A few weeks ago I was called on to do my first hedgehog rescue. I'm a volunteer driver for my local rescue. This guy was found beside a busy road in the daytime, so after his rehab he couldn't be released back where he was found. He joined the other resident hedgehog in my garden and has since been joined by another released rescue! 💚🦔💚🦔💚

Reference to number 3 = Foreshadowing

I have originally made that point in this long post about the interpretation of Macbeth story in the show, but I thought I'd make a separate post to highlight this.

There have been many references to "three" throughout the show so far and I believe they use this number to foreshadow something bad is going to happen.

To start with, we have the Triple Goddess, Three of Pentacles, Three of Swords etc.

I have also spotted the clock in the interrogation scene in ep.1 states 3.33. The painting used in that scene depicts the Three Witches from Macbeth - the very play where the witches predict Macbeth's demise. Famously, Shakespeare uses the symbolism of trinity throughout the Macbeth play as an idea that tragedy/death comes in threes (3 witches, 3 apparitions, 3 murders etc.).

Witch 1: Thrice the brinded cat hath mewed. Witch 2: Thrice and once the hedgepig whined. Witch 3: Harpier cries “’Tis time, ‘tis time.”

The first time a character is killed is in the THIRD episode. And Sharon's poster even shows the Triple Goddess on the bottle of wine (interestingly, in the actual episode the wine label just says Rioja... another little joke about Rio = death?).

Finally, in the latest episode Agatha is wearing a jersey with "03" on it. And guess what, Alice dies!

(There was another mention in the episode when Billy read the back of the rules that said "for ages 3 and up". While relevant, I think it's actually a little joke about how he is technically only 3 years old because Billy Maximoff was only created in the Hex 3 years ago)

So I guess going with this theme we will also have a third death - my prediction is that it will be Lilia...

Ok so basically:

Sonic-Bart: Both are carefree heroes, very neurodivergent, good with people but really like to spend time in their own head more, have their own way of showing affection, blunt and honest to a fault, very queer coded, run fast

Shadow-Thaddeus: both made in a lab for a clear purpose that they struggle with, have goals that go directly against Sonic/Bart, have to struggle with figuring out the morality of the ones directing them, generally have a mean attitude but also a large capacity for good, run fast while also having at some point needed to artificially boost their speed (Shadow uses these air skates that have jets that let him go faster, Inertia took those speed drugs at some point)

Silver-Jenni: Both from the future and equally anxious and impulsive, both often struggle with loneliness and being "of two time periods" so to speak, extremely socially awkward, both very motivated to do good, both have flight abilities (Flight ring for Jenni, naturally Psychokenisis for Silver)

But yeah they line up weirdly well

If I (finally) get to be a witch then I am going with either a giant possum or five hedgepigs (regular size). The giant possum would be large enough to ride. The five hedgepigs would be kept on my person and sometimes wander from pocket to hat to bag and back.

Specify in the tags please what species or breed of animal you would choose as a witches familiar if the most obvious were off the table
