You groan, burying your face in your hands. You were hoping, praying that you weren't going to get that one little text message that always spelled disaster no matter when it came across your phone screen. It had been a good run, too; you hadn’t suffered this fate in a good few years. But, apparently that winning streak was too good to be true.

You look at the notification on your screen again, re-reading it for about the third time. ‘We hope to see you at the party this year! P.S., please bring your boyfriend along this time, your aunt won’t drop it,’ the message from your mom read. Boyfriend. Little did she know, you in fact had four boyfriends, none of which had met your frustratingly nosy family.

Speak of the devil—or, one of them at least—John walks into the common area, a stack of papers in his hand. “Morning, love.” He shoots you a smile before focusing his attention back on the documents he was scanning. “What’s on your mind?” He takes a seat in the chair opposite you, leaning back and crossing his legs, one ankle on the other leg’s knee.

You think for a bit before sighing. “Off-base things. Family stuff.” It’s clear he was unsatisfied with your vague answer when he met your eyes with a raised brow. You huff, knowing you wouldn’t get away with dancing around the issue for even a moment. “My mom wants me to bring a boyfriend back for my aunt’s holiday party.”

John continues to look at you, his air gone from stern to confused within a second. “You do have a boyfriend. Four of them, actually.” He tilts his head as he states the obvious. You roll your eyes, crossing your arms. “I know that. I just don’t wanna subject any of you to the torture that is being at those pointless parties.”

He just smiles at you again, his eyes returning to whatever was on the papers in his lap. “Maybe we’ll make it better for you. I’m sure the rest of our boys will be glad to accompany you.”

You chew the inside of your cheek, thinking about the prospect. Frankly, it did sound like a good idea on the surface; it would be nice to spend some down time with all the people you love, after all. After another few moments of thought, you nod and stand up from your chair. “You’ve got a point. I’ll go talk to the others, then—see if they’ll be able to come with us.”

John hums in approval, catching your wrist as you walk past toward the door. “Hey. Come here.” You smile, leaning down to kiss him and appreciating the feeling of John’s hand coming up to the nape of your neck, his fingers rubbing a loose circle on your skin. “Things will be fine, darling,” he says after pulling away. “Don’t worry.”

A deep sense of dread starts to build inside of you as your mini convoy starts to approach your aunt’s house, which is technically more like a mansion based on the size of it. It had already set in the moment Simon convinced the others to let him drive. Yes, he got you to your destination way faster than any of the others would, but that was only because he drives like a maniac.

The dread slowly developing wasn’t caused by Simon almost getting everyone into a wreck at least two or three times, though. It was caused by the fact that you could already see your family’s cars lined up along the road and sitting in the driveway, memories of past parties flooding your head.

Kyle beside you must notice the way you’ve started shrinking into yourself and he wraps his arms around your shoulders, pulling you close to kiss you on the cheek. “I’m excited to meet your family, sweetheart.” An underlying joy is hidden in his voice, which brings a small smile to your face. “You sure?” You chuckle, leaning into him. “They can be a lot.”

“I’ve dealt with worse, no need to worry.” He ensures you, pressing a couple more kisses to your temple and your forehead. Your cheeks warm and you push his face away. “Stop it,” you say playfully.

Johnny helps you out of the car and wraps an arm around your waist when Ghost pulls over to park his car on the side of the street. “Who do you think is gonna be the favorite?” He asks with a grin on his face. You hum, tapping your chin and feigning deep thought. “Probably John. And not you, the responsible John.”

Johnny scoffs, dramatically putting a hand over his heart. “I am responsible! Can’t believe you would say such a thing!” You simply pull him closer and kiss him on the cheek, giggling under your breath. “I’m sorry, baby. Please forgive me—” You’re cut off by him giving you a big kiss on the lips. “Fine, you’re forgiven.” He gives you his bright smile, the one that reaches his eyes and crinkles the corners of them.

