No because the shoto and cat behavior venn diagram is damn near a circle
-whe sho wakes up in the morning, he does the cat stretches, which i think he totally picked up on from hanging out with the strays when he was REALLY little and never shook off
-head butts his friends ALL the time
-love bites just cuz he feels like it
-will get random cases of the zoomies and channels it into dorm deep cleaning, this man will be vacuuming at 4 in the morning, i hope youre a heavy sleeper
-naps hate to see this one coming because he can and will sleep anywhere and everywhere, preferably in some small dark place like the closet or under a bed
-will comb through his closet friends’ hair (aka grooming them the way a cat would but humanized) not only because this is a form of physical touch he’s okay with, but also because his sister used to do it to him and he’d go, “my turn my turn” and do it to her back. He likes showing affection like this
-shoto stares alot, like “is there something on me? Advert your eyes you owl” type stare. Funnily enough, this is the reason why most cant lie to him, he’ll stare till they cave and tell the truth. Brother isn’t even aware he has this cheat code, he’s always confused when people are like “okay fine i lied”
-you know how cats will aggressively meow when they cant find you, but will suddenly become soft spoken once they see you? Shoto does that a lot with whoever he’s dating
-will knock things off surfaces if theyre not fragile but then feel bad after a couple minutes staring at it on the floor and put it back.
-will poke his partner with his tongue on the cheek and then run away
i think shoto does the thing cat do when you hover your hand above their head

series masterlist
Steve set a freshly rewound tape on the countertop. The sign on the wall stating: Be kind: Rewind, clearly had not been making an impact on the general public. And if that wasn’t enough, he was desperately trying not to roll his eyes as a certain curly-haired boy to his left, perched on the desk as if it was a lounge chair.
Dustin had been pleading with him for the past ten minutes—some elaborate scheme involving a comic book store in the next town over. Steve had already told him “no” at least four times, but the word didn’t seem to register in the boy's vocabulary. He became aware he was fighting a losing battle as the kid refused to budge.
“Please?” Dustin implored again, swinging his legs idly as he watched Steve rewind the day’s returns.
“For the last time,” Steve muttered, eyeing a slightly worn Back to the Future case with mild dismay, “I already told you no.
He was trying to figure out how he could make his declaration any clearer.
Dustin huffed, crossing his arms. “I can’t drive yet, remember?”
“Yeah, well, that’s not my problem,” Steve shot back, sliding the VHS into its designated slot behind the counter.
“I’m telling you, it’s only like a fifteen-minute drive. Tops.” Dustin glanced at the clock pointedly. “Plus, your shift ends soon. What else are you gonna do?”
“I don’t know—go pick up my girlfriend?” Steve flashed him a wry smile, letting the term roll off his tongue with pride.
Girlfriend.
It still felt new, but it also felt good. He thought it would take longer for him to assimilate to his new title as boyfriend, but he fell into the role as easily as breathing. Something that felt completely natural.
No longer was he the designated driver for his friends after work, he did the stuff that boyfriends do. And that included spending most evenings with you.
There were a few times you insisted he needed to spend time with his own friends, but he still wished you were there. Hopefully, you would be comfortable enough to tag along with them in the future. God knows he was more than willing to show you off.
“Oh yeah?” Dustin sat up, his posture straightening. “So it’s official now?”
A tiny grin tugged at Steve’s mouth. “Yeah.” He closed a drawer of tapes and rested his hands on the counter, staring at Dustin with a slightly smug expression. “It’s official.”
“Good for you, man. Seriously. That’s nice.” He said, seemingly out of obligation rather than pure interest. Then, snapping back to the real topic at hand. “But I’m not leaving until you agree to take me to the comic book store.”
“That’s like—” Steve glanced at the clock above the television sets for rent, “an hour from now.”
“Yep,” Dustin said, unabashed. “I’m persistent.”
“Look,” Steve sighed, massaging the tension in his temples. “She’s coming here once my shift is over. I can’t just bail on her to drive you around.”
Dustin’s face lit up. “Then bring her along! Maybe she’ll like it!”
“Yeah, no. That’s not happening.” A short laugh escaped Steve before he could stop it. “I’m not dragging her to a comic book shop just so you can blow your allowance on some special-edition nonsense.”
“Hey, it’s not nonsense!” Dustin protested. “They have the rare issues I can’t find anywhere else. And who knows, maybe your girlfriend’s into comics!”
“Why do I even argue with you?” Steve groaned to himself, returning to the stack of tapes in front of him—anything to have an excuse not to keep looking at Dustin’s pleading face. “You just keep going and going. It’s exhausting.”
“That’s because I know you’ll give in eventually,” Dustin quipped, flashing that self-assured grin that made Steve want to either adopt him or toss him out a window—possibly both.
“Yeah, well, not this time,” Steve insisted, though the conviction in his voice wavered slightly.
Dustin was right about one thing: Steve did have a tendency to cave when it came to the kids, especially the ones he’d practically helped raise. But, as he filed away the last of the returns, a pang of guilt rippled through him.
He didn’t want to let you down. Truly, he didn’t. You were swinging by just to see him. It was a Sunday after all, so he was finishing early, and he wanted to spend as long as he could with you.
Unfortunately, he did feel a little regretful about letting his friend down. Perhaps he was spending a bit too much time with you—which wasn’t a crime—but he was struggling to recall the last time he spent alone time with Dustin.
The kid must have caught the trace of hesitation in Steve’s expression. Finally, a crack in his armour.
“Look,” he said, in a rare moment of sincerity, “just ask her, okay? If she says no, I’ll drop it.”
Steve mulled that over, pressing his lips into a thin line. “Fine,” he relented, not hiding his exasperation. “I’ll let you pitch your case when she gets here.”
Dustin pumped a fist triumphantly. “Yes! You won’t regret this.”
“I regret a lot of things, Henderson,” Steve muttered under his breath. “Now let me finish up so I can actually clock out at a decent time.”
“Deal,” Dustin agreed, but he made no move to vacate the desk. Instead, he just kept swinging his legs, watching with interest as Steve tried to busy himself with the returns.
The kid was relentless—he had to give him that.
He was half-leaning against the counter when you walked in, the lazy Sunday light spilling through the windows, making him look almost golden.
You instantly spotted him, features slightly fatigued but nonetheless tender. The boy who inserted himself into your daunting new life, making you feel less alone. The boy who made you feel safe whenever your eyes met—warm, reassuring, sometimes bashful if you caught him at the right moment.
Your gaze drifted to the curly-haired kid perched on the front desk, chattering away while Steve fiddled with cases. You hadn’t met him yet, but had an inkling as to who it might be from you and Steve’s many conversations.
The second Steve caught sight of you, the slight crease in his brow eased, and a genuine smile lit up his face. He straightened, set the tapes aside, and practically melted as you approached, arms opening to fit you just right.
“Hey, sweetheart,” he murmured, pulling you into a warm hug. His vest brushed against your cheek. You tilted your head just enough to feel the soft press of his lips against your temple.
Even though the two of you were official, your cheeks still reddened at his action. It often seemed he didn’t mind that you had company, or maybe he just didn’t care. Or perhaps he didn’t realise how brazen he could be.
Either way, you weren’t going to stop his displays of affection. You enjoyed knowing he was proud to call you his.
“Hi,” you said quietly, relishing the way he lingered in that hug, not quite wanting to let go just yet.
“This is Dustin,” he turned, gesturing to the boy with the curly hair. “I told you about him, remember?”
“Right!” You offered the boy a friendly smile, glad your assumption was correct. “So great to finally meet you. Steve mentions you all the time.”
Dustin stared for a moment, then blinked like he was recalibrating.
“Um… hey,” he said, his tone surprisingly timid. “Yeah, you too.”
That made Steve grin even wider.
Dustin, rendered speechless? He never thought he would see the day. He looked at his awestruck expression and glanced over at you smugly.
Yeah, he did that. He isn’t quite sure how, but he did that.
“You ready to go?” you asked, glancing up at him over your shoulder. At your question, Steve let out a slow breath, raking a hand through his hair nervously.
