            n  it  looks  funny  .  :(((  i  know  ,  but  we’re  not  done  !!!  what  ur  gna  do  now  is  right  click  on  ur  png  layer  n  click  duplicate  layer  !

            n  a  lil  popup  shld  come  up  ,  so  jus  hit  OK  on  her  ,  n  now  u  shld  hav  three  layers  !!!  ur  blob  on  the  bottom  ,  n  then  the  two  pngs  !

            so  ,  now  ur  gna  select  ur  first  png  layer  ,  which  shld  b  ur  middle  layer  ›  right  click  ›  create  clipping  mask  !  

            n  it  won’t  look  like  anything  has  changed  ,  but  if  u  click  that  lil  eye  next  to  ur  png  copy  layer  ,  it’ll  look  like  like  this  now  !

            which  we  don’t  rly  want  !!!  so  ,  hit  that  lil  eye  again  ,  to  get  us  back  to  what  we  had  before  ,  n  now  ur  gna  make  sure  the  png  copy  layer  is  selected  ,  go  all  the  way  over  to  select  ,  n  grab  ur  eraser  tool  !!!  we’re  gna  erase  away  all  the  lil  extra  bits  of  the  png  at  the  bottom  that  aren’t  inside  the  blob  !  so  ,  once  u  do  that  ,  ur  icon  shld  look  like  this  !!!  ^-^

            n  u  can  change  the  colour  of  the  blob  by  right  clicking  ur  blob  layer  ›  blending  options  ›  colour  overlay  !  

            pick  ur  colour  usin  the  lil  window  n  such  !  u  jus  need  to  click  on  that  coloured  box  —  it’s  black  for  me  rn  ,  but  it  might  b  a  diff  colour  for  u  !  click  on  it  n  a  hex  colour  picker  will  pop  up  !!!  so  jus  choose  ur  colour  (  i  jus  chose  a  darker  pink  )  n  hit  OK  !

            after  u  do  that  ,  our  png  will  look  smth  like  this  :(  which  is  icky  sticky  .

            but  fear  not  !  u  jus  need  to  right  click  on  ur  blob  layer  again  ›  n  click  rasterize  layer  style  !

            n  tada  !!!  isn’t  she  prettie  !!!

            n  make  sure  to  export  it  as  a  png  ,  otherwise  it  won’t  save  right  !  n  i  typically  follow  similar  steps  for  graphics  ,  jus  w  a  bigger  canvas  n  such  ,  n  yea  !!!  then  ur  free  2  embellish  it  all  u  want  !!!  ^-^

But… everyday, I’d stop t’ feed him on my way home. I started keepin’ bags of cat food around the gym, just so before I left I could give him his dinner before I walked back t’ my apartment. After a while… I got a soft spot for this lil’ thing. I mean, like, he was jus’ so… tiny. I think he mighta been the runt of his litter or somethin’, because he was so skinny and frail, an’ I jus’ felt bad. He started t’ sit an’ wait for me t’ walk past jus’ before I left, though, an’… it was cute, really.

I ended up takin’ him home one night. T-There was a massive storm, an’ it really looked like he was gonna keel over or somethin’, with his little legs shakin’ like that. I jus’ couldn’t leave him there.

I must have looked fuckin’ mad, sprintin’ home with this little kitten in my arms like that, but… at the time, I didn’t care. If nobody else wanted t’ take care of ‘im, I was gonna do it.

So… He stayed wit’ me for a while, in m’ apartment. He got bigger– er, sorry… He evolved. I had no idea at the time he was a Pokemon. I jus’ assumed he was gettin’ healthier with how chunky he was startin’ t’ get and stuff. He was a pretty massive cat, actually. But… y’know, he was still a stray, an’ he must of decided he didn’t wanna stay home anymore. I jus’… woke up one mornin’, and he wasn’t at the end of m’ bed. An’ he jus’, never came back home.

I’ve taken in stray cats before, an’– an’ I know they are, like, inclined t’ run away after some time. They were born wild, an’ it kinda breaks m’ heart everytime it happens, but… I-It’s just how things are. With the new Smash tournament ahead of me, it was hard, tryin’ to look for him an’ pack all m’ stuff together an’ plan travel an’ what have you. Needless t’ say, I didn’t see him again…

An’ speakin’ of Smash, lemme fast forward t’ the fight I had wit’ Ken. Listen, I know I lost, but I was totally whalin’ on ‘im for the first half. He caught me off guard though with that big fireball thing he fuckin’ launched at me, an’ after that I was jus’… thrown off. His finally smash fuckin’ flung me right into the display. I have never felt pain like it- I was achin’ for fuckin’ weeks.

I was told there’d be another newcomer makin’ an appearance shortly after him, though, jus’ t’ keep the crowd hyped up. An’ I’m like, sure, whatever, but… after I was blown outta the water, I wasn’t interested in stickin’ about to see the conclusion. So I jus’… I went back t’ my room to kinda sulk for a bit. I mean, I-I’m used t’ losin’ in this competition, but that doesn’t mean I’m not gonna be mad about it. I can only keep up so much before I lose m’ rythym wit’ some of the moves that get pulled around here…

So… I was kinda lickin’ my wounds, as Doc would put it. I was pissed off at m’ self. I usually leave m’ door unlocked f’ Doc after a match, jus’ because he’ll always come in an’ give me a big fuckin’ pep talk about ‘next time, son, you’ll get them next time!’, an’ all that… T’ be honest, I wasn’t in the mood t’ hear it. I was tired, I was in fuckin’ agony, an’ I felt like I was ‘boutta pass out at any given moment…

I heard the door open, an’ I’m like, here we go. Doc’s gonna try an’ pull m’ ass outta the dumps. An’ I’m jus’ gonna hafta sit an’ listen. Wit’ how this story’s goin’, though, that didn’t happen. Obviously. I jus’ kinda stop bandagin’ myself up, waitin’ for Doc t’ say somethin’. But… nothin’ happened.

Imagine my shock when I turn around, an’ see this big bloody cat man stood in my doorway. For a second, I didn’t even realise it were a fuckin’ cat… He must have seen how I got m’ ass walloped by Ken an’ tracked me down after his match wit’ him. I have never seen a cat look… concerned before.

But it was like… Like de javu. The black an’ red fur jus’… made somethin’ click inside my head.

This is my fuckin’ cat, I thought. It’s him! He’s back! I had no fuckin’ idea he was a Pokemon ‘till that exact moment. I mean, in retrospect, it was obvious- y’ don’t see a bright red cats wanderin’ the streets– not in New York, anyway!

I… I cried. I cried a lot. I really fuckin’ did, man. I missed him so much, an’… an’ he came back t’ me, all grown up! He even gave Ken an ass kickin’ on my behalf, too! Couldja believe it?! He really did that! My boy really did that for me!!

An’… An’ he’s never left m’ side since. I love Jalapeño. I’m… I’m happy t’ be his owner. Er, trainer, sorry. I ain’t used t’ these Pokemon terms, right now… Aha.”
