I was wondering if you could do a one-shot where y/n replaces peggy’s place in Steve’s story as Captain America, and he goes back for her in endgame. and perhaps she was pregnant at the end of the war. sorry for all this.

After the war with Thanos and Tony’s funeral, the infinity stones needed to be taken back where they originally were. Steve decided to do that. As Bruce was getting everything ready for Steve to return the stones, he stood next to Bucky.

“Do you miss her?” Bucky asks, referring to you.

“Yes.” Steve answers softly. “I remember the day you introduced me to her.” He smiles.

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen you so speechless.” He chuckles.

Steve chuckles and smiles at the memory of the day he met you.

“It’s ready, Cap.” Bruce says.

Steve nods. Before getting on the platform, he gave Bucky a hug. Bucky knew what that hug meant. He didn’t need to be a mind reader to know.

“You’re going to go back to Y/N, aren’t you?” Bucky asks.

“I am.” Steve says.

Although, Bucky doesn’t want to live in a world where his best friend isn’t in it, he wants him to be happy.

“I’m gonna miss you.” Bucky whispers.

“I’m gonna miss you too.” Steve whispers back.

Steve sighs as he pulls away from the hug. He walked over to the platform, stopping just short of the steps to get on it. He turned around to look at his best friend.

“Don’t do anything stupid till I get back.” Steve says with a smile.

“How can I? You’re taking all of the stupid with you.” Bucky smiles back. “Give Y/N a hug for me.” He says.

“I will.” He says.

Steve gets on the platform. Bruce counted down before sending him to where the infinity stones needed to be returned to.

“Shouldn’t he be back by now?” Sam asks Bruce.

“He should be.” Bruce looks at the computer. “It looks like he went further than he should’ve.” He says.

“What year did he go to?” Bucky asks curiously.

“1949.” Bruce tells him.

Bucky nods and looks down.

“You ok, man?” Sam asks Bucky, putting a comforting hand on his shoulder.

“I will be.” Bucky says softly.

1949

Steve had a smile on his face as he held you close to him. You two were swaying to music in the middle of the living room. You glanced up at your husband with a smile. Steve looks down at you and kisses you softly.

Steve found his way back to you. You and him bought a house, got married, and you two have a baby on the way. This is the happiness and the family life he has been putting off for years.

Your feet started to hurt from swaying so you sat down on the couch. Steve sat down next to you, wrapping one arm around you and put his free hand on your pregnant belly. You laid your head on his shoulder. The music continued to play.

“Are you going to miss being Captain America?” You asked.

“Yes, but I’m sure Sam will be just as good as I was.” Steve says.

Steve gave you a tight hug, making you smile.

“What’s that for?” You asked with a smile.

“That’s from Bucky.” He says.

“Bucky remembers me?” You asked.

“Of course he does. He was the one who introduced us.” He says with a smile.

You smiled at the memory. You were a nurse in the Army when Bucky introduced you to Steve. You were admiring how handsome Steve was -he still is- and Steve was completely speechless.

“I’m happy that he introduced us.” You say.

“Me too.” Steve smiles.

“I miss him.” You say softly, putting your hand on top of Steve’s.

“I do too.” He whispers, kissing the side of your head.

PRESENT DAY

Bucky looked out in the distance, furrowing his eyebrows when he seen someone sitting on a bench and looking out at the water. He immediately knew that person was Steve.

“Sam…” Bucky says.

Sam looks at Bucky and then looked over at the water, seeing Steve. He walked up next to Bucky.

“Go ahead.” He says.

Sam nods and walks over to Steve.

“You decided to go further back after returning the stones, huh?” Sam says, standing next to Steve.

“Yes.” Steve smiles.

Sam seen a wedding ring on Steve’s finger.

“Wanna tell me about her?” He asks.

“I’ll let Bucky tell you.” Steve smiles.

Steve reaches down to unzip the bag his shield is in. He took it out of the bag and handed it to Sam.

“Are you sure?” Sam asks softly.

Steve nods. Sam took it from him and held it up.

“How’s it feel?” Steve asks.

