i imagine that since siffrin's creachur form has something to do with wish craft, it wasn't too far-fetched to say that his eye would be colored too, especially given how the sky kid focused on it. however since this isn't his wish to stay with his family, i thought it would be nice to make it a different color... something representing the universe........ Sky Blue It Is

it helps that i am also obsessed with shades of sky blue AND the line from the fic that the sky kid said that it had "everything" in its eyes

i didn't illustrate it, but i think it would be extra cool if creachur siff's eye color changed as per time of day. just because. he's like the eye color version of that one 'do you love the color of the sky' post

i like to imagine that siffrin still has a strange Light in his eyes even when in his human disguise. can't remember if the fic mentions it or not but he has a sky blue highlight in those eyes now in my design. because i can :3

speaking of human disguise, i like to think that even with his transformation he's still not that subtle. mirabelle picks up immediately that he's weird but also that he's friendly and VERY good at survival, and so isn't too bothered by his... quirks. this might end up being canon to the fic honestly but i just wanted to trot out my two cents regardless while i'm here

i'm hoping i managed to communicate some of that off-putting nature in his face! especially his eyes. they're almost unnaturally gray aside from that strange highlight

i originally wanted to make his eyes even weirder but then i thought that being Too Weird would kind of defeat the point, and the point of this is that siffrin kind of has to pass as a normal human which means no glowing pupils, unfortunately. i can totally Give Him Pupils though. gotta get that subtle horror/ creepiness in :3

he gets glowing pupils / tapetum lucidum in the dark though. or when he's angry (see top left). as a treat

didn't draw his in between state (between human and dragon) but i imagine it looks kinda fucked up ! his horn and ears grow, his tail gets longer, teeth get sharper, his whole face sort of. Distorts. in a distinctly uncanny valley way. the blue highlight starts bleeding into his eyes (and his pupils start transforming from round to slit to star-shaped)

continuing, this in-between form in my head is sorta like the dragonkin soldiers from elden ring, just in terms of 'this is a weird hybrid of human and dragon and it just Doesn't Work'. like human, cool, dragon, cool, in between? fucked

siffrin is INSANELY floofy. even with the fact that he hasn't bathed in ages and his floof is all matted and tangled from lack of care he's still crazy soft. i think his fur also has similar insulating properties to his cloak so he never overheats or gets too cold. always the Perfect Temperature

if i were more confident in my skills (and which way this fic is going to end up going) i would have drawn a big hero 6 style moment where everyone is just lying with their face buried in siffrin's fur, like how everyone lays on warm marshmellow baymax.

i originally meant for siffrin to be more cursed and body-horror-y, and then i was looking at the fic descriptions for him (as of chapter 7, so there may be more detail later that i didn't get to see as of writing this) and was like 'wait... he kind of looks like the dragons from BOTW doesn't he' and then the inherent majesty kind of. just. Happened.

i like the fact that he looks kind of majestic though! i think it's a good representation of siffrin's terrible body image issues in this fic where honestly he looks awesome but he just doesn't realize it because, hello negative self-worth

in another life mirabelle rides his dragon form into battle and it is exactly as awesome as it looks like it would be

kind of shoehorned my own oc into here as well but i SWEAR aleph is so absurdly similar to this design it's actually kind of hilarious. if i had a nickel for the number of space dragon designs i've made i'd have two, which isn't a lot but

Question for your • TWST X HSR YUU!CHARACTERS AU •

What do you think the characters' reaction would be if they met a tsum version of themselves (from the tsum event in TWST), and what type of personalities would the tsums have?

Just like in a previous post for one of the Twst events like this, their reactions would be different for each HSR!Yuu character which would be expected due to differing personalities, perspectives and all....

As for what I think what each character's reaction would be to meeting and finding out they have an identical Tsum version of themselves and along with the Tsum's persoanilities:

Yuu!Jing Yuan would be confused at first, but would relatively accept the new revelation with stride since it somewhat makes sense for a another universe to have a constant somewhere, no matter the strange implication it has.

He'd treat the little thing like he'd treat Snowmoon and Mimi, with great care and attentiveness whilst making sure it doesn't wander off to far and make him worry. He's lucky that Tsum's are particularly durable and can take almost any manhandling so long as it doesn't somehow hurt them too much which applies alot to Yuu!Jing Yuan's Tsum counterpart.