Simon walks past and tugs on Johnny’s sleeve, pulling him forward. “Get moving, Johnny.” He grunts, dragging him along and taking you with him in turn.”We’re coming, we’re coming,” Johnny huffs.

You take a deep breath once you reach the front door of your aunt’s house, amping yourself up to face the music head-on. You feel John’s comforting hand between your shoulder blades and you smile, his silent support soothing your nerves and giving you the courage to ring the doorbell, officially sealing your fate. No going back now.

Surprisingly, the night was actually going well. Just like John said, being able to sit in-between two of your ruggedly handsome partners while the other two were pulling your aunt’s attention away from you was massively more comfortable compared to your other experiences in this house.

Johnny and Simon, seated next to you on either side, chatted with a couple members of your extended family while Kyle was off in the kitchen making a plate of hors d'oeuvres for you, and John was busy entertaining your aunt and mother with various war stories from his yesteryears. It seemed like everyone was having a blast, their easy smiles contagious.

You look up when Kyle sits in the armchair next to the loveseat you, Simon and Johnny were posted up on. You grin when he presents you with a small plate full of various meats and cheeses. He kisses your hand as you reach over and take the plate from him, making your face heat up. You shoot him a pointed look, but he flashes his pretty smile in return. You can’t possibly stay mad at that smile—I mean, have you seen it? You just shake your head, unable to mask the flustered look on your face.

Your grandmother looks away from her conversation with Johnny and turns her attention to Kyle. “Oh my! Who’s this lovely young man?” She listens intently as he introduces himself and then starts up her usual questioning whenever one of her grandbabies brought someone to meet the family.

You let out a long sigh, your senses already getting overwhelmed after the past hour or so of entertaining the party with your boys. You start to pick at your hors d'oeuvres, building a little stack of what looked like some sort of salami and a piece of cheese on a cracker, popping it in your mouth. 

Simon’s hand comes into your downturned gaze and rests on your leg, giving it a firm yet gentle squeeze, a silent check-in. You cover his hand with yours, looking up at him and smiling, effectively quelling his concerns. He nods and intertwines his fingers with yours, an affectionate glint in his gaze. You return the look wholeheartedly and let him pull his hand away to rest in his lap.

You glance up when you hear your name being called across the room and see John and your mother looking over at you. She beckons you over and you sigh, standing up and starting to head over to the two of them. You jump when Johnny’s hand pats the back of your thigh a couple times, smirking up at you. You roll your eyes and mutter a quiet ‘stop that,’ trying to hide the fact that your heart skipped a beat at the smug look on his face.

John wraps an arm around your waist once you get close enough, his hand petting up and down your side. “Your mother wants to know how we met,” he explains. Your mother pipes up, “I also want to know why you were hiding these lovely men from the family for so long.” She gives you a look. The look. You groan, running a hand over your face. “Of course, mom.”

“I’ve no idea why you were so worried about tonight, bonnie. It was perfectly fine!” Johnny pulls you down to the couch in the living room of the house you and the others had bought recently, his arms tight around you. He held you in place to pepper kisses all over your face. You try to push his face away so you can actually respond to his comment; the effort was futile, but after a few pushes he pulls away on his own. “It seems like they were on their best behavior since you four showed up with me. You’re all pretty imposing, to be fair,” you say, leaning back against Johnny’s chest.

Simon walks in with a handful of mugs filled with warm spiced apple cider, passing them around the room and then sitting in his armchair, his legs crossed loosely. He notices your eyes on him and raises a brow. “You talking about me?” You laugh and shake your head. “Not just you, silly.”

Kyle catches the tail end of the conversation after coming downstairs in his lounging clothes, sitting next to John on the loveseat opposite the couch Johnny had you buried in. “I’m sure it was mostly you, Simon.” He grins, leaning into John’s side. You roll your eyes. “Well, I’m sure most of my family was intimidated by your dashingly handsome looks, good sir.”

John rests his arm on the back of the couch, his fingers playing with the hair on the back of Kyle’s neck. “That’s a good point, darling,” he smirks, taking note of the bashful look that crosses Kyle’s features. He hides his smile by taking a sip from his mug.

