Wrapping his arms around her tiny frame as he picked her up, Tommy couldn’t help but smile. “Hey, love.” He ran his fingers through her hair and tucked some of it behind her ear as he let out a quiet, content sigh. It was good to be home.

“Why are you awake, eh? I’m sure Aunt Pol put you to bed hours ago, didn’t she?”
