For example this one time you drove the Honda Civic.

Nobody understood why you were the one behind the wheels 'cause now you're ramming into everything with Logan grabbing on the handle for dear life while Wade is having the time of his life at the back.

"Stop the damn car before we crash, bub! Yer gonna kill someone!" Logan shouted and at the same time Wade was screaming out the lyrics to "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC.

Did I mention how different these two are with you?

Wade loves it when you run to hug him, he would swing you around a couple of times with your legs wrapped around his waist.

As for Logan, he prefers something less than that. A simple hug is enough and you can't complain much about it because the way he completely engulfs you in his embrace always made your chest flutter.

It's no surprise that they are protective over you.

Like when you were captured by some troops in the void. The fire guy, Johnny Storm, couldn't help but try to flirt with you. He figured why not shoot his shot right?

"Hey..." He'd say, flashing you a cheesy smile.

And seeing his attempt to charm you, you couldn't help but find it amusing and chuckle.

Clearly the two didn't like it.

Which is why that may or may not be the reason why Wade decided to out the man and get him killed 🤷‍♀️ I guess we'll never know 🤔

You and Wade enjoy pulling pranks on Logan.

The sight of him being pissed off pleases you both.

There was this one time you guys swapped his whiskey to a non-alcoholic drink and you can imagine his frustration.

"WADE!!" But he can never get mad at you. He just can't.

Even Wade complains about this privilege of yours.

"Seriously Lo?! You're gonna get mad at me and not our lovely prank partner here? Come on man, we're both guilty parties in this crime scene. If you wanna get angry, at least share the spotlight :("

Cue you sticking your tongue out at Wade as he pouts with puppy dog eyes.

All jokes aside, the two love and support you dearly.

I like to think Logan is more of an old romantic and Wade is the adventurous type.

That's why it can sometimes take a while for them to decide what to get as a present for you.

"Why the fuck would she want a pillowcase with our faces on it?" Logan asked with genuine disgust in his eyes.

"Why wouldn't she?! It's cute as fuck, and you can never have too many pictures of us together. Besides, it's a lot cheaper than buying a life-sized statue of me for her bedroom, although that's an option too, I hear Wolverine-shaped body pillows are all the rage these days" Without realising, he continued on muttering nonsense to himself which had Logan roll his eyes.

"I'm buying her the leather jacket and it's final" Not letting Wade say anything, he'd walk off to the cashier with him left behind. His action causing him to get irritated.

"What about the budget?!?!" He'd raise his voice but Logan simply ignored him. Fed up, he stomps on his feet as he points at his back.

"Fine, you big lug!! I'll let you have your way this time. But don't come crying to me when she dumps us for a pair of more decisive superheroes!!" He'd shout.

In the end you appreciated the gifts you got for your birthday. Each gift speaks for their character.

You guys definitely have lazy days.

Days where you'll lounge around in pajamas and watch cheesy romantic comedies together, complete with a pile of blankets and snacks.

Expect there to be lots of laughter, cringing, and the occasional eye rolling. Not to forget how you three would start making fun of the characters and the cliche plotlines.

Logan clearly struggles to sit through the entire movie marathon and you always have the to be the one to pull his arm to prevent him from leaving.

No but seriously Wade calls you that and the nickname has stuck to you.

You enjoy sleeping in the middle with the two on either sides. Half of the time you always wake up with the two fighting over you.

Just imagine Logan pulling you closer to him but before he could even do that, Wade would be quick to pull you back to his embrace despite them both being asleep.

You like to think it's their reflexes. That even when sleeping they're still fighting with each other 😭

However you absolutely adore the two.

Logan will MELT when you kiss his knuckles. Especially when you do it with your eyes locked to his. He will literally go feral for you.

And Wade? He absolutely loveloveloves it when you baby him. It's his guilty pleasure. Hold him close with his face placed against your chest and he swears the voices in his head finally quiets down. That's why you're his angel.

Also, the two really enjoy showering you with kisses. You can barely ever hold back a smile with the two smooching every surface of your face.

Will do anything to get your praise.

The competitiveness is too much.

Oh Logan got you a bouquet? Well Wade got you a bouquet made of tacos. Who's the better one now huh? 😋

To be fair Wade is Wade. There's nothing you can do about it... but that doesn't mean Logan is ever gonna let him get his way.

"Don't know... could care less..." He'd say, wrapping an arm around you to snuggle with you. In the other room Wade has been stuffed inside the closet. Completely restrained and duck taped.

Yandere Weeping Clown Thoughts!!

