Eddie feels the need to take his thoughts away from the public eye. Even if nobody can actually see them, he'd feel safer marinating in them in solitude. 

The inside of the house is chiller than the outdoors, which reminds Eddie of the financial gap between him and Steve. Whoever was in charge of building this place, must have known his shit. The Munson trailer is impossible to sit in without melting in the summer days. 

From his safe perch on the kitchen island, Eddie looks over the party outside. Everyone is having fun and none of them has any idea about his perverted, subconscious scheme. He's kind of disgusted with himself, but on the other side, he wonders what his brain has been trying to accomplish. He wonders if Steve was freaked out last night when he started undressing in front of him and if swinging his dick out this morning was an act of revenge. 

On one hand, Steve looks innocent and lovely in the afternoon sun, laughing at whatever joke someone has said. On another, he's a bat-biting lunatic with a mean streak known through the whole Hawkins High. He absolutely could flaunt his ass out of spite.

When the glass door opens, Eddie almost jumps out of his skin.

"Sorry." Will smiles apologetically.

"You're fine, Byers. Just drifted off a bit. What's up?" he asks with a tilt of his brow. The kid had an imagination that could match his own, and he'd grown fond of him even in the short period of time he'd known him. 

"I volunteered to grab sodas for everyone." Will points his thumb to their friends sitting outside. "Figured you wouldn't want Dustin bothering you if you need some space." 

Eddie can't help but smile. 

"That's very thoughtful of you, Will the Wise."

Will shrugs. 

"I try." He walks up to the fridge, but he seems to hesitate there. Eddie gives him time to think, sipping on his soda. "Do you need space? Or do you want to talk?" he eventually asks. 

The older boy hums. 

"I think it's too soon to talk about it. I'm not even sure what it is," he admits, heels kicking against the cupboards below him. 

He startles again when Will appears at his side.

"For fuck's sake, get a bell or something!" he hisses, clutching at his chest. But Will ignores his joke, looking thoughtfully somewhere else. 

"You've been spending a lot of time with Steve."

Eddie forces his shoulders to relax. There's no way he was that obvious, right? He himself has just figured it out. 

"Well, we can't spend all our time with you twerps," he defends. He risks looking towards the party and finds Steve looking back, frowning at the two of them talking inside. But he sends Eddie a small smile and turns back to the grill.

"No, of course. We're too young to chat about wills and taxes," Will shoots back with a serious nod. 

Eddie slaps his shoulder.

"Watch it, youngster, or there won't be any Will in my will." 

Byers presses his lips together, but Eddie knows it is a good joke, the kid just doesn't want to admit it. They're all buttheads like that.

"You know I'm gay, right?"

He blinks at the boy. 

"That's not going to take you off my will," he reassures, but Will's expression turns only more pained. "No, seriously, I don't care. As long as you're not diddling kids, or animals, or, or corpses—"

"You know what?" Will pushes away from the counter to gather the sodas he's been sent for. "Forget about it. Figure it out yourself. And please never use that word again."

"Which one? Diddling?"

"Yes. That."

Will is halfway through the living room when Eddie suddenly realizes what just happened. Little Byers was trying to give him The Gay Talk.

Little Byers. 

Who must have barely figured it out himself. 

Eddie shoots up from the counter, almost falling on his face in the process. 

"Byers, wait!" He sprints the small distance to stop him from getting to the door. Will looks unimpressed but he's more focused on balancing the cans in his arms so he stands still and waits. 

"Am I really that obvious?" Eddie asks in a whisper, sparing a worried glance over his shoulder. Thankfully none of their friends' attention was on them.

"You both are," Will informs him with a roll of his eyes. "It almost hurts to watch." 

It stuns Eddie enough that Will pushes through him towards the door. 

"Both? What do you mean both?"

"Figure it out!" Without looking at him, Will opens the glass door and leaves him alone with his thoughts again. And that's a dangerous company on a good day.

Because, both?

Could Steve Harrington, high school heartthrob, and Mister Hair, be into guys? Into Eddie, of all of them?

He looks up to search for him again, but it's not hard, as their eyes meet again. Steve raises his eyebrow and makes a little sideway nod as if asking him if he's coming back. Eddie nods wildly, makes a "T" with his hands, then points one finger up. In a minute. Steve smiles, visibly relieved, and holds up two plates of deliciously looking food.

Eddie's stomach somersaults as he realizes he has saved food for him. He quickly runs away to the kitchen to collect himself and grab something to share as well. 

On his way back, he passes by the stairs and suddenly freezes as the memory of last night hits him. 

