Bob's Burgers Halloween specials ranked
(Because screw it, why not?)
11. Tina and the Real Ghost--This one's more awkward than funny. I honestly feel bad for Tina for falling in love with an empty box...and grow to hate Tammy for being so petty to steal the box away from her. Even the B-Plot of ghost hunters in the restaurant isn't all that funny. Honestly, the funniest bit is when Bob's unexpectedly swarmed with bugs after a brief moment of cockiness. Other than that, pretty weak episode.
10. The Wolf of Wharf Street--PROBABLY the most irresponsible Linda's been with the kids and Bob believing Teddy's a werewolf was a bit of a stretch. Still, some spooky atmosphere carries this one a bit, so I can't hate it THAT much.
9. Apple Gore-chard! (But Not Gory)--There need to be more episodes with Louise and Jessica. Their friendship is easy and cute in a lot of moments. Anyways, as for the episode, it's pretty standard. Some REAL Halloween stuff doesn't happen until half way through and the jokes aren't all that funny. There's barely any attention on the lesson, making it feel more like a waste of time if anything else. It's just Louise and Jessica's friendship that carries things if anything else (Seriously, MORE of that)
8. Pig Trouble in Little Tina--A great episode about peer pressure and with a fun subplot about Bob's gross ear wax. It's just that none of it screams HALLOWEEN to me. There's some spooky imagery, but a lot of this episode feels like something that could happen in ANY episode, especially Bob's subplot. Great episode, but not so great of a Halloween special.
7. Heartbreak Hotel-oween--This one's cute. That's all I can say.
6. Teen-a Witch--Tina trying to be a witch is more cute than it should be, even if the jokes aren't strong with this one. Thankfully the subplot of Bob obsessing over who's stealing his jack-o-lanterns is funny enough to carry it.
5. The Pumpkinening--Weird title, but it's an episode with Gayle. They're naturally weird, and this one's no exception as Linda and Gayle hunting down who knows that they smashed pumpkins from a contest. Add that with a warm ending and a great subplot of Bob dealing with the stress of being a house with GOOD candy, and you got something fun.
4. Nightmare on Ocean Avenue Street--The kids hunting down a candy kidnapper is fun and Bob and Teddy trying to show up an impressive handyman has some good laughs to it. Solid special.
3. Full Bars--It's always fun seeing the Belcher kids use their brand of chaos to do something good. The only thing that drags it down is the guinea pig murder mystery. Some good jokes are there, but I can't help but cringe as Teddy ruins his own party and the payoff isn't all that funny. That credit scene where Bob danced in the fat suit for Linda was cute as shit, though.
2. Fort Night--The introduction to Millie, and a great one at that as she tortures the kids who are in a situation that's...way more dangerous than you think in hindsight. They really were that close to death, huh? Still, a pretty empathetic episode as we all know there's no worse fate for a kid than missing Halloween and you REALLY want them to get out. And I'm sure some parents can relate to Bob and Linda's plight to make a costume for their kids and the payoff for this one is pretty good.
1. The Hauntening--A genuinely creepy and intense special for this show, where the jokes don't take away from the scares but add to them. This really feels like how these characters would react to a horrifying situation, making you fear for their lives even more. And even the big twist in the end doesn't ruin the episode, but adds to it, showing how much this family cares for each other and how much they'll do to make one of them happy. They might have gone a LITTLE far, but it's in that gray area where you can accept it. Being sweet and spooky is no other combination you can get from any other show except for this one, and I love it.
And that's all. Well, for now. Season 14 hasn't had its Halloween special yet. It's probably pulling a Simpsons and waiting until November for some reason. And I'm not waiting until then. This is the Halloween Special on MY blog, so there. Happy Halloween.

This might come out of left field, but as a demi-ace who also watches Bob’s Burgers, I’d love to see your ranking of Halloween episodes (assuming you haven’t posted one already).
My top three in no particular order are Nightmare On Ocean Avenue, Full Bars and Wolf Of Wharf Street! 🎃
Oooo I love that ask! And I don't think I've made a ranking of that already 🤔
It's a tough one and my opinion might change over time, but I think in my personal this would be how it goes (arguably there's a fair amount I haven't seen in a hot minute tho, and hopefully I'm not forgetting any!) :
The Hauntening
Nightmare On Ocean Avenue Street
Fort Night
The Wolf of Wharf Street
Full Bars
Tina And The Real Ghost
Pig Trouble In Little Tina
Apple Gore-chard (But Not Gory)
The Pumpkinening
Heartbreak Hotel-oween
Teen-a Witch

