first of all: i really like your streams! Every time you tell some story about your real life you sound so pathetic that I immediately feel better about my own mediocre one!!!
also wanted to ask, could you maybe warn us if you're gonna do some of the more gory stuff the next time? I showed the stream where you cut your arm off to my neighbour I was babysitting (4yo) and he hasn't stopped shaking. it has been over a week. the parents refuse to pay me.

Are your gijinkas (race wise) based on the actors for the most part or the pokemons design for the most part? I'm curious to know :3
I don't really have a definitive answer for this, but when think abt it, it's a bit all over the place if that makes sense??
Like some of them aren't really a specific race (Like 4est, Pastey, and Lark), some are based on the actors (Like Jayweed and the Mykyie redesign I plan on posting soon) and some are based on the Pokemon's design (Sara and Braidy I think are good examples of this)
Tbh the only one who doesn't fall into either one of these categories is Grunpilo, that weird little freak.
#I hope this makes sense im rlly sorry if I worded it weird or made it sound confusing#Honestly Grunpilo just spawned into existence while I was drawing concept designs for other characters#and hes looked the same ever since#like the others have gone through at least a few small changes but not Grunpilo#I dont even remember how I created his design except for the fact that I wanted Grunpilo to be a lil puppeteer#and the rest is history#i didnt expect to be rambling abt Grunpilo in the tags but here i am lmao#Also i specifically mentioned the Mykyie redesign bc I barely knew anything abt Mikey when I first got into friendlocke#and my dumbass ended up making his first gijinka design WHITE!!!1! do u ever see comments on posts and artwork full of effort and thought and passion etc and like. think about that post that talks about how people have the darndest time interacting with art without trying to crack a joke about it. is it really so boring to take someone's art seriously? is it necessary to demean someone's efforts, however unintended, for a 'joke' that consists of you being like "ooOOoOh how weird lol!!" like i don't want or mean to be a killjoy. but i think about that post a lot. like y do u need to add a punchline to something that doesn't need one. who asked u. why does it need to be funny. and u don't even have the decency to acknowledge its merit ;/

how do u do. colors. the colors in your art r so pretty how do u do it
fucking w/ gradient maps and filters for 1020320030 hours
#NO BUT RLLY#once you realize 1)your lightsource can be any color and 2)your shading can be any color and 2) your base white and black can be any color#it gets rlly fun#just fuck w/ it!!!!! if u want colors to look warm move it closer to red if you want colors to be cooler move it closer to blue etc etc.#OH ALSO. if u use csp or have access to making gradient maps u should totally try out making ur own. it rlly lets u Get colors more idk#i am not an expert tho. </3 ive learned a lot abt colors thru trial and error. sorry a lot of this is either Basic Tips or 'Uhhhhh IDK'#if u want i can go looking 4 tutorials i find more. enlightening ???? idk.

I feel bad I haven’t bought any dvds in like years I think… I was better at buying movies I really loved on dvd when I was a teenager I think until I figured out how to watch stuff illegally LOL but at least I’m collecting vhs tapes now smile
#n to be fair I do always check the dvds at like goodwill n stuff they just never have smth I want lol#I was just a little more proactive abt it especially when I was a kid & well you had to but I kept doing it into my teen years after Netflix#got invented bc I’m simply a big physical media enjoyer <3 I was so mad when I had to get a new laptop w/o a disc drive even tho the 1 on my#janky old thing was so smashed up I couldn’t even use it 😭 but my 1 stipulation of the new laptop was I also had to get a usb disc drive 4it#I should also collect more cds I’m just not as charmed by them as I am cassettes & records I just have a few from my dads old collection#BUT I kind of want 2 get a mobile cd player like I had when I was rlly little before I got iPod n then I might be more invested in buying cd#I also rlly want a Walkman for my cassettes my moms friend gave me 1 but it didn’t work :( right now I just have a very uncute radio that#plays both. oh I should put more stickers on it so I feel better abt it I always forget to consider it when I get new stickers…..#sorry I just <3 physical media so much always have someday my house is just going to be lined with it <3

