ALL HONESTY i do think Rick has it in him to be a comforting presence if you catch him at the right time. It’s one of the pros of being someone sort of … new… in his life: even though he’s fucked up in front of you before, he also hasn’t exactly… traumatized you, if that makes sense?

When he’s with Beth, there’s always going to be her memories of abandonment by him, and with Morty and Summer, there’s the anxiety that comes from their youth and all the resentment it bears for having been thru some of the things that he put them thru.

But with you? There’s no preexisting relationship to damage. There’s no history of turmoil that was caused by his actions, no baggage that needs unpacking, or even something good in your memory for him to ruin. There’s simply just you and Rick as you met, for all that entails; the good, the bad, and the ugly.

And in the same way Rick is learning to be more gentle with his family (especially after all this time), he’s learning to be gentle with his partners, too. Doesn’t mean he’s not thee Rick Sanchez anymore, smartest man in the universe, all logic and sarcasm and cold ferocity in the face of taking what belongs to him…

Just that there are moments now, becoming more and more frequent as he heals, where he’s able to find a little something warm inside himself just for someone he cares about, maybe even loves—when an adventure went rough and suddenly he’s sweating a little bit to prove to you everything’s okay. When you need a little pep talk in the morning to get you out of bed, and he’s there with a spank or a snuggle to get you smiling and ready for day. Or moments when you get home at two am and he’s already waiting for you with half a drink to share, a movie on and open arms for you to fall asleep in.

Rick almost forgot he even knew how to be a loving man. But being with you is reminding the world, is reminding him, too, that he’s always been a little soft and loving at heart.

How would yan husband react to a wife reader who likes a lot of plushies, and is more of that coquette aesthetic (pink, lace, bows, etc.) than the sophisticated, timeless classic look he’d prefer her to have?

I’m cracking up thinking about when they both were dating, with then girlfriend reader, leaving stuff behind at his brutalist home. Imagine some cute Hello Kitty plushies being the only pop of color in the room!

When the reader slept over at his place and forgot their plushie, he picked up the hello kitty, and held it an arms length away from him. He eyed it up and down suspiciously, just making sure that it actually wasn’t a living and breathing thing. He’s actually a very paranoid person, and he did believe in ghosts and spirits. He placed it in the corner of the room, and lit up some sage.

When you haven’t came by to pick up the (haunted) thing, he bought a glass case for it, and decided to lock the plushie away until you took it off his hands.

He’s a bit fascinated with the aesthetic, and you did look nice with the bows and laces. He didn’t complain when all of a sudden his expensive dishes were replaced with heart shaped plates, cups with a floral pattern on it, and even baby pink knives. He watched with discreet interest as he stared at you from the corner of his eye. You had his card in your hand, and your phone in the other. He just hoped that this aesthetic wouldn’t bankrupt him.

growing up everyone had crushes on Edward or Jacob but i like myself a dilf and Carlisle Cullen just hits different sometimes. he’s nice, he can cook, clean, he’s RICH, he most definitely has a big dick, and i KNOW he would treat me right. || Tonight I went on another adventure with Taliesin (also using this mod)! And of course, had tons of fun while I was at it- I mean really, this sassy Elf has made me giggle in the past few days when nothing else could make me smile (due to personal reasons), I mean look:

Then I dressed him up in some Immersive Armour, and got a lil' weepy before I headed off for the Thalmor Embassy (and let's just mention that dying there isn't the worst that can happen to someone who infiltrates it, by the way):

I put him back in his Thalmor robes and. His profile never ceases to make me go *siiiiigh*. He always ends up in front of me when we fast travel - or wanders around in my home, Goldenhills Plantation -, and turns back a bit like this and I'm 😩 Boy. Pls.

Oh, by the way, he's an idiot for running in front of EVERYTHING he sees. 😑 Trolls. Werewolves. Dragons. In today's playthrough he was Shouted back in the corner by a Draugr Deathlord because His Highness thought he'd deal with it up close and personal. (Constantly worried btw.)

Then he makes this comment and I'm. I'm sorry I love him. Same Tally, same. 😂 Princess or prince, I'm not picky, either.

If I let him rest in my home and he's sandboxing, he starts swiping in every area?? Sassy, elf, AND cleans my home? Can I marry him? 😂

Then I dressed him up in my Lustmord Vampire Armour - and forgot that this way I ended up bare butt naked, because of which he was like:

Oh my gods, Tally. "Impressive specimen". 😅

Then we found a Heroic Stormcloak helmet and... he looks like he's thinking gurl. Seriously?!

Now I'm thinking, I'm going to put Vittoria's floral headband on him as soon as we get there with the Dark Brotherhood. 🫶🏻 And I will also put his ass in assassin leather. Yes. That'll be good. 🔥