"Bob's Burgers" Season 11 Episode Ranking Rewatch (Long Post)
So, I've been rewatching "Bob's Burgers" from the beginning and ranking the episodes using the spreadsheet that @babsvibes created! If you want to know why I'm doing this or how I view the 1-5 rating scale, you can check out my Season 1 post! If you want to check out any of the other seasons, I've been using the "bob's burgers episode ranking rewatch" tag for all of them.
Now, on to Season 11:
Average (Mean) Score: 4.09
Mode (Most Common) Ranking: 4
Ranking Breakdown: 7 5s 10 4s 5 3s
Season as a Whole Thoughts:
This is the lowest rated season since Season 1. I don't by any stretch think it's horrible (I don't think that about Season 1, either). After all the way I use it a 4 is basically like a B, and a B season isn't that bad except, maybe, when compared to all the As that came before it.
For me, this episode just had a lot of episodes (the ones that got the 3s) that I found kind of dull. Not awful, just not that interesting to me personally. A lot of very small scale, "slice of life" type stories in this season. Some of them resonated a bit with me ("Steal Magazine-olias") others didn't ("Some Kind of Fender Benderful", "Tell Me Dumb Thing Good").
That said, you'll notice in some of the individual episode comments that some of these episodes grew on me upon rewatching, so maybe that'll happen with some of the other ones too!
Some thoughts on specific episodes (and feel free to ask if you want my thoughts on an episode I didn't comment on):
"Worms of In-Rear-ment": I think this might be one of my most controversial takes in this whole project but, I don't hate this episode! It seems to be one of the least popular eps of the show, but I enjoy it. It has quite a few funny lines, the hamster slide subplot is cute, I love all the Belchers' different ideas of what appropriate symphony attire is, I enjoy the Louise and Linda conflict. and Linda's motivation in this episode makes me think a lot of my own mom. I can get how no one in fall 2020 wanted to watch a story about an epidemic, but I'll be honest that I don't quite get why some people seem to think this episode is "too gross". Yes, Gene eats a tater tot that's been on the bathroom floor. We've previously seen him eat a taco on the toilet and eat breakfast naked. The kid's kinda gross, it's part of his charm. (Personally, Bob bleeding everywhere in "Heartbreak Hotel-oween" grosses me out more.)
"Fast Time Capsules at Wagstaff School": My favorite episode of the season- maybe the only episode this year that I remember loving straight away as soon as I saw it. This episode has it all: tons of Wagstaff students and staff, Louise and Tina conflict and reconciliation, silly competition between Bob and Linda, Louise's crush on Boo Boo (my favorite running gag), Henry Haber saying "and my regards to the morning zoo." Just wonderful! it also inspired one of my favorite jokes in one of my fics (the idea that "Weird Al" Yankovic wrote a "Someday We'll Spoon" parody called "Someday We'll Zoom" about how he hates video meetings.)
"Bob Belcher and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Kids": This episode reminds me of "Paraders of the Lost Float", in the sense that I was pretty sure I'd give it a 4 for most of the episode, but then the ending is so feel good that I bump it up to a 5.
"Diarrhea of a Poopy Kid": i generally love the "three story" episodes, and this is no exception. I particularly enjoy how this episode gives Bob a chance to tell one of the stories and the episode centers Bob and Gene's relationship and how they bond over food. Also, I love to use of the supporting characters in the stories, especially Courtney and Rudy. And the line "Chief of Cats Mr. Business" will always crack me up!
"An Incon-Wheelie-ient Truth": I just love the fact that they told the story of what happened to the Wheelie Mammoth! I also enjoy how this episode emphasizes that Al and Gloria's lousy parenting is part of why Gayle turned out why she did. And this episode just has a lot of little gags that crack me up, particularly in the flea market scenes (I love the different movie posters at the booth that has Wheelie.)
"Mr. Lonely Farts": The "Gene home alone" plot is a great exploration of his character, but what really puts this one over the top for me is the Bob, Teddy, and Louise adventure to Adam Appliances. I love the way they play off each other and the fact that Louise sort of convinces two adults that this boring dude who sells appliances online might be a murderer.
"Fingers-loose": This episode has really grown on me. I remember my reaction when first watching it was basically just "huh? A story about finger dancing? Ooookay..." Then when I first rewatched it, Tina's film noir-esque narration really amused me and I enjoyed the episode as a whole much more. In rewatching it for this project, I really appreciated how well it centered an aspect of Tina's role in the family dynamic- usually being a part of the crowd watching Gene and Louise rather than being the star- and realized that it's actually a really great Tina story- and all around episode!
"Bridge Over Troubled Rudy": This might be the episode of the show where my opinion has grown the most. I was kind of disappointed by it when it first aired: my reaction was essentially "Finally! Another episode centering on Louise and Rudy! Oh wait, it's just sort of a rehashing of 'House of 1,000 Bounces'..." It was only when I rewatched it first (probably as part of my "all Rudy episodes" rewatch) when I noticed that rather than being a rehash of "House of 1,000 Bounces" it really shows their friendship growing beyond where it was in "House of 1,000 Bounces". In "House of 1,000 Bounces" Rudy keeps his unhappiness with the bounce house heist kind of quiet until he explodes when they are in Ranger Jail- and Louise then fixes everything through a grand gesture but never actually apologizes. In this episode, Rudy is much more direct, much earlier on about his unhappiness (literally his second line of the episode is saying how stressed he is), and Louise comes up with a grand gesture...but also realizes that the grand gesture is kind of dumb and she should really just apologize to him. And I love that. It shows them growing as individuals and as friends. Rudy is not always the best at standing up for himself and Louise is not always the best at caring about others' feelings or letting others know that she cares about them, but they both step out of their comfort zones and grow a little bit because they care about their friendship. (Have I written a ridiculous amount this episode here? Yes. Am I capable of writing much more about it? Yes )
"Steal Magazine-olias": Very much a "show about nothing" plot ("Gene steals a magazine from the dentist's office? That's the episode?") but I think it's sweet. Not funny enough or moving enough to be a 5 for me, but I think Gene's motivation here is really touching, as is the way it resonates with Dr. Yap (one of my favorite recurring characters...in the Non-Wagstaff School Division, at least). Also, Tina's infatuation with the sexy fox scientist is SOOOOOO in character and hilarious, and I also enjoy Teddy in the bird poop subplot.
Random thoughts (stuff that doesn't affect the ratings):
-One of the things that this rewatch has really made me appreciate about the show is that there's basically nothing about it that I flat out hate. Even a character I dislike, in a meh episode can be a source of amusement. Why am I mentioning this here? Linda's parents are my least favorite recurring characters. "The Terminator II: Terminals of Endearment" is a very meh episode, in my book. And yet, there's this moment in that episode where Louise tells Al they have to go inside and he responds: "Oh good, I like going inside places. Like a big shot." And that made me laugh and stayed stuck in my head and for the next week or so, whenever I went into the building where my office is, I kept thinking "Like a big shot."
-That's all for this season. See you in Season 12! Until then, my regards to the morning zoo!