Maybe Steve wasn't looking at his crotch because he was grossed out by Eddie's actions. 

Maybe they both should be sprayed with cold water like horny dogs.

Alr New idea, the multiverse but everyone is in a gang, like nightmare, and dream are gang leaders some are freelancers, and some are just there.

Nightmare and dream are the most well known gang leaders they are also twins. Also, also there's no magic and they are just like humans, and teenagers.

Nightmare Joku- 17- he is like 5.4 and anger issues, he is the leader of the "nighttime gang" (idk), he is the more violent of the Joku twins, also keep the height joke's to yourself unless you want the whole town against you. He gang fights, and basically Mafia leader

Dream Joku- 17- he is 5.9 and lives by the motto 'kill'm with kindness', he takes the killing part VERY seriously tho. He is nice, he looks nice, he acts nice, don't let that fool you tho, it's a cover. Leader of the "Star Sans"

Epic Geer/012- 17- he goes by Epic Geer or Epic 012 it just depends on who you ask, he is 5.8. he is a freelancer and info junkie, if you want info on someone or something he is the FBI. he steals packages, and information and sells them to the highest bidder. No one's ever seen his whole face, he cover's it with a hat, all they can make out is a ghost of a scar on one of his eyes. Controlling father. He is the 'sidekick' also involved with both main Joku twins, knows EVERYONE. Everyone may have it bad, but you aren't this guy. Part of no gang

Cross Pañaloza- 15- he is the MC, 5.8. he is new in town and nightmare just adopted him. He comes from an abusive father, he HAD a bandana but epic stole it first day and wears it like a medal, and won't give it back, he doesn't mind much now. He has bandages where his scar is, it's going from one side of his face to the other. He is nervous around everyone, but epic and (most) of the nm gang. Part of nm gang.

Killer Wabas/W- 16- he is not okay mentally and is not afraid to show it, 5.7. he Loves cats and has cat notebooks, cases, bags, you name it he has one. The local knife dealer, he has everything. Knows everyone for some reason, no one knows how. He his very secretive. Part of nm gang.

Dust Carno- 16- he is even more not okay, most people say he's insane, others think he's bipolar, but everyone thinks he's schizophrenic, 5.5, and will beat your ass. He is just a case, got picked up by nm gang and has stayed, Korean exchange student, but knows English surprisingly well. Should be in an institution somewhere. Part of nm gang.

Horror S.- 15- he has severe brain damage, memory loss, and to top it off amnesia, 5.10. nm picked him up off the street (literally). No one really knows where he is from not even epic, but they all know it's bad,BAD. He is really sweet to everyone he knows scares off the rest tho. He can't speak all too well but he's trying. VERY malnourished when nm picked him up, now he just looks sickly, and deathly pale. Part of nm gang.

Blue/Swap Prince- 15- really nice, kill'm with kindness, a boxing champion, he has the gold belt's to prove it, 5.6. short king. Don't underestimate him, he really likes cute, star aesthetics, can and will kick your ass, 0 hesitation. Part of the "Star Sans"

Ink Comyet- 17- he is forgetful, out of sight out of mind, most people don't really like him, bc he is very creepy, and stalker-ish at times, 5.3 the only one shorter than nm. He LOVES art and will force his way into conversations and make them about art, he has art gigs places, very famous, but no one knows what goes on behind closed doors. His art name is "The Creator". Part of the "Star Sans"

Fresh C.Q.- 16- he is straight up creepy af, and talks like he's in the 90's, not very well liked, mf 6.1 and still growing. He wears a backpack and can pull anything out of it, he is very sadistic, doesn't really feel empathy or much of anything. And it does not matter how hot or cold it is he WILL layer like he's preparing for the Russian winter, and still always complaining that it's 'too cold'. He has no siblings (sorry CQ brothers fans but I don't roll like that) and just plain annoying. He is a freelancer and has no gang

Error P.G.- 17- he is forgetful but not near as much as ink, or horror just long term memory loss and sometimes short term, 5.6 but taller than blue. Him and blue are best friends and do a lot together. near sited ass mf, needs glasses but keeps forgetting to put them on or that he has them in the first place. He has no siblings. Part of nm gang

May I ask your advice? I’m in a weirdly complex relationship situation. Got married 7 years ago to a dude, great person and everything, just realized I was queer about 3 years in. 5 years in I had to admit to myself I’m just gay and needed to figure shit out. Well, we’ve been going through a slow (1.5 yrs) separation to make sure we’re being kind and respectful to each other’s hearts and everything, and we got to the “seeing other people while the state we unfortunately reside in takes 9000 years to process the divorce” stage. And then I met someone. She’s understanding but also understandably a lil wary of “that” scenario, but knows the deal and as far as I can tell seems all in? But like… isn’t a very prolific communicator and I’m tripping over myself trying to build something while walking on all these eggshells because I’m scared of spooking her by getting too attached too quickly. She’s fully chatty and engaging and isn’t standoffish by any stretch, and I’m pretty sure all the worry is just in my own head, but like how do I gage if I’m overdoing it or not???? With dudes it’s easy. Oh and also the soon-to-be-ex is cool with it, but I think the fact that he exists is a ‘commitment deal breaker’ for her right now and I don’t know how to navigate.

