was thinking about how hua cheng was a violent menace to society pre-3rd ascension - like the rumors weren't wrong or just about the 33 gods, cuz even just in the early reverend of empty words arc as he's going through the list sqx gives xie lian, he's like 'oh no yeah i killed this guy, this guy, this guy, he xuan killed this guy, i killed this one too... ....like they deserved it tho gege. you'd get it if you were there'

and he's always been a little psychotic, like he as a small child survived a whole assault on the battlefield -in front of xie lian, ie didn't just survive by basis of xie lian being so strong- and was like, slaughtering what had to have been grown men. he killed people(and we know he did, he never got the face disease despite coming in direct contact with the first victims and also becoming a nurse) and didn't even seem fazed by it, even while xie lian himself was trembling afterward about having killed people for the first time, 7 years his senior and having grown up with a sword in his hand.

so like. do you guys think he ever gets like that now. like after the honeymoon phase ends and xie lian insists on going back to scrap collecting because he can't just stay idle forever (and we know he still does this given the bedtime story extra), hua cheng starts causing trouble if his gege's not around.

half of me feels like he wouldn't wanna make his gege disappointed in him so he wouldn't get too bad but i can't shake how funny it would be if the heavens have to beg xie lian to take hua cheng with him on scrap collecting trips, like an unruly child that cannot be trusted alone and won't react well to babysitters

I really liked “I Saw The TV Glow” for a lot of reasons like the lighting and sound design and stuff

But I also really liked it because how similar I felt to it. Like you watch a show you love so much you want to Be In It and all you do is interact with That Show to the point where you start talking like it and you make everything you see like it because you don’t Know anything else

I really liked owens character because of how Stuck he is in his life. He says he doesn’t think about “that stuff” because it makes him feel gross so he doesnt. He takes a job at a place he doesn’t like and when it gets shut down he goes with the manager to the next place also doing a job he hates. When his parents die he lives in the same house he grew up in because he doesn’t want to leave. He had one friend and when she disappeared presumed dead he didn’t do anything but reminiscenced on his time with her and watching the show she helped him watch. You can also see how he starts taking care of himself less after his father died, in the last scenes of the movie he looks like he barely eats or drinks water, he doesn’t do anything but his job. “Years feel like seconds” because he isn’t doing anything of importance he lost everything that he looked forward too

He doesn’t talk above a normal speaking volume until he’s literally DYING and even after he apologizes still out of breath. He’s still dying then. No one responds to his apologies or responded to him when he was screaming

He gets a chance to leave and go with Maddie to The Pink Opaque and he gets scared, he gets a chance to leave with her when he was younger and he gets scared. He’s so unhappy with his life but he doesn’t want to change it because he doesn’t know what else to do

Pls someone talk to me about the quiet codependence Rust and Marty have, the too-easy domesticity they can fall into. Their constant arguing and moral disagreement that blends so easily into sharing clothes and a bottle and a home. The open hostility that silently becomes worry when no one else is watching. The implicit, unyielding trust that's never questioned and always counted on, between two people born and living in a world that's punished trust from the beginning.

It all started when Teen Dick for some reason or another became obsessed with Real Housewives.

So, like any normal parent who wants to hide their shameful past, to which has been dubbed "the salon incident," from his kids, Bruce goes to extremes to get the episode he featured in removed. By any means necessary.

Dick, when he unknowingly gets to the season that Bruce was featured: Aw, I can't find episode 10 anywhere!! What happened??

Bruce, feigning complete ignorance: Who knows. Maybe you should stop watching that show. There are better ways to spend your free time.