As for the Tsum!Jing Yuan, while it still has the typical spoiled cat of a personality, he's surpringly quite adventerous and is always eager to take off from his human's side in any given time to explore to his heart's content and make sure no stone is left unturned which is much to Yuu!Jing Yuan's chagrin.

Yuu!Jing Yuan isn't really that worried for his Tsum's safety, oh no- far from it actually, he's more so worried of what trouble and colletral damage the Tsum itself will cause in it's wake to satiate it's need to venture to the unknown and that comes with it's carelessness of everyone that stand in it's way. That little guy can pack a super mean headbutt that can cause a concusion if one is not careful...

Perhaps the Tsum creature is merely satisfying what his human part cannot; for he was born to Trailblaze into the skies and beyond, but is now unfortunately forced into the role of the General Xianshou, forever to stay stagnant in place for the sake of his people and for the promises he made from the past...but who really knows at this point?

Yuu!Aventurine, at first, would be freaked out- I mean seeing a version of yourself in the size of an overgrown marshmellow with stubby appendages and a dopey look could catch anyone off guard but he would just be reminded of his darling cat cakes and figured he'd seen weirder looking creatures at this point, this is only just a new development he has to adapt too, and adapt he will.

He'd overall treat it with a bit of more respect than most creatures since it certainly has it's own sentience and feelings, and with it looking exactly like him but just smaller? Yeah, he'd be super uncomfortable but would just push on through it and treat it like a little toddler that tails him around like a duckling through the halls...don't worry, he'd relent and let the guy chill on his shoulder when he gets the 'okay' from the Tsum.

As for Tsum!Aventurine, it's somehow both a constant trouble magnet but his own luckiness balances it all out in the end so you can think about alot of funny shenanigans he'd get into either by his own making or unwillingly. It's also Yuu!Aventurine's number one supporter and enabler but will forcefully drag the guy somehow away from danger and bad deals or just weaponize the puppy dog eyes to get his way.

The Tsum sticks to Yuu!Aventurine for the most part, like a clingy little brother, so anyone can always be glad and trust it's there for awhile to monitor him and always has his safety in mind...

But really in the end, it's still little Kakavasha at heart...

Yuu!Argenti would be surprised at the new arrival of a mini plush version of him that could move and has it's own sentience, but would be overall flattered that another universe would model a version of him and his visage onto such a gorgeus and complimentary creature! Such beauty truly cannot be replicated so perfectly and he is so ever grateful to be gifted such a fascinating sight and rare chance!

He'd treat it with such reverance and constant care and words of affirmation that could be borderline over 50 pages long, and the Tsum can't help but preen even more and more at such a devoted display. He'd bring it everywhere with his so that it everyone can bask in it's beautiful glory and also just to spend time with it since this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, y'know!

As for the Tsum!Argenti itself, it mostly has the same personality with his human counterpart but he unfortunately has no way to voice his appreciation of the beauty of the world so he makes up for it by meeting everyone and gifting them either a tiny rose or a bouqet in extreme cases to show it's sincere appreaciation of their existence. It likes to wander around alot but always comes back to it's human when it was done his perusal of this large world that's abit identical to it's old one.

The little guy is still somewhat feral itself so it may or may not be a little trigger happy by headbutting at anyone it sees, either this is how it shows appreciation or a threat is left unnadressed...

Yuu!Dan Heng would also be a little weirded out at first but would just be resigned to the situation since it doesn't seem that dangerous...quite harmless actually, it just looks like him for whatever reason and it's somewhat cute, he supposes. March would've definitely squish the living daylights out of the poor thing due to sheer cute aggresion, he thinks distantly as he observes the Tsum naturally gravitates towards him and looks up to Yuu!Dan Heng whilst also observing him back in kind.

He wouldn't really know how to treat it at first, but he would just let it do it's own thing for awhile since it doesn't seem too much of a handful besides just being super curious of everything.

