A continuous battle and I am scared(URGENT) - you can click on the image to direct you to the Ko-Fi Site.
Dear Friends, Right now I feel despair, and hopelessness. And I feel so tired. I deeply apologize for tagging you all again, please don't get mad. I just really needed help.đ˘đ˘ I just got my life back, and recently recovered from my debts from my previous battle in between 2021 and mid 2023. I really felt so ashamed in writing this, because I am avoiding as much as I can to ask help financially again.Â
You were there for me during my darkest hours, and for that, I will be eternally grateful. But now, I find myself in a situation more dire than ever before, and I am trembling with fear as I implore you to lend me your aid once again.
The video you see attached to this post is a painful reminder of the recent loss I've endured. Uncle Dindo joined our creator last March 24, 2024, after battling Stage 4 Lung Cancer for a month. His passing has left a void in our souls, and also drowned us in debts too. I am helping with expenses as much as I can, that it also drowned me. My Father died of the same illness as well. I made a post more than a month ago with the Title: FIGHTING AGAINST CANCER sadly we still have zero donation and sales from our Emotes and Digital Stickers sale.Â
I do not know how to approach all of you again, but I am so scared right now. The reason I made this new post is I've been doing my best to make ends meet, trying to loan to a bank to be able for me to start my Treatment again(but mostly got rejected). I am already back to work eversince the fourth quarter of 2023, but the income is not enough as I earn only $12-$15/day with 12 hours plus of work. I am really really scared right now as I am writing this. First, I need to settle my rent within 12-24 hours which cost $500(water & electricity is unstable). My landlord is threatening me that he will lock the house, kicking me out and leaving my pets behind. My cats and my dog are my life. Update(05/02/2024): I asked helped from a local council here to help me talk to my landlord. We have an agreement and I am given enough time until Saturday of this week - May 4, 2024. To settle the rent and for me and my pets to leave the apartment, we found a new one but we need a 2 month deposit. And payment for a rental truck. I need to pay my landlord too - so, I can be able to transfer to another home, and he will let me leave peacefully. Which will have another cost, as I need to rent a small truck because I have my pets with me. I have written this on my previous blogs before that I have been sexually harassed(this SCARES me so much too), and stalked by a former friend. He was jailed, but he is back again(already reported it to police). But for safety transferring home is needed. My trauma is still not yet recovered. We still need to prioritize as well my Aunt's treatment, as her health is rapidly deteriorating too(Stage 3 breast Cancer is advancing, her right breast has already been removed). And I need to start mine again, it spread in other parts of my body(I am holding on). I'm really scared right now. If you can spare anythingâmoney, support, anything at allâit would mean the world to me. I hate asking, but I don't know what else to do. Any amount is appreciated, or you can purchase from my Small Shop as well. Thank you so much. Please take Care. Love, Jasky P.S. Sorry if my writing sounds scattered. I don't have proper sleep at the moment.
Sorry for tagging again, please do not get mad at me. I really help so badly. Reposting, or if you have any at least $5 or buy stickers it will really mean a lot to us, to me.

LETTERS FROM AN AMERICAN
March 18, 2024
HEATHER COX RICHARDSON
MAR 19, 2024
It seems to me that the news tends to be slow on weekends during the Biden administration, while Mondays are a firehose. (In contrast, Trumpâs people tended to dump news in the middle of the night, after Fox News Channel personality Sean Hannityâs show was over, which may or may not have been a coincidence.)Â
So, lots going on today as the Biden administration continues to make the case that a democratic government can work for ordinary Americans while Trump and his supporters insist that a country run by such an administration is an apocalyptic nightmare.Â
First, economic analyst Steven Rattner reported today that according to The Economist, since the end of 2019 the American economy has grown about 8%, while the European Union has grown about 3%, Japan 1%, and Britain not at all. Rattner and economist Brendan Duke reported that entrepreneurship in the U.S. is booming, with 5.2 million âlikely employerâ business applications filed between January 2021 and December 2023, more than a 33% increase over those filed between 2017 and 2019.Â
Economists Justin Wolfers and Arin Dube noted that, as Wolfers wrote, â[f]or the first time in forever, real wage gains are going to those who need them most.â Wages have gone up for all but the top 20% of Americans, whose wages have fallen, reducing inequality.Â
Federal Trade Commission (FTC) head Lina Khan announced that after the FTC challenged a set of AstraZeneca inhaler patents last September as being improperly listed, today AstraZeneca said it would cap patientsâ out-of-pocket costs for its inhalers at $35, down from hundreds. Earlier this month, Boehringer Ingelheim did the same.
The Environmental Protection Agency today announced it was banning asbestos, which is linked to more than 40,000 deaths a year in the U.S. and was already partly banned, but which is still used in a few products. More than 50 other countries already ban it.Â
Also today, President Joe Biden issued an executive order to advance womenâs health research to integrate womenâs health into federal research initiatives, strengthening data collection and making funding available for research in a comprehensive effort to equalize attention to menâs and womenâs health across their lifespans. The federal government did not require womenâs health to be included in federally funded medical research until 1993. In a speech today, First Lady Jill Biden recalled that in the early 1970s, researchers studying estrogenâs effect in preventing heart attacks selected 8,341 people for the study. All of them were men.Â
Last month, First Lady Biden announced $100 million in funding for research into womenâs health, and last Thursday Vice President Kamala Harris visited a Planned Parenthood clinic that provides abortion care in addition to breast cancer screening, fibroid care, and contraceptive care. She noted that womenâs reproductive health has been in crisis since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in June 2022, with women in some states unable to access the care they need.
