Lance had literally no impact as a character if you weren't directly involved in the fandom. I had several Voltron- and Voltron-adjacent mutuals at the shows height, but all you ever really knew from the outside is that it was some people in space. Yuri on Ice was to a much greater degree about the characters--again, I never had direct involvement, never watched an episode, but through cultural osmosis I knew all about Yurri, his character arc, and his dynamic with the other guy (Victor?). Lance absolutely cannot compete, not in the sense of website blorbo. He's too specific, with no greater cultural relevancy whatsoever. He wasn't even gay.

i feel like im in the minority who don’t want eddie to have a slut era in general like… idk even without chris it feels so ooc for him to me, like i feel like he’s so far repressed at this point that if he didn’t wind up with buck he would end up just living the bachelor’s life…

and like i feel like that was the whole point of not having eddie and tommy be the couple this season was bc it wouldn’t make sense for eddie to step forward in that way unless it was buck… or at least that’s what i interpreted the initial decision to swap the storylines to be so maybe i’m wrong

i guess after six years i’m just tired of them dragging their feet and i’m sick of them giving them meaningless relationships with zero chemistry rather than just letting them be happy… and giving eddie a slut era would just feel like they’re rehashing buck 1.0 and i’m tired of them reusing plotlines they’ve already used for other characters (and even giving characters the same plotlines again)

like eddie can be gay without having a slut era and i kinda would like them to not play into the hypersexual queer stereotype since they’ve decided to do so w buck

One thing is 3am me is a gremlin and I don’t like her or her brain (that was the time I made that post) also she just likes to make fun of annoying people but so do I and I had seen TOO many posts talking about a straight slut era for Eddie so hence the chaos gremlin post

Normal me’s thoughts on this:

• the reason I don’t like slut era as gay Eddie canon for Eddie is like you said it’s a bit ooc but also imo like I feel like BECAUSE he’s so repressed it’d take a really meaningful and impactful relationship to give him the like motivation/push he needs to get him outta that closet (which was my same reasoning for why I was glad they didn’t do Eddie/tommy like they originally planned- cos buck just never realised it but Eddie like actively represses it and has much more like in depth reasons for it- like buck wasn’t so much in the closet as he just thought that was his room meanwhile Eddie is like in a super bolted chained Houdini level closet)

• I mentioned in the tags but I want to be FLABBERGASTED when buddie canon happens I want to let out an audible scream in shock and wake up my neighbours and realise it only after I get a noise complaint and if they make them both canonically queer it’d feel like a matter of time (funnily enough i said this but about making ONE of them queer when the bi buck rumours were going around and legit the next week or so we get 7x04 and I was right - true I didn’t anticipate bt fans and the fact that it doesn’t feel FULLY inevitable- but fingers crossed I am psychic again and we get gay Eddie)

• while I think the fact it’s so ooc would be interesting because like it’d show how Chris leaving is affecting him I feel like it’d also be a huge disservice to Eddie because his queer arc and experiences deserve better than like strangers and one night stands as a coping mechanism if you get me

• if I’m fully honest even if his queer arc doesn’t end up perfect I just want him to be canon like it wouldn’t be my ideal like honestly if they do a disservice to him I’d hate it but still I’d just take the win because gay Eddie deserves to be free from😔 like even with buck they kinda weren’t great with his arc but my joy at bi buck overpowers that

a/n: smau + written (2.9k). one pet name, profanity, gay jokes don’t take it srs!! mentions of kissing/blood, mentions of alcohol, just angst everywhere. the moment is finally here sorry for the wait y’all are about to get real mad 😔

y/n wasn’t entirely wrong. as soon as the group arrived in front of the school (courtesy of beomgyu’s driving; thankfully they managed to snatch shotgun before anyone else could) taehyun and eliana were hand in hand and eager to head in together. y/n could say that they were the most unexpected pair to come out from these few weeks, but that place has already been taken.

dinner was weird. why exactly was isa here? she’s never interacted with the rest of them that often and she seems to have her own crew. at this point, y/n is for certain isa still likes beomgyu. tagging along with yeonjun, one of his best friends, just seems like a coy to be closer with him. y/n and beomgyu haven’t even been together for that long and they’re already jealous.

at the same time, y/n tries to fight it off. technically they won this battle, right? beomgyu is dating them not her. beomgyu sees them all the time in class, outside of class, they hang out with each other’s friends. surely, it would be too late for beomgyu to have any last minute realizations to change his mind.

snap out of it y/n, own up to your slayness, as kai would tell them.

it’s prom. this is supposed to be the one special night where they all could let loose and forget their worries, put their future on hold, and just enjoy the present while they still can. put rehearsals and the production on the back burner while they act on for their own lives.

it shouldn’t be too hard for y/n to act like these overbearing thoughts aren't on their mind and they don’t know anything. this is just like any other role.

“alright guys, let’s make beomgyu’s tweet come true,” yeonjun announces to the group with a clap of his hands to capture their attention.

right on cue, they all chant a night to remember with their hands in the air. y/n barely manages to regain their composure as they attempt to join this hurrah, but they missed out just by a few seconds.

taehyun and eliana don’t hesitate to scurry inside the school to see what tonight has in store for them. soobin and kai (both dateless) start walking ahead and yeonjun goes up to the person in charge for valet parking to store his car away. y/n stays behind to wait for beomgyu so they could go in together, only to see him and isa are standing together in a distance. y/n’s eyebrows furrow in place as they fold their hands together, unsure what to do with them.

