I’ve been having a rough few days, but I’ve been feeling a bit better so I decided to make some lil thingies for some spiraling upwards kitties :3

Back to Star Wars in the Old Republic era, with Havoc Squad and their Jedi allies planning their next operation against the Sith. 

On the left side are Zadina and Zerel, my OCs, while on the right are SWTOR canon characters Fideltin Rusk, Aric Jorgan and Kira Carsen.

Zadina Draz is a cathar and commands the Republic's elite Havoc Squad. She is currently enjoying the new resources that have been generously flung her way after her success at the Battle of Corellia. It was not without casualties though and highlighted the long-standing problem of how normal soldiers are supposed to deal with Force-using Sith. Excessive automatic firepower, explosives and improved shielding can tip the scales and she's collected a fair amount of lightsabers from overconfident Sith Apprentices. However, veteran Sith warriors with their own special equipment are still deadly and can derail an entire mission in a moment.

Fortunately, Havoc Squad have since enlisted the services of Jedi Sentinel, Zerel Nes'aro who joined them to offer Force support and tactical advice. After resolving the Children of the Emperor impostor crisis within the Jedi's ranks, going back to normal combat duties is a nice and simple job, or so he claims.

Zerel had previously transferred his rather stubborn but efficient sergeant, Rusk to Havoc Squad to best make use of his heavy weapon skills so this was a nice little reunion. Also tagging along is his former apprentice, Kira Carsen because 2 Jedi are better than 1 (rumours that they are actually a couple are definitely not true. Yes.)

And finally there is the fellow cathar, Aric who is still a rather grumpy cat from being demoted due to failing to stop members of the previous Havoc Squad from turning traitor. But Zadina, knowing that events were beyond his control, pulled some strings and now he serves as the squad's second in command and hopes to gradually salvage his reputation.

I think Spiderbite specifically does not want to go back to the old title. I think that devotion to wearing his mistake actually makes his clanmates very uncomfortable-- especially Toadstep, whose near death was the reason Spider was branded with it.

But, it's usually more about what the leader says than the branded's desires. After all, it's a Dishonor Title, it's not supposed to be an honor. There are situations where a particularly intense warrior (Adderfang) wants to 'hide' their real name away for a while so it may recover, but I imagine it's a bit rare.

If there WAS a situation where a cat refused to give up their old name, either in defiance of a Dishonor Title or in not wanting to lose it, it would first go to the leader to decide what to do. If they say no, their word is law, and any cats who defy that are in violation of the Leader's Rights.

Before the invention of this law in the Ripple Era, it wasn't quite something you'd "argue." A Name Ceremony invokes StarClan itself. Your old name is no longer your true name in the eyes of the Stars themselves... unless you're suggesting that the leader is not acting on the will of StarClan.

So, the short answer is that like most things, it falls back to the cats who constitute a Clan, what their copy of the Code looks like, and context around how the Dishonor Title was acquired.

I think my most controversial Warrior Cats opinion is that I actually really like the Cinderpelt-heart reincarnation plot. Or at least I would really love a version of it without all teh ableist implications. StarClan realizing that teh “no kits for medicine cats” rule is hurtful, and also that disabled cats are often pushed into roles they don’t want and aren’t suited for, and they reincarnate Cinderpelt for those reasons, not because a disabled life isn’t a full one. Cinderheart feeling pressure from teh clan, maybe even her family or even Lionblaze, to be a medicine cat when she finds out. It has potential idk.

I liked it at first, because... Admittedly, I read Po3 before I read TNP and before I finished TPB.

So Cinderpelt was this mysterious, not quite known character to me. I went and read TNP and thought "hmm. I wish it had been more 'this is happening because your life is going to be cut short now due to the move to the lake and that isn't fair because you were supposed to live a long time so go become your niece, really sorry about the badgers, xoxo PS sorry about your mom slowly starving to death in the forest'"

Instead it hinges on her having had "not a full life", which.... When I went EVEN FURTHER back and finished TPB.... She did. She loved Medicine. It was HER choice. The Erin's forgot, made a weird retcon that has become her entire character: "I loved my teacher and didn't tell him", and had Lionblaze be the... Reward for that?

I liked it, it was just done for a stupid reason. Another one of those "we wrote this plot point to make sure a character does xyz" instead of just... Writing it. Snowkit's death is the most egregious example of these writers pretending they have no control over these fictional cats.

I have some controversial opinions of my own.

The Lake territory is cool but also sucks. We need to either leave the Lake or start redoing things about it. It has no landmarks to hang out at or have what I call 'set pieces' whatsoever, and more importantly no threats (thunderpaths, snake rocks, gorge, the tree with a huge Owl, Carrionplace) and I'm pretty sure the writers feel this way too since we leave the Lake once an arc. I wouldn't mind moving territories again, to a more dangerous but still natural place.

Breezepelt should be a permanent Queen. I know it would mean seeing less of him (which I dislike) but him being a gentle parent and helping others raise their kits would be a PERFECT wrap up to his arc. As much as I desperately want Breezestar I think he would fit more as a perma-queen.

