How am I still here? SQH au:

The thigh hugging wasn’t enough.

Disciple SQH is running through a snowy forest, dodging ice shard projectiles. SQH isn’t very athletic, he can feel his lungs constricting and his body feels on fire unlike the snowy environment.

SQH looks back on the life he has made for himself here, how the other disciples who died on this trip had their own thoughts and ambitions. How they died for nothing.

Tears form at the corners of SQH’s eyes. He’s going to die, he is going to die and the system will erase his soul. He wonders if the system will be merciful and send him to this world’s heaven, he doesn’t get his hopes up though.

Suddenly SQH feels a sharp pain from his shoulder, his body freezes up and his knees buckle. SQH supports his body with his hands and knees, his unprotected hands meeting the icy chill of snow.

He steadily looks at his shoulder.

Red. His entire shoulder is red with blood. His shoulder muscles have been decimated with an ice shard that has landed a few feet ahead, covered in his blood. He will bleed out in a few minutes with this type of wound.

HIS character, the one he made just for himself, not his fan base. His favorite, is going to kill him.

SQH really can’t ever be happy, can he? He’s all alone in this world.

The only person he would ever claim to be even close to being a friend in both of his lives, is his biggest “hater”. Peerless Cucumber. It might sound sad, but looking at Cucumbers comments really helped him mentally. It helped him discover he wasn’t a terrible author, well, at the beginning of his novel at least. Cucumber also supported him financially, even if it was to just bash him quicker.

SQH’s one regret is that he never got to meet the person who put food on his plate, kept him in his home, and payed his medical bills. That might be an exaggeration, especially with all of the other people who bought things from him, but Cucumber was the only one who only brought SQH’s official merch. None of that quick cash stuff.

SQH’s arms shake underneath him as he hears Mobei’s feet crunch in the snow, he’s getting closer. SQH has always been pathetic, he admits it, ok? He just wishes he was able to at least make a friend in this new life, or even just meet his son, Luo Binghe.

SQH’s vision is blurring, his body is going numb, the pain isn’t as intense, and his lungs feel like they are shrinking. So this is it? Is being a ratty disciple and a terrible author all SQH amounts to?

His eyes flutter shut as he feels Mobei skewer him with another ice shard through his abdomen. He is finally dead.

SQH’s eyes shoot open as he sits up with speed. His body aches and his throat is dry. He looks around and sees it is a patient room in Qian Cao.

To answer the second question, Yuuji knew everything. Sukuna mentioned inviting you to him that same morning and Yuuji was jumping up and down from how happy he was. He loves reader a lot (I hope I was able to give a good depiction of that in the drabbles), so he was super bummed out when he had to stand in the VIP (since he’s family) section alone. Poor boy even thought about yapping your ear off about every little foul the players did 😭 but also he IS that smart, because the kid is SO good at getting mood shifts/romantic feelings. In his head you’ll never leave him and Sukuna because you’re gonna live together forever. His parents just fight sometimes y’all 😔 keep him in your prayers 😔

LO APPRECIATION:

Lord, I am so upset at myself for forgetting about one of my most favorite character in the series. I’m sorry y’all I’ve been doing so many damn rants that I’ve been lacking with the appreciation side of my page. Anyways, I would like all of you to give a standing ovation to a nymph who’s more than worthy of the spotlight (although I hated the way they decided to present her) and is more beautiful than half of the main cast because she was absolutely gorgeous, I’d like you all to give a warm welcome to Leuce.

Listen, I wanna get out one thing. I love her so much, I was literally one of the people defending her when the fans tried to tear her a new one for even being close to Hades. I’m gonna say it now, if Leuce was really into Hades and genuinely wanted him for herself she could’ve had him in any universe. But he honestly doesn’t deserve someone as beautiful as she is. I love everything about her and she didn’t deserve half of the haters she gained from that fucking chapter, it will forever irk the hell out of me. Now y’all know how Minthe felt when Persephone literally did the SAME THING.

But onto the things I love about her, one thing is her personality. She seemed so kind but she had so much self confidence, like in that moment I felt like she could flip the conversation to her at any given moment. I never had such interest in a character, or no that’s a lie I have but it’s been a while since that interest had been brought out. I’m glad that Leuce knew who she was, even when Hades declined her she still held her head high and walked out of the room, unlike Persephone who can’t take no from anyone and starts begging and crying like a literal baby, Leuce was always mature and so sophisticated. She never spoke out of turn or tried to manipulate the conversation to be in her standard, no meant no with her and I’m glad that the “replacement Persephone” was way better than the actual one.

Also speaking of that nickname, Leuce was never a replacement just an upgrade.

Next thing I wanna talk about is her aesthetic, she has one of the most beautiful designs ever and I absolutely hate the fact that she was really just used as more HxP leverage. She’s so much more than that, she was so pleasing to the eye and whenever I saw her it was like smelling a person who bathed in lovely soaps for like 60 years (weird analogy but think about it cause that’s how it felt for me) and whenever she spoke every word made me want to hear more from her. There’s never been such an alluring and captivating character like that in the whole series! Yes, I know it’s a shame that Rachel didn’t try to make Aphrodite more like that but what can you do I guess.

Another thing I loved about her is her dress, I know we’ve seen similar looking dresses in LO but something about hers is just gorgeous to me. I love everything about it that dress is amazing to me. The silhouette, the little corset in the middle, the armband, the way it just mysteriously travels down her body and everything is amazing. I’ve never loved an outfit more, except maybe Artemis’ god form, but none of the outfits in LO have been as good as hers and there’s a few people I can think of who equate to her but not many.

I adored the way her hair looks as well, I’ve never been so mesmerized about seeing curls in so long but everything about it is so amazing and wonderful. The length is perfect, the way the curls sit on top of her head are perfect, everything about her hairdo just exudes perfection. I feel like if they gave her any other hairstyle, believe me she’d still look absolutely amazing, it wouldn’t have the same effect as the bun does. Especially since the little flowers are just decorated in her hair, it’s amazing and even though I wish she were more accurate and not a flower nymph because let’s be real, flower nymphs are not the only nymphs in Olympus I’m still so obsessed with the way they look on her and her only.

Last thing I loved about her appearing in the episode was how many beautiful redesigns came out of it. I personally love seeing redesigns because they’re all always so good and well thought out but the way that Leuce’s appearance brought out so many talented people is crazy. No matter who it is they’re always so good.