“um, i'll be right in,” beomgyu coughs, but still sounds somewhat assuring. “we just need to talk for a minute.”

the boy has his hands in his pant pockets and appears to be stiff. he’s not closing the distance between him and isa, as she stands a few inches away to his right. y/n has been thrown off enough tonight, but they weren’t exactly expecting this. they glance at beomgyu one more time with caution and beomgyu responds with a quick head nod for confirmation. y/n catches isa return a closed mouth smile and y/n can’t help but do the same, as they feel it forced upon.

y/n gives a nod themselves as they slowly turn around and make their way up the steps and inside the school. they manage to catch up to soobin and kai and they squeeze in the middle as they interlock arms with theirs. the boys are both caught off guard, as they expected y/n to go in with beomgyu, and exchange some confused looks with one another. y/n does their best to keep their gaze straight, not wanting to look back. they can’t look back. thankfully, soobin does it for them.

“hm?” soobin says when he sees y/n with them. he looks at them and then stretches his neck to look behind him. it becomes apparent to him and he understands. he encloses his arm with y/n’s a bit tighter and continues to walk ahead.

eighteen minutes. that’s how long y/n has been standing in the corner right near the fruit punch. eliana and taehyun offered to stay with them until beomgyu came back, but y/n declined their offer. they shouldn’t have to sacrifice their night just for them. miraculously, a fellow drama classmate came up to kai and asked to dance, to which y/n practically forced him to take the chance. opportunities don’t come for him this often. soobin had to go to his locker in search of wet wipes as an underclassmen has already spilled their beverage on his shirt.

y/n observes the scene with their arms crossed, leaning against the wall behind them. of course, everyone is having the time of their life. the theme turned out better than they expected, and the decor isn't too shabby. some are lined up for photos, including taehyun and eliana. others are out on the dance floor eating up whatever the DJ is throwing at them. though they appear distressed, y/n at least finds kai’s attempt at dancing amusing.

their eyes trail onto a group of students who pour juice into those classic red cups as one of them brings out a bottle of alcohol and adds it into each other’s cups. y/n stares blankly as they recall the last time they ever drank, which was that night. considering how that ended up, they haven’t since then.

once that group leaves, y/n catches yeonjun in the far corner making conversation with a few other party goers. he seems to have no care in the world, just genuinely enjoying this good time.

that makes one of them.

why did y/n care so much? yeonjun clearly didn’t, maybe they were making a bigger deal out of this than they needed to. it’s not like isa is horrible either. she was always sweet to them whenever they interacted. however, being in this space right now has led y/n to believe that those two may have more going on than they suspected.

this is ridiculous, they thought. what could they be talking about for this long?

on that thought, y/n heads over to the window that shows a view of the front of the school, right where they were in the start. they feel bad that they were assuming something bad could be happening right now, as if they didn’t trust beomgyu, but they can’t help it. they’ve seen this kind of story before.

only…beomgyu and isa aren’t there anymore. maybe that is better? perhaps they were done and beomgyu was on his way to the hall. with nerves, y/n pulls out their cell phone. they would be lying if they said they didn’t debate on whether to call or text him. that’s the point they’ve reached to.

please stand up.

ultimately, they start a text conversation.

y/n longingly stares down at their phone in pure confusion and distaste. not only was it just revealed that isa did indeed like their boyfriend, but throughout this conversation they’ve noticed a few glances and side eyes being thrown their way. it’s like they’re all in on what just happened.

as y/n waits for beomgyu to walk inside the hall, the stares don’t stop. there’s even some whispers and chit chats being heard. not that they’re conceited, but this has to be about them, right?

y/n appears to be a deer in headlights until one of their classmates from drama class approaches them. her face reeks of pity as she whispers in their ear.

“check twitter.”

she walks away as y/n remains still in their place. their phone barely balances on their suddenly shaky hands. they can feel their forehead form a crease with their knitted brows as their fingers hurriedly open the mentioned app. it didn’t have to take much digging because it’s the first thing they see. something they never thought would ever be exposed.

everyone here knows that they’re dating beomgyu, and what was now formally their secret incident.

y/n can barely think straight. many thoughts begin to race in their mind, but the one question that takes center spotlight is who the hell is moanews? how did they know all that?

seeing all the rapid scrolls take place in this hall leads y/n to grow more anxious. everything’s out. they shake their head in disbelief and soon make way out through the door and into the hallway. yeonjun, eliana, taehyun, and kai follow right behind them when they realize what’s going on.

y/n could’ve sworn that the world was on pause. it wasn’t until they rushed out of there hearing the music blare through the speakers that they realized this is very much real time. they need to think.

the hallway surprisingly is quite empty and the music tunes out a little. y/n feels less overwhelmed, but their heart picks up its pace when they see beomgyu come out from the men’s restroom.

“y/n!” beomgyu calls out as he hurries over to them, his breath staggering with each step.

“beomgyu, what the hell happened out there?” y/n wastes no time to question. their words come out as a hushed command.