A trip to the distant future or past would be both good and bad. A whole new cast would be kinda cool but let's be honest, these writers suck. What is needed is a whole new writing team of people who actually LIKE the books.

I never really liked canon!Riverstar that much, we really didn't know anything about him because DOTC is less Dawn of The Clans and more "pwease like our power trip fantasy oc who knocks up a girl his son's age 🥺". I genuinely cannot remember anything River Ripple even does. He just... Isn't there. Maybe more prevalent in the last 2 books but I never got past the first 3 chapters of book 5 and never opened book 6 aside from looking at its last scene and rolling my eyes. Petal's death was where I drew the line, the narrative bending over backwards to make Clear Sky a poor sad baby crossed it.

• I've come around thanks to Bonefall but I genuinely hated Star Flower as a kid. The way she was described was uncomfortable, annoying and made it feel like the writers were trying to force you to think she's this gorgeous, perfect cat, it made her boring, bland, and anything with her in it a slog to get through because of the way Thunder spoke about her, going on and on about her beautiful she was, getting worse when Moth Flight's Vision described her with purple eyes to go with her star-shaped pupils... Also, I was really attached to Petal, who died suddenly when Star Flower entered the picture, and I was on the assumption Clear Sky and Petal were going to get together, while I didn't like Clear Sky, I just wanted my favorite to stay alive unlike every other female character. Starf also suddenly becoming a helples damsel in distress added to the annoyance so badly that I actually never finished DOTC, and it made me take a break from the series altogether. I really wanted her to be playing the long game. A sincere thank you to Bonefall for helping me reread who this character is, and while the way our 'Camera' describes hee is still annoying, I can at least look past that and see the roots of this character.

I love Leafpool, and Hollyleaf. Met a lot of Leafpool fans who seem to think Hollyleaf is this monster when she very much reads as someone who cannot handle their religious and emotional abuse based trauma and lashed out at the wrong person. What she did to Leafpool was awful but she was basically an irrational teenager. Just like apprentice does not always equal child, warrior does not always equal "grown ass adult who should get over it". Her own existence went against every single thing she believed in and was told by her own mentor to never ever question.

As sweet as the scene with Dandelionkit and Juniperkit in Starclan was... There was really 0 point in giving Squilf 2 dead kids, other than "the writers hate her". The only thing I can see a point for it is for a long-shot setup to Squirrelstar for some lives seeing as you just know they absolutely forgot about Squish's friends.

• I think Ivypool has somewhat of a right to be upset with Dovewing. HEAR ME OUT. She is allowed to be upset, NOT take it out on Dovewing. She also needs to learn that she helped drive her sister out, but the writers are allergic to that kind of thing in favour of "make character a background conservative. If female = mom. If mom = soft until politcal debate scenario." She is allowed to be sad and upset that her only sister is gone, she just needs to acknowledge she messed up, as well as lots of Thunderclan cats messed up.

It's time to kill Brightheart, Brackenfur, Thornclaw and Cloudtail. Enough is enough, start retiring cats who were full warriors when TNP started. Tawnypelt should be in the Elders den and Oakfur should be rotting in hell for what he let happen to Berrynose. On that same note, I hope Russetfur went on trial for that and her attempt on Firestar's life. I like her but good GOD, that was egregious, and looks even more pathetic when Yellowfang's Secret reveals she herself wasn't Clanborn.

Tigerheart's Shadow is a good book (aside from that one 'territory' bit, you know the one) and this series could go FAR if they embraced the mysterious mystical elements they set up, people are far too harsh on the experimental things.

Moonkitti makes good points sometimes but I need younger fans to stop taking everything she says as gospel and start thinking for themselves; case in point the recent Mapleshade drama that REEKS of "if I was Orpheus I wouldn't have turned around". The writers call the Moonstone the Moonpool every time we revisit the forest, do you really think they remembered The Bridge? Did YOU remember the bridge or did Moonkitti point it out? Also, with how cosmically doomed from the start the story was, the water probably would have overtaken the bridge and STILL swept them away. For every one good take Moonkitti has they seem to have more than a few bad ones.

My silly one. FERNSONG SHOULD HAVE BEEN NAMED AFTER HONEYFERN AND BEEN A HONEYFERN CLONE APPEARANCE WISE. No problem with him being named for Ferncloud but could they PLEASE acknowledge that Cinderheart is Honeyfern's sister too? Poppyfrost named her baby boy after Molekit and Lilyheart named her daughter Honeykit despite never having met Honeyfern, and those don't feel like coincidences.

I dislike the Tribe as its concept, but I like some of the characters that came from it, know what I mean? I like OG Stoneteller (though I always pictured him very differently. I saw him as gray tabby with white paws!) I think he is an interesting character, and Outcast was a huge letdown with having him be wrong. It would be a nice change in story if the Clan cats had tried to push their way, only for it to NOT work, for there to be a different way to do things, or a trick the Tribe used in the past that they "could give another crack at", and for the Clan cats to learn that their way of life is not a golden standard. Could you imagine Hollypaw learning this? I also really like Brook. I dismantled her and I know she is a play on the stupid "Indian princess" trope. I love how sweet she is, though I hate how it was painted against the Tribe. I plan to keep that wisdom and kindness, while also making The Tribes just as good a place to live.