Honestly tho, from what little information there really is here, it sounds like you've done the best you can do. You're open about how you feel, and despite what weird ~cringe~ culture might try and say, that is a good thing. Yeah there is a line where interested becomes overbearing, but generally people put out signs of that. If you notice she's constantly reiterating to you that she's fine and likes you, you might be pressing the issue.

It sucks but at some point you have to just trust people at their word. If she's sayings she's into you, then believe it, even if she's not in the place to commit. And if she's saying that the whole ex deal makes her wary, then give her time. Let her see that your attention is on her and not him. Let her see that you guys aren't interested in each other like that anymore. In the end one of two things will happen, either she'll get the picture that you're actually single and only interested in her just like you said and realize her hesitation wasn't necessary, OR, she won't. In which case, it just wasn't meant to be. But either way, at the end of the day a relationship is never gonna be built on one person jumping through hoops to prove themselves/anything to the other. If she cares about you she won't want that either, she just needs time to figure her own shit out. Just relax, enjoy her company and all the fun parts of a new relationship 💕

welp, I've finally came up with a schedule for asking you questions. Every 2-4 days after you answer something I've sent I shall make an ask, changing the themes between your OCs and their world, and Luckyboy!Ben AU. That way I won't burn you out accidently with asking about the same thing all the time XD And since my last ask was about your OCs, it's time to return to Luckyboy!Ben AU :D

Ok, first question, Would Gwen here have the necrofriggian babies? Big Chill babies (but named differently obviously)? I suspect that she would have them considering that that was something that came up from a... defect, bug, glitch, purposefully put design? in the Omnitrix, as such she should have birthed them regardless of the differences with cannon. Would anyone else know about the babies, considering it was treated as a secret in cannon but maybe not in this AU?

Also, what about Zs'Skayr? He (Is Zs'Skayr gendered? I'll treat them as male for the rest of this ask to avoid complications) is also someone that's independent of the events of the prime universe, and as such I'd imagine that he would still be a threat in this universe.

And the Loboan transformation that Ben went through in the OS, would Gwen also go through it in here as well? We know that that transformation was triggered by Werewolf when the team was attacked, forcing Ben to go through a gradual transformation.

Now back to Nekomata :D Would Ben ever reveal his identity to someone? Maybe Gwen and grandpa Max? Perhaps Rook if he manages to gain the complete trust of Ben first? What kind of situation would allow for Ben to reveal his identity as Nekomata that wasn't a life-or-death one? Because let's be real, in a life-or-death situation anyone would reveal their identities XD

We know that Ben is the favourite barista of the coffee, and with good reason, considering he's a charismatic info brooker that will kick the ass (or alien equivalent) of anyone making trouble, while also being respectful of the clients (because that's mandatory in a job like that one, but isn't it hard to find employees like that in this universe) and keeping their dietaries needs in mind. But does He has any favourite client, someone he's waiting to come because he geniunly sees them as friends even though they only see each other in the coffee? Nekomata interactions don't count for this XD I'd imagine it would be one of the plumbers kids, Kevin or Argit, But who knows? this might as well be a time to make any background character shine :P Not that I remember any of them anyways XD

I'm conflicted about this. Idk if that episode was supposed to be a metaphor for teen pregnancy (i still find it hilarious that it's a cannon mpreg episode rip!), but with Gwen it wouldn't rlly work(?) She's quite responsible, and considering her personality she'd get way too attached.

So- I would say that she has a lot better communication with Azmuth then what Ben did, and Azmuth took into consideration a lot of Gwens suggested tweeks. So, no babys- srry. They'd nerf Gwen completely. (poor thing crys over the littlest things...)

You know what? what's the harm in a little childhood trauma, we'll have Zs'Skayr. Gwen never took back control of Ghost Freak after the events of Zs'Skayr. She also never defeated him the first round, it irritates her to know end how much of a coward she was as a child. But she was a child! She's too hard on herself a lot of the times.