CW: Nothing too bad, just your usual creeper, manipulation, and analysis(?) on his character. Tbh hes so yandere coded that everything blurs together atp (and I'm using "yandere coded" sort of loosely bc that makes me sound like a yandere enabler or smth, which like, lol no but in fiction yeah funne). Called him Joker bc it was easier to use/remember than Weepy, and also bc they called them that in all the lore drop so 🤷‍♀️

A/n: Just saw the new Hullabaloo lore drop and IDV has taken me back into its clutches. He is so yandere material 🫶 Proof read enough to go "that's postable."

Joker is quite sensitive to his darlings perception of him. He always tries to do the right thing, tries to please you so that when you smile at him, that strangely unfamiliar warmth spreads through his chest. A smile tugging on the corners of his mouth, stringing his lips up as if he were a puppet. And a puppet of your design he shall be if you wished it so.

Joker is definitely a worshipping sort of yandere. He'll do most of anything for his darling if it made them just a teeny bit closer. Any progress is better than no progress. Even if it means visiting you in the dead of night to "check on you," or often "bumping into you" in places that you frequent at the manor. He'll stop bothering you if you reject his advances, but he'll come back around sooner or later. Joker doesn't want you to hate him, but he also doesn't want to be away from you! Although you may say some hurtful things like, "It's making me uncomfortable, sorry," or, "Can you leave me alone for a while," he knows deep down that if he teeters around the boundaries you set for long enough, he can wiggle his way through and to your heart. At least, that's what he hopes.

Despite his subservient nature to his darling, Joker isn't so obedient around others. He has his more introverted traits for sure, but his sensitivity to anger is fragile, especially when it comes to you. Joker doesn't have many qualms about taking a stand for you or himself if it came to it. He wants to be your protector, so he isn't very afraid to say something if he feels the need to. It can become quite the scene if the other party doesn't back down, making either you or someone else the mediator of the debacle. It's exhausting to have to manage your persistent follower, but it's better to handle a situation rather than let it spiral out of control, leaving the consequences of his mental break to you.

With his fragility also comes his keen eye for any chances to take advantage of a situation. Joker isn't very intimidating physically or feared for being calculating, but he is usually dismissed, and that makes for perfect cover if he plays his cards right. Framing people for his crimes can be a walk in the park depending on the situation, and manipulating those weaker than him isn't something he wholeheartedly takes pride in, but if it's for you, if it's for you, the singular most important person and one he adores most in his rotten life, then he's happy to oblige. If it wins you over in the end, then that's all that matters, right?

Joker will try to convince his darling to stay by his side and will get more desperate depending on the circumstances. He's not a kidnapper type, more of an idealist. Not to confuse that with delusional though. Joker knows full well how you probably feel about your strained relationship, but if he doesn't try now, he'll never get to be with you, and that's unacceptable. He wants to live a romantic and sweet life with you day in and day out, so he'd hate to see you miserable and locked up. If he can't love you the way he wants to, then what would be the point?

Even with that, Joker isn't above guilt tripping or petty manipulation tactics like that. He really can be unpredictable at times and can become very dangerous if his darling constantly shows no interest. Although he is a romantic idealist in his mind with you, he's also the type to slip into the "if I can't have you, no one can" mentality. He might just end up hurting his darling, but it won't be anything too drastic by the time it happens. Joker would feel terrible, terrified, and utterly disgusted with himself after seeing your petrified state. He'd drop to his knees and attempt to mutter consoling words, somewhat even begging for your forgiveness.

"Y- Y/n, no, oh no, no... Y/n, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, please. Don't cry, I didn't mean to. I truly am sorry. I had just- I wasn't thinking straight. I would never hurt you. If only you hadn't done this, then... No, just come back to me Y/n."

He is still quite demanding even while apologizing, which would make your fear even greater. Joker doesn't want to force his darling's hand, but if it really came down to it, he'd give his darling a grade A verbally manipulative beat down. He'll use anything and everything against you so that all else but him looks ugly in that moment. Sure being at the receiving end of his unstable anger was horrifying, but be honest with yourself, were it not for him who has saved you countless times in both matches and inside the manor, you would be long dead by now. Anything is on the table, anything just so you will come back to him once more. He has little to no guilt in it, just the fear that he will seriously break if you're still in a right state of mind. So, in turn, he'll unfortunately have to break you first.

