¡Hola! Eh vuelto con una nueva cuenta, en un nuevo fandom y con un nuevo headcanon, el cual trata sobre un AU donde Los Pixies, HP y Sanderson terminan siendo los padres adoptivos de Foop/Irep por razones de la vida

[ADVERTENCIA DE MUCHO TEXTO] Pero ¿porque? Me imagino que podría haber una correlación entre estos personajes, según lo acontecido y lo que supuestamente estaba por venir. Todo empieza con el hecho de que cuando Irep pareció por primera vez en la serie de Los Padrinos Magicos un Nuevo Deseo lucia más como un Pixie" que un Anti-padrino, y dado que los Pixies y los Anti-Padrinos se han aliado (aunque también traicionado) en el pasado, pensé que quizás esto podría llegar a significar que tenían algo que ver. Dev conoce a Irep, cosa que parece dejarlo "enganchado" y al final del capitulo dice estar decidido a contactar de nuevo con "Las anti-hadas", con el, al mismo tiempo y según dicen, estaba planeado incluir a los Pixies como los antagonistas al final de la serie originalmente (cosa que parece, fue cambiada de último momento), con todos esos datos, al principio pensé en que podrían ser "socios" o algo así, pero también recordé esa escena donde Foop vuelve de por sus vacaciones escolares y termina en casa de Poof porque sus padres se mudaron sin dejarle la dirección (mini cómic que adjunte jeje), así como que HP y Sanderson prácticamente ya habían criado un hijo en el pasado ((al Payaso Bob), una cosa me llevo a la otra y me pareció muy lindo, y me gusta pensar en un Universo Alternativo pudo ser real (solo quiero tener la esperanza de que algo bonito le pase por fin a Irep :"3)

Longwood hovered by the tram station, his shades pushed into his hair and his arms crossed. As I drifted up to join him, I raised an admittedly exaggerated brow. "And you're absolutely sure you don't want me to call your Refracted counterpart?"

"I am."

"You realize that after today, you can never enter a Daoist shrine again. Without her kiss as a juvenile, you're impure. Your window of opportunity will have closed. If you ever want in again, you'll have to travel to the High Kingdom and meet on her territory."

"I get it, H.P." He smiled thinly. "I'm Zodii. I'm all Zodii."

I suppressed my sigh. "All right. No ceremonial coming of age kiss. Well, if we're not going to be spending the evening witnessing a dance, I'm glad we're going out instead." I picked up my coat and pulled it on while Sanderson watched from the stairs. "Where do you fancy? Preferably someplace with soda."

Longwood sized me up with a rueful sideways glance. "H.P., I'm 164,000. Adult wings or not, I can't legally drink for 25,000 years."

"… Right. I knew that. So where do you want to go? Hawkins and I went hiking, and Wilcox and I spent the weekend soaring above the cloudlands as geese. You and I have to go somewhere- anywhere you want. A getaway for just the two of us. That's Pixie tradition."

"I want to go to the Leaves Temple and present myself before Thurmondo."

Oh. I wrinkled my nose. "Um. That place by the Frozen Garden Palace? That's what you want? Am I even allowed to go there?"

Longwood nodded. "You're allowed to be on the lower two levels. The echo chamber is on the top floor. H.P., I know you don't believe, but I want you to come and meditate with me. That's my birthday wish."

I watched his face for any hint of ulterior motives. "What exactly do you plan to do while I'm there?"

"Just pray, and think, and listen. It's the Temple of Curiosity. It's sort of a play area up front for the nymphs and pups, and more of a museum in the back. Lots of little puzzles to fiddle with and solve. You'll like it."

"Okay. If that's what you want." I glanced over my shoulder. "Sanderson, you're in charge. No parties."

"Yes, sir."

We took the pilgrimage without magic as best as we could. I would've been content to ping there and be done with it, but Longwood insisted on the trams. At least using magic on the way home wasn't against their self-imposed rules. Longwood and I arrived in Cornflower City on Wednesday, then paid the temple a visit in the morning. I'd glimpsed the temple in passing: lush plants that betray the frosty outdoors and all of that. I'd never been inside before. Longwood walked me to the door. We entered together.

The noise hit me first. Longwood led onward and we stepped from the hall into an enormous brightly lit room.

"Holy chaos…"

Everything was a puzzle. The floor. The walls. The tables and chairs. Puzzles of cloudland cities. Puzzles of the Rainbow Bridge. Puzzles of famous monuments. Puzzles of planets. Puzzles of farms, animals, factories…

I turned a full circle, sliding my hands up to grasp my hat. Mazes of wire. Mirrors that alter your appearance in nonsensical ways. Children's toys strewn all over the ground (Ah, so that's how the Zodii lure you in young). Fairy nymphs and Anti-Fairy pups raced and poofed back and forth, shrieking and chortling as they zipped from one place to another. Amused parents sat on benches along the walls.