I don't think Tawnystar would've been a good idea, as good as a name like that sounds. She, like Bramble, is too old, and the writers can't stand killing off Arc 2 characters in favour of killing off Arc 3 and 4, we would have been stuck with her and the writing for leaders atm SUCKS. Tawnypelt also just... Isn't that great. While I like her, I don't think she would be a good leader. Same goes for Mothstar, though I feel like they could have it done better if they do have it happen by making her not want the 9 lives. After the absolute Christian slog ASC has been about "non believers" it would be cool to see her prove that wrong and put this shitty arc's hinge point in the ground once and for all.

I'm tired of Med Cat protags. We've had one since TNP barring Dawn of The Clans when arguably it would have been the most beneficial from Pebble Heart or Dappled Pelt. Leafpool was cool because she was the first, Jayfeather was kinda cool still because of blindness and being part of the Prophecy, and while his POV in OOTS was a necessary evil, we did not need Alderheart. There is no reason to have Alderheart be the POV when Sparkpelt has the objectively more interesting setup and Alderheart's "anxiety" works better when we can't see through his eyes, as the authors don't know what actual anxiety is. Shadowsight and Frostpaw are alright, through Frostpaw's pov suffers around Nightheart and she does suffer from Camera POV Syndrome at times... Not helped by her being a Female Warriors Character with all the lovely things that come with it. Shadowsight was cool until the writers completely fumbled the bag and made him rude, argumentative, and dropped his epilepsy for no reason. All this is NOT helped by the new retcon that you're just "born different" with some kind of inherit special connection to Starclan, like it wasn't some kind of learned thing, hence Cinderpelt struggling with it as a lot of the time she was on her own!

Let Daisy retire and let Sorrelstripe take over the nursery. These new characters are in desperate need of personality, let Sorrelstripe be a feisty, confident midwife who won't let Queens be bullied into things.

Day 1: Heterochromia I’ve come to the revaluation that my sona is already cringe as hell considering not only can his entire body change color but he also has differently colored eyes as a staple of his design. They’re usually yellow and blue but this time I color picked the blue from the trans flag and the mint from the Vincian flag for this color palette, it turned out really pretty :)

Day 2: Self Insert Now she isn’t my self insert anymore, but back in the day when I was at “peak cringe” she definitely was. This is my warriors OC Icypelt and I have a post going over part of her story on my profile somewhere. She’s been through a lot and I think her modern design is very pretty :)

Day 3: Unnecessarily complex fit/design Spider scene is kinda infamous in my brain for having wayyy too much detail but I love them and I think this might be my favorite one out of this batch, super cute, the pose is really cute and the colors are nice and fits her really well :D

Headcanons about our beloved Vampire King Marshall Lee?

Marshall Lee headcanons then:

1- His backstory is also slightly different from Marceline's. I really like the idea of him being raised in the Nightosphere with his mom, only visiting Ooo once in a while, and then permanently moving there for a freer life. I got that concept from the How To Warrior book! Baby Marshall was such a menace, I love him.

2- AU stuff but he and Fionna are roommates! The treehouse belongs to him, similar to how Marceline used to own it in Adventure Time, except he actually keeps it and lives there with Fionna and Cake. He moved his stuff to an attic that he was supposed to turn into a studio and made it his bedroom-house of sorts, he still comes out to have meals together and hangout. Schwabelle is also there, stealing Fionna's lunch every other day.

3- Speaking of Schwabelle, Marshall Lee adopted her as a kitten, and he was also the one who got her reanimated when she first passed away. He's unhealthily attached to that cat and WILL throw hands for her. Needless to say that he's a cat person.

4- He's Demisexual. I actually posted that on Twitter a while ago but not here uhhhh sorry then, he's one of us aces 🫶

5- He can't eat normal food because of his vampirism, it makes him feel nauseous and throw up. Normally he doesn't give a fuck, or he fills his food with red dye, he can still taste his meals even just by sucking out the color. He also drinks blood from time to time, because only drinking the red off things doesn't give him enough nutrients and it messes with his powers.

6- He's got a big sweet tooth. His favorite flavor is strawberry, and he also likes to drink maple syrup.

7- He often plays as a solo musician but I like to think that he's also in a band with a couple friends (said friends being ocs of mine but shhhh).

8- He can purr when he shapeshifts to his bat form (both small and huge), and he tends to get more cuddly as a bat. He curls into a ball like a cat does.

9- He hates getting sick, just the fact that he's still able to get sick even though he has healing powers pisses him off enough, but he also hates doctors and taking medicine. He spends like 2-3 days dying until he heals, or until someone drags him to a doctor.