“Apparently, someone wants me to be their personal chauffeur,” he said, with a pointed look at Dustin. “Says I need to drive him to a comic book store.”
“A comic book store? But there’s one like four streets over, right?”
Steve spread his hands in exasperation. “Exactly what I said!”
Dustin threw his hands up. “That one sucks! Their selection is terrible and they get new shipments like once a month!”
You couldn’t help the small laugh that escaped. He sounds like a tiny professor with the fervour in his voice. Steve shot you a look of abject guilt, like he was already imagining leaving you hanging.
“Would I be the world’s biggest jerk if I did this?” he asked, the uncertainty evident in his tone. He hated to be the one to make decisions like this, picking sides and disappointing someone in the process.
“No, honestly, it’s fine.” Gently, you shook your head. “It’s still early, right?” You gestured to the clock on the wall—three o’clock, give or take a few minutes. “I’ve been all over the place today, honestly an hour or so just to get everything in order would be amazing.”
“I mean…” Dustin started, looking between you and Steve, not sure if you're just being nice or actually had something to do. “You’re welcome to come with?”
But you waved him off with an apologetic smile. “Thanks, but seriously, I’ve got a lot to catch up on at home. You two enjoy, please, don’t let me stop you.”
Dustin beamed at you, grateful for the positive turn of events. Steve, on the other hand, still looked torn, torn between not wanting to inconvenience you and also not wanting to bail on his friend.
“Alright,” he relented, exhaling in relief when he realised you were genuinely okay with this. “I’ll… yeah, I’ll drop him off, and we’ll probably poke around for a bit if they really have something he’s looking for.”
“No worries.” You leaned forward, reaching for his hand, not missing the smitten glaze in his eyes as you squeezed it. “Swing by mine after, okay? I should be done by then.”
Steve’s posture relaxed, gratitude colouring his eyes. “Okay,” he murmured, “deal.”
He leaned in, cupping your jaw and pressing a gentle kiss to your lips this time—a sweet, unhurried gesture that made your cheeks flush—again.
There was a shuffle behind him, and you could sense Dustin being extremely polite (or maybe just temporarily stunned) enough not to comment. Steve pulled back smiling, as you made your way to the exit.
“See you, Steve,” you said, backing toward the door. You cast a quick wave at Dustin. “Later, Dustin.”
“Uh, bye,” Dustin managed, raising a hand in farewell.
And with that, you slipped outside, leaving Steve to shoulder his shift into driver mode—though, judging by the fond look on his face, he wasn’t half as annoyed about it anymore.
He just got to rub it in Dustin's face, that yes, he had a sweet girlfriend. And yes, she really was that nice. All the time. Probably when she shouldn't be.
As far as he was concerned, if you needed it, he could haul Henderson around for an afternoon to give you some free time.
“You,” Dustin said, pointing at Steve once you were gone, “are one lucky dude.”
Steve snorted, but it came out more like an affectionate laugh.
“Yeah,” he murmured, casting a glance at the door you’d just left through. “Yeah, I am.”
Steve drummed his fingers on the steering wheel as he cruised down the main road, Dustin rambling away in the passenger seat. The kid’s feet bounced on the floor mat, all brimming energy. Steve had to admit—it was nice to see him so pumped. But that didn’t stop him from cringing slightly at every new question that spilled out of his mouth.
Right now he was the subject of a very intense interrogation, and while he had mentioned he was seeing someone new, clearly that was not enough information for the teenager sitting next to him.
“So,” Dustin said, leaning forward, “this girl—your girlfriend—what does she do?”
“She’s writing for the paper in town.” He said, feeling a surge of pride in his chest as he got to gush about your achievements. “Gonna be a big-shot journalist someday. That’s what she wants, anyway.”
Dustin let out a short laugh, amused in a way that made Steve raise an eyebrow. “Why’re you laughing?”
“I’m not, I’m just—” Dustin shook his head, lips quirked in a grin. “You and your… type.”
Steve gave him a side-eye glance. “My type?”
“Oh, c’mon,” Dustin scoffed, half-exasperated, half-teasing. “Smart writer girls. You know—the go-getter, brainy ones.”
Steve’s initial instinct was to shrug it off, but something nagged at him.
He felt a twinge of déjà vu that he didn’t love.
“Yeah, okay, I can sorta see what you mean.” He spoke cooly, but the heat rising in his chest was anything but.
“Admit it,” Dustin pressed on. “You like girls that are just a little… out of your league.”
Steve bristled, tightening his grip on the wheel. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
“I mean, think about it." Dustin shrugged, apparently not noticing the defensiveness in Steve’s tone. "The girls you’ve dated. They’re super smart, super driven. It’s cool how you have managed to pull this off twice.”
Steve forced a laugh, though it felt hollow on his tongue.
Pull this off? That the hell was that supposed to mean?
“Right, yeah, thanks for the vote of confidence, Henderson.” He cleared his throat, rolling his shoulders in an attempt to shake off the uneasy feeling creeping into his stomach. “Well, if they like me, then I must be doing something right.”
“For sure. No denying you’ve come a long way.” Dustin nodded, tapping the dashboard with one finger. “Remember how you used to act at Scoops? Man, you were just—”
Steve groaned, cutting him off as he steered into a small parking lot beside a rundown building with a neon sign advertising Comics & Collectibles. Not wanting to relive failed moments from his youth any longer than he had to.
“Alright, we’re here.” He put the car into park, his posture now rigid. “You’ve got thirty minutes, max. Then we’re outta here.”
“Thirty minutes?” Dustin repeated, eyes bulging. “But—”
“Non-negotiable,” Steve said flatly, giving him a pointed look, suddenly in a sour mood. “I’ve got places to be.”
“Fine.” Dustin grumbled under his breath but ultimately acquiesced, grabbing his backpack and popping open the door. “Thirty. Starting… now.”
He hopped out, the door slamming shut behind him. Steve exhaled, jaw still tense. He watched the kid dart across the lot and pull open the shop’s glass door with excitement.
Alone at last, Steve let his head fall back against the headrest.
Are you really that much out of his league? The question looped around in his mind like a broken record.
He could laugh it off—he had enough practise doing that—but he started remembering how he felt so inadequate around Nancy.
You made him feel needed, cared for, that much was certainly true. But how long would you need him, really?
The notion stirred up old insecurities he’d thought he’d buried.
The rational side of his mind told him he had nothing to worry about. If you liked him—chose him—that was enough, right?
Sighing, he pulled out his watch and glanced at the time. Twenty-nine minutes until he could drop Dustin off and head straight to your place. He suddenly wished the clock would run faster.
Because if there was one thing he couldn’t wait to do, it was lose himself in you. If only for the evening.
Your familiar doorstep was supposed to feel welcoming, as it had so many times before, but Steve’s mind was a bundle of half-formed worries as he stood in the familiar space.
He hated to admit when things got to him, but Dustin’s teasing—albeit lighthearted—had, indeed, gotten to him. The doubts clouding his mind like a soft static he couldn’t push away.
The one statement he kept circling back to was the whole "out of his league" idea. I mean, yeah, from the outside looking in, it could be the case. But he had something to offer, right?
If nothing else was true, he at least had a decent enough face, and his personality had come a long way from high school. Hopefully, other people could see that too.
He forced his mind into silence as he took a deep breath, knocking twice in quick succession.
When you opened the door, dressed in soft, comfortable clothes that looked unfairly adorable on you, he felt something in his chest unclench. Even on a lazy Sunday—one where you had every right to be tired from your own job—you still radiated a classic warmth, one that he was selfishly drinking up, grateful to be the one basking in it.
“Hey,” you said, smiling so easily that a bit of the tension in his shoulders melted.
“Hey, angel” he echoed, stepping inside when you ushered him through the threshold. The air hit him first—warm and fragrant, hinting at something savoury on the stove. “Wow, it smells amazing in here.”
Little did he know, you had already taken care of most of your errands that morning. Knowing you’d be spending the afternoon with Steve, you’d gotten up a little earlier than usual to make sure everything was in order. But when you saw the desperate look on Dustin’s face as he pleaded with your boyfriend to take him to the store, an idea sparked. A little surprise for him—one you hoped would land well.
