The film features Konkona Sen Sharma as Meenakshi Iyer, a Tamil Iyer Brahmin who is a Hindu, and Rahul Bose as Raja Chowdhury, a Bengali Muslim wildlife photographer. The story revolves around these two lead characters during a fateful bus journey amidst the carnages of a communal strife in India.

#detroit become human #gavin reed #chris miller #neither of them is my overall favorite but i do really super love chris - hes up there #also i went into playing this knowing one (1) thing and that was you get to knock gavin out cold in the evidence locker #thats the only thing i knew about this game #ive read some fanfic (before i played the game) and i appreciate that the fics i read that had chris in them #were all like youre the straight friend or just youre the only straight i like #almost unanimously ???? like ? hes got a son and i like that you (fandom) allowed him to be a wife guy #chris was chill and i appreciate that #i missed a lot of the interactions and i messed up a lot somehow though i thought i was being nice and good #shocking no one my favorite guy is a side character and not one of the protags #i want to draw him but i couldnt think of anything dialogue wise for him and i really wanted to draw Stupid Men #and for my run at least im like wow gavin isnt even that bad of an antagonist lmao #like granted i never had a coworker aim a gun at me but i have been threatened for a stabbing before so #anyway sweats nervously at posting dbh content after being known for ... not that sort of game #good lord the stress i felt every interaction that i got an affection down ?? my otome exp is only positive reinforcement signs #where you get lil blossoms or hearts when you make the correct route choice and get nothing if not #the red downs were awful

What I find a bit frustrating is just how much of the lore was irretrievably lost from RDR2 with several game mechanics and activities being cut from the final release.

The following audio bits can still be found in the game's files tagged as GREET_DUTCH_CHESS. Apparently, Dutch was supposed to be a rather avid chess player and, for whatever reason, there are recordings of Charles playing with him. At the same time, there's nothing left of this in Dutch's audio recordings, so it's only Hosea and Charles that still have those.

i saw a post saying boom was good bc it feels like it could be done with any doctor/companion duo and honestly that was one of the things i felt was wrong with it

#in a show with a title character that could be Literally Anyone and a companion sharing the lead that could be Literally Anyone #i value the little moments that set this duo apart from the rest. ESPECIALLY when it comes to returning writers like rtd/moff #fifteen and ruby felt a little too eleven/twelve and clara adjacent in boom. in both their dialogue and characterization #space babies also landed a little weird at first bc it lifted a bit from end of the world BUT the scenes that fifteen and ruby #had to themselves. like ruby getting covered in snot and fifteen laughing. or fifteen and ruby looking after the Space Babies #or fifteen going out of his way to save the monster bc that monster is the only one of its kind Just Like Him Fr #that stuff is so good and its also something we haven't seen from another nuwho doctor. the vulnerable bleeding-heart empathy #and a dynamic w a companion that is basically 'two troublemakers that just deeply love fun and adventure and getting into trouble together'#oh yeah and also the devil's chord was peak fiction because it touches on fifteen's renewed connection and love for humanity #and marries it to ruby being a musician and how music like any art is the expression of the human soul etc etc #WHAT MAKES A DOCTOR WHO STORY GOOD TO ME IS PARTLY HOW THE PREMISE TIES INTO THE DOCTOR AND COMPANION'S CHARACTERS #IT HAS TO FEEL LIKE IT WAS TAILOR MADE TO THEM. ELSE IT WONT LAND RIGHT TO ME #i hate the take that they should've saved wild blue yonder for a fifteen episode bc #the tension is hinged on how well the doctor/companion know each other. u have a level of it that u can ONLY get #with fourteen and donna who are two halves of a whole soul but have also spent much more time missing the other than knowing them #im not rewatching fifteen's eps rn until a week later when i can watch it w my qpp but #rn i still feel a stronger sense of fifteen and ruby's characters from all the rtd-written eps rather moffat #which like. i get that a lot of that is my personal dislike of moffat's writing style but still #dr who #15 era #dw spoilers

me after editing the aau prologue for the bajillionth time

#skulduggery pleasant #HELLO. original post for the first time in a gajillion years. but anyway #i was re-reading books 2 and 3 and i was like. i forgot how .immature he sounds #he says “like” every other word and his vocabulary isnt really extensive #similar to me in some ways. and im a teenager #but also like. it didnt feel ..forced #his dialogue in 2 & 3 felt super natural like yeah he was melodramatic but it felt comfortable like #he was speaking from his heart..#but as they go on he starts using these 10 dollar words in strange places and his cadence #changed from “egotistical criminal” to .Vampire #and it feels less like something he would actually say and more like an author trying to make him sound #uppity by forcing these fancy speeches into his mouth #do u know what i mean..#i keep thinking he would not fucking say that. as i work my way back thru the series #killer supreme i MISS you girl..#scapegrace #vaurien scapegrace