Former president Trump, who is now the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, prompted some of the economic reporting I noted above when he tried to spark attacks on President Joe Biden by asking on social media if people feel better off now than they were four years ago. This was perhaps a mistaken message, since four years ago we were in the early days of the coronavirus pandemic. Supermarket shelves were empty, toilet paper was hard to find, healthcare professionals were wearing garbage bags and reusing masks because the Trump administration had permitted the strategic stockpile to run low, deaths were mounting, the stock market had crashed, and the economy had ground to a halt.Â
On this day four years ago, I recorded that âmore than 80 national security professionals broke with their tradition of non-partisanship to endorse former Vice President Joe Biden for president, saying that while they were from all parties and disagreed with each other about pretty much everything else, they had come together to stand against Trump.â
Here in the present, Trump appears to be getting more desperate as his problems, including his apparent growing difficulty speaking and connecting with his audience, mount. Last week, in an interview, he echoed Republican lawmakers and pundits when he suggested he was open to cutting Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, something Republican lawmakers try to avoid saying to general audiences because it is hugely unpopular. Trump has since tried to repair that damage, for example, when he insisted on Saturday that it was he, rather than Biden, who would protect those programs. (In fact, Biden has called for expanding the social safety net, not contracting it, and last year forced Republicans to back off from proposed cuts.)Â Â
Saturdayâs speech illustrated the degree to which Trumpâs rhetoric has become more profane and apocalyptic as he vows revenge on those he sees as his enemies. Campaigning in Vandalia, Ohio, for his chosen Senate candidate, Trump suggested that certain migrants âare not people.â Then he said he would put tariffs of 100% on cars manufactured in Mexico by Chinese companies for sale in the U.S., âif I get elected. Now, if I don't get elected, it's going to be a bloodbath for the wholeâthat's going to be the least of it. It's going to be a bloodbath for the country.â
By Sunday, Trumpâs embrace of the word âbloodbathâ had created a firestorm. Surrogates insisted that he was talking about the auto industry alone, but as scholar of rhetoric Jen Mercieca and legal commentator Asha Rangappa note, Trump is a master at giving himself enough plausible deniability for his supporters to claim that, as Rangappa put it, âhe wasnât saying what he was saying. I know what he meant. He knows what he meant. You know what he meant.â In the same speech Saturday, Trump called those convicted of violence on January 6, 2021, âhostagesâ and âpatriots,â and has said he would pardon them, appearing to endorse violence to return him to power.
This morning, Trumpâs lawyers told a court that Trump cannot come up with either the money or a bond for the $454 million plus interest he owes in penalties and disgorgement after he and the Trump Organization were found guilty of fraud in a Manhattan court earlier this year. The lawyers say they have approached 30 different companies to back the bond, and they have all declined. They will not issue a bond without cash or stock behind it. Trump's real estate holdings, which are likely highly leveraged, arenât enough.
Last year, Trump said under oath that he had âsubstantially in excess of 400 million in cash,â and that amount was âgoing up very substantially every month.â Apparently, that statement was a lie, or the money has evaporated, or Trump doesnât want to use it to pay this court-ordered judgment on top of the $91.6 million bond he posted earlier this month in the second E. Jean Carroll case.
Timothy OâBrien of Bloomberg notes that Trumpâs desperate need for cash makes him even more of a national security threat than his retention of classified documents made it clear he already was. â[T]he going is likely to get rough for Trump as this plays out,â OâBrien writes, âand heâs likely to become more financially desperate with each passing day,â making him âeasy prey for interested lendersâand an easy mark for overseas interests eager to influence US policy.â
This morning, Josh Dawsey of the Washington Post reported that Trump is turning to his 2016 campaign manager Paul Manafort to advise him in 2024. Dawsey notes that the campaignâs focus appears to be on the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee in July, which suggests Trumpâs people are concerned that his nomination will be contested. Manafort has been known as a âconvention fixerâ since 1976.
Manafort is also the key link between the 2016 Trump campaign and Russian operatives. Manafort worked for many years for Ukrainian politician Viktor Yanukovich, who was closely tied to Russian president Vladimir Putin. When Ukrainians threw Yanukovich out of office in 2014, Manafort was left with large debts to Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska. In 2016, Manafort began to work for Trumpâs campaign. An investigation by a Republican-dominated Senate Intelligence Committee into the links between Trumpâs campaign and Russia determined that Manafort had shared polling data from the Trump camp with his partner, Konstantin Kilimnik, who the senators assessed was a Russian operative. Â
In 2018, as part of Special Counsel Robert Muellerâs investigation, Manafort was found guilty of hiding millions of dollars he had received for lobbying on behalf of Yanukovych and his pro-Russian political party, then getting loans through false financial records when Yanukovych lost power. A judge sentenced him to more than seven years in prison.
Trump pardoned Manafort in December 2020, shortly after losing the presidential election.

Early Detection Saves Lives: The Significance of Oral Cancer Screenings
In todayâs world, where health awareness is becoming increasingly prevalent, we often hear about the importance of cancer screenings. Screenings for breast, lung, colon, and prostate cancers are commonly recognized and frequently discussed. Yet, an equally critical health check that merits increased focus is the examination for oral cancer.
Oral cancer, though not as widely highlighted, constitutes a serious and potentially fatal ailment impacting numerous individuals annually. In this article, weâll explore the significance of oral cancer screenings, their role in early detection, and why they should be a routine part of your dental care.