Oh geez this brings back memories~ I remember sitting in my loungeroom watching this episode and loving it every time.

The only reason Ben turned into the Laboan was because he chased after the OG wolf man.

I would say Gwen's a lot more cautious in those cases and stuck close to Max. So she didn't end up collecting the Laboan DNA until a lot further down the track.

Maybe similar events happen with a different alien however, something Gwen can't avoid.

Before I dive down into Nekomata I just wanna make note of some Gwen stuff.

Gwen is still quite headstrong, intelligent and cautious when it comes to fighting. Quite similar to how she functions in the OG her fighting is more Defensive. Her fighting style is built off Taekwondo (I think thats what she practised in alien force...) So she's more built for self defence. She's very analytical of her opponents. Her best alien would be XLR8 (my one of my faves ngl). Using her quick thinking she can do small attacks that can weaken her opponent.

Now then:

I usually don't like to reveal big REVEALS to anyone even myself. Which can straight up nerf me when it comes to developing my own characters cause I won't spoil myself.

So it takes a lot of willpower to do this. It's my AU and I say what's canon!

The big reveal:

You know what, I thought about this a while ago. Rook is realsing that perhaps the plumbers are in the wrong. So he only whishes to hear Nekomata out. He ends up finding Nekomata after a big fight. He's quite injured and bleeding out, he can't retain his anodite form (add a bit of a concussion in the mix). Rook panics and has to throw the mask off, because the majorite of blood is under the mask. (mans know first aid). He's hesitant, all this chasing, all this fighting. Surely he couldn't! but He does. He pulls of the mask AND, oh shit, the barista!

I think around this time the plumbers had caught on to Rooks faulty allegiance and had followed him, so He finds himself surrounded. Rook places the mask back on and trys to talk with the plumbers.

They're not hearing it. And Ben, in his weary state, pulls out one of his little teleporter rocks (i forgot to mention he carries around of a lot of them, preinfused with mana as a just in case scenario) grabs Rook by the ankle and teleports them away.

Through a series of events his identity is revealed, to the public and he's on the run. Not sure how that'll go, but it extends the overall storyline!

You're right, the BG characters really don't get that limelight. So..... Blukig and Driba. He genuinely enjoys their little back and forths. Also in this universe they're gay. I can't imagine those two loving anyone else but each other.

I said in a blog earlier today that I would post my thoughts on the game after I was done, but screw it, I'm going for it now lmao. I just need to talk about it ok-

Long post ahead!

Let's start from the beginning eh?

1. The game starts by getting you right in the feels, huh? "And for a moment, I feel whole" Give this girl a found family pls, she needs it

2. Didn't expect Varl to show up! And the beard suits him, no matter what Aloy says lmao (why he'd have to get rid of it?)

3. Burrowers are so cute, a bit of a pain in the ass, but cute

4. Damn, Aloy has to write a guide on how to destroy someone's entire worldview in less than five minutes, because like, she didn't even hesitate (it becomes a little ironic if you told CYAN to go gently on the Banuk in the Frozen Wilds lol)

5. Well, if the Far Zenith stuff isn't a huge Chekhov's Gun, then I don't know what is

6. They actually let Aloy say "sh*t"! It took me aback a little honestly, out of all things in the game, this is what surprised me, huh

7. The Slitherfang was so cool tho

8. For that one scene- I legit just went 'Travis, you f*cking nerd!' Really felt Aloy's pain here

9. Really didn't expect the return to Meridian! A pleasant surprise for sure

12. Avad still thirsts over Aloy I see. I picked the brain option, but after seeing the fist one giffed, I kinda wish I picked that one instead, but what's done done lol, Imma go for that next playthrough

13. It was nice to see some returning characterS for a while before we embarked to the West

14. Wow, Aloy really bailed on Varl like that eh? Considering that she's done it before (as shown in the comics and as mentioned in-game), I wasn't really surprised. Tbh tho, I'm not one to judge, I'd do the same, but just because I'm not a people's person

15. The song that kicked in the credits, totally didn't see it coming, but yeah, the moment I was done with that playthrough I immediately looked for it in Youtube, and now I can't stop playing it, send help-

16. Ok, but like, can we talk about the soundtrack? The reworked version of Aloy's Theme is amazing, and something I noticed about it- the HFW version of the theme sounds considerably more sci-fi-ish than the HZD version, you could say that it very subtly foreshadows how much more sci-fi-ish this game is in comparison to the first game. Dunno if it was intentional, but I kinda like that detail

17. And thus we are in the Daunt! Vuadis- excuse me- STUDIOUS Vuadis- he's funny. Funny as in 'I kinda hate him right now' lmao