“i- she just confessed to me out of nowhere,” beomgyu’s words spill out, almost with no structure. “she says the feelings are still there even though she doesn’t want them to be. i had to tell her we were dating, y/n.”

beomgyu can tell y/n is trying to follow along, but the urgency in their eyes tells him they’re not doing very well. he steps closer to y/n and gently reaches to hold their hand. it’s stone cold.

“she made me realize a lot of things,” he admits with a sigh, like it’s the first time he’s being real with himself.

y/n shakes their head in denial as their frown deepens. “beomgyu, i don’t care that she likes you. i want to know who the fuck aired our business out like that and why.”

“w-what do you mean?” beomgyu’s eyes soften as his expression is replaced with concern.

just on time, the rest of the gang follows up with them in a hurry. yeonjun hands beomgyu his phone and the rest stay standing for what’s next. y/n sees soobin jogging up to the group as he came back from the opposite side of the hallway from his locker.

“dude,” yeonjun lets out a whisper. everyone watches as beomgyu’s eyes read all over the place, growing apprehensive with each word.

“okay, when did this happen?” beomgyu questions with the phone in his hand. yeonjun snatches it back and rereads everything for himself.

“that’s what i'm trying to ask you,” y/n brings the attention back onto him.

“i didn’t know about this-”

“yeah, neither did we,” eliana speaks up after observing enough. y/n shifts their gaze onto her and the rest of their friends. they appear hurt. “when were you going to tell us, y/n?”

“were you even going to tell us at all?” kai adds on. his voice becomes small and y/n can’t help but feel their heart break a little.

they were so focused on talking to beomgyu that they didn’t realize what else becomes of this mess. the fact that their friends didn’t know and were kept in the dark, and this is how they find out. it’s not looking good for anyone.

“y/n,” beomgyu speaks again, waiting to hear a response with solemn eyes.

and that’s when it all circles back for y/n. the thread said they are not what they think. isa likes beomgyu. beomgyu just said that she made him realize things. sure, he might’ve told her that they were dating but maybe his feelings have changed now? these two did have their on and off again relationship, maybe those feelings never left. perhaps that’s why beomgyu was so slow on making things official with y/n, because he didn’t want to. he didn’t do it until y/n literally had to ask. beomgyu was the only one to know their secret. maybe he never really changed.

they said they needed to think, but they never said they were rational.

“you…” is all y/n could stutter out, letting go of beomgyu’s grip.

beomgyu only blinks a few times to understand, but once he does, his soft expression turns into slight betrayal.

“you seriously… you think i did this?” beomgyu accuses, his tone going an octave higher.

“jeez, i don’t know!” y/n exclaims with their hands in the air. they’re aware their friends are watching at this point but it’s all out anyway. “you were the only one who knew, beomgyu.”

beomgyu scoffs as he can’t believe this current predicament. “and i told you i didn’t tell anyone. i wouldn’t do that to you.”

“yeah, well i don’t know what to believe anymore,” y/n mumbles with a cross of their arms, their eyes brink with tears. “right now i’m starting to feel like i can’t really trust you.”

“apparently you can’t trust us either,” a voice speaks up. y/n faces eliana, and her anger is unmatched. “we’re supposed to be your best friends, y/n. after four years you couldn’t tell us? seriously? we had to find out through a fucking thread.”

“this literally isn’t about you, el!” y/n’s instinct is to retaliate with a higher voice. “this is our own problem, or mine i guess.”

eliana takes the comeback as she swallows down any other harsh words she can think of. her tears begin to look similar to y/n’s.

“well i guess he’s not the only one who’s changed,” eliana replies lowly, with no life left to her tone. she recalls back to what y/n has said about beomgyu, about how he’s become a new and better person than what he was years ago. that’s a new level of low.

having enough of the conversation, eliana heads back to the hall with frustrated movements. kai glances at y/n for a second, feeling disappointed as well before he follows right behind eliana, probably in hopes that she’s okay. taehyun faces the boys beside him, visibly asking what to do. beomgyu and yeonjun give a shrug to their left indicating that he’s allowed to go after her too, to which he does.

“maybe i was stupid for thinking you were different,” y/n comes to the dull conclusion.

“i really can’t believe you’re saying this right now,” beomgyu responds with hurt in his voice.

“you literally said you weren’t innocent either,” y/n traces back to their texts that left them confused.

“not for this reason!” beomgyu argues in defense. not that he really has one anyway, even he can admit all this leads back to him.

y/n shrugs with hard shoulders, emotionally tired to keep this conversation going. they walk a few steps back before beomgyu calls out their name again, refusing to believe they’re going to end things like this.

