koon’s jedi abilities. It was the closest to bewilderment that you’d ever get out of him.
“General,” he addressed you. “Thought I’d find you here.”
That piqued your interest. You turned around to face him. “What can I do for you?”
Wolffe stood there with bucket tucked under one arm in a semi-formal stance.
He cleared his throat. “Just checking in. There’s been talk about transfers.”
You nodded. “It looks like our time here is coming to an end,” you said wistfully. “The senator is safe. The danger has passed. I appreciate the measures you’ve taken when it comes to this mission, Commander.”
“Just doing my duty,” he replied gruffly. Typical. The man would not take credit the entire time you’d known him. Not even after a job well done. “Any word on where we’ll be going?”
Your eyes fell from his. “Nothing is certain. All I know is I am to return to Coruscant. You and your men will be transferred elsewhere.”
Were you imagining it? The shift in his expression? His lips pressed together in a firm line as he took the news, but the look vanished as quickly as it appeared. Perhaps it was hopeful thinking on your part… to think the time spent working together meant something to him. It meant a great deal to you. The realization that you would part ways until who-knows-when weighed heavily on your heart.
Wolffe gave a curt nod. He sighed, hesitating. “For what it’s worth, General-”
“There she is!” an all-too-familiar voice interrupted. “My favorite jedi! My, I was beginning to wonder where you’d run off to.”
You bit your tongue and turned to see the approaching senator. He was wearing a particularly elaborate tunic and cloak set that shone with shimmering stones sewn into it.
“Senator Gil Illel,” you greeted in the most courteous tone you could muster. “How may I be of service?”
“You may do so by accompanying me to a dinner I am hosting in your honor.” He reached forward, taking your hand in both of his in one of his eccentric gestures of regard. “You have been a great help to me and my people.”
Wolffe let out a quiet huff, restraining himself from an eyeroll. You had to hold back your amusement as you politely retracted your hand and gave a nod. “The Council was alarmed to hear of any possible danger to you. I am glad that I could be of help, but with all due respect, Senator, we jedi are not ones for formal gatherings.”
“Nonsense! This is your last evening here. I would have it no other way.” Senator Illel’s tone grew more insistent, as did the glimmer in his eye. He leaned in, lowering his voice. “I want to fully express my gratitude.”
It wasn’t a secret that the senator you were assigned to developed a little crush. He’d dropped plenty of unsubtle hints here and there in hopes of you reciprocating. However, you did not feel the same. Not only that, but your affections already belonged to another.
Meanwhile, Wolffe looked as if he was barely holding in a comment. His glare was fixated on some distant fountain or hedge, refusing to meet yours. You weren’t sure what you were expecting… some sort of help? The best thing to do would be to accept Illel’s invitation, get through the evening, and be glad that you wouldn’t have to see the senator again.
You would still miss Wolffe. Your heart already ached at the thought.
“Alright,” you said finally. “I suppose I can drop in for a little while.”
Senator Illel grinned. “Splendid. I will have the maids deliver an extra special gown.”
“Actually, I’m afraid I have to refuse. I do have more formal robes that will do nicely.”
He conceded with a reluctant nod. “Very well. I shall see you tonight.” With an exaggerated bow, he bid you farewell.
No sooner when you looked at Wolffe did he finally scoff and roll his eyes. You couldn’t resist a chuckle. But before you could make a joke on the matter, he excused himself rather abruptly.
“I have some business to attend to with the men,” he said, turning and following the path until he was out of sight. Your parted lips closed with the loss of words, and instead, a sigh escaped you.
. . . .
The party was over-the-top. Not one for such gatherings, you made a point to only stay long enough to satisfy Senator Illel. The event was in your honor, but he seemed rather preoccupied with his other guests for a time. You took the opportunity to step out for a few minutes, embracing the cool night air with gladness.
You found yourself in the place you always went to.
It was the same garden, and yet it felt entirely different in the evening. Everything was quiet. The buzzing of insects was replaced with the chirping of their nocturnal counterparts. Eye-catching hues were washed away by the light of a silver moon.
Only a few minutes had passed before you sensed a familiar presence. The unsettled feelings that the evening’s events brought on were gone almost instantaneously as footsteps approached on the path behind you.
“General.” This time he greeted you first.
“Hello, Commander.” You turned around and offered a smile, letting him know that his presence was most welcome.
“Enjoying the festivities?” he asked, though there was no mistaking the sarcasm in his tone. He knew you well enough to understand how you truly felt about the whole thing.
“Oh yes. Most certainly,” you replied with a similar sharpness in your tone. “If I’m honest, I prefer your company significantly more.”
He didn’t respond right away, and you wondered if it had been the right thing to say. Before you had the chance to comment further, Wolffe huffed a sigh.
“I think you know by now I prefer yours.”
