The Wind Breaker author put out a cute drawing with his characters and the Blue Lock ones! I love both series so I wanted to draw them as well ^^ Sakura also has the same VA as Reo, while Suo shares his with Nagi :D Both great pairs!!

this one epnagi page is my fucking magnum opus* of shipping (*im 99% sure im using this expression incorrectly but idc!!!!!!!)

i keep bringing it up bc there's both nagisagi and reokira crumbs in it (and considering how early kira is out of the story that's the whole fucking feast fueling my shipping lmao)

whenever i come across someone posting it or get a chance to bring it up i'm DELIGHTED. it has EVERYTHING

nagi looking at isagi first. reo calling kira "the tall, handsome one". reo knowing who kira is (ik he's kinda famous. idc)...... a whole fucking close-up panel dedicated to nagi just..... staring at isagi. and then saying "i don't care" when reo tries to redirect him to look at kira..... like suddenly he's paying attention to his game....?? sir where was that when u were too busy looking at isagi? i know what u are

im CHOMPING at these bits and IM EATING GOOD. idc idc i'm used to shipping rarepairs with even less canon interaction than this (or none at all) so having all this for reokira/kirareo, all in the same page with some nagisagi crumbs..... i WILL continue to be insufferable abt it forever. sorry not sorry

This double page and this big 1/3 page panel especially stood out as great candidates for the kind of still pictures that are meaningful to the story and leave a long lasting impression in viewers.

So why were they cut?