“Figured I’d make dinner.” You gave a pleased little shrug. “We don’t always get Sundays like this, and I know you had to work, so…”
“Wait,” he said, blinking, “you made dinner?”
His eyes softened as he took in your words, letting them settle in his chest. He tried not to feel indebted—but God, he wished he stopped to pick up flowers or something.
“Yup,” you confirmed, leading him toward the kitchen. “Nothing fancy. Just has to reduce on the stove for a while longer, but I wanted it ready for when you came by.”
Steve’s heart twisted in two directions at once. On one hand, it was the sweetest gesture, and certainly one that should have put his mind at ease. On the other, his mind kept whispering to him. He questioned if he was even worth this kind of effort.
The bluntness of the thought shocked him a little, but he couldn’t render it completely false. He felt like he owed you something.
“You didn’t have to go all out for me,” he murmured, smiling at you in an almost apologetic manner.
“I know.” You reached up to brush a stray bit of hair off his forehead. “I wanted to.”
He swallowed, nodding. “Thanks, angel,” he said softly, the pet name rolling off his tongue with more tenderness than he intended. Like he wasn’t supposed to be using it. “Seriously.”
You tugged him gently into the living room, where he sank down onto the couch, exhaling a sigh of relief. The day had felt so long—the slow hours, Dustin’s energy, the drive out of town—but now, in the familiarity of your apartment, it all felt calm. But he couldn’t shake the feeling that it wasn’t quite right.
You curled against him, fitting neatly at his side as he draped an arm around you. The soft haze of a lamp cast a cosy halo over the bookshelf across the room, the very one he’d helped you build not long ago. He couldn’t help but notice the extra row of spines he didn’t remember seeing before.
“Hey,” he teased, nudging your head and gesturing to the neatly lined novels. “I thought you said no more books until you’d read all the ones you owned.”
You lifted your head to follow his gaze, a faint grin tugging at your lips. “I did read them. Which means I’m allowed new ones.”
“All of them? In, what—two weeks?”
He barely finished reading Salinger in senior year, and that took him months to work through.
“About that,” you said, sounding almost sheepish. “They were good, and I got on a roll. You know how it is when a book just sucks you in?”
He didn’t really, but now he felt as though he should.
“That’s…impressive.” He replied safely, not wanting to bring down your mood with his lack of literature knowledge. Especially when you seemed so pleased that he was there in the first place.
You used that moment to shift closer, your cheek pressing against the broad line of his shoulder. He felt the warmth you emitted, and if he allowed himself, he could imagine that maybe you enjoyed his company as much as he loved yours.
“So,” you said, glancing up at him with genuine curiosity. “How was work? How’s Dustin?”
Steve hesitated, momentarily tripping over the idea that you’d be interested in the mundane details of his shift or the kid’s comic book haul. But the way you were watching him—like you actually cared—made him sigh and lean into it.
“Pretty standard, y’know?” He ran his free hand over his jaw, trying to sound casual. “Dustin got what he wanted, as usual. He’s like a force of nature—hard to say no.”
You smiled, amused. “That kid seems unstoppable.”
“Definitely unstoppable,” Steve agreed, a soft chuckle escaping him.
Eventually, after his debrief of today's events, you got up to check on dinner, stirring the pot and releasing another wave of that delicious smell. He watched, heart clenching again with gratitude and guilt.
He could see how careful you were, minding the heat, adding a pinch of seasoning, taking the time to make something special just for him.
He wondered if he could do anything to help, something to be useful again.
It felt so domestic that for a second he let himself imagine a future where this could be the norm—where the two of you shared little traditions, teased each other about groceries, woke up side by side. Equally happy with what the other had to offer.
Soon enough, you both ended up at the small kitchen table, plates filled with a hearty meal that made him groan with delight after each bite. You just laughed, pleased by his genuine appreciation.
“Good?” you asked, grinning as he nodded enthusiastically, mouth still full.
It was good. Really good. Made only better by the fact that you made it for him.
Why didn’t he think of something like this?
At this rate, he was going to have to pull a screw loose from your bookshelf just so he could prove himself again.
When you’d eaten more than enough to satiate your hunger, you cleaned up together, bumping hips in the process, trading playful glances as you washed and dried the dishes.
He followed you back to the couch, happy to follow where you dragged him hand first. You spent the rest of the evening chatting aimlessly about books, random gossip from your workplace, and his occasional run-ins with Robin or the kids.
There was nothing particularly grand or momentous about it; just a gentle closeness. Though he was worried it was too mundane, if his crappy jokes were enough to keep this thing going.
All too soon, the clock on the wall struck a sober reminder: Monday morning was lurking around the corner, and you gave him an apologetic look.
“I hate to kick you out,” you said softly, “but I’ve got an early start tomorrow.”
“Yeah, yeah, I get it.” He pretended to huff in annoyance, though the corners of his mouth twitched in a small smile. You were the one with a real job, after all. “Responsibilities and all that.”
At the door, you hugged him, chin hooking over his shoulder. He could smell the faint scent of laundry detergent on your jumper, mixed with the lingering aroma of dinner. It felt safe in your arms—safer than he’d felt all day.
“Thank you,” he whispered against your hair, voice thick with more emotion than he intended to reveal.
“For what?” you asked, pulling back just enough to look him in the eyes, sensing his unease.
“For dinner,” he shrugged, trying to hide the lump in his throat. “For letting me hang out for, y’know, being you.”
A smile lit up your features, and you rose on your toes to press a gentle kiss to his lips.
“You don’t have to thank me for that.”
It should’ve been reassuring, but that old worry nipped at him once again.
You gave him a playful nudge out into the hallway. “Drive safe, okay?”
“Always,” he promised, mustering a half-smirk. But the moment the door closed behind him, the warmth drained away like someone had shut off a heat lamp.
By the time he slid into his car and started the engine, he was already thinking about Dustin’s words, "girls out of his league."
Mentally, he scolded himself. But the thought stuck like glue, stubborn and unmoving. He glanced at your apartment window—light still glowing from inside—and his chest ached with longing.
You liked him. You even cooked for him, fully aware that he would have been just as content with a crappy pizza or diner fries.
So why couldn’t he let himself just be happy?
With a quiet sigh, he pulled away from the curb, leaving the comfort of your home behind. And as he drove through the sleepy streets of Hawkins, he couldn’t quite loose the hollow sense that he was missing something.
Good things always had a way of escaping him, and he couldn’t imagine how this would be any different.
You’ve never felt unsettled since moving to Hawkins—at least, not until now.
Work at the Hawkins Post can be demanding, but those pressures were somewhat tangible: deadlines, edits, the joyous feeling of being undermined for basic input. You can handle all that. But suddenly finding your supposedly devoted boyfriend slipping through your fingers for reasons you don’t understand?
That feels far worse than any work stress could ever be.
All week, you’ve told yourself not to overreact. Steve might just be busy or tired or dealing with something personal. You didn’t want to pry, and after coming clean about your own struggles, you assumed he would do the same thing. Take his own advice or whatever.
But the excuses keep piling up, and you can’t ignore the changes in his behaviour. It started with some half-hearted reasons to hang up the phone in the evenings—when he used to plead with you to stay just little longer—usually ending up with one of you falling asleep on the line, listening out for the others breathing to steady before ending the call.
The whole week he didn’t even mention spending the weekend together. Usually that was sacred time, with him arguing with Kieth and Robin to please let him have the evening shifts rather than the morning. He enjoyed waking up lazily next to you, not rushing out the door before he had his fill.
By Saturday, you decide you can’t wait for answers any longer. You head out, crossing the familiar street, eventually pushing open the door to Family Video. Robin’s face pops up from behind the counter, the bell signalling a customer.
“Hey,” Robin calls, stacking tapes. “If you’re looking for Steve, you just missed him. Morning shift—he took off like ten minutes ago.”
“I know.” You attempt a polite smile. You were already aware of his absence, watching his BMW speed away from the store, feeling even worse when it turned the opposite direction to your place. “I actually, uh… came to see you.”
“Me? Really?” She seemed half-surprised, half-intrigued.