You stole a glance at him in surprise. You hadn’t expected such an admission from him. He continued to gaze up at the moon that shone down over the estate. You felt your resolve breaking. If you were honest, it was being chipped away slowly as the days went by that you worked with Wolffe. But standing there, with Wolffe, under the light of the moon… It was finally gone.
“Wolffe,” you addressed him informally, and he turned to meet your gaze. “You should know, I-”
“Well, here you are!” Illel exclaimed. You jumped, realizing you were so focused on the handsome commander that you hadn’t sensed the senator’s approach. “Why, oh why, is the guest of honor all the way out here?”
You chuckled nervously. “Apologies, senator. I was getting some fresh air. It is quite the shindig you have going on in there-”
Senator Illel held up a hand to silence you before turning to Wolffe. “Commander- Wolffe, was it? You are dismissed. I have no need for your service.”
You didn’t miss the way Wolffe tightened his jaw. The irritation that flashed in his expression. The way his shoulder flexed as he excused himself and walked away. Once he was out of earshot, Illel turned to you.
“Every time I find you, you’re with that one...”
Aaaand that was it. That was the last straw.
“With all due respect,” you said sharply. “He is my Commander, and a very important part in your protection detail. He is deserving of your respect. If you will excuse me…” You turned, your robes flowing out behind you, and followed after Wolffe.
You saw him farther up the path, picking up your pace to catch up. “Wolffe! Wait, please!”
He froze, though he didn’t turn around to face you. You were more than fine with that. Considering the things you had to say, you weren’t sure you could look him in the eye while you bared your heart to him. Throwing your arms around his form from behind, you pressed your cheek to the back of his armor. Uncomfortable as it was, it was rather freeing to finally do so.
“Wolffe.”
“General…” The surprise was evident in his tone. You weren’t sure you’d ever heard that before.
“I’m sorry, I…I just need to tell you that I care for you. I have since the day we started working together to protect that pompous senator.”
“_______,” he rumbled lowly.
“And I know that it won’t be long before we’re separated…I don’t expect you to feel the same, but I had to at least let you know.”
He tried to twist around toward you, though restricted due to your hold on his torso. “Can you-?”
“Oh, right.”
Wolffe turned around fully to face you, his expression more tender than you ever expected it to be. “I…” he paused, struggling to find the right words. He seemed to give up with a huff and simply pull you into an embrace against his chest with both arms.
Your eyes widened, though you found yourself relaxing into it. For a few moments, neither of you said a thing.
“Please, don’t let me go,” you murmured. You knew right away that he felt the same for you. He didn’t need to say it, but even so, the next word he spoke meant the world to you.
“Never,” he grunted.
To prove it, he held you even tighter.

Climate at the Debate: Trump Ignored the Question and Harris Hedged. (New York Times)
Excerpt from this story from the New York Times:
At the tail end of the hottest summer in recorded history, as wildfires tear through California and a hurricane heads toward Louisiana, both Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald J. Trump failed to say how they would fight climate change during their debate Tuesday night.
It was the final question posed during the 90 minute exchange, about an issue that moderator Linsey Davis of ABC News noted was “important for a number of Americans, in particular younger voters.”
The outcome of this presidential election could be critical to determining whether the United States, the world’s biggest historic source of the greenhouse gasses that are dangerously warming the planet, cuts its pollution enough to keep global warming within relatively safe limits. Scientists say the window for action is rapidly closing.
Ms. Harris acknowledged the problem, noting “the former president has said that climate change is a hoax and what we know is that it is very real.”
“We know that we can actually deal with this issue,” she said, but did not offer any specifics about how she would. Instead, Ms. Harris made a largely economic argument, noting that federal subsidies for clean energy, which includes wind and solar power, have created new jobs and spurred manufacturing.
And, in an unusual turn, Ms. Harris boasted that under the Biden administration, gas production has reached record highs. It’s a point that until very recently the administration had been reluctant to emphasize. The burning of fossil fuels is the main driver of climate change and at the United Nations climate talks last year, the United States joined nearly 200 other countries in a pledge to transition away from coal, oil and gas.
“We have invested a trillion dollars in a clean energy economy while we have also increased domestic gas production to historic levels,” Ms. Harris said on Tuesday.
Earlier in the debate, Ms. Harris suggested that developing more oil and gas was important to national security. “My position is that we have got to invest in diverse sources of energy, so we reduce our reliance on foreign oil,” she said. “We have had the largest increase in domestic oil production in history.”
The debate took place in Pennsylvania, a swing state that is pivotal to both candidates and is the second largest natural gas producer after Texas.
t was the second time in two debates that Mr. Trump, asked directly his plans for addressing the planetary threat, dodged the question entirely.
Instead, Mr. Trump repeatedly hammered Ms. Harris on fracking, and claimed that if she wins the White House, she would ban it and cripple fossil fuel production.