“maybe you can write a song about your past biting you in the ass,” y/n spits out the harshest thing they could come up with, even if it wasn’t intended. “since your lips weren't enough, apparently.”

y/n rolls their eyes and soon begins to hurry out of this (what feels enclosed) building, back to the outside of the front of the school. they pause in their steps to wait to see if beomgyu follows them out, but he doesn’t. they can only hear yeonjun barge him with a bunch of questions.

y/n sits down on the steps after calling an uber to take them back home. they smooth out their outfit and exhale a much needed breath that they’ve been holding in.

so much for a night to remember.

technically, all this didn’t matter. it’s high school, people focus on one piece of drama and then they soon forget about it. they were all about to graduate anyway, go their separate ways. yet, it still hurt. y/n can’t forget about this, it’s not like they’re not going to see beomgyu after this. they still have rehearsals, graduation, hell, even college. they’ve confided in him with everything. now, he’s lost his only supporter.

their friends were mad at them, beomgyu broke their heart, they didn’t even get to enjoy prom for what it was. no pictures, no dances, no….kisses. what were they here for if it was only going to end up like this? did they even break up?

y/n hated beomgyu, y/n hated isa, y/n hated themselves.

the production was surely going to face severe damage after what just happened. they’re mentally apologizing on behalf of the entire drama department.

y/n feels a tear streak fall down their cheek, almost forgetting they were on the verge of crying. they quickly wipe it away, refusing to break down like this in public. they just wanted their uber to get here so they could go home, get undressed from their emotions, and watch home videos of their dad. they almost want to question him asking why they ever thought they could trust choi beomgyu. how could he ever change?

in the midst of all this, y/n hears footsteps follow behind them until ultimately a body sits right beside them. they’re too ashamed to look up, but they recognize those lean legs anywhere.

soobin, of all people. wasn’t he upset too? if anything, he was the one who hated beomgyu just as much as they did. he should be having his ‘i told you so’ moment. he should be yelling at them that they shouldn’t have been involved with a guy like him.

“…wanted to make sure you got home safe.”

and with this, y/n squeezes their eyes closed in hopes this will all go away. at least they weren’t alone, though. but come to think of it, it’s quite funny.

you have one guy with a visible stain on his heart, and someone who has an emotional stain on their heart.

Is Evie canon to the Yours Truly universe? I absolutely love her already, and I can only imagine the kind of hell she put poor Nel through growing up. Al would be so proud. Good on Nel for starting a law firm, too! That’s our queen!!!

But also the general heartbreak that Nel must have felt as every day Evie looked a little bit more like the man Nel thought she knew. Just looking at her daughter one day only to see someone completely different but so familiar staring back. :(

I’m also so curious how the realization that Nel was pregnant went down. Not well probably. Was it before or after Al died? How would Al have reacted if he was alive (He very clearly didn’t want kids). How on earth would he have behaved around a pregnant Nel?? Also not well probably.

And of course I can’t forget about the extended family. Where’s Grace, my beloved, in all of this??? The absolute agent of chaos that she is, she and Evie would cause so much havoc — I just know it. And I can’t tell if Marie would be ecstatic up in heaven or rolling around in her grave at the news lol. I’m assuming by this point in time she’d have passed away, but to know she just missed the big news — damn. Poor Grandma Marie. Nobody thought Al had it in him 😔

Evie is "canon" to Yours Truly but not in the way you might think. She is never going to be born, she doesn't exist, but she will eventually have a small cameo in a later chapter. The rest is a mysteryyyyyyy for now. However, I love thinking about the au where she's alive since I LOVE family drama and angst.

The girl is a menace. She's a strange mix of Darla Dimple, Jessica Lovejoy, and Heather Chandler but also can be oddly endearing? There’s a strange innocence to her. Yes, she did stab that man but she hugs her momma extra tight when that haunted look comes over her face. There are a lot of layers to the silly gay girl that VERY few people will ever see let alone notice and process.

If Al was around for Nel actually being knocked up and aware of it, he'd be annoyingly overbearing. 100% he'd treat her like she's made of glass even though she's trying to bite his throat out for being so condescending. It would be a giant clusterfuck of Nel randomly crying cuz her hormones are raging and she’s too big to bend over and buckle her shoes, and then Alastor is staring at her like she’s insane because it’s Nel, crying. They’d make it work though. Well, in another universe at least, because in the drabble-I-posted-verse uuuhh….he wasn’t really around to know that he has a child kicking around on earth.

But heeeeey she and Grace are BFFS! They definitely gang up on Nel together while she smokes 28 packs of cigs with a thirst for blood in her eyes. Little shits of a feather flock together.

If Marie was around, she would SPOIL that child. Her only grandchild, and a little girl??? Whatever Evie desired Marie would deliver and you wouldn’t be able to tell that child no without her granny defending her. It’s probably for the best that they never met since Evie would be worse than she already is.

The irony of the situation was not lost on ███, no Cupid as he was told to go by. It was the day of love after all. That did not mean he was not surprised when his heart started beating quickly, his hands became sweaty, and he could only stare at the man across the room instead of approaching him. It was so out of character. God, it made him so sick he could puke.

He had a crush. A crush of all things! That or love at first sight. Regardless, he had never felt this way to anyone before. All Cupid had known was one night stands or quick hookups with whoever was most convenient. Never coworkers, of course. He was not that unprofessional. Though this man made him slightly rethink that rule he sat for himself. Not that he could pursue anything of course. Besides coworkers being a big no no, he did not know if this man was gay or even the slightest bit interested in him. Hell, this was the first time they had ever met. That didn’t stop the fantasies though.

The fantasies that involved late nights, their breaths mingling, and definitely less than innocent thoughts that could have made even a prostitute blush. Cupid wanted him. Badly.