Longwood looked at me, awaiting any further reaction on my part. "If it's too much, sir, on the other side of the room, there's a door that leads into the meditation hall. It's quieter there."

I squinted. There was laughter, and crying. Bright construction paper. Train sets with engines and tracks. Interactive wall panels. Tunnels. Slides. Climbing bars. Trampolines. Squishy blue mats. Ringing rainbow xylophones. Spinning hoops. Wooden blocks. Sports balls. Foam balls. Toy blasters to fire those foam balls. Adventure quests and target games you could work your way through with a pretend wand in hand. Scoreboards?

It was every doctor's office waiting room, playground, splash pad, nymph gymnasium, and socializing nursery I'd ever imagined contained under one roof. My awareness zinged in a thousand directions at once, trying to track every rapidly moving kid, shot ball, and thrown toy. Every toenail, every hair, every dust flake, every skin cell.

Howls of pain. Bruises? Blood? Snot? Barf? Pee? There was no way to know what wild kids did when ducking through the tunnels and enriching themselves where adults couldn't see them. I am almost positive everything in there was liable to give you some contagious disease at the simplest brush of your hand. Nothing in there was sanitary. Nothing in there was safe. It wasn't right.

"Longwood," I whispered, "I can't do this. I can't stay in here. Nothing in here is organized. I'm going to have a meltdown. In front of all these people."

"Really?" He looked again around the Temple. "I thought you'd like solving the puzzles and filling in the coloring sheets."

"I will. Oh, I will. Longwood, I'm glad you have the ability to focus on just one thing at a time. To set up just three of a hundred dominos, to rotate a wheel filled with beads just half a turn, to flip an hourglass over when it hasn't timed out, to roll a play cloudcar a short ways across the floor, and then move on with your life."

I met his gaze, tugging my hat lower. "But if you start me on this, I swear I am not leaving until every one of these puzzles is done at the same time, and stabilized that way. And I do not care how many nymphs or full-grown adults I have to bowl over to do so. Either let me absolutely loose, or get me out of here- now."

How do you come up with fairy names in OotP and the Riddleverse?

Hello, thank you for the ask. I apologize for the delay; I took a Tumblr and FOP hiatus for a while.

A lot of fairy names (like Ambrosine, Solara, Idona, and Sindri) came from whimsical name lists. Some names like Florensa I created myself to fit the same vibe that Juandissimo's name has. Over the years I divided naming themes into different cloudland regions.

Cloudlands at a Glance has sample names by region

I don't put a ton of thought into the names and typically pick whatever sounds right within the first 3 minutes of thought. Here are the thoughts behind some Origin of the Pixies and related 'fic names for anyone interested:

Fergus - Named after a stuffed triceratops owned by a sibling, I thought it was cute and it had the Scottish vibes I was aiming for in the very early stages of my worldbuilding. His middle name is Alexander

Whimsifinado - H.P.'s last name, a combination of the words whimsical and aficionado

Julius and Venus - These names for Anti-Cosmo and Anti-Wanda are the canon middle names of their fairy counterparts

Nebula - Poof's and Foop's middle name is space-themed like Cosmo and Venus and is also a nod to Crash Nebula

Ennet - Sanderson's first name, I just made it up because I liked the vibe of Emmet but the 'M' sound didn't feel very Pixie to me. I swapped them for 'N's and I love it

Longwood - Named after a teacher I had with 'wood' at the end of their surname; I just loved the way it sounded. I also love this name for Sanderson's rival pixie because it implies he's taller (which he is) and I feel like it would tick Sanderson off a lot

Hiccup - Foop's alt personality, obviously named after the fact that he hiccups a lot when he cackles. I've seen a lot of fantastic names for him in fandom [and cool portrayals], but I'm quite happy with the one I picked

Kalysta - Named after an old friend [spelled Calista]. There's no reason why this name was picked for this character specifically, apart from the fact that I always liked the name and wanted to use it. The OG spelling is really pretty, but I felt weird using a friend's name for an antagonist so I changed the spelling

Anti-Marigold - I felt this would be easier to read in story when she appeared opposite Goldie [compared to the name Anti-Goldie] and it also makes a nice parallel for Poof and Foop, as Foop also has a unique name. I don't think the name Kelsia came from anywhere specific, it just fit her

Dusty - This was Poof's concept name [iirc from the same period when Poof was going to be released in Season 2], so it's what I named the next Cosmo x Wanda child. I adore the name Dusty and I'm kind of sad that name didn't make it to the finals, but it's cute. Fairies turn to dust when they die, Anti-Fairies turn to smoke, so his counterpart is named Smoky

King Northiae / Prince Eastkal / Queen Shoulath - They're all named after cardinal directions

Anti-Bryndin - I genuinely have no idea where his name came from, I think it was the first thing to pop into my head when I was trying to name him and I knew immediately that it fit him. I wanted to have a name that sounded mysterious and unusual and ended up with this

Emery - This name first appeared in Reedfilter Rules as the name of H.P.'s daughter; this was picked because she was a pixie kid and it fit the masculine vibes I was going for. I later reused the name for H.P.'s sister in the Origin of the Pixies universe

Those are the main names that come to mind. What it really comes down to though is "Looking up whimsical names" and "Random."