“She will never allow fracking in Pennsylvania if she won the election,” Mr. Trump said. “If she won the election, the day after that election, they’ll go back to destroying our country and oil will be dead, fossil fuel will be dead.”

David Smith at The Guardian:
Joe Biden has insisted that only “the Lord almighty” could persuade him to exit the US presidential race in a potential make-or-break TV interview aimed at quelling a burgeoning rebellion in the Democratic party.
In an exchange free from major gaffes but unlikely to appease his critics, Biden was asked by George Stephanopoulos of ABC News how he would feel if he were to remain the nominee and lose to Donald Trump. “I’ll feel as long as I gave it my all and I did the goodest job as I know I can do, that’s what this is about,” the president replied. In other responses his opponents may see as arrogant or out of touch, the 81-year-old claimed that he is “running the world” and no one is “more qualified” to be president. The interview on Friday came at a critical stretch as the 81-year-old strives to salvage his imperiled re-election campaign after last month’s disastrous debate performance. Four members of Congress have called on Biden to step aside, and it was reported that Mark Warner, who chairs the Senate intelligence committee, is looking to assemble a group of Democratic senators to ask the president to drop his re-election bid.
But on Friday, speaking to Stephanopoulos in Madison, Wisconsin, after a fiery campaign rally, the embattled president continued to strike a defiant tone. “Look. I mean, if the Lord Almighty came down and said, ‘Joe, get outta the race,’ I’d get outta the race,” he said, his voice sounding strained after the rally. “The Lord Almighty’s not comin’ down.” Biden insisted that after meeting with Democratic leaders such as Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries, Nancy Pelosi and state governors, they continue to back him. Stephanopoulos, a former senior adviser to President Bill Clinton, pressed Biden on what he would do if told that his friends and supporters were concerned that his candidacy would cost Democrats the House of Representatives and Senate.
The president replied: “I’m not going to answer that question. It’s not going to happen.” Stephanopoulos had begun the primetime interview by citing Pelosi, who this week questioned whether Biden’s feeble performance represented an episode or a condition. “It was a bad episode,” Biden insisted. “No indication of any serious condition. I was exhausted. I didn’t listen to my instincts in terms of preparing and – I had a bad night.” Stephanopoulos noted that Biden had returned from Europe 12 days before the debate and that he had spent six days at the presidential retreat Camp David. “Why wasn’t that enough rest time, enough recovery time?” he asked.
The president replied: “Because I was sick. I was feeling terrible. Matter of fact, the doc’s with me. I asked if they did a Covid test because they’re trying to figure out what was wrong. They did a test to see whether or not I had some infection, you know, a virus. I didn’t. I just had a really bad cold.” Stephanopoulos asked whether Biden had watched the debate afterwards. Instead of giving a firm yes or no, he hedged: “I don’t think I did, no.” The interviewer went on to ask what Biden had been experiencing during the debate and whether he had known how badly it was going. Just as he did on that night, the president zigzagged in his answer from one point to another. He said: “Yeah, look. The whole way I prepared, nobody’s fault, mine. Nobody’s fault but mine. “I – I prepared what I usually would do sittin’ down as I did come back with foreign leaders or National Security Council for explicit detail. And I realised – partway through that, you know, all - I get quoted the New York Times had me down, 10 points before the debate, nine now, or whatever the hell it is.
“The fact of the matter is, what I looked at is that he also lied 28 times. I couldn’t – I mean, the way the debate ran, not – my fault, nobody else’s fault, no one else’s fault.” Stephanopoulos challenged Biden that concerns about his fitness for office followed a pattern, citing a recent New York Times article that reported his lapses were becoming more frequent, pronounced and worrisome. Biden said: “Can I run a 110 flat? No. But I’m still in good shape.” Asked whether he would be willing to have an independent cognitive evaluation and release the results to the American people, Biden said: “Look, I have a cognitive test every single day. Every day I’ve had tests. Everything I do. You know, not only am I campaigning, I’m running the world. And that sounds like hyperbole but we are the essential nation in the world.”
The interviewer asked: “Are you sure you’re being honest with yourself when you’re saying you have the mental and physical capacity to serve another four years?” Biden shot back: “Yes, I am because, George, the last thing I want to do is not be able to meet that. I think as some of the senior economist and senior foreign policy specialists say, if I stopped now I’d go down in history as a pretty successful president. No one thought I could get done what we got done.” The 22-minute interview was shown to a national audience on ABC. It was part of a major campaign offensive over the weekend to assuage doubts over Biden’s fitness for office and ability to beat Trump.
During a Friday interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, President Joe Biden (D) told Stephanopoulos that he would drop out “if the Lord Almighty came down” to tell him to leave.
Biden continued to insist that his debate performance was just a “bad episode.”