“Yeah. I… I think I need your help.” The words spill out in a rush. You don’t realise how anxious you sound until Robin sets aside her tapes, giving you her full attention. “I’m sorry for springing this on you, but I’m kind of at a loss. You’re Steve’s best friend, and—” You pause, cheeks warming. “I don’t really know many people here yet.”
Robin’s expression softens. “Hey, hey, no need to apologise. What’s going on?” Her eyes narrow, the smallest spark of protectiveness lighting behind them. “Did Steve do something stupid? Because I can give him a good slap if—”
You lift your hands, shaking your head quickly. “No, no, it’s not that. Or… not exactly?” Your voice wavers. “I just—wanted to know if he still… likes me? Because he’s been distant, and I can’t think what I did wrong.”
Robin’s mouth opens on a short laugh, but then she sees you’re serious.
“Oh. Wait—you’re for real?”
Heat pools in your cheeks. It sounds so ridiculous when you say it out loud, but you press on. You were here already, so if she knew something, you would rather just get this over with.
“He’s barely returned my calls, and this weekend he hasn’t even tried making plans. Last week I cooked for him—nothing fancy, just dinner—and he acted so weird about it, almost like he wanted to be anywhere else. I keep replaying it in my head, wondering if I came on too strong or something.”
She watches you carefully, reading the tension in your posture, the way your hands keep twisting into your sleeves.
“Okay, okay,” she says, gentler now. “I promise I’m listening. You think you scared him off?”
“I don’t know. Maybe?” You look at the floor, biting your lip. “This past week, he’s barely tried to see me at all. Usually he’s so—well, so Steve, you know? But now it’s like he’s ignoring me, except he’s still in town.”
Robin sets aside the tapes completely, leaning her elbows on the counter. Yes, she knew how Steve had been acting, practically besotted with you. So this fast turnaround was odd, but then again, Steve had his moments. Though they usually came with more of an explanation than this.
“That’s… not good,” she concedes. “But trust me, from an outside perspective, he’s been head over heels for you since day one. My guess is he’s the problem, not you. It might be in that thick skull of his, you know? It doesn’t help that it’s covered with all that hair.”
“I feel so stupid, but I didn’t know who else to ask." You let out a shaky laugh. "I’m just… worried I messed up somehow. I know it’s weird—”
“Hey, you’re not weird.” Robin shakes her head, reaching over to squeeze your arm gently. “You’re worried—totally normal. Let me talk to him, okay? I’ll figure out what’s going on.”
Your eyes widen. “No, you don’t have to do that. I don’t want to cause drama—”
She interrupts you with a wave of her hand. “Drama is my middle name, apparently, thanks to Steve. Let me handle him. I’ll be subtle. Trust me.”
A mischievous grin tugs at her lips. You have a feeling she’s never been subtle in her life, but you’re too tired to argue.
“Alright.” You sigh. “Only if you’re sure. And please, maybe don’t mention I… came here? I don’t want him thinking I’m this desperate, clingy girlfriend who needs constant reassurance.”
“Desperate? Clingy? He’s been the clingiest guy I’ve ever seen—until now.” She snorts. “Don’t beat yourself up. I know he adores you. He’s probably just… freaking out about something. He’s good at that. Self-sabotage is his specialty.”
The tight knot in your chest loosens just a bit, but her words set you on edge a little. You instantly think that you are the one freaking him out, coming on too strong. But you decide that silence is the best option here.
“Thank you,” you say, voice still unsteady. “I really appreciate it.”
“Of course.” She offers a supportive smile. “Hey, you’re welcome to drop by anytime, you know? If you wanted someone else to talk to or something, but no pressure.”
“I might take you up on that.” You tell her, relieved.
“Good. Now go home, put on some music, try to relax. I’ll handle the Harrington situation.”
You’re not entirely sure what that entails, but her confidence is reassuring. After one more grateful nod, you thank her again and head back outside. Not quite feeling relief, but certainly not feeling any worse.
Steve juggled a soda cup in one hand and a stack of tapes in the other. He had the evening off yesterday and had spent it binge watching crappy rom coms while trying to ignore the nagging feeling in his chest. Trying to find some solace in those mundane guys managing to snag the unattainable, popular girl. They never showed what happened after the whole kiss and get-together thing. Life imitates art in a way.
He also had the day off today—normally something that would have him beaming from the inside out—but he made the decision to spend it alone. A decision that had been laced with anxiety, which now leaked into a mild depression. His nerves overshadowed any relief he felt about his schedule.
He unlocked the door to Family Video, hoping he’d be able to stash the unchecked tapes and slip out before Robin noticed the cloud hanging over him. No such luck.
She was early for her shift, waiting at the counter, arms crossed, jaw set. Her eyes locked on him the second he stepped inside.
“You.” She spoke the word like it was a challenge. “Explain yourself.”
He paused, heartbeat picking up, not expecting this level of hostility.
“What did I do now?” he asked cautiously, setting the tapes down. “I planned to bring them back before opening, I swear, I just—”
Robin cut him off with a sharp wave of her hand. “Not that. Your girlfriend came in here yesterday, totally distressed. She thought she did something wrong. Actually asked if she might’ve scared you off by, and I quote, ‘making you dinner.’”
Steve’s stomach flipped. A wave of guilt slammed into him, sharper than he’d expected. He swallowed, remembering how you’d stood in your apartment, smiling so warmly, how you’d carefully stirred a pot of sauce just for him.
God, he’d been such an idiot.
He thought that you would have been too busy with work this week to notice his silence. He thought he hid his emotions better than that.
“She thinks that?” he managed to say, voice tight. “She really asked that?”
“Of course she did.” Robin slammed her palm on the counter. “Now, are you freaking out, or what? Because if you are, just say so.”
“Me? Freaking out?” A shaky laugh left Steve’s lips. Freaking out was putting it mildly. “I’m fine, Rob.”
She shook her head. “You’re clearly not,” she persisted. “Last week you’re gushing about your new relationship, and now it’s radio silence. What’s up with you? Spill it.”
He knew there was no getting out of this, well, unless he literally turned and ran out the store. But that seemed a bit extreme and would likely only delay this conversation.
He dreaded this part. The whole talking about his feelings and his subsequent inadequacies.
“It’s going to sound dumb,” he muttered, gaze dropping to the floor.
“More so than usual?” She teased.
“Robin.”
“Right, no.” She muttered. “Wrong time. Sorry.”
She sighed and walked round the counter so she was standing directly in front of him. Both so she could gauge his reaction and bring him some semblance of comfort. “Talk to me.”
“It’s like…” He trails off, looking away from her pitiful expression.”She’s going places, you know? Really going places. I’m just… here.”
Her expression softened a fraction. “What brought this on?”
Steve felt the memories swirl—Dustin’s pointed remarks, the creeping sense of déjà vu reminding him how Nancy once left him behind.
“Dustin,” he admitted after a beat. “He said some stuff… about me only dating smart girls who are outta my league. It got stuck in my head, okay?”
“Henderson?” Robin’s eyebrows shot up. “Steve, he’s a kid. A kid with zero concept of normal relationship drama. You’re really letting that get to you?”
He tried to muster a shrug, but his chest felt tight. No matter what angle he looked at it, it was a statement that he couldn’t disprove.
“He’s not entirely wrong,” he mumbled. “I don’t have a big plan or anything. My job’s okay, but it’s not exactly a career, and I’m certainly not saving big money—there’s no future path. Meanwhile, she’s got all these ideas, ambitions, everything.”
Robin stared, seeming torn between wanting to hug him and wanting to smack him upside the head.
“God, you’re self-sabotaging again.”
“I am not—”
“Yes, you are!” she insisted, stepping forward. “Textbook Harrington behaviour: good thing’s happening, so you panic and decide you don’t deserve it. I just watched her walk out of here looking like someone kicked her puppy. She literally thinks she scared you off.”
Steve’s gut twisted further. He pictured you, eyes glassy with worry, probably replaying every moment you’d spent together. After your heart to heart the other day it became clear that you tended to overthink, he didn’t realise you could be doing that because of him.
The notion that you blamed yourself made his chest ache.
“I… I didn’t mean to make her feel that way,” he said, voice hollow.