“Hopefully your family feels a bit more comfortable around us next year, yeah?” John takes a sip of cider from his own mug, before setting it down on the coffee table and picking up the remote to put something on the TV, probably some shitty holiday movie. The exact kind that he likes.

You hum and hold your warmed up mug in your lap, happily cuddling up with Johnny. “Yeah, hopefully.” There’s a brief pause before you realize what he just said and the implications of it. “Wait—next year?” And once again, that signature sense of dread hits you and you groan, knowing you wouldn’t be able to convince him otherwise.

You joined him against the counter, leaning your head against his shoulder. Daryl stiffened momentarily before relaxing, wrapping his arm around your shoulder and pulling you closer into his side. He pressed a soft, tender kiss against your temple, smiling softly when you let out a small giggle.

“For about one and a half hours,” you answered him, checking the time on your wristwatch. “So we have to take it out at about four-thirty. Then we let it cool down for ten minutes and then we have ourselves some delicious Pastéis De Nata.”

Daryl hummed. “Portuguese Custard tart?”

You rolled your eyes at him, sending a playful smile up at him. “Sure, if you want to be a falante de inglês chato,” you joked, earning a faint, playful jab to your side, making you laugh. “Hey! Do you even know what I said?”

“Nope,” Daryl replied, shaking his head with a faint smile on his face. “But I do know tha' it probably wasn't a compliment.”

“You're right about that,” you laughed and nodded, nuzzling yourself snuggly against his side. However, you withdrew from his hold when he flinched in pain, sending him a concerned look. “What's wrong, amor?”

Daryl shook his head. “Nothin'. Jus' my father who got a bit carried away last nigh'. Nothin' I can't handle.”

Your heart sank to the depths of your stomach at his revelation. You took his hand in yours and interlaced your fingers, squeezing his hand reassuringly. However, you knew that Daryl hated addressing his home life out loud, so you opted to try and cheer him up.

“You know, we could run away together.”

Daryl raised his eyebrows in surprise, an amused smile gracing his beautiful features. “Yeah?” he asked, looking into your eyes. “And where would we even go?”

“Brazil,” you answered instantly, shrugging your shoulders. “I might be biased, but I do believe that it's one of the most beautiful countries in the world. I just know you'd love it.”

Daryl thought it over for a moment, before letting out an approving hum. “Well, let's say I agree to run away with ya to Brazil. What would we even do?”

“A gente poderia ir no Carnaval, e talvez visitar meus avós,” you mumbled to yourself, soothingly rubbing your thumb over your boyfriend's knuckles. You giggled at the confused look he gave you. “It doesn't matter what I said. We could do anything you want, gatinho. Just name it and I'd make it happen.”

“I've always wanted to go check out what Brazilians do during that festival ya keep ravin' 'bout,” he admitted, shrugging his shoulders. “So we could start with tha'?”

You smiled and nodded. “Anything you want, amor. We'd have to wait for Carnaval to start in a couple of months, but we could make it happen.”

Daryl smiled. “Have I ever told ya tha' I love ya?”

“You have,” you nodded, stepping into Daryl's arms and peering up at him. “And I do, too. Eu te amo tanto.”

You leaned in and kissed Daryl on the lips, savouring the taste of him. However, the moment was short-lived, because the power soon went out, causing you and Daryl to look at each other in confusion.

1. I think that he does not care what others think of him but when it comes to Killian he is constantly trying to make him proud and trying to get his approval. Subconsciously he already has but he does not see it because Killian does not know how to show it. 😔

Basically its a tweet of a reddit post (inception ik) basically of how Tim is basically rewriting the characters back to the way they were.

Everyone's been mentioning how the characters have been more in character and the actors are happy and that makes sense.

He's been making them more in character than they ever were.

And with the Buddie situation (yes not everything is about them but i am a buddie fan who happened to find and grow to love this show because of it) it makes the most sense.