Understanding Oral Cancer
To grasp the significance of these screenings, itâs essential to first comprehend what oral cancer entails. This malignancy can manifest in any area of the oral cavity, including the lips, back of the throat, tongue, gums, inner cheeks, as well as the ceiling or base of the mouth. Oral cancer initiates from atypical cellular proliferation, which can form a mass and potentially metastasize if not addressed promptly, underscoring the importance of early discovery.
The Role of Your Dentist
Your Ralston dentist is not only concerned with your teeth and gums; they play a vital role in monitoring your oral health, including the early detection of oral cancer. In the course of a routine dental visit, your practitioner in the 80002 area will conduct an examination for oral cancer as a routine part of their overall assessment.
Early Detection Matters
1.    Improved Survival Rates: The most significant advantage of early detection through oral cancer screenings is the potential for better treatment outcomes. When oral cancer is identified at an early stage, the chances of successful treatment and survival dramatically increase.
2.    Less Invasive Treatment: Early-stage oral cancer often requires less aggressive treatment, which can mean fewer side effects, quicker recovery, and a better overall quality of life for patients.
3.    Lower Treatment Costs: The cost of treating advanced oral cancer can be significantly higher than treating it in its early stages. By detecting it early, patients can potentially avoid the financial burden of extensive treatments.
4.    Reduced Pain and Discomfort: Advanced oral cancer can lead to more distress and discomfort for patients. Early detection can help prevent these distressing symptoms.
Risk Factors for Oral Cancer
Several risk factors improve the likelihood of developing oral cancer. These include:
â Tobacco use, including smoking and smokeless tobacco.
â Heavy alcohol consumption.
â Human papillomavirus (HPV) infection.
â Excessive sun exposure to the lips.
â A family history of oral cancer.
â Poor oral hygiene and dental care.
Anticipating an Oral Cancer Examination
An oral cancer screening is a painless and quick process that can be done during your regular dental checkup. Cosmetic dentist Arvada will visually inspect your mouth for any abnormalities, including red or white patches, sores, or lumps. They may also use specialized tools to examine your throat and neck for any signs of oral cancer.
The Importance of Self-Examination
While routine dental checkups are essential, you can also play a role in early detection by performing self-examinations at home. Be vigilant and look for any unusual changes in your mouth, such as persistent sores, difficulty swallowing, or changes in the color or texture of your oral tissues. If you notice anything concerning, donât hesitate to contact your dentist.
Incorporating oral cancer screenings into your dental routine is vital for early detection and should never be overlooked. Catching oral cancer in its initial stages significantly boosts the chances of successful treatment and survival. Emphasizing preventative care and quick recognition is critical; therefore, maintaining optimal oral hygiene, reducing risk factors, and committing to consistent dental appointments are imperative. Various National Library of Medicine studies highlight how early diagnosis can enhance treatment effectiveness and survival rates.
At Ralston Creek Dental, our dedication lies in delivering all-encompassing dental services, oral cancer evaluations included, to our clientele in Arvada, CO. Your health and safety stand as our utmost concerns. Should you have any worries regarding your dental health or wish to arrange a consultation, please feel at ease to reach out to us. Timely intervention can be life-saving, and we are here to assist you toward a healthier dental future.

this past year has actually been so crazy, like⌠it started with me taking a long, proper break from my MA thesis, which turned into me finally admitting i shouldnât have chosen this degree and iâm incapable of finishing it at this current moment in time. maybe (hopefully) iâll do it at some point in the future, when i feel better, but weâll see. i just canât force myself, because thatâs only ever had a negative impact.
iâve also had to come to terms with how much of an impact the crippling loneliness i experienced for the vast majority of 2020, 2021, and 2022 has had on me. iâm not really in a place yet where i can fix it, which is incredibly frustrating because i so badly want to fix it. it still affects me to this day and no one in my environment seems to truly understand it.
tried to get back into my old hobbies, like reading, writing, and messing around in photoshop. mostly succeeded, for about half the year.
in june i lost my dog whom i love(d) more than i can describe. we only had him for a year, but he was my fucking rock. he was the reason i got out of bed in the morning, the reason i managed to drag my ass outside and go for a proper walk in the woods & by the seaside, and the reason i smiled every day. i still miss him so much.
i attended my sisterâs wedding, went on a disastrous holiday with my bf, and we chose to adopt a new dog. taking care of him has been a lot. âi love you, but god, at what cost?!â has been my main feeling towards him for the past few months. iâve had moments where i want to pull my hair out in frustration because of him, but i also love him so much. itâs been confusing.
for the past few months iâve been half-assing (if not quarter-assing) finding a job, because thereâs nothing in our kind of rural, small town i think iâd actually enjoy, and because of my mental health, i know i need to find something iâll enjoy or i might ***.
had the worst birthday in recent memory. just, god. wish i could forget.
visited dublin with my bf. spent some time with his family. worried about ronan (our puppy) a lot.
oh! had a fucking breast cancer scare. and a terrible experience with the health care system here, again! had one in may too. so thatâs great! thatâs definitely making me want to reach out to them to try to see if i can get a referral for therapy!
just a week or two ago i got into the biggest fight iâve ever been in with my sister, which ruined the family holiday and almost couldâve ended our relationship altogether. we talked it out after a few days and weâre all good now, but it was an insanely stressful week that was so incredibly emotionally draining. cannot emphasise enough how tired i still am from it all.
christmas was weird because of it. had some good food and wine, though, and got some nice presents.
finished my theon fic exchange fic, somehow. i hadnât written anything since my dog died, because i fully lost all of my motivation to write and my enjoyment in writing. i enjoyed writing it. hopefully iâll be able to get back into writing again.
read 13 books this year. my goal was 15. i really want to get back into reading, but alas. started the wheel of time series, though, so maybe that will help. reading all of those would already almost complete my goal for next year, lol.
i hope next year will be kinder. i really need it to be. i know iâll try my best to be kinder; to myself and to others.

