It is kind of funny how much I've detached myself from appearance directly correlating to gender actually. When I design a character I go. Okay. What would they wear that reflects their personality and surroundings? And I make a character who is a 30 year old divorced man who looks like this:

#He is dressing more femininely than he'd prefer because his whole thing is that he is a closeted transman who is overperforming his assigned #gender for social reasons. BUT even after he starts dressing how he wants it's still the same amount of pink and frills because now he's #doing it because he LIKES it not because he has to. Once he feels more secure in himself.#Like appearance and clothes is important to gender expression no doubt about it but also the world is so beautiful once you go:#Wait I don't have to perform in any particular way if I don't want to. I can do whatever I want forever.#Anyway welcome to my blog where I ask one question: What if a character was repressed? But then gained a support system? And they felt safe #to explore aspects of their identity they'd been ignoring in favor of conforming for safety's sake?

Poor Barbatos. I swear the fandom is always gleefully taunting him with his fear of rats. So much of his fan content is rat related lol.

To be honest with you, I think Barbatos would know you were messing with him. That you purposefully chose a movie about a rat that cooks to make him crazy.

So it depends. If Ratatouille was genuinely like your favorite movie prior to meeting Barb, he would suffer through it for you. I don't think it'd bother him too much considering it's animated and fictional. If he was dealing with actual rats in his actual kitchen, well, that's a different story.

But if you just brought it to movie date night to deliberately get a reaction from him, then you might end up in trouble.

Depending on the type of relationship he has with you, at this point you could end up completely forgetting about movie night altogether. Because if you're being a troublemaker on purpose, he's going to take that as a sign that you need some attention. Things could quickly escalate into sexy punishment territory if you get what I mean.

But if you're not quite there yet with him and he sees that you're just kinda playing a prank on him, he'll probably smile indulgently and tell you that he would love to watch the animated rat movie with you. Then he'll distract you with kisses through the whole thing because who wants to watch rats cooking? Not him.

I am not sure if omnics and humans can actually get married, but I like to think that Ramattra would want to make you his partner «officially». Maybe without the wedding, the papers etc, he would just silently kneel and slip a ring on your finger that he (of course) made himself, just for you. What I love so much about Ramattra is that... I think fairly soon after he acknowledges his feelings for you is he would realize you are everything. He's all or nothing, if you crack that shell you are a part of him and he would know so, so early on that you are reshaping his future just by existing... and as such he will have been thinking about this for so long, debating what he could do that wouldn't endanger you or himself, but something that was... meaningful.

i love that the aizawa we get in canon is already an incredibly inwardly kind/outwardly passive about it older adult figure (if not paternal figure to be honest ALREADY like a lot of the time people say that and it's just some guy who happens to hang around people younger than him but i will acquieisisise on this one) who has a foster daughter he takes care of + one mentee who he imprinted on like the opposite of a duckling situation he was just like i'm taking this kid and teaching him to kill people with his minddddd Plus this crazy weapon i gave him. and then on top of that literally two whole friends who he pretends he hates.

and then everyone was like YEPPPPP you're actually gay married undercover to that guy and the kid you mentor doesn't have parents because he's a minor character so they haven't been invented yet which means he's your son now too and you've got a couple cats as well because what the hell am i right. congratulations ☺️. it's like the only time i've seen a fandom hc situation that actually just expands on the stuff that is already there in the funniest way possible. from shabby teacher to married 10+ years and two kids good for you buddy.