18. Chainscrape is a pretty nice looking place-

20. Oh look, that in-game board game I won't be playing because I suck at strategy

21. And now we get to see Erend. I kinda liked this interaction they had to be honest. Aloy had to get called out on her sh*t at some point, amirite? Erend was very obviously hurt by the way she suddenly disappeared, and in a way, no matter which option you pick, she still seems to be a bit of an a**hole, because no matter the reason she left, she still left without saying a word, and that's just not cool (says my hypocritical ass who previously admitted that I would ditch people with no remorse), so yeah Erend, you deserve to be salty about this

22. And now we go to Barren Light- Aloy still is a force to be reckoned with- the way Varl arrives just in time and Erend who is already there just going "oh you know, Aloy challenges the authorities and tempts fate, what else is new", so casually lmao

23. Shouldn't have been surprising to see Erend stand up for Aloy against the commander. While it's obvious that he still isn't happy about the stuff she's pulling, it seems that he still is determined to be there for her now, no matter what, like- he's trying, instead of holding all that stuff against Aloy, he's trying to be there for her instead when she wasn't and that shows a lot of maturity on his part

24. Regalla's entrance was pretty badass. The way the rest of the encounter went wasn't so much- it was very reminiscent of the Proving actually, except Aloy wasn't the target this time

25. My man Kotallo just stopped a Bristleback without even using a weapon, he's just rammed into it to stop it in it's tracks, how badass is that?

26. Ok, but Aloy just stood there while Grudda beat Varl's ass, she didn't even try to stop him, what gives-

27. Finally, the Shieldwing! I'm addicted to using it now-

28. And now, we're heading to the Horus. Totally not ominous and definitely Sylens' taste in lairs

29. Sylens is as insufferable as usual

30. Is it weird I feel a little bad for HADES? Whatever Sylens did to it, left it a shell of it's former self- anyways, it still was so satisfying to see it gone for good this time

31. That holo of Travis and Elisabet, in Latopolis though- "How do you love the world so much, but don't seem to love a single person it it?" I-I feel attacked-

31. That maze was a pain to figure out, I had to use a guide tbh-

This f*cking quest man- this damn quest- ok, so- Sylens just went "these people outside want you, but worry, they won't do anything to you, now open the hatch will you?", Aloy goes "lol no" and destroys her current Focus (considering that she hands out Focuses everywhere like they are nothing, I was left wondering just how many does she have on her person?) and uses a new one. So, the hatch to the facility was supposed to be open to Aloy only- AND THEN- EXCUSE ME, WTF

33. Oh what the f*ck- there's another- you know I was thinking about the possibility of another Elisabet clone, but definitely not like this- and like- who tf are these people? Why do they want me dead? And what the heck are these new machines?

34. F*ck Erik btw

35. The fact that we aren't even close to the middle yet and we already had our near death experience of the game tho- (they just had to name the quest "Death's Door" lmfao). That escape must have left Aloy pretty f*cked up if she was basically delirious when she got washed up on the shore. Speaking of that-

36. OUCH. WHY.

37. "I'm fine", Aloy says, nearly falling over for the like, fifth time in the last three minutes

38. I think it's cute the Utaru land-gods (to us known as Plowmowers) are named after the musical notes

39. It seems that VarlxZo has sailed! Good for them!

40. Ok, but I wanna talk about this scene for a bit- my reading of it is that- well you can very clearly see that Aloy is very determined to take off as soon as possible, even if she can barely stand. "I will crawl there if I have to" in her words. And I feel like she would have actually gone through with I believe, she has zero chill. And then she sees what Varl and Zo have going. I think she was a little guilty. Like, he seemed to be happy with Zo, and because of her stubbornness he would miss out on going with her to Plainsong. So Aloy giving in to their request to rest up and heal, is giving up on this small bit of selfishness she got going for Varl's sake. Well, she definitely benefited from it in the end though, that's good.