Now that Oliver mentioned the love story and everyone assumed it was the shooting and being in live it made the most sense.

Who else was he going to be falling in love woth at the time? It surely wasn't Taylor. Their romantic relationship was always doomed to fail and it was a great friendship they had (ehhh sideye for Bobby situation and Jonah eventually) that lasted if they weren't too persnally involved in each others lives.

She'd have been a perfect friend for him to gossip about the drama at the 118 (not work cause you know she'd make a story). That relationship wasn't going to work. He's too honest and she's too opportunisic.

If it hadn't been Jonah it'd be something else and he'd feel the same sense of betrayal (also Buck kissing Lucy was betrayal but that also felt a lil like assult cause she got him reallllly drunk and if the roles were reversed people wouldn't be that enthusiastic about it).

The only other love story that's been written logically as a will they won't they tragic and emotionally complex story is Buck and Eddie's.

Season 2 he replaced his love intrest! Like come on!

But in all seriousness, the Ana breakup and ll the vague dollow your heart is basically being rehashed.

I remember someone mentioning that Marisol is just another Ana (whoever you are if you see this send me hit I'll put it in here) and that's actually true.

There's no worry because we're getting a conclusion on the fact that was supposed to happen years ago.

For the first one it's juicy storytelling.

For the other it makes sense as development for Eddie becoming comfortable with himself apart from his identity as a husband/widower, son, Catholic, and father.

He'll learn to bebhimself which he hadn't had the opportunity to do as he had fell into adulthood with his kid and then added on having a child with a disability that needs a lot of monetary support he ended up losing the chance to figure out who he is without all of that.

Even if it's not romantic (😔) it's great for him to realize he doesn't really need to be with anyone or fulfill a role he's not ready or willing to fill due to duty.

He can just be a father and work it iut that way.

Chris only wants his dad happy and I sense he knows his dad isn't happy at times or even worse he's not happy but is pretending so that his dad can be happy as he feels he has to give him that space/approval.

Chris is getting a storyline and he's always been observant so he'll most likely either explode in his feelings and tell his dad or tell him in a misunderstanding (he is getting to be a moody teen after all it's not going to be an adult reaction).

He's been close to death, heard his dad lose it and loat his mom. He's more mature than people give him credit for but the story hadn't included him much recently so we'll just have to see.

So I feel like I should prep this by saying before I figured out about LMK I was super into OPS's jttw series. So I made Zhao with the context of the book, and the book doesn't sugar coat things so Zhao's backstory is a bit uhhh, mature? There's no nsfw stuff but there is a lot, lot, loottt of angst (even though the backstory is kinda "simple"), so forgive me :'(

I did change up her backstory a bit for the LMK version because it is a kids show and I don't feel like the creators would stick with the dark tone of the original. Whenever I write OCs for sertant shows I try to write it with the context of "How would the creator tackle this if my oc was a Canon character?" Yk? You don't write a depressed, emo, Greek hero for a light hearted magical girl show.

So ye, this first segment will be her JTTW backstory sum-up and I'll note what is changed in the LMK version at the end👍

JTTW/original backstory(this is long, read at your own risk)-

-Zhao wasn't raised in the best household.. Not only was her father a total womanizer with 3 wives (at the time of her birth, by now he has 7) and who knows how many mistresses, but her elder family member were pretty verbally abusive. I mentioned before but Xiaotian and Biao-Qi (Zhao's father and grandfather) wanted Zhao to be born as a male because in their clan its essential for the first born of every generation to be a boy, so when they found out about Zhao being a girl they were really salty and thought of her as "The disgrace" of the family. (hence why Zhaoyan is a name generally given to Chinese boys, which yea Xiaotian is the type of douche-bag to chose the name of the child at the start of his marriage without the mothers approval)

-Zhao was the one basically raising her younger siblings because her parents couldn't be bothered to, Pangfua (Zhao's mom) couldn't even bare to look at Xiaotian's face so the last thing she cared for was some random children of him and his mistresses, and Xiaotian's other wifes didn't really care for the children either. However, Zhao ADORED her siblings because she was always good with little kids. But as time went on and on, with so many children coming in to the household she started getting tired, but what could she do? At the time she was barely a teenage girl, if she complained to her father she could legitimately be at risk to lose her head. Like I said, Xiaotian couldn't care less about Zhao, he doesn't give a damn if she likes taking care of her siblings or not.

