john price, his wife, and... the dog (derogatory)
who: John Price x wife!reader
what: inspired by this thought about john price being an absolutely softie for his wife.
word count: 2.4k
warnings: mentions of cheating but it’s NOT TRUE! you’ll see… just fluff that reallyyyyy makes me want to marry this man.
It’s 2AM on a Saturday in the summer when John Price thinks he hears his wife cheating on him.
“Shhh!! You have to be quiet, you’ll wake up my husband.”
He opens his heavy eyes to see the TV paused at the end credits of some movie he can’t even remember the name of. The screen reflects in the crystal of the empty rocks glass on the coffee table next to his feet, holding only a warm whiskey stone.
He groans and stretches, his old t-shirt riding up to show a dark happy trail disappearing into low-waisted flannel pajama pants. He has one sock on with a hole in the toe. You told him to get rid of them and got him a pack of 20 of the same sock (he’s very particular about his socks), but he still wears these ones, anyway.
“Stop moving, I’m trying to concentrate here. Damn lock… can never— oh, shit. Heh. Wrong key.”
He can hear you muttering and giggling and the scratch of the key against the lock as you struggle to get it in.
It’s your girls’ night and he likes to wait up for you to make sure you get in safely. He saw you off around 8PM, pouring himself a glass of whiskey as you took a shot of tequila. You planted a big kiss on his cheek, leaving a red lipstick mark that he didn’t bother to fully wipe off.
“Sorry, I know you’re eager to get inside. I bet you’re so cold, all naked. Here, you can go in my dress, is that better? Fu—ow! Don’t bite my tit, Jesus! Sharp teeth…”
Price suddenly feels much more awake. He pushes himself up from the couch and starts to walk to the foyer.
“This damn door… ah! There we go.”
The door creaks open and he hears you tiptoe inside in your heels (wearing heels and tiptoeing—are two actions that are mutually exclusive, especially when you’re plastered).
“Remember, we have to be quiet. My husband waits for me to get home, we don’t want to wake him up. He’s very nice, you see, but he can’t know you’re here.”
Apparently, you have gotten home safely—with an extra guest who just bit at your tit. And you’re being louder than your guest, who you keep telling to be quiet.
“My husband is gonna be soooo mad. He’s gonna be so mad at me, but once he sees how cute you are, I think he’ll forgive me. He’ll understand. I had to. I just had to!”
He hears rustling as he gets closer to the foyer, you fumbling around in the dark.
“Stay there, don’t move, okay? Stay, yeah? You know that, don’t you? Mummy will teach you if not. Just stay right there. Lemme get these damn heels off…”
There’s an odd sound of something quickly clicking on hardwood floor that makes his eyebrows furrow, and then you gasp—
“Wait, don’t run—“
Bang!
You groan loudly.
Price flicks on the lights.
You’re lying face down on the rug. You have one heel on. The second heel is twisted around your other foot—what you fell over. Your little dress is flipped up over your ass and your arms are outstretched.
“You okay there, love?” John asks, torn between amusement and concern. You just groan. “Sounded like you fell pretty hard.”
“I tripped,” you say into the rug, sounding very sad.
“You hurt?” he asks. “Anything broken?”
You shake your head and curl up a little. “I’ll just sleep here.”
He laughs softly. “Come on, none of that.”
“It’s so comfortable. I’ll just—“
There’s that clicking sound again and he’s almost startled by the abruptness of your movement. You push yourself up with one arm, stretch the other out and fucking snatch the quick-moving little brown blob that’s moving toward you. You pull it to your chest and cradle it, shielding it from John’s view.
He blinks. “What you got there, love?” he asks after a second.
“Nothing,” you say innocently.
“Right.” He crosses his arms, looking you over. “Who were you talking to just now?”
“No one,” you say quickly. “Myself.”
“Right,” John says again slowly. “Show me what you have.”
You look over your shoulder up at him through your lashes, vision blurry. “No. You’re gonna be mad.”
“Just show me.”
“Promise you won’t be mad.”
He sighs. “I won’t be mad.” You give him a look. He sighs again. You’re wasted—he can tell by your eyes. They’re unfocused and heavy. “Promise. Now show me.”
You look down at whatever you’re holding to your chest. “Okay,” you whisper (to your tits?), “you need to be very well-behaved, okay? No biting, please. Be very nice for Daddy so he will like you, okay? Can you do that? Yes? Okay.”
You glance up at John again over your shoulder and then turn yourself around in a very clumsy movement. Then, as if presenting whatever it is like you’re Mufasa from the Lion King, you lift it up in the air toward your husband.
It’s a puppy.
It’s quiet.
The little dog wriggles in your hands, wagging his tail so hard his whole body shakes. He barks up at John, high pitched. A small pink tongue lolls out of his mouth.
It’s still quiet.
You lower the dog a little so you can look up at John. “You said you wouldn’t be mad!”
“I’m not mad,” John says, sounding mad.
“You look mad.”
“I’m not mad,” he says again. “It’s just… dirty.”
You gasp. “He’s not dirty!” you exclaim, sounding offended on behalf of the dog. You pull him to your chest. “He’s just a little mangey, you see. But that’s okay. It can be fixed. You know—they have medicine for that. Or lotion, or whatever it is. He’s very nice, John, I swear. I know he’s a little… skrunkly but he’s very cute and—ow! That’s my hair, no biting Mummy, please.”
“You’re already calling yourself his Mummy?” he asks, bemused, eyebrow raised at you. Yep. You’re fucking wasted.
“Yes, and you’re his Daddy.” You hold the dog up again, this time facing him toward you. “I think you’re very cute, puppy. You’ll grow on Daddy. Just be very good for him, you can do that, can’t you? Yes, you can.” You whisper, as if John isn’t standing right there, “We’ll wear him down. Don’t worry.”
“I thought it was something else,” Price says.
“What did you think it was?” you ask, not looking away from the dog.
“Where did you find it?” he asks instead of answering.
This is much better than what his traitorous mind momentarily supplied. You, cheating? As if.
How silly of him to even think that. For a moment, his stomach twists with the guilt of doubting you. He should have known better.
Of course it’s this. What else could it have been?
A puppy.
A puppy!
“Oh, hello, there.”
You crouch down in your dress and heels and hold out your hand to the little puppy emerging from the bushes by the side of the road.
“What are you doing here, all alone? Come here, love, I won’t hurt you. Come on, puppy, come to me. Yeahhh, there we go. Oh, look at you. You’re so cute. You’re all mangey, though. Oh,” you say pitifully, “you little baby.”
You’re drunk as fuck at 2AM on a Saturday in the summer, halfway through your walk home from the bar, squatting in the middle of a back road in England, about to cry while petting this puppy clumsily—but he doesn’t seem to mind. He wags his tail and nips at your fingers.
“Where’s your Mummy? You shouldn’t be out here all alone. No collar… oh, goodness, what should I do with you? I don’t want to leave you. I’m not sure what to do.”
He barks at you, high pitched.
You nod at him seriously. “Oh, yes, good point.” He barks again. “Mhm. Yes, yes. I thought so, too. Exactly right.”
He runs in a circle around you.
“What are you, a month? You should be with your Mum, you shouldn’t be all alone. Oh, you little baby, you must be so scared.” (He’s wagging his tail.)
“It’s so cold.” (It’s summer.)
“Maybe you can come home with me?” (Your husband would be so mad.)
“Yes,” you decide. “You’ll come home with me.” (Your husband is going to be so mad.)
That’s how you end up stumbling home with a puppy in your arms, rambling to him about yourself and your life.
“Well, puppy, my name is Mrs. Price. I’m from around here. I live in a nice three bedroom house with my husband, I think you’ll like it very much. It’s very cute. He let me decorate it. He doesn’t understand feng shui, you see. You should see his office, puppy, it’s so bland. No taste for interior design.”
“Our house is only 10 more minutes away. See that big tree there? That means we only have 10 minutes left until we’re home. I’m not great with street names, you see, so I go by landmarks.” He barks. “Yes, yes, you get it.”
“Anyway. So, I’m—stop wiggling please, Mummy’s going to drop you—I’m married to a very nice man named John. I love him very much. You’ll like him, too,” you tell him seriously, “he’s very likable. I like lots of things about him, puppy. Actually, I like everything about him.”
“He says I can’t have a dog, though. He says it’s for my own good—booooo. Boo! But maybe we can sneak you in. What do you think, puppy? Should we do that? I think we should do that. We’ll have to be very quiet, though. Very quiet.”
“John waits for me to get home safely—he’s so nice, he’s so kind to me, I love him sooooo much—but we have to make sure not to wake him up. This is one of them—uh, covert operations. He’s very well-versed in those. My husband is very talented, puppy, he’s a Captain. So we’ll have to be extra careful.”
And that’s how you end up trying to sneak into your own house and then trip over your shoe and fucking slam! your face on the rug.
“Where did you find it?” John asks you as you sit on the floor after you presented the dog to him.
“On the way home from the bar, kind of my that big tree.”
“By Notting Street?”
You furrow your eyebrows. “Notting Str—I dunno. Maybe? I just know the big tree. The one with all the branches.”
“‘The one with all the branches,’” he repeats, nodding slowly. “Right.”
“But he was there all alone so I took him home. I couldn’t leave him, John, he’s so little. And he’s very cute, look at his little ears? And his little feet? His toes are soooo small. His little teeth are sharp, though—like a shark. Fuckin’ hurt, he almost bit my tit off.”
“Yeah, I heard.”
“You heard? Oh. I was trying to be quiet. I didn’t want to wake you up.”
He smiles at you. “I know.”
You smile back.
“Give me the dog.”
You frown. “No.”
“The dog, please.”
“No.” You hold him tighter. “You’ll take him from me.”
“Well,” he says, “yes.”
You sigh heavily. “Be gentle.” You hand him to John and he takes him in one hand and holds him out, frowning, as if it’s offended him.
A puppy.
“Can we keep him?” you ask hopefully.
He glances at you and then back to the puppy and then back to you and then back to the puppy. “No.”
“Please?”
“No.”
“But…” You trail off and he looks back down at you. You’re starting to tear up.
“Oh—love, don’t cry.”
“He’s so little and soft and nice and he’s all mangey and he’s all alone and he’s just a little baby and…”
“Okay, okay, darling, we can keep him.”
(By that, he means you’ll talk about it tomorrow when you’re sober, and by ‘talk about it’, he means, ‘no.’)
“Really?!” you gasp.
The way your face fucking lights up makes John pause. For a second, he almost feels like he lost his balance.
“Oh, John, really? Oh, thank you so much! Puppy, did you hear that? Daddy said yes! See, he’s very nice, just like I told you, remember? He’s very nice and kind and he’s very handsome and I love him very much, and I—“
“The dog can’t understand you.”
“You don’t know that,” you say defensively.
He looks down at you. “Right.”
You stare up at him, standing over you as you sit on the floor. “How are you handsome even from this angle?” You frown deeper. “Stupid face,” you mutter.
“What was that?”
“Nothing.”
“Let’s get you up.”
“I’m so comfortable.”
“Hand.” He tucks the dog under his arm and extends his other hand toward you. He crooks his long, thick fingers at you. “Now.”
You look between his hand and his face, and then slip your hand into his. He fucking yanks you up and, in one movement that’s somehow graceful, bends down and throws you over his shoulder.
He, naturally, slaps your ass and you squeal. “Hey!!”
You kick your feet (still with only one heel on) and he laughs, resting his hand on your hip, heavy fingers digging into the plush of your butt, as he makes his way up the stairs with you on his shoulder and the dog in his hand.
Gently, he drops you onto the bed and you fall back with an oof! and stare up at him.
“Well,” Price drawls, “aren’t you a sight for sore eyes.”
You grin. “I missed you.”
“I missed you, too.” He takes off your shoe (singular), your dress, and your makeup as you hold the dog, curled up, on your chest.
“You’re so good to me, John,” you say, your eyes closed. “I’m so lucky. I don’t know how I got so lucky. And, you, puppy,” you mumble, petting him slowly, “you’re so lucky, too. You’re about to have the best Daddy in the world. He’s so good to us.”
“‘Puppy’ is asleep,” John says. “And,” he adds, scooping him up in one hand, “puppy is not sleeping in the bed.”
You just groan, too tired and drunk to argue.
He holds the dog out in the air again, turning him around and upside down to examine him. He yips and wriggles in his hands, but John shushes him. “Hush now. Your Mummy is asleep.” He shakes his head and sighs. “What am I going to do with you?”
He takes the dog to the bathroom and puts him down on the floor. His paws slip a little on the cold tile. John puts his hands on his hips, staring down at the dog. “I can’t believe this.”
He reaches over to turn on the heated floor (which he got installed for you) and says to the dog, “You are so, so damn lucky I love your Mummy.”
In the morning, despite John Price’s best efforts to say no to you, you end up convincing him to keep the dog. He’s a military Captain but the pleading of his wife is enough to make him crumble.
The happiness on your face when he finally says yes, makes him wonder why he ever said no in the first place.