The voice calling him snapped him out of his thoughts as his uncle and the object of his affection beaconed him over. Though, he found it hard to focus on the words being spoken when he could look at the man up close. They were around the same height, close to the same build though Cupid was a bit leaner. He could smell the cigarette smoke that was stuck to the clothes of the man in front of him. Lucky strikes he thought. Regardless, they were cheap. Cupid would know instinctively fiddling with the lighter in his pocket. Quitting was harder than starting and it wasn’t the nicotine addiction talking when he found himself wondering if the man’s lips tasted like cigarettes too.

It was truly awful and partly scary feeling. It was like all the confidence Cupid had drained into a puddle onto the floor. For someone known to be charming and have a sickeningly sweet smile, he felt completely out of his element. He did not feel this way when he was practically forced to enlist at such a young age. He did not feel this way when he was practically blown to bits and clinging to life in a hospital. So now why did merely standing in front this man make him want to hide behind someone’s legs like a shy child? God, he hated it. He hated the way his heart was about to beat out of his chest yet somehow he found it in him to smile politely. Or as much as he could. He would have to learn to act normal. He would have to be in close access with the man during this upcoming mission.

Finally, the hand of Cupid's uncle on his shoulder caused him to jump a bit as he looked towards the older man. A silent warning to get it together. A shaky smile on Cupid’s part and a brief exchange of pleasantries had the conversation ending as Cupid’s uncle and the man walked out of the meeting room and into the labyrinth of hallways that was the military base that Cupid never thought he would see again after his accident. He thought he would be a lot more uncomfortable stepping foot in these hallways again yet he found himself giddy. Perhaps this man had awakened something in him that intensive therapy had not been able to fix.

With a large sigh he pulled out a cigarette he should have thrown out before lighting it up and taking a drag.

“God save the Queen.” He huffed mostly to himself. Hopefully this new infatuation would not hinder the mission too much. Regardless, Frank Woods had lit a fire in him he didn’t know he wanted to extinguish. It was fascinating.

A lot of people think the fight with choso is the best one in shibuya, but I actually thought the one with mahito was much more compelling to watch. Even though the techniques and the mood of the choso fight were very very interesting. The best one in the arc for me has to be the sukuna fight just because of the animation of the the techniques

The end of the fight between itadori and mahito is a true masterpiece

I don’t know why they’re suddenly in the snow, but my guess is that that is itadoris domain. It was so thrilling to see the bunnies and wolves, especially once the white wolf with the same wound in his face as itadori turned up. The calm in itadori, finally being able to fulfill his promise. I also liked that there wasn’t really any music in the background and then the sudden geto reveal was actually surprising!

I’m quite disappointed that fake geto interrupted itadori killing mahito. Even though it may have worsened itadoris mental state it would have helped mine. And it’s nice that mahito got absorbed because it’s a fuck you to him, but it’s really really bad because now fake geto has transfiguration :((

And I think it’s so fucking funny that itadori gives off some kind of connection that makes ppl want to be his brother 😭 but very intriguing that it’s possible that choso and him are really brothers through the brain thingy. Maybe it possessed one of itadoris parents at the time, we never got to know them. Very very curious to see where that storyline goes

I feel like he grew up in a conservative family so he has some repressed feelings and views that he has to unlearn. 

I could see him being bi but being in denial about it for a very long time.

It’s a shame he dies before he starts fully embracing it.

Carla: 

Carla is a lot more self aware and in tune with herself so she figures herself out pretty easily and when she does it’s not too much of a shock to her. 

I see her as being pansexual

On her social media she’s super outspoken about it but irl she’s more on the down low.

Although she will talk about her love life in front of Lionel just to piss him off and rub in that she’s dated more girls than he has.

Reggie:

It doesn’t help that he’ll most likely push away the people he cares about because as much as he wants it he’s still scared of being loved.

Honestly I could see him being gay and just not realizing it. When he does realize it he’s pretty chill about it. 

I can imagine him taking break out of the oven and then all of the sudden he goes. “I might be gay.” And then moves on with his day. 

He hasn’t really had time to think about his feelings so he isn’t really sure and it’s probably going to take him forever to figure out what aligns best with him.

i saw in one of your posts about you being ex-catholic and i was curious about that. i’m a catholic person that goes to a catholic school, in a catholic town, with a catholic family. i’ve been really thinking about being catholic recently and my problems with it. i was wondering if you could share a little of your experience with me? again if this is too personal please ignore i don’t want to pry into your life.

i promise i wasn’t ignoring this, i just suck at answering asks 😔 which is unfortunate because i love receiving asks and talking about myself

and i have no concept of person space/personal questions, so honestly it’s all chill

but my experience honestly only got worse with time. when i was little, things were more fun, as things typically are when you’re young. i was always bored in church, but i liked wearing pretty dresses and singing the songs. this post will go over a lot of uncomfortable topics and will be quite personal. you’ve been warned. blep. 👁️👅👁️

the first step, which is ignored for a long time was drumroll …. masturbation. i didn’t learn about it from books or fanfic or porn or anything. i was just a kid (maybe 13) and figuring out my body, which included being curious about why touching down there in certain ways felt good. once i realized what it was and that it was a sin, i started to struggle a lot. 1. it felt good and i didn’t want to stop feeling good in that way. 2. but it’s a sin and god did not approve.