I have a random idea for some sagau crack loosely based on my dynamic with my friend so Im giving it to you because I have been enjoying your sagau language stuff :D
Imagine there are two readers that are two different people. Like, not as in clones they are just two separate people that are rlly good friends on earth. They both really like genshin and play the game, and they both have self aware teyvat citizens. Reader 1 is a whale. They invest a l o t of money on the game, have all the characters, and all the characters have five star weapons. They are like the usual sagau reader you see. They have used up so much money on getting all of the characters, and I mean A L L of them, best weapons, constellations and put a lot of care into it. The place where they really get to show off is their knowledge and love for the lore, and are really invested into it and read all of the artifact descriptions and books. They know about primordial one, the four shining shades, random useless facts about items and often rant to reader 2 about their theories. Their quest bar is always empty because they did them to check out the lore of the game, and are always searching for more lore. They basically play everyday and are always reacting and talking to the characters out loud, unaware that they can hear them.
Meanwhile, Reader 2 is a f2p who is only interested in the archon quest lore and the lore of their fav characters. Because they are f2p, their options are limited so there is some blatant favoritism. They choose their fav character to save up for, and then pull for them. After they get the character they want, they will no longer pull and save up from there. Because of this, they only have like 5 five stars and only have zero five star weapon. Their favourite character is their main(*cough* wanderer *cough*), and unlike reader 1 who uses all of their characters regularly, reader 2 sticks to this character for most of their gameplay unless they need to use someone else. However, reader 2 takes almost an entire month to finish building a character, because they go overboard with the artifact stats. You would expect to normally have a 50 180 crit ratio, but reader 2’s dps characters always, and I mean ALWAYS have 50 200 crit ratio or more. Like, their main (it doesnt have to be wanderer but Im putting him here anyways) has 70 and 200 crit ratio, is crowned, full 4 pc best in slot, and is even crowned and faruzan only needs like 200 er but reader 2 gave them 300. (Im totally not putting this here because this is what I did/j) Reader 2 is also the type to never speak while gaming, so the first time they spoke everyone turned it into a national holiday to be celebrated. They also play a lot less than player 1. Player 1 plays everyday while player 2 plays for a month straight and then takes a long break to wait for the content to pile up.
So these two gremlin besties are always speaking with each other, and are always on coop. Whenever player 1 needs help making team comps or building characters, they just ask player 2 for help. And whenever player 2 needs help understanding the lore of the game, they ask player 1. But all I can think abt is the first time they cooped. Imagine player 1 was using childe and then when the coop starts, both childe and wanderer are very confused as to wtf is going on. Like, childe is confused because he sensed a strange aura coming form them like whenever someone gets controlled by reader 1, and wanderer is confused because reader 2 seemed so excited that they were talking, but its just childe? Reader 2 always skips childe’s banners.