under the mistletoe
kim minji x reader ; fluff
synopsis: your ex is going to be at your cousin's christmas party so you convince your super cute gorgeous amazing stupid idotic hot best friend to play girlfriend for the night--it should be fine, right? it's not like anything real will happen... right? right??
warnings: fake dating but there's like no angst bc they're too gay to be doing all that (i can't write angst idk) ; making out!!! HOORAY!!!!! ; nerd minji my lover ; they're so gay ; kinda fast paced ; anything else not mentioned ; not proofread!!!
a/n: wanted to get winter themed fics out for all three before christmas but that prob won't happen LOL anyways this idea has been marinating in my head forever, enjoy!!! oh, and merry christmas!!
“i hate jake.”
minji looks away from her phone, one eyebrow raised as she watches you sink into the cushion even further. this is the third time you’ve groaned dramatically in the last five minutes.
“…jake is your cousin.” she points out, dryly.
“and the worst person on earth.” you mutter, setting your phone down beside you. minji watches you lean over until you flop against her with a very questionable posture. “he’s forcing me to go to his stupid christmas party.”
“and this is a problem because…?”
“because,” you huff, sitting up straight again. “my ex will be there. probably just to annoy me.”
minji immediately makes a face, scrunching her nose in disgust. “ugh, gross… didn’t she dump you for ‘personal growth’ and in that same month started dating a man?”
“i fear.” you reply, crossing your arms. “her egos so big that she probably thinks i’m miserable over her. i got over her the moment i found out she was with a man! she thinks im some stupid, emotionally immature—ugh.“
minji rolls her eyes. “i can’t believe you dated her—for four months.”
“not my brightest time.”
“it baffles me,” minji begins, “i hated her, you know?”
“oh, i know.” you glance at her, failing to hide a small smile despite your frustration. “you were not subtle about it.”
“well i wasn’t trying to be,” she says flatly, setting her phone down and looking at you properly. you peel yourself off her shoulder, moving yourself over to lay flat on your back your couch with one leg over minji’s lap. “so, what’s your plan? you can’t just go and let her get under your skin.”
you let out a long sigh, rubbing your hands over your face. “i don’t know. maybe i just… won’t go.”
“that’s an option,” minji starts, poking at the gingerbread man on your pajama pants mindlessly. “but jake will never shut up if you skip.”
“i know,” you groan, running your hands further up to grip at your hair out of frustration. “what do i even do? show up alone and let her pity me? she’s going to think i’m a loser—a bigger loser than the one she already makes up in her head.”
“you could just… not show up? make an excuse?”
“jake is pretentious—he’ll know i’m bluffing.”
“send him a fake screenshot of the thermometer showing that you have a high fever?”
“no, he’ll know.”
minji sighs, tilting her head as she studies you. “so what’s your plan then? cry in the corner? accidentally spill juice on her—or even worse—on yourself and hide in the bathroom?”
“you’re so mean to me.” you huff, sitting up and leaning against the opposite side of the couch now. you stare at minji for a bit, she’s looking at you with raised brows and a curious expression that makes you sit up straighter. “oh my god, i have a plan.”
minji immediately looks suspicious. “what kind of plan?”
“it involves you.”
“absolutely not.”
“i didn’t even say anything yet!” you kick her thigh, making her push your foot away. “just listen. you play my girlfriend for the night,” you say proudly, grinning at her like it’s the most obvious solution in the world.
minji blinks. “what?”
“we date—not for real—for the party.”
she stares at you for a moment, then bursts out laughing. “you’re kidding me.”
“i’m not! think about it—it’s perfect. she’ll see me with you, someone way better than her, then she’ll get off my back, and i won’t have to spend the whole night dodging her.”
minji shakes her head, though there’s a faint flush creeping up her neck. “and why would i agree to this?”
“because you love me?” you say skeptically, giving her a stupid pout and your best attempt at puppy dog eyes. “please, minji. you just have to stick with me and pretend to like me and plus–you’ll get free food and drinks. please?”
minji hesitates, poking at the gingerbread man on your pants again, the same one right over your shin. you tear your leg away from her, expecting an answer. “i don’t know…” she mumbles.
“i’ll treat you to dinner.” you add, which makes minji shoot her head up.
“dinner?”
“whatever you want.” you promise.
minji sighs, letting her head fall back against the couch. “fine. but only because i can’t stand her either—and i kind of feel bad for you.”
you barely let her finish the sentence before launching yourself at her, wrapping her in a tight hug with your arms around her shoulders. you’ve pushed her down a bit, she’s holding your weight, and her senses are overwhelmed from the scent of vanilla that clouds you and the warmth radiating off of your body.
“thank you!” you exclaim, your voice heavy with relief.
her hands hover awkwardly in the air for a moment before resting lightly on your back. “you’re welcome?”
it’s only then that you realize how close you are—your face inches from hers, your breath brushing against her lips. you can feel her tense beneath you, her gaze flicking from your eyes to your mouth and back again. her lips part ever so slightly, and the light press of her hand on your back falters.
the air shifts, something growing heavier on you two, but before you can dwell on it too long, minji gently pushes you off with a nervous laugh.
“y-you were crushing me,” she says, her cheeks tinged pink as she sits back, putting some space between you. “are you that happy that i agreed?”
“yes,” you grin, unable to stop the warmth spreading through your chest. “you’re the best, seriously.”
“yeah, yeah,” she mutters, reaching for a pillow and chucking it at your head. “just don’t get used to it.”
you groan when the pillow hits you, grabbing it from her hands and leaping over to get her back. you two fight each other playfully on the couch, you even knock minji’s glasses off her nose. and through the bickering, your heart skips a little when she’s trapped one of your legs between both of hers, and you’re trying to defend yourself while pushing her off—hyperaware of the proximity.
maybe playing girlfriend for a bit won’t be too bad.
-
after getting dumped months ago, the first person you turned to was minji.
she didn’t hesitate. the moment she saw your glossy eyes, she pulled you into her arms, holding you close until you calmed down. that night, she didn’t hold back her thoughts about your awful ex, and you stayed over, letting her cook you breakfast the next morning.
you’ve always been good friends, spent a good amount of time together, but somehow, after that night your friendship felt different—deeper—after that.
since then, you’ve found comfort in each other, always finding reasons to be together thrown in with superficial insults. sometimes it’s quiet—her sitting on your couch while you fold laundry and hum along to something playing on your phone, or maybe it’s you at her place while she studies. even when she hates chores, minji pitches in without complaint, and you never question why.
then there are the little outings: a walk in the park, dropping off a package, or now: grocery shopping. it’s nothing extravagant, but somehow it always feels like enough. it’s always enough with her.
you and minji are strolling through the grocery store side by side. minji holds a small basket in her hand while you grab and toss random items in with little thought. she’s squinting at a list on her phone, her lips moving slightly as she mutters the items under her breath.
“i was thinking,” you begin, and minji looks up, quirking a brow.
“oh god.”
“you’re so mean to me.” you flick her shoulder before continuing. “if we’re going to be girlfriends, we need a solid backstory. something believable.”
minji grabs a jar of almond butter and tosses it in the basket. “you’re overthinking this.”
“no, i’m not. what if someone asks us how we got together? we need a solid story,” you argue, “and i know jake is going to be interrogating me as soon as i introduce you—or at least curious, maybe.”
minji sighs. “fine. how about… we were hanging out, just the two of us, and suddenly we just fell in love or something. we confessed while watching a romance film, maybe?”
“wow,” you giggle, “that’s so original. super romantic.”
“it’s simple and probably believable,” she says defensively, nudging you with her finger.
“it’s corny.” you tease, turning and stepping into the next aisle. “how about this: we were at a concert and locked eyes and—”
“that’s even worse.” minji groans, covering her face with her hand.
“i didn’t even finish!”
“exactly. it sounds like hyein made that up.” she snickers, “i can’t believe she’s also your cousin.”
“one cousin that probably won’t make it to the party,” you sigh in relief, “she’d blow the whole plan, knowing how we are.”
“what?” minji questions, curious as to what ‘we are’ is. before she can ask, you cut her thoughts off.
“we’ll go with your idea i guess. but we also have to spend lots of time together, more than we usually do, and we kind of just have to make it believable.”
“that’s nothing.”
“well i can’t really trust you on that, minji. you’re not the brightest.”
you two continue to bicker and poke at this whole ‘fake dating’ ordeal. as you head out to the checkout line, loading your items onto the conveyor belt, an elderly lady in front of you turns around, her eyes twinkling as she smiles warmly.
“you two make such a lovely couple,” she says, her voice kind. “you compliment each other so well.”
both of you freeze for a moment, caught completely off guard. you glance at minji, whose ears have turned a noticeable shade of red, and you can’t help but grin.
“uh, thank you.” minji mumbles, suddenly very interested in organizing the groceries.
you don’t correct the woman, instead leaning slightly closer to minji and whispering, “see? it’s already working.”
minji rolls her eyes and shoves you lightly with her shoulder, unable to hide her flustered expression. it’s different than her usual, calm demeanor, and you like it. it’s cute.
you laugh, nudging her back. “you’re kind of cute when you’re like that.”
“what?” minji asks, a lump forming in her throat. “you’re so… you’re so annoying.”
—
countdown: two weeks until the party
you’re doing your best not to think about having to drive almost forty-minutes south for jake’s stupid party at his stupid (-ly nice) house. instead, you’re at your usual cafe spot with hanni, danielle, and minji. the conversation is casual, filling the air, along with the occasional hiss of the espresso machine.
you’re mid-rant, your hands gesturing animatedly as you lean forward. “i’m just saying, if you’re going to take a lit class, at least try to understand the material. this guy skims a few pages of virginia woolf and pretends he’s a ‘feminist.’ he’s doing the absolute most to appeal to women—half that class is gay!”
“which guy was this again? there’s too many men you hate on.” hanni asks playfully, sipping on her latte.
“heeseung. oh my god,” you huff, leaning back in your chair. “he’s so fake. he’ll throw out random quotes that barely connect to what we’re discussing, and the worst part? half the class buys it because he’s loud and confident. he doesn’t actually care about the themes or depth of anything. all heeseung does is show up to class, dress like some girls ‘dream man’ pinterest board, and plays pretend.”
danielle glances up with a small frown. “that’s frustrating. especially since you actually like the material.”
“exactly!” you say, stirring your straw around for no reason at all. “and don’t even get me started on how he turns every discussion into some weird way to hit on the girls in class. like, ‘oh, you’re so insightful. you must be really in touch with your emotions.’ oh my god i can’t stand straight men. i can’t stand people who enable them.”
minji chuckles quietly into her drink. the sound draws your attention, and for some reason, when your eyes meet hers, the air between you shifts. her gaze softens slightly, her lips quirking upward in a way that makes you stare a bit.
“he probably thinks he’s all that.” minji remarks, her voice steady but her gaze soft.
you falter for half a second, your rant losing steam. it’s not just the way she’s looking at you—it’s the way your chest tightens like someone tying a knot and tugging. it’s unexpected, and the way minji smiles down at her cup makes you feel all tingly inside. that’s odd. more than odd.
“yeah, exactly.” you quickly look away, ignoring whatever is making you do a double take. “he’s so one-dimensional, self-absorbed, and i hate him.”
minji bites back another smile, trying to keep her focus on her drink instead of the way you light up when you rant. she likes the way you talk, the furrow of your brows, the passion in your tone. she knows it’s a little dangerous, this quiet admiration she can’t seem to shake, the same admiration she pushed down your first semester. she’s gotten too good at keeping it to herself to lose now, and why now anyway?
hanni nudges you with her elbow. “at least he’s giving you plenty of material for complaints. maybe you could analyze him for an essay.”
you laugh, the sound warm and genuine.
minji’s stomach does a little flip—she wishes it wouldn’t.
“i’d seem like a fan,” you reply, shaking your head. “i’d rather focus on something—or someone—that actually matters.”
the words hang in the air for a second longer than intended, and your eyes dart back to minji’s. it’s fleeting, but there it is again—the strange flutter, like time paused just enough for something to stir.
minji looks away quickly, busying herself by looking out the window, and you clear your throat, turning your attention back to hanni and danielle.
the moment passes, but the undercurrent lingers. neither of you speak on it.
—
countdown: nine days until the party
minji’s apartment is chaos, but the adorable kind. her two-year-old nephew is currently standing on the couch, holding a stuffed dinosaur in one hand and a juice box in the other, refusing to eat the carrot sticks minji had cut up for him.
“you’ll like it if you just try it,” minji sighs, sitting in front of him. he’s sitting on the couch, towering over her because of the level difference. it’s almost comical.
he shakes his head, lying flat on his back and ignoring her.
you lean against the kitchen counter, biting back a grin as minji sighs dramatically and pinches the bridge of her nose. “you’re lucky you’re so cute,” she mutters, and you can’t help but giggle at the sight of her bickering with a child. she pinches his cheek and adds, “otherwise i’d be less lenient, you troublemaker.”
“he’s kind of like you. stubborn… and cute.” you tease, muttering the last part to yourself. you pull out your phone to snap a picture, minji whirling around a moment too late after you capture the scene.
“aw, i’ve got to make this my wallpaper.” you laugh, walking over and sitting down next to her.
minji rolls her eyes, shoving you lightly. “is this for our ‘fake dating’ thing?”
you hadn’t thought about that; in fact, you forgot about it for a brief moment. “oh,” you begin, looking at her with a strange confusion in your heart. “well, no. i thought it was a cute… candid moment.”
“whatever.” she grumbles, but her lips twitch into a reluctant smile as she returns to negotiating with her nephew. “but send me that, please.”
…
lunchtime comes with fewer arguments, mostly because minji bribes the toddler with nuggets. the three of you end up at a cozy cafe, not too far from the one you frequent with your friends. the kid is perched in a high chair between you and minji, eating happily.
minji is effortlessly charming, coaxing him to eat some of the carrots she brought with her and laughing at the attempts of sentences that he babbles. her eyes crinkle at the corners in a way that makes your heart feel a little too full.
you snap another picture when she’s not looking—minji leaning over to wipe ketchup off the kid’s cheek, her expression soft and so full of care it marks your chest ache.
“why are you smiling like an idiot?” she asks, catching you mid-photo.
“no reason,” you lie, slipping your phone into your pocket with a small, secret grin.
…
back at minji’s apartment, the liveliness dies down and reaches something still, something quieter. her nephew gets tired from the walking that occurred after lunch, so when you’re all back home he’s tucked under minji’s arm, clutching his dinosaur.
minji’s in a crewneck and grey sweatpants with two braids resting against the pillow her head is on, loose strands fraying out. she reaches over to drape the blanket over the two of them, and you watch from the door frame as you lean on it.
her eyes close from exhaustion, and that’s when you quietly grab the polaroid sitting on her shelf. it’s a spontaneous decision, but perfect for the moment. you turn it on, smile at the two, and press click. the flash catches you off guard, you’re afraid to wake them—but neither of them budge.
the photo prints out slowly, and once it’s fully spewed out you shake it in your hand so it can develop. it takes a moment to develop, but once it does, the smile on your face grows and stretches from ear to ear: minji’s face is relaxed, peaceful, and her nephew eunwoo is nestled against her with a similar expression. you slide the polaroid into the back of your phone case—just because.
as you turn to leave, minji stirs, her eyes fluttering open just enough to see you.
“stay,” she murmurs, her voice laced with sleep.
“minji,” you start, but she shifts a bit, making room for you while keeping eunwoo comfy. she pats an empty space beside her and grins tiredly.
“just for a little while,” she whispers, her eyes already closing again. “please?”
it’s the ‘please’ that does it. you hesitate only for a moment before stepping closer, your heart beating so loudly that if makes you wonder if she can hear it. climbing into the bed next to her, the mattress dips as you settle, minji instinctively drapes an arm over you, and it feels just right. the warmth of her so close is almost too much, but its perfect in a way you can’t bring yourself to think about twice.
you’ve always been fine with being touchy when it came to minji—lingering on the couch together, playful shoves, nudges, and maybe a limb or two resting on one another—but now? it’s much different. it’s easy to close your eyes and let yourself fall when she’s so close.
…
you wake up to the light outside fading, the room covered with the remnants of the sun shining through the window. minji is still beside you, her face turned toward yours, her breathing slow and even. her nephew is a small weight against her other side, pressed against her with the way her hand is angled and still clutching his dinosaur.
minji’s eyes flutter open just barely, and she looks at you like she’s still dreaming. there’s something unsaid in the way she gazes at you, something quiet and tender and a little overwhelming.
you don’t say anything, and neither does she. but the more the silence stretches on and with each slow blink she gives you while her lips form into another small smile—you realize you don’t want the moment to end.
she’s close, warm, and comfy—that’s minji. you realize it then as the sun continues to set, as your breaths are the only sound filling the room, and as minji absentmindedly strokes her thumb against your shoulder repeatedly that you wouldn’t mind being her real girlfriend. not if it meant being this close to her whenever you wanted and getting to love her on a different level.
the thought doesn’t scare you. it doesn’t feel rushed or strange or anything too overwhelming. it just is. the thought simply lingers in the air.
she shifts slightly, her arm moving over to rest on your back before pushing you closer to her. she lets out a content sigh as a full smile takes over. your heart flutters, and you smile back, just as soft.
eunwoo stirs, a little groan wakes both you and minji up a bit more. his voice breaks the moment as he mumbles something incoherent, and you see his little hand reaching over and squishing minji’s cheek in the process, even messing her braid up a bit more. you laugh at the sight and minji turns to him, brushing his hair back gently.
“time to wake up,” she murmurs lowly. “your mom might show up soon.”
the three of you wake up slowly, with minji being the first one to rub her eyes and sit up first. before she tends to her nephew, she glances at you with a strange new feeling in her eyes and it makes you think that maybe she feels the same way. maybe she wouldn’t mind if the agreement could stretch to new years and further. maybe she wouldn’t mind if it weren’t fake.
—
countdown: five days until the party.
minji stays near your side as you navigate the packed clothing store with her, hanni, and danielle. there’s a variety of t-shirts that you stop by so you can skim through, dresses that hanni and danielle consider buying for their sisters, and assortments of accessories that you all try on together, snapping pictures to add to your favorites folder.
“this is hideous,” you mutter, holding up a sweater that resembles a traffic cone but ten times more saturated.
“you should try it on,” minji insists with a smirk, already holding a ridiculous blazer with sequins lining it. “with this too. your ex won’t know what hit her, maybe the light will reflect off you and she’ll—”
“you think you’re so funny,” you narrow your eyes at her. “i can’t be the only one stealing the spotlight with my… hazardous outfit, can i? as my girlfriend you have to compliment me.” you grab the most outrageous pieces you can find—a neon, yellow turtleneck and pants that are somehow both plaid as they are glittery—then shove them into minji’s arms.
“so you want to play like that?” she grins, darting off to find something even worse.
hanni and danielle stand off to the side, watching the chaos unfold as you and minji start handing each other more and more ridiculous items for each other to try while giggling like middle schoolers. hanni’s shaking her head, her lips twitching into a smile. “they’re like an actual couple.”
“they really are.” danielle agrees, watching minji as she holds up a pair of fuzzy reindeer slippers and waves them at you like she’s found gold.
“you’re going to look amazing in these,” minji says, basically cackling.
“you’re going to look even better, babe,” you retort, putting a dramatically large hat on top of her head.
the entire store can probably hear you two laughing like idiots as you head into the dressing rooms, but neither of you care. and when you both step out, dressed head to toe in the most absurd clothing, hanni is the first to burst out laughing, immediately pulling her phone out and documenting everything. danielle hides her face behind her hands, trying not to laugh but failing miserably.
minji steps out and winks at you. she’s clad in an oversized t-shirt that says “elf of the year” and the glitter, plaid hybrid pants you handed to her. she looks like an absolute idiot, and you figure this might be the moment you really fall for her.
“you look so stupid.” you laugh at her with an amused look on your face.
“you know,” hanni says between giggles, “if you two show up to the party like this, you’ll definitely convince everyone you’re together.”
danielle nods, her cheeks pink from laughter. “you’re already convincing enough.”
minji glances at you, her smile softening just a little. “maybe we’re overthinking the outfits,” she teases, but there’s something in her eyes that lingers longer than it should.
you shake it off. “maybe.” you say, your tone playful as you walk back into the dressing room.
“you’d still look good in that, though. you do now.” she replies, but her voice is quieter, as if she only wanted you to hear it.
instead of letting yourself get flustered, you roll your eyes and step inside the changing room, looking in the mirror to see a faint blush on your cheeks.
—
countdown: <24 hours
you’re curled up on the couch with minji since both of you have been much more comfortable with being this close. a movie plays in the background, her arm is wrapped around you, and a blanket covers your legs that tangle together. the movie is something light and easy—your pick, though you can’t seem to focus on the plot.
minji feels your leg tapping up and down subtly against her, notices your tongue poking at your cheek, and the way your fingers fidget with one another. she’s aware of everything, of course she is. she’s sitting close enough that you feel her shift toward you, her presence grounding but not enough to fully settle your nerves.
“you’re doing that thing again.” she says.
“what thing?” you mumble, avoiding her gaze.
“the thing where you’re silently spiraling, fidgeting, freaking out—the latter.” she says simply, turning to look at you. “what’s on your mind?”
you sigh, pausing the tap of your leg and fidgeting and everything else. you run a hand through your hair before letting your upper body go limp against the cushion of your couch and minji’s forearm. “the party… i feel like it’s going to go bad or something. my ex, she’s… she’s so unbearable and extra! she’s only invited because she’s friends with jake’s girlfriend and ugh i don’t even know if this whole plan is going to work out because she knows you and—”
“hey,” minji cuts you off gently, and before you can protest, she reaches out and places her hand on yours. her touch is warm, her thumbs brushing over your knuckles before she boldly moves her hand over to your face now, cupping your cheek. “it’ll be fine,” she assures, and her voice is so steady that you almost believe her.
you blink, your breath catches, then shivers when you breathe out as best as you can. she’s looking at you with her pretty brown eyes through the frames that make her look like a huge nerd while simultaneously the cutest person as well and—
“minji…” you start, her name leaving your lips before your brain can process it. your stomach is doing something stupid and fluttery, the tension crackles between you like wood in a fire, keeping you two in place, pulling you closer.
you flinch at the sound of the abrupt buzz of your phone beside you. it snaps the moment in two, making you glance away from her as reality takes over again. she pulls her hand back slowly, resting them back on your hand instead.
she leans back and lightly mumbles, “you should get that,” her voice quieter than before.
you reach for your phone, your chest tight and your mind racing as you answer it.
it’s jake. of course it’s jake. his voice on the other end barely registers, something about ‘you’re coming, right?’ and ‘don’t bail on me!” followed by a stupid chuckle. your thoughts are still stuck on minji, and you’re wondering if the tension in the air weighed her down just as it did to you.
the call drags on, you glance at her from the corner of your eye. she’s staring at the screen, pretending to be absorbed in the movie, but her fingers fidget with the blanket. you can tell she’s just as thrown off as you are.
when you finally hang up, placing your phone back down beside you, minji looks over with a brow raised.
“jake,” you answer, even if she never asked anything. “he’s… yeah. just checking up on me.”
“right.” minji purses her lips.
you two sit awkwardly far from each other as the movie continues on, but eventually, you can’t take it anymore and return to your normal position. this time, your head rests on her shoulder comfortably, and your hands are intertwined. minji rubs her thumb against the back of your palm, and you think you could stay like this for hours.
–
countdown: finished!
minji parks the car and you take a deep breath in.
“relax, babe.” minji’s attempt at lightening the mood makes you smile softly. “we got this.”
“you sure?”
minji rolls her eyes, then takes your hand in hers as she does a rundown on your ‘relationship.’
“we’ve been friends for a while, i fell first but you’re the one who confessed first while we watched a romance movie—”
you cut her off, “and?”
“and after that we’ve been glued together by the hip. i know your likes and dislikes by default, um, our first date was… by the river? bike rides…?”
“you don’t sound certain.” you tease, “but you’re right.”
“whatever. and that’s it. everything else is just… our um, friendship.” minji’s voice dies down a bit when she says ‘friendship,’ the word articulates as if it were bitter on her tongue. “now let’s go.”
you and minji are side by side, her shoulder brushing against yours as you step through the door. music and scattered conversation are heard throughout the house, and you instinctively stick close to her. jake is the first to greet you, his grin wide as he pulls you into a quick hug.
“you made it!” he beams, then his eyes dart to minji. “and this is…?”
“this is minji,” you introduce, your tone casual while your thumb begins to scratch at your skin.
“minji,” jake repeats, a teasing edge creeping into his voice. “didn’t know you were dating anyone… you know she’s here— well, never mind that. guess we need some more time to catch up, huh?”
minji laughs softly, her hand lightly grazing your arm. “it’s a recent thing, few months.” she says firmly.
“yeah, kind of a surprise for us too. it happened out of nowhere, but i’m really happy.” you add with a shrug, trying to ignore the heat spreading up your neck. jake raises an eyebrow but doesn’t push further, to your surprise, and waves you both inside before giving minji a friendly side hug.
the party is more crowded than you expected, a mix of familiar faces and strangers scattered throughout the house. it’s not really a family gathering, not with the way jake’s friends have taken over the kitchen and living room. he’s always had a thing with turning events, even familial, social.
you and minji linger close, navigating through the small groups with an ease that surprises even you. every so often, while you’re greeting some mutual friends, you catch her glancing at you, a smile tugging at her lips and something in her eyes that you can’t decipher.
“when you said your cousin was inviting you to a holiday party… i expected it to be very formal and family-like.” minji murmurs as the two of you settle on the couch in the living room, plates of food balanced on your laps.
“he invites the cousins that are older and are on good terms with him.” you reply, rolling your eyes fondly. “he likes things like this. but hey, he’s fun, and he knows how to grill.”
minji laughs, nudging your leg lightly with hers. the sound is soft and warm, cutting through the background noise and settling somewhere deep in your heart.
as the two of you eat, you find yourself leaning into her presence without thinking. her knee bumps against yours and neither of you moves away.
“i’ll grab us some more soda,” you say after a while, setting your empty plate on the table and standing.
“don’t get lost,” she teases, her smile lingering as you head toward the kitchen.
you glance back once, catching the way she watches you leave. it’s subtle, but it’s enough to make you feel like she really adores you.
…
cold air hits your face as you dig past cans of beer and bottles of wine while you shuffle through the fridge. you finally spot the sodas in the back and grab two coke zero’s, but the condensation already makes your hands feel slick and damp. as you shut the door, you hear someone clear their throat.
turning, you come face to face with her. it’s like being hit with a wave you didn’t see coming, but at the same time you were preparing for it. now that it hits you, it’s really chilling. her hair is a little different, her smile just as sharp, and she seems as pretentious as before. you’re surprisingly able to stay calm.
“hey,” you greet sweetly, forcing a casualness into your voice that you don’t feel.
she tilts her head, a little smirk forming. “hey, it’s been a while.”
“it has,” you reply, gripping the sodas just a little tighter.
before the conversation can turn into something messier, a guy steps up beside her. tall, charming, and really just a face that resembles all the guys that she would compliment while you two were dating. “this is yeonjun, my boyfriend.” she says, her words are slow and deliberate like shes shoved a nail into your skin and twisted it.
you smile tightly, nodding at him. “nice to meet you, i’m an old friend of hers.”
the air is heavy, and you can tell she’s waiting for you to falter. your hands are damp now, the condensation dripping from the cokes, and you’re wondering how to get out of this.
someone answers your prayers. a warm hand settles on your waist, grounding you instantly when the familiar warmth is recognized. then, soft lips press to your temple. your heart stutters in surprise and your brain malfunctions momentarily. you turn your head slightly, catching the familiar scent of minji’s floral perfume before you can even see her.
“hey, love,” love? that’s a new one, but you can’t say that you hate it—especially when it comes out so naturally from minji.
she reaches over to take one of the sodas from your hand and when you glance back over to your ex—it looks like someone just slapped her. “minji?”
minji smiles politely, her hand still resting at your waist, tugging at your waistband not so subtly. “yeah, nice to see you again. i was wondering what was taking y/n so long, i was getting thirsty.” she gives you a soft glance as she chuckles.
you manage to recover quickly, leaning into her touch. her presence fuels your words, “i was just catching up,” you explain, gesturing toward your ex. “oh, right—you remember minji, don’t you?” you pause for just the right amount of time before looking at her lovingly, adding, “she’s my girlfriend now.”
your ex blinks, surprise evident in her expression. “oh. wow. i didn’t know… you two were—”
“yeah,” you interrupt, turning toward minji with a grin you don’t have to fake. you can’t remember the last time you faked anything with her, really. “she’s amazing. i’m glad we’re together, she’s lovely.”
minji rolls her eyes before moving her hand up to your shoulder, rubbing it lightly. “you’re doing that thing again.”
“what?” you question.
“being so fond,” she twirls a piece of your hair with her finger, “you’re too sweet to me.”
“because you’re my girlfriend, idiot.” you giggle right after that, and minji follows. “i’m not lying when i say all those things.”
minji smiles at you, something mellow and real in her eyes. you can tell she knows exactly what you’re thinking. her hand moves over to cup your cheek briefly before she uses it to open her can of soda. she glances back up at the pair in front of you, your ex and yeonjun, giving them an intimidating glare—directly mainly to your ex.
“we should get back, jake was asking about you.”
“was he? i guess we should…” you say, glancing at your ex one last time, her expression unreadable now. “it was nice seeing you again.”
minji steers you away, her presence steady and comforting as she leads you with her hand returning to your waist. you don’t miss the way your ex’s gaze lingers on the two of you, but that doesn’t cross your mind anymore. not when minji’s here, leaving you flustered and happier than you’ve ever been.
—
the living room is filled with laughter and conversation when you and minji step back inside. your cheeks are still warm from the cold air outside—or maybe from the conversation you just had, both of you had been reminiscing on how harsh minjis nephew eunwoo can be towards minji. her laugh lingers in your mind, and for a moment you almost forget where you are.
“there you two are!” jake’s voice cuts through the noise, and everyone turns toward you and minji as he gestures for you to join the group. “you’re just in time!”
but then you notice it—the small branch of green hanging above your heads: the mistletoe.
jake grins, wide and mischievous as if this were part of his plan. “looks like you two are under the mistletoe~” jake points out as if he’s a child.
the room quiets, and suddenly, every pair of eyes is on you and minji. your shoulders stiffen and minji’s hand brushes against yours.
you glance at her, and she’s already looking at you, her face flushed but calm. you’d stare for a moment longer, maybe tease her for how cute she looks, but you’re in the spotlight now. there’s something steady in her eyes, like she’s silently saying, it’s okay.
someone whistles, and the teasing murmers start, but they fade into the background when minji tilts her head slightly toward you, her voice low and gentle. “we don’t have to if you don’t want to.”
you shake your head, a small smile forming. “it’s fine,” you whisper back, “it’s just a kiss, right?”
she nods, her expression mirroring yours—reassuring, gentle, and maybe just a little nervous.
and then, without overthinking it, you both lean in. the kiss isn’t hurried or awkward—it’s soft and lingering, not too much but far from a quick peck. your hand brushes against her neck, and for a moment, everything kind of blurs except her.
when you pull back, the room erupts into cheers and coos of “aww,” but you barely hear them. your eyes are still locked on minji’s, her cheeks a shade of pink that you will definitely comment on later.
before you can process anything, her hand comes up to cup your cheek, her thumb brushing against your skin. she leans in again, this time pressing a brief, tender kiss to your lips. it’s a kiss that’s not influenced by the branch above you, a natural, instinctive kiss that makes your heart stop beating for a bit.
you both pull away, a silent realization settling between you. something’s changed. something you can’t quite name but can sense in her dilated pupils, slight bite of her lip, and bright smile.
“okay, okay, lovebirds. sorry about my cousin and her girlfriend,” jake jokes with a laugh, breaking the moment and taking all the attention off you two. “i just wanted to thank you all for coming.”
his words don’t process, in fact, you don’t really hear much of it because minji’s fingesr slip between yours, warm and steady. as jake continues talking, you glance down at your joined hands and then back at her.
you squeeze her hands lightly. the feeling is new, but it feels like it’s always been there. it feels good, it feels right.
…
once jake’s speech ends, you catch minji’s eye. there’s longing in her look, she’s asking a silent question and you have the answer. without a word, you grab her hand, weaving through the guests and slipping up the stairs unnoticed—they don’t know your cousin’s hosue like you do.
the hallway is dim, shadows playing on the walls as you pull her to a stop. before she can say anything, you turn, your hands finding her cheeks, and kiss her.
it’s different this time—no crowd and no stupid mistletoe hanging above. it’s just you two. you, and minji, with her lips are pressing against yours softly. she tastes sweet, warm, and familiar, and the way her hands rest under your jawline sends a shiver down your spine.
you pull her closer, hands moving down and pulling at the fabric of her shirt like you’re trying to stop yourself from losing your balance. her lips move against yours in harmony, in sync, and nothing else in the world matters except the two of you in that moment.
when you two finally break apart, you’re both breathing heavily—from kissing so much and from utter shock. minji’s eyes search for yours in the darkness, her lips parting slightly as she catches her breath. “come on,” she murmurs, tugging your hand gently.
she pulls you into a nearby room, and you barely manage to glance around before realizing who’s room it is.
“minji,” you whisper, stifling a laugh, “this is jake’s room.”
“i could care less,” she cuts you off with another kiss. her lips are insistent, and her hands find your waist again, drawing you closer. “when i kiss you, i just— i can’t help but want to kiss you more and more and more and more.”
her confession is punctuated by kisses–soft, desperate, and consuming. you melt into her, your hands threading through her hair as you let her guide you toward the bed.
she’s nearly on top of you, her legs on either side of yours with he lips trailing to your jaw, then back to your lips.
“i want to be your real girlfriend,” she whispers nervously. “i want to kiss you like this, be with you, everything.”
you pause, cupping her face in your hands as you pull back just enough to meet her eyes. she looks at you, eyes lidded and vulnerable. your heart swells.
“i want to be your real girlfriend too,” you confess, using your thumb to stroke her cheekbone. “i think this is the best present i’ll ever get.”
she giggles before closing the distance again—instant, radiant, eager— and you can feel her smiling against your lips.
“should i put a bow on myself and lay under the tree?” she says when she pulls back, but just enough so your lips ghost each other. “to seal the deal.”
“you’re impossible.” you laugh, digging your fingers deeper into her scalp before pecking her quickly. “we should take this to the car… jake will kill me.”
“i think we can settle for a few more kisses.”
“is there a mistletoe constantly hovering over you?”
“no…” minji mutters, “but maybe we could steal the mistletoe and make it happen.”
you roll your eyes at her, but regardless you close the distance once more. and just when you think she can’t be more of an idiot—she proves you wrong.
“and you still owe me dinner, by the way.”
“whatever,” you mumble in adoration, “it’s a date.”