10- He didn't inherit many demonic abilities from his mother, other than her soul sucking, but one that he did inherit is that he's able to move his body in a strange way, like Hunson does. He likes to scare people by rapidly turning his head back in 180°, which makes a nasty crack sound. Yes, he already pranked people by pretending to be dead with this amazing talent.

11- He watches a lot of vampire movies, he can go from tragic romances to the Rated-R ones. It's a personal interest of his that he doesn't share with anyone.

12- He can't get piercings or tattoos because of his healing powers, so he resorts to fake ones. If he could get a real piercing though, he'd get a tongue one.

13- He doesn't have a reflection in mirrors, so to be able to cut his hair and put on some dramatic makeup for concerts, he either trusts the process or gets a friend to help him. In addition to that, he often practices his makeup skills on Fionna's face, because she's closer and he likes to mess with her.

I thought of another one of tmnt ocs that i wanted to show you. This one is a vigilante that moved from Japan to New York. His name is asheru of Asher for short, but the people in New York call him Mutant robin Hood. This is what he looks like

And this is his backstory.

When Asheru was young, he lived who thought were his parents, but they treated him badly. They would chain him down in the basement and refuse to feed most of the time. they were one of the most loaded family in Japan, and yet they wouldn't did not feed the five-year-old boy they had locked in the basement. one night, Asher broke out and ran away before getting kidnapped by the kraang who mutated him into a black jaguar before escaping. After he escaped, his parents found him. That's when things went downhill quickly. Asher's parents feeling disgusted just looking at his 'new look' sold him off to scientists. Asher parents were actually criminals who got rich by stealing from people. They worked for criminal organization of the influence. When their master (Saiko) found out that they sold off Asher to scientists, their master executed the crooks who were supposed to be getting Asher ready to serve their master. After that, Saiko sent one of his men to find him. an archer and thief named Isamu was sent by the influence to retrieve a mutant. Isamu wasn't willing to be part of the influence. when his wife, Tamami, was with child, when she fell ill from a current mission from her job as a bounty hunter. the influence had the connections to get the medicine, but they only give to her if Isamu joined the influence, Isamu had given up life of thievery for Tamami, but he had no choice she needed medicine. Tamami got better and gave birth to a boy. one day, Saiko ordered his men to kill Tamami when Isamu found his wife. He demands to know what they did do to their son. Saiko simply replied, saying it's no longer his concern and threatening that if he ever turned against him, Isamu would join his wife. when Asher was being experimented on, he gained the ability to shape shift and camouflage a thought he doesn't know the full extent of his abilities. when Isamu found the mutant, he saw the shapeshift back to his human form to realize the mutant was sent to retrieve his son, which he had lost so long ago. knowing this Isamu takes Asher goes into hiding over the years Asher is being trained to his abilities by his father Asher stated to read the Alice in wonderland while he was on the run and grows to like the Cheshire cat. Isamu never told Asher that he was his father, believing it would be too much for him. Asher always thought Isamu was familiar, but there Asher just brushed it off has him look like the character from another of his favorite childhood books, Robin Hood. how to shoot an arrow and how to fight like a warrior, but sadly, all good things must come to an end. Saiko's men found them. Before Isamu went off to fight a battle, he knew he wouldn't survive. he gave Asher a pendant that has in the family generations and told to run before Asher saw one of the men kill Isamu. Later, Asher finds out that Isamu is his real father when Asher finds out that Saiko is in New York. Asher travels to New York, learns the language, and swears to get justice for his family.  Asher stars to stealing from corrupted rich and criminals involved with influence and give back to the people because the fact he from rich and give back to the people. Locals started to call him Mutant Robin Hood.

Likes/dislikes headcanon and Erekilya.

She's one of the latest additions to my Maiarin OC list and, as such, she's not very well developed as of now. She's a Maia of Tulkas and a great warrior (hence why I picked Brienne as her faceclaim, I love her so much).

She's one of the few Maiarin women in the army of Valinor and one of the few women who actually know to handle swords and daggers (most Maiar rely on their inner powers to fight their enemies and not everyone is "army material"—Eönwë is a fair commander but he's also very demanding and it is my headcanon that many soldiers were dismissed or "dropped out" of the Army because they couldn't keep up with the Herald's demands. Eönwë does not force anyone to fight for him, but those who do choose to stay know that they have to abide by a code that doesn't complete transgressions. Mistakes are generally not contemplated and lack of discipline is severely punished. Soldiers need to train several hours day (Eönwë oversees the training sessions personally) and they have to watch their diet, how they talk, how they carry themselves...a bunch of stuff.

Erekilya is one of the few people who never ever complained (being a Maia of Tulkas helps, I think. She's more used to war and violence than some of her comrades. Not that she enjoys violence, she is just more familiar with it) and I think one of the things she really enjoys in life is being a part of the Army. She loves the camaraderie and the friendly banter that comes with it, and genuinely loves helping people. Her diet basically consists of ale, mushrooms and mashed potatoes (three things she really likes and has every day as a part of her daily diet). She doesn't have many friends because Maiarin men are wary of her—they kind of fear her, I suppose—and Maiarin women usually avoid her because she's not feminine and graceful enough. She dislikes "bullies" and stuck-up people (like Isilmë, for instance) and she may or may not have beaten someone up. Someone probably tried to steal her plate of mashed potatoes. Why are most of my OCs obsessed with mashed potatoes? Sam, what have you done to me?