-Eventually Zhao grew too tired of her family, and decided to leave. This might seem selfish but holy frick, the girlie felt like a maid, and it's not like she doesn't care for her family, it's that they couldn't care less about her. All of her siblings were old enough to take care of each other and the other family members treated them well, why shouldn't she be able to "go live her own life"?

- The first place she went was to a temple dedicated to the Chinese tiger spirit- Hu Ye. The reason she went to him specifically was because he was sort of the protector/symbol of Zhao's family (for context think about how Apollo was the protector of the Trojans in the Iliad), she prayed to him all night, she asked humbly to become a Jade Maiden that serves Guan Yin (because that was probably the best option. Also just so you have context- Hu Ye blessed the girls in Zhao's family with a healing gift. So basically they could heal any illness, wound, missing limb etc...). But to her surprise Hu Ye saw what she did as "unforgiving". You shouldn't leave your family who loves you so much, not cool >:( (cut him some slack tho, whenever to family would worship him they would make them self's seem like the most perfect people ever). And so in short he gave her flaming orange hair so she never forgets that she is a Tiger Maiden (bcz orange=tigers and he just be petty like that bro).

-Eventually she went to the woods but she was found by Lánhūa- a forest spirit. Lánhūa took pity on her and decided to take her in as one of her nymphs. Because Zhao had the healing gift she was a great addition to the palace Lánhūa lived in, Zhao was always the one making sure everyone was healthy and the worst someone suffered was a common cold, and even those wouldn't last long.

-However one day while she was collecting fruits for the palace she stumbled upon a strange noise near a mountain, she went to check what it was and wouldn't you have guessed its good ol' Sun Wukong. The pair fairly quickly became friends, Zhao would often tell him stories and keep him company and Sun (who was under that damn mountain for 346 years by the time he and Zhao met) would listen and tell her his life stories.

-At the early stages of the jttw Monkey actually did try and convince Zhao to come with him and the other pilgrims, she would be the one taking care of Tripitaka and making sure he stays healthy. Zhao refused at first but after some time she agreed. Her and Tripitaka were very close because they were both kinda the "sane ones" of the group and Zhao took her position very seriously. Sanzang eventually noticed that this was a bit weird considering how layed back the other pilgrims were, so he confronted her and Zhao opened up to him. And that's how I'd show her backstory in the book.

So in short: Girl leaves abusive family and prays to god, god makes her a ginger and she gets adopted by a hot forest spirit. A monkey befriends her and convinces her to give free health care to his friend **emotional**

Holy crap that took so long to write/ Notes on how her backstory would probably be changed in the lmk version:

In the lmk version I think they'd tone down how bad her family was just a bit, again it is a kids show. I think the start would generally be the same but that Hu Ye would grant her wish. But instead of a disciple for Guan Yin I think they'd change it into a Peach Maiden, so that she could meet the brotherhood and befriend Wukong like she did in the original backstory. They'd probably remove Lánhūa as well (because she is a very minor character in Zhao's backstory). So yea in short of what I think the creators of LMK would do with her character: -Hu Ye grants her wish of becoming a Peach Maiden. -Orange would be her natural hair color(bcz tigers woo). -I honestly think they'd give her a sort-of survivor's guilt because of the whole "leaving your family" thing instead of "Ama give u tiger hair so you never forget how you left your family >:(" -She meets the brotherhood through their lil' rebellion -Healing powers would probably be toned down a bit so there's still some risk

Someone willing to call out his bullshit: Sky is a dumbass who was raised by some of the most evil people in the dimension, he has some really weird behaviors from avoiding pissing them off. He needs someone who's willing to tell him to stop that shit. Someone who's also willing to drag him back if he tries to run away