for non-catholics reading, in catholicism we do something called confession. it’s where we go to a priest and tell him all our sins. the priest acts as god, and when you tell him this, it’s basically telling god. he then forgives you and gives you a penance, which is typically just a set of prayers to say. and they’re NOT ALLOWED to tell anyone else your sins.

well i was a regular confession attendee, but i could never bear to tell the priest that i had masturbated. lots of times i would cry after masturbating and was worried about going to hell, because i wasn’t stopping. i couldn’t figure out how to abstain from this habit (that quite frankly i didn’t even indulge in very much). lots of tears and fear associated with something that is supposed to feel good.

i can’t remember if i eventually resolved that i wouldn’t stop even tho it was a sin, or if i struggled with this up until i stopped believing in general.

it honestly started to go downhill the most once covid hit. (i was about 14) school closed, and so my mother decided that her kids (all six of us) would be homeschooled from now on. the homeschooling was the second step. she decided it would be best for our family to be catholic homeschooled. all of our books were Seton Homeschooling. any catholic homeschooler has probably heard of this program, even if they never used it. this program taught me a hella lot more about the faith. and me being autistic, this definitely became a hyperfixation. i learned a lot tbh. i probably know more about catholicism than the average practicing catholic.

knowing a lot about the faith caused me to find lots of weird “plot holes” and lots of contradictions. my faith was beginning to waiver, but i was learning everything i could about the faith, trying to answer my questions. honestly, i was starting to lose my grip on the faith.

covid being covid, this was the time i started to discover my sexuality. asexuality came first. it was a struggle to come to terms with, but i found out that there were gay people who were still catholic and i found temporary comfort in that community. i determined that my asexuality was actually a blessing from god. (he gave it to me because if i wasn’t asexual, i probably would have had sex before marriage because i love so fiercely and fully. so he gave asexuality to me so i could prevent myself from the sin of premarital sex. looking back, i think that’s a load of bullshit considering i’m actually demisexual lmao)

but then i had a ✨bi awakening✨which coincidentally took place in a church. a very pretty girl passed me in church and i forgot how to breathe lol. anyways, i left that church knowing something new about me. by the end of the week, i was thinking of myself as bi. i actually started dating this girl a few months later. funny enough, i felt like god had blessed our relationship and didn’t condemn it, simply because he allowed me to meet a girl named MARY in his CHURCH. so u felt like our relationship wasn’t a sin. she was catholic as well. we were quite the pair.

at this point, i was grasping at threads trying to find a reason to still be catholic. the next big incident snapped the thread. my best freind (catholic) told me that my relationship with mary was a sin and she couldn’t support it. i hung up with her lol. she called back and i said i’d only stay on the phone if she wasn’t mean. she proceeded to pull out a script she wrote to tell me how this was a sin and the guilty feelings i was having was because deep down i knew it was a sin. (it was just internalized homophobia). i hung up again. she texted me a long script and said i was going to hell. i blocked her.

here’s the part where the issue unfolds. she told her mom the situation, and her mom called my mom. she outed me to my mother. that night, not only did i lose my best friend and my girlfriend, but also any sense of comfort i felt in my house for about three years. (don’t worry for my safety. mother took away lots of my privileges such as internet, friends coming over, me being able to text most of my friends, going to my friend’s places, sleepovers, etc. but it was never unsafe for me) but that incident was probably the final drop that made the bucket overflow. i stopped believing in god sometime after that.

my loss of faith and discovery of sexuality are tied together and i cannot separate those journeys. however, i do believe that even without a sexuality discovery, i would have realized i didn’t believe in catholicism any more.

knowing as much as i did about catholicism, combined with my firm-proof-needing autism, and my sexuality discovery, all led me to lose the faith. after leaving it, i began to despise it, while also feeling guilty. it took many years to become okay with no longer being catholic.

though i would also like to note that even the catholic institution is quite corrupt and i hate organized church, i don’t hate people for being catholic. it makes me wary at first, but catholicism and god are not the issues. i don’t hate on people for being catholic or believing, nor do i want to belittle their faith. however, i feel like the catholic community is corrupt.

i don’t want to encourage you in either direction. do what’s best for you and what would help you be the best person and most happy in your life. i encourage you to question things and be curious about the faith. it might make your faith stronger, and you will be happy you did it, or you will realize this isn’t something you want to spend time on anymore. it’s up to you. and it may take YEARS to figure out. be kind to yourself and to others, and i guarantee it will be okay. no matter what you discover, you’ll have a community waiting for you.

For ref: goober = ftm and skrunkle = mtf, the world is kinda like sth, where there are humans but also anthropomorphic (things???) people

So his parents weren’t the greatest people (they fucking sucked)

They also thought gay and trans people were demons. Goober, at this point is working at a flower shop (he likes growing plants, it’s his happy time) and Monica walks in to buy some flowers for her wife (let’s go lesbians) she really likes the shop, but gets worried at the sight of goob Bc he looks malnourished (she knows, don’t ask her)

So, while prying info out of him (like the sneaky spider she is) she finds out that he has an older brother and a younger sister, noting the lack of mention about parents. Soon after that Alice (Monica’s wife) enters the shop on a different day and recognizes goober from the stories that her wife tells.