As for Tsum!Dan Heng, it's typically really reserved and keeps to it itself most of the time so it clings to it's human counterpart more so for the familiarity. The little thing is always eager to learn more and document stuff to itself so it also likes to chill in the library even though I have no clue if Tsum Tsum's have reading comprehension or not-

The tsum can be it's own flavor of protective aswell but it mostly likes to chill for the time being...

Yuu!Silver Wolf would be taken aback at the first appearence of it but would just shrug it off and ask if it wants to be the player 4 in a multiplayer game while it's still here since she needs another member to beat the Shroud brothers at a recent game their all playing together. The answer was a resounding 'YES' if the sparkling eager eyes and wiggling of it's body and stubby arms wasn't an indicator enough...

She'd treat it as both like an overgrown walking plushie she could hug and squeeze to destress and treat it as like a companion to help her do tasks and play games even though it can't really help much but ram into things or button mash the controller that somehow helps sometimes.

As for the Tsum!Silver Wolf, it's an absolute gaming hog that Idia had no choice but to give it's own tiny console with of course, child friendly games cause we don't need some bad influences bleeding out into the Tsum world when they go back-

It would be an ipad kid aswell and total sore loser if it doesn't get it's so the little thing would give out the world's silent temper tantrum ever...also a major couch potato if their bored and too tired to even bother to get any enrichment for itself. It's not really that energetic but it's own type of thing ,to be honest...

Since we’re on the topic of food, do any of the aliens find it weird how humans literally eat poison for fun? (capsaicin makes food spicy, capsaicin was evolved by plants to make them less desirable to eat…. Yes, it’s a form of poison. Also Adrenaline is naturally created by humans but adrenaline would kill a lot of animals even in small doses.)

Also I request you feed Kolivan a marshmallow.

I find it weird myself. People expect me to like spicy food, and I never have. Most aliens hate spice to be honest, it’s more of a human thing to like spicy food, so you are pretty much correct.

I will report Kolivan has refused to eat marshmellows on the countless occasions they were offered. He even ate a ‘smore’ with only graham crackers and a piece of chocolate. I think this is because he usually doesn’t like soft foods.

Something i didnt elaborate much on is c!Dream's species. He is a blob. And blobs are very interesting

Like ive said before, newborn blobs base their appearance on what being they see first that isnt their parent/other blobs. (For example, c!Dream snake)

As for their gender, its based around the first human, or the closest to it, they see. Because of this, blobs, as in their blob forms, do not technicly have a gender.

And ofc with that brings the question: how do blobs reproduce/give birth!?@?@

Now this is quite a subject but ive made up a whole piece of lore about it;)

Blobs dont have gender. Therefore they dont need to breed with eachother to have children. Blobs have asexual reproduction, and even then, theres still something different with that.

Based on what creature they are based around, they can either lay eggs, or 'multiply'.

Atleast once a year, a blob will give birth to a single or occasionaly two children. No matter what enviroment they are in or what form. Younger blobs cannot lay due to the fact their children melt before they take a form. Blobs have the same lifetime as a human does, so blobs can only lay/multiply once they reach about 16 years old. They cant give birth/lay unless they are exclusivly in full blob form, and even if they try to remain in whatevever other form to stop it, their state will not last and they will return to blob form on their own.

The process and symptoms last about a week or more before they make a child.

c!Dream is a blob, and a snake hybrid, therefore he will lay an egg atleast once a year. Yes, he did lay an egg during prison arc. However, the eggs he lays are getting mostly thrown away or even eaten. He ate the egg he had during prison arc cause the Guy has no time for this and he was hungry af. (Blobs taste like marshmellow).

Anyways, this is where the c!Awesamdream child comes in. This is. Why i made this whole thing

Collection Of My Recent Dreams

This is some good story material

An ex-military and a random little girl sink into a different world. The rules of the game are simple. You have 5 minutes to survive or kill the beast. If you die here, you are erased. The veteran survives the inhumanly strong Titan (kinda looks like a marshmellow Chad got melted slightly). The little girl doesn't. Eventually, the veteran finds the "forgotton layer" where survivors are camping out since they believe the trials can't get them. The only true way to escape from the world is to find the layer where the Gods/fighters of this world and sucessfully battle one of the strongest fighters.

