Something about Alastor always keeping his vest buttoned up while Vox's vest is never buttoned up.

Not only that but we quite literally see Vox outside of his vest while he's alone with the Vees being rather happy and carefree unlike Alastor where he seems uncomfortable outside of his vest.

Closed off and open despite their similarities and differences.

Man... is there anything better than lees? My god... just their desire to be tickled makes them so cute. There are so many types of lees, too, and they've all got their own special charms...

There are bratty lees... the ones who taunt, provoke, and hassle you until you finally snap... and they know they're in for it. It's that flash of fear, that giddy, uncontrollable grin or shriek as they either run, cower, or hide... usually laughing before you've even reached them... god. The way they squirm as you start tickling them, squealing and thrashing as if you aren't giving them exactly what they want? Ooooough. Usually, they have the most panicked and wild laughter, full of squeaks and snorts. Point me to the person who could resist that, because it surely isn't me... I'd tickle the daylights out of a lee like this.

Then there are shy lees... and if you know me, you know how I feel about them. Ough... god, they're just so sincere. They want to be tickled so badly, but they aren't bold enough to ask, nor to provoke. They just drop hints here and there... leave spots unprotected... move themselves into compromising positions, intentionally, hoping you'll notice... these lees usually fluster terribly from compliments, too. Being called cute or adorable (which is an understatement when it comes to lees, to tell you the truth) makes these lees turn the loveliest shade of red. Sometimes their laughter is bashful and giggly... sometimes it's shockingly loud, given their soft-spoken demeanor... but one thing's for sure: You'd better establish a safeword, because when these lees squeal for you to stop, they absolutely do not mean it.

Perhaps the rarest, but nonetheless precious, type of lee is the shameless lee. These lees want you to tickle them... and they'll let you know it, too. No head games, no taunting, no beating around the bush... these lees are bold enough to ask. Sometimes they're still a bit shy, twisting their feet, looking away and flushing as they slowly draw out each word: "Will you, ah... erm... t-tickle me, please...?" Ough, lord... honey, it would be a privilege. Sometimes they're playful, all but demanding that you make them squeal: "Hehe, tickle me, tickle me!" Well, alright, you talked me into it...~

There are so many more, too... so many combinations of adorable traits and behaviors to enjoy... I just can't get enough...

Thinking about early on when Lan Wangji was trying to figure out if Wei Wuxian was back, and the idea that it took him a while to reconcile the Wei Wuxian that came back to life with the Wei Wuxian that died was because the one that died is nothing like the one that came back to life. And it is that overwhelming thought that almost brings him to his knees, because “Oh, it’s not just the man Iet die that came back, but it is also the boy that I first loved. He is not lost to me forever.”

Ok I think I’ve figured it out (probably not but I'm connecting dots !!)

Buck misunderstood the assignment right - but we never really knew what that assignment was, we had lots of theories about it being his heart - him thinking that it was his heart that needed fixing or working on etc. But he’s allergic to naproxen - he’s allergic to the drug they give to those who have heart problems (because its safer - thanks @rogerzsteven for that info in this post )

Bucks heart has never been the problem - that’s why he drew one that was full of sunshine and rainbows - his heart is there full of love and joy - but he thought that that wasn’t right or enough and so he’s spent all this time trying to understand where there is nothing to understand. No what Bucks assignment is is to trust in the love he receives from others, trust that he is valued and wanted and needed - his brain is what gets in his way, not his heart - the voices in his head that tell him he’s too much or not enough or whatever other negatives they are telling him.

Bucks assignment was never about his heart, it was always about him trusting his own voice, his own mind and actually what his heart has been and is still telling him

If you have not read The Stranding (and by extension, The Rescue) by the darling @belethlegwen you are deeply missing out! The sheer amount of content is truly a blessing, and considering its still being updated?? ASDFJHSLK

Belle is an incredible story teller, and this shines through in her writing so well I feel like I'm getting flashbanged by talent.

You know that typical writing advice about not introducing too many characters, especially early on as it divides the reader's attention?? BELLE STOMPS ON THAT.

I genuinely can't get over how much I am in love with her characters. I must admit- I am the typical reader with one too many bonks to the head that can't seem to focus on/ remember/ care about more than 3-5 characters- that is not the case here.

Every character she introduces has my interest piqued- each one feeling alive and at home in their setting. And its not just likeable in the sense of "oh I'd be friends with them" (and she absolutely has many characters I'd love to be friends with)- its these raw and real characterizations that make you like them as a character.

They have their own mystery to them too- even if its not direct. Her characters make you wonder more about their past and why they act the way they do. They can be frustrating, immature, stubborn, even cruel- but they feel so deeply real.

Both written works from Sizeable Ship Wrecks are among my favorite things I've read- both inside and outside of the G/t sphere to the point I feel as though I could shamelessly recommend this to someone outside of the G/t community and be confident they would enjoy it.