Anyways, that’s the end of the appreciation for this post but it won’t be for me of course. I’ll always love and appreciate Leuce, she could’ve been one of the best characters honestly. But I just hate that she was just supposed to be a sugar baby for Hades, not that the sugar baby part is the bad thing I just hated how Rachel tried to make it seem like that was all she was. I hate how Leuce was only used to make Persephone look like “the better woman”, it’s always with women who are either more confident or comfortable in their own sexualities. Like it genuinely irks me so much that no woman is deserving of a good ending or happy love life in LO if they’re not HxP. There’s more things about the way Leuce is introduced that pisses me off but I can’t think of it now and besides, this is supposed to focus more on the appreciation of Leuce not how terribly the comic treated her.

gonna be a 100% honest, only levi stans care abt how popular he is 😭 like he's my fav too but I cannot stand any levi community w minors especially on twitter bc they make him the poor guy when he's literally the gojo of aot...... I’m assuming you’re not the same person so I’m gonna give you the benefit of the doubt.

I think the key points that you’re missing in all of that is ‘Twitter’ and ‘minors’ tbh

Twitter is a cesspool where it feels like people join in on pointless debates and arguments for no reason. I’m not trying to invalidate what you’ve experienced but I would caution you not to lump every single Levi fan (or Eren fan or whoever else for that matter) in as one entity that all shares the same opinion. Like anything else, the loudest people are the ones who get heard and I have never in my four or five years of participating in this fandom run across a Levi fan who has cared about his popularity. Just like I have never met an Eren fan (apart from the anon who’s been harassing Levi writers for weeks) or an Erwin fan or a mikasa fan etc who cares about their favorite character’s popularity.

It’s children. Because when you’re a child, you care about being popular and you care about the popularity of others. And that’s not saying that they’re stupid or silly or whatever, because that’s just how kids are. I cared about that kind of shit when I was a kid too.

And of course they’re all complex characters. They’re all tragic too in their own unique ways. But someone focusing on their special character that they particularly like above the rest doesn’t mean that they think the other characters aren’t also complex and unworthy of attention. It’s just that they like that one dude and want to spend their time focusing on him.

Tl:dr: y’all just gotta live and let live. If someone’s doing something that you don’t like or agree with that they enjoy and it isn’t harming anyone, move on. Pretty basic shit.

I think this goes without saying but I FREAKING LOVED IT!!! I loved seeing Nagi’s perspective on the events of season 1! From the opening where we learn a little bit of his life prior to meeting Reo to his thoughts during the various matches- all wrapped up on one big Nagi package! I was giggling the entire time whenever he was on screen: he’s just so CUTE!

“Nagi of the living dead” made me cackle so hard he is ADORABLE!!! And using the goal netting as a hammock until Reo was all “Hey don’t you want your phone back?” Cause his video games are his go to’s 🤣🤣🤣

Also can we talk about Zantetsu? I know his whole thing was brief but what we got of him was so good anznannsns they really introduced him putting his clothes on wrong like- my guy AHBXBSNXNSN I do like the moment in the baths with Nagi and him and all the feels that came with that; it was small but it made me really like our lovable idiot! 🤣🥰💖

Y’all- this movie made me love Reo! Listen- I wasn’t a hater, but I also wasn’t like; Reo’s biggest fan either? It’s complicated. But now I’m 100% down with Reo- he really grew on me this movie and I liked how we got his thoughts and feelings after Nagi left him. It really added a layer to his character and made him out more than just a guy who was feeling petty. (Which- we all knew wasn’t the case in the season but like, having that confirmation was so good??) Also seeing the post credits scene with him giving Nagi his gloves and being supportive- they made UP Y’ALL AHHH! 😭😭😭😭😭😭🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻����🏻 I’m so happy I can’t even begin to explain it!

A lot of the movie though was rehashing the season: which isn’t a bad thing cause 1.) Nagi POV and 2.) I got to see Chigiri on the big screen and y’all don’t even know how happy that made me! Raichi was hilarious as ever- I loved his “straight out of your nightmares, pal” line; he sounds like Cartman and acts like Sanemi and he’s just the best! 🤣🤣🤣🥰🥰🥰🥰

Ugh god I loved this movie so much! I will admit; and this is my own fault really- but I was kinda disappointed we didn’t get the post Rin match fights with Barou and Chigiri. I thought the second half would be a continuation of when after Isagi left, but that didn’t happen. Again- it’s my own fault for assuming that was in it: it didn’t take away from my experience or joy watching the movie at all! I just wished we got this scene animated:

Who knows- maybe season 2 will have it??? I just really wanna see Chigiri and Barou being looney tunes anznannsns 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Again; not disappointed- the whole movie had me giggling and laughing and kicking my feet and excited from start to finish. I adored it very much!

Those are my thoughts! I probably have more but as of right now those are what comes to mind! When it comes to crunchyroll I’ll definitely be rewatching it again- Nagi’s faces alone are hilarious, and Reo is becoming a firm favorite! It was truly amazing!

some n+a=j truthers seem to like this theory because they want jon to be AA and think dawn is lightbringer. hmm no. lightbringer is drogon probably. also, a literal sword being lightbringer is such a turn-off idc

others seem to be the complete opposite: they are almost afraid of jon being a little bit more important to the prophecy stuff than what they would like. they know there’s no way in hell jon is going to be legitimate in the books, so they don’t care about throne claims (and anyone with 2 braincells knows that dany feeling threatened by jon’s legitimacy in the show was just another stupid ideia from d&d), but the magic stuff?