I saw Season 11's Halloween Episode, Heartbreak Hotel-oween again today. It's one of the Halloween episodes I can say I really liked (to be fair, I like most of their Halloween episodes with one slight exception).
I particularly liked the Blood Donation subplot. Bob is me there. I deal horribly with needles, and so it's a good thing I've barely ever had to have bloodwork. I'm not too bad with blood (I bite my nails and have seen blood that way), but I am bad with pain. I feel everything. I feel the needle no matter what. I always feel it. My Pain Tolerance is ridiculously low. Just like my tolerance for scary things, it's virtually nonexistent. I feel confident now admiring I'm a coward. I know I am, but i don't think it's a big deal.

Heartbreak Hotel-oween (s11e04): Linda and a very squeamish Bob donate blood at a vampire-themed blood mobile.
V for Valentine-detta (s8e08): After a rough breakup on Valentine's Day, the Belcher women have a limo girls' night out to make Tina feel better; Bob and Gene have a trapeze experience that brings them closer.
Father of the Bob (s5e06): At Bob's father's Christmas party, Bob and "Big Bob" rehash an old argument and try to outdo each other in the kitchen. Meanwhile, the kids compete to find the best gift for their dad.

Hello! I don't know who you are but your post showed up while I was scrolling through the bobs burgers tag.
What's your favorite Bob's Burgers episode? Mine is either Sheesh! Cab, Bob? or The Plight Before Christmas.
Also sorry to hear about your arm. I hope you get better soon!
Thanks for the well wishes! Sheesh! Cab Bob is a favorite of mine too! Here's some of my favorites in no particular order.
Food truckin
Wharf horse part 1 and 2
Glued, where's my bob?
Loft in bedslation
Honorable mention to basically all Halloween eps, I especially love Heartbreak Hotel-oween. The bleakening part 1 and 2 also have a special spot for me because of we are all lights.