You do what now?…
Various Transformers x human!reader
Summary: we spoke about us receiving aggressive affection, but what about us giving them the cuteness aggression
——————————————————————
Knockout definitely won’t let you even think about biting him. He just got polished. He’s going to make sure you don’t even get near him the second he sees that glint in your eye.
He was cuddling with you as he rambled on about his day. Moments like these brought him so much peace. But clearly, it seemed you had another definition of peace.
Your head lowered a bit towards his arm. He wouldn’t thought anything if not for the way you seemed to hesitate opening your mouth. Your lips were pursed and your full attention on his paint.
His own instincts acted before you, quickly pushing you away as he threw a tiny pillow on top of you and ran.
“Awww knockout ! I wasn’t even gonna do nothing !” He could hear your voice in the distance but he wasn’t taking any chances, knowing you were now in a game of hide-in-seek. If he wasn’t careful your small mouth would definitely bit him if he’s not aware.
Optimus would be surprised to say the least. Never once knowing humans did such a thing to others. Especially not their significant others. He’d probably ask the reason for your actions, mistaking it for an act of anger towards him.
One second he was holding you, the next he was looking down as you had your mouth on his digit.
He didn’t move. Just watching as you a bit him. The thing was, you weren’t chomping or taking many bites. You simply bit him once and didn’t let go. He didn’t feel you put pressure on the bit, so you weren’t attacking him.
Then what were you doing? you didn’t even look up when you let go. Perplexed he wondered why’d you grabbed his attention only for you to ignore him.
Maybe it was a way to show you were upset? But it didn’t make sense, when he called out to you about it you weren’t upset. It was an act,… of affection
Honestly he didn’t understand but it made you happy so he just let you continue on.
Bee would probably encourage your aggressive behavior towards him. Letting you run into him and start random play fights while ofc always letting you win.
Bee was just walking around base. He didn’t really have anything planned. He was about to head back towards his quarters when he heard fast steps behind him.
As he turned around, he saw that you had jumped off the shelf road set for humans. Your smile wides as launched straight for him.
Stretching towards you to catch your small body, you randomly pulled a pillow from nowhere and threw it straight to his face. He fell and you landed on him. Giving him a quick peck before taking off. Hearing your voice quite far yelling a quick, “Love ya babe !”
Still on the ground he just let a small beep that sounded a lot like a sigh. He was totally gonna get you back for this.
Soundwave is always dumbfounded by your impulses. Mainly since you act before thinking a lot of the times. Causing him to not being able to know your next move. And since your cuteness aggression is always spontaneous he never predicts it.
You were on his berth with him. While he was desperately trying to hold his mask onto his faceplate. It had broken during a battle and knockout had yet to be able to attend him. Thus leaving him in the sad state of holding it up wherever he went.
But he trusted you. And he was tired from holding it the whole day. Lowering his mask he hears a small gasp from you.
Feeling as a bunch of thoughts rush through you, he mainly notices your curiosity.
Lowering his face as he hands you his mask. You take it eagerly, your own eyes analyzing it and tracing every dent and detail.
But it wasn’t until he had his face in front of you he felt it change in your thoughts.
Your eyes no longer focusing on his mask, rather all your attention on his lower half of his face. At first he could feel all your thoughts, but now your mind was rushing so fast to the point he wasn’t sure if you were even thinking at all.
Noticing your breath pick a bit of pace, he wasn’t expecting you to launch his mask far from him. Your eyes wide as you rushed to reach him.
Still surprised from the loud noise of his mask crashing onto the floor, what brought his attention back was your small mouth on his. All your emotions pouring towards him, he honestly didn’t mind it a bit.
Now this was one impulse of yours he liked.
Starscream would surely love your attention. No matter how strange it is. He’d probably show off and brag about your actions to other decepticons. It would get to the point that the others think he’s making it up, mainly since most of them don’t think humans have cuteness aggression.
Funny thing is, recently you’ve been noticing a lot of things about your seeker. You hadn’t noticed before, but his wings tend to be very expressive.
Thanks to your request you were given a datapad that acted a lot as an ipad for a kid. You’re favorite feature was the camera settings. Thanks to being small no one noticed that you recorded a lot of things. Especially Starscream.
You had a bunch of videos and pics of him. Looking through them was definitely your favorite pastime.
As Starscream got closer he heard you speaking with lots of emotion. You were talking too fast and changing volume constantly that he couldn’t really understand what you were saying.
Peeking a bit he saw you watching something on the datapad he got you. You were laying down with your stomach to the surface as your feet kept swinging in the air. You were really focused on whatever you were watching.
He was going to continue watching you in silence until he heard you yell out, “Oh.My.God! Why is he soo hot !”
You were ogling someone and he didn’t like it one bit.
Barging in making his presence loud and clear, you turned quickly hiding the datapad. “oh heyy starscream. I hadn’t realized you were here.” Your voice laced with nerves he saw your face reddened as you tucked the pad deeper under the pillow.
Not responding he grabbed the datapad against your small protest, as he opened it up to see who exactly was winning your heart.
He wasn’t expecting to find an edit of him that you made.
Now you were both flustered.

Lol let me know if you want a specific character with this concept, it’s very fun

Jacked and Kind~João Fèlix
・❥・prompt list
・❥・masterlist -> part 2
・❥・who I write for
João was lounging on the couch, scrolling through his TikTok fyp when he suddenly burst out laughing. “amor, you need to see this”
She glanced over, eyebrow raised, as he showed jer a video of a couple participating in the trending challenge to Sabrina Carpenter’s song.
The boyfriend lifts his girlfriend onto his shoulder with ease, flexing his muscles and looking ridiculously proud.
“Oh, no,” she groaned, already sensing what was coming. “You’re not going to make me do that, are you?”
João’s eyes twinkled with mischief. “Oh, I’m absolutely going to make you do it. You’ve seen these arms, right?” He flexed dramatically, giving his bicep a quick squeeze.
She laughed, rolling her eyes. “Please, João. I’m not exactly lightweight, you know.”
“amor, I’m practically a superhero. I lift cars for fun.” He gave her a teasing look, clearly trying to be serious, but the way he said it made her giggle.
“Okay, Mr. Superhero,” she teased. “But if you drop me, I’m posting it to the internet, and you’ll never live it down.”
“I won’t drop you,” he said confidently, then added with a playful smirk, “But you’ll definitely post it, right? Gotta show off my muscles to the world.”
She raised an eyebrow, her arms crossed. “You’re such a child.”
“oh shut up” João replied , leaning in to press a soft kiss to her forehead. “Now, come on, let’s make this video. We’re gonna go viral.”
She sighed dramatically but gave in, standing up from the couch. “Fine, but if I break my back, I’m blaming you.”
“You’ll be fine, princesa. Just trust me,” João said with a wink. “You ready?”
She grabbed her phone, adding the song and preparing to film as he positioned himself. He flexed his arms one last time and gave her a wink. “Okay, on three. Hold on tight, and don’t look scared.”
She couldn’t help but laugh. “I’m not scared, just... cautious.”
“three...two...one” João counted with the TikTok counter
In one fluid motion, João crouched down, then lifted her effortlessly onto his broad shoulders.
She yelped in surprise at how quickly it happened, but João’s hand was already on her thigh, holding her steady, while the other arm flexed proudly in front of the camera.
“Whoa, you actually did it,” she said, half in shock, half in awe. She couldn’t stop smiling, though she was still a little unsure of the whole thing.
João looked up at her with that proud grin. “Told you, princesa. I’m jacked and kind. A perfect match for this trend.”
She couldn’t help but laugh, trying to keep her balance. “You look like you’re about to audition for a bodybuilding competition.”
He flashed her a teasing wink, flexing again for the camera. “All for you, meu amor. Look at these muscles. You’re lucky to have me.”
“Lucky? I’m more like terrified,” she joked, her grip tightening on his shoulders as he started moving around a bit.
“Oh, come on, you love it. Admit it,” he teased, giving her a wink. “The view from up here is pretty great, right?”
She smirked. “Well, I guess it is. But don’t get too cocky, okay?”
“Too late,” João said, his grin growing wider as he flexed once more. “This is how you do it, amor.”
“Okay, okay,” she laughed, rolling your eyes. “I’m impressed. Just put me down already the phone stopped filming ages ago.”
“you’re making me look good right now though.”
She laughed at his words before he gently lowered her back down, his hands sliding to her waist to steady her.
She stood there, grinning up at him. “Okay, I’ll admit it. You’re strong.”
He gave her a proud look, holding up his phone to check the video. “Told you! This is gonna get so many views.”
“You’re so full of yourself,” she teased, poking him in the chest.
“I’m full of you, meu amor,” João said with a wink, pulling her in for a kiss. “Now let’s post this before I start flexing again. Don’t want to break the internet with all this muscle.”
Dhe laughed against his lips. “Alright, alright. your fan girls are gonna love this video”
He pulled back, laughing at her words. “oh the edits will be amazing”
She smiled up at him, nodding head.
“Of course they'll be. your fans never miss”
João laughed, pulling her closer for another kiss. “I don't care about them. I just want everyone to know that I'm real boyfriend material”
She laughed at his words, leaning her head against his chest as they settled on the couch, their video long forgotten as they spent the rest of the evening in each other's arms.