they hate the idea of him being the son of rhaegar and lyanna because they know this means jon will have an important role to play in the long night and the prophecies related to it

now, i don’t think this means he’s AA (i think AA is dany anyway because jon being AA and dany being his nissa nissa is so fucking stupid and sexist)

but i find it sooo funny how some people in this fandom wholeheartedly believe they already know/figured out everything about how the prophecies will unfold in the end

because we don’t, honestly. prophecies are all about not being obvious

so what if jon ends up having an important and surprising role in this whole thing? i have my own theories regarding that, but i don’t even dare to talk about it in fandom spaces because everyone just assumes that they’ve got everyting figured out and that the most obvious interpretation is the correct one

so yeah, jon being the son of rhaegar and lyanna has obvious magical repercussions, but some of y’all are just too scared to admit it and instead decide to deny it altogether

but it’s completely possible to be a dany fan, believe she’s AA and also think jon will play a key role — a different one, but important nonetheless. it doesn’t hurt i swear lol

and then there’s the third group: the rhaelya haters

i’v seen multiple times people going like “i hate rhaegar and lyanna, i hope my pookie pie jon snow is not their son” like i’m sorry this is not how it works lmao you don’t get to pick and choose “better” parents for your favorite characters or ignore the importance of their parentage just because you don’t like their parents

look, idgaf about rhaelya, i don’t ship them. i’m very rhaegar-neutral (don’t hate him, don’t love him, tho i do think he’s an interesting and intriguing character). i like lyanna i guess but i’m not that invested

that being said, sorry to break it to you, but hating rhaegar and lyanna (as individuals and/or as a couple) is not a good reason to deny the huge amount of hints towards r+l=j and its obvious implications to the story (specifically to the magical side of the story)

because if you do that, you’re not starting from the premise of what makes more sense to the story, but from what you want. then, you have to work your way backwards and do mental gymnastics in order to make some sense out of your theory

Ongoing Series - Thai

My Boy the series Ep 1 - no subs. It’s exactly like the trailer, cool dude/nerd pairing. Starts with our POV (the nerd) breaking up with his boyfriend, hottest guy on campus then bullies him over stupid stuff, sparks fly, and we’re off! Very pat, but they’re trying. The seme can actually play the guitar which is nice to see, but I sense a sing feelings trope incoming and y’all know how I feel about those. *shudder* Also the crap sound effects are strong with this one. So I guess I’m mixed but I’ll keep watching. 

Y-Destiny Ep 14 - the end of YoonLayPerth sad eps. The inherent gayness of flutes strikes again. I got excited because Tir & Masuk use rao with each other (so cute!). Did I cry? Of course. I’m a total sap. Lay is great at pining and I loved this installment. There was something almost poly about it, which I think was partly a conversation with the shippers about letting Tay have two ships, but was very cleverly done. Looks like the final next ep will simply be a wrap up/couples check in.    

Golden Blood Ep 2 - good, they gave Sky a chance to be sweet, gotta redeem the brat. Tropes included piggy back, gifts, shoulder sleep, bathroom drama, wound tending, & sponge bath plus a side dish couple (sunshine/tsundere). Bit overacted, but I’m enjoying it. 

Top Secret Together Ep 8 - look my boys are just the flirtiest things EVER and I LOVE IT SO MUCH. Seriously, they have no shame. It’s great. Don’t really care about the others anymore but the friendship aspect is cute. La la la. 

Nitiman Ep 9 - mostly just them eating and drinking together and then eating some more. I’m okay with that. Quality entertainment. Bit of manufactured drama at the end, rumors that 10 will be the last episode and I could see that happening, they seem to have run out of steam. But MDL still says 12. 

Hometown’s Embrace Ep 1-3 - picked up this pulp at the rec of @heretherebedork​. It’s a good/bad pairing with the adorable sunshine returning to his poverty stricken home getting involved with the local loan shark muscle. Secondary couple is a noble teacher plus local punk. It’s a very unusual setting for BL and I like that but it’s also very pulp and difficult to follow.

Monster in Law AKA Mẹ Chồn Dâu Cáo (Vietnam) Ep 9-11 - This is turning into a family drama soap opera and I’m okay with that. It’s fun. The anchor couple can hold it together and I basically am just happy to see anything centered on gay domesticity. 

Be Loved in House: I Do (Taiwan) Ep 8 - how are they so soft? Why do we have to have a faen fatal? Is my heart going to survive 4 more episodes? Do we have a new entry into the best BL parents roster? GAH. SUCH A GOOD SHOW.

Light On Me 1-2 - a 16 episode high school set BL (each ep = 15min new content). It’s very cute. Super socially awkward kid decides he needs to make friends so tries joining the student council but one of them hates him. 3 possible love interests although it’s obviously the hater. Everyone is VERY pretty. 

Ossan’s Love Eps 1-4 - Hong Kong’s remake of the Japanese original. I like this cast better, the main actor is appealing even though the character is basically a lovable fool (not my favorite archetype). It’s VERY camp and so far pretty beat-for-beat like the original. I *think* I like it. I keep getting distracted by the nuances of the Hong Kong accent. The eng subs are STELLAR (of course). It’s 15 eps at 40 each so LONG for a not-Thai BL. You’ll either like the style or find it very off-putting - Japanese slapstick meets Korean sit-com. I’m not sure I’ll make it through the whole thing.

Thailand has a history of announcing projects and then not green lighting them, so it’s hard to know if something is actually in production and delayed or never got out the gate. But I think that we can safely say the following are delayed for various reasons not the least of which is surging C19.

Bad Buddy - many who follow GMMTV closely think this was supposed to take over the FUTS Frigay time slot but there hasn’t been any indication that this will happen, although about a month ago we got BTS that they were workshopping it.

Bite Me (full trailer) - Mark Siwat as a delivery boy who inspires a grumpy chef. Rumors abound around illnesses.

2gether the movie (Thai trailer) - intended theater release was for April 22.

Tell the World I Love You - already completed filming, stars Perth (Ae in LBC) opposite Bas (Wayo/Wayo) in an action movie BL. Established director Poj, support cast include Bank (Gen Y) was supposed to release to theaters in the first quarter.

Love is Science? This 20 ep May/December het romance drama with a BL subplot has been delayed at the half-way mark for over a month now, with another month to go at least. There’s something very wrong with production on this one.

Korean studio Strongberry (we love them, okay?) dropped a new trailer for Sweet Curse. Usually they only do microfilms but they have done a series in the past, (Long Time No See) so this could be either. But what it definitely is, is BL horror. 

I don’t really follow BL out of the Philippines but I might have to make an exception for Tie the Not (previously known as Under the same Sky). Based on a true story, this centers on the Chinese-Filipino community and involves a gay romance, culture conflict, and challenging traditions. When the head of the Wang family dies, Blue and his parents journey to Xiamen, China to discover their roots. But an unwelcome surprise awaits Blue. (From MDL) It’s from Oxin, the studio behind My Day, who have slightly higher production values than other Pinoy houses. 