Dead Friend Forever - Ep 11

Another episode, another 10/10 🏆

It never ceases to amaze me how much this series is based in real life. As a person living in a country where the alcohol problem is significant (as almost everywhere 🤷‍♀️), remembering the 80s and 90s, I know situations in which children have to pick up their drunk parents from the streets, endure shame and public humiliation, take care of them as if THEY were the adults. I also know situations in which conflicts over land, the taking of property by someone in power, drove people crazy (I worked with a woman whose MIL went crazy because of it). I also know people who, as children, had to take care of the house because their parents couldn't do it due to their illnesses, addictions and traumas. These are real stories. I KNOW these stories.

Although for a long time I was rather convinced that Non was dead, now, despite the literal facts, I am starting to doubt it 🤡 It's too obvious in this show full of non-obviousness, but on the other hand, the victim's passing in such an ordinary, anticlimactic way is somehow… fitting with the overall painful reality of this show, the banality and ordinariness of evil. Victims often just... go, in silence, without fanfare, without a bang. Although that's why, despite everything, hope somehow grew in me, as if in spite of the facts...

The series amazingly showed love at first sight, the pinkness that accompanied White's entrance, the music, the atmosphere… but it's not the first time, Phee was just as instantly infatuated with Non, as Jin was with Phee.

The series also, consciously or unconsciously, shows that there was a solution when it came to money: there was legal work that did not involve suffering, violence, sex or crime. Tee paid off Non's debts by working at an internet cafe!!! And it's amazing when I think about the fact that Non slept in Keng "out of gratitude" for the money and Tee, looking for money for his father, agreed to work in a criminal organization. And what's more baffling, it's even shown that Tee receives very LITTLE money from his uncle, so it's not even a matter of "selling out to the mafia" for a good money that would allow for professional treatment of his father in the hospital! (I actually thought the whole time that his father was in the hospital and he was paying for his expensive treatment!!!). Even this terrible uncle says:

As I mentioned in another post, I can't bring myself to feel sympathy for Tee because Tee targeted Non, chose him as an easy victim, introduced him to the criminal world, lied about the camera when he really didn't have to (he could have come up with some other lie, for example that they entered the classroom and the camera was already broken, or no one touched it at all and whatever - heh, I came up with this lie in a second so that no one would get hurt - and why did Por bring it to school in the first place?) and then actively work with Top against Non and Keng, although he really, really didn't have to. Tee never de-escalated the situation, he was always the driving force behind events. Even though he didn't have to.

I appreciate that Non is shown to be physically exhausted, which is the result of being beaten. It would be strange if after something like that he just felt good and worked hard. His mental state certainly affects his health as well. How terrible it is that Non thinks that no one is waiting for him at home. that there is no one to return to. It's a child's heartbreaking belief that their parents don't care about them enough to notice that they are gone, to look for them. This is Non's double tragedy: what is happening to him and the fact that he doesn't have something, someone, to give him strength. Even on his note, he states that he is not a loser as his motivation...

The best scenes of course went to Tan, oh how I loved everything. The way he directs Phee towards Tee, the way he incites him. That Tan is not afraid of death. That he has a plan because he didn't trust Phee. It's very possible that for Tan it may no longer be about Non, but about pure revenge and karma and punishment and atonement.

There is an anime that I like, One Outs 😉 There is one scene in this anime in which the main character calls out people, especially politicians, that when they screw up something, they bow, apologize and that's the end of it. That they never pay for their sins, never face real consequences, that they never experience what the victims of their actions experienced. And this scene stays with me all the time while watching DFF. Because we can see, that the boys feel guilty, some more, some less, episode 11 showed that Tee had the greatest sense of guilt of all of them, because he was in the very center of events and knows the most. But what good does it do to Non? Who cares about their guilt and whispered apologies under the influence of drugs, in fear? Did their guilt help his parents or did it help Non and Tan?

None of them ever suffered any consequences or tried to right the wrongs. ON THE CONTRARY. Everyone pretends that nothing happened and is downright furious that this case keeps coming back and ruins their peaceful lives, and it dares to make them uncomfortable. Each of them lives a good life, including Tee, who is in love and happy. The movie is still finished. THE MOVIE IS STILL FINISHED AND THEY ARE PROFITING FROM IT.

