Being a batfam fan is funny because people will make a post like “here’s my headcanon-“ and it’s just something that’s directly canon to the story then post about major canon events and get everything wrong.

#this post was inspired by me remembering the experience of reading death in the family #after only knowing the fanbase version and realizing oh none of that shit happened okay #like girl you don’t understand it’s so bad #Jason wasn’t even fired as Robin #He’s not accused of murdering anyone by Bruce #He’s not trying to prove himself at all he’s just looking for his mom #The reason Bruce didn’t go after him right away is because he was tracking down a goddamn nuke the Joker stole #Then after he finds it and handles the problem he helps Jason track down moms 2 and 3 #Also Jason died in like 20 minutes?? even less??#He died in less time than it took his mother to smoke a cigarette #Bruce literally went ‘wait here I’ll be right back’ and was gone for less time than a trip to the grocery store #and then you go into the Jason Todd tag and they act like Bruce pulled the damn trigger on him #Like besties I don’t know how to tell you this he basically did everything right he possibly could have #Even him benching Jason from Robin temporarily happens so that he can get Jason into therapy about his trauma #Like the whole point is that neither of them did anything wrong bad shit just sometimes happens #That’s the tragedy. A Batfam AU where instead of going to get Dick to be Robin again Tim uses necromancy to bring Jason back from the dead. He just leaves Jason on the Wayne doorstep with a 'do better this time' sticky note. Batman can't find out who did it and Tim stays his little latchkey self with semi ok but distant parents (cus canonical they weren't really abusive just not there which isn't good but they could be worse). His parents bring him along on trips but again they love him but they just leave him to do as he pleases. so in Paris he ends up still getting trained by Lady Shiva. This keeps going and Tim just keeps reviving batfam members, if they fake their deaths and Tim tracks them down to check on them. They still have no idea who their shadow is, they can't find him, Tim likes it this way. Bruce goes MIA and Red Robin happens just minus Tim actually being Red Robin. The JLA doorstep gets a passed-out Batman with a 'I can't believe I have to keep doing this shit' sticky note on his head.

#I love how out of so many callbacks in E41 (and even a direct E01 flashback) we also get this tiny little E01 callback #I love how Mahidevran immediately steps in to assure her son that she won't leave him in *any* uncertainty that may come #whether it's about them both facing the unknown future in Topkapi for the first time that would truly point to the separation Mustafa fears #(but rather separation from Süleiman and Ibrahim for *both* Musti and Mahi right from the start that Musti will sense and not take well)#or *someone else* facing an unknown future with the *exact* seperation attached to it that Mustafa fears - separation from mom #(and Musti relates and sympathizes with that situation instead perhaps namely due to whatever separation he's experienced)#(also Musti having grown fonder of his brothers as well; this whole gifset can sorta sum up Mustafa's development #re: his feelings for his brothers up until now but that will be a post for another day:))#I love how both scenes are staged with the direction emphasizing the vastness of the castle in E01 making Musti and Mahi smaller as if #they are sucked in already before even entering there but they still lean on each other seeking each other like a child seeks #his mother's closeness and E41 being set in Mahi's chambers the castle having already become their home and Musti getting this #accustomed that he has his own chambers already and goes to his mother's just to visit but always feeling at ease & the same goes for Mahi #they're already used to some distance and it is even encouraged to an extent (E34) but they're always there for each other #and Mahi gets joyful relief of SS calling hse in her chambers instead of the frantic nervousness that overtook her in E01 #when SS didn't even *visit* her and her son; Mustafa gets a little sad look when SS calls her here instead of the insistence for #SS and Ibrahim to come but he goes to his room calmly & respectfully anyway for his mother to have her moment while in E01 he couldn't see #anything outside of his father's absense and of course he's like that he's a child but it's like they've all grown up and come so far aww #also the reversal of their positions in the two scenes and them talking on equal footing <33 #just me fangirling all around for no reason <33 #magnificent century #muhteşem yüzyıl #muhtesem yuzyil #mahidevran sultan #sehzade mustafa

yeah (almost) every goldwood is a ginger!!! i lime and his sister are both gingers, i think they get it from their....dad..??? i havent decided that yet, but in any case their mom is also beautiful...upholding the goldwood reputation....and YES mochi and limes child is eventually a ginger as well hehe

i havent really talked about mochis dad..i dont even have a name for him yet (though dango is a strong name contender bc its a cute name and i havent used it on anyone yet but we'll see) but the best comparison i could make of him is that hes very gallagher-esq from hsr...that kinda gruffy laid back dilf energy. imagine a middle-aged battle hardened guy with mochis hair color (and also maybe the mochi hair fluff??)

as far as occupation its also up in the air bc i havent fleshed him out yet but i see him as the kind of person who has a lot of responsibility/people to take care of and also has to move around a lot, like the leader of the northern merchant caravans or something, and is also potentially related to/in the guild of another witch, which is why tiramisu didnt stay with him in the first place.. the kind of thing where you cant have too many powerful witches in one place and he actually did love her but had obligations to the other witch already... previous crow witch maybe???