#so dark out here #umm dead boy detectives review here we go! first two episodes were definitely the worst of the series. both are kinda weirdly paced and #the exposition is done poorly in places. overall from episode 3 onwards it gets much much better with pacing and show dont tell #do not understand for the life of me why they made crystal palace american #kassius nelson (<- crystals actress) was very good in places and kinda ehhh in others and im 90% the issue for most of the latter moments #was just that her american accent is not great. sorry they did that to you queen #dialogue was a bit dodge sometimes as well #stuff i liked now! the plot felt quite solid and i really enjoyed the monster of the week approach i think thats the perfect way to #do a dbd adaptation. was a bit annoyed they immediately went to america but port townsend was an interesting setting and all the #supernatural elements/characters fit in nicely #major props cos i feel like the show mostly pulled off the emotionally charged moments without getting corny and the dialogue was generally #good in those moments #particularly charles/crystals heart to heart in ep. 3 and like the entirety of episode 7 (<- ep 7 was brilliant)#overall very fun watch and i feel that the more irritating typical YA show garb was at least a bit offset by them being willing to get #quite dark in places #bit sad people are mostly posting about edwin becos charles was my favourite. has been entertaining watching americans scramble around #the cultural differences in the show #shaking my inbox like a maraca. if anyone wants to talk at me abt the show i will love you forever #.log

#interview with the vampire #i just found and watched a video on youtube that is a lestat hate and rant about his fans and it was so SO cathartic #i dont even agree with everything said and was naturally at first skeptic of a youtuber's opinion #but finally FINALLY there is a louder voice of someone who can see things about this show from another point of view #even if it's a pov that's more strict than the one i use to analyze media myself #i thought i was going crazy when seeing the fan opinions surrounding this show. mostly out there but sometimes here too #like yeah with how popular loustat is i knew there would be plenty of bias for the angle that flatters it #but the things ive seen lestat & loustat fans say.... the longing for eye bleach was real #but finally someone is there to underline that hey. that very present very intentional racial and power dynamics are in fact very real.#do in fact influence the characters accordingly. and does not come out of thin air or just 'the circumstances'#it's valid to explore the other side of the coin in louis' character of course. but it doesnt mean that it's not there #mind you. all of that shit louis described? is while insisting he was not 'an abused person'#and its so satisfying to see how someone can pass all the bullshit and have the serenity of heart to recognize that #regardless of everything else. there is a reason why louis felt like lestat was a predator and he was being preyed on #that is because he largely was. lestat *was* a vampire on the hunt. an emotional vampire to boost along with the more literal sense #he might disagree to be doing that on a conscious level and he might have clear reasons to have the instincts he does. he still did that #thank you for also calling bullshit on the reunion scene dialogue and parts of the trial in how it was trying to frame certain things #its the main reason why s2 didnt fully work for me. like jesus christ.#that man literally was part of a ploy to murder their daughter. BE SERIOUS. and im supposed to be mad about armand's involvement??#i also felt so seen when he talked about how dickmatized penis delirious to the point of frustration louis is #there is so much to be grateful for. in highlighting the weight of lestat's involvement vs armand's #in talking about louis' family's side of things. expressing how people for some reason love to call armand a mastermind lying manipulator #when the first culprit of that is the blonde bitch??#honestly the irritation i feel towards many of the fans of this show and the major opinions was such #that i was feeling bad just be seeing iwtv content around and i dont wanna feel like that. i like the show so much.#this was soul clearing in a way. even if. again. i dont fully agree with everything #love how its so clear how so many people try to invoke the books when trying to dissuade him from thinking ill of lestat #because thats exactly my experience too LMAO. talk about a weak limpdick argument #and people who try to invoke unreliable narrator are not much better #and the whole story is made up from the writer's head and nothing matters! see i can do this too

I'm torn with khux/khdr/kh3's developments with Ventus and Vanitas because part of me always loved that they are 2 halves of the same coin, and how connected they were. But I also think the idea of Ventus and Vanitas being ancient beings of light or darkness is also sooo coooool

#kh spoilers #kingdom hearts spoilers #i gotta be more aware of what I say if any fuckin text post can show up in a tag/search result...#the ONLY way I'll be 10000% happy is if both Ven and Vanitas are ORIGINAL pieces of the shattered X blade from MoM's childhood #explaining why they made the X Blade on their own (not 7vs13 like kh3) during BbS #I ALSO need Nomura to explain why Darkness was in Vens heart in ReMind if Vanitas had been torn out like 10 years prior #he bend over backwards to explain how Terra could be the Guardian-- he better do it again for this LOL #Idk KHUX just felt SOOO thought out #but KHDR getting an update a month later with CHANGED DIALOGUE #idk.... it feels like Nomura's slipping for me... I hope I'm wrong