Though she cannot sing (she can sing of course, but she's not a great singer by Maiarin standards), she loves dancing. She's wonderfully uncoordinated—her partners at balls and festivals all agree that she was a nightmare and ended up having to use an absurd amount of lotion on their toes—but loves dancing all the same. I think she plays a few instruments too, though no one has ever heard her play. She's very outspoken as well. She hates cheese (don't ask why) and is afraid of bumblebees. She may be a warrior but she intensely dislikes spiders (after the whole Ungoliant thing, it's quite understandable), bees, wasps, bumblebees and centipedes. She actually runs away when she sees them. She likes dogs but she vastly prefers cats. She also enjoys all kinds of tea and something tells me she would love to be invited to Afternoon Tea. She deserves a Hobbit party. She loves tea, cookies and fireworks, so I'd say it works.

I know pmd is definitely your thing, so let’s talk about my pmd ocs! All my heroes and partners are also lgbt! Piebald the eevee is aroace, while Miroku the pikachu is gay. Ever the riolu is nonbinary and bi-ace, with Light being bi and using he/it pronouns in particular. Onto some ocs I have yet to discuss are Mist the Zorua/Snivy who is a trans woman, while Jet the axew is ace and nonbinary. Finally, Silver the fennekin is bigender and pan, while Rosemary the Chikorita is a trans lesbian!(still haven’t finished super yet grr)

Context & Summary for Old Dballz Ocs (I Feel Like Rambling ...)

sept 2021 when I was speed running my first dbz viewing i purchased Dragon Ball Fusions for thr 3DS. I didnt know ANYTHING about ANY TH ING but i KNEW that Goten & Trunks were funny as hell and that they fused so they must be on the game .

On the character creation I threw some elements together until it felt right, I created a power-type Saiyan with golden-pearl skin and fire-kissed hair in the style of Yanucha's long beautiful locks ... with friendly red eyes becasue he was cool AF. I named him Adonis, and I spent my playthrough battling with the fact that male characters could not wear most female outfits, and I put him in the sluttiest / most fashionable fits I could (Nail's shirtless fluffy neck wrap and Gine's skirt).

His own personality came to be, and if he were real I would HATE HIM becasue I cannot STAND catty gemini bitches. But that's why I respect him. Becasue he is viscous and does not need my love. In the gameplay hes obviously a kind-hearted hero but he does that while also being a viscous catty Saiyan bitch. Hes kind in a Saiyan way. He dejects himself from Saiyan culture and aligns himself with Earth, and by Saiyan standards he is a soft little kitty cat, but by Earth standards he is a cutthroat little sphinx. I wanted Shin to fall in love with him it felt like it made a lot of sense narratively ... Shin was so insulted and mesmerized by the Saiyans' power when he learned of it, so it makes beautiful disgusting sense that this proper little gentlemen would fall in sick love with this wild and true "little red Corvette" Saiyan ....... They actually have a lot of cartoonish but intense pink-glittery romance.

Anyway I decided his Saiyan name was TYPHA, which is lifted directly from the scientific name for cattails. Cant remeber if it's all cattails or one specific species. You can eat them when they're little sprouts so they are a vegetable and it counts. And I chose Cattail obviously becasue Adonis is a slutty little catboy!

He was a real one with a steel-hard heart of gold. Gold-toned stainless steel I suppose. Spat on as if valueless but a piece that will stay with you for a long time. He existed in his own culture as a trailblazer TBH and he was okay with that. It's who he was. He didnt need your opinions....

I always said that he would get fake tits but IDK how he could becasue he has no body fat and his muscles are so lean so?? Where would they put the boobs ....

You cant ask him what his pronouns are becasue he doesnt think that that's his motherfucking problem. A lot of people think that thats a kind and appropriate question, but to him you're just proving right off the bat that you have NO backbone. It's not his motherfuciing problem what words YOU use to address him. That's YOUR words, your right, not his. If you're too lily-livered to PICK what language YOU want to use, then you should keep his name out of your goddamn mouth.

To reiterate and clarify, he is a power-type Saiyan. On that game there are three types: power, speed, and ummm I think it was called Technique (that last one is for people who use their noggins). Adonis was a team leader, the tactician; but hes not technique-class, he's power. On that game, a power-class Saiayn is a TANK becasue that combo gives you the lowest speed and highest attack. So he was my team leader, but he would always go last, and he would just finish it. On the outside he is small, and playful, and goofy, and by Saiyan standards an intellectual - but what makes him a SAIYAN WARRIOR is the way that his core is steel-hard conviction. He knows who he is. He never vacillates or falters. Hes a fruity little thing but he commands an army ... he rejects his Saiyan name becasue he wants to write himself.