2. In an apocalyptic world where hearing-sensitive beings (whose inspiration is a combinaton of Aztec mythology, the destruction of Paris, and christianity) walk the land, you are hiding out in a family's home. Trapped with no memories, all you have is an ipad. The ipad has a collection of various info from a recent DNA test to a GPS tracking your father as he is working in Comoros currently. Unfortunately you get shot in the leg by the father of the household who works in the Cartel (I don't know why). You also have the intelligent mother who is well-aware of how these creatures work and her two daughters in need of constant monitoring. Since you have no memories, you decide to use the name of your profile "Tillamook"( i'm so so sorry). Eventually two other survivors come into the house that act as love interests. You have Wise, a playful happy-go-lucky individual who appears cautious but nice towards you and Sol, an emo bad boy who hates everyone. It's eventually revealed that your name is Jericho and that you aren't a human but instead one of these heavenly monsters.

I got an ending cutscene which has me laughing with Wise on top of a house during sun down.

the young demigod was sitting by the fire. he was roasting away marshmellows, and he was somewhat an exchange camper from the roman one. his mother was the roman wolf goddess called lupa. she was a werewolf, and so her wolf genes passed on to him. half human, half wolf and god ? that sounds a bit too much. caspian has made new friends including someone named will. will seemed like a kind lad. speaking off.. dark eyes look up to see the other boy and he waved. " hi." caspian greets softly.

Would you like more Adar fluff? Yes? Adar is still in Rivendell, stopping over on his way to Lindon to talk treaties with Gil-Galad. Elrond has been too busy all day to spend any time with Adar, despite their tender and passionate time last night. A bunch of people showed up with some plague, and Elrond worked steadily all day and most of the evening saving their lives. Finally they are all safe for now. Elrond collapses into a chair. Adar brings him hot chocolate with marshmellows. Elrond smiles gratefully. He falls asleep in the chair before finishing his chocolate. Adar picks him up and puts him to bed. He tucks him into bed with lots of warm blankets. Adar knows that Elrond, being half-Human, will sleep much longer than Adar will, so Adar fetches a scroll of poetry and snuggles in next to Elrond to read, and to watch him sleep.

And how much force the human jaw can exert on multiple sources of resistance rather than just one and also the way the angle of the mouth affects this at different points and where the limit is. So really we do need at least a few in vivo trials to figure out the marshmellow problem.

Sounds like a job for Alfred and a big bag of marshmallows. It's a sacrifice he's willing to make.

Repostober 14 - Extra Life 2019

The big ridiculous scene that came out of fundraising for Extra Life, which I do along with my office every year. Mostly its peoples' DnD characters (including a few of mine) and a bunch of little sillier additions. This was the second, and final, of these huge scenes lol. I would make a big background and just leave a lot of space for placing characters, which people could pay to slot into. I would start drawing them on our annual stream, but it was obviously too big to finish in a couple-hour time slot, so the work would extend well into December, which was much less fun. Unfortunately none of my other art-related fundraising ideas have been as successful as this, but I just don't have it in me to do it again.

So here’s another funny situation with my friend;

Listening to ‘Girls Weekend’ on my phone, she taps me on the shoulder an she’s got that ‘oooh I found something your gonna loooove’ look on her face. So I lean over and see an Anime picture of a cute guy with cat ears and tail, I shrug cause I’ve seen plenty of them.

“Cute” i replied and was about to turn back to my book when I notice the ‘WTF’. So I ask her whats wrong.

Her reply. “I just showed you a picture of a monster boy an thats ‘all’ you have to say?”

My reply. “That…is not a Monster boyfriend, thats just a boy who put on ears and tail to smooth his way into any girl’s heart. Before you get on my case in saying ‘he is a monster’ let me clarify something. A ‘monster’ is a creature that has little to almost ‘NO’ human characteristics at times, sure they can be bipedal but let me remind you that the monsters of the stories I read are Orc’s who stand close to 9ft tall, muscles that make Hercules look downright scrawny but hearts as warm and as soft as a well toasted marshmellows soaking in hot chocolate, or the lizard man who desires the company of a woman who can look past the ‘beast’ and see the individual he is.”

Friend: You’re not serious are you?!