Uhhh some stuff happens (still working on it) but Silly gets super defensive over his younger siblings and doesn’t want them too go Bc he’s worked too hard to keep them, but the Withers, being about idk 12k years old, take them all in.

4 years later, Goober is 20! (Yippie!!) he gets into a fight with his adoptive parents (😔😭) he storms out crying Bc he thinks he’s going to lose his family again (aww:C)

My thoughts:

I wasn’t expecting us to finally get the fight from that night, so I was NOT prepared. This - When Azzi’s 18, Paige says those words, ones that sound a lot like giving up, and teaches Azzi that sometimes in life, even the people you thought would never make you feel this way, are the ones who'll break you the most – this broke me babe, and to think Azzi still held on despite everything. Like I know Paige was just hurting but maybe she does deserve the suffering (a little bit) after all.

The entire summer scene was fucking elite. Poor Katie and Tim, they just wanted a. nice. family. dinner!! And instead they had to sit through their daughter’s gay ass drama lmao, #freeKatieandTim

The bros standing ten toes down for Pazzi ✊ Jon and José not even trying sent me, like no sorry, P is our sister-in-law but we appreciate you dropping by. AND DREW, our MVP - Drew had looked over to Azzi then, his eyes wide and accusing, “you can’t be Azzi’s girlfriend.” – little man was a bit traumatised, like sorry pookie who is this girl and why is she claiming to be something she can’t possibly be? He’s the GOAT fr, I know when he and P got back home, he scolded tf outta her and it went something like- Drew: “Why are you letting Azzi be other people’s girlfriend?? That’s OUR pookie.” P: “I know, I’m trying bro!”. Drew: “Well try harder!!” *stomps away*.

Then the Cayman Islands - UCLA and UConn to each other: 😡😤🔪🤬🖕👿 while Azzi and Paige: 🥰😍🫂🤩💗👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩 and then there’s probably Carol like: 😩 (she’s so over all this)

And then the ending! I’m guessing P left without saying goodbye because she probably saw the text from Zoe and once again was promptly reminded of their reality? 🥺

Speaking of Zoe, oh girl I’m so sorry, you deserve better – like damn, she just wanted to share some fucking pizza!!

Also, jealous Azzi making an appearance! (I’m such a shameful sucker for the jealous Paige and Azzi trope, I’m sorry!)

Oh and one final thing on part 3 – babe I know you said writing **** was taking years off your life, but we really appreciate your sacrifice because it was absolute 🔥🔥

What’s next (potentially)?

Oh man where to from here huh… I feel like Paige is eventually gonna get to the point where she's like "choose me, pick me", only to realise that Azzi just can’t do it cause she can't trust her with her heart, and I know it's gonna hurt bad. And even though Paige needs and wants more, she’ll also take whatever she can get even if it’s slowly killing her, because it’s Azzi and she’d rather have a little bit of her than none at all 😔

Also, a tension-filled game between them in the final 4 coming up maybe??

That part where Katie shoots Azzi a look of disappointment – I wonder if momma Fudd will ever call out Azzi over whatever’s happening between her and Paige and poor Zoe?

Either way, something tells me we’ve still got a lot of angst coming our way, and look as much as I want our babies to finally just get their shit together, I just can’t say no to more angst you know, I’m just a girl. 🤷‍♀️

Oh and this part - she’s even less sure about how she’d survived that one year where they’d practically lived in each other’s skins – is this something (I'm guessing this is their covid era?) we go into a bit more?? I do love all the allusions/references to how long they’ve always been something more and the blurring of the lines but never fully crossing it obviously until that fateful summer of 2022. I guess it does explain somewhat, though, why Paige felt so betrayed about Azzi not choosing her (UConn) because baby girl probably thought “ok once we’re both at UConn, we can finally be together 😌” - like her dream/vision of them playing together and also being together got ripped away from her ❤️‍🩹

I miss you ganauru fics. 🖐️😔 What are your favourite headcanons about them? Like, would they be a cute couple if they didn't hate each other so much?

I’ll be honest anon, I don’t really have any interest in them if they don’t hate each other? The draw for me has always been the conflict between them, the obsessive focus they inspire in each other as men similarly attracted to power with such different aims and beliefs about themselves. Would they be cute…? Would they be sweet, affectionate with each other? We’ve seen Rauru be that way with Sonia, but my take on Ganondorf is that he’s spent so long lonely, his emotional needs left unseen for too long at crucial ages—ie, far far younger than he is now—that he has crusted over emotionally and has little capacity for joy or kindness that isn’t caught up in cruel domination. So a cute Ganondorf isn’t something I’m interested in in a canon-compliant capacity. I mused once, in response to another ask, about an AU scenario in which Rauru descends to the desert rather than central Hyrule first and he and Ganondorf are drawn to each other there, but my musing started and ended with that ask, and even if I were to continue in that vein, it wouldn’t be with the aim of writing a cute romance; it would be examining what kind of changes they would work on each other by meeting at a different time.

I hope I’m not coming off as too harsh, anon.

