Shane’s “okay” when he asked if Annabelle wanted to kill them and the flashlights turned off. That tone is the tone of a higher-ranking demon asking the lower-ranking demon a question and not getting the appropriate answer. Annabelle’s skatin on thin ice. Imagine your boss just uttered “okay” with that tone in response to something you just said in a meeting. Yep. Thin ice.
