Jumin Han - The Day He Realized He Wanted to Marry You

People like to think that CEO’s have it easy. That they sit in their big office with their feet up on their mahogany desk, smoking cigars as they watch the money come in. 

Wrong. It’s weeks of working 80 hours. It’s every minute of your day meticulously planned. It’s stacks of paperwork, 30 urgent emails in an hour, it’s meetings upon meetings upon meetings, it’s… missing three date nights in a row.

Jumin has warned you that these few months will be an especially busy period, but he’ll be sure to fulfill his ‘boyfriend’ responsibilities.

Well… that hasn’t exactly panned out as well as he thought.

The first time he had canceled, you waved it off and said there was no issue. The second time, your smile had wavered, but told him you understood. He tried to console you by saying you could eat at the restaurant by yourself. It was dinner time and the reservation was still there. You turned him down and said you’d rather go home and eat at your place.

And now, well, he was lucky that he couldn’t see your face when he called you to cancel. Still, you were uncharacteristically quiet throughout his monologue. At the end of it, you simply said, “I understand. I’ll catch you later.” 

If you had gotten angry, screamed at him

and cried through the call telling him he was a liar 

and that he always chooses work over you… 

well, he’d take that. In fact, he’d rather have that than the quiet surrender you gave. 

As Jumin’s hands danced across his keyboard to reply to an email, he told himself he can’t drown in the issue too long. What’s done is done, instead, he’lld make it up to you a hundred times over. He’s going abroad next month. He should take you with him. At the hotel you’re staying at, he’ll be sure to fill up the place with your favorite flowers, a nice candle lit dinner, a new outfit, and any purchasable item that you even happen to breathe on. 

Later, he’ll tell you about it. He’ll apologize and tell you about the trip. 

It was nearly lunch time when the glass door to his office swung open.

Before he could even tear his eyes from his computer, the intruder spoke, “Jumin Han.”

There you stood by his door. Hands crossed over your chest. The stern expression on your face made his fingers freeze mid-sentence.

“…hello,” was his lame greeting.

You crossed the room and rounded his table to stand by his side then, to his surprise, set a timer on your watch.

Jumin arched his brow and spun his chair about to face you “What are you—” He clamped his mouth shut when you planted yourself onto his lap and wrapped your arms around his frame.

“There’s a 10 minute window before you go to a lunch meeting. It’s mine,” you declared.

Jumin’s hands retreated from his computer and wrapped around your frame. “Were you feeling lonely, dear?”

“Yes,” you answered with a petulant pout. 

“I’m sorry.”

“Don’t apologize,” you tell him. He could feel the vibration of your voice on his shoulder. “I know this is your life and I won’t be selfish about it. Just give me 10 minutes.”

He wrapped his arms tighter around you. 

There would be times where a passing comment, or a conversation thought to be out of earshot, would say that you were lucky to be with someone like him. Rich, brilliant, young, and handsome, Jumin Han. That was ludicrous. All along, always, he was the lucky one.

“Next mo—” he cut himself off. No, the trip next month was too long. No. “Let’s have dinner tonight. Whatever you want.”

You gasped and giggled. You broke away from the hug to look at his face. “Really? Are you free?”

“I’ll finish work by 8 in the evening, is that okay?”

“Yeah! I can wait. We don’t need to go out. Let’s just eat at your place and watch a movie!” You paused and hummed in thought. “I think I know a good movie that you and I can watch. It’ll be great.”

His hand reached up to caress your face. “I can’t wait.”