Different Financial Instruments
Different Financial Instruments in India The financial market in India provides a wide variety of products to suit different risk tolerances and investment requirements. Making wise investing selections requires having a thorough understanding of these instruments. Here, we examine a few of the most important financial products that are offered in India.
Stocks Ownership in a corporation is represented by stocks, or equity. Purchasing shares of a firm permits you to participate in its development and earnings as an owner. On stock markets such as the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), stocks are exchanged. Although they have a large amount of market risk, they provide huge profits. Prior to making an investment in stocks, investors should perform extensive research.
Bonds Bonds are fixed-income securities that governments, businesses, and local governments issue to raise money. At maturity, they repay the principle amount together with monthly interest payments. Although they sometimes yield less returns than stocks, bonds are seen to be safer. For conservative investors seeking consistent income, they are perfect.
Mutual Funds Mutual funds invest in a diverse portfolio of stocks, bonds, and other assets by pooling the money of several individuals. Professional fund managers oversee them. By providing diversity, mutual funds help individual investors take on less risk. They are available in several varieties, including debt, equity, and hybrid funds, to accommodate varying risk tolerances and investment objectives.
Fixed Deposits (FDs) Fixed deposits are one of the most popular investment options in India. They offer a fixed interest rate for a specified tenure, providing assured returns. FDs are considered very safe, especially when deposited in reputable banks. They are suitable for risk-averse investors seeking guaranteed returns.
Derivatives Financial contracts known as derivatives derive their value from underlying assets such as stocks, bonds, or indexes. Derivatives that are frequently used are swaps, options, and futures. They are employed in price movement speculation and risk hedging. Since they can be complicated, derivatives are usually only advised for seasoned investors.
Instruments for Foreign Exchange Currency trading is a part of foreign exchange instruments. Businesses and investors use them to speculate on currency changes or as a hedge against currency risk. Forex trading is extremely risky and necessitates a solid grasp of world economic issues.
Cash and Cash Equivalents These include instruments like treasury bills, commercial papers, and certificates of deposit. They are highly liquid and can be quickly converted into cash. Cash equivalents are low-risk investments, suitable for short-term needs or as a part of a diversified portfolio
Goods and Services Investing in commodities such as crude oil, silver, and gold is an additional choice. Direct commodity trading is also possible, as is commodity futures trading. They diversify an investment portfolio and act as a buffer against inflation. In summary The financial market in India provides a vast range of instruments to suit varying risk appetites and investment requirements. Investors have a wide range of alternatives, from secure and steady fixed deposits to high-risk, high-reward stocks. Making wise investing selections requires having a thorough understanding of these instruments, as well as the risks and rewards associated with each. There is a financial product in India to meet your demands, regardless of whether you are an aggressive investor wanting large profits or a conservative investor seeking safety.

Derivatives: Unraveling the Complex World of Financial Instruments.
Introduction:
Derivatives, often described as the "financial weapons of mass destruction" by Warren Buffett, play a pivotal role in modern financial markets. These instruments derive their value from an underlying asset, index, or interest rate. In this revamped blog, we'll explore the different types of derivatives, their uses, and the impact they've had on global finance.
Types of Derivatives:
1. Options:
Options provide investors with the right (but not the obligation) to buy or sell an asset at a predetermined price (the strike price) within a specified time frame. Key points about options:
•Call Options: These allow the holder to buy the underlying asset.
•Put Options: These allow the holder to sell the underlying asset.
•Options are used for speculation, hedging, and income generation.
2. Futures:
Futures contracts are standardized agreements to buy or sell an asset at a predetermined price on a specific future date. Here's what you need to know:
•Exchange-Traded: Futures are traded on organized exchanges, ensuring liquidity and transparency.
•Risk Management: Hedgers use futures to protect against price fluctuations (e.g., farmers hedging crop prices).
•Leverage: Futures allow substantial exposure with a smaller upfront investment.
3. Forwards:
Forwards are similar to futures but are customized contracts negotiated directly between parties. Key features:
•Flexibility: Forwards can be tailored to specific needs (e.g., unique delivery dates or quantities).
•Private Agreements: Unlike futures, forwards are over-the-counter (OTC) and lack standardization.
•Credit Risk: Counterparty risk exists, as there's no central clearinghouse.
4. Swaps:
Swaps involve exchanging cash flows based on predetermined terms. Common types include:
•Interest Rate Swaps: Parties exchange fixed and floating interest payments.
•Currency Swaps: Useful for managing foreign exchange risk.
•Credit Default Swaps: Used to hedge credit risk.
Market Impact and Regulation:
The derivatives market has grown exponentially, but it's not without risks:
•Systemic Risk: The 2008 financial crisis highlighted the interconnectedness of derivatives and their potential to destabilize markets.