It looks like Thai studio Wabi Sabi might be bringing us a high school set BL pulp, Game On, about an older brother who discovers his younger brother is gay and starts interfering in his romances/friendships with disastrous results. It’s a big cast with lost of WS regulars so I think it’s coming from them? 

New Thai BL Check Out got a teaser. Not much info on this one, so this is likely a fund raising trailer but it’s appealing. Looks like a pulp friends to lovers, possibly f-buddies/players. The actors have worked together before in Skinship and Best has been a lot of BL (including Good in LBC), their chemistry looks solid.

Okay so I’m kind of tired of the whole “oh you’re first high school love is gonna be your forever love! You’re gonna date, always stay together, get married, start a family, and live happily ever after” Hollywood trope when it comes to movies and tv shows. Cause let’s be honest, not all high school romances, especially first loves, end up together. I liked how they kind of brought that up in episode 8. I think everyone is just so use to the idea of first high school loves staying together because Hollywood is making it appear that way. And the crazy thing is we scream about how we want these shows, especially ones about teenagers in high school to be more realistic, then when they try to be everybody starts losing their shit because it’s not the rose tinted world they seem to want it to be. Plus there have been many shows where the “first loves didn’t end up being endgame.” Didn’t ruin the shows. People still watched them. And besides for those who are mad that Benji and Victor might not be together answer me this: how many times in teen shows did a fan favorite couple break up, see other people, fall in love with said other people, break up with them, get back together, and then repeat the cycle again? Or they break up and they see a whole bunch of people before getting back together? You see where I’m going? And plus at the end of the day, y’all still gonna watch so stop lying. Okay, let’s just be honest for a minute, this show is mainly about Victor really coming into to his own about his sexuality and navigating life as a gay teen, Benji is only a part of that, otherwise the show would be called “Love, Victor and Benji.” Doesn’t have the same ring to it. And plus I feel like Victor should really go out and explore relationship dating. I mean, you date one person even tho ur not really into them then you get with someone else, get all serious with them and then what? That’s it? No exploring the gay dating scene? Find out if you’re into certain things? That’s just it? That’s why I loved it ep 9 where Rahim kind of calls out Vic for his type only being Benji. Like really dude? You’re seriously telling us that’s the only thing your into? No features, no hair color, no height, no nothing just Benji? Okay, talk about unrealistic. I want him to get out and enjoy life, date a bit, explore the gay dating scene, hell, conservative Christians probably have had more relationships before settling down. If he does end up with Benji, mazel tov. If he doesn’t, that’s okay, nothing last forever. If he ends with Rahim, good for him. If not, again, nothing last forever. If he ends up with someone totally new and different, great for him. But can we please not turn into a toxic fandom over fictional characters? I’ve had enough of that with the Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow fandoms over some ships I don’t need it here in Love, Victor-Land. If you don’t agree with anything I’ve typed that’s fine this is just my opinion but anything rude or hateful will be reported/blocked/deleted/laughed at. Watch the haters roll in as soon as I post this. Hope everyone enjoyed season 2 of Love, Victor! I know I did!! Oh and p.s. I love how people seem think that they control things like the writers, the actors, the fandom, etc. love the ego. Conceitedness looks good on you!😂🤣

What is your ranking of the original New Directions members (including Sam & Blaine, doesn’t have to include Matt since I know he’s difficult to rank lol)? :)

ooh this is so fun! here we go:

1. quinn: no surprise to anyone who knows me. i adore her and all her squandered potential - by far my favorite character to watch on screen and to read/write fanfiction for. not a perfect person - or even a nice one a lot of the time - but somehow still incredibly compelling. 

2. mercedes: a true queen. worked hard, stood up for herself and her friends, brushed off the haters and went on to become a fierce celebrity in her own right. we love to see it. also, her cover of ain’t no way? my favorite song from all of glee.

3. kurt: literally the coolest person on the show, and one of my all-time favorites.  he was so brave and fearlessly himself, even in the face of incredible pushback, and i really admire him for that. he’s as ambitious and determined as rachel, but doesn’t step on other people (or send them to crackhouses) to succeed. at the end of the day, he achieves his goals on his own merit and hard work, which was a refreshing foil to rachel’s storyline.

4. blaine: he’s such a complex character, with such an undeveloped backstory, which is why he appeals to me so much (same reason i like quinn, now that i think about it). he isn’t perfect, and there were certainly moments that i actively disliked him, but i found him to be really interesting, and his relationship with kurt was incredibly sweet most of the time.

5. tina: love her! fantastic sense of style throughout the seasons, and really grows into her own skin similar to people like blaine and puck. there’s definite character development there, and i love the narrative of her going from someone who let rachel steal her west side story solo in the front 9 to fighting for a place in the spotlight in seasons 3-6. 

6. rachel: love fanon rachel, but canon rachel is someone i can only handle in small doses. she’s got a wonderful voice, and her ambition is admirable. she also won my heart in a lot of scenes opposite quinn, where she shows a remarkable capacity for forgiveness and compassion. i think she’s a good person, but not a very nice person, and she’s a bit much for me.

7. mike: mostly sweet but not a really strong presence in my mind. i don’t remember him doing anything that made me upset, but he didn’t have enough of a personality - or enough screen time - for me to develop an attachment to him, so he’s smack dab in the middle.

8. santana: (ooh i can feel the hate coming already). look, at the end of the day, santana just didn’t do it for me. towards the end of season 3 and through the end of season 4 i actually found myself warming to her, but her decision to leave new york to go to an island with brittany (who is literally my least favorite og glee clubber) pissed me off, and she never really recovered from that decision. also, a lot of her “funny” comments weren’t funny to me at all, just mean. she crossed the line a few too many times for me to every like her.

9. sam: love his voice! also found him to be a pretty solid character in seasons 2 and 3, if a little boring. then season 4 hit, and he was relegated to being not funny and kind of dumb too. disappointing end to a character that had a promising start.

10. artie: meh. great voice, mediocre personality. said some really shitty things - mostly about and to women, but also the scene with ryder from lights out (y’all know the one) comes to mind.

11. puck: hate season 1 puck, tolerate the rest. he’ll never be my favorite, or even a character i particularly like, but he had decent character development and personal growth, especially given the show’s general manner of ruining everyone’s character development on a regular basis.