“So don’t.” Robin pressed her lips together. “Fix it. You’re good at that sort of thing.”
He exhaled shakily, setting the soda on the counter before he spilled it with his shaky hands. “How?”
“You have today off, right?” Robin asked, folding her arms.
“Yeah,” Steve said.
“She does too,” Robin replied pointedly. “And it’s not even 10 a.m. yet. So do something nice for her. Show her you’re not running away. Because, believe me, if you keep pulling back, it’s gonna look like you are.”
Steve nodded, trying to will away the tightening in his throat. “What do I even plan? Something big? Flowers? Fancy dinner? She’s already done the cooking thing—”
Robin let out a dramatic sigh, rolling her eyes. “You’re not exactly wooing the queen of England. Just do something that says ‘I appreciate you and want to be around you.’ Could be a picnic, a drive, a movie—whatever. Don’t overthink it.”
He let out a short, humourless laugh. “But that’s kinda my specialty these days.”
“Clearly,” Robin muttered, though her tone was gentler now. “Look, the point is, she’s into you. She made that super obvious. The only person doubting it is you. So cut it out.”
Steve paused, letting her words settle. A small seed of hope unfurled in his chest, reminding him why he’d fallen for you in the first place.
“Thanks,” he said quietly, gaze locked on the floor. Then he lifted his head, determined. “I’ll, uh… yeah, I’ll figure something out.”
Robin’s tense posture eased, and she gave a curt nod. “Good. Because if you break that girl’s heart over your own insecurities, I’ll murder you. In a loving, best-friend sort of way.”
Steve managed a small grin. “In a loving way, sure.”
“Get out of here before Keith shows up.” She smirked, waving him off. “And don’t forget to call her, for God’s sake.”
Snatching up his soda again, Steve headed for the door, heart still pounding but a faint sense of relief settling in.
From the moment Steve picked up the phone at ten that morning—voice shaky with nerves—he knew he was taking a gamble.
He could feel the cautious edge in your tone, the coolness that suggested you were bracing yourself. Still, he invited you over to his place for that evening, willing the dread in his stomach to subside. He told himself it would be okay, that he’d find the right words.
Robin had told him to talk, so talk he would.
Meanwhile, you spent your Sunday feeling a dread so heavy it threatened to pin you to the floor.
Why else would Steve have been so distant all week? The only logical conclusion was that he’d decided this wasn’t working. After all, you’d had that conversation with Robin—maybe she’d reported back to him, told him something that sealed the deal.
It made sense in a heartbreakingly logical way.
By the time five o’clock rolled around, you felt like you’d gone through every stage of grief. You dragged yourself to your car and made the drive toward the Harrington residence, a place that had once felt so exciting in its promise.
Now it loomed large in your mind as the site of an upcoming breakup. When you arrived, you saw plenty of parking space—his parents, you recalled, were almost never home. You turned the keys of the ignition and exited the vehicle.
At least no one will witness what’s about to happen.
You made your way up the steps, breath tight in your chest. Just as you lifted a hand to knock, the door swung open, revealing Steve, hair meticulously styled, smelling faintly of aftershave. The pang in your heart only sharpened.
Did he seriously dress up for this?
“Hi,” he managed, the word catching slightly, like he was just as nervous as you.
“Hi,” you replied curtly.
Steve cleared his throat, looking awkward in a way that tugged at your heart—no matter how resigned you felt. “Uh, I think you should come in.”
“Yeah,” you said softly. “All right.”
Inside, the house felt cavernous, every footstep echoing. He led you to the living room, and you couldn’t help but glance around, remembering how you used to marvel at this place—huge, yes, but also warm with the potential of summer get-togethers, that pool you’d joked about wanting to try. Now, the thought made your stomach twist.
Guess you won’t be swimming here after all.
You both settled on the couch, an awkward space between you. Steve’s fingers twitched at his sides, and he couldn’t quite meet your eye. The hush was almost suffocating, until finally he spoke, voice low and unsteady.
“Look, um… I think we need to talk.”
Your heart thumped. So this is it. You drew a shaky breath, forcing yourself to sound calmer than you felt.
“Okay. Sure.”
He tried not to grimace at the coolness in your tone. You’d never sounded so distant before, and it killed him to know he caused it. Robin’s words about “explaining himself” rang in his ears, so he opened his mouth—only for you to beat him to it.
“Listen, Steve,” you began, voice thick with tension. “I… I get what’s going on here.”
Steve frowned, something twisting in his chest. “Huh? You do?”
“Yeah," you nodded. "I kind of guessed it.”
“Really?” A flicker of confusion passed over his features. “You did?”
Exhaling, you steeled yourself, trying to keep your composure.
“Look, I’m really sorry if I made you uncomfortable. Maybe you didn’t appreciate me crying about my job the other day, or maybe I was too forward cooking dinner for you. I get it. I just… I can’t think of anything else I did wrong.” You forced a hollow laugh. “So I assumed it must be that. Maybe I scared you off.”
Steve’s brows shot up, genuine shock colouring his face.
“What you did wrong?” he echoed. “Wait—what are you talking about?”
You swallowed.
Get it over with.
“Aren’t you… breaking up with me?”
Steve nearly jumped out of his skin. Every worst fear he had about you feeling hurt was now a reality.
“What? No! No, I’m not breaking up with you.” He spoke in quick succession. “Are you crazy? I’m not doing that.”
The wave of relief that swept through you was immediate but fleeting.
“Then what is this?” you asked, voice unsure. “It’s obvious you’re not feeling this anymore. You’ve been ignoring me all week, and I’m not gonna force you to stay if you don’t want to. I just… I figured there’d be a reason.”
He grimaced, running a hand through his hair and messing up that careful style.
“There is a reason,” he admitted. “But trust me, it’s not you.”
“Yeah,” you snorted, a weak attempt at humour that came out more sad than anything. “That’s what everyone always says when they break up with someone.”
Steve let out a frustrated breath. He had never been good at this. You were the one who was good with words, not him.
“No, really. It—fuck, just let me talk.” He paused, gathering himself. The realisation that you thought you caused this somehow made his heart twist painfully. If you only knew how not your fault it really was.
God, what a mess.
He stared at the floor, feeling the weight of all his insecurities.
“Listen,” he started, voice shaky, “I’m not good at this, so just give me a moment.”
You watched him, a pang of sympathy slipping through your self-protective shell. He looked… rattled, more so than you’d ever seen him. Despite your own heartbreak, you nodded, letting him gather his courage.
“Okay,” he said, exhaling slowly. “So, I don’t have the best track record with relationships. Or even friendships. I thought I’d gotten better, but apparently not.” He let out a short laugh, eyes flicking up to meet yours for a second—only to dart away when he saw the concern there.
It was hard to think when you looked at him like that. Like he was something to be pitied.
“What I’m trying to say is… I always seem to get left behind. My first girlfriend left me for someone else. My old friends ditched me as soon as I wasn’t cool anymore. My parents ignored me because I sucked at school.” He swallowed hard, voice thickening with old wounds. “Then I met you, this super smart girl who clearly has the world at her fingertips—you’ve accomplished so much already, more than I ever could. It made me think: how could I hold onto that? How could I keep you interested in my life when I work at a video store and spend my free time with a bunch of teenagers?”
Your heart clenched at the raw vulnerability in his words. For a second, you just stared, feeling tears prick the backs of your eyes at how wrong he was about himself.
Without thinking, you reached out and slid your hand into his, the contact gentle but resolute.
“Steve,” you whispered, voice unsteady but filled with honesty, “how can you think that about yourself?”
His gaze snapped to yours, confusion etched in every line of his face.
You swallowed, trying to steady your breathing, running a thumb along the backs of his knuckles.
“You really don’t see what others see, do you?”
He frowned, looking lost. “I… I’m not following.”
Blinking back tears, you gave a soft, exasperated laugh.
Of course he couldn’t see, your sweet, stupid boy.
“Steve, the first time we met, you literally lugged and built me a whole bookshelf—remember that? You practically passed out hauling the thing up the stairs.”
“Shit,” he muttered, cheeks tinging pink, “you noticed?”
