To Me. Pokespe Steven feels like a character that assumes everything he’s ever “earned” has been handed to him. With no regard for his own achievements or strength. He thinks he does everything by half-measure. Yes he got the regis to the fight, but he died for it. And they ultimately did nothing to stop the fight. Yes he was champion, but only because his friend felt an obligation to his city and ex. Yes he collects rocks. And he technically has rock types. But the other half is steel. It’s always in halves. He can’t commit to one thing or another

i've mentioned it once, but Rainy had already been in a "family" before having met Wally, though through a mistaken number they ended up having a conversation over the phone!

Somehow they became telephone friends, and because of that Wally learned of Rainy's situation. He knocked out two birds with one stone with this information!

Rainy joined in a similar manner Barnaby did! So he doesn't hold any scars from Wally, but he does hold scars from his past "family", so he hides them with bandages, as those scars tend to open sometimes.

Since Rainy had provided Wally all the information to take down the gang he belonged in, he took the spot of being the Boss's Eyes and Ears.

(No one really knows that though, as he's usually seen with Frank! He overseas every deal, just to make sure things run smoothly of course!)

Rainy holds everyone in a high regard, he adores all of them unconditionally! To him, they mean the world to him, as they truly feel like family to him.

He does know how to fight, though admittedly he's not very strong, to balance this out though he is very quick! (his choice of weapon is a pocket knife!)

WANNA GET BREAKFAST?

time skip + gn!reader | fluff (?), mutual pining w no resolution. Lol.

the first time atsumu shows up at your house this week is for a movie marathon. he moves through your home as if it was his own—no hesitation in opening cupboards he knows have bowls and cups, grabbing his go-to blanket from your closet, and taking up more space on the couch than you until you shove his legs away.

he falls asleep during the third movie, head on your shoulder and arm across your lap. when he wakes up, he denies your claims of him snoring and drooling on your shirt.

the second time he shows up is the morning after, 30 minutes after calling to ask if he left his charger in your living room.

you open the door to find him wearing pyjama pants and a shirt you bought him years ago as a birthday gift, hair still messy in a fluffy, you really want to reach out and touch it way. “mornin’.”

“good morning.”

otherwise wordlessly, you offer his charger and he wraps it up to fit nicely in his pocket. he thanks you, and you shift on your feet to lean against the door frame.

a beat passes where neither of you move to say goodbye.

“do you wanna grab breakfast together?” he asks suddenly.

“you want to spend another day with me?”

“woah, i never said that. just breakfast.”

it isn’t just breakfast. though you guessed as much hours ago.

you’re back in your room that evening laughing over things that happened years ago—things you’ve talked about a dozen times but never seem to grow tired of. your head is on his chest, and you can feel his laughter run through you while you reenact a god awful sex ed class that haunts you to this day.

atsumu stays until your eyes droop and you keep yawning, and he figures he should head home to make sure nothing somehow caught fire while he was away.

you manage to walk him to the door, and his hands find their way to pull the blanket tighter around your sleepy figure. “you sure you can make it back to bed?” he teases.

“goodnight, ‘tsumu.”

the third time, again, the morning after, atsumu doesn’t bother calling to check if you're home before you hear the doorbell ring.

“‘tsumu? did you forget something again?”

he doesn’t respond at first. he isn’t even looking at your face when he snickers. “yeah, actually. the sweater someone that isn’t me happens to be wearing.”

looking down, you see the familiar MSBY logo on your chest and feel your face warm. it hits you then that when you reached for your hoodie, it had been in the laundry, not at the corner of your bed.

maybe that's why you fell asleep to the smell of his cologne.

“...shut up.”

you move a little too fast to take it off, if only to cover your face by pulling it over your head. “didn’t say y’had to take it off.”

you freeze, and just like the day before, the both of you stare at each other for a second.

maybe two.

your hands let go of the sweater edge, clenching and unclenching your fists instead. “good. it’s comfy.”

“mhm,” he hums. “it suits you.”

ignoring the compliment, this time you’re the one who asks, “do you wanna get breakfast?”

he shoots you a smile. “sure. you paying?”

the fourth time that atsumu shows up, you’re the one who called.

“are you missing something?”

“what? am i s'pposed to say you?” he answers, voice still groggy.

yes, a part of you thinks. “no, idiot. you left your headphones here.”

“...oh.” there’s shuffling on the other side of the line, and you imagine he’s looking around to confirm as if you weren’t holding the headphones in your hand. “guess i did.”

“i’ll come over then. breakfast after?”

the question makes you smile. “yeah, but i’m too lazy to go out. wanna cook something?”

“fuck no.” atsumu lets out a breathy laugh. “how is cookin' any less work than going to a café?”

“okay, baby, do you want cereal?”

“woah, woah, woah, baby?” he asks loudly. the grin on his face is audible. “i knew y’had a crush on me.”

“that’s not—god, i’m hanging up on you.”

you don’t hang up. not until he finishes laughing and you hear him confirm, “be there in 20.”

it’s the fifth time atsumu comes over that really confuses you.

“why are you here?”

“that's how you greet your best friend?”

“stop it, you know what i mean. i didn’t find anything you left behind, we even double checked before you left,” you point out, brows furrowed.

“yeah, i know. kinda ruined my plan.” he pouts at you.

you blink back at him.

“what plan?”

atsumu, jokingly aghast, softly says your name. he drags out the last syllable in that teasing, endearing way that makes your stomach do a flip. “you think i’d just forget things i use regularly at your house 3 times in one week?”