Revenge for wrong is one of the oldest tropes in the stories created by people. The Erinyes are some of the oldest figures in the mythology of my part of the world for a reason. It is a disagreement that bad people can get away with their bad deeds. Tan fits this narrative perfectly. He carries revenge, quite possibly only for himself. So somehow I'm glad that "if Non would have wanted it" didn't shake his conviction in any way 💖

I'm still holding off on judging Phee and his behavior towards Tan until the finale. Despite everything, something still doesn't feel right to me 🤔

When things get dangerous at the beginning of the series and they immediately suspect Non's ghost, each of them repeats the same narrative from the past: fear, guilt, the need to escape, to move away from the the problem. In all cultures there is something like prayer, appeasement of vengeful spirits, confrontation with what has been done to these spirits. Notice that all of them, even when they think it might be the "Ghost Non" that is chasing them and taking revenge, not one of them even for a second proposes: let's apologize to ghost Non, let's pray for him, let's promise him and ourselves, that if we come out alive, we will do something about it, we will MAKE AMENDS, do penance, even if it will be inconvenient for us - because that is what penance is about, it is supposed to be "inconvenient", just like the victim was "inconvenient" ffs!!! BUT NO. There is only worrying about themselves, destroying disks, destroying the memory of Non, running away from the problem, blaming others.

Black and Tan: A Crime of Fashion

The MELANIE LYNSKY episode! (Or at least thats what i call it. upon seeing her on screen for 0.2 seconds i knew she was going to get pretty big. She’s such a phenomenal actress.) I honestly lowkey shipped her with shawn. She was so sweet and i feel like it brought out some of the sweet in shawn too. Shes also a character i wish would come back one day, like they do a murder mystery movie and they’re on her yacht or something idk shes really good friends with them all still, they could make it happen :)

Lassie has given up. He has resigned himself to his fate that Shawn will always be up in his shit for the rest of eternity.

LOOK HOW MUCH FUN DULÉ IS HAVING HERE! OHMYGOD HE FUCKING KILLED ME IN THIS EP!

why am i surprised he knows the name of the model in downtown Santa Barbara and is a huge fan? Im starting to see why Gus is single. He gets way too obsessed, but also, Shawn wasn’t kidding when he told that one chick he was willing to change everything about himself. This also adds a nice layer to Gus’s character because we see part of him wants that exclusivity and prestige. He wants to feel like someone others admire, which is brilliantly contrasted with Shawns more down to earth not really caring what others think vibes.

And speaking of contrasts, i love this bit; not only because its funny, but because it feels like a great metaphor for how shawn and gus approach life. Gus is trying so hard to win and Shawn doesn’t care and the outcome is the same.

And i think its so funny whenever Gus gets so obsessed with whatever world their exploring hes pretty much useless and Shawn has to be the rational one.

Every once in a while psych will do this POV shot in shawns perspective thats not being used to point out a clue and i think its really cool. I wish they would have done some more like it because its such a great way to show how shawns constantly aware of his surroundings even when he’s not on a case.

And this was brilliant! It has to be one of the best psych-outs in all of of Psych! Fucking legendary!

I felt so bad for shawn, playing middle man between henry and karen (which is the most unprofessional thing shes done haha), but it gave henry and shawn one of their best scenes at the end when henry is practically begging shawn to understand, like you can almost sense that he wants to confess right there that it was maddie who abandoned the family not him (or maybe im seeing that because i know its the truth. 🤷‍♀️) and shawn just doesn’t want to deal with it. Its interesting that henry was dragging shawn into it though, like he was using it as a way to see if shawn was okay with it now, cause otherwise he could have asked his friends right? It didn’t have to be shawn.

Honestly it shouldn’t have been. He knew it made him uncomfortable and he kept telling him to stop asking, but like always henry pushed it.

(Oh and also this kind of adds to the mystery of how well karen and henry know each other because she seems keenly invested in it, plus, when her friend told her he left a message she said that sounded like henry. So she must know him well enough that she can say this casually. Sidenote: that moment karen opens the door and Shawn looks horrified was priceless!)

Lastly, its interesting that shawn is proud to have never been in therapy when his mom is a psychologist. I feel like she would have instilled in him a better understanding of what therapy does and that its not something to be ashamed of. Likely the writers just hadn’t figured out maddies profession yet, but still.

Not to discourse in your inbox, but the reason HOTD fans dislike Helaemond so much isn’t even to do with them being incest or “proship”, because these same people usually like to discuss Helaegon. It’s they think the idea of this ship threatens Team Green as the morally correct option or weakens their side in the fandom wars, so they have to talk about how OOC it is and shippers are all self inserting. Which is crazy because (assuming you’re caught up!!) Aemond just tried to brutally murder his brother. I don’t think him then doing some light kissing with his brother’s wife is entirely beyond his moral compass. 🤷‍♀️

Yeah, my impression was that there's a substantial group of Team Green fans that hate Helaemond because they think it would make the Greens seem like hypocrites because of Alicent's diatribe about adultery and Aemond's comments about the "Strong boys", etc.