12. finn: started an asshole, ended an asshole. had sweet moments occasionally - especially opposite quinn, rachel, and as a teacher in season 4 - but completely destroyed any trace of fondness by using homophobic and ableist slurs, making the glee club perform gangnam style at sectionals (seriously, what even was that), and generally being both dumb and prejudiced. no disrespect to cory though - he seemed like a wonderful person and actor, and my disdain for finn is strictly based on his writing and characterization.

13. brittany: i didn’t find her funny at all, especially in the later seasons - she was just mean and irritating. also, as a bisexual woman who looked to glee for queer representation when i was coming to terms with my sexuality, brittany failed to deliver for me in any meaningful way - probably because she never actually used the work “bisexual” to describe herself, and her promiscuity - while not a problem in and of itself in my book - fed into a lot of shitty stereotypes about bisexual people. not a fan.

John led Karl around the small town to pick up people to help stop the hostile bandits he had the pleasure to meet when he first entered the saloon just a few hours ago. Now an eccentric band of characters were leaving William’s shop to head to their last stop, the bakery. 

“Alright, so this is Kit!” John spoke with a slight drawl as Karl watched hesitantly as a head peaked up from behind the counter that had been covered in fresh loaves of bread. Karl paused at the sight, it was y/n. It couldn’t be, they had died on doomsday. He felt frozen to his spot as he studied their every move. Karl knew deep down that this wasn’t y/n. He’d seen these past versions, relatives of sorts. of his friends, but he’d never seen anyone that had looked like y/n. It had always been sapnap or technoblade, it was as if y/n died not only in the present but in every past he traveled to.

“Huh” they said as they wiped the flour from their hands on a black apron that had been tied around their neck and torso, stepping around to the group. 

“Hey, Kit!” John was cut off as y/n jumped into a question.

“John, I thought you already picked up your stock for this week?”  John scratched the back of his neck feeling Percy’s stare digging into the back of his head due to his newly revealed spending habits. Y/n, now Kit, continued talking before abruptly pausing when they finally noticed the crowd that had accumulated in their small bakery. “What’s all this about?” They said with a hint of anxiety slipping into their voice.

“Nothing to be worried about!” Karl jumped into action at the sign of y/n’s trepidation “We just wanted to ask if you wanted to help us take down those old democrat haters.” Karl nervously laughed.

“Oh! Yea, for sure bucko, I hate those guys as much as the next one of y’all.” They smile, a steady joyful expression breaking their former nervous demeanor. Karl felt strangely sick at the sight, at how much it reminded him of his old friend, or more so crush, before their passing. Though he also noted the change in your speech as a strong southern accent slipped in every once in a while, even using the word y’all.

“Good to hear, Kit!” John said happily as y/n and William shared a small conversation talking about stock and sales in the recent weeks. Karl trailed behind the group as he watched y/n converse with the crowd, their face filled with a wide smile, even daring to talk with Crops as if he wasn’t a convicted cannibal. They seemed as kind as ever, as an addicting presence as they used to be when the two lived together in L’manberg.

“Hey Karl!” y/n practically beamed at him as he passed them on the wooden prime path as tommy affectionately called it. “Niki and I made this new bakery together wanna come check it out!” They singsonged already reaching to grab at Karl’s sleeve. They smelled like freshly baked bread, their face dusted with a soft blush from the exertion of baking.

“Yea, sure!” Karl granted them his hand letting y/n pull him in to waste an entire day tasting pastries and sweets. He went home that night with flour handprints on his back and a warm feeling in his chest. 

“Great shot!” Karl was pulled out of his trance as he watched Michael whiff the target by a few feet. Shaking his head he studied each member shoot with varying success. Though what really caught his eye was an aim that only rivaled y/n’s own coming from who John had called Kit, the baker that smiled exactly as y/n had every time he whispered a bordering on senseless joke into their ear on party island. He struggled to solidify the name Kit in his head as he watched Kit stick out their tongue as they focused their aim and hit a perfect bullseye. Kit smiled to themselves before they followed the party to the tents surrounding a warm crackling fire.

“Hey, Kit, right? Sorry I’m just never very good with names.” Karl said as he settled down beside the sweet-smelling baker. 

“Yep!” They chirped with a relaxed face as they studied the flicking fire as it reached up towards the open sky.  “Need something?” They asked turning to Karl. Karl blushed at the eye contact not knowing why he started the conversation in the first place.

“No, no, no,,, uh nothing, I just wanted to say good shooting back there I guess.” He laughed to himself playing with the ends of his sleeves.

“Thank you very much, kind stranger! Just a little hobby I picked up after they built that old shooting range. You know, I don’t think I ever caught your name back in my store?”

“It’s Karl.”

“Karrlllllllll” Kit drew out with a goofy face focusing on the l “Pretty name!” Karl felt stuck in time as the interaction mirrored one he had had with y/n.

“Kaaarrrrrrllllllll! Did I ever tell you your name is pretty?” Karl looked at y/n confused.

“No, but ,,,, I wouldn't quite call it that.” He blushed looking down at his feet. 

“I would.” y/n nodded affirmatively “cause it’s Karl, not Carl, it’s pretty,,,,,, your pretty,, really.” y/n laughed at they looked up at the lazily passing clouds with a gentle smile plastered on their relaxed face. 

Karl laughed away the small compliment after he looked back up into Kit’s e/c eyes as the group broke into talking about the coming showdown between the two sides.

“Kit, I think you should fight, Mason. You have the best shot out of us aside from me, of course.” Sherif Thompson spoke. 

“That’s okay with me! Anything to stop those guys from ruining my pastries really.” Kit said as their interest was engulfed by the warmth from the fire once again. Karl felt fear dig its way into his chest as he looked at Kit’s side profile remembering the last time he had seen them like this. 

“Karl go to your library, please. The grid can’t reach it” y/n called to Karl over the never-ending sounds of explosions and falling rubble. “I’ll be okay, I got my bow and my charisma.” y/n chuckled sadly.

“Come down with me! We can be safe together. This isn’t worth it, y/n!” Karl begged as he yelled over to their figure standing tall knowing they were on their last life, knowing that they were not going to go with Karl, knowing this could end in tragedy. Y/n turned  with fresh tears trailing down their cheeks. 

“This is my home, Karl.”

“I know.” Karl resigned to the fact that you weren’t gonna come with him. Weren’t gonna cower as L’manburg breathed its final breath full of smoke. “I love you.” He yelled as they gave a brave smile jumping down to join the fray. He had imprinted the side profile of their face as they stood solemn, lit by the cloudy sky and the flashes of explosions.