Analyzing the Apathetic
Stephen Jay Morris
April 29, 2023
ŠScientific Morality
Here is a thought experiment: Itâs a game I like to call, âWhat If?â Ok, here we go...what if Iâd gotten a career and had a traditional family? Letâs say, I was in good health. I had two boys and a girl. Knowing myself, I would have focused on taking care of my family. I would have shared the chores with my wife. Weâd take turns parenting our kids. Being a parent is a sacrifice of your life. No time to hang out with friends from the past, no time for voting, no time for anything. You try to keep up with current events, but you spend more time trying to work out the family budget. Your salary is not enough, so your wife gets a part-time job. Your kids are having trouble in school, so you have meetings with their teachers. You canât afford a gardener, plumber, or painter, so, you have to do it all yourself. You fantasize about retirement. Every Sunday, you go to Church and listen to your pastor talk about how evil the world is and who you should vote for.
If I had a life like that, I would have committed suicide!
I repeat here the shit Iâve said in the past: The traditional family is social engineering at its worst! As a parent, you are far too busy to rebel against the rich, the government, and organized religion. You are politically neutered. You are no threat to anyone in power. You are involuntarily apathetic.
Then, there are other types of apathetic. The swinging bachelor who is a hedonist, a playboy. He is self-centered. There is the God-centeredâhe doesnât care for life, but is focused on the afterlife. There is the bastard who is moneyâcentered, who thinks life is just about power and fun. Everybody has their own agenda in life. OhâI almost forgot about this characterâthe seeker of inner truth, the New Age heathen. And letâs not forget the penniless Libertarian. These personalities are all voluntarily apathetic.
Now, apathy can be either intentional or unintentional, but man, it pisses off both sides of the coin! The Left is displeased with the apathetic, and the Right is pissed at them. And to me? They are like kids lost at Disney World, terrified over why food and gas cost so much. A lot of them are eccentric and some are angry. They realize that the traditional family is a lie. There is family drama and there are family feuds. They donât understand what the problem is.
Donât think that your naive innocence will win you sympathy. To the world, you are just a sucker to be exploited. Youâve got an organic computer inside your head. You just need to learn how to access the information.
What both sides of the political spectrum know is that, if the apathetic got political, they could take over the USA. They are trying to appeal to this demographic by way of T.V. commercials. The Democrats talk about dinner table issues. Just listen to a President Biden speech. Itâs chalk full of folksy rhetoric. Such as a mother who has breast cancer, but continues to cook dinner for her family. And there is Republican alarmism. Yep, some drag queen is going have your kids touch his dick. Andâyesâboth parties are the same! Not in their rhetoric, but in their intent. The same rich donors give money to both parties to protect their greedy interests.
Sure, I worry that the USA will become some authoritarian nightmare. But it hasnât happened yet. Itâs because of apathy. What do I think or feel about the apathetic? I hate them, but I am grateful that they exist. They are a safety valve against Right wing authoritarianism and Left-wing totalitarianism.
Thatâs it!!

Tips for Finding the Best FTM Testosterone Doctor Near You
Finding a knowledgeable and experienced doctor administering FTM testosterone treatments can be overwhelming. With the wide variety of healthcare professionals available, knowing what qualities to look for when choosing a physician for your hormone therapy needs is essential.
In this article, we will provide tips on how to find the best FTM testosterone doctor near you. We will discuss factors such as qualifications and experience, cost of treatment, availability, location, and other considerations before choosing a provider. By following these guidelines, you can ensure that you are receiving high-quality care from a qualified professional who understands your unique needs.
What Is An FTM Testosterone Doctor?
An FTM testosterone doctor is a highly specialized physician who specializes in the well-being of individuals who identify as female to male (FTM). This type of doctor is dedicated to providing transgender people with the best possible care when it comes to hormone replacement therapy. They are knowledgeable on the impacts and risks that come with transitioning, as well as various other healthcare needs associated with gender transition.
FTM testosterone doctors understand that transgender patients' needs are unique and they strive to be sensitive, respectful, and reassuring of their individual needs. During the consultation, they must be able to draw from a variety of expertise areas to guide the patient to the best possible health care choice.
Such expanded services may include listening skills, counseling, and educational resources such as advice on how to counteract negative life changes or cope with dysphoria. Ultimately, FTM testosterone doctors want to provide the gender expansive population with access to safe and effective healthcare treatments so they can continue living fulfilling lives.
Services And Therapies Offered By FTM Testosterone Doctors
FTM testosterone doctors typically offer a variety of services and therapies to help their patients transition. These can include hormone replacement therapy (HRT), feminizing procedures, body contouring, psychological counseling, laser hair removal, and voice training.
Hormone Replacement Therapy
Hormone Replacement Therapy is the most common therapy offered by FTM testosterone doctors. HRT involves taking medications such as testosterone to help reduce female sex characteristics, promote the development of male characteristics and improve sexual functioning. HRT is usually taken in conjunction with other therapies, such as counseling and lifestyle changes, to achieve desired results.
