Dick: quality time and touch.

Dick will do everything in his power to be around you most if not all of the day. He loves just sitting in silence with you, it’s never awkward! He loves it even more if you’re sitting in silence holding hands.

Any and every time you’re walking around in public, he will be holding your hand. He loves to take hold of your hand and swing your arms.

And at night, when you sleep together, he is so clingy. Just an absolute cuddle bug and will not let you go.

Tim: acts of service and gift giving.

Tim notices everything about you. And when he gets your routine and habits memorized, he will try to help you complete them easier. Whether that be making the bed for you, or simply making dinner he will always try to do something nice for you every day.

Whenever he goes out shopping and spies something that reminds him of you, he will most likely get it. Your house gets over cluttered with little things Tim has gotten you over the years.

He’s a really good gift giver too. whether it’s somthing you’ve been wanting for a while or something you didn’t even know you wanted, he’s gotten it for you.

Jason: quality time and words of affirmation.

Jason loves spending time with you and he gets very sad when he hasn’t seen in you in more than a day. He calls you a lot too. Your used to picking up your phone and seeing 13 missed calls from him, just for him to say “hi, I miss you”

He really loves words of affirmation because when you tell him something nice, he gets and happy and blushing so he tries to make you feel that way too.

He tries to do it smoothly, randomly walking by and saying “oh, your hair looks nice by the way” once you smile, he’s celebrating.

Hal: physical touch and acts of service

Hal loves touching you. He loves intertwining fingers, resting heads on shoulders and hugging. He doesn’t care when or where, he just adores touching you.

He also tries his best to be helpful and do small chores or things for you. He really likes it when you do tiny tasks for him, so he’ll do some in return. He knows that you get lonely when he’s away on long missions, so he tries to make up for it by catching up on chores and such. If theres ever something you’ve been worrying about, Hal will get it done for you and act as if it’s no big deal when you thank him.

Wally: quality time and physical touch

Wally loves being near you. He loves just sitting next to you and staring at you as you read or scroll on your phone.

Whenever you two are on public transport, like a bus or subway, he will be holding onto your waist, as you rest your head on his shoulder.

He really likes squeezing you’re face before kissing you, he thinks you look adorable and he loves the smile and laugh it brings.

Barry: acts of service and physical touch

Barry gets busy a lot. He also forgets a lot. Whenever he notices that you have done something for him, whether it be a small task or not, he feels so lucky. He tries his best to repay you for your act of kindness by doing something small for you in return.

You often return home after late nights to see dinner made and the laundry put away.

He also loves holding you, but he’s very observant of your boundaries and whether or not you’re in the mood for hugs. If you are, then he’ll be glued to your side all day, and if not that’s okay too! He’s okay with simply sitting on the same couch, smiling as he watches you do something mundane.

Roy: words of affirmation and acts of service

Call this boy anything sweet and he’s in love. He lives for your kind words and praise, even if he hides it. He tries to say something nice about you every time he sees you. He will absolutely praise you a lot, as he likes praise himself.

He also enjoys doing small things for you. Need something fixed? Ask Roy, he will be happy to help. It’s usually repairing things, or making small things for you he does, he always hopes it means alot to you.

A/N: Feel particularly sleepy today. The weather sucks. I need cuddles from my favorite characters.

ANAKIN

Pulls you into bed with him and doesn't let you do anything work related for the rest of the day. Don't even think about anything work related when you're spending time with him, he is your beacon for a stress-free zone. He kisses your forehead while you cuddle, his hands pressing into your tense muscles. Considers it a great achievement when you fall asleep in his arms like that.

LUKE

Invites you to a meditation session with him. Might sounds silly but it really helps relax both the mind and the body, clear your thoughts, let go off all the stressful things of the day. His hands reach for yours, constantly rubbing his thumbs over the back of your hands to help you relax further. If you can't relax he will talk you through it, giving you his words of affection to focus on.

BEN

Oh he is not the best at relaxing, in fact he might be one of the worst people in the galaxy for that. But if there's anything he can be proud of is that he really does try to help you de-stress. It's a little aggressive still, he wants to be close to you, give you a few little kisses but passion soon takes over. And while that can help you relax in certain ways you'd much prefer a simple cuddle session.

REY

You tell her she should take care of herself as much as she's taking care of you. This confuses how her. How will this help you relax? Well, if she isn't freaking out about you all the time and how much she has to work to give you the things you want then you would both be able to relax together, which would also mean more quality time spent together.

LEIA

Tells you to get as comfortable as you can be because she's gonna give you the best massage you've ever had in your life. She hadn't given many but she did get a lot of massages growing up. It's the perks of being royalty and she's confident she can help you relax the same way. She goes a little too hard on the knots in your shoulders but eventually she does hear you sigh in relief.

HAN

Will take your mind off anything stressful by telling about the latest heist offer he got. Yeah, the job is pretty reckless, but it sounds fun. He won't really go on this specific heist mind you, the pay is too low for someone of his caliber, but he's telling you how it could go, making you laugh by doing so. Making you laugh is all the reward he needs at the end of the day.