“Yeah, I noticed,” you said, remembering the moment you started falling for him. “And I saw you freaking out over the instructions, but you tried to act like you totally had it under control.”
“Damn…” he hung his head. “Not as smooth as I thought I was.”
Not in the slightest.
A weak smile tugged at your lips.
“Maybe not, but that’s overrated anyway.” Taking a breath, you tightened your grip on his hand. “Steve, you’re a giver—through and through. So you don’t have some swanky office job—who cares? You have something better. You’re selfless, you help people, you care. That’s worth more than anything else, trust me. Whenever you talk about your friends, it’s like a never-ending list of names. You’re rich, Steve. Richer than money.”
He felt tears burning behind his eyes. This was not part of the plan, for him to be openly crying while you praise him repeatedly. That should have been his job tonight. Making you feel better.
“Shit, sweetheart,” he croaked, “you’re gonna make me cry over here.”
“Me too,” you admitted, voice thick with emotion. “We’re both lame.”
“Yeah,” he managed, a watery laugh escaping, “the lamest.”
A heartbeat of silence passed, and then he lifted his eyes to yours with a shy, almost bashful smile, one you hadn’t seen all week. It looked like him, the real Steve you fell for.
“Come here?” he asked, sounding almost boyish in his nervousness.
You couldn’t move fast enough.
He leaned in, and for a moment, everything else fell away—the big house, the rolling ache in your gut. His lips pressed to yours, soft at first, hesitant, then deepening as relief coursed through both of you.
He couldn’t quite stop smiling against your mouth, which made the kiss a bit clumsy, but neither of you cared. The tenderness overshadowed any awkwardness. It felt like coming up for air after being underwater for too long. When he finally pulled back, he let out a shaky exhale, one hand still cupping your cheek.
“I missed doing that,” he murmured, brushing a thumb over your bottom lip.
“Me too,” you breathed.
He swallowed hard, glancing away as guilt resurged. “I’m really sorry I made you feel like you messed up. Like I didn’t—like I wasn’t into you anymore. I am. I really am. Probably too much”
“You should have told me,” you scold him, his brown eyes still glassy. “Aren’t you the one who preached about sharing problems?”
A choked laugh tore from his throat. “Yeah, well… ‘do as I say, not as I do.’”
“You’re impossible,” you teased, though the affection in your voice was unmistakable.
Suddenly, a shrill beeping noise cut through the charged atmosphere, making you both jump.
“What is that?” you asked, pulse still fluttering from the kiss.
Steve’s eyes went wide. “Oh, crap, the timer!” He scrambled off the couch, practically tripping over the coffee table. You followed him with a bemused smile as he disappeared into the adjacent kitchen.
Seconds later, you found him shutting off the buzzer, cheeks flushed.
“I, uh… made dinner,” he confessed, looking adorably sheepish.
Your eyebrows shot up. “You cooked?”
“I mean, I stole your idea,” he admitted, rubbing the back of his neck. “Rob said I should do something nice, so… here we are. My parents were never around much, so I learned a few things. It’s probably not as good as yours, but I figured it was worth a shot.”
A laugh rose in your chest, part delight, part lingering emotional exhaustion. “Robin told you to do this? I gotta thank her.”
He set a potholder aside, shrugging with an embarrassed smile. “She said I had to make it up to you, so… yeah. I guess I’m returning the favour.”
“You’re full of surprises,” you said softly, stepping closer.
Steve let out a quiet breath, a small, relieved grin curving his lips. As you moved into his space, he reached out, fingers ghosting along your arm before settling at your waist.
“And you, deserve it.” He murmured, voice brimming with affection. “Really sweetheart, you deserve the world.”
Something in his tone made your heart clench. Before you could respond, he leaned in again, capturing your lips in a kiss that was slow, tender—altogether mesmerising.
He cradled your face like you might vanish if he wasn’t careful, as though keeping you close was the only way to convince himself that this was real. You tasted the faint salt of his earlier tears, felt his almost giddy smile against your mouth, and the mix of sadness and relief and overwhelming softness made you cling tighter to him.
It was the kind of moment that made the ache worth it, the kind you knew you’d replay in your head a thousand times.
You finally broke apart, just enough to catch your breath. Foreheads touching, you could see the hint of a shaky grin still hovering on his lips.
“I guess this means we’re not breaking up?” you asked playfully.
“Absolutely not,” he shook his head vigorously. “But hey, you might change your mind after you try my cooking.”
“Hey!” you protested, giving his shoulder a playful shove—no malice behind it at all. “I’m not that cruel. Even if it was terrible, I’d never tell you.”
“And there you go being way too good for me,” he chuckles, but this time it feels more like the joke he was aiming for.
One that he knew deep down was not true.

Soobin doesn’t know what to do with himself.
The first glance had him intrigued. The second? Addicted.
Here’s the thing—he’s known you all his life. He was always the kid befriending older guys at school, constantly seeking the company of those ahead of him. He loved it. Until, of course, life happened. One by one, his friends left for university, leaving him behind for one last year of high school. It wasn’t all bad, though—because that’s when he met you.
Yeonjun’s little sister. A friend of his. Someone his age who helped him adjust to a new social scene, introducing him to people and boosting his confidence. You were always there. Always helping. And now? Now he hasn’t seen you in years. He has a life in Seoul. He’s moved on.
Or so he thought.
Because the moment he sees you in that red dress, smiling, radiant, otherworldly—he realizes something painful and undeniable.
He’s so fucked.
And worse? He’s dated you before.
He’s so, so fucked. Yeonjun is going to kill him.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/0037dd8b42c109acaaac8c98869e4226/2f37343109cba0e7-16/s540x810/0207cb3f7505af89c433243a168625c6e2a8d1ad.jpg)
Soobin is hyper-aware of his surroundings.
He always is. It comes with the territory of being a high-profile actor. He’s gotten used to sneaking around, blending into crowds, avoiding unnecessary attention. Weddings in South Korea, though, are practically public events. The worst place to hide. He’s trying to be subtle—maybe if he stands still long enough, he’ll blend into the walls.
“Hi?”
He freezes. He knows that voice anywhere. Familiar, warm—like home. And like regret.
It’s you.
It’s ridiculous, really. He’s standing there, towering over everyone, wearing sunglasses in the middle of December, looking every bit as awkward as he feels.
“Um, hi?” His voice comes out strained, awkward. God, why can’t this be easier? “How have you been?”
What a stupid question. He hasn’t seen you in five years. You both took different paths, built your lives apart. He dated you for two months, so why does it feel like he can’t breathe now that you’re standing in front of him?
“Good.” You smile. “Let’s not make this weird, shall we? It’s been a long time.”
You’re so over him.
And he’s regretting everything.
“Okay,” he says softly. “I’m glad you’re doing okay.”
And just like that, you’re gone. Someone calls your name, and you walk away.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/0037dd8b42c109acaaac8c98869e4226/2f37343109cba0e7-16/s540x810/0207cb3f7505af89c433243a168625c6e2a8d1ad.jpg)
Fuck.
That’s the only thing running through your mind, too.
Why did he have to be this attractive? You had a plan. Approach him, make small talk, prove to yourself you were over him. That was it. But the second you saw him? Plan out the window. He looked unfairly good—taller, broader, blonde. Blonde. What kind of sick joke was this?
And thankfully, mercifully, he didn’t notice the way you reacted.
God, you’re so fucked.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/0037dd8b42c109acaaac8c98869e4226/2f37343109cba0e7-16/s540x810/0207cb3f7505af89c433243a168625c6e2a8d1ad.jpg)
Soobin tells himself he’s fine.
He gave his speech as best man. He made people laugh. He shared embarrassing photos of Yeonjun for everyone’s amusement. He did his job.
But now? Now he’s pissed.
And he knows he shouldn’t be.
You aren’t his. You haven’t been his in years. Even if you were, he doesn’t own you. He understands that—logically. But watching some guy dance too close to you, hands lingering where they shouldn’t—his instincts are screaming.
He knows that look. The same one he’s giving you now. Hunger. Want. Need.
Maybe the guy is your boyfriend. Maybe he isn’t. All Soobin knows is that he hates him.
