I was watching Gotham!Jonathan's scenes, which I had actually never watched before tonight (fake Gotham fan 🫣), and I realized the way I've developed Hayden & Jonathan's relationship... the cycle of insanity, non-intentional mental abuse, Daddy's Boyism, possessiveness, dead mother issues, and the detrimental pursuit of science...
Jonathan would never subject Hayden to being his experimental guinea pig, but he still fucks him up severely. Unintentionally. 😮💨

Hayden is SUCH a Daddy's Boy, but that is largely because his dad (semi-accidentally) murdered his mom when he was 6, and Jonathan is also very possessive of and emotionally dependent on Hayden! 🙂🙃

So, I've decided that Jon & Hayden's relationship is... complicated. The more I've fleshed out Hayden and his backstory, the more it's become... Complicated. 😐
Hey, Scarecrow girlies, I have an OC named Hayden who is Jonathan's son, and I am wondering:
How do you think Jon would be as a father? How would he treat his son? How would he view him?
I don't know who Hayden's mother is, as I don't currently ship him with any women (I low-key ship him with Ed), but regardless, I think Jonathan probably murked her.
My main verse for Hayden is the Gotham verse, but also the Nolanverse because I love Cillian's JC. (And also general comics because why not? 🤷🏽♀️)