•Regulatory Reforms: Authorities like SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) have tightened regulations to enhance transparency and mitigate risks.
Conclusion:
Derivatives are powerful tools, but their complexity demands caution. Whether you're a trader, investor, or risk manager, understanding derivatives is essential. As we navigate this intricate landscape, let's remember that with great power comes great responsibility.

Villagers in southern Lebanon have been heading north, fearing all-out war. Most schools are closed. Israel has ordered its citizens to vacate 28 towns along the border with Lebanon. The Israeli army has exchanged fire with Hezbollah—Lebanon’s Shia political and paramilitary group—every day since October 7, resulting in casualties on both sides. Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has said, “We must respond to what is happening in Gaza”; its foreign minister, Amir Abdollahian, warned of a preemptive strike by Iran’s allies against Israel.
And yet, 12 days after the Hamas attack on Israel, the man who holds some of the cards and usually sets the tone, Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah’s leader, is still silent—no speeches, no interviews. For someone who loves to give fiery addresses to his followers and does so regularly, Nasrallah’s reticence is notable and can mean only one thing.
Hezbollah is keeping its powder (mostly) dry while Iran weighs its options and their possible outcomes. Israel has called up 300,000 reservists, the United States has sent two carrier strike groups to the Mediterranean, and President Joe Biden headed to the region with one word for Hezbollah: “Don’t.” For Tehran, regime survival trumps all considerations—and it requires the survival of Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Islamic Republic’s most valuable asset and a key line of its defense. Every Israeli strike on Gaza, every mass-casualty event, will factor into the calculation as both Iran and Hezbollah assess their next moves.
Washington has said it has no evidence directly linking Tehran to the Hamas attack, but a long-standing, though not always easy, relationship binds the Palestinian group to the Iranian regime. Tehran supplies weapons and money to Hamas, and Hezbollah is reported to have provided training. Over the past year, the head of Iran’s paramilitary Quds Force, General Esmail Ghaani, worked to coordinate Iran’s proxies, and Nasrallah has spoken often this year of the unification of fronts. The order to initiate the attack may not have come from Tehran, but Hamas could have had a sort of blanket approval for efforts to launch such an operation. Tehran may have little understood what the attack would unleash. Despite Abdollahian’s bombast, the so-called axis of resistance appears somewhat stunned by its own horrifying success, which was in part made possible by Israel’s slow response on the day of the attacks.
“We were expecting to get a smaller number of hostages and return, but the army collapsed in front of us, what were we to do?” was how the Beirut-based Hamas leader Ali Barakeh put it to The Washington Post on Monday.
The unexpectedly high Israeli death toll may be one reason Nasrallah has kept silent—he is hedging, watching to see when and how far the Israeli army will go into Gaza, and whether Hamas will face an existential threat that requires Hezbollah’s response. Even then, Iran would likely prefer to sacrifice Hamas rather than waste Hezbollah, unless Iran itself comes under threat.
By keeping Israel on edge on its northern border, Hezbollah is in effect already helping Hamas, but doing so within the rules of engagement established after the 2006 Israel-Hezbollah war. Both sides understand that script, although the risk of a miscalculation is great. For now, Israeli officials are making clear that they don’t want a war with Lebanon—and simultaneously threatening to destroy the country if Hezbollah goes too far. Hezbollah has put out stern statements saying that it’s responding to enemy fire while, at the same time, having its spokesperson claim that the “skirmishes” are only a “warning.”
Hezbollah learned a hard lesson in 2006 about intervening in a war to back up Hamas. In early June of that year, Israel carried out the targeted killing of a Palestinian leader, and Hamas kidnapped an Israeli conscript, Gilad Shalit. By June 28, Hamas and Israel were at war, and the Israeli army had entered northern Gaza. The war would last for weeks. On July 12, as a show of support for the Palestinians, Hezbollah carried out a cross-border raid into northern Israel and kidnapped two Israeli soldiers. Three soldiers were killed during the ambush.
The Israeli response to the kidnappings was devastating for Lebanon, involving not only a ground invasion but massive air strikes, which killed an estimated 1,200 civilians; flattened large parts of the capital’s southern suburbs, where Hezbollah operates; and caused extensive damage to civilian infrastructure across the country. On August 27, shortly after a cease-fire was declared, Nasrallah made a startling admission in a television interview. “We did not think, even 1 percent, that the capture [of two Israeli soldiers] would lead to a war at this time and of this magnitude. You ask me, if I had known on July 11 … that the operation would lead to such a war, would I do it? I say no, absolutely not.”