Side Effects Of Hormone Treatment
Hormone therapy is a common treatment for various medical conditions, but it can have some side effects. Common side effects of hormone therapy may include nausea, headache, dizziness, menstrual changes, and hot flashes.
Male pattern baldness can also be attributed to hormone therapy, as some treatments can cause an imbalance in hormone levels which can lead to hair loss. Body hair growth and voice changes can also be side effects of hormone therapy, depending on the type of treatment used.
Other possible side effects include weight gain or loss, joint pain, fatigue, depression, and anxiety. Long-term use of hormone therapy can also increase the risk of cancer in breast tissue. Additionally, hormone therapy can put you at risk of developing blood clots or stroke. It is important to discuss any risks with your doctor before starting any type of hormone therapy. Your doctor may be able to suggest alternative treatments or ways to reduce the chance of side effects.
Itâs important to discuss any changes in your health that you experience while on hormone therapy so your doctor can adjust your treatment accordingly. With careful monitoring and the right precautions, it is possible to safely use hormone therapy to treat various medical conditions.
Feminizing Procedures
Feminizing procedures are also offered by gender affirming doctors. These can include surgeries such as facial feminization surgery and breast augmentation, as well as hormone therapy. Feminizing procedures can help create a more feminine physical appearance, while also potentially increasing self-esteem and confidence.
Body Contouring
Body contouring is another service that doctors may offer. Body contouring is a process of reshaping the body to make it look more masculine. This can include procedures such as chest reconstruction and liposuction.
Psychological Counseling
Psychological counseling is an important part of transitioning for some patients, and your gender affirming doctor may provide this service as well. Counseling can help patients work through various issues that they may be facing during their transition. Ultimately, it can help provide emotional support, guidance, and understanding as patients discover their true gender identity.
Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal is a procedure that can help reduce hair growth in areas such as the face, back, and chest, allowing a more masculine appearance. This could also be an option when consulting with your doctor.
Voice Training
Voice training is one final service that may be available from gender affirming doctors. Voice training can help patients learn how to use their voices in a more masculine way by teaching them vocal exercises and tips.
Overall, doctors offer a wide range of services and therapies to help patients transition successfully. Patients need to talk with their doctor about all of the options available so that they can make an informed decision about transgender health and well-being.
How to Find the Best FTM Testosterone Doctor Near You
Finding the right doctor can be a daunting task. While there are many qualified and experienced professionals available, it's important to choose someone who understands your specific health needs and goals. Follow these tips to select a qualified medical professional who can administer testosterone replacement therapy:
Check Your Insurance Coverage and Cost of Treatment
The first step in choosing a gender affirming doctor is to check your insurance coverage and the cost of treatment. Access to healthcare for transgender people may vary depending on where you reside. Make sure you understand what your plan covers before beginning a search for a doctor so that you can budget accordingly.
Look for Qualifications and Experience
When researching different doctors, it's important to look for qualifications and experience in treatment. Ask if the doctor is board certified in endocrinology or has any specific training in gender affirming care. Additionally, check to see how long they have been providing this type of care, as some doctors may only be starting to offer it.
Find Out About Their Approach
In addition to qualifications and experience, it's important to find out about the doctor's approach to the treatment you are looking for. Ask if they have a specialty or focus in this area, as well as what kind of advice and support they typically provide for their patients. It's also helpful to get an idea of their views on hormone therapy and any specific protocols or policies they may have in place.
Consider Location, Availability, and Accessibility
When selecting a doctor, it's also worth considering the location and availability of their practice. Find out how far away they are from your home or workplace and if they offer flexible appointment times that fit in with your schedule. Additionally, check to see if they have a virtual appointment option available for those who may not be able to travel. Lastly, make sure the doctor is accessible to you â do they provide phone or email support outside of appointments? All of these factors can help ensure that you get the best care possible.
Talk to Other Patients
Finally, it's a good idea to talk to other patients who have already worked with the doctor you're considering. Ask them about their experiences and if they would recommend the doctor. You can often find this information on online forums or social media groups dedicated to discussing the type of treatment you are interested in.
By doing your research and carefully considering all your options, you can find the best doctor for you. A successful shift is more likely if you take your time and gather all the information you need before making a choice. Good luck!
What Questions Should I Ask My Doctor?
When visiting your doctor, it is important to ask questions. Be sure to bring a list of all the medications you are taking and any relevant medical history. It's also crucial that you fully grasp the explanations your doctor provides. Here are some common questions that can help you learn more about your diagnosis, treatment plan, and overall health:
What surgeries and treatments do you offer? It is important to know what type of procedures the doctor is qualified to perform, as well as any non-surgical treatments they may be able to provide.
What is your experience with gender-affirming surgeries and treatments? Make sure you are comfortable with the doctorâs level of expertise.
What follow-up care do you provide after surgery or treatment? Ask about any post-operative appointments to ensure your recovery goes smoothly.
How often should I come in for check-ups? Establish a clear plan for follow-up visits or blood tests your doctor may recommend.
Are there any risks or side effects associated with the surgeries and treatments you provide? Make sure to understand any potential risks before making decisions about treatment.
How do I cope with challenges throughout my transition journey? Seek advice from your doctor on how to manage any difficult emotions or issues that may arise during the transition process.