41. On an unrelated note, I got two of them actually, I'm kinda glad they are still keeping Aloy single (not me here projecting my aroace ass). Like, it's not just that, I just think that Aloy isn't really ready for something as deep as a romance, not yet at least. I mean, think about it: she grew up as an outcast, with only one person to talk to, so let's be honest here, she really doesn't know her way around people, you can tell from how socially awkward (socially awkward as in the way she behaves around people, talking down figures of authority for example) and blunt she can be. And if you think about it, Aloy never really had a friend growing up (just how sad is that?), I really wouldn't be surprised if she didn't really know what being actually friends with someone means, my guess is that she has a very surface level understanding of friendship, and that's why she has so much trouble properly opening up to her friends here in HFW. TLDR; Pls, give this girl a found family/friends before we go into any romances first if they do go into that. Besiiiiiides, Erend and Varl seem to be acting more like older brother figures to me more than anything

42. Ok uh, so I have several minor unrelated notes to make regarding a specific line of side quests that from what I've seen has disappointed several people, but it's not what you might expect. Anyway, here it goes. Just putting it out there; I have no problem at all with Talanah having a thing for Amadis, and I say that as someone whose first option for romance for Aloy if it happens is Talanah (if you don't let me keep my girl ace, at least let me romance a girl, thank you very much), I mean, bi Talanah anyone? Besides, Talanah has two hands 😏Second, I'm gonna put it out here, I wasn't that big on Talanah in the first place, she's an ok character for me at best, the one that is a little over hyped, but still pretty ok. Thirdly, call it a hot take if you want (as if the previous ones weren't hot enough takes already lmao), it very much makes sense that Talanah wouldn't become a member of the main character crew and that she remains in the realm of side quests. Let me explain. Talanah is a pretty missable character as in, not everyone is going to invest hundreds of hours to replay a game, not everyone is going to do all side quests (let's be honest here, as great as HZD is, it's side quests weren't and the most engaging ones (now that I think of it, that might be the reason I'm not that big on Talanah)), so a combination of both can lead to a character simply not getting enough attention as to become main character grade. So I think that we should be glad we even got a Talanah side quest in the first place, because she could easily be a character who didn't get enough attention as to get a place in the sequel. I mean, imagine if a much more obscure character from the first game suddenly became a main, pretty jarring, right? Anyways- Of course you all have a right to be disappointed in how her story went, while I didn't see much in Talanah's character, you guys did, so I guess you all know something more than I do ig. I personally wasn't disappointed, because I didn't really hold any expectations for her, I was perfectly happy with what the writers had in mind for Talanah. You guys who were let down didn't, and I very much respect that. Sorry for this rant, I just kinda really wanted to talk about this, you know- With that aside, I'm gonna say this, both Talanah and Amadis deserved better. Amadis deserved better than to live with the knowledge that this person he cared so much for simply doesn't really seem to give a f*ck about him anymore and Talanah deserved better than now having to deal with that this person she came to really like might never actually come to reciprocate her feelings just because he might never really get over the aforementioned events. So my guess is that there might be still hope for TalanahxAloy shippers, not the Talanah being invited to the base thing, but a chance of the two getting together in the future, who knows (optimism at it's finest ey?) Ok, done with this rant I think

43. Alright, where was I? Right, at Stone's Echo. After here we set out to find Plainsong. Man, the Utaru's architecture is kinda insane, they really just built their home on top of the satellite dishes, I'd love to live there (if not for the red blight thing)

44. Ok so uh, so much has happened in recent playthroughs that my memory is a little fuzzy when it comes to this part of the game, but if I remember correctly we went to Repair Bay TAU to reach Minerva, right? Or they needed something from the Core to track down MINERVA's exact location? I think? Can't remember, someone pls correct me on this- All I remember is fighting the Grimhorn and then Aloy was so close to pulling an Ourea while kicking HEPHAESTUS out from TAU that she just gets up, turns to the others and basically goes thumbs up looking like she's this close to falling apart lmao

45. Poor MINERVA tho, must have been scared, but at least we managed to get GAIA up and working! Yay! Mother Nature as an AI is back!

46. Ok but like- Horizon having a base of operations in the game was something I never knew I needed. It's perfect and I just love how it becomes more and more like home with each passing mission, I just-

47. And so, the hunt for the subfunctions begins. I went from highest level to lowest first so I went with the order of DEMETER, POSEIDON and AETHER. How it went? Well-

51. As I was approached the ruins of Las Vegas to find POSEIDON, I was like "there is water somewhere under that desert, right?" There was. I just wasn't expecting so much of it lmao

52. For me Morlund and crew were a more bearable version of Gildun, I enjoyed hanging out of them, just realized that I never came back for them D:

53. And at last, AETHER. More complicated than I thought it'd be, because I literally had to fell half a mountain to get an event going. Aloy being a little gremlin in this one was so fun, and Kotallo was just so done with her sh*t lmao

56. We're going to San Francisco baby wooo! The things we saw there tho- *shudder*, I felt a very distinct sense of dread walking through the bunker

59. I really don't want to know what exactly was the thing I saw in that holo in the office, because whatever it was, it really didn't end well for him (he deserved it tho, f*ck Ted Faro)