It’s a good thing that the trip is next month. It’ll give him some time to find out your ring size and rent a villa for the proposal

because saeyoung/seven is constantly at his computer you have a twin bed set up in his office. he used to have a couch he'd crash on when he found the time but upgraded to a bed because he wanted you comfortable and gave in to your concern of him sleeping well

there are nights where he scoots in next to you, or if it's in his office and he still has energy he picks you up and you both head to his bed

his days off? omfg he's a nuisance, a menace, a demon but he's yours 💕

so one day when he hears you sigh and say "I wish my boobs were bigger" he turns to you with a confused look

"why?" cuz what are you talking about, he is OBSESSED

when you express that you feel like having a small chest makes you feel undesirable or unattractive, he immediately swoops you up into his arms and onto his lap

"do i need to sue instagram? for showing my baby photos that make her insecure, cuz I will" stop him

Oml I miss read it for a second and my brain thought that you meant Sick! Your headcanons for sxf and not sick Yor headcanons but here you go annon I hope you enjoy it ^^ (if this wasn't what you wanted either send me a msg or ask through my ask box again and I'll rewrite it ^^)

Sick! Yor Headcanons

She both rarely gets sick and also can catch colds pretty easily if she's not careful.

She's definitely slightly loopy like how she is when she's drunk and she also gets very giggly during the time that she's sick.

Will fight with whoever is trying to give her medicine unless it's Anya, you, or Yuri...Although Anya has had more success giving Yor medicine simply because Anya has given her the puppy dog eyes before, it's her weakness.

She's also extremely cuddly, like really cuddly she won't let go of you or whoever she's holding until she falls asleep and even then there's a 50/50 chance that she will tighten her arms around you if you move to much ^^"

Speaking of cuddling, she's also more of a big spoon when she does get sick than when she isn't, like she'll use one hand to pull your head to her chest while her other hand moves to your back sorta like a hug or she'd snuggle into your back no matter what you're doing.

Poor Yuri, I have a feeling he doesn't get sick often but when he does it's bad...like bad bad, he get's very sleepy too.

He also gets pretty clingy like his sister when sick, however I can also see him being more whiney as well.

Will definitely act as if he wasn't whiney the entire time when he gets better though.

Yuri will take his medicine pretty easily but he'll complain about the taste of it, whether it's because it's not the flavor that he likes (aka what he tolerates the most) or because it just tastes terrible.

Will be sad if you aren't giving him like 99% of your attention, the other 1% is when he's asleep.

He will only take his medicine if either you or his sister Yor (if she's visiting at the time) give it to him, because of how much he dislikes it.

Cuddle him and he won't let you go, you are there now and you don't get to get up unless you want an agitated sick Yuri. Just resign(?) and run your hand though his hair while he sleeps.

Mammon- A blushie baby, the first time you let your hand linger on his arm or shoulder will make him even more smitten with you. Although he's still gonna act like he doesn't like it and get all huffy in the signature Mammon way while not so subtly enjoying all of the affection that you're giving him. Just like imagine him looking away to the side with blush on his face while you're holding his hand, or if you just launch(?) at him giving him a back hug out of nowhere! But at the end of the day he doesn't mind that part of you and it helps reaffirm that you care about him.

Leviathan- Are you trying to give the poor boy a heart attack? All joking aside I feel like he would definitely enjoy it you might startle the poor boy during the beginning of the relationship, but he would also eventually get use to it. However you do have the upper hand with surprise back hugs and the cherry on top if you smother(?) His face with kisses he just combusts, don't do it too much though you might break the boy.

Beelzebub- This would make him sooo happy like you glomp him in a hug? #2: Tucking the sheets around them when they stir during the night

Saeyoung is a restless sleeper. He tosses and turns right up until he falls asleep. You sometimes lie awake and wait for his breathing to get heavier so you know that he’s finally resting. When he’s finally settled down, you pull the sheets up around him so that he doesn’t get cold. You think he’s still getting used to not sleeping only when he’s on the brink of exhaustion.

On more than one occasion, you’ve been woken up by him mumbling something incoherent in his sleep. It seems like that wonderful brain of his never truly turns off. He has vivid dreams that he often describes to you, even though they don’t often make sense. He’ll open his eyes in the morning and smile sleepily at you.

“I dreamt of you last night,” he’ll say, voice still raspy with sleep.

“Mhm? Tell me about it, babe.”

Even when they’re absurd and nonsensical, you much prefer these dreams to the alternative. There are nights where he wakes up shaking and covered in a cold sweat. Where you hold him tight and reassure him over and over again that he’s safe. That the people that he loves are safe. He couldn’t describe those dreams to you even if he wanted to.