Much has changed since the 2006 war, for all the parties involved. With Iran’s help, Hezbollah’s capabilities have increased considerably in the past 17 years. The group now has an estimated 60,000 fighters and a stockpile of missiles that went from 14,000 to 150,000 and includes precision guided missiles, according to experts. If Israel can level large parts of Beirut or other areas of Lebanon in the event of an escalation, Hezbollah is now also able to inflict devastating damage deep into Israel. This capability will be factored into Israel’s planning for a ground war in Gaza: How far can Israel go before Hezbollah unleashes a barrage of rockets? One possible scenario is that even an escalation would remain scripted, with both sides opting for precision strikes rather than a barrage of fire.
In parallel with Iran’s expansionist agenda, Hezbollah’s role in the region has grown since 2006. A local Lebanese Shia militia and a political party has now become a regional paramilitary group with a presence in Yemen, Iraq, and Syria, much to the dismay of other Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia. Since 2013, Hezbollah has been assisting the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to brutally put down what had started as a peaceful uprising in 2011. Israel has conducted regular air strikes against Hezbollah and Iranian assets in Syria. Over the weekend, Israel struck the Damascus and Aleppo airports, raising the possibility of a Syrian front against Israel rather than one in Lebanon. Hezbollah would still be involved and play a key role, but Israeli retaliation would target Syria, a country that’s still at war and that has a president who owes his survival to Tehran and will have little say as to whether or how he will participate.
Most concerning for Hezbollah is its domestic and regional standing. In 2006, Nasrallah was seen as an icon who stood up to Israel for 34 days and emerged alive, denying the mighty Israeli army a victory—though at great cost to Lebanon. Israel had wrongly assumed that many Lebanese would blame Hezbollah for attracting Israel’s wrath. But after initial outrage that Hezbollah had dragged the country to war, the Lebanese directed their fury at Israel for destroying Lebanon’s infrastructure and for the high casualty toll. For a few years afterward, according to one poll, Nasrallah was the most popular leader in the Arab world (although he won only 26 percent of the vote).
Today is not 2006, however. Hezbollah has lost its shine in the eyes of much of the Arab world. Lebanon has been exhausted by a three-year economic crisis, and it is still recovering from the massive explosion at the Beirut port in 2020. Many Lebanese assign Hezbollah a portion of the blame for both of these calamities. Over the past two years, Lebanon’s Christian, Druze, and Sunni communities have each had an altercation or a violent clash with Hezbollah. On Friday, Hamas called for demonstrations across the region in support of its cause. Several thousand of Hezbollah’s core supporters answered that call across Lebanon, but the response was overall tepid and performative.
Still, the mood can easily turn, even if not in support of war, toward more vociferous expressions of support for the Palestinians or anger at the United States. In the hours after the al-Ahli hospital was hit in Gaza, several hundred protesters on mopeds drove from the southern suburbs to the U.S. embassy on the northern outskirts of Beirut, setting a nearby building on fire.
Tehran may well have been surprised by the extent of Hamas’s operation, but it is adept at recalibrating. It will capitalize on the global sympathy for Palestinians that the devastating pictures out of Gaza inspire, as well as on the fact that Israeli-Saudi normalization talks are on ice and the U.S. president is being shunned by Arab countries. But despite its bombast and rhetoric, the regime in Iran is not suicidal and will not seek to take a last stand and go down in flames. Whatever Tehran does now, together with Hezbollah, will be carefully calculated to ensure the survival of the regime and a smooth transition for the succession of the 84-year-old Khamenei.
Under pressure at home from an agitated, young population and economic sanctions, surrounded by countries cozying up to his archenemy, Israel, Khamenei has been working to improve Iran’s hand thanks to ties with China and Russia and the use of proxy militias. He also bought some breathing space and legitimacy with the rapprochement with Saudi Arabia in March. He is now using the Palestinian cause to re-burnish his regional credentials.
Diplomacy is only now kicking in, with a sputter. Biden’s meetings with Arab leaders have been canceled in protest at the ongoing Israeli military campaign against Gaza and Washington’s refusal to call for a cease-fire. A political opening may be possible at a much later stage of the conflict, and at that time, Tehran may want a part in regional diplomacy.
In 1990, Iran was still exhausted by the Iran-Iraq war, and its pragmatic president, Hashemi Rafsanjani, wanted his country to be readmitted into the international community. He condemned Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait and reconciled with Saudi Arabia after a break of several years. In an effort to further garner the goodwill of the United States, Rafsanjani pushed Iran’s proxies in Lebanon to release the Western hostages that they had been holding since the mid-’80s. But when the 1991 Arab-Israeli peace conference was held in Madrid, Iran was excluded, in a slight it never forgot. Today’s Iran is much different; its president is no Rafsanjani, but the country again has domestic and economic problems that could drive it to seek inclusion or guarantees.
If the current outbreak of violence leads to an opening for a wider settlement, Iran seems unlikely to get a seat at the table. But stranger things have happened in the Middle East—and Iran’s proxies will have made sure that Tehran has been heard and its price has been set.