Someone that will be patient with his complete lack of social skills: Sky WILL say something rude to everyone eventually. He has no social skills and no cognitive empathy. He's autistic and literally would never figure out how what he said was rude unless told. Someone dating him absolutely cannot be easily offended

Someone that isn't overwhelmed easily: Sky's life is a god damn cluster fuck of problems and Sky is very easily overwhelmed with emotional problems. Like when he struggled to tell Bloom what was going on with his arranged fianceé because he didn't want to put Diaspro in a bad situation with his parents and was kinda paralyzed by indecision. Sky is terrible at dealing with emotional situations (Sky seeing Brandon go over a cliff: uhhh the mission??? <- distracting himself) so he's obviously easily overwhelmed and he needs someone who's less that to help him

Someone that appreciates/wants mother hen behavior: Sky is such a mother hen. Anyone is even slightly injured or upset it's immediate mom friend override and he will now be doing everything in his power to make them feel better, so they have to like this

Someone passionate: Sky's parents try to manipulate him into a relationship they are not letting him have non approved hobbies. He'd absolutely love to listen to someone talk about what makes them passionate and support them....he is living vicariously, maybe he'll pick up a real hobby XD. Idk I just feel like Sky would love being around someone passionate

Currently the best contender is Timmy....if I can give Timmy a niche that's different from Tecna's it's all over for you hoes. Timmy is a bit easily overwhelmed and has low self esteem in s1 but has a whole arc about being less that. Growing a back bone, getting self esteem, yeah. Also s1 Timmy telling Sky and Riven to shut up my beloved, and is the basis for this ship. He's so done with his boyfriend /affectionate. Plus Bloom likes blondes and Sky likes red heads

Idk they just need to be able to handle Sky's personality, and be super nice because if they aren't it will make Sky very upset (local good boy may upset people on accident but if you do it in purpose he will be number 1 defender of the other person)

Thoughts on Doce and Trece

We love Trece and Doce so much haa. We don't love how their stories only revolve around their love lives (we don't love what they did with Roby/Doce especially, we're kinda neutral on Tamara/Trece), but apart from that everything about them is so!!

They use two names interchangeably. They are mean / more direct than Franky and Roby so they kinda change our perception on androids (who are portrayed through Franky and Roby as well-meaning and kind of naïve). They have a complex relationship with their mother. She visibly loves them but is hurting them waaay more. Also love how they have a different relationship with their mom. Andrés being more jealous of Franky and wanting his mom's approval more while Doce is more so doing her own thing. Their relationship is so cute too, we love the episode where Kassandra puts Doce's save in Franky's body and when she asks Andrés if he knows that she's his sis he just nods because of course he recognizes his big sis!!

Ok but Gojo showing up to any school events Mochi or Megumi are in and be obnoxiously supportive in whatever they’re doing. When it’s over Megumi leads Mochi away before Gojo can get to them because he’s embarrassed.

Or him dumping his workload on some other poor sorcerer(s) because he wanted to be a chaperone for the school’s field trip to the zoo. With the moms trying to flirt with him by complimenting his skills as a “single father” and how he’s a really good father for putting everything to the side just to spend time with his kids (he never corrected them that the two kids under his care aren’t his and only one is biologically related to him). I can see him flirting with other moms and making a show on how it’s hard being a single father, while Megumi is feeling secondhand embarrassment and Mochi is just highly amused and entertained with how these moms are swooning and trying to get with her uncle, it just makes her giggle. (There was a young single mom that mochi lowkey wanted to be with her uncle but alas, it never happened 😔😔)

After the day is over he dramatically monologues about the hardships of single parenthood as he takes Mochi and Megumi home for the day. Mochi was just happy to spend time with her uncle while Megumi endured the secondhand embarrassment.

I love how Gojo makes time for Mochi and Megumi despite his busy schedule (Ah, but the poor sorcerers). He's so embarrassing but in the best way possible when cheering for both of them from the crowd because he's just so proud, and to the people next to him he'll mention that's his cute niece and the angsty kid next to her is Megumi!!