He's told you a little bit about how it used to be before he met you. He’d work till he slept and sleep till he worked. More often than not, he wouldn’t have a memory of falling asleep at all, he’d just wake up at his desk with pins and needles in his arm and a sore neck.

At the apartment, you weren’t sure if he slept at all for the first few days. He’d be hunched over his laptop in the morning in the same position he was when you went to sleep the night before. That was until one morning, when you woke up earlier than usual and found him curled up fast asleep in his corner, using his hoodie as a pillow.

Only a few nights later, he slept next to you for the first time. He had stopped pushing you away by then, and only halfheartedly tried to object before lying down next to you. He was hesitant at first, body stiff like he wouldn’t let himself get comfortable. Eventually, with you talking to him softly in the dark, he relaxed. He opened his arms to you, and you gladly curled up against him. Neither of you slept much that night.

You’ve never forgotten the way your heart hammered at the feeling of his breath against your cheek and the way he held you like you were the last thing keeping him from floating out to space.

Tonight, you’re staring up at the glowing stars on the ceiling of his bedroom and listening to him breathing next to you, waiting for him to settle down.

He turns on his side, a soft groan escaping his lips. The sheets slip off him and he winces at the cold. You chuckle under your breath and lean over to adjust them. You pull them back over his shoulders, kissing his forehead before lying down again.

“There, much better. Sleep well, my love. Dream of me.”

There were 3 moments for him. The first 2 were times when he, out of nowhere, just quoted a meme reference and without missing a beat you responded. 

But there was a moment he vividly remembered. 

It was at a party. They had decided to increase the capacity of the guest list, and though you never expressed it, there was a bit of pressure on your part as the planner. He tried his best to help but he was occupied with work and his brother settling in. 

You took it like a champ, but the nerves really set in on the morning of the party. 

He watched you that day clean, moisturize, and exfoliate every inch of your skin. Saeyoung didn’t dare bother you during the ritual. 

Finally, the party came. Normally, Saeyoung would drive you to the venue, but since his brother wouldn’t be attending, he wanted to make sure everything was in order before he left him. And so, you headed to the venue earlier.

When he arrived, the party was already well underway. 

His eyes searched the crowd for your familiar stature with a half-jesting apology already forming on his lips. 

He spotted you by one of the tables speaking to the owner of a small jewelry business. The woman seemed to enjoy your company. She was inviting you to the new store they opened in the mall. It was their first expansion and you looked just as elated as she did.

A younger woman was beside her. Immediately, your demeanor shifted. You were a bit cheerier, a bit less formal. She was talking to you about a dating sim you both played. You laughed at something she said. Something about tragic backstories and how writers knew how to hurt their readers.

And he found himself pausing at the sight… at the normalcy of the scene.

His midnight thoughts crept up in his moment of hesitation.

Perhaps this is what you really needed. Normalcy. Idle chatter about going to the mall. Playing video games to pass the time. It should be this and not…

Not waiting for hours on end to make sure he comes back home in one piece

Not dealing with sleepless nights because you got woken up by the screaming

And certainly not putting up with… him.

With his skillset, it would be a simple thing to disappear. To retreat into the crowd and wipe the entirety of his existence from your life. 

You got pulled into this life because of him and now that you’re with him…you’re even deeper.

No, you don’t deserve this. You deserve a normal life. A peaceful one. 

His mouth suddenly dried and the half-jesting apology dissipated on his tongue. 

He took one step back. And before he knew it, he was walking away from the scene… from you.

His heart hammered in his chest. Taking hold of his breaths. Thoughts ravaged in his mind.

He’s doing it again. He’s pushing you away. 

No, this is the right thing to do.

Wait, just… he has to calm down. This isn’t the answer.

But it is. The only thing he’s going to give you is trouble.

No, that’s not true. You love him. You’ll always love him.

But he doesn’t deserve that. And you… you don’t deserve all the shit he’s got with him.

No, it’s going to be okay. Just calm down.

No. Disappear. He has to leave right now. Before you fall in deeper.

No. Stay. Just stay.