That does make some sense. But -

First of all, there's way to ship Helaemond where they have never acted on their feelings, and a lot of people do ship it that way.

Second, Aemond might have mocked Jace and Luce for being bastards but I feel like there's a difference, fair or not, from the perspective of the characters living in that world, and in that exact context, between cheating with another Targaryen, a full brother, and cheating with some other family. Because the children, while bastards, would still have two Targaryen parents and would still only have Viserys for a grandfather, etc. It doesn't break the line in the same way.

Third, everyone could tell and everyone knew that Jace and Luce weren't the sons of Rhaenyra's husband, so there was this whole other element of "flouting it" and having no shame rather than it being a family secret. (Not that I think Rhaenyra flouted it.)

Fourth, arguably Aegon has been shown in a better light this season and I don't think he's an abusive husband. But Helaena's affair, if she had one, is often thought of as representing a sort of happiness or escape for her, and I don't think that's the attitude Alicent and others had towards Rhaenyra's affair. Alicent kind of thinks Rhaenyra is a whore sometimes? That oversimplifies things but gets my point across best. And I just don't think that would be the attitude by most towards Helaena having an affair with Aemond. Plus Rhaenyra had A LOT of choice about who she was going to marry. Helaena had no choice.

And fifth, as you said, is being a hypocrite really worse than their other crimes? That's the thing that's going to ruin the Greens?

I feel some Team Green fans think that they have to justify liking Team Green or have to make Team Green seem "better" in some way. It's OK to just like them better and be more interested in them. It's OK to want them to win and/or be more popular just because you find them more compelling.

Granted, I wish the writing was taking a more evenhanded approach to the two sides. Extreme Team Black is salty about the few changes that have been made that make the Greens look better or more sympathetic than they might have otherwise, but overall it's pretty clear that Rhaenyra is the legitimate heir according to what was established in the show and would make a better queen and that the Greens are generally worse people and a little wild. I think it's more fun when there's no obvious "right" side unless it's straight up good vs. evil. We've kind of got a "good (+ Damon) vs. less good" thing here. I wish it was just less good vs less good.

A lot of Helaemond anti sentiment is also coming from Aegon stans and yeah, that's just gonna happen. That's fandom. I don't blame them for not liking it. Aegon and Helaena should have had more scenes together, I completely agree about that. But that's also the problem with an ensemble show filled with interesting characters. There's not enough time and the focus is always on scenes that set something up. (Plus I love long scenes of characters talking about their feelings. But most directors would consider that a pacing issue.) And they're constrained by the book.

I'm just dreaming of the day when I go to the Helaemond tag and it's full of fanart and gifsets and commentary about Helaemond scenes. Imagine.

1. it started with techno, who noticed an uprising in "heroes" around the country. at first he was wary of it but then it advanced and they started running things and established themselves "on top" and kinda just ruined the flow of everything, so techno stood up. i think it'd be pretty cool if techno kinda relied on manifestations to inflict pain on the heroes at first, super low-key and just for his own satisfaction. but then he got really good at it and for some weird-universe-reason it turned into something he can just ... do on command ,,,,,,, so THEN he established himself as a villain, karrohaird (he wanted porker but niki closed that down pretty quick), and became pretty popular.

as for wilbur, he also wasn't a fan of the heroes running everything so he tried out for what karrohaird was doing, using an old book he's had since childhood that had always yielded positive results when he conducts a spell that lets him get his way for the day. he

and that's kind of how techno formed a dislikal of sophos (wilbr), because wilbur copied what he's doing (he considers it unoriginal which isn't a huge deal to him but when he playfully points it out, wilbur does make it a big deal)

so it's petty crimes and spite heroes cause eventually the heroes do try to up their game. idk. im just here for an angelduo scene

2. tommy goes undercover because he knows he'll create unnecessary conflict if wilbur and techno find out he's friends/allies with both of them (which isn't exactly the case but tommy still would never risk it). so for wilbur/sophos he's his vigilante self, and with karrohaird he's tommy

3. i mean it's kinda both, technically they're keeping crime active in the city but it's for a good cause in the longrun

This week's blind items from Metro. We actually know very little of what's going to happen on the show from this point on, and that makes these speculations that much harder... I'm always hoping to find clues to what will happen with Aaron, but nothing stands out here.