Suddenly it was high noon. Tension building in Karl’s chest as he called out the paces studying Kit walk away from Mason. The track record had been 2-0 he could only hope it would remain so positive.

They both fell to the ground, Mason dying upon impact due to the arrow directly piercing his heart. Kit wasn’t as lucky, the arrow had hit it’s target, but not quite a bullseye, the tip was lodged into their upper thigh. 

“y/n!” Karl called out in a panic, the strange name not lost to the group around him. He rushed to Kit’s side as tears freely flowed down his face. “Does anyone have a potion?” Kit stared at him in confusion.

“Hey, I’ll be fine, not an artery or anything, just hurts.” they gave Karl a soft smile trying to reassure him of the small injury not being lethal.

“Yea, yea, sorry, I just.”

“y/n’s dead, Karl.” Quackity said as he walked into the secret room of the library that was hidden behind the bookshelf full of y/n’s favorite classics. Karl was frozen in fear as he studied Quackity’s face for any sign of this being some sick sadistic joke. He only found sorrow and loss.

“No, no, y/n, will be here any second! The fight is over, and they are okay, right? Right?” Karl begged Quackity as he felt his hands begin to shake, his breaths becoming ragged. Quackity sat down beside him letting Karl curl into his side. Karl hand’s gripped to his shirt as he sobbed. Quackity knew he couldn’t stop Karl’s pain, but he could comfort him through it.

“I guess, you just reminded me of an old friend.”

Helluva Boss Trailer Analysis!

Yes, I watch this.  Yes, I like it.  No, I won’t argue with you about it.

Now that that’s out of the way, let’s just say that I was up when the trailer dropped, and was still up for a bit after.  I’ve watched it so many times now, just absorbing everything, and now it’s time to break it down.

I’ve seen a few breakdowns already, but I noticed that there were a few things people hadn’t mentioned.  So I’m tossing my hat in the ring, let’s see if we can figure out what Vivziepop has in store for us!

I’ll be breaking down by scene, as well as go over voiceovers and predictions real quick, so prepare for a read after the cut!

Ok, first, had to laugh at Millie’s Peppermint Vodka Molotov Cocktail.  Creative, but what a waste of vodka :(  The background is of a beach, but she’s not in beach clothes (let’s face it, a bikini would probably kill Moxxie)

Moxxie is shooting at something while he’s swinging from a rope in a deserted theater.  Piano on the floor, and a sun pattern on the back wall

Blitzø (thanks for the copy/paste, Google) cleaving a blonde in half with a baseball bat.  Damn, he stronk!

Loona and Blitzø filming someone’s misery (again, probably Moxxie).  They’re in western outfits, but they’re probably still in Hell

Tentacle wrapping around drugged Moxxie and taking him, too fast for Millie to react and stop it.  Again, looks like it’s tied to the first and fifth scenes

Sassy Blitzø, probably talking to the repo-hellhound or punching-bag Moxxie.  Same setting as scene 11

Blitzø running to the window of what looks like a recording studio, with ‘VM’ spray painted on the doors next to him.  He looks distraught, but it’s not clear why

Recently choked-out Moxxie recovering, while being frame by a spiny-tailed Imp wearing what I assume is a serape, since it looks like they’re on the ranch Loona and Blitzø cheered a poor soul, scene 12

DEPRESSED BIRD DADDY.  WHY ARE YOU SAD???  IS IT GONNA MAKE ME SAD??? OH NO I’M NOT READY unless its a flashback, but stilllll

Dressed-up Moxxie, who probably jumped bombed a performance, is upstaged by Robo Fizz and most likely a Robo Ozzie, given the designs on its’ head(s).  He looked uneasy even before the Robos popped up, so something else was going on first.

HUMAN!!!  Almost definitely a human pop-star singing on a Coachella-esque stage!  I tried to fill in her name, but could only get ideas of what some letters were.  Her initials are most likely VM, from the recording studio scene, but the bottoms of some letters could be an E or L, K or R, so we’re left with V~(L/E)(K/R)OSI(K/R)A MA~~.  It also looks like she’s wearing heels, so she may be the person who threw Blitzø in a later scene

Shocked Stolas, standing up at table.  Same outfit as the burlesque, but he doesn’t looked surprised enough that it’s the part where Moxxie is upstaged, more something emotionally jarring.  Blitzø kissing someone else, maybe?

Happy Blitzø turns horrified outside some elevators with Moxxie.  Judging by the water cooler in the back, I think he’s about to slam into the recording studio.  Behind him, Moxxie gives no shits

Blitzø looking miffed, maybe at something Moxxie said.  Looks like the same scene with the repo-hound, as the setting itself looks like an impound lot, with the IMP van smack-dab in the middle of it.  I love that the license plate is IMP-666 though

Western-clad Blitzø pulling his flintlock on someone, most likely before scene 18.  Most definitely Hell, judging by the poster and previous scenes, but I’m digging the décor

Blitzø not getting a break at all during this trailer and being yeeted into a dumpster, which closes on him.  Gonna take a stab and say it’s outside the burlesque Stolas and Moxxie were in, from the colors and posters of Lust Ring, Personal Companion Robo-Fizz, and Angel Dust.

The next scene is of him climbing out of a dumpster to fall into another pile of trash.  He just doesn’t get a break, does he?  It doesn’t look like the dumpster outside the burlesque, but it is similar to the alley with the hell portal, where Blitzø pinned Moxxie.  Maybe not the same scene, but most likely same episode.

Editor being absolutely plastered, teasing all the fun stuff to come in 2021, since 2020 can go f*ck itself.

All right, now, predictions!

Chaos in a theater, with focus maybe on Millie and Moxxie’s relationship, maybe an origin story?  It won’t be the only one, with the tentacle beach monster and drugged Moxxie bits, so we can expect a lot of story and character development from the two of them.

Farm episode!  Blitzø either drags them onto a farm, or there’s a client who invites them, but sh*t will happen.

Really excited to see what happens in the Lust ring, and for the return of Robo Fizz!  Baby boy only got a few minutes of screen time, but is currently my favorite character.

Repo episode of rescuing the IMP van, probably resulting in overall team building and character development.  I really want to see Loona tear a new one into that *sshole-looking hellhound, though.