hii!! i <3 ur fics, could u write one abt y/n finding out she's pregnant with her bf (hamzah) 's baby, and she tells him in some cute way and maybe with some fluff/smut?? i just feel like hamzah has such a breeder kink that he would love it😭
When the Time Is Right
Husband!Hamzah x f!reader
(A/N): lowkey proofread this (#ChristmasMiracles) I apologize, this is actually horrifically bad. One of the reasons why and honestly—it’s on me! I should’ve made a detailed request rules post! >_< but i hate anything that has to do with pregnancy—being pregnant—anything of that sort! I was really struggling with this and I tried to change it up to them trying for a baby after many failed attempts but… I still think this is HORRIBLE ;( I hope you find it in your heart to forgive me after taking so long to get back to you with a really shitty version of that you asked for </3
High-key angst, mentions of failed attempts of pregnancies, borderline smut but not really, still—MDNI!
wc: 1.3k
As awkward as it is to say out loud, you and Hamzah have been trying for a baby for some time now. And as much as it breaks your heart to see those pregnancy tests showing negative results, it hurts even more to witness the disappointment in Hamzah’s eyes.
You both try to mask your pain with hopeful smiles and encouraging words, but the silence that follows each failed attempt grows heavier. Hamzah, ever the optimist, often reassures you, saying, “It’ll happen when the time is right.” Yet, you’ve caught him more than once staring into the distance, lost in thought, his expression tinged with longing whenever the topic is brought up.
Today was no exception to your previous attempts, your husband sneaking beside you—your eyes meeting his, hesitantly. “What’s wrong?” He uses elbow to prop himself beside you, moving your hair away from your face with his other hand. It rested on your shoulder, messaging it a bit to help set some comfort for you.
“I’m…” you began, but the words stuck in your throat. Taking a deep breath, you tried again. “I know how badly you want this.” You looked away briefly, then added, “And I want it too.” You needed him to understand that this wasn’t something you felt pressured into—it was something you both deeply desired.
His face softened, his gaze full of understanding. “I know,” he said quietly. “We can try another day if you just want to sleep tonight.” His hand moved up and down your arm in soothing strokes before slipping down to intertwine his fingers with yours.
You shook your head. “No. It’s not that.”
“Then what is it?” he asked gently.
“I just don’t want you to be disappointed again.”
He snorted softly, a playful edge to his response. “You’re being ridiculous. Baby, I’m not disappointed.” You looked up at him, leaning into his chest, your lips pressing into a slight pout. “I see how sad you get. It makes me sad,” you whispered, your voice trembling with emotion.
Hamzah’s expression shifted, and he used the hand holding yours to guide it over his waist. Then he wrapped his arm around you, pulling you closer, cradling you against him as if to shield you from the weight of your own worries. “I’m not sad,” he said firmly, pressing a kiss to your forehead. “I told you before, it’ll happen at the right time.”
You hummed against his chest, the arm that wrapped around you moving up and down as his fingers ghostly ran across your back. You shivered, looking back up at your husband after hiding in his chest for a few minutes. He looked down—smiling at you. The gap between your lips closing, his smile felt against your lips.
He flipped you away from his body, hovering over you; his lips still attached to yours. Your hands slipping under his loose fitted shirt, feeling for his waist to pull him towards you. The way he kisses you alone shows you how much dedication he has for you. He sighs into the kiss, pulling away to take his shirt off. Taking the hint from your lingering hands.
You smile at him, the proud and excited smile on his face made you break into a fit of giggles. His index finger hooks the elastic band of your pajama shorts, pulling them away from you then letting it go so it’d snap back and hit your skin. Leaning down to kiss you again while his finger hooked your shorts off your legs.
A moan slipped out of your throat—sounding like a groan in pain, making him pull away to see what’s wrong. His lips were left plumper, eyes lidded—chest heaving. The sensual air thick around him, your heart skips a beat.
He raised his eyebrow, indicating his curiosity. “You okay?” He asked. Everything about this, his tone, his warmth, the energy around you. It could send you to sleep. Your hand reaches for his hip, moving upwards to caress his waist. “Yeah.” You cup his face, creasing his cheeks by rubbing your thumbs up and down.
Hamzah’s eyes wandered over your features, studying you intently, as if memorizing every detail of your expression. Slowly, his face leaned toward your right hand, his cheek pressing softly into your palm. His lips curved into a faint smile, and for a moment, the world outside your shared bubble seemed to disappear.
“You’re quiet,” he murmured, his tone inviting you to open up but never pushing. His hand slid up to cover yours on his cheek, his fingers warm and grounding. “You don’t have to keep everything inside, you know. Are you not feeling it?”
His words made your chest tighten, not in a painful way, but in that overwhelming way love and vulnerability often do. “I just don’t wanna let you down,” you admitted softly, your voice breaking slightly.
Hamzah shook his head, his smile faint as his hand squeezed yours gently. “You could never let me down,” he said firmly, his gaze locking with yours.
The way he looked at you made your heart flutter, a warmth spreading through your chest that both comforted and unsettled you. His fingers slid from your hand to your wrist, his touch light but intentional as he guided your hand down to rest against his chest. You could feel the steady rhythm of his heartbeat beneath your palm, grounding yet electrifying.
“Such a pretty girl. Pretty for me.” He murmured, his voice lower now, the edges softened by the intimacy of the moment. His other hand settled at your waist, his thumb tracing slow, deliberate circles that sent a ripple of heat through you.
You blinked, unable to form words, your breath catching as he leaned in closer. The faintest smile tugged at his lips before he tilted his head, brushing his nose against yours in a gesture so tender it made your pulse race.
“Hamzah…” you whispered, your voice barely audible, but it was enough to draw him in further.
His lips hovered over yours, teasingly close, his breath warm against your skin. “Tell me what you need,” he said softly, his tone a mix of care and something deeper, something that made your cheeks flush.
Your hand slid down his chest, fingers curling around the fabric of the hems of his shirt. That was all he needed to feel.
His lips met yours again, gently, with a hunger that had been building. His hand pressed beside your head to hold himself above you. The kiss was slow at first, unhurried and deliberate, as if he wanted to savor every moment. But as your fingers threaded through his hair, tugging him closer, his restraint began to waver.
The world around you blurred; the only thing that mattered was the way his touch ignited every nerve in your body, making you forget everything except him. Every issue you’d faced, every tear you've cried, every painful heart tug melted into an intoxicating sensation you couldn’t get enough of.
He hummed against your lips. His hand moved, slowly, from your waist to your knee, bending it upwards—spreading your leg away to settle in between them. A quiet gasp left your lips at his sudden change in manner. His hand slipped down from your knees to your thigh, settling past it on your hip. Squeezing as he pulled away.
His lips began to trail kisses on from your jaw to your neck, the way his breathing brushed against your skin made your heart feel warm, even in these situations where lust would be the only thing you’d want to feel, his love would wash down on you intensely.
Your arms around his neck, fingers playing with the ends of his hair. Enjoying the feeling of your husband’s sensual touch on you.

Imagine Getting Baby Fever with Crocodile
TW: talking about children in the beginning, breeding kink
~800 words, F!Reader
First part fluff, second part smut under the cut. I have nothing to say for myself. Send me to the horny dungeons.
~
“Aw, look at that little family,” you said quietly, watching a father play with his toddler on the playground. The mother was sitting in the shade, waving with a smile to the laughing baby while she sipped on a lemonade. The toddler’s short curls and chubby cheeks were so cute you just wanted to squish them between your hands. The baby ran to its mother, the husband chasing it playfully. Shortly thereafter, the trio left with each parent holding one of the toddler’s chubby hands, laughing at something or other the child had said. The sight warmed your heart and you yearned for something you'd always wanted but hadn't the courage to ask for. You were in the city center with your husband Sir Crocodile, enjoying sitting in the shade during a short break in his day. He, of course, was smoking a cigar and idly playing with the halter strap of your sundress with his hook. One wrong move and your top would fall, but then he never made wrong moves.
“Dear, have you ever thought about having children?” you asked quietly. Crocodile glanced at you out of the corner of his eye.
“Hm,” was all he replied to you. But not his disinterested hum, you'd learned enough to know that was him allowing you the space to talk without disagreeing outright. He puffed smoke out of his cigar, tipping the ash off with his hand to the pavement below.
“I just - we could try? If you don’t want to, I won’t ask again,” you said, testing the waters.
“Alright,” Sir Crocodile agreed easily, resuming playing with your dress.
“That’s it? I - I must admit I am surprised, Love. I thought you’d be harder to convince.”
“I’ve given the idea thought before. It has merit.”
“”I didn’t know you’d thought about it before,” you replied, your eyebrows hiked high. Crocodile shrugged before placing his hand across your back, cupping your neck with his hand. Pulling your head towards his large body, he kissed you gently on the temple.
“Before you, I didn’t think about marriage either,” was all Crocodile said before removing his hand from your neck. Standing up, he extended his hand towards you, giving you a life off the bench. He reached into his pocket for his Baby Den Den.
“Daz, please clear my schedule for the afternoon. I will be otherwise occupied,” he said, giving you a once over.
“Go eat a nutritious lunch, Tesoro. I will need a few minutes to prepare,” he said enigmatically, kissing your hand.
“I told you not to waste a single drop, and yet here you are, leaking all over me. What do you have to say for yourself?” Crocodile tutted at you, dragging the dull middle of his hook through the slit of your dripping pussy. You could feel the cold metal through your folds, gathering some of the copious come he’d already left there, making you shiver.
“I thought you wanted me to breed you but you waste my gifts. I suppose I’ll have to start all over again,” he said with a heavy sigh. In reality, you knew he wasn’t put out at all. Crocodile had been fucking you raw since the early afternoon and didn’t have any intention of stopping. You’d come more times than you could count, your pussy taking pounding after pounding. He treated each round like a separate event, often enjoying a cigar and scotch afterwards while you remained in position to better accept his cum inside you. He kept you well hydrated, taking the gag out of your mouth and giving you sips of water for as long as you needed. But as soon as you were done drinking, the gag went back in and Crocodile went back in you.
At the very beginning he had you in a mating press with your legs hiked high over his muscular arms.
“You want my seed? You want me to make you a mother?” he’d said, holding your legs in place with his bulky frame.
“I n-need it, I ah ah need it,” you’d mewled into him. He’d come shortly thereafter, using his fingers to fuck his come back into you as he stared at your messy pussy.
“This will never do, my Love. You’re spilling,” he tsked at you. Shortly thereafter, he’d manhandled you into a breeding stand. You weren’t sure if he’d had it made in the hour you were eating lunch or he had it prepared beforehand. The stand was simple in design, a metal frame keeping you positioned on all fours with an attached collar around your neck and another around your waist. Crocodile had thoughtfully placed it on top of a comfortable rug on the floor which kept your knees from hurting too much. The height of the neck collar kept you lowered onto your forearms and your ass high in the air.
He’d been fucking you ever since, filling your sopping pussy with load after load of his come. After each time he would examine your cunt to determine if you’d sufficiently kept his come inside. You had yet to pass his examinations. He often used a vibrator to tease you in between sessions, leaving you wanting until he determined it was time for the next round.
“You’ll need to learn this lesson a few more times today. And of course, we try again tomorrow,” Crocodile said, licking his hook.

Seungcheol is THAT type of boyfriend
This is my personal opinion and perspective. It may not accurately reflect their real-life personalities or behaviors.
The Protective Boyfriend™: Seungcheol is the guy who will hold your hand while crossing the street like you might just wander into traffic without him. It’s sweet until you realize he’s also glaring at everyone within a 10-foot radius for daring to breathe near you.
Seungcheol’s idea of helping you pick an outfit for date night is standing behind you, his hands on your waist, whispering in your ear, “This one’s nice… but it’d be nicer on the floor later.” Then he smirks like he didn’t just turn your brain into static.
Calls you "jagiya" so often it feels like a title you should put on your LinkedIn. But don’t let that fool you, he’ll pout harder than you if you don’t jagiya him back.
You’re trying to get up after a movie, but he pulls you back down, trapping you in his lap with one arm around your waist. “Where do you think you’re going?” he teases, his lips brushing your ear. “The credits haven’t even finished yet.” (the credits have been done for 10 minutes.)
He’ll put on his leader voice to scold you for skipping lunch, only to order your favorite food five minutes later and feed you the first bite because you’re too busy to take care of yourself.
This man right here is your personal radiator. Winter nights? Perfect. Summer? Good luck prying his arm off you because "you’re my pillow." (And he snores when he’s comfy, but you’d never admit you secretly love it.)
When you ask him if you’re bothering him by calling for the fifth time in an hour, he deadpans, “No, jagiya, I love being your 24/7 helpline. Shall I install a red phone like Batman?” But then he’s at your door in 15 minutes because he misses your face.
He loooooovessssss when you’re flustered, so he’ll accidentally brush his fingers along your collarbone while adjusting your necklace, all while holding eye contact. And when you stutter something about being ticklish, he just chuckles, “Oh? That’s good to know for later.”
If someone flirts with you, his smile gets tighter than his favorite jeans. He won’t say a word, but he’ll make sure to wrap an arm around you and loudly mention that his girlfriend loves this place.
He’ll kiss your forehead in public just to see you blush, then smirk like he just won a prize. “You’re cute when you’re flustered,” he’ll whisper, as if your face isn’t already bright red.
He’s not big on flashy displays, but when he kisses you, it’s deliberate, slow, and leaves you wondering how the world managed to keep spinning after that.
Seungcheol knows exactly what he’s doing when he leans in close, his voice dropping an octave to say something mundane like, “Pass the soy sauce, baby.” But the way his lips almost graze your neck? I'm sure that’s not about soy sauce, bro??? (did I just attempt to call him bro?)
He's the type of boyfriend who would die for you but pretends he’s chill. “Of course, I’ll help you move apartments,” he says, lifting all your furniture with a single grunt while you’re holding a throw pillow. “I’m totally fine. This is lightwork.” (I'm telling you, he’s not fine.)
SEVENTEEN is sick of hearing about how amazing, talented, and gorgeous you are but the sparkle in his eyes says he’s never shutting up about you.
Out of nowhere, he’ll text you, “You’re my favorite person.” No context. Just vibes. And when you ask about it later, he shrugs, “Felt like reminding you.”
Seungcheol isn’t just THAT type of boyfriend—he’s the blueprint, the standard, and the reason your expectations are now irreparably high.

salt lake crew made a private party for christmas, they (abby) invited you . . . ૮ ˶´ ᵕˋ ˶ა
you arrived in the middle of the year, rescued during an exclusive salt lake crew patrol that ended up escalating too quickly. it took you a while to adapt to the stadium, but you never stopped doing what was asked of you.
and someone didn't fail to notice this effort.
“ abby! ” manny shouts.
“ huh? ” she turns to him.
“ we need to get the decorations, what are you doing? ” he follows abby’s gaze.
she was looking at you, patiently cleaning the dishes in the refectory kitchen.
“ we should invite her. ”
he takes two steps back.
“ abigail, are you serious? mel already got mad that i wanted to invite my… uh, nevermind. you can try but don’t come crying to me after this, let’s go! ”
both go out to get the christmas decorations they had prepared for the party at the aquarium. as they walked, mel and owen appeared in their field of vision.
“ mel, found you! ” abby shouted. “ are you going to the kitchen?! ”
“ wow! yeah, calm down. i need to make the hot chocolate and finish the decoration of the cookies. ”
“ amazing! owen, help him! ”
the blonde escapes from the manny(ual) labor to start using her charms.
“ can we talk…? ”
“ you’re already speaking. ”
abby tries to match the velocity of mel's steps.
“ i was wondering if we could bring someone else to the party…? ”
“ not you too?! manny already tried to invite his gorgeous situationship and i— ”
“ it’s the girl we rescued. ”
“ oh! ” mel stops walking abruptly. “ cute pie? awwww of course we can invite her. ”
abby stops more confused.
“ i’m sorry? cute pie? ”
“ yeah! this girl is a living blessing. i can't think of another name as dedicated to diverse tasks as her. isaac kinda noticed her too, you know? he says we can’t let her in patrol as long as she wants, this stadium can’t loose her. ”
“ and how was i not aware that isaac talked about her…? ”
“ since you mentioned it, i've found you very airy since october, it seems like you're living in your own head. what happened? ”
“ is making the cookies already driving you crazy? be careful with the sugar, diabetic. ”
the blonde tries to change the topic by saying that and rushing to the kitchen.
“ hey… ahm, hi. do you need help? ”
you look at her, noticing the awkward behavior.
“ hi abby! no need, i’m already finishing. ”
mel arrives and says hi to you with a bright smile.
“ are you free today sweetie? ”
“ uhum, finished everything in the refectory. ”
“ great, abby wants to tell you something. ”
mel says, and walks away to make hot chocolate. you look at her with curious eyes, standing in a classy and relaxed position.
“ you know, since we rescued you, i mean… we are very glad to have you with us, specially me and the others… of course the rest of the stadium too but— ”
you wait patiently and a slight smile appears in your face. it’s kinda funny to see abby, this tough and big figure, for some reason all nervous while taking with you.
“ i want to invite you to our private party. that’s it, mel agreed too, and i think you don’t deserve to celebrate your first christmas here alone. not that the others would not include you! i mean— ”
“ yes! ” you chuckle looking at mel, she is smiling too. “ that’s so sweet of you… really, i appreciate that you’re thinking about me too. do i have to bring something? ”
“ NO! no! never… ” she shouts. “ sorry. i’m stressed about the organization. but no, you’re our special guest, you just have to be there and enjoy everything! ”
she quickly looks at mel, who was moving quickly around the kitchen.
“ sweetie, why don’t you go get ready? i will knock at your door when the party starts. ”
“ uhum! see y’all later! ”
you leave the kitchen not too bouncy like a rabbit, and calm like a cat.
“ you’re a disaster, abby anderson! ” mel bursts into laugh. “ i think i got all the answers i needed. ”
“ what do you mean?! ”
“ nothing! ” she chuckles. “ when the time comes, you will pick her at her door. don’t question it. go help the others, i want some time alone to make everything here. ”
mel can be scary and sullen at times, but she almost feels like someone watching a teen movie seeing the other younger members of the salt lake crew fall in love.
abby leaves the kitchen speechless.
“ this face… she didn’t let you, doesn’t she? ”
“ shut up manny… i invited her. ”
“ who? ” owen asks.
“ the girl we rescued months ago, abs seems addicted. ”
“ shut up! oh my goodness! how’s the decorations going after all?! ”
manny and owen share grin and a look.
“ it’s almost done, i already told the others to get ready. mel just have to bring the food and we can start. ”
they finish decorating the aquarium, finally! it's adorable: all the fake branches of leaves, the lights that never stop flashing, some carved reindeer and a christmas tree right in the center of the principal room. abby returns to her room and starts to get ready, some uncertainties appear.
should i do a better braid?
it’s already perfect.
what if i’m stinky and only i can’t notice?
her smell is like pine trees with a touch of cinnamon, thanks to her cologne and the perfum that she found in one of the patrols.
there was nothing wrong, actually.
abby was just nervous to talk to you more then five sentences.
and speaking of you…
you were doing the final steps of your makeup when door knocks can be heard.
“ i’m so sorry! mel mad— ”
abby pauses her speaking, and for a reason. in your months on the stadium, it’s the first time you put on a tight dress to go out.
“ nora found this one weeks ago, i just washed and it’s pretty to use again… ”
you notice the clearly smile, abby was genuine enchanted by you. her eyes were sparkling like snowflakes falling down.
“ you’re gorgeous… ” you blush hard.
“ thank you, abs! ”
abs…
SHE CALLED ME ABS !!!
“ you look gorgeous as always. ”
she notices your shaky hands and the way you were avoiding her gaze.
“ about mel, you were saying… ”
“ ah, right. she had to stay into the kitchen a little more, buts everything’s okay! ”
she pauses for a moment.
“ it’s pretty cold outside, they’re waiting for us in the drivers anyway but take this— ”
“ you’re too kind, the aquarium isn’t that fair. ”
“ hey! i insist, i don’t want you to get a cold. ”
she puts her jacket around you.
“ so cute. ” she says. “ i mean, you’re cute of course! but mor— ”
“ abigail anderson! ” leah shouts from the end of the corridor. “ you’re a fucking snail, let’s fucking go! ”
abby and you share a look giggling, and you two walk with leah to the driver in a awkward silence. everyone finally arrives the aquarium. mel already told everyone that you would be there and they’re being kind to you. as always.
“ hey, you hungry? ” you nod negativly. “ great, wanna see something cool? ”
you agree, abby asks you to close your eyes and she guides you to somewhere else in the aquarium you’ve never been before.
“ you can open. ”
it’s a secret little room, with candles, a mat all rounded with cushions. and a big window opened to the water. yeah, there’s life swimming there too.
“ sit down, please. ”
“ abby… you made this? ”
“ yes, i mean— manny and owen helped me some hours ago. can i… hold your hand? ”
if you remember, that’s literally the first time you’re touching abby. you two never had the opportunity to hug or anything else before.
“ oh, you’re warm! ” she chuckles.
“ and you’re kinda cold… are you okay? ” you ask genuinely concerned, abby’s just nervous.
“ i feel better now. i want to tell you something… you can slap my face and run away if you want, you’re in your rights. ”
pause.
“ since when we found you, all scared, hurt and hiding from the infecteds… i couldn’t stop thinking about you. when i saw your figure all fragile and hopeless like that, i felt a deep feeling to be the one protecting you. and when i noticed everyone being kind and respectful with you just in your first day here, i noticed something. your soul is the most pure thing ever… i don’t wanna sound like a stalker, but i was noticing you in everything you offered yourself to do! you’re perfect, and just in this month, the last of the year, i noticed that i’m genuinely falling in love. ”
what would you answer to that be? :D