No. Leave—

Arms snaked around his waist. His fight or flight instinct flared up. He fists clenched but before he could do anything else, a voice halted the torrent of his thoughts.

“Caught you!” you yelled with a giggle. 

He turned his head as you rested your chin on his shoulder. “H-h…hey,” he answered in a low voice. You smiled at him. His heart slowed at the sight of your face. “You look beautiful.”

Your eyes narrowed in a jesting glare. “If you think flattering me will get you out of trouble you’ve got another thing coming, mister. Don’t think I didn’t see you running away while I dealt with Mr. Dokgo. That was seriously cruel.”

His hands reached up to touch the arms holding him in place. “Sorry. I didn’t think you needed me.”

“And where did you get that idea? I’ll always need you and because of that,” your glare became sharper and your voice dropped an octave, “I will always find you.”

Something in those words and the jokingly ominous manner you phrased it unlatched something in his chest. And with it, a warmth washed over his stature and he felt his mouth spread to a grin. Then, catching onto your jest, he faked a sob. “There will be no escape for me. This is my life now. Trapped and helpless.”

“I’m glad you understand your unfortunate circumstances. As punishment, you are sentenced to feeding me honey buddha chips while we watch the best or arguably worst bollywood film I can find.”

He chuckled. “Okay.”

“And… and you have to buy me and Saeran our favorite ice cream flavors.”

“Roger that.”

“We each get one pint.”

“Hm. You’re really milking this aren’t you?”

“Oh! And you’re taking me to a cat cafe as soon as you’re available.”

He nodded with equal parts of sincerity and resignation. “Yes, ma’am.”

The two of you paused when you heard a sigh. In front of you, Zen stood with a bored expression. “I mean, I know you guys are in love but really? In front of the guests?”

A blush coated your cheeks. A real one. Not the kind that your makeup gave you. You released him immediately and the urge to distance himself has all but dissipated.

“It’s time for your speech,” Zen informed.

You gave Zen a mock salute before walking off. “Hey, I’ll catch you later, okay?”

He smiled. Softly. Knowingly. This was his life. It's you and him against everything. And he wants it for the rest of time. So he yields to his fate and answered, “I’ll be waiting.”

Doing a bedtime and morning routine w/ zen..

if y'all ever get to move out of that apartment he gets one of those bathrooms with a double sink so y'all can get ready side by side

on days where you have a stuffy nose or he's going through cat allergies? the humidifier comes out.

you're a little to comfortable one day, no undies on bc you're about to get a bath and he spots you and just slowly backs out of the bathroom

ask him to come back? he's trying to explain that he'd go absolutely feral over you and as soon as you give him the okay he's immediately all over you, no discussion

y'all also have a huge ass tub so y'all can soak together

he'd be the type to lay out rose petals and candles on your anniversary with a bubble bath and fresh warm bed sheets

anyway, bedtime care. i need you to know he's making you put that phone down.

if you already have to wear glasses? depending on how bad ur eye sight is and if it can be recovered then the protectiveness and helping ranges

he definitely makes sure you get to bed on time to

not rly an anti aging type of man, would agree that your wrinkles, eye bags, smile lines, cellulite, stretch marks etc. is something beautiful. he'd say something poetic and romantic like, "all of that is apart of my lovely darling and i love every inch of you."

even when you’re not chatting, he’ll try to stay in the same room as you because he finds it comforting to be near you

he’s blushy and shy about touching but he’s also slowly warming up to it as well, so that’s another bonus of quarantine

despite it all, she’s determined to forge on ahead together with you

carefully budgets everything to limit the financial impact it has on the two of you

after going through uni and working under Jumin, she doesn’t actually know how to be unproductive. So she spends a lot of time researching new recipes to add to the cafe and thinks up different marketing plans

you need to force her to take a break and chill

You two spend every morning tgether, enjoying a nice cup of coffee and chatting, and it only ever leaves Jaehee even more certain of her decision to start her life over with you

Seven's a hermit anyway, and he's honestly kind of pleased about the fact that you're staying home with him now

Less pleased about your quarantine jitters but he'll try his best to make you comfortable

If you're stressed because of lack of stuff to do he'll design apps and games to take up your time

