Big Daddy liked spending time with his grandsons a lot when they were younger! Peri was very fascinated with all the stories his grandpa shared. Though for a good chunk of them, Timmy had to cover his ears for.

As they grew older, Big Daddy was very interested in teaching his grandsons how to run the "family business". Wanda had to put a stop to it when she found Peri was learning how to use a weaponized wand. Big Daddy has good intentions and a big heart! He's just a bit misguided on how to express it to his grandsons haha.

Anyways, my question about your au is how did Cosmo and Wanda’s family react to Timmy becoming a fairy? Did they take forever to get used to it (or some maybe still not used to it) or were they immediately fine with it? Something like, “No guys this is not your son, this is OUR son now” I really wonder how Wanda’s side of the family (Blonda and Big Daddy since I love the dynamics of the fairywinkle family 😭) reacted when Timmy became not only Cosmo and Wanda’s son but also their fairy son as well.

Also makes me wonder how side characters like the pixies and norm the genie reacted when the news that Timmy becoming a fairy came out.

Ya know, seeing Poof/Peri return in "Fairly Oddparents A New Wish" made me immediately think that he must have gotten some pointers fashion wise from his maternal grandfather, Big Daddy

I mean, look at these two! Quite the sharply dressed individuals.

Whenever you take away the fronts and learned behaviors that Timmy displays sometimes, do you ever notice that like Timmy attracts others fairly quickly?

Like when you take away his random bursts of snippiness and cold moments and you see him actually let loose and be himself he makes friends like it's nobody's business. Because Timmy isn't just kind, he's endearing as well.

Sure he's mischievous and sarcastic, but these traits add to him in a way that people can't help but still like him. Like Big Daddy, Wanda's dad. Dude's a mobster who only likes his daughters and doesn't really care for anything else. But he enjoys Timmy quite a bit. Or Mama Cosma who's a bit uppity and overbearing towards Cosmo, shows a soft spot to Timmy and showers him like he's her own grandson.

Or Jorgen who's incredibly serious, however when it comes to Timmy he's more lenient towards him. Even though he wants to tear his hair out half the time. Or the alien prince who immediately grew to adore Timmy and try to be his bestie. And then there's Jimmy from the crossover episodes, who's notorious for being iffy about making friends easily. Yet with Timmy, once their differences are aired out, Jimmy gets comfortable with him and even starts a friendship with him! And fucking Chip Skylark??????? He literally befriended a fucking celebrity??????

Like Timmy Turner is special in a way where he unknowingly befriends so many people without even trying and the ironic thing is because of his home life and the universe being hellbent against him, he has no real idea just how wonderful he really is. Just how many people actually adore and love him.

But Wanda and Cosmo see it. They've always have seen it and it's one of the many reasons they love him.

Timmy Turner is a good kid, and his heart is one of gold despite the world constantly trying to tarnish it with its bullshit. I think it's one of the reasons I love his kid myself.

several attempts on his life, primarily the years when nonna gave him the reins

plays it off, but the longlasting effect is he always has to be diligent- he only ever feels truly safe in his bed, in his house. until someone ruined that too. hates being vulnerable.

family man like his dad, fiercely loyal, adores his girls but nobody is perfect and he's got a lot to juggle. sometimes the idea of getting away is appealing..

tends to verbally brush off things that sit with him and bother him, must appear untouchable

knew that amaris was seducing him. let her (he's in control.)

loved her spunk + proposed to her, spoiled her

also incorrectly assumed amaris would take a break from her singing to raise their daughters

didnt want to be primary caretaker of his girls- hed either be forced to take a step back from the mafia (terrible idea) or put his daughters in danger by continuing activities

hid his pregnancy for as long as physically possible due to the weakened state it put him in. wanted to hide the girls too for a few years

nana cadabra was an intelligent, tactical force of nature. matteo being in charge makes him look like a meathead in comparison, and while he's no genius he's wise. the business stresses him out but he's gotta do what he's gotta do, and he loves his family.

spoils his daughters and is overprotective (with good reason)

DOES care about willa. he just doesn't know how to approach her since she's so.. different. she doesn't seem to want anything to do with the mafia. it's disappointing, but also he gets it. he hopes she's happy.

good grandpa. loves peri. has a way different idea of fun though.