Sam Bankman-Fried, once hailed as a genius in cryptocurrency, was found guilty Thursday of all fraud counts against him, a year after his exchange, FTX, imploded and practically wiped out thousands of customers.
The verdict was reached around 7:40 p.m. ET, about four hours after the federal jury in Manhattan began deliberations.
Bankman-Fried, a co-founder of the digital currency exchange FTX, was charged with seven counts of wire fraud, securities fraud and money laundering that swindled customers of FTX and lenders to its affiliated hedge fund, Alameda Research.
Bankman-Fried “perpetrated one of the biggest financial frauds in American history,” Damian Williams, the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, said after the verdict.
“The cryptocurrency industry might be new; the players like Bankman-Fried might be new,” Williams said. “But this kind of fraud, this kind of corruption, is as old as time.”
Bankman-Fried faces up to 110 years in prison. His sentencing is scheduled for March 28.
FTX and Alameda quickly collapsed in November 2022 after some of their financial liabilities were exposed. The fact that Alameda had taken billions of dollars from FTX's customers and that much of Alameda's balance sheet comprised digital currency assets it had created, was central to the case against Bankman-Fried.
Unnerved by disclosures about the firm's financial position, many of FTX’s customers tried to get their money back. That set off the equivalent of a bank run.
The value of Alameda's investments crashed, and FTX couldn’t return much of that money because it had been given to Alameda. Some went to the fund’s lenders, and billions were spent on sponsorships, commercials and loans to top executives. That, too, was a major part of the case against Bankman-Fried.
Many of FTX and Alameda's leaders were also charged after the firms went under. Former Alameda CEO Caroline Ellison, FTX co-founder Gary Wang and FTX head of engineering Nishad Singh all pleaded guilty. They agreed to cooperate with the prosecution and testify against Bankman-Fried in exchange for lighter sentences.
While Bankman-Fried testified in his own defense, it didn’t appear to have the same weight as the insider testimony against him. The prosecution, in its closing argument, said Bankman-Fried had answered “I can’t recall” 140 times while he was being cross-examined.
Bankman-Fried’s lawyers contended that he did not intend to defraud anyone and that the government was looking for someone to blame after the failures of FTX and Alameda.
Bankman-Fried was asked to rise and face the jury as the verdicts were read Thursday, and he did so. He showed little emotion as each verdict was read.
His father slumped in his seat, hunched over as each guilty verdict came in. His mother was visibly emotional.
Mark S. Cohen, Bankman-Fried’s counsel, said in an emailed statement Thursday that Bankman-Fried’s legal team respects the jury’s decision but that they are disappointed.
“Mr. Bankman Fried maintains his innocence and will continue to vigorously fight the charges against him,” he said.
Forbes had once estimated that Bankman-Fried's stakes in Alameda and FTXwere worth $26 billion. He was 29 at the time. But after the bankruptcies, that was gone. Criminal charges followed weeks later.
He also faces another trial on charges of bribing foreign officials and other counts. That trial is scheduled to begin in March, and he has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
On Thursday, Bankman-Fried was found guilty of two counts of wire fraud conspiracy, two counts of wire fraud, one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering, one count of conspiracy to commit commodities fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit securities fraud.
Williams, the prosecutor, said Bankman-Fried’s conviction should send a message to others.
“It’s a warning, this case, to every single fraudster out there who thinks that they’re untouchable or that their crimes are too complex for us to catch or that they’re too powerful for us to prosecute or that they could try to talk their way out of it when they get caught,” he said. “Those folks should think again.”

Navigating the Forex Market: A Beginner's Guide to Currency Trading
https://www.brokersview.com
In today's interconnected world, the foreign exchange (forex) market stands as the largest and most liquid financial market globally, with a daily trading volume exceeding $6 trillion. As a newcomer to the world of finance, understanding the basics of forex trading can be the first step toward harnessing its potential. In this post, we'll provide an introductory guide to help you navigate the forex market.
What is Forex Trading?
Forex, short for foreign exchange, involves the buying and selling of currencies from different countries. The forex market operates 24 hours a day, five days a week, due to the global nature of currency trading. It serves various purposes, from facilitating international trade to allowing investors to speculate on currency price movements.
Key Players in the Forex Market
Central Banks: Central banks, such as the Federal Reserve (Fed) in the United States and the European Central Bank (ECB), play a significant role in the forex market by setting interest rates and implementing monetary policies that impact currency values.
Commercial Banks: Commercial banks participate in forex trading on behalf of their clients and themselves, serving as major liquidity providers in the market.
Hedge Funds and Investment Firms: Large financial institutions and hedge funds engage in forex trading to diversify their portfolios and capitalize on price fluctuations.
Retail Traders: Individual traders like you and me participate in the forex market through online trading platforms provided by brokers.