Pop star episode!  Really excited to meet this new character, I wonder what her name is and how close I was XD  Either Blitzø and Moxxie break into her recording studio to meet her, or she’s a client, but we’ll see!

Trapped on Earth/Run in with Earth authorities episode?  That interrogation room didn’t exactly look Hellish, and they obvious meet some kind of resistance while on Earth that looked like it was gonna get messy...

Stolas episode!  Please please please be flashback and story, I loved Loo Loo Land but really want some more lore and development on his character and maybe relationship with Blitzø.  Bird obviously needs to work through some things, and I really want to watch him grow, ever since I saw him struggle to tell Octavia why he was cheating.  Him stuttering and ultimately being unable to find a reason why really hit home, and I’m glad it was something they included since in media, it’s always ‘Well, she’s really ugly’ or ‘I don’t love him anymore’.  He still has feelings for his wife, but wanted to f*ck Blitzø too.

Even without the trailer, we do know that we’re getting episodes focusing on CHERUB and a Harvest Moon festival, but still.  There’s so much content Vivzie and Co have been working hard to make, and I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us.  Dark comedy aside, there’s so much story they can make just around these four characters, following their growth and happenings around Hell.  It’s such a cool premise and one that hasn’t been washed and worn so many times, like cop or murder shows, and I can see this going on for quite a bit.

I didn’t think it was possible to love Jean more than I already did but this chapter proved me wrong. I was so glad he finally learned what happened to Marco and at least got that closure.

I actually found Jean’s dream sequence to be a little unsettling, maybe because of Isayama’s style of not drawing certain facial features clearly, like the eyes. It was almost more foreboding to me than sweet, peaceful, or nice to see.

My favorite moment was the reaction shot where Mikasa was going to charge Annie and everyone is freaking out but the last panel is Levi just sleeping.

Was it Mikasa? Was it a girl with exactly the same hairstyle and scar who just happens to look like an older version of her? Most fans seem to think it was very clearly intended to be Mikasa with solid numbers. Hating on Hange puzzles me, I understand people who support the rumbling, but saying she is bad for wanting to stop the killing of billions is just frustrating to me.

Magath is a complicated fellow isn’t he? He seems to treat Eldians better than most but has trouble getting over his own prejudices regarding them. Most of you seem to think it was character progression (56%) that he reached out to help Gabi in that moment as a man, instead of as her commanding officer. We shall have to see if Magath’s attitude continues to soften, and if so, could it potentially be a microcosm of the world’s attitude to Eldians in general?

This was the moment where all of us felt like our view was taken on board however, and it was brilliantly done.

Super excited for next chapter! It was good exposition and a good setup for an epic fight! It's not just ""muh Marley, muh Eldia or muh Yelena"". Everyone have started sins and are to blame for something. It was a really necessary wake up call, not only for the characters, but for this fandom as well. No matter if this was her intention to create more drama in the group or make them realize that they and not different from each other. GREAT MOMENT and Yelena absolutely slaying 👑

More useless drama for a character who is progressively getting more annoying by the minute (hi Jean)

Since the end of the second world war, japan was reconstructed almost entirely by young people, so probably this story will end showing that with some analogy. making that previous statement, i think it won’t be eren, or any of the older characters, since they lived and did the horrors they did and must somehow pay for it(and specially the PTSD most would have, so they’ll be probably incapacitated in some way), i think it will be Gabi, or maybe Falco or someone else, because they are just lost, Gabi changed her mind and personality so well(progress, developed it), so that’s why i think it would or maybe even should be her. am i expecting too much from Isayama?

I believe in the Time-Loop still. But ya, hope Final Battle is with Levi and Eren teaming up. (Also Mikasa a bit before...)

Honestly wished the first few pages were real. I would love it for Jean and Mikasa to actually get together.

The award goes to Isayama for being the first person writing a story in which I have absolutely 0 clue about what will happen next. Like I never ever was at such a loss of theories. Never.This is both awsome and frightening. At least for that, props to Isayama

So let me tell y’all a little story that I found myself reflecting on after that last post.

Let me tell you a bit about a wee little 18-21 year old fangirl named Anne. Anne had never been a fangirl before. But she was going through a hard transition in life. High school ended, college began. She lost all her friends. She lived with her parents, took classes at the local community college, spent 2 hours every day riding the bus home from college, and then spent evenings working full time at Blockbuster Video.

But she happened to be home the night that a silly little television show about aliens and romance started airing on TheWB, and it hooked her. By the end of the 4th episode, she was on the internet looking for people to discuss it with and learning that fanfiction existed.

By the end of the winter, she was getting off work at 1am, going home, and then writing fanfiction herself for hours before going to sleep.

Fandom was different back then. There really wasn’t a whole lot of talk about representation, overall, because there were no characters that weren’t white, straight, etc. No one really talked about how the show whitewashed the books. We were aware, but we just didn’t question that stuff back then. Plus most of us looooooved Shiri Appleby.

I remember when Season 2 came around, there were a lot of unhappy people. Max and Liz didn’t feel right anymore. Tess was hanging around more. End of the World happened and everyone felt awful and heartbroken about it. I remember being in Covina with a bunch of friends visiting filming locations when the spoilers broke about Max sleeping with Tess, and we all lost it. We posed in front of a medical facility that had a “chest pain” sign out front to prove that we were HEARTBROKEN.

But I guess the thing is that when these moments in storytelling happen, I often become an optimist. Because I as CERTAIN it wasn’t true (it was true). I was SURE Max and Liz would get back together and end up together (and they did). But my fandom friends were so upset that once again, for the second time in about a year and a half...I lost all my friends. Because they didn’t want to “hurt” me with their negativity. (Them walking away hurt 1000000% times more). But eventually I found new fandom friends that loved me and it was all okay.

I understand being hurt. I understand being upset. I try not to let it overtake me because I am only in this fandom (and that fandom, and other fandoms) because I WANT to love this stupid story. And if things aren’t going the way I want them to enough that it hurts my heart *coughDoctorWhocough*, then I walk away.