Do you have any resources for me to learn more about gender-affirming care? Ask about books, support groups, blogs, or other helpful resources for learning more about gender affirming care.
What kind of support can I expect from your office? Make sure you understand any assistance or services your doctorâs practice may offer throughout the transition process.
These are just a few questions you should consider asking your gender affirming doctor in order to make an informed decision about care. It is important to feel comfortable and confident that the doctor is qualified.

Frequently Asked Questions
When Should I Begin Hormone Therapy For FTM?
The ideal time to start hormone therapy for FTM depends on individual circumstances. Generally, the earlier you begin hormone therapy the better, as it can help you transition more quickly and with fewer risks. However, testosterone injections should not be started until certain blood tests have been completed to ensure that your body is ready for hormone therapy.
Should I Get Gender-Affirming Surgery After Hormone Therapy?
The decision to begin hormone therapy should be discussed with your doctor or healthcare provider. They can analyze your health and determine if hormone treatment is good for you.
Your doctor may also suggest that you take certain steps before starting hormones, such as having a physical exam, psychological evaluation, or blood tests. Depending on your circumstances, hormone therapy may begin immediately or after a period of preparation. Whether to undergo gender-affirming surgery following hormone therapy is a personal decision and should be discussed with your doctor.
Can Masculinizing Hormone Therapy Cause Cervical Cancer?
No. Masculinizing hormone therapy cannot cause cervical cancer, as it does not involve any changes to the cervix or other reproductive organs. However, since hormone therapy can alter your bodyâs natural hormones, it is important to get regular pap smears to detect any potential signs of cervical cancer.
What To Do While Taking Testosterone?
The most important thing to do while taking testosterone is to make sure that you are following your healthcare providerâs instructions carefully. This includes getting regular blood tests and physical exams, as well as monitoring any side effects or changes in your body. To keep healthy while taking testosterone, eat well, exercise, and get enough sleep.
Final Thoughts
Finding the best gender affirming doctor near you can be a difficult process, but it is an important step in your transition. With the help of online directories like PATH and WPATH, as well as resources from organizations like AMA and LGBTRC, you can find qualified healthcare providers who specialize in gender affirming care. Before beginning hormone therapy for FTM, make sure to have a physical exam and psychological evaluation performed by your doctor or healthcare provider.
Additionally, take proactive steps towards keeping healthy while taking testosterone such as eating well, exercising regularly, getting enough sleep and undergoing regular pap smears to detect any potential signs of cervical cancer. With proper preparation and guidance from professionals experienced with transgender health services, you will be able to begin this journey feeling comfortable knowing that you are making informed decisions about your own body.

seriously. our healthcare costs more and is worse than other developed nations:
Health care spending, both per person and as a share of GDP, continues to be far higher in the United States than in other high-income countries. Yet the U.S. is the only country that doesnât have universal health coverage.
The U.S. has the lowest life expectancy at birth, the highest death rates for avoidable or treatable conditions, the highest maternal and infant mortality, and among the highest suicide rates.
The U.S. has the highest rate of people with multiple chronic conditions and an obesity rate nearly twice the OECD average.
Americans see physicians less often than people in most other countries and have among the lowest rate of practicing physicians and hospital beds per 1,000 population.
Screening rates for breast and colorectal cancer and vaccination for flu in the U.S. are among the highest, but COVID-19 vaccination trails many nations.

Finding the right treatment and care is paramount to navigating this challenging journey. Chennai, known for its world-class healthcare facilities, offers exceptional options for breast cancer treatment. This guide aims to shed light on treatment choices, leading hospitals in Chennai, and how to find the best care.
Understanding Breast Cancer and Its Treatments
Breast cancer occurs when cells in the breast tissue grow uncontrollably, forming a tumor. While a diagnosis may seem overwhelming, advancements in medicine have made breast cancer highly treatable when detected early. Treatment depends on the type and stage of cancer, with options including:
Surgery: Removal of the tumor or entire breast, depending on the severity.
Chemotherapy: Drugs that target and destroy cancer cells.
Radiation Therapy: High-energy rays to kill or shrink cancer cells.
Hormone Therapy: For hormone-sensitive cancers, medications block hormones that fuel growth.
Targeted Therapy: Drugs that focus on specific characteristics of cancer cells, sparing healthy ones.
Why Choose Chennai for Breast Cancer Treatment?

Additionally, adopting a healthy lifestyle can reduce risk:
Eat Nutrient-Rich Foods: Focus on fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.
Stay Active: Regular exercise helps maintain a healthy weight and boosts immunity.
Limit Alcohol: Minimize consumption to lower risk factors.
Avoid Tobacco: Smoking increases the likelihood of developing several types of cancer.

âSo our kids know what we do right?â His tone was elevated as he spoke and his eyes darted back and forth as he sat in the chair at the table. The hero of the region, and he seemed even more nervous than I was, even though we were in his house.
âI try not to bring it up much at home, but Iâve never kept it a secret. I havenât told him you are essentially the reason his mother died.â I lowered my eyes as I said that, I wasnât here to battle or needle my nemesis, this was for the kids.
âI have a strict rule against killing.â His cup banged against the table as he set it down sloshing coffee onto the surface.