OBI-WAN

Has a whole relaxing evening planned out perfectly by the time you get home, no detail will escape him. It's almost too perfectly planned, so much so that he puts all that pressure on himself but hopes his charming smile is enough to distract from that. Won't put that pressure on you, he only wants you to relax and let him do things for you for a change. You deserve to relax after a long day of work.

DIN

The man is a great listener and cuddler and he will use both of those skill sets to help you unwind. Whatever you need to say to get things off your chest you can say it to him, and he will do his best to take care of the problem. Not necessary by going in and taking care of the problem personally, but just offering advice. But if his personal intervention is necessary he will go in and clean up the mess.

SABINE

Latches onto you whenever she can. She acts like she's a sponge that will absorb all of your stress, she will soak it up and help it melt away. Every time she notices you're feeling stressed, or pent up or sad there's a hug waiting for you, big or small it hardly matters to her how long you want her to hug you. It's important that you know she's there for you whenever you need her.

SHIN

Isn't good at giving advice or dealing with stress. She's not someone who considers herself a stressed person so the feeling is unfamiliar to her, she doesn't know how to help you. That being said she will at least listen, really listen to what you have to say and the reasons why you're stressed. At the end all she can offer you is her closeness, her presence there, but even that is enough.

I personally really like fics where they're super jealous/petty, enough so to actually take action.

Fics where Will persuades Hannibal to sleep with him or otherwise pursue a romantic relationship in season 2 when he's with Alana (because we all know that relationship is a ruse anyway), especially fics where Alana catches them in the act or right after

Together-since-the-beginning or post-fall murder husband AUs where maybe one of them feels like they aren't getting enough attention from the other so they start bringing other dates home to make the other jealous (added bonus when the spited spouse kills and displays the bodies of the dates used to spite them)

Pre-established relationship AUs where they're keeping their relationship on the down low but Hannibal (because it's almost always Hannibal in this scenario) isn't happy about not being able to show off his husband so he finds increasingly not subtle ways to claim Will (extravagant packed lunches, nicer clothes, flowers sent to his office, hickeys, etc.)

There's one fic I'm thinking of that takes place in season two where Will sleeps with Hannibal and in the middle of the night Hannibal sneaks out and kills a guy to make breakfast with for Will. Jack shows up in the morning to question Hannibal and Will walks out in his underwear and pulls the Alana "I was here with him all night" line. Jack stutters and is like "huh????" and Will (jokingly) frustratedly asks if two men can't sleep together these days and Jack is like "no it's just last time this happened Alana was standing there" and Will pulls a fake hurt face (because he absolutely already knows) and goes "😥 Hannibal, you slept with Alana??" and they fool Jack into an alibi like that and I think that's beautiful.

I've definitely read an HEU fic here or there where Hannibal has to learn to share with some other Mads characters and I love it every time, whether it works out or not

One of my favorite fics is Will enacting his revenge on Hannibal in the bedroom for setting Randall Tier on him, but he makes it clear that Hannibal's punishment (sleeping with Will lmfao (consensually ofc)) is not just for trying to have him killed but also because Hannibal belongs to Will and Will should be allowed to do with him what he pleases and take what he wants from him whether that be his blood or his pleasure when he has wronged Will 😵‍💫

Anyway yeah being super jealous/petty 👍

rewatching voltron with the knowledge that shiro is gay and has an ex-fiancé is actually very funny because that means when he got back to earth after being held captive and forced to fight gladiator style in space prison his first and main concern was to get the FUCK back to space without alerting anyone else that he was on earth at all. and yanno what that is so valid i too would be so embarrassed and never want to see my ex again after he specifically told me not to go to space and i didn’t listen and that resulted in the break up of our almost marriage and on the space mission he told me not to go on i got alien kidnapped and thrown into the middle of an intergalactic war.

what really gets to me about the lawsuit arc is that no one really says the wrong thing when trying to reassure buck about everything in a general sense, they say what pretty much what you’d expect for the situation. so, on the first watch you’re sympathetic for buck but you still wonder why he’s reacting so strongly like damn guess this guy really likes his job.

then you watch buck begins. it literally recontexualizes everything especially the lawsuit cause while normally what was said to him would work, buck’s hyperspecific blend of trauma makes their attempts the worst thing they could possibly do to help, but none of them know that! so from their perspective buck comes across as unreasonable while in hindsight it’s actually a very clear trauma response

maybe one day i’ll do a rewatch so i can add specifics that show this instead of just vague incoherent ramblings

my brother can make me laugh without moving at all. he can make me laugh on command, just by existing, and there is no physical tell or indication that it is about to happen. it’s like he can will me to laugh and i will. of course we’re not telepathic, but we do speak in unison sometimes. we improvise like no one’s business. we could fool anyone into believing we are psychically linked. when i try to explain it, i sound silly saying it out loud, but i really CAN tell what he’s thinking. we exchange so much information just with a look. he can make me cry laughing and he doesn’t even have to move