As a funny little final interlude, I will share my most unpopular opinion regarding OG Roswell: I hated Michael Guerin. I was infamous for it. Everyone knew that I couldn’t stand him. He rarely made an appearance in my fic. I didn’t like his relationship with Maria. I don’t think love should be based on bickering. It became such common knowledge and such a running gag among my friends that I was a Michael hater, that in my favorite/best OG fic, I tongue-in-cheek wrote Michael as spending the entire fic on his couch watching hockey, which both fit with canon and made me not have to deal with him. It still amuses me to see because I knew exactly what I was doing and it cracked me up. Hell, it still cracks me up.

The thing is...fandom has changed a lot since then. Everyone is a whole lot smarter. The world is a lot more “woke”. People get worked up hard about representation and identification and problematic characters and plots in a way that they just didn’t back in the OG days. I found myself thinking today that if I had the same reaction to RNM Guerin as I did to OG Guerin, I straight up wouldn’t be able to admit it publicly or be this open about it without getting heavily criticized or even blacklisted by the majority of this fandom.

I guess my point is, even though we’re smarter and stronger and have better minority representation, it’s important to remember that we’re not all the same person. We don’t all see things the same way. We don’t identify the same with every character. We don’t PROJECT onto the characters in the same way. Everyone deserves to say their piece and SHOULD, frankly. That’s the point of fandom. But just remember that we’re all real people with our own ideas and feelings and wants and needs.

And don’t forget. Fandom is supposed to be FUN. If you’re not having fun, you’re doing something wrong and I’d highly encourage you to reconsider your priorities.

Take whatever you don’t like and stick them on a couch in the corner watching hockey. Or whatever you need to do to get them out of your headspace.

Cultivate your own perfect fandom experience.

And treat each other with love and respect. 💚💛

Ahhh the hiatus is finally O-VER. & that’s the sweet smell of survival! ...or is that apple pie? 🤔

Let’s get down & dirty 🕳🐇

So real time when I watched the first scene with Bishop/McGee on the phone with Sloane/Gibbs, something Bishop said stuck out to me but I wasn’t *quite* sure what they might do with it until the Jimmy/Ziva autopsy scene. Now- let me paint you a picture: Nick confides in Jimmy that he has trouble with lost/missing kids because of this tough case undercover, right? Great, makes sense they bonded after paint night PLUS as Ziva confirmed for us - Jimmy is the team confidant, secret-keeper, etc. Which is all fine & dandy, very touching- yada, yada. NOW think back to that first scene- McGee answers Jack with a “he couldn’t stay here” but does so relatively quickly, semi-nonchalantly like maybe there’s some hesitation because he didn’t want to throw Torres under the bus for leaving, but honestly it seemed just casual to me. Ellie on the other hand, glances at McGee as she feels she’s about to spill beans and says “He’s got a thing about lost kids.” First- flashback to the original swan!Nick scene when she already knew before the rest of the team that was a thing. And second(!!) if this is such a big deal to Nick that he told someone like Jimmy in confidence but it wasn’t something he “talked about often” tell me- whyyyyy is he telling Ellie then too?!?! Exactly my freak out. Nick opens his heart & his deepest fears to Ellie, it’s fine & I’m crying.

^^y’all that was just one scene 🤦🏻‍♀️

I digress- swan!Nick was a sight to behold, I won’t lie. The motorcycle, the fierceness in his eyes, actions, everything- it was wonderful & that’s the tea. PLUS we got more backstory on Nick (see above), while it wasn’t much I don’t care, I’ll take what I can get. Aaaaaand in reference to swan!Nick, you cannot convince me Nick didn’t add a little something extra to his chokehold on Victor as payback for all that “apple pie” shit last ep- boy check yo-self, your jealousy is showing & I don’t hate it.

At first I didn’t love that Gibbs told Ellie to stay & she just listened, and ask @hellokaelyn I even tried to tell myself not to get annoyed because I had a strong feeling one of my predictions was going to come true & she’d still get to punch Victor (ask the Ellick gc- I called it. Well, at a different time in the ep, but still. I’m going with it). AND THEN we got that whole TSA drama scene and I actually screamed. Like legit, a loud shriek left my lips. Nick ready to beat a man, Ellie rushing in and getting 🎶haaaandsyyy🎶 - I mean literally, girl you felt the need to touch his shoulder, flip to your other hand and drag it across his arm to his chest AND place a hand on his back?? But actually who wouldn’t want to 🙈 Ok and then the eye contact. *swoon* Nick doesn’t look back to Victor ONCE after Ellie steps in aaaand he visibly calms down just by her touch & presence. The callback to their vulnerable talk after the paint night fight was just 😩 (insert headcanon that Nick promised Ellie he wouldn’t get into any more fights.) Then THEN we get Ellie telling Nick that Victor isn’t worth it... “not to you anyway” (which we’ve decided can go one of two ways- as a continuation of her sentence that the fallout of punching Victor won’t be worth it for Nick - my personal favorite, orrr that Ellie was saying she wasn’t “Apple Pie” to Victor, but maybe she is to Nick??) Regardless, the resulting punch was BAD. ASS. And that is when I screamed. Looooved seeing Ellie but her big brain aside & lead with her emotions 😭 Because then we got to see McGee: a mood. Smirking at Torres like- you’ve got it so bad, don’t you? And while we didn’t get to see Nick’s reaction, well...that’s what fics are made of, right? 😏

Ziva’s goodbyes: I’m sooo glad we got this scene, not just for the Ellick content but for the character arc in general- I’m really glad Ziva got a more proper send off/goodbye even though, my NCIS senses are tingling about the openness in which they ended this ep...that big 400th ep is looming & I just can’t help but wonder who may *pop* by 🤔 Anyways back to Ellick- Ziva calling Nick out again AND his growth. Going from straight denial to a smile & laugh that speaks volumes (yeah, yeah- I knew you wouldn’t leave without saying anything, I’m working on it), followed up by Ziva’s smirk that says she knows that he knows she’s right 🙌🏼🙌🏼 he better do something about it now. Then her goodbye to Ellie was perfect- the Odette thing is relatively in the open which is necessary for No Secrets 2020 & it was a big giant suck it to the Bishop haters 👊🏼😏. Ok plus the handshake between two strong female leads instead of a hug 👏🏼👏🏼 OH and I almost forgot, Ziva’s face when she said Nick let her win...that did not look like a face that believed what she just said was true. That was her version of, I’m aware of the lie you told, you wuss.

I THINK THATS IT. There’s tons of other thoughts on the episode, not Ellick related, but I’m gonna stop here before it becomes ridiculous 🙃😘