2V1
In which you stand no chance against them.
Hal Jordan and Barry Allen
You were going to die. You were definitely going to die.
Writhing against the binds Hal constructed did little to let you escape Barry’s fervent mouth. You lost count on the number of orgasms the speedster ripped out of you, vibrating his tongue and fingers in a way that had you seeing stars. You’re not sure how a training session devolved into the two men trying to see how many orgasms they could wring out of you. This was not you intended your endurance training to go, but you couldn’t deny you were being pushed to your every limit.
Hal, using his ring, had kept you on the edge for what felt like hours, mercilessly teasing you with his fingers, forcibly keeping your body still with his constructs, the only thing you could do was cry and tremble. You nearly sobbed in relief when sweet Barry felt guilty enough to step in, kissing your thighs apologetically before pressing his mouth against your mound, eating you out like a men possessed. But now you were shaking and sobbing for a different reason as the man refused to even come out for air.
“You were so desperate earlier, begging to come, but now you want to tap out, sweetheart?” Hal crooned, watching you break again as he languidly strokes himself. “After Bar gives you exactly what you asked for?”
The man tsks mockingly as Barry nips at you, eliciting a yelp from you.
“Don’t focus on him, just let me take care of you, honey, I want you to feel good,” Barry murmurs, blue eyes gazing at you with a striking intensity as he moves up your body, peppering you with open mouthed kisses until he’s able to mouth at the pulse point on your neck.
Hal barks out a laugh, “You’ll spoil her like that.”
His suit dematerializes, revealing him in his full nude glory as he approaches your laid form with a smug smirk as you try not to gawk at his size.
“After all, you still owe us, don’t you, baby?”
Booster Gold and Ted Kord
Earlier you had insisted you could handle it. You were more than ready. Honestly, how hard could it be, you joked.
But as Ted began to slowly penetrate you from behind, you realize you might have bitten off more than you could chew.
Letting out a shaky moan, your head falls forward onto Booster’s shoulder, who nuzzles his cheek against your hair, “Just breathe, you’re doing so good.”
You can only whimper pathetically, panting at how overwhelmingly full you felt. You hear Ted groan into your ear, hands flexing against your hip.
“Almost there,” he grunts before letting out a hoarse laugh, “Might not last long with the way you’re gripping me.”
“‘Think that’s my line,” you mumble, keeping your face pressed against Micheal’s shoulder, before flinching away when you feel him twitch inside you.
“MJ!” You scold halfheartedly, keeping your eyes shut lest you finish embarrassingly quick.
“You’re both so hot,” he groans out, strands of blond hair sticking against his forehead.
Ted chokes out a laugh, sliding his hands up to grope your breasts, having finally bottomed out. “Let’s try not to make this into a fastest orgasm contest.”
“Don’t know if anyone is going to beat your record,” Booster teases you, kissing your forehead, as you try to shoot him a teary glare.
“Just shut up and move already—ah!” You are promptly cut off when Micheal sharply thrusts into you before laughing again.
“Don’t be in such a rush, we have all night to leave you in bed for the next week,” The blond hums, bringing a hand down to rub at your clit causing your breath to hitch.
“Besides, you look cute when you’re stuffed by our dicks…want to savour it, right Teddy?”
“Don’t worry, I won’t let him tease you…too much,” Ted whispers in a mock conspiratorial tone as his grip on your chest tightens.
Yes, you may have bitten off more than you could chew.
Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle
After dumping Bruce, you hadn’t expected another of his ex lovers to approach you nor did you expect for her to make advances towards you. But you count yourself grateful, knowing that the bat’s other lovers would have rather put a blade to your throat. And there was something undeniably alluring about her, something that left every one of her actions demanding your total attention.
And it was nice to talk shit about your mutual ex.
So, it wasn’t a surprise to when you found yourself drowning in her arms, every stroke and graze being devastatingly intentional, leaving you to completely submit to her whims. Not that you minded. What you did mind was when Bruce suddenly entered through your hotel room’s window while Selina had three fingers in you.
It was almost funny seeing the detective visibly stiffen in shock, seemingly out a loss for words, “I…I thought—“
“You know I don’t spend all my time stealing. Maybe you should spent more time out of that cowl too,” Selina smirks, still not removing herself out of you, only pressing more weight against your body when you squirm.
“Well, might as well stay for the show,” Selina jerks her head toward the armchair next to the window, “God knows you haven’t been getting any since you let this one go.”
You almost laugh at the woman’s boldness before she bends her fingers in a way that having you letting out a shaky moan.
“Eyes on me, sweet girl, let’s show the bat how a lady should be treated,” She purrs.
You quickly find yourself forgetting about Bruce until you hear the sound of his belt clinking and a quiet moan.
Huntress and Question
Honestly, you must have a penchant for attracting weirdos, you think, as you find your days consisting of a certain anti hero and conspiracy buff glued to your side.
Both were, without a doubt, nut cases; Helena, with her too knowing gaze and sharp tongue, and Vic’s muttering and faceless mask making the duo a bit odd in the eyes of others. But the two weren’t all bad. Helena always looked out for you, ready to come to your defence without question, even if it meant threatening people with her crossbow. Vic had a knack for remembering the most obscure details you’ve shared and always knew what you needed with just a glance.
Really, they weren’t as bad as people made them out to be.
However, you promptly withdraw any kind word you’ve said about the two of them when you’re left at their mercy.
You squirm against Vic’s lap, his grip on your naked waist unrelenting, as his erection presses against your rear as Helena tightly sucks your clit, ripping a strangled yelp from you. You’re sure you would have jumped out of Vic’s lap if not for his hold on you.
“Aww, you’re so cute, never had anyone lick this pretty pussy before?” Helena laughs before pressing her tongue against your folds as you let out a cry.
You feel Vic’s thankfully unmasked face nuzzle against your neck, “Based on her reactions and lack of any evidence of a former lover in my investigation—“
“Q!” You complain, feeling your face heat up before moaning when Helena slides a finger in you without warning.
“What have I said about names?” She scolds you with a twinkle in her eyes.
“A bit unfair considering you’re both still in costume,” you pant.
“I wouldn’t call my coat a ‘costume’—”
“Shut up, Q.”
Really, they weren’t that bad.
Yeah, wouldn’t be surprised if this was the first helenavic threesome fic LMAOO actually I will now take this as fact without verifying, it is my badge of honour…also I really put b in that chair lol…