like shrines/temples/churches showing up more often in new countries/areas and always identifying the same 2 gods
obv the for-the-lore player picked up on it first, and by the time the trickle-down effect happened, where characters/NPCs were outright talking about these gods, the 2nd was asking the lore knower to explain lol
the 2 gods kept getting referred to by a few names, like “The Soldier and the Scholar” or “The Sage and the Warrior” or “The Keeper and the Pursuer” etc.
after awhile of comparing both of your games, you realize that some vision users/gods tend to use the soldier/warrior/pursuer titles more often when talking about one of you, and the other gets the sage/scholar/keeper more often
u both get excited, maybe its bc you chose diff travelers or some other reason, but when u try and post abt it or otherwise ask other players u get a lot of negatives/”hasnt happened for me”s??
u both just think the games glitched or some dev is playing a prank on you two maybe,
it gets weirder when u both realize the lore player be over here getting random gifts from all the characters in the mail all the time
and just as grinding players like “ :’( my favs don't like me?? but they have the best artifacts and maxed friendship levels..”
they get flooded with multiple gifts from their main characters, most of which benefit the grind tbh lmao (like a bunch of cheaper materials or crystals to level up artifacts/weapons or to ascend that character = no more slaughtering every samurai on sight for their handguards or collected a fuckton of those blue layered mushrooms for wanderer)
god u were both grateful to this glitch ngl, it saved a lot of dumb misc tasks and was just a nice touch
no but the amount of confusion inside the game from when u first started playing together, like each of ur games began with stuff abt 1 god, then as u co-oped moved onto 2 gods (like said at the beginning)
the lore player is blabbing away like you do, which begins to be heard by the other player’s game world
like it starts as whispers in battle, then all the time, then a quiet convo in the background all the time, until they can just hear u out of earshot esp word for word when they focus!! at first the vision-users/gods got all excited bc their god was speaking!! finally!!! until I'm sure they heard narration that didn't fit/it was there sometimes even when their god’s presence wasn't?/voice sounded “off” to them/didnt fit their god…??

u two scare the shit out of any characters u do this with lol
they do get used to it as u talk, and the characters even manage to interact (thru hacking magical shenanigans and discord)
to send thank you gifts to player 1 for getting player 2 to talk more lol
along with sending copies of any lore books that player 2 has gotten that player 1 hasn't!
and it becomes common/tradition to exchange gifts like this to thank or appreciate the other god, like player 1 characters sending thank you gift copies of rare materials or ascension stuff that player 1 had that player 2 didn't (esp making sure to send during resinless hours lmao)
overall, 10/10, whats better than 1 god that plays one way? 2 gods that compensate for each other and now u have 2x the worshippers
(i wonder how meeting alternate versions of themselves would go, bc id like to headcanon that each of ur behavior towards them/ur unique influence has changed them a bit comparing, like they arent carbon copies anymore, not like they used to be…)

#i havent seen any showcase of his c6 so maybe the cores keep exploding instantly constantly with it#and in any case im not looking for the best bloom team im looking for a functional bloom team#with kveh nilou koko and a dendro that isnt n*hida and where i can spin to win with kveh bc its funny#hmmm wait i just read his kit details again and how i understood is that even with c6 fastest he can explode the cores#is every 3s? also all of his buffs are just from him either 1. using his burst or 2. triggering a bloom reaction#as in NOT from him rupturing them. so even if nilou caused all of the explosions all the buffs would be the same#so esp as its extremely easy to stack loads of em on kveh its good to have an applier of massive aeo hydro like koko#and have him take ownership of the cores (again i know dendro on hydro makes 1 less core and im not looking for nilou#+ n*hida levels of cracked comps)#idk maybe im stupid and im wrong even abt this 'functional even tho its not great' assessment of this comp#but literally every discussion abt this online turns into 'dont use them n*hida is better' so i wouldnt know#hhhhhh its gonna be so painful to build him tho with his burst being so expensive#do you think er sands + double dendro + fav on nilou is enough?#bc i rlly wanna put mailed flower on him bc the em is more than an artifact mainstat and the atk is useful for c6#(oops aoe*. accidentally wrote aeo at one point sorry its 4 am 😩)