âRelax, Iâm not here to rehash old wounds, our kids like each other, but you set my entire complex on fire, did you think no one would be hurt? Four people lost their lives in that fire because you had already disabled the sprinkler system by busting the main water line, when you demolished that wall, another six died in the days following from medical complications, Kevinâs mother among them. I know you didnât do it intentionally, but youâre less conscious of collateral damage than I am, and Iâm the one they call the villain. Anyway, weâre here for our kids so let's not get into all this.â
âWell, I am sorry about that.â The champion of Raguel squirmed in his seat, it was obvious this was making him very uncomfortable, âbut how many people have you assassinated? Youâre a literal serial killer.â
I took a sip of coffee, before replying, âI target multimillionaires and billionaires, people who cause untold amounts of harm in this world. The cops and guards, I actually try to avoid having to kill them, but they are the enforcers of a corrupt system, and I never target those not directly involved. Roy Richardson, Iâve known your real identity for years now, and have I ever once come after anybody close to you, who didnât first willingly put themselves in harm's way?â
Roy scratched under the collar of his linen button-down shirt, those corporate sponsorships must be paying well, I still got most of my clothes from thrift shops. âWell, Anarchon, no you haven't, the only time Jeffery was involved he had snuck out to follow me, and then you locked him in that shipping container.â
âBy the way, around our kids you can call me Steven, thatâs my actual name. And I locked Jeffery in there because it was literally the safest place for him to be at the time. Plus that was years ago, I didnât even recognize him when Kevin brought him home.â I stared into the empty coffee cup as I finished speaking. There was too much history here, could we manage to bury the hatchet for our kids?Â
âMore coffee Steven?â Roy, Champion of Raguel the angel of justice, held up the thermal coffee carafe.
âYes, please. Anyway, what happened to your sonâs mother?â
The corners of Royâs mouth turned down and his eyes dropped as he finished refilling both our cups. âShe passed away from breast cancer.â
âIâm sorry for your loss. Megan had a cancer scare once when the doctors found a lump in her breast. I was out of my mind with worry for weeks until we found a place that would cover the cost of the mammogram and biopsy to determine if it was cancerous or not.â
Ray sat back in his chair and sighed, âI guess being a villain doesnât come with employer sponsored health care. Neither does being a hero. I didnât have any sponsorships at the time so we had to jump through all sorts of hoops to get her diagnosed and then treated. Iâm still paying off the medical bills.â
I fought the urge to say âand thatâs why I go after the rich assholes that cause these situations.â Roy shook his head, and then spoke again, âI really am sorry about causing your wifeâs death.â
âWe werenât married, Megan and I were in a committed relationship, but we never took the step to get legally married. With the mission I had given myself I didnât want her to have to go through a lot of paperwork if she ever felt the need to leave. Anyway, Kevin and Jeffery said they met at one of the downtown summer concerts, I honestly didnât know Kevin liked gothic country music before then.â
you are a Villian who's a single parent of a son. Recently they started dating someone. When you arrived to their house, you notice how their parent is the hero you fight daily. Your son and date went outside for some alone time, leaving you and the hero some time to talk

Dear friends and family,
I, Hend Alhabbash, beg you to open your hearts as I am pleading for your help to fund the evacuation for me and my husband Omer of 73 years. Even though the Doctors without Borders organization can help provide the necessary paperwork that should help evacuate patients, the organization currently does not have the means for providing financial help due to the expensive cost necessary for evacuation of needy patients. We are in desperate need of evacuating Gaza Strip so that we may receive proper medical care. Also, funds are needed to support us with the necessary medication and food for survival while we are awaiting evacuation. Itâs worth noting that due to limiting the humanitarian assistance to Gaza Strip, the prices of the food, medicine, and supplies in some cases reach about 10 times (if available) the cost before the war. Itâs reasonable to say that the current living expenses in Gaza are the most expensive in the whole world.
Currently, I am fighting for my life due to cancer that has affected my health over the years. Now, due to the ongoing war and political/economical situations there, there is no proper medical treatment available. Also, my home has been demolished, and we are living in a tent with no running water and no access to quality food.
I was living a beautiful life as a proud wife and mother of six children. Unfortunately, in October 2022, I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma in my left breast. I underwent surgery, and my breast was removed along with the lymphatic nodes under my arm. The chemotherapy that I was receiving resulted in eye pressure in my left eye. I underwent three surgeries in my cornea to avoid sudden blindness if left untreated.
In August 2023, two months before the war started, I was diagnosed with a tumor in my thyroid gland. Unfortunately, the continuous treatment I require has become a formidable challenge in the context of Gaza. I have not received any medication nor has been able to see a surgeon to remove the tumor because of the lack of doctors in Gaza since most of them have evacuated.
My husband, Omer Alhabbash, is 73 years old. He has had a stroke and is suffering from neurological issues which paralyzed the right side of his body, and now unable to walk. He is now handicapped using a wheelchair, adult diapers and specific food for his poor health.
Please find it in your heart to help me and my husband evacuate Gaza so that we both can receive the proper medical care that we badly need. Funds are also necessary for medication and food for survival while we are awaiting evacuation.
If you need any medical documents to support and reinforce my request, please let me know. Our family thanks you in advance from the bottom of our hearts for your donations.

As a UK-trained doctor, I can say that SLS is very much a Thing, and is a bit more complicated than this description.
So, some background: the UK has the National Health Service (NHS). Sometimes described as the "State Religion," it is one of the things British people hold to be most important to their culture. Even people who hate it define themselves as such; having known and worked with many Americans it's actual closest equivalent is the US army in terms of general attitude to it.
