I like to think that Vulcans who come to understand that Humans just can’t try to process emotions the same way as them, it’s just healthiest to let it out in harmless ways, decide that venting and stuff should be taken just as seriously as Vulcan’s meditation time, and will encourage the Humans around them to complain about what’s upsetting them

shiklah and wade didn't actually marry for love, exactly - i mean, they were in love, yeah, sure. but they actually married to thwart dracula.

i don't think wade would've put a ring on it if it weren't for plot reasons. but i think they genuinely did love each other - i don't think shiklah loved wade just because he was a murderer - she loved him for the way he was, and i think she started getting frustrated because wade started changing and getting distracted with other things.

not only that, but wade - kind of honestly didn't care a whole lot about things that were important to shiklah - like her people, and her kingdom... they were kind of just - from different worlds, living separate lives. i don't think wade ever really genuinely made an effort to be part of shiklah's world, really.

i don't know if wade and shiklah really were compatible - just on the basis of like... there's just... no common ground. there's no common ground. they like each other, they're attracted to each other, but like, they're never going to really be involved enough in each other's lives for it to be sustainable. wade has little interest in shiklah's life, and shiklah has little interest in wade's stupid human troubles either.

they didn't even really part on a terrible note either. they hooked up, post-divorce -

and i think they probably still do. on-and-off again, probably.

my mother is like i don’t care if you have a healthy relationship with food and your body i will still do my darnedest best to try and give you an eating disorder by commenting on your food intake when you do eat but also commenting on your food intake when you DONT eat because oops you are so anxious to eat in front of your parents now you simply lose your appetite when you have to have a meal with them

this is random but i just only properly took notice that since eating the like hundred dollar cat food herby isn't like all puffed up and bloated anymore he genuinely ISN'T chubby at all he's a totally healthy weight which i've always known but he looks so healthy :') ... that's good to know that the food is actually properly good for him idk
