I had a dream last night, me and my family went on a road trip and we stopped at a large-ish parking lot to rest. There were 3 other cars already there and all the adults from the cars made friends and let all the kids loose to play around.

At the end of the parking lot was a fence, more of a wooden railing really, that blocked off the lot from a small, murky lake. I decided that i would watch the 2 smaller kids play around and make sure they didnt climb over the railing and into the lake.

While i was watching them, i noticed a figure in the lake. The figure was waist deep in the water and was seemingly walking on the lake bed, even though the water was clearly deeper than waist deep.

The figure is dressed as a fireman, which admittedly sets me a little at ease, and in moving towards the 2 small kids. I walk over to the kids, who have both turned to the man, and stand in front of them.

The man comes up to the edge of the lake, the furthest he can get while still being waist deep. He holds out a shiny piece of tinsel, it mesmerizes me, the tinsel is silver, gold and a very nice baby blue, it glitters in the afternoon sun, beckoning me to come closer. the man is whispering, gesturing for us to come into the lake with him. I snap out of my trance quick enough to get whiplash and grab the little boys arm and drag him back, he had started climbing the rail to get to the fireman.

I grab both kids and drag them back to the waiting cars. The adults are startled by my return, i tell them of the fireman in the water and as the first parents go to investigate, the man in the water starts singing, enchanting the adults.

I hide in the car with both kids huddled close, when we come out, its only us. The adults are no where to be seen, and there are muddy footprints heading into the lake.

Anyways! I drew a siren fireman! Doesnt the shiny tinsel look tempting?