Me: Yes, I’m very serious. Just because some cute boy puts on demon horns and a tail doesn’t mean he’s a ‘monster’ per-say. Sure you can say their ‘demons/aliens in disguise’ but even then that just boring! Where’s the hellfire hunk who has fangs that could rip metal to pieces yet has hands as soft as silk that cradle you as if you were made of the most fragile of glass! so long storys short i [OOC: These characters have no canon ages, but the one speaking and “Marshmellow” are both female] have this rival whos had it out for me ever since the beginning. well call her “marshmellow” since thats what she looks like

ever since she started going to my old school she’d always been showin’ off just how much better than me she is at everything. everyone always completely ignored me and flocked to her whenever she entered the room, and sometimes she even had the AUDACITY to make her spite extra obvious like that one time where she stole my pickled onion off my lunch tray or psyched me out and made me miss the round-winning kick in some big soccer tournament. or when we were competing in a bread race and she fucmking SNEEZED on the side of the bread that i was supposed to eat. and then was all “kUrOmI~cHaN aReN’t YoU gOnNa EaT tHe BrEaD. Go On KuRoMi EaT tHe MeLo BuGgErS”. or when she got lost on a field trip so i got off the bus to go look for her and when she found her way baxk without my help she LET THEM LEAVE WITHOUT ME

and our rivalry led me to start this cool biker gang of ppl like me and meet my sidekick (17M) who well call eggplant for funsies. and eggplamrs family is DIRT POOR and one day i stole some bread from the market for them and got caught and thrown in the dungeon and had to lie about why to make sure they didn’t get in trouble too (for what? STARVING?? BECAUSE YOU DIDTN FEED THEM???). and nobody i knew visited me because they were too busy SIMPING FOR MARHSMELLOW. and to this day they all owe me 8 birthday parties (except my homies theyre cpol)

but one day i escaped and me and eggplant found a cool magical artifact in the same castles treasure room that could help me cast spells on humans that would bring their dreams to reality in rlly fucked up ways and if they enjoy it i get a black note and if i get a humdred of them i can play this special song that will summon this ancient evil to KICK MARSHMELLOWS ASS

and i went to the human wrld to enact my plan and ended up scoring a room in the most AWESOME house with djffjdjfhshfsh the most handsome most awesome most loving human EVR!!! youve prolly already heard of him since litrrally everyone has. and me and eggplant share a room

and ever since we started this journey hes been my sidekick, doing all the housework, going out adn fetching me stuff when i ask for it, paying the remt for our room, and letting me use him as a punching bag to vent my anger. and we fly around the human world together in search of black notes and he sniffs out humans dreams. and i dont say it often but im glad hes so willing to just sit there and take it all. is what i WOULD say if he he didnt suddenly decided he had enough of it and LEAVE. TO GO STAY WITH MARSHMELLOW (oh yeah marshmellow followed me to the human world and made friends there who shes also staying with. theyre collexting pink notes which dont really do anything but stop me from getting blsck ones)

and he says hes happier living there than he is living wiht ME. and i had to work my ASS off to get him back but its all cool cuz i punished him accordingly later <3

but while i was still tryna get him back i thought of how good our friendship was before then and realized i never treated him like that before coming to the human world and thought for a split second that i might not be being the best friend

prolly gonna keep doing it anyway bc thats just how this cruel world works lol. but i cant get ot outta my head so i might as well ask. aita?

so im like good-bye marshmellow gnome, 7/10 (the on going gag here is that i call finn something incredibly wrong and he is like im a human boy, im a little boy, im just a guy and i call jake some number/out of ten increasing it by .5 after each time and hes like i have a gf, im not interested, stop looking at me naked!!!) i have a wedding to officiate, then i sever the frozen land with byefrost (my blade hewn from the tooth of golb with the handle adorn with a single gem from a crown in a timeline where gunter was a small protomammal who wished that evergreen had actually taught him any magic which allowed him to withstand the ice age and contributed to the evolution of humanity but since the gems were snatched from that universe people still dont evolve with magical elements) sending them afloat in the ocean of ooo, when i get back to the wedding a series of mishaps that are suspiciously pink/red in color allow the princess and all the guests to escape, so we decide spend the rest of the evening having a bronight-in (a bro-in) enjoying the romantic lights, dressed up penguins, bubbling drinks,wedding food