If saeran is interested he'll find (or make) games for you two to play together

Loves to go on drives and he'll take you along sometimes

Also really enjoys playing dress up with you, so you sometimes just have days where you raid Saeyoung's closet and vanity and play around with all his costumes

Sometimes dress up like each other. Saeran's not happy about it

Has never actually spent this much time with another person though, and much less with two other people, so he does end up shutting you out sometimes

Its not on purpose though and he realizes whats happening really quickly and apologizes

Ah, yes, the power of money

When he learned about the possibility of a lockdown he'd wanted to move the two of you to one of the private villas but hadn't had enough time after all the work, and he doesn't want to risk moving you now

So instead you're chilling in his apartment

He spends a lot of time working but he set up everything he could have thought up for you to do

Tv, game systems, books, there's no shortage of ways to occupy your time

If you get into a new hobby Jumin's all over it. Painting? You get all of the best supplies. Gaming? He's not as happy about that one but you still end up with a system that makes Yoosung cry in jealousy. Cooking? You have to stop him from calling up Michelin star chefs to give you personal online lessons. 

Very very busy, but he makes sure to spend at least some time with you everyday

He's stressed too, and being around you and Elizabeth is the most relaxing thing he can think of

Ends up spending some time working from the living room, so he can be around you more often even if he can't give you as much attention as he would like to

ZEN

He does not deal with it well at first

His work has stopped and he's stressed 

Despite that, he treats your comfort as a priority

(you are his princess, after all)

Tries his best to make sure you're active and eating well

Takes you on runs so you can get some exercise in, and makes sure he has more than just beer in the fridge, even if he has to dig into his savings to do so

Needs to practice his skills so you'll sometimes find him acting out a romantic scene you watched together or randomly serenading you

Its sweet, but also makes you laugh because he always gets so seriously into the roles but the scenes he picks are really cheesy

He may not be enjoying himself fully, but the beast is having the time of its life

Yoosung Kim Head cannons

These are just some head cannons I have for Yoosung! Some may already be head cannons that people thought of but this is all just coming from personal reference!

- Yoosung can actually play guitar extremely well. It’s not something he really talks about as he doesn’t think it’s that important. He picked it up out of sheer boredom, when not playing games you’ll find him playing some melodies. Zen is definitely the first person to find out.

- Another thing yoosung is good at is painting/ drawing. V actually taught him how to. As much as yoosung boosts about hating him.. at some point they had an okay relationship. During that period v taught him to draw and yoosung’s been doing it since.

- He’s much quieter then he seems to be. Yoosung tends to put his guards up, as his own mental health does it for him naturally. Typically around Jumin, v and at times Jaehee he’s a bit colder and doesn’t exactly let them in on too much, especially his personal life. Though.. he’s very open with seven and zen, especially with zen. (And partner) zen and yoosung are like brothers. So he’s bound to be very open with him.

- yoosung loves mustangs! Though this poor boy has no clue how to drive he’s always wanted an old green 1969 Ford Mustang.

- Because of Seven Yoosung absolutely hates chocolate milk. Don’t get him wrong there are days where we could chug a whole jug but after the prank seven pulled on him he wouldn’t be able to stomach even a sip of it.

- There are some classes that Yoosung actually fully takes part in. The main one is art, as it’s a huge passion of his. He’ll skip a few days to do some art projects instead of gaming. 

- Yoosung snorts when he laughs. He has a few laughs if i’m being honest but once you really get him going you’ll be awarded with his little snort. 

- He feeds a few cats that live on his campus! He’ll actually make sure they are fed before he gets his own lunch. Yoosung also tends to do that with people as well. If he’s taking care of zen or seven.. he’ll make sure that they have what they need before he does anything for himself. 

- He’ll do absolutely anything for the people he cares for. (Considering his route) He may not be able to actually fight or stick up for himself but he’ll try his damned best to stand up for others.