It Would've Been Sweet...
...if it could've been me.
summary: there was no good reason for you to be in TD Garden during a Game 7 Stanley Cup Final Game. especially when the only connection you had to the sport was your ex-boyfriend Joel Edmundson, who you had left in St. Louis six months ago. but here you were. what were you doing here? a/n: hello friends! if you've been here since the inception of this blog, you might recognize this story. however, I no longer write for the original player that starred in this fic. but I am very proud of this fic plus, I think this was the start of my trademark bittersweet endings, so i couldn't just let it disappear. so, here is another rewrite now starring my favorite crop top king who i miss terribly. song inspo: The 1 by Taylor Swift word count: 8.8k warnings: time jumps [past is in italics], argument scene, language, angst with a bittersweet ending
What were you doing here?
That was the question running on loop through your mind as your eyes stay glued to the ice a few dozen feet below. There was absolutely no reason for you to step foot in this arena. There was no good reason why you shouldn’t be in your studio apartment on Newbury Street right now, curled up under your blankets, watching re-runs of bad reality TV.
When you received a text earlier that day from an old friend, asking if you had any plans, you knew what she was going to propose. You had seen the news. You had felt the energy go up in this east coast sports city. And you knew why your friend – a friend who you hadn’t seen since you moved 1,200 miles across the country – was in the city you now called home and had asked you to join her at this place on this night of all nights.
You knew all of this and could list all the reasons why you shouldn’t have responded; why you should’ve ghosted her like you had everyone else you left in St. Louis. But despite all that, you texted her back.
That was how you found yourself sitting in a clubhouse suite in TD Garden, trying desperately to only focus on the black and yellow jerseys of the Boston Bruins zipping around the ice.
Trying not to look over at the other end of the rink. Trying not to look at the white jerseys with blue and gold detailing. Trying not to scan the sea of players for the one person you should’ve forgotten by now.
Trying not to have your eyes land on the number six emblazoned on your ex-boyfriend’s back.
What were you doing here? You shouldn’t be here.
But we were something, don’t you think so?
“You shouldn’t be here.”
The unfamiliar voice sounding from behind you tears you out of the peace you were taking in the quiet kitchen, causing you to spin around. You were ready to tell whoever it was off, ready to confront the person who was so bold as to say where you did and did not belong. However, the face that greets you, the owner of the voice, is not what you expected.
His head of chestnut brown curls was messy, his stunning hazel eyes sparkling as they rake up and down your body and his lips, surrounded by a light scruff, were twisted up into a small smirk. He was cute. Like, really cute. It also didn’t hurt that he was clad in swim trunks and a t-shirt that was cut short, exposing his muscular midriff.
You tighten your hand around the beer bottle you were holding as you lean back against counter, your face shifting from annoyance to mirror his casual bright expression.
“And why is that?” you ask, taking a small sip.
“Because,” this stranger starts, “this is Dunner’s party. And the Dunner I know would have never invited someone so gorgeous to his house and without hanging over her shoulder the entire time.”
You let out a light laugh, the compliment not escaping your notice.
“Oh really? How do you even know I was invited by Vince? Maybe I snuck into my neighbor’s house in the hopes of meeting a hot single man. Maybe this is the first step in my evil plan to make a professional hockey player to fall madly in love with me.”
“And how is that working out for you?”
“You tell me.”
The man in front of you lets out a big laugh, causing a genuine smile to grace your face. You liked the sound of it, the sight of his head being thrown back, his smile so bright it almost blinded you. He looked back at you, the grin still on his lips.
You hold out your hand to him, giving this stranger your name as an introduction and hoping he sees your somewhat formal greeting as an awkward indication of your interest. He gladly takes your hand in his, shaking it gently as he gives you his name in return.
“Joel.”
You two stand there for a moment longer, simply looking at each other and you are trying not to focus on the warmth of his palm and the energy that seems to be flowing between you.
“So, why are you here?” he asks, dropping his hand from yours and you try not to let your face fall in disappointment at the loss of his touch.
“My friend invited me,” you say, gesturing towards the crowd of people in backyard. “What you said earlier – that Vince would be draped over some gorgeous girl – you are right about that. It’s just that my friend Daphne is who Vince is attached to.”
Joel hums and softly nods hid head in understanding. He walks a few steps until he is resting his body against the counter right next to you, his arm slightly brushing the bare skin of your own.
“Okay, so that’s the reason why you’re at this party. But, why are you here?” he asks, lightly gesturing around the empty room before glancing over to you. You sigh, looking out the large glass windows facing the backyard, watching the rest of the party mingle on the grass or splash in the pool, their laughter dancing on the late summer breeze. And here you were, hiding in the kitchen.
“I thought it would be fun. Not sure if I was right,” you explain, your hands going to fiddle with the loose corner of the beer label. “But Daphne is always trying to get me to go out with her.”
“Why don’t you?”
“It just really isn’t my scene. I did the whole party life thing in college and now, it’s just kind of lost its appeal.”
Joel lets out another hum, his eyes focused on you. He glances back at his teammates, acting loud and rambunctious as always. It was a lot to take in, he realized, especially if you weren’t exposed to it for over half the year like he was. He looks back at you, your fingers still fidgeting with the damp paper, your eyes far away.
You were beautiful. The thought was in Joel’s head before he could even process what it meant. And he knew instantly that he didn’t want to see you worried, that he wanted to see you smile again.
“So, you aren’t trying to get an attractive, wealthy hockey player to fall in love with you?”
You let out a laugh, your eyes connecting with his once again. The sparkle in his irises tells you he is joking with you, trying to make you feel comfortable. But there is also another emotion behind it. You can see it trying to swim to the surface, a desire that hadn’t been directed your way in a long time.
“Well, never say never,” you quip back. “Do you happen to know someone who would be willing to be infatuated with me?”
Joel tilts his head back, his hand going to stroke the facial hair on his chin, pretending to be deep in thought.
“There is this one guy…” he starts, trailing off to catch your reaction. You turn towards him, the playful smile still on your face.
“He plays on the same team as Dunner. He’s also defenseman as well, number 6. A decent hockey player. Funny, chill, and pretty good-looking, if I do say so myself.”
You hum in thought, your fingers tapping a small rhythm against the top of the marble island before nonchalantly shrugging your shoulders.
“He seems promising. Do you think he would like me?”
“Oh yeah, definitely,” Joel replies almost instantaneously, causing a small giggle to fall from your lips.
“Well then, point me in his direction!” you declare, catching Joel smiling at you out of the corner of your eye. “The next step would be to trip dramatically and fall into the pool, which will cause him to dive in after me to save my life. That is where our romance will begin!” you continue, throwing out your hands for additional affect.
“Or…” he says, gently grabbing your hand out of the air, his thumb brushing against the soft skin. “I could just give you his phone number. It might save you some time. And bodily harm.”
You smile, jolts of electricity racing through you from his touch.
“I suppose that works too.”
In my defense, I have none for digging up the grave another time.
“Hey, are you alright?”
You hear Daphne’s voice next to you and you finally tear your gaze away from the ice. She is staring at you, a hint of genuine concern in her eyes. The light-washed blue denim of her jacket stands out in the sea of black and gold and you spy the number 29 proudly displayed on her shoulder. Somehow, the sight of it makes you feel self-conscious that you’re only wearing an oversized grey sweater with a small Blues logo over the left breast. But then again, what else should you be wearing?
“Yeah, I’m fine,” you say, shaking your head, trying to erase the fantasy of you wearing a customized jacket out of your brain. “It just feels a little weird to be here, that’s all.”
Daphne turns to look around the box, all the other Better Halves excitedly talking and mingling. A few had come over to greet you, almost to welcome you back into the chosen sisterhood that developed between you all. But they knew it was only for one night.
Anyone could see how messed up this situation was; you coming to the biggest game of your ex-boyfriends’ career, hanging out with the ladies that you had grown close to in those six months you and Joel were together. Willingly placing yourself into this moment, as if nothing happened.
As if there was no break-up, as if you didn’t move halfway across the country and ghost all of them just to avoid anything that would remind you of his smile, his hazel eyes, his contagious laughter.
Daphne sighs as she returns her gaze to you, your chin resting in your upturned palm, your eyes now focused on the giant screen hanging above the ice.
“You didn’t have to come, you know. Not that I don’t want you here,” she quickly backtracks. “I’m so happy you’re here. I missed you. We all missed you, trust me. But, you know, if it gets to be too much, you don’t have to stay. Everyone would understand.”
“Why would I turn down the opportunity to see a Stanley Cup Final game? Especially a Game 7.”
Daphne looks at you, a disapproving glint in her eyes. She knows that you’re trying to make light of the situation, make it a joke, and ignore the real reason you said yes. She knows exactly what made you agree to come meet her after months, even if you weren’t ready to admit it to yourself. And it sure as hell wasn’t a free ticket.
She turns away from you, her eyes following your gaze to the now pristine and empty rink. The lights dim and the roar from the hometown crowd goes up. But the sound and the energy buzzing through the stadium wasn’t enough to stop you from hearing Daphne’s last spoken words.
“He would be happy to know you’re here.”
You look down at the ice as the players step out, now allowing yourself to find the one person that you refused to acknowledge since you stepped foot in the arena.
“I’m not so sure about that.”
And if you wanted me, you really should’ve shown.
He was late. Again.
You sigh, as you continue to pace around your kitchen, your heels clicking gently on the tile floor. It had been almost two hours since Joel was supposed to pick you up for a date. But instead of sitting in an upscale restaurant, drinking good wine and eating decadent meals, you were left waiting in your best dress, watching the hands on the clock circle.
Although, you weren’t sure why you were still waiting.
The reservations you two had were definitely cancelled by now and at this point in the night, it was too late to even think about doing anything other than lying in your bed, watching whatever was airing on The Game Show Network until you fell asleep.
But you stayed, hoping that your boyfriend would walk through the door. Because you were pissed. You wanted to make him feel guilty for leaving you stranded like this. It wasn’t healthy – you knew that – but you weren’t sure what else to do. Lately, it seemed like Joel was more interested in… well, anything that wasn’t you.
When you two first started dating, it was like something out of a cheesy rom-com. He was attentive and caring and you had honestly never felt more loved. But before you knew it, the fire between you two started to dwindle.
In the back of your mind, you knew it was coming. Everyone talked about the honeymoon phase and its inevitable end. You just weren’t prepared for it to end when it did.
It also didn’t help that that conclusion of that lavender haze just happened to coincide with the St. Louis Blues’ worst losing streak, landing them in last place, not just in the division or the conference, but within the entire league. And the playoffs were just over the horizon.
Glancing back at the clock, you sigh. You are ready to give up, call it quits and change back into your comfy old sweatpants when you hear the doorknob turn. Your boyfriend’s laughter echoes around your apartment, the voices of Colton and Robert also filling the quiet evening.
You exit the kitchen and walk into the living room, your eyes landing on Joel, his arms slung over Colton and Robert Bortuzzo’s shoulders respectively. He doesn’t notice you at first, his eyes focused down as he attempts to kick off his shoes. You cross your arms and clear your throat and it is that noise that brings his attention up to you.
“Babe!” he shouts, his face flushed and eyes hazy.
“Hey,” Colton greets you as he supports his teammate’s weight. “Sorry, he got drunk tonight. We tried to take him home but he insisted we bring him here.”
You let out a small hum, the anger boiling in your stomach as you take in Joel’s inebriated state. Instead of moving toward him, fawning over him or laughing at him like you normally would, your feet stay glued to the floor. Out of the corner of your eye, you see both Colton and Robert look you up and down, taking in your dress and heels. The tense atmosphere is palpable and not even Joel’s incoherent babbling can stop them from realizing that the drunken man between them had royally fucked up.
You let out a heavy sigh, gritting your teeth, your body sinking in defeat. This was not the situation that you had planned for the night and you had half a mind to throw him out. However, you were never the one to cause a scene and you weren’t about to get into it with Joel when he probably couldn’t even walk straight, let alone think straight.
“You can take him to the guest bedroom,” you say. “Down the hall to the left.”
You can almost feel the relief that came off in waves from Robert and Colton as they started to half walk, half drag Joel down the hall, you following close behind. Joel didn’t seem to understand anything happening around him until they guided him towards the guest bedroom and away from yours.
“Wait, where are we going?” he mumbled, trying to move his body back in the direction of your bedroom. “This isn’t the way to bed, guys. And I should know. I’ve been there a bunch of times.”
You fight back the urge to scream at Joel’s not-so-subtle innuendo, already feeling embarrassed about the situation he had put you in. Instead, you help shove him onto the mattress of the guest bed, watching as your boyfriend flounders against the covers. Joel tries to lift himself up but both Robert and Colton push him back. His eyes dart from his friends over to you, those hazel irises wide as he looks up at you like a neglected puppy dog. It takes all your effort to keep your icy demeanor.
“Babe, why can’t I sleep in your bed?”
“I don’t want you puking all over my sheets,” you say cooly, even though everyone else in the room knew the real reason why he was being banished to the guest bedroom. Joel doesn’t notice your coldness and instead shoots a goofy grin in your direction, his head hitting the pillow, curls flying wildly as he mumbles that he promises not to. You roll your eyes, having heard enough of his so-called promises in the past few weeks.
Robert clears his throat and you turn to him and Colton, awkwardly standing in the room next to you. You sigh, walking away from Joel and leading them out into the hallway and back to your front door.
“Thanks for getting him here safe boys,” you say, holding the door open for them as they walk over the threshold and out into the hallway.
“Of course,” Colton says, shooting you a sympathetic smile. You start to close the door but just before it shuts completely, you hear the small chirp that leaves Robert’s lips.
“Not sure how safe he’s going to be in there.”
You fasten the lock on your front door before you let your head fall forward, gently hitting your forehead against the wood, the anger still radiating from your tense body. Bortz doesn’t know how right he is. To say you are livid is the understatement of the year. You want nothing more than to tear Joel a new one but you know that doing that now would be pointless.
So instead, you take a few deep breaths in through your nose and out your mouth. Then you turn back into the kitchen and grab a glass, filling it with cold water from the Brita filter in your fridge. After grabbing the small case of Tylenol from your purse, you wander back to the guest bedroom.
Joel is curled up on the bed, still completely dressed except for the shoes that he managed to remove at your front door. You hate the way your heart softens as you take in his sleeping face, his lips slightly parted and his curls wild against the pillowcase. Moving over to the nightstand, you place the glass of water and aspirin down and move to leave when Joel reaches out and manages to grab your hand. You look down at him, his eyes now half opened and his thumb gently caressing the skin on your wrist.
“Come to bed,” he mumbles, slightly tugging you towards him. You gently remove your hand from his grasp and take a few steps back from him.
“Not tonight.”
You reach the threshold of the room, ready to leave when you hear Joel’s voice call your name and you turn your body, your eyes connecting with his.
“You look really pretty,” he murmurs.
Normally, a smile would tug at the corner of your lips in response to his compliment. But your face stays frozen in its apathy as you watch Joel’s eyes close once more. You are silent as you push yourself out the door and walk into the peace of your own bedroom. It isn’t until you are curled under the covers, your dress exchanged for pajamas and your face scrubbed free of makeup, do the tears finally start to fall.
In my defense, I have none for never leaving well enough alone.
Everything about this situation was stressing you out.
The hockey fan in you was stressed because you had just sat through 20 excruciating minutes of the Blues getting almost no time in the offensive zone and you practically screamed every time Jordan was forced to make a save.
The other part of you was stressed because you weren’t sure if you were allowed to be this worried about the boys.
It was still true that you cared about the team and wanted nothing more than for them to win this. You wanted to hug Devon and Dayna when Jay scored a goal that deflected off Ryan’s stick, getting the Blues on the board first. You wanted to scream and jump with Jayne when Alex scored in the last 10 seconds of the first period. And you definitely felt the thrum of pride run through you when Joel laid down in front of a shot by Sean Kuraly, potentially preventing a Bruins goal.
But it felt almost wrong to care this much.
The only reason you got into hockey was because of Joel. You learned the game for him, cheered for him, celebrated every win and mourned every loss. With him. And now, you were no longer his.
It wasn’t right for you to act like you were still a member of this group. Because you would just be lying to yourself. And it would just make it that much harder to leave.
You couldn’t let yourself fall into that comfortable complacency, pretending that everything was alright. That everything was different.
You know the greatest loves of all time are over now.
You woke up, your heart heavy and your eyes puffy. It took a moment to shake off the groggy haze that hung over you, to remember the reason why your heart felt like it had gone five rounds in a boxing ring, but eventually, the events of last night came flooding back to you.
The sound of the clock ticking on the wall. Your feet aching in your heels. Joel’s slurred words. The way his hand felt intwined in yours. Your tears falling onto the pillowcase.
You didn’t want to face him but he was in your apartment, sleeping a few doors down from you. There wasn’t no way to avoid the inevitable confrontation. With a huff of breath, you raise yourself from your bed, the sheets falling from your body, your bare feet connect with the cold hardwood floor.
You quietly open the door and walk down the hall, ignoring the urge to walk into the guest bedroom and check on Joel. Instead, you pad into your kitchen and start to make your morning cup of coffee. It is when you are standing in front of the machine watching your mug fill, do you feel a pair of arms wrap around your waist.
“Mornin’” you hear Joel mumble into your shoulder as his lips press against your bare skin. Every fiber of your body wants to melt into his embrace but you resist, choosing instead to shrug yourself out of his grasp. You take your mug from the machine and walk over to one of the stools at the end of your island, sitting down so your body faces him. You take a small sip, still not acknowledging Joel standing stunned in the place you left him.
“Babe?” His questioning voice causes you to look up and you can feel a flare of anger appear at the sight of his confused expression painted on his face. “Did I do something wrong?”
His ignorant question is the breaking point and you practically slam your mug onto the cold marble in front of you, some of the hot liquid sloshing over the side. Your eyes connect with his as the vindictive rage you had been holding in for almost twelve hours finally starts to pour out of you.
“Do you really have to ask that Joel?” you spit out, not even attempting to hide the pure venom in your voice. “Let’s start with the fact that last night, I spent almost two hours waiting for you in this goddamn kitchen. Do you remember why? It was because we had a date. You were supposed to pick me up and we were supposed to go out to that cute little bistro by the river.”
You see his eyes widen as he takes in the information, remembering the plans that the two of you had. His reaction makes your wrath feel righteous. Joel’s mouth opens as if to say something, perhaps an apology, but you cut him off before he can even utter a sound.
“And then, the moment I was about to call it quits, to give up and go to bed and call you in the morning, after trying to call you multiple times that night, what happens? You come stumbling into my house, practically being carried by Parayko and Bortuzzo. So, instead of spending a beautiful night with your girlfriend, you decided to what? Get drunk with your friends? And then insist that they bring you here so I can take care of you?”
“Babe I’m so sorry, I –” Joel starts to say but you stop him.
“I’m not your maid, or you mother, or your fucking side-chick, Joel. I’m your girlfriend. I am not some shiny thing that you can play with when you get bored and then toss to the side when something new catches your interest.”
You see his eyes darken at your words and Joel takes two long strides over to where you were sitting.
“What the fuck is that supposed to mean?” he grits out, now towering over you. In any other situation, you might shrink and back down, always the mediator. But this time, you are just too livid to care.
“What it means is if you want me, you need to start giving a shit about me. That means keeping your promises and showing up when I fucking ask you to.”
“I’m sorry, alright. Is that what you want to hear?” he says, his voice raising in frustration.
“I want to hear why you chose getting shit-faced with your friends over picking me up for the date we had planned for weeks.”
“Jesus, it slipped my mind. We were just hanging out and Bortz suggested we drink and it just got out of hand. We were all stressed about the team and it just seemed like the best thing to do. You understand that we are in last place!? If we don’t start winning games, we can kiss any chance of the playoffs goodbye. Part of my fucking job is to try and fix that, but I can’t do that when you are demanding all of my attention.”
Your mouth drops open, a scoff leaving your lips as your brain registers Joel’s accusation.
“Excuse me? I’m demanding all of your attention? I’m not the one who showed up drunk on the doorstep, begging to be coddled like a child.”
“Oh, get over it. I showed up, didn’t I? I remembered you. You know how many girls I could get, how many are lurking in my DM’s waiting for their chance. You’re lucky that even though I was drunk, I didn’t run to one of them. Although, maybe I should’ve. They would’ve taken care of me and they definitely wouldn’t be busting my balls right now.”
His words take you aback, cutting through you down to your core and you can feel the sting of tears in the corner of your eyes. Joel knew all your insecurities and here he was, using that knowledge to hurt you deeper than anyone else could.
“Get. The fuck. Out of my house,” you grit out, your chest heaving as you try to control your breathing. Your voice is quiet but hard as you stare down the man in front of you. Although you will for it not to happen, a tear escapes you, rolling down your cheek and you see Joel’s eye dart to it, the color draining from his face as he realizes what he’s said.
“Fuck, baby, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have said that. I didn’t mean it, I swear,” he babbles, dropping to his knees in front of you, reaching for your hands. You rip them away from his grasp and let the floodgates open. The tears flow freely now and the hurt that had settled in your sternum tickles up your throat.
“Don’t,” you whisper. “Don’t you dare imply that the girls in your DM’s care more about you than I do. They’re not the ones who make your pre-game meals and drive you to practice and let you rant about anything: trade rumors or ice times or bullshit calls. They don’t give a fuck about you, Joel. All they care about is your looks and the price tag attached to your name. But fine. If you want someone who’s only good for a night, someone who’s not going to tie you down and hold you accountable and challenge you while still caring about you and loving you… then we’re done. Now there’s nothing stopping you from getting what you want.”
You lift yourself off the stool and walk back towards your bedroom, leaving Joel kneeling on the floor. The door latches behind you and you wait. For what, you aren’t entirely sure. It’s only after you hear the echoing of the front door shutting, do your knees give out and you drop to the ground, your sobs racking through your now empty apartment.
That is where you stay until you have no tears left, your energy completely drained. You are sure your heart has broken into a million little pieces and if someone were to cut you open, the crimson flood would pulse out, staining everything around you. But the worst part would be that it would beat out to the rhythm of one phrase, the one phrase that you had never said to anyone else;
I love you. I love you. I love you.
And if my wishes came true, it would’ve been you.
You couldn’t do this.
Somehow you managed to sit through another period and every time Joel stepped out onto the ice, your eyes were glued to him. You watched as he continued to play his game, dumping pucks into the offensive zone, blocking shots, helping puck movement, setting up multiple opportunities for his teammates to score.
When you watched him on the ice, you understood why you fell for him. He was kind and unselfish. He wanted to help the team even if it didn’t mean any glory for him. That was the type of person he was.
And when the buzzer sounded signaling the end of the second period, you felt your heart reaching out to him as he exited down the tunnel towards the locker room.
You couldn’t do this.
You jump from your seat and push your way past the other Better Halves, out of the suite. It takes a while for you to find a semi-secluded staircase in the winding corridors of the club level but when you do, you sink onto the carpeted stairs, ready to hide for the rest of the game in your makeshift oasis. Your head falls into your upturned palms as you try to calm your breathing. You are so caught up your emotions that you don’t notice a body crouch down in front of you.
The soft call of your name bounces off the walls and you look up to lock eyes with Jayne Pietrangelo, a sympathetic expression painted on her face.
“I’m fine,” you say, trying to keep the tremble from your voice.
“Bullshit.”
The quiet conviction in her voice startles you at first but her steady gaze causes your walls to crumble. Before you can even blink, she has you wrapped in a hug, squeezing you tight as if she could make everything better by just holding you. You aren’t ashamed to say that is almost worked.
Jayne was one of the first people to welcome you into the group and you were pretty sure she thought that you and Joel were end game before that idea even crossed your mind. She became like a big sister to you and when you ended things with Joel, she was one of the few calls you picked up in the days after.
She lets you push your face into the denim jacket she was wearing as she gently strokes your hair. After you manage to compose yourself, she pulls back from you, forcing you to lock eyes with her.
“Tell me what’s wrong,” she softly demands and you almost let out a laugh at her demeanor. Alex’s captain tendencies must have rubbed off on her because here she was, ready to coach you through anything.
“I just can’t do this,” you sigh out, your head shaking as your eyes dart to the ceiling.
“Can’t do what?”
“Be here. Watch him. I don’t belong here anymore.”
“Do you want to leave?”
“Yes. No. I don’t know.”
All Jayne does is let out a small hum as she comes to sit next to you. You two stay there in quiet contemplation, your mind racing a mile a minute as you wait for her to say something, anything that will make you feel better.
“I’m not going to stop you from leaving, if that’s what you want to do,” Jayne says, her eyes sliding over to connect with yours. “But I think you are ignoring the real question. Instead of asking yourself if you’re allowed to be here or if you even want to be here, you need to understand why you’re here. Why did you decide to come to a place where you knew you were going to re-live some painful memories? You knew what you were walking into and yet you still came.”
She turns to you, her hands reaching out to grip yours as she stares at you, her eyes cutting you open and laying out your soul like the pages of an old book.
“So, tell me. Why are you here?”
Her question rattles around your brain as you search for the answer. The lies are easy to think of, ready to fall from your lips: it’s a Stanley Cup Final game, you didn’t have anything else to do, Daphne asked you to come, you wanted to see all the girls again.
But you knew the real reason you said yes; the real reason you found an old oversized Blues sweatshirt in the back of your closet that still smelled faintly of cologne, the real reason you walked to TD Garden after spending months trying to forget about anything that reminded you of St. Louis. And he was sitting in a locker room a few dozen feet below you, with only 20 minutes left in a game that most players dreamed about, hoping that he would be able to hoist the greatest trophy in sports.
“I wanted to be here for him. Win or lose,” you say, the words still a little unsteady after being locked in your heart for six months. You take a deep breath and let yourself continue, allowing the confession you had been denying every time it appeared in your head fall from your lips.
“Because I love him. I still love him.”
Jayne says nothing for a few moments, letting your words hang in the air before she shoots you a gentle smile.
“That’s enough of a reason for you to stay.”
She gets up, holding out her hand to you. Looking up at her, you allow yourself to smile, the first genuine grin flooding your face. You take her hand and let her lift you off the staircase and lead you back to the suite where the rest of your friends were waiting.
And if you never bleed, you’re never gonna grow.
You were a wreck since your fight with Joel. He had tried to call you multiple times but you let it go to voicemail every time. And as the days passed, the calls became less and less frequent until they stopped altogether.
A week later, you came home to find a small box sitting on your doorstep. Inside was all the things you had left at Joel’s place with a small note sitting on the top.
“I’m sorry.”
You had never cried more in your life than you did that evening.
After laying in your bed for hours on end, binge eating chocolate, and binge watching the same three TV shows, you finally decided it was time to stop wallowing in your sadness and try to move on. The next day, you cleared out everything in your house that reminded you of Joel and let yourself get lost in the effort of forgetting him.
It wasn’t easy.
You still sometimes woke up before the sun, your body telling you it was time to get Joel to practice. When you had a bad day, you found yourself making his favorite meal, as if his sadness had melded with yours. Whenever you turned on the news, you always managed to catch it in time to hear the sports section. You found yourself listening to how the Blues were winning again, pulling themselves out of last place and continually pushing themselves towards the playoffs. You resisted the urge to dial Joel’s number, still stored in your phone, and congratulate him after every win or console him after a loss.
As a distraction, you threw yourself into your work, getting tasks done at a breakneck speed and being more productive than you had ever been. You managed to have the best work quarter of your life and your reviews were through the roof. Although, you didn’t really take note of it because you weren’t trying to impress your boss or the company. You were simply trying to stop your mind from focusing on something else, like the feeling of freshly washed curls between your fingers and a smile that outshined the stars.
So, the day your boss called you into her office, the last thing you were expecting her was a promotion. And you certainly weren’t expecting to pack your things and move to Boston after accepting said promotion.
But part of you was relieved to be leaving. It would be much easier to forget about Joel in a city where most people didn’t even know his name. When you landed in Boston, you thought that this would be the place where everything you left behind would fade away.
And you were right. At least, for a few months.
You made new friends and went out to bars and brunches. You continued to work your ass off at your job, now working to prove yourself instead of just working to forget. You didn’t realize that Joel hadn’t even crossed your mind for a long time.
Then one night, when you were out dancing with friends, a handsome stranger pulled you into his lips. And it felt good. You felt free for the first time in a while, believing that your heart was finally mending after everything it had been through.
But that night, after you went home alone and crashed into your bed with your head pounding from the alcohol in your veins, you dreamt of Joel. Of him holding you tight and hearing his heartbeat pound in his chest.
You woke up the next day with the most exquisite ache in your chest and a desperate desire to be wrapped up in his arms once more. Then, when you were walking home from the grocery store that same day, you thought you saw him standing on the corner.
It wasn’t him, of course. But just the mere possibility of seeing him again had you almost dropping your bags onto the sidewalk and rushing into the arms of a complete stranger who just so happened to look like your ex-boyfriend.
That was the moment you knew you were fucked.
Soon, you found yourself turning on the TV, watching hockey games for the first time in months. And when the Bruins won the East and the Blues won the West, you realized that your two worlds were colliding. The world with Joel and the world after him were crashing together and you would be caught up in the carnage. But you were ready for it.
So, when you received a text message from Daphne, who you hadn’t spoken to since you left St. Louis, you answered it. And when she mentioned that Yana couldn’t make the games as she had just given birth to Vladi and hers second son, your heart waited for her to ask the question you hoped to hear. And when she asked if you wanted to come to Game 7 with her, the tug in your heart had made the decision long before you got the words out.
If one thing had been different, would everything be different today?
That was how you found yourself standing in the suite with all the other St. Louis Better Halves, watching as the final minutes of the final period counted down.
After Jayne pulled you back to the seats, you decided to let yourself go. No more holding back your emotions, no more resisting the feelings that had been churning inside you since you stepped foot in the arena. Instead, you screamed with the rest of the girls when Brayden scored another goal to put the Blues up three to nothing. You held breath, squeezing Daphne’s hand as you all watched Vince lead a three-man breakaway, silently praying for something good to come from that opportunity. And you jumped and hugged the girls when Zach scored a fourth goal with less than five minutes left.
And now, you were on your feet, one hand clasped in Daphne’s and the other clasped in Jayne’s, your heart pounding as you watched the clock on the scoreboard in front of you drop to seconds as the final minute of play began.
You could see the bench, the boys on their feet and as every second ticked by, they grew closer and closer to victory. Your eyes looked for Joel, wanting to memorize every minute of his reaction when the final buzzer sounded. It took you a little while to locate him in the crowd but once you did, your eyes never strayed from his body.
He was bouncing with excitement, the anticipation buzzing through him. You could see him slowly realize that this was going to happen, that he was going to be a Stanley Cup champion and when Jaden shoots the puck towards the blue line and it sails past Krejci, onto the other side of the rink, you watched him leap over the bench, throwing his gloves and stick into the air as he rushed to the goal, slamming into the pile of his teammates, all cheering because they finally, finally achieved what they had been working their whole life towards.
You almost collapse under the pure excitement rushing though you, the screams of the other girls echoing around the box and they celebrated. They were hugging and cheering but you kept your eyes on the ice, watching as the boys embraced each other. You felt tears welling in your eyes and it wasn’t until Jayne pulled you into a hug did you tear your focus away from the sweaty mop of curls.
“They did it!” she screamed and pulled you into a bone-crushing hug. You hugged her back and found yourself going around to the other girls, who celebrated with you like nothing had changed. Because nothing had changed. Just because you weren’t with Joel didn’t mean that these girls weren’t your friends. You had become a part of their lives and you were ready to celebrate with them for as long as they would have you. You hoped that would be a long time.
Daphne held you tight as the two of you jumped up and down, screaming incoherently at the fact that this did indeed happen. That Vince was a Stanley Cup Champion. That Joel was a Stanley Cup Champion. That the St. Louis Blues were Stanley Cup Champions.
All the girls turned their attention to the ice as the Conn Smythe trophy was presented and you swore that almost everyone jumped into Dayna’s arms when Ryan’s name was announced over the loudspeaker. It was a few moments until finally, the Stanley Cup was carried out onto the ice. You watched the boys, lined up, arms wrapped around each other as they took in the trophy that was finally theirs.
And when Alex skated forward and hoisted the Cup over his head, you cheered louder than you had in your entire life.
You watched as the Cup made its way down the lineup, passing between players, each one of them unable to contain their excitement and joy. Daphne pulled you close when Vince had his turn, lifting it above him and you could see the tears in her eyes as she watched the man she loved celebrate. And she held you next to her when Joel finally got his hands on the Cup.
The joy in your heart was indescribable as you watched him carry the 35-pound trophy, cheering and pressing kisses to the silver metal. It was exactly the moment you had wanted for him since you first started dating. It was what you dreamed about at every home game, his name and number proudly displayed on your back. It was what you had hoped for when you watched him on your television for the previous six games of the finals. And it was everything you had wished for ever since you walked into TD Garden almost two hours ago.
The girls were moving, picking up their things and heading out of the box, presumably to go down to the ice to congratulate their men on a hard-fought victory. A wave of doubt settled over you and you shifted your weight between your feet, unsure if you should, or were even allowed, to go down with them. It wasn’t until Daphne grabbed one hand and Jayne grabbed the other did you start to move.
You all make your way down the corridors, pushing past people and flashing your security passes. Your heart rate increases once you reach the end of the tunnel. The lights were still shining bright, causing the ice to blind you as you step onto the rink. The three of you carefully shuffle across the ice, the atmosphere still electric with the energy buzzing off the players and staff.
Jayne was the first to break away from your group, running towards Alex who was currently being interviewed. You see the reporter notice Jayne hurrying over and give Alex a nudge in her direction. His face instantly brightens the moment he sees her and he skates over, embracing her.
It wasn’t long before Vince spotted Daphne. As soon as his eyes land on her, he was rushing towards her and she dropped your hand to meet him halfway. You watch as he pulls her close to kiss her deeply, her hands tangling in his hair.
As happy as you were for all of them, both the players and your friends, their joy and intimacy left you feeling awkward as you stand alone in center ice. You weren’t exactly sure what you were supposed to be doing, if anything. While the girls welcomed you with open arms, you weren’t that close to the other players or staff. Most of them hadn’t seen you since you ended things with Joel.
It was when you caught the eye of Colton Parayko did you really feel like a deer in headlights.
Colton’s eyes flicker behind you, looking for Joel, wondering if he had seen you. Glancing back at you, he stood there a moment longer, taking you in. Then, that familiar crooked smile broke out on his face and the breath you didn’t know you had been holding rushed out of you. You mirrored his grin, your body relaxing as he gave you a small wave. You laughed and returned his gesture before he skated away, going to celebrate with his family.
His quiet reassurance was all you needed to feel certain that you were meant to be here.
You slowly spin, finally taking in the joy surrounding you, letting it soak into your skin. You watch Vladi sit on the edge of the rink as he calls Yana, see Laila walking over to Colton and see him wrap her into a giant hug, look over towards Patty lifting his son Anthony onto his shoulders, still shouting and pumping his fists in the air.
You were so caught up in enjoying the moment that you didn’t notice a pair of eyes attach to your frame. It wasn’t until you completed your circle did your gaze fall on Joel, his gaze already locked on you.
A towel was slung around his neck, the Stanley Cup Championship hat perched on his head. And he was staring at you as if he had seen a ghost. You were sure you looked the same way.
You both stand there, a few feet away, simply drinking in the sight of seeing one another in person for the first time in months.
You feel your heart swell as you take him in, the joy still emulating from his body. Words couldn’t describe how happy you were for him. Even if he was no longer a part of your life, you were happy to see him succeed. You wanted him to know that.
Part of you would always love him, that much you were certain of. But part of you knew that maybe you two just weren’t meant to be. And for the first time, that thought didn’t send a jolt of pain straight to your chest. Instead, you felt the warm wave of acceptance wash over you.
You let a small smile dance onto your face, connecting your eyes with his and silently sending all the care and admiration you had for him across the ice. And when you looked into his hazel eyes, the ones that you missed waking up to every morning, you let only one thought reverberate within your mind:
I love you.
And when he smiled back, his eyes sparkling like they always did, you knew that he was thinking the same thing.
But it would’ve been fun, if you would’ve been the one.
You had never felt happier than you did in this moment. The sky was a perfect blue above you, the sun shining on your bare skin, its light refracting off the soft waves on the lake.
You lean back, your feet gently kick in the water off the end of the boat and your eyes close as you let the peaceful contentment soak into your bones. You feel a form settle behind you, a pair of arms coming to wrap around your waist and pull you close. Eyes opening, you glance back to see Joel, a light sun-kissed hue now dusting his nose and cheekbones. A soft smile makes its way onto your lips, causing him to grin back at you.
“Hey pretty lady.”
“Hi,” you softly whisper out.
“What are you doing back here?” he asks, pulling you even closer, his chin coming to rest on your shoulder. You lean your head against him, taking a deep breath.
“Nothing. Just relaxing.”
Joel just hums in reply, letting the silence return as your bodies press against each other, simply supporting the other’s weight and taking in the moment.
When Joel mentioned his captain’s idea of taking a couple of boats out to Lincoln Lake with the team and their better halves for some bonding and relaxing before the season started and the hectic schedule pushed everyone in different directions, you had to admit you were unsure whether you should go. You had only just started dating Joel. But as soon as you made it out onto the water, you found yourself laughing with the other girls, as if you had known each other forever.
“I’m happy you decided to come,” you hear Joel mumble. And when you glance back, you can see the pure love pouring from his hazel irises. You let yourself lift your head up towards him, connecting your lips to his. You can smell the sunscreen on his skin, taste the rosé on his lips. Your fingers tangle into his sun-bleached curls, and in that moment, you realized that you never wanted to let him go. You pull away from him, your lips still gently upturned as you bring your eyes back to his.
“Of course I came. Where else would I be?”