ANYWAY. I had more ideas for Saiyan ocs so after Adonis/Typha came Bulrush. Bulrush is just another name for cattails. (I had another name that I never used which was Perslane, which is as I recall a salad-type green, but it has "purr" in its name so I thought that it would fit with the cattails. I almsot made Bulrush a twin sister named Perslane to use up the ideas / color coding that I didnt get to use, but she never stuck.)

Bulrush is Adonis's huge cousin. Size-wise, she is to him as Nappa was to Vegeta. Adonis was already red and I wanted her to be red too but TBH I think that she settled into a dark blue ... IT DOESNT MATTER colors dont matter on dragon ball.

On that 3DS game there is a lot of timeline tomfoolery so I didnt stress too much about the details. I said that she used to be a member of the Freeza Force, and then later I decided that actually she was an ex-member of the GINYU force. (Freeza allowed that becasue the Ginyus begged .. they were like "can we keep her?"). She wasnt even as strong as then-Vegeta, but they kept her around for her Great Ape ability, her wild sense of humour, and her minor IT training which was unusual for a Saiyan. (When Captain Ginyu was on his period he liked to watch cat videos on the SpaceTube, and when it wasnt working Bulrush was always there to punch the computer just right to make it start working again.)

They kicked her out becasue she started to fail the poses. And becasue she is just kind of difficult to work with. Shes cripplingly insecure deep inside so when she starts to feel like shes failing or being rejected, she escalates the conflict just so she can leave and justify the whole complication. So that ended.

Through some sort of time hooblah (timelines crossing like on the game, accidental cyrogenetic freezing, I DOMT CARE) she makes her way to Earth seeking out her lone remaining blood relative.

And she hates his candy ass. She poses as really threatening and malicious. When I finally watched the Raditz episodes I was appalled at how i had accidentally made a character exactly like him, looks and behavior and all. So yeah.

But Bulrush doesnt actually give a shit about most things. She adapts roles but she'll drop them if they stop paying out. At first she seemed a real threat to Adonis, and he was genuinely upset or scared, but through his pure heart and the power of teamwork he became somebody who could prove her wrong (and make her proud). And then she just sort of drifted to Capsuoe Corp becqsue where else would she go. She wanted to lounge in the sun and be close to the prince. And the technological environment nurtured her minor interest in computers, it's not a big part of her personality and actions at all but it's a part of her nonetheless.

Though with all the Saiyans dead and the Freeza Forces long since dismantled (so she thinks), she holds no loyalty to Vegeta's royal status. She prefers it to anything else, but with no one forcing her to bow, she is quick to be defiant and just eject herself from a community. In theory a lone wolf.

She wants to swing with Vegeta and Bulma but they obviously dont have her in that way. Bulma likes gal pal time and is very easy to flatter so she lets Bulrush hang. But Vegeta cannot stand this vulgar woman who is loyal to no inner values. To him, she is as bad as they come.

She plays it chill and keeps trying to hit on him and it never works. Over time she gets more desperate and eventually she just functionally has a huge crush on him that is forever unrequited. On some level she does this to herself. She is used to the pain, and has never been good at accepting genuine connection anyway.

She masterfully dissembles when Goten and Trunks show her their strength so they think that she must be really cool. But she's shitting herself over the fusion thing. The SSJ3 thing . She was completely cold before but after unlocking that Fear For Her Life, she starts insisting that they call her "Auntie Bulrush" and she poses as a supporting figure because she doesnt want them to kill her.

Anyway: over time she becomes just completely and perfectly loyal to her cousin. She only ever called him "Typha" which he took as an affront, but eventually it comes to mean less "I refuse to accept your new name and true self" and more "I am your kin I have known you the longest I am your deepest friend i know you like no other. I am the only one who can call you this." Though to be honest she just calls him "Cousin" more often than not. She's always like "Cousin...let's go bowling."

There was this bit I had where he goes in for boob surgery and when he wakes up Bulrush is all bandaged up too and he's like "...what happened to you?" and she says heartfeltly "Where do you think the tits came from cousin?"

She loves him and is loyal to him but it's also kind of in a way that reflects her buried insecurity. She'll be player two, she'll even be player three, she'll play the backseat, she'll be just one of thousands in his army. She doesn't ask to be anything special to him, she just wants to help his cause in any way. She hardcore respects his iron core and the way that he has bit back at her over the years, and that's cool, but it's also speaking to a familiar pattern of rejection to her. TBH. But IDK. She's ride or die.

IDK. Becasue if they were real they would also just pretty much just be like Spongebob and Patrick. BFFs who get up to goofy shit. Typha is just like yassified Spongebob. Spongebob if he were a baddie. Bulrush is just like Patrick Star fr. Dumb and hung.

OK well if you know these guys, Bulrush is a lot like these guys: Captain K'nuckles, Captain Linebeck, Grunkle Stan, and TBH Raditz.

I stopped talking about these guys because I realized just how many characters were in dragon ball, I really ddint need to invent any. EXAMPLE Vegeta Tit Tuesday did what Adonis did but better and more meaningful.