Importantly, the NHS is "free at the point of delivery." That means that nobody pays to see their doctor, have surgery, or get medications prescribed*(1). Even in an increasingly privatised system, the NHS delivers about 90% of all medical and Surgical care in the UK. Importantly, most surgeons have a private & NHS workload; it's rare to have a surgeon ONLY practice privately and the evidence suggest's they're on average less good!
This also means that the NHS is the major trainer and employer of hospital doctors. Given that the NHS has a desperate need to serve the whole country, trainees get flung around the place. This theoretically ensures that the quality of doctors is pretty evenly spread*(2). Family doctors (GPs) have a slightly different system of employment, but in a small country this has led to traditionally good goegraphic spread of doctors*(2), as well as a similar access to surgeons and a fairly egalitarian approach to surgical prioity. Whilst many people do pay to have their knee replacement done slightly earlier, it's probably the same surgeon who would have done it, in the same hospital, with the same kit. More urgent surgery is even less likely to be done privately, because the ability to jump the queue is less; surgical lists are built based on urgency of care, not who's paying*(3).
Why is this important? Because despite all this I know which patients are going to get post-op complications, and it will always be the patient with SLS. The one who's aunt died a few years ago during an appendicectomy, who's got chronic pain and is overweight despite running 3 marathons two years ago (before they got their 1-in-a-million cancer).
I know which patients will get their cases cancelled on the day, and it will always be the ones who had to book annual leave three months in advance and who's wife has just been diagnosed with breast cancer after their third failed pregnancy.
And I know which patients careful opioid prescriptions will nevertheless result in them turning up in 6 months for a detox, because if I was living their life I took would accidentally take one extra codeine a day, except they happen to be supermetabolisers so they get full morphine blowback and it builds and builds and they can't get to their doctor cos the dog just died and the car broke down and now they're fixed on OTC doses, and then it's heroin because they can't get fuck all else ...
But if i don't prescribe the Opioids they'll get terrible chronic pain and lose their job and then their wife will leave them and then their kids will get cancer. Because. Because because because. SLS.
It's absolutely socioeconomically linked, but so frequently it's not just "you're poor so you get shit healthcare." Its also "you got unlucky with a health thing a family thing and a work thing all at once and now your life will simply spiral out of control." It's "you don't live in a good dessert but you might as well because your back pain and commute stop you doing a full shop every week and now you've eaten shit for 6 months you've got lifelong constipation". It's an endless humbling reminder that no matter how good my care is health is intrinsically linked to so much else, and that balance is more important than perfection.
It's also a reminder that the Tories can fuck off, because anything that drives up inequality WILL make healthy worse and nobody can fix it once it spirals.
*:
(1) you do pay for the pharmacist to make up your prescriptions, but this is also cost-controlled. Very few people in the UK pay the actual cost of their medications.
(2) This is getting worse due to changes in how doctors are recruited, employed and re-emberced. The destruction of Primary Care Practice in my lifetime is a sin that neither Labour nor the Tories can escape responsibility for.
(3) Mostly. Unfortunately if the only surgeon available is an ankle surgeon then your ovarian mass isn't going next.

The Importance of Finding an Mammography Test Price and Mammography Test Near Me
When it comes to breast health, timely screening can make all the difference. Whether you're considering your first screening or following up on a routine check, searching for the best mammography test price and finding a mammography test near me is crucial for peace of mind and affordability. Regular mammograms are essential for the early detection of breast cancer, which can significantly improve treatment outcomes. The right test at the right price, close to home, makes preventative care more accessible and less stressful.
Why Regular Mammograms are Essential
A mammogram is a low-dose X-ray of the breast tissue, widely regarded as the most effective tool for early breast cancer detection. Experts recommend that women aged 40 and above should get mammograms annually, especially if there is a family history of breast cancer. Early detection through mammography can help identify cancer before symptoms appear, potentially reducing the need for aggressive treatments and improving survival rates.
Cost Considerations Finding the Best Mammography Test Price
Affordability often plays a significant role in whether women pursue regular screenings. The mammography test price can vary depending on factors like location, facility type, and whether the screening is 2D or 3D. On average, a mammogram can cost between Rs 1300 and Rs 3,000 without insurance. However, many clinics offer discounts, financial assistance programs, or accept insurance plans that significantly lower out-of-pocket costs.
When looking for an affordable mammography test near me, itâs worth checking community health centers, nonprofit organizations, or breast cancer awareness initiatives that provide free or low-cost mammograms during Breast Cancer Awareness Month or throughout the year.
Convenience Matters: Locating a Mammography Test Near Me
Finding a mammography test near me ensures that you stay consistent with your screenings without the hassle of long travel times. Local healthcare providers, imaging centers, and hospitals often have online search tools to help you find the nearest location offering mammogram services. Prioritizing convenience means you're more likely to keep up with regular appointments and avoid delaying critical screenings.
What to Expect During a Mammography Test
The process of getting a mammogram is quick and straightforward, usually taking around 15-30 minutes. A trained technician positions each breast between two plates to compress the tissue and obtain clear images. While some discomfort may be felt during the compression, the procedure is generally well-tolerated, and the benefits far outweigh any temporary discomfort.
Final Thoughts on Mammography Test Price and Accessibility
Staying proactive with your breast health doesnât have to be overwhelming or expensive. By searching for an affordable mammography test price and identifying a convenient mammography test near me, you take essential steps toward early detection and improved health outcomes. Remember, regular mammograms could save your life, and with accessible options available, thereâs no reason to delay. Prioritize your health today, and make sure your next mammogram is booked!