“Why aren’t you dancing with her if you want her so much?” Taehyun’s voice cuts through his spiraling thoughts. Ever the straightforward one, Taehyun has had the front-row seat to Soobin’s misery for the past five years.
“I don’t deserve her.” The words come out bitter. Regretful. “I broke her heart.”
“Maybe. But she still wants you to try.” Taehyun doesn’t hesitate. “She’s dancing nonstop with Jihoon, but everyone knows he’s chasing her, not the other way around. This isn’t like her. She’s doing this because of you.”
Soobin swallows hard.
“Besides,” Taehyun adds casually, “she told Yeonjun about you two this morning.”
Cold dread washes over him. “What?”
Taehyun shrugs. “I overheard. You know that tree in front of their house? They were talking there.”
“So what did he say?” Soobin asks, voice barely above a whisper.
“No clue. I had to get to work.”
Soobin groans. “How do you just drop information like that and leave?”
“Because I trust you’ll figure it out.” Taehyun smirks. “Now go get your girl. She’s drunk, and she looks done with that guy.”
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/0037dd8b42c109acaaac8c98869e4226/2f37343109cba0e7-16/s540x810/0207cb3f7505af89c433243a168625c6e2a8d1ad.jpg)
Soobin didn’t think it through.
You were drunk, and all he wanted was to get you somewhere safe. A chair—that was the plan. That should have been enough. But then you whined about wanting your bed, and Yeonjun, in a rare moment of brotherly responsibility, decided Soobin was the best person to handle it.
“The party’s ending soon, and I’m leaving for Japan tomorrow,” Yeonjun had said, handing you over like you weren’t his problem anymore. “Just drop her at her apartment.”
And that’s how Soobin found himself here—standing in your building’s dimly lit hallway at an ungodly hour, praying to every higher power that no one was following him. The last thing either of you needed was for the media to sniff this out.
Not that he was worried about himself.
It was you. You, who deserved a normal life. You, who had worked so hard to distance yourself from him, from his world. And yet, here you were, tangled up in his orbit again.
And here’s another thing: you’re just as bad as Yeonjun when it comes to alcohol. Soobin knows this. He also knows you have a soft spot for that fruity soju, the kind that creeps up on you before you even realize you’ve had too much. And he knows you’re probably going to feel sick soon, which is why, in the worst decision he’s made today, he stays.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/0037dd8b42c109acaaac8c98869e4226/2f37343109cba0e7-16/s540x810/0207cb3f7505af89c433243a168625c6e2a8d1ad.jpg)
You’ve been awake for an hour now, your body heavy with the aftermath of last night. The alcohol is gone, drained from your system, but the discomfort lingers—hunger gnawing at your stomach, the stale aftertaste of regret coating your tongue.
You should get up.
You should get water.
But the thought of stepping into an empty apartment makes your chest tighten.
The memory of his hands—gentle as he guided you to bed, careful as he removed your shoes—lingers. He was being nice. That’s all. He was being nice.
God, you still like him.
Five years, and you still haven’t gotten over a man. Two months were all it took for him to ruin you, to make every fleeting touch feel like a shock to your system. You’ve tried. You’ve moved forward. And yet, here you are, terrified of facing an empty space because for a moment—just a moment—he had been here again.
Your breakup had been your fault.
You tell yourself that, over and over.
You were young—barely nineteen, selfish, and desperate for attention. Soobin was chasing his dream, working himself to the bone between university and his company’s relentless trainee schedule. He had asked you to understand. He had begged you to wait. But you got tired. You fought. And the cracks in your heart never quite mended after that.
Soobin has only slept for four hours before deciding he should leave something behind for you—a quiet, impersonal gesture. Some homemade food. A note about how busy he is, how he can’t stay, but he hopes you feel better.
That’s the plan.
And that’s what he’s thinking as he stands in your kitchen, stirring ramen—the closest thing to homemade comfort he can manage.
But then you appear.
The dress from last night is gone, replaced by something that barely qualifies as pajamas. Soobin freezes, spoon clattering against the pot.
December. It’s December, and you’re walking around like this?
Jesus Christ.
“Hi,” he says, clearing his throat. “I made ramen. I hope you’re hungry.”
You don’t answer right away, moving past him to grab a glass of water. He watches as you take a slow sip, the silence stretching between you.
Then, softly, “I’m sorry. For last night.”
Soobin shakes his head. “You don’t have to apologize.”
“I do,” you insist. “I can handle my alcohol better now. You didn’t have to do all this.”
“But I wanted to.” The words slip out before he can stop them. Too honest.
You pause. Then: “Add an egg. They’re on the top shelf.”
It’s not quite an acknowledgment. Not quite forgiveness. But you move to set the table for two without another word, and Soobin understands. He’s staying.
There are things that need to be said.
And it’s not safe for him to leave. You know that. The cameras follow him everywhere. You’d never risk him like that—not after everything.
“It’s done,” he says, bringing the pot to the table. “But I should—”
“Don’t,” you cut in. Your voice is steady, decisive. “The cameras could be outside. Stay.” A pause. Then, softer, “Besides… we need to talk.”
Easier said than done.

The ramen sits between you, steam curling into the air. Neither of you moves to eat.
Soobin watches as you fidget with the edge of your sleeve, pressing the fabric between your fingers like it’s something to hold onto. It’s a nervous habit—one he remembers all too well.
You’re the first to break the silence.
“So… How have you been?”
It’s a ridiculous question. Too small for the weight between you. Too casual for two people who haven’t spoken in years.
Soobin exhales, forcing a small smile. “Busy.”
That much is obvious. His face is everywhere—billboards, magazine covers, TV screens. He’s the one people stop in the streets, the one whose name is whispered in admiration or envy.
But you nod like you don’t already know, like you haven’t seen his face staring back at you from the glossy pages of magazines while waiting in line for coffee.
You reach for your chopsticks, stirring the noodles absently. “And… are you happy?”
That question lands heavier. He doesn’t answer right away.
He should say yes.
He should tell you that everything worked out, that he got everything he wanted, that all the sacrifices were worth it.
Instead, he looks at you—the way you avoid his gaze, the way your fingers tremble slightly before you curl them into a fist—and he tells the truth.
“I don’t know.”
Your breath hitches, but you recover quickly, schooling your features into something unreadable.
You look away, pretending to be focused on your bowl. “I thought you would be.”
Soobin swallows. “I thought you would be, too.”
That gets you. Your fingers tighten around your chopsticks, but you don’t say anything right away.
Soobin leans forward slightly, watching you carefully. “You left first,” he says, quiet but firm. “I waited. I called. And then, one day, you just weren’t there anymore.”
You let out a slow breath, finally meeting his eyes. “And if I had stayed?”
The question is quiet. Almost a whisper.
Soobin blinks. “What?”
“If I had stayed.” You search his face like you’re looking for something—confirmation, maybe. Closure. “Would anything have changed?”
The answer sits heavy on his tongue.
Would it have?
Back then, he was young and hungry, chasing a dream he wasn’t sure he’d ever catch. He was terrified of losing you, but he was also terrified of failing—of choosing wrong, of looking back one day and realizing he had given up too much.
And you—God, you just wanted him. Not the future version of him, not the one he was still trying to become. You just wanted the boy who used to walk you home, the one who held your hand under the table, the one who promised to love you even when things got hard.
Soobin looks at you now, older, sharper, still devastatingly familiar.
“I don’t know,” he admits.
You let out a soft, humorless laugh, shaking your head. “Yeah,” you murmur. “Me neither.”
The room settles into silence again, but this time, it’s different. Softer.
Soobin watches as you finally take a bite of your ramen, eyes fluttering shut for a brief moment at the warmth.
And maybe it’s nothing. Maybe it’s too late.
But for the first time in five years, you’re sitting across from each other, sharing something that feels dangerously close to peace.
And maybe, for now, that’s enough.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/0037dd8b42c109acaaac8c98869e4226/2f37343109cba0e7-16/s540x810/0207cb3f7505af89c433243a168625c6e2a8d1ad.jpg)
“You should go.”
The words taste like regret the moment they leave your lips.