OKAY SO! I've actually been thinking about this for a while as a possibility because my mind runs wild with this shit as we all know all too well by now aksksk

I was actually thinking about everything I had in my pipeline because once I get finished with this 1 shot I'm doing for a fic exchange I wanna actually sit down and dedicate time to getting through Chazzerella because I meant to do it literally MONTHS ago so I could get to work on OUAD 2, and then we have Chazz Princeton and the Seven Duelists, and then I was like OH F U C K

RAPUNZEL.

MY RAPUNZEL.

BARBIE.

And now here we are akskksksks

BUT THE PLOT BRUH I'M COOKING SOME GUD SHIT IN THIS MINDROWAVE OF MINE LET ME TELL YOU

OBVIOUSLY Chazz is Rapunzel he's literally always the princess in these things who's surprised? It's more fun and it always just works out best that way plot wise. Only I am thinking about foregoing the hair maybe, I mean her hair doesn't actually really matter in Barbie Rapunzel apart from her dream where Stefan finds her and we have the whole "let down your hair" reference, and Gothel cuts it and uses her hair to trick Stefan at the ball but otherwise her hair doesn't matter or is really called attention to. BUT I'm still in the early planning stages so I mean maybe I'll change my mind 🤷‍♀️

But my initial thought is that we begin similar to OUAD, Slade and Jagger would be the villains obviously. Exiled from the kingdom for being just bad people, they resent their parents and when they have Chazz so they'll still have an heir, they kidnap Chazz as a baby and spirit him away deep into the darkest forest of the neighboring kingdom far of their parents' reach out of their hatred and resentment. But in the Barbie fashion, they frame the king of their neighboring kingdom, Atticus and Alexis's father, for the crime with a desire to sow seeds of discord so that both kingdoms will destroy each other. Then they can swoop in and rule all the lands themselves.

I also had an idea to try and differentiate from OUAD, they had already grown resentful and spiteful of their parents and were sowing seeds of discord between the kingdoms, and eventually at some point they like, fake their deaths so they could work behind the scenes and to cover their tracks. So then when their parents have Chazz to reinstate the line of succession and they kidnap him, it's even easier to frame the crime on Atticus and Alexis's father and keep him hidden because who would suspect them? They're dead as far as everyone knows, they can very easily hide and keep him and his whereabouts concealed. And obviously since Gothel is a mage in Barbie, at the very least Slade will have magic powers because I mean come on. He's the main bad guy here.

But regardless of how we get to that point, they raise Chazz and keep him under lock and key in their secluded home hidden and concealed deep in the forest where no one would dare to look, forbidding him from ever leaving the old manor under the guise of keeping him safe from the outside world, not that they haven't still been abusing him all this time themselves also Barbie Rapunzel really is Rapunzel and Cinderella at the same time in a way and that makes so much sense for them 🙄 when really they're just waiting for the two kingdoms to destroy each other. That way they can swoop in and rebuild their own kingdom on the ashes of the old one with no one to stop them, and Chazz will stay their prisoner. But unlike like every version of Gothel they cover their tracks by telling him that their parents died when he was a baby.

Which brings me to a question I have yet to figure out, the equivalent of the hairbrush/paintbrush 🤔

And the Ojama spirits are there to bug him with their love. Obviously.

B U T Chazz has been trying to find a way to escape from his brothers for a while because shocker, they've been abusing him and um, they're terrible. But he knows if he simply tried to run away they would find him and he'd never be able to get away, so he's gotta be careful. And one day he stumbles upon a 🎵 secret tunnel 🎵 in the basement and finds himself on the outskirts of the kingdom. But not without making the Ojamas stay back to watch for his brothers. He wanders into the village and after exploring around, he runs into Alexis. I'm not exactly sure what happens but they run into some sort of trouble and while trying to help Alexis, though he quickly discovers she's more than capable of handling herself just fine, Atticus swoops in having come upon the scene and saves Chazz leaving him all 😳😍😳

Alexis leaves eventually leaving Chazz and Atty alone to talk. But they don't get far enough into the conversation to make introductions before Atticus is drawn away momentarily but not before telling Chazz to wait for him there. Which he intends to, but the chime of evening bells and a sinking feeling in his stomach tells him he needs to get back before his brothers discover he's gone. If he wants to escape for real he'll need to be more careful than this. As much as he hates it, he needs to go back for now. He'll just have to hide the tunnel again and try again another time when his brothers wouldn't suspect a thing.

Chazz hurries back before Atticus can return, creating a mystery for the prince to solve.