I Stoppe Drawing Them becasue I was getting pissed off. Firsdt of all I was still learning and relearning quirks about the dragon ball artstyle, what was a constraint and what was not. Srcond Of All thr only thing I cared about was warm skin, red accouterments, and hips/tits from hell. I wanted to draw characters who fucked hard and died pretty. My sense of beauty, fashion, and juicy life-force was at this point finding no expression in my actual day-to-day so I needed a lot from music and art. And so Typha was pretty much all that. So I didnt know what to do with Bulrush . It pissed me off so much to draw them next to each other, becasue I didnt know how to make thei skin different colors, but i wanted them to look visually distinct. I experiemted with making Bukrush a colder or darker color but it never vibed. And I got so pissed off about their outfits becasue I'm one of those people who cares a lot about colors . And I cannot help it, I NEED characters to have their own designated color(s). And i wanted red. Even the gloss and fruit of fuschia. But by personalty Typha got no pinker than red, and I can respect that. But Buklrush wasnt pink either. She was red and navy blue. WHY ? I kept trying to move away from that but I coudnt find anything else that felt like her. Maybe purple would work ??? Maybe I could figure it out nowadays. But I wanted only red but i coudlnt have them both be red because i was pissed off when they were and also when they werne't. Navby blue was/is Vegeta to me so I didnt know how to feel about that, since I was intending to draw her standing next to Vegeta too.

I mean i can respect her being both red and navy blue. It's an ODD color combo but nowadays I can accept it just fine. It's eccentric and a blessing. I just didnt want to accept it then becasue i was struggling with making directed choices VS sussing out the natural vibe.

Also Typha wore skirts and I wanted her to too but she always vibed better in just short pants instead . But I've spent two years bringing fashion into my life so im much more cool with letting things be becasue i get my kicks elsehwere so i dont need to try to have it all at once here. It feels better to just let it be <3 She Can Wear The Raditz Underweear there was never anything being lost in that

The thing is COLOR DOSE NOT MATTER ON DRAGON BALL AT AL !!!!! FIRST OF ALL it's a black and white manga., SECOND OF ALL, NO One Cares. Even in the colored animation they dont care at all. They proved that when in DBS they changed Trunks's SIGNIFICANT, UNIQUE, NOTEWORTHY, RECOGNIZABLE lavender hair to ..... Fcuking Blue .

So . Yeah .

The coolest thing about Bulrush was the inspired idea I had to make her eyes Grey. I had never had a characterwith grey eyes before, and I never saw it, so it struck me as really great.

Though i Wonder if i had just subconsiously gotten it from Mr Satn's DBS design .

This pisses me off greatly becasue her eye shape was also like his, becasue I was basing her eyes off of later-Z Yamucha (with what little I knew .. that was all I had.) . And that shape IS the shape of Mr Satans eyes .

I'm just pissed off about that becasue in theory I could bring back Bulrush to pair her with Mr Satan becasue I think that he needs to get Las Vegas marreid to a rough and wild woman . But if they have the same eys that pisses me off . I WANT VISUAL DISTINCION ...

Though honestly I would never draw Mr Satan with grey eyes. His eyes are an intense blue in DBZ, But I would proibbaly color them the same intriguing periwinkle that Videl's eyes are in DBZ (not the bright sky blue that they are in DBS). Becasue I think it's cool when parent and child have the same colors . Becasue colors matter to me . But canon colors also matter to me. And it pisses me off how pink and pale Videl is when her father is very much not. It's cool to think about genetics and anime genetics and to justify that well, he could be mixed race and just by chance passed on his palest alleles. But it still pisses me off becasue it puts me into a position . Either I could color her darker and have the benefit of mollifying both my intellectual nettles and my "I want characters to stand out more from each other color-wise" nettle, but grapple with outright denying canon and having to choose whether to keep her skin cold or make it warmer like her father, OOOORRRR i could just LEAVE IT and DEAL WITH ITand ssssSUCK it UP becasue HWTA DO I KNOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really really like her hair and all of its styles. I really like drawing her hair texture, both when its shown to be straight smooth and when it's drawn more spiky. BUT IT PISSES ME OFF THAT HER DAD IS ROCKING AN AFRO AND SHE HAS NOT EVEN A WAVE TO HER HAIR ????! COME ON .... No amount of anime whimsy can make me feel okay with all of this .... At the end of the day I DO REALLY WANT Shit To Make Sense.

Anyway. So Bulrush pisses me off becasue her colors piss me off and it pisses me off to draw her standing next to any other fucking character. But I think it'd be great for Mr Satan to have someone like that in his life. IDK.

Fall, for sure. The trees are such pretty colors, there is a crisp bite to the air. And everything is reds and browns! Perfect color combination for her

🎁What is something they keep like: a souvenir, a keepsake, or a family heirloom; that means a lot to them? Why is it so important to them?