Some headcanons! oh this post is getting long—

I forget if I’ve said this anywhere but a crucial part of the dynamic between them is that Rauru is physically attracted to Ganondorf, to a debilitating extent, but Ganondorf’s attraction to Rauru is more to the thought of dominating him and having power over him. Sex is a way to enact this desire this while the kill-him-and-take-over-his-stupid-kingdom plan is still a work in progress, and honestly the chance to call him very dirty names and feel him react to that is at least as satisfying if not more so than intercourse itself.

In contrast—and I only noticed this recently—Ganondorf’s fantasies of killing Rauru are much more physical and visceral than Rauru’s of killing him are. Rauru’s fantasies of having Ganondorf executed are very hands-off; he has no interest in wielding the axe. What makes him shiver inside is the thought of his word, his officially sanctioned power, overpowering Ganondorf’s more physical strength. Fascinating!!

I have the headcanon that Zonai can’t get drunk, and in early drafts of what-wasn’t-ACNOC-yet, Rauru tells Ganondorf this—to a flash of indignant anger as though this is something Rauru hid from him, letting him think he could manipulate Rauru this way. In the fic series as it stands… I don’t think this has ever come up. After the second time they fucked it became less beneficial to Rauru to smugly share this fact with Ganondorf, because that means he’s making this obviously unwise decision completely sober.

Rauru is pansexual and dynamic-wise thought he leaned entirely submissive (this is how he is with Sonia, and with other partners they’ve had) until Ganondorf dropping to one knee in his formal audience set several new mental pathways on fire all at once. Ganondorf on the other hand is purely dominant—there is no part of him that desires to be submissive—and—ok—look it feels presumptuous to declare anything about Ganondorf considering I still feel like an interloper to LOZ fandom, but—as I’ve been writing him he’s either gay or his sexuality is so centered on domination that the way he is expected to interact with potential Gerudo brides does nothing for him. There’s something there that repulses him, drives him even further from connection with his people. And so his connection with Rauru is novel to him, something that’s genuinely scratching an itch he’s never had scratched before, albeit in a quite unwholesome way.

I’m sorry anon, I really do have nothing cute for you. There were moments when they almost connected, when they were almost two people who could have been friends. But after a split-second spark of empathy this only made them loathe each other more, for being someone who would inspire that want without ever really being what they wanted.

I legit came back to talk about OurSkyy MSP. There were many aspects of it that I loved and many more aspects of it that kind of disappointed me.

Things I loved

Firstly, I absolutely adored Music Club President Tinn. Gemini once again proves that his comedic timing is impeccable !!! He’s even more cuter and funnier as this universe’s Tinn. Adding on to that, we need to praise Gemini’s acting more. The range that Gemini has shown in all of the roles that he has played so far is praiseworthy and I wish ppl would praise his acting more tbh considering how good he is despite having the least acting experience compared to some of his co stars. Also, I never imagined that we would get a song like Love Love Love from Gemini. The song is so addicting and it’s already gone platinum in my bedroom. Gemini we need that full album 🥹🤟

Fourth my sweet child 🥺 was outstanding. It was refreshing to finally see Fourth in a role where he is rich and gay and not broke and gay (jkjk). High School president Gun was more mature than his counterpart in the OG universe and like even more openly smitten than ever. I’m sure he really enjoyed this role because he finally got to flirt with Gem to his heart’s content. He did really well with making this Gun distinct enough and yet familiar at the same time. And the scene where we hear his thoughts about Tinn on the first day of school is one of my favs (Gun is a bunny teeth Tinn enthusiast 😭🤟)

The Chemistry between Gemini and Fourth felt even better than ever. You could feel how much they were yearning for each other through their stares and bahviour. It felt almost tangible. Another thing I appreciated that even though the TinnGun in this universe are fundamentally different from their OG selves, they still retained some of their characteristics like Gun’s insecurity and Tinn’s characteristics of knowing and being sure of what he wants when it comes to his feelings for Gun.

Things that fell short

With msp having three couples, I understand the difficulty of having to balance everything but as someone who actually likes TinnGun more than any of the side couples, there just wasn’t enough of TinnGun interactions for me in the OS episodes. One of the things that made msp such a good show is the intimacy and interactions between Tinn and Gun as they got to know each other the further their relationship developed. While I understand, it can be hard to show the development of 12 ep show in 2 ep, we didn’t even get 10% of that intimacy and not enough of them talking to each other. While The hug and the handholding was nice, we didn’t even get a cheek kiss or a forehead kiss to make up for the lack of adequate interactions 😞 I was looking forward to seeing more of TG in our skyy but my expectations fell short.

The second ost mv took a chunk of the screen time that could have been better used to give a better Segway to uni students TinnGun but instead product placement was given priority. I actually like the mv a lot but this time could have been better used for a more complete story telling and the mv could have played in the credits similar to how it was for just being friendly mv or really just upload the mv separately on YouTube.

Lastly, the potential this scene had. The writers were definitely going ambitious putting in this scene for the Our Skyy episode and GeminiFourth delivered on the angst. This scene could have lived up to its potential if only it was given more time and depth but alas it fell short. It made me curious about how TinnGun we’re gonna come to terms with their feelings but because of the limited time and the interference of tiwpor, it felt like it was solved too quickly or like there wasn’t just enough time to digest all of it.

All in all, I just wish we had more of TinnGun. It felt really sad to say goodbye to such beloved characters on these terms 😔