Honestly I imagine when he gets back through the tunnel it's like that movie moment where the kid sneaks back in like heh got away with it, then the lights turn on and the parent figure is in the chair in their pjs all mad like "where were you? 🤨" so like when he gets back through the tunnel Slade and Jagger are just waiting for him there in the basement all 😠 I think that would be funny but also yikes..... and they take him back to his room where they start like interrogating him to find out what happened while he was gone.

I also literally just now as I'm writing this out thought another things that could happen and like, how they find out, is that Jagger had gone into town and sees him with Atticus, but maybe doesn't get a good enough look to know exactly who Chazz is with or something so we can keep the mystery of who his mysterious suitor is, and Ojama Yellow shows up to tell Chazz that they found out Jagger went to town and he has to come back before he's found, but at this point Atty has left so Jagger swoops in and forces Chazz back to the manor, dropping him at Slade's feet with the whole "look who I found wandering around the village this afternoon" bullshit and that would be when they march him back to his room and start interrogating him.

So like that's another way that could go? And obviously they wanna know who the fuck he was with, but obviously Chazz doesn't know who Atticus was and they don't exactly believe he's telling the truth because I mean, in their minds, why would he tell them the truth? So in their frustration and to keep Chazz from trying to escape again, then we get the fun part where Gothel turns Rapunzel's room into the tower muahahahaha so Slade does that, intending to leave Chazz there until he tells them who the boy he met was.

And this is where I need to figure out the equivalent of the magic paintbrush cuz this is where that comes into play after the like stardust turns the hairbrush into the paintbrush.

And that's kinda all I have actually for real thought out atm I mean I did only just start actually planning like last night after all aksksk but I literally just watched the movie again yesterday too and like everything's falling into place fairly easily 😌 but I've still got like the whole last like half to plan out and some questions to answer and decisions to make about what I have so far but GAH THIS IS GOOD SHIT !!

ALSO AS WE ALL WELL KNOW, There are dragons in Barbie as Rapunzel. So I was thinking I could find a way to sneak Light and Darkness Dragon in there at some point, maybe towards the end like LDD gets summoned somehow and like rescues Chazz from the tower and gets him to the kingdom in time to thwart Slade and Jagger??? We'll see what I can figure out I guess aksksk

Miko - gala dress version

So, this is the effect of me not being able to dress up for new year's eve 😂 no seriously, I started messing around and indulging in the stupidest things while recuperating from the flu, instead of actually finishing the WIP's I have. But I regret nothing  💁‍♀️ This painting-like thing is also still rough, but I want to get faster, and work out the right things, instead of just detailing everything. (sorry, I have zero style consistency 😢 ) So I'm quite nervous about it ehehehe...

And yes, as every good (*ahem*) fanfic goes, there's a ballroom scene and A DRESS. A dress and a scenario that have been laying around since 2020 (check under the break to see the first crappy sketch design I made of it) so I decided to go back to my roots and sketch a stupid little scene (I'm still rusty - ignore anatomy). It's not even special, but I like to see the ruthless world destroying weasel villain BLUSH. That's it. Make him BLUSH.

Oh, yeah, that other FO individual is the sergeant who is Kiffar but doesn't know it - and also partner in crime of Miko during arc 4 and 5. He's been around in my stories on IG in the past, in his FO trooper attire. As every lower FO officer, he only has a number, but Miko will give him a name - I just don't know which one yet, so suggestions are always welcome! Some background: sarge wanted to usurp power in the FO base bc reasons, overthrow Hux, but he befriended Miko while not knowing she's a double spy. Or triple spy, it's kind of complicated at this point. Fact is that she's actually a Utafour, so pulling off that look was the easy part of the mission. The mission itself... well, it involves a Falleen, a jealous ginger, a dancehall, a hotel room, (aggressive) negotiations and fire. Business as usual 🤷‍♀️

Okay, so, I won't go into too much detail about who's who, but I will give some details regarding the world. The concept kind of surrounds the question: what if vampires have always existed and what would that look like in a modern-day society that is dictated by bureaucracy?