Hmmm. I think that once all is said and done and she's off doing Her Thing and makes it clear to her family that this is her life now, her dad would gift her with an old quiver of his. It's actually his dad's quiver, and it's fairly simple, but it harkens back to the days of when they were true Wood Elves—likely from back Aeranth at some point in their lineage. He would have given her the bow that goes with it, but the bows she uses are so much better and his girl deserves the best. But at least she can have a piece of them on her little adventures with her, holding the ammo that keeps her safe. And of course this means a lot to her. It's nothing fancy, which goes contrary to her need for pretty things, but the thought there is overwhelming. It's a blessing to go out into the world and live the life she's made for herself, while also a prayer to keep her safe in a way that her family still feels they have failed to do (which of course they are wrong).

🎈If they could travel anywhere, where would they go?

Well, she pretty much does go everywhere now, doesn't she? What with the work she does for Aeranth. But I suppose she wishes she could spend more time on the shores and ocean. She is so familiar with the woods and forests now, but not so much the sea. She'd love to get a taste of it.

🧨If they could screw anyone without any consequences, who would they choose?

Delethil hate fuck let's go. I kid, I kid. (Or do I?) But I honestly don't really know. She remains skittish in my head until further development can be had for her. And she never really met anyone on their travels that she felt that kind of desire for. Not even Cobalt.

🧿Do they have a superstition or belief? Such as "black cats bring bad luck", belief in ghosts, tarot, crystals, meditation, etc.

No one can touch her weapons. Only those she trusts most can handle them, and even then it makes her twitchy. This is definitely stemming from a fear of outsiders to her clan, on top of the idea that it leaves too much of an opportunity for sabotoge—even unintentional damage! But she fully believes that she will die or get seriously hurt if someone else handles her weapons. It'd need to go through rigorous tests first before she used them in battle after that. And even then she'd still be leery.

🦝What do they smell like?

Filed under: things I never consider when creating characters. But I imagine she smells kind of earthy. Fresh cut grass. Likely stemming from the grass and dirt stains on her armor after sparring.

🎀Do they have something they collect? {Stamps, rocks, stickers, etc}

Back home she definitely collects little trinkets from successful skirmishes. An arrowhead. A dagger. A broken blade. Things that remind her that she survived and is still here. She's a much more simple lady than Vaela. Pretty things don't tempt her.

🍇What is their sexuality? And what is their "type"?

She's always felt more fluid to me. Pan or bi. Definitely demi-sexual, though. She does not trust anyone to be intimate with her that she does not trust implicitly. She is a warrior and is keenly aware of how vulnerable sex makes a person. There is no desire where there isn't absolute trust for her.

🐁Do they find a creature cute, that normal people don't? Such as spiders, rats, snakes, sharks, etc?

She is a Star Wars lady, and a Mandalorian besides. There have undoubtedly been strange creatures she's come across that most would have found repulsive that she cooed over. Thinking of strills at the moment. It is absolutely not uncommon for Mandos to look at a disgusting creature and go "Oh! A baby!"

🦴Have they ever broken a bone or had any sort of major injuries before? If so, what was their ailment?

OH, MANY. MANY AILMENTS AND INJURIES. Her lekku are scarred to hell, which means those injuries were painful and near debilitating. Lekku are extremely sensitive and major damage to them can even mean death. But not my girl. She's built different. Her lekku have definitely endured a good bit of injury, but she's always managed to recover. She's been in countless battles and skirmishes and sparring sessions. She's cracked rips, broken wrists, and been stabbed and slashed. Ayala has so many scars from the life she's lived as a Mandalorian, but none in particular really stand out. The physical injuries are easy, if you ask her. It's the injuries she bears in her soul that really weigh her down the most.

🍷What is their drink of choice? Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic?

Ugh. Star Wars drinks. Anything with a kick. She isn't picky. Sometimes you need a stiff drink to knock you on your ass after a particularly rough day in the field or on the hunt. When she needs to stay sharp, however, she drinks the strongest caf she can get her hands on. The squad yells at her that she needs to drink more water. But what good is that gonna do? Caf has water in it. And now she's awake for another 12 hours. What's water gonna do other than make her need to pee? Vys'kydir absolutely has put her in a chokehold until she agrees to drain her canteen.

How did you get into the furry fandom?

it's actually a really funny story i love telling! so when i was probably around 12 years old (2011 ish) i heard the word "furry" being used in a derogatory way. i was curious what that word meant and why people were making fun of it, so i looked it up. i was a huge pokemon, sonic, and warrior cats fan, so i suppose to no one's surprise i was FASCINATED. i already had a sonic oc and a deviantart account so this wasn't exactly far out of my realm. i loved it so much, and i started finding myself watching fursuit parade videos from like anthrocon 2010 and 11. i remember asking my mom for a fursuit, and she obviously didn't know what it was and i chickened out when she asked.

in terms of when i started becoming active in the fandom though, i was on omegle in 2014 sorta just trolling weird guys but i had the furry tag on as well and i spoke to this guy on there named kiba, who encouraged me to get more into the fandom and join furaffinity and twitter, which he described as good places for my art. incidentally this is also when the username arthallea started, as it was what i picked for those profiles! but my username origin is a separate story. in any matter, it's been a consistent ever since then!