“i—well,” you start and sputter. it sounds stupid to say now but, “i mean, yeah, i guess?”

a laugh escapes your best friend and even as your face warms in embarrassment, it's a nice sound. he leans in slightly, tilting his head. “and you call me the idiot?”

looking at the grin on his face, witty remarks, statements, any words at all flash in your head, none staying long enough for you to figure out what to say. your eyes flicker between him and anywhere, everywhere else.

cute, atsumu thinks.

maybe if you weren’t looking at the tree behind him, you would have noticed his eyes flicker between yours down to your lips.

they stay there, on your mouth, a little longer than he expects. only by a second, but whatever confidence atsumu has falters as his face starts to go red. clearing his throat, he moves back a breathable distance away.

“nevermind, you'll figure it out. you, uh, still wanna get breakfast?”

OC-TOBER Day 1 : Favourite OC (Diji Oxford)

Why are they your favourite?

Originally when I made him, he was supposed to be the complete opposite of an oc i previously had (and have since abandoned). I was prone to writing the same similar oc over and over, and I'd decided it would be fun to challenge myself.

Since abandoning the character he was based on, Diji has gone through SO MUCH development, and I'm really proud of where he ended up! He's just so relatable, the way he interacts with others is so fascinating to me, and of course, he's fun to put into Situations™️.

I think during the process of developing him I also changed a lot and I started projecting a bunch of stuff I went through onto his psyche, so he's very connected to me even if hes definitely a different guy.

I also got to play around with a bunch of allegories for him! Kudzu being one of the more recent ones. Which, yeah, having a lot of symbols representing a single oc MAY be a bit much, I just. I can't help it. Everything is Diji somehow...

This is a complement!!! Your art style looks like the top end of Morrowind fanart (and I think you should do some Elder Scrolls stuff if it interests you), I love it

I actually have done some TES art in the past! But yeah not much with my current styles and unfortunately no Morrowind stuff :') (the oldest elder scroll game I've played is Oblivion, though didn't complete that either. yet.) But Skyrim is one of my comfort games!

Now taking a little break but not too long ago I started a new playthrough with my beloved first Skyrim character, Ruis (later Daro'Ruis).

And thank you! Though a bunch of elder scrolls fanartists I know have very unique styles but all of them are very funky 🧡

when i first made my ffxiv character i didn’t know that there were lore accurate names you could give your character to make them fit into the world so my wol Galileo Hughjaz is a Miqote Seeker of the Sun who does not fit the lore accurate naming conventions for his race and culture

i did some looking into it though and found that his name would work and be accurate to the world if i put an apostrophe after the G and also if he was transgender which is a big win honestly

so his accurate name would literally just be G’alileo Hughjaz with all that really changes being that the G now denotes his clan lol

Danny!

i will re-introduce him! and in depth this time!

Danny Danger is a sort of "antagonist" in the greaser au! A rival to Wally specifically! (it's all in good fun, i assure you!)

(Danger is not his actual last name, but you didn't hear that from me!)

first things first! Danny was made specifically for this au! so I have no idea how he would be outside of it! So everything i will say is in this context!

(long rambles below!)

Danny runs his own gang of sorts, causing trouble wherever he goes, he's a pain really, and he's one to break rules without a second thought (assuming he knows of the rules, he doesn't care very much!)

Danny is very much the "bad boy" archetype, and he leans heavily into it. So much so he comes off across as Silly! He's not above physical confrontations, and not above playing dirty!

Overall, he's bad news!

there are a few things about him that i find amusing,

he can't fly! but those wings are real! (In his family his wings are actually considered "small", not big enough to actually have him fly... it's a detail he very much loathes!)

He acts nonchalant, and tries to be cool, but secretly he's a ball of anxiety. (again, you didn't hear it from me!)

(he's a fan of pinchos, because he likes "sword fighting" with people after eating) (no major injuries were caused, don't worry!)

unfortunately, he's flirtatious, but in a subconscious way. He'll compliment you, and charm you with fluffy words, but don't trust him! he's just trying to get what he wants... (your heart! don't let him have it!)

(additionally, he's not very good at taking care of it...) (Love is a sort of game to him, he likes playing it, and he doesn't understand how it truly works, so if someone comes along with a sincere word he tends to be thrown off, and he doesn't know what to do.)

(it makes him go backwards, and he gets awkward, because he's just! bwah! he's frustrating!)

(Rainy is often subjected to Danny's antics, and quite frankly it always falls flat- mostly due to his confusion)

he's self centered, and he does take a great deal of care to try and keep his physical appearance in check (his hair is very shiny and soft... he'll tell you to wash your hands before you can touch it!) (along with his wings!)

He loves attention, and does have the tendency to get jealous when he's not the center of it! He wouldn't go out of his way to get it... at least, most of the time! bwah!

Hi beautiful people i have a legitimate , Social Scripts question

i really hope this doesn’t make me come off as mean or anything… or very oblivious - but so so many ppl have told me in my life that their attraction to me is the first way they’ve felt a specific way about anyone , Is that just something people say? i feel like it’s kind of losing its meaning for me because everyone says that to me sso these are my different thought processes:

1) this is just a thing people always say in courtship and i’m taking a phrase to seriously / literally where it should be seen more as basic courting behavior

2) it’s NOT a basic courtship phrase but people happen to say it often to me in attempts to woo me because they know that attention is powerful or whatever idk

3) even entertaining the idea of this being a genuine thing is a bit overwhelming actually and i don’t wanna be egotistical ..

if it’s not that deep this is so embarrassing. It just keeps happening so i don’t know if that’s just what people do