“Like it belongs to someone else.” Sam says, looking at the shield.

Steve reached in his pocket and pulled out an envelope, handing it to Sam.

“Give this to Bucky for me please.” Steve says softly.

“Of course, man.” Sam says softly.

Steve and Sam gave each other a smile before he walked back to Bucky.

“He gave you the shield?” Bucky asks.

“Yes. He also told me to give this to you.” Sam says, handing him the envelope.

Bucky took his hands out of his pockets and took the envelope from Sam. He opened it to see a hand written letter from Steve, along with a family picture of you, Steve, and yours and his daughter Sarah.

Dear Bucky,

As you know, I went back to be with Y/N. I hope you can be happy with the decision I made. Thank you for introducing me to Y/N when we were in the Army. The little girl in the picture is mine and Y/N’s daughter Sarah Jamie Rogers. We gave her the middle name of the man who introduced her parents. I love you, man. I’m going to miss you.

Bucky teared up while reading the letter. He then looked at the picture, smiling when he seen how happy Steve is now and when he seen you and Sarah in the picture. He’s happy that his best friend got the well deserved family life he’s been looking for all these years.

“Who are those people with Steve in the picture?” Sam asks.

“His wife Y/N and their daughter Sarah Jamie Rogers.” Bucky says.

Sam smiles, happy that Steve got his happy ending.

“Their daughter looks just like him.” Sam says with a smile.

“She does.” Bucky smiles.

1949

“Did you feel that?” You asked when the baby kicked.

“Yes!” Steve says happily.

You looked at your husband with a smile on your face. You leaned up kissing him sweetly.

“I can’t wait for this baby to be born.” He says softly.

“Me too.” You smiled. “I love you, honey.” You murmured, pecking his lips.

“I love you too, sweetheart.” He almost whispers.

Steve got the well deserved family he’s been wanting for years. He couldn’t be any more happier.

THE MULTIVERSE SAGA

Made a new header with who I believe will be big players towards the end of the Multiverse Saga. Agatha maybe not so much but in her own way however that may be.

Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch SPECULATION -

What happened to Wanda with the collapse of Wundagore in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness?

Did she die in the collapse like so many would have you believe?

Did she simply put herself in some hibernation form within the rubble?

Did she transport herself elsewhere to self-isolate? An off shoot of this speculation was she banished herself to the Void.

Hear my theory, think about it, in Multiverse of Madness when Wanda finally realized the Darkhold had corrupted her, in the eyes of her children, it was only then she was able to see the monster she had become and stop her rampage.

I think Wanda realized how truly dangerous she was and in an effort to protect her children and by extension the Multiverse she brought Wundagore down on top of her in an effort to rid the Multiverse of her as a future threat.

But what I think really happened was instead of killing her she sent herself to the Void.

She absorbed some of America's power, its possible with her already powerful reality warping abilities with what little she took she was able to send herself to the Void with a thought, like she erased all mutants in the House of M storyline by stating "No more mutants..." in this case she thought "I want to be where I'm no longer a threat to anyone..." and to me that means the Void.

I think Wanda unintentionally banished herself to the Void. As evidence by her Scarlet Witch statue from Wundagore making a cameo appearance in Deadpool & Wolverine in the hideout of the resistance team against Cassandra Nova.

Wanda has likely been in the Void since Multiverse of Madness and has avoided any interaction with anyone and anything fearing she will become an unstoppable threat again. So I don't think Cassandra Nova felt any need to try and kill Wanda even if she somehow knew about her.

But once Avengers: Doomsday comes, RDJ's Doctor Doom, will very likely pull an Avengers: Infinity War and leave audiences stunned when he causes incursions of the Multiverse into one place, the Void making it BATTLEWORLD. That is a lot of populus and stuff of all kinds coming into the Void and between that and Wanda possibly running into some of her old friends from her universe 616, she will begin to realize she has to get involved if the fate of the Multiverse, the fate of her children, is at stake. Any projects that take place between Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars has been heavily rumored to take place in Battleworld.