Currency Pairs
In forex trading, currencies are quoted in pairs, where one currency is exchanged for another. The first currency in the pair is the base currency, and the second is the quote currency. The exchange rate reflects how much of the quote currency is needed to purchase one unit of the base currency. For example, in the EUR/USD pair, the EUR is the base currency, and the USD is the quote currency. If the EUR/USD exchange rate is 1.20, it means 1 Euro can buy 1.20 US Dollars.
How Forex Trading Works
Forex trading involves speculating on whether a currency pair's value will rise (appreciate) or fall (depreciate) in the future. Traders can take two primary positions:
Long Position (Buy): A trader buys a currency pair if they believe the base currency will strengthen against the quote currency.
Short Position (Sell): A trader sells a currency pair if they expect the base currency to weaken compared to the quote currency.
Risk Management
Forex trading carries inherent risks due to the volatility of currency markets. It's crucial to implement risk management strategies, including setting stop-loss orders to limit potential losses and diversifying your trading portfolio.
Choosing a Forex Broker
Selecting the right forex broker is a critical step for beginners. Look for brokers regulated by reputable authorities, offering user-friendly trading platforms, competitive spreads, and excellent customer support.
Educational Resources
Learning is an ongoing process in forex trading. Take advantage of educational resources provided by brokers, online courses, webinars, and trading forums to enhance your understanding of the market.
Conclusion
Forex trading offers opportunities for profit, but it's essential to approach it with knowledge, discipline, and caution. As a beginner, start with a demo account to practice your trading strategies without risking real money. Over time, you can gain confidence and experience to make informed decisions in the dynamic world of forex trading. Remember that success in forex trading requires continuous learning and adaptation to changing market conditions.

Top 10 most expensive African cities to live in 2024 | Business Insider Africa
Douala, Cameroon's main city and commercial hub, is a thriving metropolis recognized for its port, industry, and dynamic commerce. As the commercial hub, Douala sees a large influx of individuals looking for better economic prospects. As a result, the city boasts a high cost of living. It ranks 63rd on Mercer's index.
METHODOLOGY
Mercer's 2024 rating methodology included 226 cities from five continents. It compared the expenses of more than 200 products in each area, including accommodation, transportation, food, clothes, home goods, and entertainment. To guarantee consistency in city-ranking comparisons, New York City was used as a baseline, and currency fluctuations were assessed against the US dollar.
The numbers included in Mercer's cost comparisons are from a study done in March 2024 that included over 400 cities. Calculations and baselines were based on exchange rates at the time as well as data from Mercer's worldwide basket of goods and services (used in its Cost of Living Survey).

The language emerged from contact between French settlers and enslaved Africans during the Atlantic slave trade in the French colony of Saint-Domingue (now Haiti) in the 17th and 18th centuries. Although its vocabulary largely derives from 18th-century French, its grammar is that of a West African Volta-Congo language branch, particularly the Fongbe and Igbo languages.

The original sense of apotheosis relates to religion and is the subject of many works of art. Figuratively "apotheosis" may be used in almost any context for "the deification, glorification, or exaltation of a principle, practice, etc.", so normally attached to an abstraction of some sort.[1] In religion, apotheosis was a feature of many religions in the ancient world, and some that are active today. It requires a belief that there is a possibility of newly-created gods, so a polytheistic belief system. The major modern religions of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism do not allow for this, though many recognise minor sacred categories such as saints (created by a process called canonization). A mural crown (Latin: corona muralis) is a crown or headpiece representing city walls, towers, or fortresses. In classical antiquity, it was an emblem of tutelary deities who watched over a city, and among the Romans a military decoration. Later the mural crown developed into a symbol of European heraldry, mostly for cities and towns, and in the 19th and 20th centuries was used in some republican heraldry.
The Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life has ecclesial oversight of institutes of consecrated life.[2]
In Christianity, the three evangelical counsels, or counsels of perfection, are chastity (FUCK THIS), poverty (or perfect charity)*, and obedience (Reckless Abandonment)*.[1] As stated by Jesus in the canonical gospels,[2] they are counsels for those who desire to become "perfect" (τελειος, teleios).[3][4] The Catholic Church interprets this to mean that they are not binding upon all, and hence not necessary conditions to attain eternal life (heaven), but that they are "acts of supererogation", "over and above" the minimum stipulated in the biblical commandments.[5][6]
Catholics who have made a public profession to order their lives by the evangelical counsels, and confirmed this by public vows before their competent church authority (the act of religious commitment known as a profession), are recognised as members of the consecrated life.
The term political religion is based on the observation that sometimes political ideologies or political systems display features more commonly associated with religion.
Heavenly Virtue: Another phrase to describe this obedience to the voice is “reckless abandon.” It simply means that we let God do what God wants to do through us. It means if He tells us to do something or say something—we do it.
