katsuki's who's love language is physical touch but you're pregnant so it's ten times better worse.

katsuki who always had his hand on you even before you got pregnant, always touching you in some way, he just liked feeling that you were there with him.

but, when you tell him you're pregnant? he goes crazy. now you can't even think of a time around him when you're not being held in some way.

he holds your stomach, your hand, he asks you to be close as he cooks for you (a special diet to keep the baby and you healthy), and if he can't touch you he wants you in his sights.

you're at work? send him a photo just for fun. going to the store? you can facetime him, it's just patrol. going out with your friends? text him updates frequently.

his days off are now spent lazing around the house, you in his arms the entire day. laying on the couch with you on his lap, watching something on the bed with his head in your lap, playing with your hair as you scroll on your phone.

you just give him so much cuteness agression. he becomes borderline clingy and even though he'd rather die than say it, he literally needs your attention bad.

he'll call you to ask why you're not answering your texts, pull down your phone to make you look at him, poke at you so you get annoyed and finally look over at him.

and when your baby is born? seems the clinging trait is genetic, now you have two losers hanging on to you as you just want to watch your show in peace.

I've been totally fixated on the fact that gwen stays with hobie when she's not on spider-team missions so here's some fun notes

gwen says that hobie lets her crash in his universe- not "house" or "place" or "apartment", because hobie is homeless

she wears his chucks (how is she fitting into his shoes?) which is funny because hobie's original spider-punk costume included him wearing chucks, but in the movie he only wears boots

in the comics, the gwen stacy of earth-138 was, in hobie's words, "the greatest artist of [their] generation" who died a punk-rock legend, and hobie was/is a big fan of hers. gwen thinks his universe is cool and thinks it's extra cool that she's famous there, so his universe is probably something of a comfort place for her

gwen is apparently in his band (possibly his friend group which he calls the spider-band despite the fact that they're not actually a band and the others are not spideys), though gwen once rejected hobie's proposal of making an album together because his singing voice is awful (still, this was after they saved the world by playing punk rock together)

also, it's interesting to read "coming out as a superhero" as a queer allegory and it works in this situation as it parallels queer kids being kicked out of their homophobic homes and staying with friends in the aftermath

thinking about steve in that first scene in nancys bedroom back in season one. thinking about how goofy and flirty and charming and playful he was being. thinking about him being like that with eddie, and how eddie would react to that version of steve. the whole talking in a silly voice, acting as that stuffed bear, the whole “bad steve :( don’t do that to miss nancy :( “ and “you are beautiful nancy wheeler”.

eddie plays dnd, even more so, he DMs dnd games, he stands up on tables in cafeterias and makes big theatrical scenes to rant about issues he has strong stances on — that man knows how to put on a show, and enjoys to watch one too. see: immediately accepting erica into hellfire as a replacement after seeing her go on one of her tangents, showing off her attitude and how she isn’t afraid to get in your face to get her way. he LOVESS that shit. lives for it. seeks it out. so when steve starts getting like that around him he would just crumble immediately i just know it.