Wanda will be an integral part in restoring the Multiverse so the Mutant Saga can thrive. Loki, Doom, Wanda and maybe even Strange will all have a hand in reestablishing everything.

p.s. ...Clea may also be a big part with the other magical beings of the Multiverse.

update 9/5/24 - She could also be in some form of Hell based off the souls of the damned in Multiverse of Madness. If you count the souls that she was trapped with versus how many burst free when she did the number is short so its implied she could have been dragged to some hellish realm.

My knowledge of him and the trial starts with your header text and google isn't exactly forthcoming on the climate of public opinion at the time it was actually happening. Also I just want to hear your thoughts since I heard it from you first, if that's ok

no problem. take what i say with a grain of salt, as im not american, so this isnt my history directly. additionally, this was before my time.

after the beating of rodney king at the hands of police, and the acquital of 3 of the 4 officers responsible, there were riots. the 1992 los angeles riots to be precise. these riots sprang up amid a backdrop of tension between black american and korean communities, and during these riots, a korean menswear store was firebombed. fred hampton jr, son of civil rights activist and martyr fred hampton, was found guilty for this, with the main piece of evidence i believe being that there were blisters on his hands. he and his supporters maintain his innocence for this event. many people, particularly black political activists, believe that his guilty verdict was mostly because he continued his fathers legacy in fighting for racial justice in america.

it is a known fact explicitly stated by the band that youre crashing but youre no wave is inspired by this trial (this is pre release, so the song names are different). this is demonstrated through the narrative told by the lyrics. the story ended before it began. the DA didnt need to give his closing argument, because the jury already believed it from the narrative spun on the news. 'everyones looking for relief/a bidding war for an old flame's grief' the old flame in this case being his father, from whom he picked up the torch. you could pay to close the case like a casket, because whats inside it is messy, and no one wants to see the dirty guts of the truth. the jury is stacked. the witnesses are well paid (too well dressed for the witness stand). the song heavily, heavily implies over and over, that this is not a fair trial, and that there is a foregone conclusion.

i feel as though its easy to argue this song is out of place, but personally, while its VERY on the nose and not really all that subtle (and i like that about it, dont get it twisted), i think it fits into the theme. i mentioned a while back that 'be clearly aware of the stars and infinity on high. then life seems most enchanted after all' refers, in the context of its association with this album, to the stars in hollywood. ioh is about media narratives first and foremost. its about fame, and celebrity, and painting a perfect picture, one that sells well. its all about the artifice ('style your wake for fashion magazines' 'i only think in the form of crunching numbers in hotel room collectong Page Six lovers' '"we need umbrellas on the inside" get me just right.') and in this case, it shifts its focus from media and celebrity into media and politics. which i find really really interesting.

Would I Survive the First Five Minutes??: No one died. I’m guessing that this is happening in Dean’s mind as either a way to pacify him or convince him to be Michael’s vessel forever

Omg it took a second watch of the first five minutes to realize that Rocky’s Bar (the bar this Dean owns) is in the Rocky and Bullwinkle font…like moose and squirrel, like Crowley used to call them 😭 I miss Crowley

That was a really good distraction to get the angel cuffs on Michael

The reapers have SHIFTS to babysit the Winchesters now?? Amazing

Then how did they get back to the bunker?? If violet didn’t take them there

The view looking out across the fjord was one you’d never tire of. As the sun set, heaven and earth collided, and for a brief moment, you existed within a world made only of skies, framed by towering mountains on either side. It was serene. Mystical. Otherworldly. Seemingly as if you were living on a totally different planet. And, in a way, you were. A changed planet, at least. 

You let out a contented sigh as you watched the amber sun sink lower on its path across the sky, its hazy rays glistening on the water. Flashes of gold reflected across the ethereal cerulean inlet, shimmering and rippling with the last light of the day. Broad stripes of coral and lavender wrapped around you like a cozy blanket as the sun dipped slowly behind a jagged peak, kissing the distant horizon. Time slowed down, and all you felt was stillness and peace.

You almost forgot about the harsh reality of the near-dystopian state of the world. Almost. Moments like these were always as fleeting as they were unforgettable.