60. So yeah, about point 58? Ted Faro's massive head crushed Ceo's... well... Everything. And the other guy just fell into the lava. Big yikes for both of them

63. When the Zeniths bust through the roof after capturing HEPHAESTUS: This is why we can't have nice things!

64. I'm in- genuine shock guys. He's dead. Varl's f*cking dead. And Beta and GAIA are gone too. Aloy swore to protect her and she failed. Aloy must feel like she failed both of them and that's as rock bottom as it can get, just great

66. Not gonna lie guys, I almost cried at the talk Aloy had with Zo about Varl. And she is with his child too?!

67. Damn, someone's gonna have to tell Sona now. I feel bad for her you know. First she lost Vala, and now her other child too, that's just so f*cking sad

68. Another reason why Varl dying was so impactful was that he was there since the beginning, you know? He followed Aloy into the forbidden ruins of the Old Ones back in the Sacred Lands. He followed her to Meridian to fight a threat he admits that he can't really understand, but he did that anyways. He tracked Aloy all the way out to the middle of nowhere to help her with her mission of finding GAIA. He found Aloy in the aftermath of Latopolis. He was so willing to come and help Aloy investigate the mysterious signal. He just trusted and cared for her and the rest of his friends so f*cking much, and he ultimately paid for it

69. "Can't I just mourn for the loss of my friend?" It was so heartbreaking to hear Erend say that-

70. While still dealing with the loss of a great friend, the team must still move on and find a way to stop the Zeniths for good. Using a small gift Beta gave us back in GEMINI and the knowledge Tilda provided us with, it's time to put an end to Regalla's rebellion...

71. WE CAN FLY, HOLY SH*T- (damn that escalated quickly)

72. In the most badass way you can imagine, Aloy swooped with her trusty Sunwing down in the battlefield between Hekarro's army and Regalla's and destroyed her machines

73. And then we finally face Regalla head on. Her boss fight was kinda like HFW's equivalent to Helis', but meaner, b*tchier and harder, it took forever lmao

74. With Sylens' uncovered plan foiled, Aloy gets to meet him again and makes a deal with him...

75. To close, Tilda and Sylens seem to be a match made in hell, nothing can possibly go wrong with these two in the same room s/

Tomorrow I'm finishing my first playthrough of the game (my gaming method is first playthrough being a speedrun of the story and the second and following playthroughs being a more loose and slow play of it with the side quests and activities and everything), so expect another blog on my thoughts on the finale too, though probably it won't be as long as this post since I wrote my thoughts on like 85% of the story lmao

Joochan hates Y/N so does she. They did not find a way to behave normally, without cursing or arguing with each other. But then they need to find their way to each other.

It all started at the age of 17 when Joochan and Y/N have started their junior year in high school. They argued so much that they both ended up in detention several times. Joochan always teased Y/N, and she didn't like it, so she defended herself. When it was finally time to go to college, she thought she would finally get rid of him and never see him again in her life. Joochan thought the same thing. It was until today. They met as Y/N hurried through the campus to her shift at a cafe nearby.

"Oh my god! Not you again, Y/L/N," you heard Joochan shouting at you from behind.

"Shut up, man. Return to the trash you came from," she yelled at him, running on to work.

As the days went by, they met more and more, not only on campus but also in the cafe where she worked.

"You must be kidding. What a coincidence to meet you here, Y/N," his arrogant voice was like an injection for her ears. Pretty annoying.

"Can you just order and go to hell, please?" she rolled her eyes, annoyed.

"You shouldn't talk to customers like that. Maybe I'll complain about you to your boss," he smirked, folding his arms on his chest.

"Try it once, and I'll kick your ass so much you won't sit on it for a month. Now please, order something," the blood in her veins began to harden.

"Was that supposed to scare me? You're still funny tho. One americano, please," he finally ordered. Y/N nodded, taking money from him. She turned around to make him the americano, so he could leave quickly.

"Here's your order. Don't come back, bye," she placed his order and smiled.

"I'll come back soon, don't worry," he grinned at her and left with a cup in his hand.

The wheater was awful for a few days since it was winter. It was freezing and snowing. It was late at night when Y/N's shift was over, and she was on her way to her apartment on campus. She barely saw anything because of the snowing. She was just in front of her apartment as she slipped on a frozen puddle, falling backward. But she didn't fall on the ground but in someone's arms.

"Hey hey, watch out," his voice was startled. He helped her stand up.

"Thank you for sav-" she turned to face her savior with a smile, but when she saw Joochan, her smile faded.

"You again. You should finish it," Joochan's provocative smile made her want to punch him.

