Gutted after finishing the harumasa story quest actually. Because I imagine he took into consideration possibly losing his life in that last act. Hurting my own damn self considering the scenario of him breaking up with you just before leaving for that confrontation with kirishima looking for his master in case he never returned. Itching to write an angst hurt/comfort drabble for him ughhhh I need to shake him in a test tube aggressively (affectionate)

Jayvik Modern AUs are hilarious to me because my boy Jayce is NOT playing any sports. He is NOT a jock. He is a gymbro nerd who tries to get his rich sister to play DnD with him, spends his days at the chemistry lab, plays chess and one day he suddenly needs to help the football team covering for someone because people think he must like sports. He doesn't even get along with everyone. He tries, of course, but he isn't the golden boy until the extremely rich and popular girl, president of the student-council, goes all "Popular! You're gonna be popular!" Glinda on him until he becomes popular thinking he's doing something good for the school when he isn't and he's getting carried away by fame and parties when all he truly wants is being with his lab partner Viktor. At the end of the day, Arcane truly was just like High School tbh.

lucanis' last question when interrogating zara's corpse -- whether illario also asked her to kill caterina -- is so telling. because if illario had done that, I actually do think lucanis would have killed him. (his standards are predictably wild and hilarious in a dark sort of way. listen I can forgive you for killing me that's fine understandable even but there's a limit to everything illario.) which is why he saves that question for last: it's the one thing he really does not want to know the answer to. because if the answer is yes, it's going to need action from him that would be so psychologically catastrophic that nothing the ossuary could do to him would compare, that would have been the end of him too, I feel, even with rook and the team there to try to catch him or pick up the pieces. I love how if you pay attention you can trace out the underlying hurt/logic already here, before it gets spelled out in inner demons. the logic lucanis' brain operates on is very sad and very consistent the whole way throughout the game.

bf!ratio who models for your paintings. despite having made a number of sculptures of himself, the thought of seeing himself in the perspective of his lover still brings him joy.

and the fact that you had your undivided attention on him? taking in every detail and murmuring soft lovesick praises? yes, please.

“you’re breathtaking.” you commented, hands placing themselves on his body, gently guiding him to a pose you deemed perfect for your painting (to be honest, he could pose in any way and it'll still be perfect).

“i know.” he replied, body going lax as your hands hover over him, hoping you wouldn't point out the soft redness of his cheeks.

your soft chuckle sounded heavenly to his ears, lightly shivering at the way your fingers danced over the exposed skin of his bicep, taking your time to feel every curve and dip of his muscles. you were obvious in your affections for him, while he was the complete opposite, being so subtle that others would question if you truly were dating or not.

“for the anatomy.” you murmured, a lame excuse to feel his soft skin, only earning a hum from him.

your hands traveled to his hips, guiding it to a pose as well. the way you purposefully dragged your hand over his body, touching him in a way that he was quite sure was more than innocent, he was convinced you were trying to rile him up.

“there. that's perfect, hold that pose for me.” your hands backed away from him, making the man fight back a noise of displeasure at the loss of contact. however, the loving kiss you placed on his shoulder blade took him aback.

“thank you, love.”

“hmph, im just returning the favor.” he replied, referring to the time you also modeled for him for a sculpture.

and speaking of, he'd surely pay you back for your teasing the next time you model for him.