Omg, you're absolutely right Gojo chaperoning for the school's field trip would shamelessly accept all the single father compliments. I actually think he likes that attention a little more than being told he's super handsome and good looking. Megumi doesn't really say anything but roll his eyes because it's partly true and he doesn't wanna upset Mochi since she looks so happy that Gojo's presently there with them. But also aww!! There's someone that Mochi approves of for her uncle Gojo? I think she got her hopes up a little when she saw they interacted once but yeah too bad :(

Also, Gojo takes a bunch of photos of M&M during the school events and field trips for memories to which Mochi likes making them into collages or even scrapbooks!!

1. How does your character think of their father? What do they hate and love about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did the father have?

Beckett has the most complex feelings about his father. At best, Ted was indifferent to Beckett, but irritated by and openly, deeply disappointed in him at worst. For many reasons, Ted never wanted to have children with Meredith and this is evident in the relationship (or lack-thereof) he has with his son. That being said, Beckett does not think highly of him. He spent one half of his youth begging for his father's approval, and the other half vehemently rebelling against him out of spite. He hates his father's anger, fears that the same anger lives in him, but despises his father's indifference toward their family more than anything. He'd never willingly admit it, but he always admired his father's confidence and ability to stand in front of a room full of people, no matter if they loved or hated him, and command its attention and respect. As a little boy, he felt like his dad must be a real superhero - powerful and capable and important. As he got older though, it drove him crazy because he knew who his dad was behind closed doors. I won't go into influence too much (trying to avoid being too spoilery lol) but um... Ted pretty much destroyed his son's confidence, and pushed Beckett into a life of "safe solitude." Ted and Beckett's poor relationship even hurt the bond Beckett had with his mother. He adored Meredith, they were extremely close, but now... he just feels pain when he thinks of her. 😔 Somehow though, Beckett still loves them both and wishes things could be different. His relationship with his family actually makes me the most sad.

5. Were they overprotected as a child? Sheltered?

Zoe was very sheltered as a child and her mom was a textbook helicopter mom lmao. Darlene (her mom) definitely meant well, she loved Zoe so much and showered Zoe in affirmations, bragged about her daughter to anyone who would listen, and provided all the comforts a child could need and more. Honestly all of my Strangerville OCs are holding onto something from the past (or several somethings) that cloud each of them individually. Erwin is the most clouded by the past and probably having the hardest time moving on, but outside of the main Strangerville gang... Ted Roswell is probably the most caught up in the "what if" and affected by the past. The choices he made in the past destroyed who he was and turned him into who he is today. In this case, he would have to forgive himself and that's... not likely. But we'll see lmao!

Heres my Tim headcanons that I only use in personal roleplays but. Meh

1. He was heavily neglected by his parents. It's a common hc but I flesh it out a bit with the why. Hes an unplanned pregnancy. Kinda a scandle. On top of that, Janet Drake wanted a girl so bad that she straight up guilted Tim into becoming the daughter she never had. Tim would say he agreed to all of it to make her happy and love him. And she loved him in her own fucked up way before she died. It fucked him up. His dad on the other hand got worse after Janet died. Hes more verbally abusive. He thinks Tim is disgusting. Tim struggles to realize he doesn't need his fathers approval and he can love his mom and miss her, but acknowledge what she did to him was horrible.

2. Siblings traumatize each other. I swear each batchild has bad memories with alllll their siblings. But they love each other. What I usually do in Rps is have Damian, yes, be mean to Tim, but he's mean to everyone, but gradually the more he learns about Tim the more he respects him. And he apologizes at some point. I wouldn't say it traumatizes Tim but it does hurt his self confidence and he works through that

3. No idea what this is about but it sounds fun lol. Not my cup of tea tho. Dick is a good man. He loves Tim. In my perfect world at least. To each their own.

4. Hard agree. He's scary ❤ love him for that