These light touches
Warning: This is a tickle fic. If you don’t feel comfortable with this kind of fiction, I’d recommend you don’t read it
lee: jisung
ler: bangchan
It was a normal day. Chan and Jisung had a wired autocomplete interview in a few hours and they were getting ready. Doing their makeup, wearing clothes that fit the HOP aesthetic and then left for the studio.
Once they arrived they sat down and chatted a little with the staff. Jisung turns to his hyung and expresses an issue he has.
“Hyung” he said, “I’m a little nervous. Do you mind us practicing English a little?”. Bangchan felt like he’d just been hit by a wave full of cuteness. He pets his first kid’s head and says “Of course, Jisungie. What kind of question is that?”, he says as he tickled his chin. Han lifted his head once the ticklish sensation took over his skin and let out a smile. “You really are sensitive to light touches, aren’t you?”, Han’s cheeks now had a beautiful pink colour, and the best part? It wasn’t his makeup. He was indeed sensitive and too shy that his weakness was known to every of his members.
The interview started not long after that and they reached the point of the questions that go like “Which is Han’s/Bangchan’s…”
It was Bangchan’s turn to hold the template. He rips off the last sticker which was hiding the following question: “Which is Bangchan’s weakness?”.
“Oohhh,” said Chan, giggling nervously. He wasn’t too open about his weaknesses, just like every person. “I think this is something Han should reveal.”.
Han looks at him and starts giggling mischievously. He looks at the camera and says “When we don’t pay attention to him. He sits in a corner alone and pouts.”
Although he didn’t say anything false and although Chan was proud of his English, that didn’t mean that the oldest felt exposed.
Moving on, it was Jisung’s turn. The first question was the same as Chan’s last. Han holding the template he rips off the sticker and reads, “Which is Han’s weakness?”, now he was a nervous blushing mess. He even felt a little helpless. He knew however that his hyung wouldn’t say anything that’d be too private. “Would you like to answer, hyung?”, he said, his (nervous) smile not leaving his face.
“Of course! We were actually talking about this before the interview started.”. Han was confused, he was trying to remember what they’d said, until he realised what it was.
“So, Han’s weakness is light touches. He can’t stand them, they tickle him sooo much.”, said, tickling lightly his neck, resulting Jisung letting out a small squeal and grabbing his hyung’s hand “DO NOT” he said, in his British-like accent. Chan laughed it off and they continued the interview.
Once it finished, they thanked everyone and got in the car to go back. Sitting next to each other, chatting, laughing etc., Chan suddenly pokes Jisung’s sides.
“AH! No no no, don’t start.”, Jisung said, smiling nervously. Everyone knows his ticklish he is, Chan knows that also. Better than anyone else. “Why not Jisungie? Are you ticklish?”, he says playfully. Han looks at him confused at his question. Did they live in a different dorm? Were they in different groups? Didn’t he an hour or so ago say himself that Jisung was indeed ticklish?
“Chan-hyung, are you okay? Of course I am, just like you”, he stated, trying to remind his hyung that even if he got him now, Han would get him back later.
“I know I’m ticklish, Han. Too much if you ask, but that doesn’t make you less ticklish, you know. I might be reaaally ticklish, but, man, you’re ticklish as HELL.”. He wasn’t wrong, he also knew exactly what he was doing. He wanted to make Han feel vulnerable so the tickles he’d receive later on would have a stronger effect.
Jisung was now blushing, he knew everything Chan had just said was true, whether he liked it or not. “Stop it. I know. You are not any better though.”, he said, trying to get himself out of the trap he felt he was in.
“Actually I am. I know, I’m ticklish everywhere, but not at the same level as you. Where do you even want me to start? You neck? Your armpits? Your ribs? Your sides? Or your feet? And it goes without being said that you already feel ticklish at these spots, just by me mentioning them.” It was true.
“Hyung…”, he could see it in Chan’s eyes, he was about to get tickled and there was nothing he could do about it. He was too tired after all, he wouldn’t be able to fight it for long. After a certain point, he’d just have to bare it and let it happen.
Chan made an attempt to tickle Han’s belly. Jisung grabbed them both before he could touch him “Don’t” he said. He was smiling however and, even if he wanted to seem scary, he wasn’t able to. Chan made it out of Han’s grip and tickled him anyways. Han just felt his hyung’s fingers all over his stomach, being already sensitive, and fought with his life to protect the spot that was now being tickled.
“AHAHAHAHA DOHOHONT!”. Chan was in awe watching his baby being tickled, especially when he knew how ticklish he was. When he noticed that Jisung was too busy protecting his tummy, he moved on to his armpits, wiggling his fingers in them. That’s when Jisung absolutely lost it and all his powers left him. He was now in his hyung’s mercy. He wasn’t able to fight back, so he just let him do it. He knew after all that sooner or later everything would end.
“HYUHUHUNG IT TIHICKLEHES HAHAHAHAHA”, he said, hugging himself. “I know Hannie, I know.”, Chan said. He stops. Han looks relieved and takes a deep breath. He thinks that it’s over now, it must’ve been a century. At least that’s what it felt like.
“Are you dohone?”, he asked full of hope. Chan laughed like the question he’d just heard was the stupidest thing ever. “Of course not, my little quokka. You think you’d get away with 30 second of tickling? That was just the beginning.”. Now Han lost every hope.
Chan grabs Jisung’s right leg and puts it on his lap. Han panics. Chan takes off Han’s shoe. He panics even more, you can see the pure terror in his eyes.
Chan begins by tickling lightly under Han’s knee, making him jump and let out a squeak “No no no no no, don’t you dare, don’t touch me there. And leave my foot alone. I’m too tired to fight back.”
“Even better!” Chan locks Jisung’s ankle between his thighs and lightly tickles his soles. That alone was enough for Han to laugh so hard that tears started rolling down his cheeks.
“HYUHUHUHUNG PLEAHAHASEHE LEHET GOHOHOHO” he said, turning around, jumping up and down helplessly. It was too much for him. “Is my Jisungie really that ticklish?”
“IHIHIT’S TOO MUHUHUCH! PLEAHAHASE STOHOHOP IHIHIT! MAHAHAKE IT STOHOP!”. The fact that his foot was trapped made it 100 times worse.
“Be careful kids, and please a little bit quiet. I’m driving.”, said the driver, who was trying to concentrate. Chan stopped. Jisung started breathing heavily.
“How about I tickle you and you try to keep quiet? Let’s do it like a challenge. Remember like when you were a “statue” and Seungmin was touching you along with Felix and how that tickled you? You kept quiet, you only said “it tickles.” Chan suggested.
“How about you don’t tickle me at all?”
“Why’s that?”
“Because I’m ticklish, hyung. I really can’t stand it, especially now that I’m tired. It tickles way too much and I feel like I’m gonna pass out.”, he said, playing serious so Chan would really stop.
“You really are ticklish, aren’t you?” Chan said, sweetly smiling at his younger member.
“Yes, hyung, I am. I’m really ticklish and when you trapped my foot I felt the ticklishness taking all over me. Really, I can’t stand it. What else do you want me to say? Okay, listen here. Chan-hyung, I’m extremely ticklish and even the slightest touch can tickle me sooo much to the point I might accidentally kick or hit someone. That day with the “statue” thing, I was so ticklish i couldn’t even stay still, and Seungmin didn’t even want to actually tickle me. I just was ticklish. Jeongin is also ticklish, more that anyone I know. You are ticklish, even at the thought of it. Every member is ticklish, and so am I. I’m a human being and a sensitive one. Is that what you wanted me to admit?”
“Yes, it was. Without the ‘you’re ticklish too’ part, of course.”, he said.
“You are though”
“I know I am. Anyways, thank you for telling me. I hope you know that doesn’t mean I’ll stop tickling you, right?”
“I’m sure about that, hyung, but I don’t mind it. As long as it’s someone from the group and it’s not too much, I’m somewhat fine with it.”
The rest of the drive was nothing special. They chatted and joked around like before Han’s torture. Only they poked a little bit each other every 5 or 10 minutes.