OH MY GOSH THIS WORK OF ART. But also! I headcannon that this takes place after Jaehee's after ending. I understand that Jaehee's hair is short but her hair is short in all of her birthday cgs so I'm ignoring it. Imagine Jaehee and MC closing down the shop early on Christmas to begin preparing for the RFA. They bake a cake together for everyone to eat >///< It would explain why Jaehee and Jumin are able to sit next to eachother without being super awkward since they aren't coworkers anymore. The decorations could be from the coffee shop being decorated for the holidays. Even if it's just me imagining, I love the idea that the RFA continues to meet up no matter which route you choose^^

-in the chatroom you were always so chatty, never afraid to make jokes or be a major dork, often going along with Seven’s dumb bits, driving the other members crazy... but as with all things, appearances can be deceiving, and social anxiety was prone to creep up at the worst of times

-even with his galaxy level brain, Seven didn’t quite understand why you were so quiet any time you met with him in real life, why you clammed up and essentially put it on him to carry every conversation

-little did he know that as annoying as he may have found it, your own nerves were making you do circles in your mind, and every word you spoke felt like it had to be calculated

-eventually would approach you about it, worried that he was doing something wrong or making you uncomfortable

-after explaining that you were just nervous to talk to him, and hiding behind a screen was easier in letting you be yourself he just chuckles, making self depracating jokes about himself in hopes of making you laugh

-man just wants you to be happy and comfortable

-would bring an actual screen and put it between the two of you when you hung out alone just to annoy you, and it was through that which he hoped you'd open up more, by jokingly “annoying” you, a shitty plan in hindsight but alas

-wouldn’t mind carrying conversations, would pay more attention and purposefully ask open ended questions and make sure you had time to speak

-take the anxiety that Seven felt about being afraid he’d done something wrong and multiply it by 1,000

-he’s similar too though in being shyer in person, which causes a bit of an issue in the long silences that follow the two of you around wherever you go

-after talking it out with his brother he decides to confront you about it, if nothing else just to put his mind to rest 

-reassuring him that he’d done nothing wrong was by far the most helpful, and the back and forth conversation that followed where you and him quietly giggled and bonded over being introverts allowed you to understand each other better

-not very proactive, would let you go at your own pace when it comes to opening up, and doesn't mind the long silences, instead he starts to find peace in them

-that being said, he’s elated when you get a burst of courage to talk more, is absolutely in love with hearing you talk

-gets incredibly blushy when he thinks about the fact that he’s the one making you nervous but that anxiety isn’t caused by something negative. he honestly feels the same most of the time towards you, texting is incredibly different than being in person and he can recognize that

This is part of my ABC prompt challenge. They are not in any particular order. 

Masterlist.

Even though his two personalities are at peace with one another, trauma doesn’t go away over night and sometimes one personality has more control over the other.

It’s not always triggered by something around him. He has good days and he has bad days.

His aggressive side comes out more often from external triggers, while Ray is more likely to come out after having a nightmare. 

He does his best to coexist with all sides of him nonetheless. 

Aggressive!Saeran is more demanding of the MC’s time and more prone to possessive or jealous tendencies. 

He’ll cling onto the MC in bed, refusing to let either of them get up for as long as he can get away with it.

Sometimes he’ll come up behind the MC and squeeze her so tightly she can’t breathe for a second.

He doesn’t mean to hurt - he’s just very intense. 

Ray isn’t as overtly clingy, but he’ll try to linger in the MC’s presence. He doesn’t want to get in her way, and he’s very self-conscious about how needy he is. 

On good days he likes to chat with everyone on the messenger. 

On bad days he likes to stay focus on his garden or stay holed up in his office. 

He’s got quite the impressive garden. 

Saeyoung absolutely encourages his brother to enter his garden into competitions. 

He’s actually won first place a couple of times!

When the season’s right for it, he’ll go fishing with his brother. He doesn’t really enjoy the camping experience, but he loves spending time with Saeyoung. 

He enjoys cooking. He and Yoosung have gotten together several times to try out new baking recipes for MC and other RFA members to enjoy. 

His favorite part about cooking is watching people eat his creations and praise him. 

His favorite thing to bake is a strawberry shortcake. 

His phone background alternates between pictures of MC, flowers from his garden, and clouds.
