“....what are you doing?” Arlo deadpans, watching Y/N adjust the blonde wig on their head.

“It’s Halloween.” Y/N remarks with complete casualty as if they weren’t dressed exactly like Arlo except with a full face of dramatic, yassified make up and long nails. Arlo stares at them, rendered speechless as he tries to process a reaction that won’t completely hurt their feelings. Y/N looks at him in confusion. “What? Do you not know who I am?” 

Their face furrows into an angry expression and they clack their nails. “Preesh the hierarchy.” They bark dramatically. “Werk that ability girlie. You’re not a bad bitch if you’re under high tier, periodt.” 

“...why?” Arlo huffs and Y/N crosses their arms. 

“I’m a material gurl!” 

A heavy sigh leaves Arlo and he wipes a hand down his face. “....okay…” He finally huffs, turning away.

“Hell yeah, bestie. Let’s go enforce the hierarchy.” Y/N clicks their nails, bouncing along after him.

🍬CandyAnon here! I just wanted to say I love the new fic, and happy birthday to the receiver! Also, imagine the family going back to the zoo when Anna is 18 and Dark getting shat on by a bird again, and Anti and Anna laughing their heads off... Think about it... Sorry to bother you, keep up the good work! 🍬

Oh my God, yes!

They show up and Annalise mostly remembers what happened the last time they were here, most of the memory was from Anti telling the story multiple times over the years. 

Dark gets the map and they follow the same path. Anti starts squawking, trying to find his old bird friend and is sad to see that they weren’t there anymore. Dark has no complaints. 

It’s even harder this time around to get Annalise away from the butterflies, she finds herself in a trance as she looks at a monarch one, their orange wings making her heart ache a little. 

Dark jokes about tying Annalise to the table when they sit down for lunch, actually being able to eat their food. Anti also couldn’t help himself from asking if he could start some drama so they would have a show. Annalise wanted a show as well and Dark told both of them that they are going to eat in peace. 

Anti was waving at the monkeys while Dark stood with him and when he turned his head, he noticed that Annalise was gone. Anti said that Annalise was old enough to be on her own without worry, but they both looked for her anyways. 

They were not expecting to find her at the tiger section, sitting on the ground with a tiger laying in front of her. She was reaching through the holes of the fence to pet her head. Annalise wanted to go in the area so badly and she glared at one of the workers who was telling her to not touch the tiger. Dark placed a hand on the worker’s shoulder and whispered something into his ear. The worker blinked several times and walked away, going nowhere, but not staying there. 

Dark and Anti let Annalise spend the rest of the day with the tiger, they have a very, very long time to come back to the zoo another day and see the rest of it. 

Dark was loving this. He loved the calm moments. The happy moments. He never wanted it to end. 

That was until there was a bird cry and something white plopping on his shoulder. Anti and Annalise laughed loudly as Dark’s face scrunched up. 

He still hated the zoo.

okay so i don't know if you're ready for this one because whenever I look at it I just have this certain scenario in my head. Brace yourself for the softest of gifs i have ever encountered:

"Mommy? Mommy look!" Mark proudly exclaimed trying to get your attention but you were busy with decorating the christmas tree.

You didn't want Mark to drop the christmas decoration as it was expensive and he might hurt himself.

"Just let mommy finish this up and I'll come look in a minute." and true to your words you finished within a minute making your way to see what your baby was doing.

"Look mommy I drew this!" Mark happily exclaimed and handed you a picture of you and him holding hands. It amazed you how well Mark drew even in little space when he lost most over his other abilities he managed to draw quite well. Your silence worried him and he chewed on his bottom lip before shakily asking.

"Do you not like it?"

"Oh no baby the exact opposite I love the picture! We'll hang it on the fridge for everyone to see what my talented pretty boy drew for me." You could see his easy light up before he excitedly asked

"Really? Did I do good?"

"The best!" You answered before peppering his face in kisses and that's when your favorite thing in the world happened: he smiled.