"Thanks," she snapped at him.

"Ohoho, you should act more polite to someone who saved your ass," he came closer to her, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. His smile was still the same.

"Don't touch my hair! Am I touching your hair? Now I do," she tugged lightly at his hair to move him away.

"I was thinking lately about us two. Perhaps we could make a truce, high school is over, and we are old enough to stop behaving like children. Don't you think?" he tilted his head to the side and smiled kindly at her for the first time in their acquaintance.

"Are you trying my patience, or are you serious for the first time in your life?" she frowned, analyzing his look.

"I'm deadly serious. So, I promise you I won't make any jokes about you. I am not going to act like an arrogant idiot anymore. Here is my hand to prove that I am serious," he held out his hand to her, which she accepted after a moment's hesitation.

"Same for me. I'm going home. I could invite you for tea or coffee, but we have only made a truce. So I'll invite you when we know each other longer. See you later," she smiled nervously, leaving him on the spot. Joochan waited for her to enter her building, and then he went to the dormitory.

The next morning Y/N was preparing to go to the lecture, looking in the mirror to see if she had a crumpled shirt when she noticed that one of her strands of hair was blond.

"What the hell?" she took the strand of hair between her fingers and stared at it for a good 5 minutes.

"Am I still dreaming or what?"  she pinched herself, whimpering with pain.

"I don't know what to do with this," she sighed. She ended up making a bun, so the strand of hair wasn't very visible.

"I'll try to dye it when my classes end."

On the other side at the same time

Joochan was sleeping peacefully when his roommate woke him up with loud noises coming from the kitchen. He growled, rising reluctantly to see what was happening.

"Ah, Hyung. I didn't want to wake you up, but the pan slipped out of my hand when I wanted to make breakfast," the younger boy bowed to him with a silly smile.

"Are you okay?" Joochan looked in the fridge at what he would have for breakfast. He found some yogurt.

"Yes, I am. Hey, have you been to the hairdresser?" Bomin asked him, looking at Joochan's hair.

"No, why?" Joochan looked at him with confused eyes.

"You have a blonde strand of hair there," Bomin pointed at the hair. Joochan put the yogurt on the kitchen isle and went to the bathroom to look in the mirror. Indeed there was one strand of blond hair.

"What am I suppose to do with you?" she talked to the hair. She grabbed the phone, searching for an explanation for why the strand of hair had turned blonde out of nowhere. She couldn't find much. When, after a long search, she found a forum where one girl had the same problem. At the end of her post, she wrote that it appeared when she met her soulmate.

For perhaps the hundredth time, she had tried to dye the strand of hair to black. But it didn't work like always. She was in despair. She didn't know what to do with it.

She sat on the bathtub, holding the strand between fingers.

"Maybe, I've met my soulmate too."

It was Friday evening, Joochan was coming to her place. It's been three weeks after their truce, they became friends and sometimes went out to eat together, but most of all, they had a literary project. She was waiting outside the building when her apartment was. Joochan finally appeared.

"Hey. I brought some chicken for us," he grinned at her, walking in.

"Thanks! I haven't eaten yet. Can we eat first and then look up at the project?" she asked him, closing the door behind him.

"Okay, that sounds fine," he nodded. Y/N noticed that he has a blonde strand of hair too.

"Have you been to the hairdresser?" she asked him, sitting on the couch.

"I was just about to ask you the same question," he sat next to her, placing the bag with chicken on the small table in front of them.

"I asked first," she winked at him, which made his cheeks blush lightly.

"I wasn't. The day after our truce, I woke up, and Bomin pointed that out. He tried to dye the strand of hair, but it didn't work. So I let it be. What about you?" he looked at her. He saw the shock in her eyes. She was silent, making Joochan a little bit worried.

"Y/N? Are you okay?" he asked cautiously.

"Uhm. I don't know. I am just thinking about something," she said, still looking shocked.

"About what?" Joochan tilted his head, waiting for her response.

"I have the same story as you. I have the strand of hair blonde from the day after our truce. I was wondering what could have caused it. So I searched and found one post about a girl whose strand of hair turned blonde. That strand

was touched by her soulmate," she said, looking at him to see if he didn't find it as strange as she did.

"Are you trying to tell me that you are my soulmate?" his eyes were shocked, as were hers.

"Nobody except you touched my hair. I am shocked because we used to be enemies, and now we are soulmates," she shrugged.

"Yeah, it's weird, but if that's the case, we should try it," Joochan leaned closer to her face, kissing her on the lips. She placed her palm on his cheek, deepening their kiss.
