How to Lose Weight While Keeping Muscle
If you really want to get in good shape, and want to lose fat, you’re probably afraid that you’ll lose muscles. In order to avoid this, we’ll give you a few tips that will help you lose fat, but also maintain or even build more muscles.
If you implement every tip that we mention here, i’m sure you’ll lose fat whilst maintaining those muscles. This blog post will help you understand how you can use exercise and eating plan to burn fat, without losing muscle mass.
What It Takes To Lose Fat
Well first of all, you need to consume less calories than you burn a day whilst exercising consistently. You need to exercise daily, because if you don’t do that you’ll lose fat and muscles at the same time. Even though it’s almost impossible to lose fat on particular part of your body, you can still lower your overall body fat percentage.
How To Maintain Muscle
In order to maintain muscles while losing fat, you need to push yourself more in the gym. Not everybody will have same results, just focus on your workout and diet plan, and you’ll achieve your goals.
Schedule Recovery Time
You should give yourself enough time to recover between workouts, especially if you’re in caloric deficit and pushing yourself hard in the gym. Getting enough sleep is very important, which will lead to increased energy levels and better performance in the gym. 
Don’t Restrict
Another important thing to mention is to not follow any type of eating plan that is too restrictive. If you do that, you will give up easily. I know we mention to push yourself hard in the gym, but that doesn’t mean you should overtrain. Avoid any workout plan that is too hard to follow, and will cause injury. 
Exercise
Exercise is one of the most important things when it comes to maintaining muscle mass. Research done in 2018 examined the effect of calorie restriction while doing resistance and endurance types of training in adults who were obese.
Research shows that those people who followed a diet plan along with doing some type of exercise, avoided muscle loss because of caloric deficit. Most of their diet had 55% carbohydrates, 15% protein and 30% fat. But research still haven’t found out which type of training is most effective for avoiding muscle loss.
Eat Healthy
You should include more protein in your diet, and stay away from unhealthy fat sources. In a 2016 study, people who maintained more lean muscle mass and lost more fat were eating high protein diet. 
Try Supplements
You can try chromium picolinate supplement, which has been proven to lose weight, hunger and blood sugar levels. Also another supplement which we recommend is Ipamorelin, which has been proven to improve fat loss. You can find ipamorelin at Peptide Shop. But before taking any supplement it would be a good idea to to talk with your doctor about it. 
Do Cardio 
Doing cardio is also important for losing fat and maintain muscles. Do moderate to high-intensity cardio for 150 minutes a week. You can do cycling, running, boxing, soccer basketball etc. At the end of the day, choose what you’re most interested in. 
Increase Intensity
Increase intensity in order to challenge yourself and burn more calories. To effectively build strength, you must train till failure. 
Continue to Strength Train
Do any type of strength training. Weightlifting, Calisthenics, Resistance band exercises. It’s up to you, all of them are a great option. Always start with lower weight and lower reps, then gradually increase it to heavier weights and more repetitions. Make sure to target every single muscle group. Target each muscle group 2 times a week. Strength training is crucial for maintain muscles, so make sure to have some strength training plan.
Healthy Eating
In order to lose weight while preserving muscles, make sure to have a healthy diet plan. Also if you eat healthier foods, you’re less likely to overeat. Before your workout make sure you’re hydrated.
Avoid sugary drinks, and have some easily digestible carbohydrate food, which will give a huge energy boost. After 30 - 60 minutes of finishing your daily workout, eat some meal that has proteins, carbohydrates and fats. Carbohydrates are great for boosting energy after a workout, and the best sources of carbohydrates are: fresh fruit, whole wheat pasta, milk, grains and so on. Proteins will help you recover and build more muscles.
The best sources of protein are: chicken breast, eggs, nuts and protein shake. Also include healthy fats in your diet. The best sources of healthy fats are: avocados, nuts, dark chocolate, fatty fish and cheese.

I ended my coffee ban. 21 days, I was coffee-free. The longest I've gone since this addiction became a serious problem for me is 89 days. I was feeling so dejected yesterday. So, here we are.

went on a really nice walk today and met some goats 🥺 saw so many meadow birds! highlights were a lapwing, a sweet group of yelling redshanks, a LOUD reed bunting, soooo many baby geese (and one anxious-looking adult pair with only one baby 😫) and a passing hawk. it started raining near the end as u can tell from the clouds in the pics, but we had suuuch a good time 💚✨🍀