Desperate | kitty!Xavier x fem!Reader
cont from the floof attack, hes so needy and desperate and i can’t stop thinking about it
switch!xavier x switch!reader
warnings: anthro, heat if you squint?, ribbed peenor, oral (reader and xavi), ear and tail overstimulation, JEALOUSY, scent, marking
—-
“I guess you know exactly what to do to get a cat purring huh” Xavier hummed, moving your hand from his chest to the waistband of his trousers, hovering your hand over the warmth growing in his pants, “Why not try here?”
The corner of your mouth raises slightly, amused by his confidence. Slowly, you move your hand closer to rest upon his growing bulge. Xavier jolts, eyes fixated on your hand, like a cat following a laser, seemingly begging for you to do something. You know you shouldn’t tease, it’s not fair on him, especially after leaving him alone for so long.
But you just can’t resist.
Applying more pressure you begin to rub his shaft through his trousers. Xavier lets out a breathy moan. He’s already overstimulated from you playing with his ears and the feeling of your hand on his cock is enough to make him want to cream his pants. His ears twitch as you continue your ministrations, unable to help the noises coming out of his flushed lips.
“Is this what you wanted?” you teased. He gulps, tail swishing restlessly before quickly shaking his head. His composure is already slipping.
“Almost. This still isn’t ah-enough to make me forgive you” he breathes. You continue at a painfully slow pace and you feel him growing impatient. Deciding to show him some mercy, you take advantage of him towering over you and free his cock from its confinement. He hisses, revealing his newly grown fangs. You can’t help but think how cute they are. As well as the ears, tail, fangs and feline instincts he’s grown, he’s also changed in other ways.
As you take him in your hand, you feel the spikes that adorn his shaft. They don’t hurt, but the thought of them rubbing against your insides is enough to have you almost squirming in your seat. He jolts in your hand, more desperate now. Pouting, with his face fully flushed, eyes slightly lidded. He’s just oh so sensitive.
You begin to stroke him, just like you’d done over his trousers, his head rolling back and another needy moan leaving his lips. You’re aware anyone could walk in on you two at any moment but you get the feeling that Xavier had missed you too much to care. Before he could get used to your rhythm, you lean forward and take him in your mouth all the way to the base, hands wrapped around what you can’t take all the way. “oh fuck” he squeaks, eyes rolled backwards, cock twitching in your throat. You chuckle slightly, amused at how needy he’s become. You only left him for a few days.
Humming in approval, you take him a little further before letting it slip out with a lewd pop. Xavier lets out a trembled breath and looks at you with hooded eyes. His hand had found its way to the crown of your head, hand gripped, more tightly now, in your hair. Without any words you take him fully again, falling into a regular rhythm. He resists the urge to force you all the way down his cock, till you’re deepthroating him so good. His shallow breaths and moans encourage you as you continue.
Remembering how sensitive his ears are, you wonder if his tail is the same. Xavier is so lost in pleasure he doesn’t notice your hand sneak around him until your fingers are brushing the base of his tail. He jolts upright, forcing himself deeper into your throat, which, combined with the feeling of your hand on his tail, makes him cry out louder than both of you had expected. “You can’t do that~” he shudders, head rolling back with pleasure, hips starting to buck into you. With every thrust he not only gets his cock deeper into your mouth but he can feel your hand playing with his tail, varying pressure with his thrusts. You let him take control, pleased with your new discovery.
Before long, he’s close, thrusts starting to falter, breaths getting deeper, heavier. Chanting a chain of your name and desperate “pleases”. You yank his tail slightly, careful not to hurt him, while simultaneously taking him as deep as you can. He whines loudly, knees giving out, one hand gripping the chair you’re sitting on and the other gripping your hair so tightly it hurts. But he can’t help it, he’s never felt like this before and he’s helpless against stopping the orgasm that hits him all too fast. He lets out a lewd sound into your ear as warm liquid spurts into your throat. He pulls himself out, squirting some onto your lips. He breaths shakily, still hunched over you, eyes closed and forehead resting against yours, tail moving in pleasure. Even now, all you can think about his how cute he is. It couldn’t hurt to play with him some more, could it?
“But this isn’t enough for you is it?” You tut, still gripping his hardened length, eyes looking up into his. It makes sense he’s still hard, he was waiting for you to come back, to touch him, to play with him. He wasn’t only going to last once.
His eyes are still foggy with pleasure but that doesn’t stop him from furrowing his eyebrows and opening his mouth for a comeback. You squeeze his base slightly and Xavier’s retort falters, a moan escaping his lips instead.
“Let me make it up to you” you whisper. Leaning into him and giving him a shallow but sweet kiss. Xavier’s ear twitches in anticipation as you swiftly swap your positions. Legs straddling Xavier’s hips that are now pressed flush against the chair. His blush seems to deepen as you take off his jacket and unbutton his shirt. Cold hands running down his warm chest. He watches you eagerly, hissing from the temperature difference.
“You like it when I touch here, right?” you feign innocence, fingers scratching against his chest. His muscles tense, tail straightening and you feel his still hard cock swell against your underwear. He nods gently, eyes lidding again.
“Please” he chokes out, hands gripping your hips, pushing you onto his cock. Attempting to grind your hips against his. He doesn’t think he can take much longer of this. You stop scratching and lift his chin with your finger.
“That depends.” you start, finger running up his chin and brushing against his lower lip. He pouts, tilting his head confused. “Do you forgive me?” you ask, finger pulling at his lip, showing his lower fangs. Xavier carefully considers his words, eyes darting from where he can feel the folds of your cunt wrapping around his cock through your underwear and your expectant gaze. He wants so badly to comply just so you’ll hurry up and take him but even as a cat, his concious would never allow it. He leans forward, head resting on your shoulder, nose and lips flush against your neck. You smell so good he can’t help the noise that escapes him and can’t stop his tongue from darting out to claim you. Then it hits him…
“You smell like other cats” he hisses suddenly, teeth grazing your neck. Remembering, that you neglected him for the kitties that were closer to the entrance instead of coming straight to him. He growls, or hisses? You can’t tell. But before you know it your back is pressed flush on the table that was behind you. You squeal in surprise, but Xavier doesn’t let your head hit the table. His energy has changed, eyes darkening and posture becoming more stiff. He stands back, removing what’s left completely, his head cocks to the side, eyes in slits, staring straight into yours. His hands grip your thighs as he reaches under your dress and pulls your panties down. He doesn’t need to touch you to know you’re dripping for him. He can smell it. His eyes narrow even more, a newfound confidence overtaking him.
“Xavier?” you question. No response. He’s tunnel visioned. He makes his way from your lower thigh to your cunt, licking everywhere he possibly can. He can’t get enough of your smell and he’s so angry that another cat got close enough to leave their scent behind. He scoots you closer to the edge of the table and indulges himself in your folds. Possessive, demanding. Hand tangling in his already tousled hair, he moans as you accidentally scrape the base of his ears. He’s so overcome with the desire to claim you he can almost forgive you purposely touching them. He knows he’s more sensitive as a cat but don’t forget that he also knows all of your weak points too. He ears twitch to the sound of your moans as he continues to show you just how much he missed you. The texture of his cat like tongue sending a new sensation through your clit. How you’d miss this. However, just as you started to get close he pauses, withdrawing himself completely. Mouth glazed with your juices he looms over you.
“Xavier I was-“ you whine as he pushes a finger over your mouth to shush you.
“That’s for playing with the other cats” he spits. His mouth finds its way to the height of your ear, licking and nibbling softly, slowly making his way down to your neck. He bites harshly and you yelp.
“Mine” he responds, nibbling on the same spot, purposely leaving a mark for the other cats to see. He pulls your garments off, wasting no time in undressing you. He sucks, licks and nibbles everywhere he can possibly get his hands on, focusing especially on your perk nipples, addicted to the sounds you make when he takes them into your mouth.
His cock is leaking pre, pressed flush against your inner thigh. He might just cum listening to you come undone for him. All for him.
“Xavier please, more” you moan out
His ears perk at that. Who is he to deny you? Torturing you with kitten licks and soft bites is just as much torture for him. Not that he wasn’t enjoying rubbing his scent all over you, claiming you as his.
He wets his leaking cock with the juices collected on your folds and slowly pushes himself in. You gasp as he hisses. There’s more resistance than usual due to his ribbed cock and he doesn’t know if it’s just because he’s missed you so much but your insides feel like honey. He pushes himself fully in with a long moan and takes a moment to let you adjust, feeling your walls loosen as you accept him. You buck your hips to get him to move which by itself elicits a jolt from him but he wastes no time. Grabbing your hips and pulling you into his thrusts, table shaking against the floor. He’s mesmerised by your tits jiggling and can’t help but grab onto them and play with your nipple as he pounds endlessly into you.
You pull him into you, taking his lips onto yours, sloppily kissing him as he fucks you. Your hands somehow find its way into his hair again and you remember just how sensitive his ears are. You purposely scratch the base of his ear and he falters. “Fuck” Lips detaching from yours as he whimpers, thrusts jerking as you continue to assault his ears. “Be- ah- gentle” he pleads, one eye shut from the overstimulation. His mouth hangs open as you keep playing with his ears. His dominating nature dissolved so quickly you can’t help but chuckle. Testing your luck you go so far as to grab a few inches before the end of his tail and he jolts, thrusting as deep as he can into you. “You can’t just-“ He’s a whimpering, blushing mess. He can’t find the strength to thrust into you properly when you’re touching not only his ears but his tail too. “Please please please don’t stop”His body feels like it’s on fire, twitching everywhere. He can feel himself getting closer just from you touching in those places. “I can’t-“
Giving into your touch he begins to thrust into you again. More desperately and fervently than before. He needs to bury his seed inside you and claim you as his own, but he also just wants you to keep touching and playing with him forever. His mind is torn but at the same time he’s much too far gone to think. He just needs you.
“Please i’m close-“ he begs, hand managing to rub your swollen clit as his pace falters. “I need you” he begs. As your own orgasm overwhelms you, you apply a bit too much pressure on his tail. His tail stiffens but at the same time you feel him squirt into you with a loud desperate whine. Your walls still twitching around his cock he continues to fuck his seed into you. A string of curses and whines leaving his lips.
Too overstimulated from the pleasure he deflates ontop of you. His face buries into your neck taking in your scent, now mixed with his. “Mine” he mumbles before drifting off to sleep. You kiss his forehead, wondering how you’re going to get this large, very asleep, cat xavier off of you before anyone sees.

Heart Strung Words
Leon Kennedy x Male Reader | This one has been passed around in the drafts for FAR too long. Also Happy Crises if you celebrate it!
WARNINGS: FLIRTING(I mean it, I pulled out my best lines for this one), cute rambles about reader, Leon telling reader how much he means to him, re 2 Leon, lots of kisses(I need more practice in writing kiss scenes so, here), mentions of reader wrestling with self-doubt, this is disgustingly cute, not beta read, Y/N is used
WC: 511
"Yes, you're cute all the time." A blush blooms across Y/N's face, rough fingers gliding down from his hair. Trailing over his neck, shoulders, and arms. Leaning towards the warm press of lips, soft light kisses pressing with purpose. Y/N’s now kissed stained hands were moved before Leon breathed out a huffed hum.
Foreheads against one another as the blonde continues. "You mean so much to me, without you I don’t know what I’d do," Cheeks blooming warmer and heart racing in appreciation and sweetened affection. "You’re too damn sweet.” He replied, pausing as he tries to find the right words.
"Now you're just spoiling me." Of course Y/N knew he meant something to Leon, that puppy dog face alone was proof enough. Still, doubts held his heart behind bars and decade-old vines, with everything else it did. That selfish side of him wanting it to be true, yet that leaching weight, circling his brain, and trembling hands. Scared to lose Leon, scared to end up alone again. So much had changed and Y/N was still…
Chest tightening, unsure if asking was the right thing, words caught in his throat. Leon's head shakes with a small smile, softly pressing their lips together. The gentle kiss turns tender as he deepens it, pulls away, head resting on the other. Heavy breathes intermix with one another, eyes closed in bliss. Leaving another kiss to Y/N's lips, this one light and quick.
Bright blue eyes open with an affectionate gaze, breath lost. "How could I not." The blonde whispers, passion flashing through his eyes. Y/ N trailed his fingers down Leon's face and shoulders, everything about him was just so perfect. Leon kisses the base of his throat lightly, "Perfect voice…" Leaning up to kiss his forehead, "…perfect brain…" He then leans down to his chest, kissing over Y/N's heart. "…and a perfect beat that keeps you alive."
Feeling as Leon kisses him, chuckling nervously at his affectionate state. Heart beating out of his chest at each kiss, as if trying to escape towards the man. "Oh, don’t go speechless on me now." He teases breathlessly, playfully mouthing the base of his throat with a low chuckle. "Come on baby, I wanna hear that lovely voice of yours."
His expression soft and adoring giggle once more before kissing Leon. Their emotions practically spilling out between the two. "You sure are touchy this morning, not that I’m complaining." Y/N grins, fingers chasing his warmth over his flesh. "You know, you really just-make my heart go all crazy." Y/N mumbled sweetly against his lover's lips, indulging in a few moments of silent kisses before continuing.
"I never used to think about eternity, never understood why anyone would want to live to see something forever until I met you, then I understood.." The sincere and truthful words Y/N spoke, all so heart warming to. "Figured I'd wake you up with breakfast, you know it being Christmas and all but…" Appreciation showed in his voice, how could he have been so lucky. His smile widening and eyes gleaming, hands caressing his face as Y/N kissed his nose.
"Think I might just keep you here all day instead."

~Reassurance~
lee! seungmin
ler! channie
n/a: this is a tickle fic, feel free to scroll if this is not your cup of tea! 😭☕️
tw: nothing! only soft tickles 😮💨🙏
in the studio, chan and the staff were busy creating the music tracks for their new album “HOP”. They’re deep into the recording process for “U (FT. TABLO),” working together to fine-tune every detail of the track. The studio is a flurry of focused energy as the team collaborates, running through the song’s layers and adjusting elements to perfect the sound. Each take is met with feedback, fine adjustments, and a shared commitment to bringing the song to its full potential, with their lovely leader at the helm, ensuring everything aligns with the vision he has for the track.
In the recording booth, the talented puppy sang his parts of the track, nailing each note on time. eventually seungmin came to the verse “All i want is U” and struggled to get the right tone and pitch.
seungmin: “hyungggg, i can’t do it! it’s too difficult!”
minnie groaned because he wanted his lines to be to perfect and bang on right. it was difficult as the verse was so low, not his the way how he usually sings. His hyung tried his best to encourage the younger to try his best.
Channie: “don’t worry minnie, you’re doing great, just try to sing it more with a calmer tone and add try to bend where it says “..is U.”
After numerous tries the vocalist just couldn’t get it correctly how he wanted it to be. He felt a prick of tear trying to escape his eye. Why can’t i do it correctly? he thought to himself. Seungmin walked out of the recording booth and stood at the coffee table overviewing his lines on the paper he analyzed earlier.
Staff: “i think why you are going wrong is because when you get to the part of “..is U”, you keep forgetting to bend it which is making it more difficult to maintain without it sounding off pitch.”
The puppies eyes lit up with realization as he had been struggling this whole time due to one little error that he could simply correct. Minnie gets a tiny bit embarrassed and covers his face smiling into his hands. The elder starting laughing at his cuteness and pulled him onto his lap hugging his waist.
Chan: “See, what did i tell you? I told you to bend the last 2 words you dummy!”
The wolf playfully and mischievously pulls minnie into a ticklish hug. Seungmin bursts into laughter, squirming as he tries to wiggle free, his face lighting up with amusement. Bang Chan grins, his voice light and teasing: “I told you so,”
he says with a playful tone, continuing to gently poke at Seungmin’s sides, knowing exactly where to target to make him laugh uncontrollably. Seungmin laughs harder, protesting between breaths,
Seungmin: "Nohohohoho! This is sohohohoho unfahahahair"
He tries to push Bang Chan’s hands away, but his efforts are futile, his laughter only growing louder as he squirms more.
Seungmin: “Plehehehease, it’s sohoho bad! I’ll kill yohohohou"
The vocalist manages to say, still caught in the playful onslaught. Bang Chan chuckles, his hold on him tightening just a little.
Chan: “I’d like to see you try,”
he teases, clearly enjoying the moment of lighthearted mischief. Seungmin, unable to stop laughing, gives up, letting himself relax in the embrace, his cheeks flushed with the joy of the moment. The staff laugh finding the scene between the 2 cute. Unexpectedly, seungmin felt another pair of hands softly raise his arms above his head with one hand holding then in place whilst another crawled its way to his underarms.
Seungmin: “yahahahaha! Stohohop it! Let gohoHOHAHAHA!”-
the singers laughter increased to soft giggles and bubbly gasps. The poor guy couldn’t handle 2 of his weakest spots be attacked at the same time.
Chan: “Hah, jackpot puppy! Are you gonna listen to me next time or do you want this to happen again?
Seungmin: “PLEHEHEHEASE, I CAHAHAN’T TAKE IT! MOVE SPOHOHOHTS LR STAHSHAOH HYUNG!”
after another 2 torturous minutes of ticklish agony, chan and his mystery helper let minnie off for now. He was still softly giggling trying to regain his breath with his head resting in channie’s neck.
chan: “will you listen next time?”
seungmin: (muttering softly and fast) “noilikeditalothyungbutitsembarrassing..”
chan began to gently trace his neck and collarbones again with eyes twinkling at the puppy.
chan: “awww, your so cute”
seungmin doesn’t fight back and just lets him do it, as he giggles, he looks up to the ceiling and sees a glimpse of black long flowing hair quickly shoot back.
seungmin: “wahahahait! jinnie hyung! did you hold my arms uhuhuhup?”
the mysterious helper has now been discovered
hyunjin: “sorry i had no choice, you needed to be taught a lesson”
seungmin: “maybe you need to be taught one later as well..”
Min gave his hyung a cute cheeky smirk. Hyunjin knew he was in for a ride later tonight

pro: ran into a coworker at a bar last night who I don’t really talk to usually (he works upstairs, I work downstairs) and we talked and im pretty sure we were highkey flirting and he bought me a drink and the bar merch shirt i was interested in and thanks to the power of alcohol i guess i asked for his number and he gladly gave it to me and. yeah
con: i have the second worst hangover i have ever had and have been fighting for my fucking life just to eat saltines
#it’s getting better but only now that it’s like. 6pm#as weird as it sounds part of why this sucks is that I volunteered to come into work today cause there’s a concert going on nearby which#usually means we’re at least somewhat busy -> make better tips#and I couldn’t go in because well. you know#I’ve been sick and dying in bed all day unable to move or eat or anything#let alone take the bus and go to work#but. as much as I wish I didn’t go this overboard I don’t totally regret last night cause.#yeah. potential thing going on with cute coworker guy. OH and potential job opportunity at my favorite bar in town#apparently said coworker Also has a job at the bar in addition to where we both work and the bar is hiring barbacks at entry-level#so I have someone to vouch for me and the bartender we were talking to seemed to really want me to apply too#one thing that’s kinda funny to me about all this is that the first two places (a bar then a club) we were at felt really mid because they#were packed with way too many straight people (at a gay bar and a gay club)#but the bar we ended up at (where we ALWAYS end up at. it is the oasis. it is the only thing I can rely on) felt. like. not overwhelmingly#straight? at all? I mean part of it’s just luck in a way with just who happened to be there and all that but it’s also that the staff seem#pretty significantly populated with queer ppl#I complained to the bartender about how the club we were at (one of the biggest gay clubs in the city- if not The biggest) just felt kinda#meh because yeah maybe there were some guys dancing in jockstraps and whatever but the crowd itself like. did not feel largely queer#or at least didn’t have the spirit I’d hope for in a queer space if that makes sense. felt very conventional. not enough wild outfits and#makeup and gender fuckery and so on#and the bartender was like dude I KNOW right? I went off outside there once about the invasion of cishets when this space isn’t FOR them#and so on and so forth. and god that was So real.#so the experience at my beloved bar last night was like. 1) guy comes up behind me just to order a drink but i was saving a seat for my#friend who was in the bathroom and mentioned that in case he was looking to take the seat. chatted a little. ended with him pointing out#that a guy nearby was trying to holla at me.#2) I look over and yes. the dj is. in fact. looking directly at me and mouthing the lyrics to whatever song was playing pointed my way.#it was pretty sweet honestly I think it was partly cause I looked like I was shy and alone#3) whatever gay shit was going on with my coworker and i. amusingly he seems to get more flamboyant when he drinks just like i do.#im not 100% sure what his sexuality is but i Am 100% sure it is Not straight. but yeah. if it hadn’t been so close to closing time ive been#hardcore wondering where that would’ve gone. maybe its for the best that i had to go when i did cause i was pretty drunk and who knows when#I could’ve hit the amount of drunk it takes to like outright say hey just so you know i’d suck your dick right now if you wanted