We have vampires and vampire hunters. There are also normal police officers, and different departments within the government that are put in place to basically... kill... vampires off. There are "normal" vampires, vampires that have been "turned" in the "wrong way"*, and there's even an underground drug network (including clubs where humans go to get their freak on with vampires). We also can't forget the corruption and of course, the murder mystery storyline. *I have planned out multiple ways for a human to be turned into a vampire

It's a pretty big story that I don't even have a full first chapter for lol. But I'm pretty excited to see where it'll go. It's a little bit of Romeo & Juliet meets Pride and Prejudice meets Beyond Evil meets vampiric lore. From my limited research, it would seem that Korea doesn't have its own vampire lore, so they tend to take inspiration from Western and Chinese cultures. I am also going to be doing this, as I think it'll be super fun to take inspiration from multiple cultures (and considering Joo Won canonically spent time in England, it would make sense to throw in a mix of European lore in there) It's rated E cause of violence, lots of blood, and... of course, sexual content 🤷‍♀️

At the moment, it's mainly just vibes, but here's a snippet from the opening scene.

The orchestra is bastardising Doga’s Gramophone. The main cause and culprit of this crime is the pianist, who’s torturing his keys a beat out of time, causing the whole piece to slug and be weighed down by his lack of urgency in tempo and finesse. Although, that might be the bourbon talking. Han Joo Won has been standing on the sidelines, listening to the god-awful mockery of classical music for what might be considered a rude amount of time. The ballroom - if one could call it that - did not possess the acoustics for such a piece, resulting in the already unflattering debacle sounding tinny and out of tune. 

Under the finery of his designer suit jacket, Joo Won readjusts his perfectly tailored, perfectly pressed, perfectly starched, perfectly perfect embroidered waistcoat. He straightens his back with a slight ache in his lower spine, the heels of his Italian leather dress shoes are doing nothing for him other than causing his thighs to ache and his toes to throb. He’s been standing for far too long for such an event, which was a strategic decision he made almost forty minutes ago. He’s cleverly hidden from view behind a pompous flower arrangement; out of sight and hopefully away from his father’s ever-watching, ever-critical, ever-loathing gaze. 

In this quiet corner by himself, with the bar still in sight, he can keep an eye on the table where his father currently resides. Including the exit, the musicians, and the majority of guests. A rather smart move on his behalf - if he did say so himself - as anyone could slip past security in this private event. Anyone could harm them. 

There was another reason for his self-imposed isolation: he did not want to spend another second sharing a table with some of the most unintelligent and uninteresting people he’s ever been forced to be acquainted with. Han Joo Won is a man nearing his thirties and has met every kind of person there is to know in the circles he was born into. The list is predictable and finite, tedious and banal, ostentatious and pretentious, and Joo Won knows how to handle each and every one of them. He’s been trained his whole life for evenings such as this. -

i mean, i don't know what's going to happen with this episode but i will say that i don't think this season is the season i'd want my ships to get together in.

yeah, you'd think someone would have noticed that in high school, it was only ever used as drama for bughead (and varchie to a lesser extent) by now.

i think the focus on the childhood thing is weird af. not gonna lie, it comes off like a cop out for the show who refuses to give them content as adults. we know they said that they (b/j/a) were the three musketeers but they never relied on any of that for bughead.🤷‍♀️

the only emotional stakes that whole plot had (and was meant to have going by the fact that they didn't pick each other) was for bughead and varchie. the people who declared their love over that whole thing? was not betty and archie to each other.

they made it clear betty was ignoring things by sleeping with people in s5. every time she could have been vulnerable she chose not to. and when archie could have helped, he was shown talking about how it wasn't good. and segued into talking about veronica.

same tbh. do we really think that jughead wasn't emotionally shown at a certain point to get us to the book signing and aftermath?

it feels like convenience to me.

it feels like the show turned them all into their parents in a way (pls stop dressing betty like alice, it's a crime, i will be suing) and the ships they're in almost make sense for that. which should be a red flag to anyone but hey, there are still people who tell me consistently that the genre switch in the 6th season is totally normal and logical for a show who has always explained the weird away. so. there's that.

Crimson Peak Review

1. Bobby! I love Jim Beaver. Bobby don't break your daughter's heart. I know you love her but just tell her the truth.

The warm vibrancy and colors that are so present in the beginning of the movie and then you transition to Crimson Peak where it’s nothing but cold and dark and hauntingly beautiful.

I ove Alan McMichael. Charlie Hunnam is just gorgeous.

I think there should have been more british accents in this movie by the British actors who played Edith and Alan. Rewatched the movie and no I’m like it adds to Edith and her naivety by being so invested in Thomas who is just so mysterious but so worldly to her.

Overall the story was beautiful. Edith, Alan, Thomas and Lucille were all brilliant characters. I love the COUSTMES in this movie. They're fucking gorgeous. Ugh why can't we dress like that everyday.

Definitely will rewatch it.