Acts and Arcs

My big three FOP ‘fics have been divided into acts and arcs for a long time, so I finally gave them names, because that’s cool, right?

Origin of the Pixies

Act 1 - Spoiled

Spans “The Fairy Whose Crown Wouldn’t Fit” to “Prodigal Progeny.”

This act covers the events of H.P.’s youth to the events that follow Sanderson’s birth. Rebellion is a major theme.

Act title plays on the phrases “Spoiled rotten” and “Spare the rod, spoil the child.”

Act 2 - Leap

Spans “Persistent Assistant” to “Fruitful Fruition.”

This act covers the events of rearing the first few pixie children and H.P.’s imprisonment in the Eros Nest. Acceptance is a major theme.

H.P. leaps into an entirely new life in this arc: Marrying China, raising his young pixies, the Eros Nest events, and becoming Head Pixie

Act 3 - Vitality

Spans “Needles and Dread” to “Off.”

This act covers the events of H.P.’s coronation, the early days of Pixie World, and H.P.’s downward spiral. Desperation is a major theme.

The name “vitality” describes the rise (and fall) of H.P.’s physical, mental, and emotional strength.

Act 4 - Soldier

Spans “The Makings of Greatness” to “Play Me a Memory.”

This act covers the building up of Pixie World, the events of the war, the O’Weskar v. Pixies Inc. incident, and nearly constant interactions with Anti-Cosmo. Breaking from Fairy norms is a major theme.

H.P. is very dutiful in this act, striving to defend his pixies and fight for his rights at every turn.

Act 5 - Going Gold

Spans “The Rise of Anti-Sanderson” to “Destiny of the Pixies.”

This act wraps up the many plot lines of our story, and covers H.P.’s early attempts to obtain immortality before the events that catapult us into Devil’s Backbone. Surrender is a major theme.

Act title plays on the phrase “Go for the gold,” or doing one’s best.

Frayed Knots

Act 1 - Fresh

Spans “String Theory” to “Snake Eyes.”

This act covers the events of Anti-Cosmo’s childhood, including his betrothal, early signs of his bipolar disorder (or rather, the magical parallel of it), and his decision to study Anti-Fairy reproduction. Choices and restrictions are major themes.

Frayed Knots opens with Anti-Cosmo’s birth. His new incarnation is starting with a fresh slate- old memories blocked and all.

Act 2 - Plunge

Spans “If She Hollers” to “Woozy Bat In a Sanitary Zoo.”

This act covers the events of Anti-Cosmo’s adolescence, including the progression of his relationship with his betrothed, his interest in genie conservation, and the discover of his previous incarnation. Entrapment is a major theme.

Act title refers to Anti-Cosmo’s multiple crashes and burns.

Act 3 - Supersonic

Spans “Gossamer” to “Gushing For Gold.”

This act covers Anti-Cosmo’s time in high school, the struggle with his hypersexuality, his rise to becoming First General, and the events of the war. “My ambitions or my standards?” is a major theme.

Act title refers to speed, such as the rapid swings between Anti-Cosmo’s manic and depressive moods.

Act 4 - Solace

Spans “Tiddly Me This” to “Tipping Scales.”

This act covers the events of Anti-Cosmo’s coup, the development of his relationships with Anti-Wanda and H.P., and the very beginnings of raising Talon. Vulnerability is a major theme.

Act title refers to Anti-Cosmo’s attempts to find peace and satisfaction amidst the chaos of his life.

Act 5 - Staying Silver

Spans “And Rods Were Spared” to “Profits, Sneers, and Evaluators.”

This act covers more misadventures in raising children, the Anti-Cosmo x Anti-Wanda marriage (Finally!), and the event that results in the Anti-Fairies being locked up in their World again in line with “That Old Black Magic.” Resistance is a major theme.

Act title refers to being content with not being the best... or does it?

We see a lot of pixies in this arc, as well as hints of Poof and Foop in later years, laying the groundwork for later events. Feeling like everything is out of your control is a major theme.

Spans “That Was Then” to “Grudge.”
