when i was a kid, my favourite colour was yellow.

this of course means my favourite flowers were daffodils, despite how infrequently i saw them. in the house i grew up in, though, we had one, maybe two plants that bloomed every spring.

since we had so few, my mother was always protective of the flowers, always warning myself and my siblings away from them, and she'd get so upset if we picked a daffodil that we were too scared to.

my dad knew, though, that they were my favourite, and as intimidating as my dad was, he was also a soft hearted and kind man, and he loved his kids more than anything, and every spring he'd pick a daffodil and give it to me just to see me happy. he took the blame every time, no matter how much it irked my mother.

this last july marked the six year anniversary of my dads passing, and while sometimes its hard to remember the best of him, every spring i get to see daffodils blooming wherever i go and remember what it felt like to be carried by him to the house, daffodil stem crushed in my small hands without a thought because i was so focused on the love my dad showed for me

Lighter is sexy and all but what's sexier is just kissing his scars, even the little one reaching his buttcheek, this man should be caressed and needs to be pampered especially when he's naked non sexual nudity and intimacy is so underrated

No literally! I know I've been going on and on and on about how sexy Lighter is, and how good he is in bed, but my favorite thing is non-sexual intimacy. And I know that Lighter loves non-sexual intimacy too, probably more than most people might.

For the longest time, he was seen as just a body. Sure, sure it wasn't sexual, but that's all he was. Lighter's worth was how hard he could hit, how many punches he could take, and how long he could stay standing in a fight. Sexual intimacy, in a lot of ways, makes him feel the same way. Like he's just how hard he can fuck, or the only thing that matters is the size of his dick.

So when you gently draw your fingers over his scars, pressing feather-light kisses over the marred skin, he feels seen. He feels loved. He feels like a person. There's no motive behind what you're doing, no reason for you to press gentle touches to such ugly parts -- reminders of his past -- yet you do.

You do it because you love him, as a person. You want him to know how much you adore every part of him, even the ones that he finds ugly or disgusting because that's what love is. He just never felt it before now. He never knew what it meant to be loved, not until you were tracing the edges of his scars with your soft lips like he was something to be worshipped.

It makes him cry, hard. But then you come up and you kiss the tears away, whispering sweet nothings in his ears. He believes every word that leaves your mouth. Every praise, every declaration of love, all of it.

You take the time to show him, without a shadow of a doubt, that you love Lighter because he's Lighter. Not because he's the champion, not because he knows all the good spots deep inside you, but because he is your person. Because you are his.

Danny is enjoying his vacation. He’s surrounded by so many creatures who are delighted to show him around, and there’s a bunch that are even called ghosts! Those ones seem to have deemed him as their favorite person, which isn’t hard, but they have also apparently decided that they have to follow him everywhere, including all the way home. And to whatever world he takes his next vacation-slash job as Clockwork’s student at.

Bit of an unpopular head canon but what if Eddie loves Christmas. While I imagine his fav is Halloween, what if he doesn’t hate Christmas the way people expect. Maybe it’s when he baked Christmas cookies with his mum and she sang Christmas songs with him, when uncle Wayne would come over dressed as Santa and he would light up! When the trailer felt cosy under blankets and showings of the grinch cartoon played on tv. And everyone expects him to scoff at capitalism and consumerism at this time of year so he plays up to it, rants to anyone who’ll listen to keep up the act. But it’s really filled with cosy memories and times where his mum and Wayne made the effort for little Eddies happiness!!!