okay so i am. so confused! are you a system/plural after all?
you made a post on your twitter about being the "original host" which is. a plural term of course but ALSO i'd like to say that the idea of there being an "original" is veeery misleading and not actually possible in DID/OSDD
the reason DID/OSDD exists at all is because a child's identity was unable to fully form in their developmental years, so the identity splits off and fractures into several parts necessary to keep the child safe. because of this, there can be no "original host" because there was never an identity formed that could be considered the "core," in a way, at all. it gives off the idea that there was one set identity that split off others later on in life, which isnt how DID/OSDD works in terms of alter formation
also, the disorder can only be developed in your early formative years, so its mostly unheard of for a system to go through life with a single part only to split off later on. your brain splits off alters in response to stressors or traumatic experiences, and so when the disorder is formed there would have to have been a fracture from the beginning where your identity wasnt able to come together to form a single one. multiple alters can be "original," in a sense, but there is not one sole original
i suppose that other alters could have simply been integrated and so they arent a part of your system anymore (leaving you as the "original host"), but thats probably not my place to explore and its all a bit too complicated for a tumblr ask
there are parts that have been around longer than all the other parts and there are parts that identify with/as the body or the head of the system, buuuut i just wanted to share that tidbit of information because misinformation can be very harmful when it comes to healthy plurality!!
in any case, dont let this cause you to spiral into more self-doubt because — surprise! DID/OSDD is supposed to be hard to understand or identify within yourself. its a trauma disorder formed to make you as functional as possible, so generally the disorder tries very hard to hide your other parts from you as to protect you from those traumas. being confused is a major part of plurality, and most long-term hosts do have the misconception of being "original" because there was no reason to think otherwise.
its also fully possible that you have been the host for the majority (or entirety) of your life, so dont get me wrong! im just trying to share that the idea of an "original" alter isnt possible.
regardless of whether or not you're plural, i wish you the best in exploring yourself and the way that your brain functions. you're doing great, truly!
and if i misinterpreted anything, im deeply sorry for that too. i'm just a stranger on the internet trying to provide input using the information i was given, and i genuinely dont mean any offense by this ask. DID/OSDD is also something i'm very interested in and passionate about as an autistic individual, so... im very sorry for the essay

i guess my post moreso came from the concern that i only have vry vry spotty, fuzzy, sometimes FAKE memories of my childhood, if any at all (id say i remember less than 1% of it, and most of what i "remember" is only becuz of photo evidence or testimony from other ppl) and my identity only rlly formed when i joined the internet at maybe 12 yrs old. so i sometimes have doubts that i formed when the body was born, but rather that i was created and that im a product of the internet inparticular, but that might also be a delusion??? its confusing, whenever i get ideas abt my identity they turn out 2 be fake sometimes. its hard 2 pinpoint what i am. so i was trying 2 say that i dont think ive been here since the birth of the body and that i spawned later on. idk if im explaining myself correctly, its hard 4 me 2 understand. but i appreciate u correcting me and explaining it 2 me in a way thats easy 4 me 2 digest!!! i dont want 2 spread misinfo evr.
i think im plural??? ive had liek 8 headmates (and a headspace at one point) that ive been able 2 identify, but nobodys rlly taken me srsly abt it until vry vry recently. ive always been told that im making it up 4 attention, or that im faking DID, and i was even told by a dumbass doctor that it was just my autism and that they were all imaginary. i nvr rlly claimed 2 be plural either, i always just got shot down whenevr i introduced the possibility of there being other sentient ppl in my brain. but i think that i am, probably. im not sticking 2 any labels atm becuz im confused and uneducated abt my headmates and im not diagnosed w anything, but i feel comfy with plural as a label becuz its a vague umbrella term. i nevr claimed 2 have DID becuz ive always known that my headmates cant front and take over my body (ive even asked one and she told me she couldnt LOL) ALTHOUGH. they MIGHT be able 2 front simultaneously as me, ive had edgy (whos currently dormant) finish art 4 me if i got tired, back in 2020 when he was still active. and i know alters fronting is a diagnostic requirement for DID (i think???) but i dunno. theres SOMETHING up w my brain.
i tried 2 post abt it on twitter actually, that i thought i was plural (a handful of ppl asked me so i wanted 2 confirm) but i deleted the post like an hour later becuz i wasnt getting any comments or likes and i was scared that i did something wrong and didnt know, or that im not actually plural and other plural ppl were mad at me 4 using their label. it made me so anxious >n<