Soobin stills. His chopsticks pause midair before he lowers them onto the table with agonizing slowness.
His eyes meet yours, searching. “You really want that?”
You inhale sharply, willing yourself to hold his gaze. “Yes.”
A lie.
But you say it anyway, because it’s easier than admitting the truth—that his presence is unraveling you piece by piece. That sitting across from him like this, pretending there isn’t history between you, is torture.
Soobin exhales, dragging a hand down his face. “Right.” He pushes his chair back, standing. “I should’ve known.”
He’s hurt. You can see it in the tight set of his jaw, the way his fingers twitch at his sides. And it makes you want to take it back—swallow the words down and tell him to stay.
But you don’t.
You stay seated, gripping your hands together in your lap as he walks toward the door.
He hesitates.
For a moment, it feels like the universe is holding its breath.
Then, his voice—low, steady. “Why do you always do this?”
Your head snaps up. “Do what?”
“Push me away.”
You freeze.
Soobin turns, expression unreadable. “I don’t get it. You let me take care of you. You let me stay. And now you want me to leave?” He lets out a bitter chuckle. “Is this a game to you?”
Your stomach twists. “No.”
“Then what is it?” His voice rises slightly, frustration seeping through. “Because I don’t know what you want from me, and I don’t think you do either.”
Your heart pounds. “I just—” You stop, exhaling shakily. “It’s not that simple, Soobin.”
“It could be.” His gaze softens. “If you let it.”
You shake your head. “You don’t understand—”
“Then make me understand.”
The words cut through the air between you, heavy and full of something you’re not ready to name.
You swallow, feeling exposed. “I don’t want to need you,” you whisper.
Soobin’s expression shifts. He steps closer. “Why?”
“Because it’s dangerous.” Your voice shakes. “Because I’ve spent years trying to forget what it felt like to love you, and every time you’re near, I realize I never really stopped.”
Silence.
Then, Soobin exhales sharply. “You think you were the only one?”
Your breath catches.
“I tried,” he admits. “I tried moving on. I tried pretending you weren’t the best thing that ever happened to me. But it never worked.” His voice drops lower, more vulnerable. “You never left me, _____. Not really.”
You feel yourself crumbling, breaking open under his words.
“So tell me,” he continues, stepping even closer. “Do you really want me to leave?”
You open your mouth—
But the answer is already written all over your face.
And Soobin sees it.
Slowly, hesitantly, he lifts a hand, his fingertips ghosting over yours on the table. “If you tell me to go,” he says softly, “I will.”
You squeeze your eyes shut, inhaling shakily.
Then—
You flip your hand over, letting your fingers intertwine with his.
“You should stay.”
Soobin exhales, like he’s been holding his breath for years.
And this time—
He does.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/0037dd8b42c109acaaac8c98869e4226/2f37343109cba0e7-16/s540x810/0207cb3f7505af89c433243a168625c6e2a8d1ad.jpg)
Soobin stays.
Neither of you says much after that. The weight of your confession lingers in the air between you, delicate and fragile, like glass that could shatter at any second. But neither of you runs.
Instead, you sit there, sharing ramen in comfortable silence, the steam curling between you like something unspoken. His fingers, warm and steady, never fully leave yours—not gripping, not demanding, just there. A quiet promise.
You don’t sleep much.
Even after the bowls are empty, after he insists on washing the dishes, after you both linger in the doorway of your bedroom—uncertain but unwilling to let go—you just lie there, staring at the ceiling, listening to the quiet hum of the city outside.
Somewhere in the other room, Soobin is asleep on your couch.
Or at least, you think he is.
You don’t have the courage to check.
By the time morning comes, you’re still lying in the same position, arms curled under your pillow, the weight of last night pressing down on your chest.
You should get up.
But then—
A soft knock at your door.
You inhale sharply, heart stuttering.
Then, his voice, groggy, uncertain. “Are you awake?”
You swallow. Your fingers curl into the sheets.
You shouldn’t answer. You should pretend you’re asleep, give yourself time to think. But your voice betrays you before your brain catches up.
“Yeah.”
A pause. Then—
The door creaks open.
Soobin stands there, sleep-rumpled and unfairly attractive in the dim morning light. His hoodie hangs loose on his frame, his blonde hair a tousled mess. He looks softer like this—less like the untouchable actor everyone knows, and more like the boy you once loved.
Still love.
He hesitates, fingers gripping the edge of the doorframe. “Can I…?”
You nod before he can finish the question.
And just like that, he steps inside, quiet, careful.
The bed dips under his weight as he sits at the edge, close but not too close. He rubs a hand over his face, sighing.
“I couldn’t sleep,” he admits, voice low.
You exhale, shifting onto your side to face him. “Me neither.”
A small, tired smile flickers across his lips. “Figures.”
Silence stretches between you, but it’s not uncomfortable. It’s just… there. Something old and familiar. Something neither of you knows what to do with.
Then, softly—
“Did you mean it?”
You freeze.
His voice is careful, like he’s afraid of the answer.
You know what he’s asking.
You could lie. You could say it was the alcohol, or the moment, or the past clouding your judgment.
But you don’t.
“Yeah.”
Soobin exhales, shoulders sinking like he’s been carrying the weight of that answer for years.
Then—hesitantly, slowly—he lifts a hand, brushing his fingers against yours on the sheets.
And this time, you don’t pull away.
Not when his fingers trace over your palm. Not when his touch lingers, warm and sure.
Not when he whispers, so quiet you almost miss it—
“Then don’t make me leave.”
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/0037dd8b42c109acaaac8c98869e4226/2f37343109cba0e7-16/s540x810/0207cb3f7505af89c433243a168625c6e2a8d1ad.jpg)
The air between you is thick, suffocating. The moment you told him to stay, the balance shifted. The door remains closed, the walls pressing in, the weight of years apart and the lies you’ve told yourselves coiling tighter and tighter.
Soobin doesn’t let go of your hand. He doesn’t pull away, but he doesn’t move closer either. He’s waiting. For what? For you to give in? For you to push him away again?
You don’t know. But you know this: you can’t breathe.
He exhales sharply, like he’s been holding back words he doesn’t trust himself to say. “I don’t know how to do this with you.”
“Do what?” Your voice barely makes it past your lips. Your fingers twitch in his grip, and that alone has his jaw tightening.
“Pretend,” he murmurs, his thumb brushing against the pulse point of your wrist. His voice is quiet, careful, but there’s an undercurrent of something dangerous. “Pretend that I’m okay. That seeing you doesn’t do something to me. That I haven’t spent the past five years wondering if you ever thought about me, too.”
Your breath stutters, but you force yourself to keep looking at him. “Soobin—”
“I should hate you.” His voice is steadier now, but his grip on your hand betrays him. Tight, like he’s afraid you’ll slip away again. “Do you know that?”
You swallow. “I know.”
“I tried.” He lets out a sharp laugh, bitter and tired. “God, I fucking tried.”
“So did I,” you whisper. “I tried forgetting you, too.”
His fingers tighten around yours. “Did it work?”
“No.”
The word sits heavy in the air, and for a moment, neither of you move. The ramen has gone cold. The room feels smaller. Your heart is a hammer against your ribs, and still, he doesn’t let go.
Then, his eyes flicker downward—just for a second. To your lips.
And that’s when you do it.
You rip your hand from his and step back, breathing uneven. “This isn’t fair.”
Soobin looks at you like you’ve just torn something out of him. “No. It’s not.”
You turn away, hands trembling as you grip the edge of the counter. “We’re not kids anymore. We can’t just—just fall back into whatever this is.”
“What is this, then?” His voice is lower now, rough, frayed at the edges. “Tell me. Because I think about you, and it makes me fucking sick how much I still—”
He stops himself. He presses his lips together so tightly it looks painful. He takes a deep breath, then another. But it doesn’t help. You can see it. The storm in his eyes. The anger. The longing.
You shake your head, pushing down everything clawing its way up your throat. “You should go.”
“No.”
You whip around. “Soobin—”
“No.” He steps forward, and this time, you’re the one who freezes. He towers over you, his presence burning into your skin. “You don’t get to do this. You don’t get to pull me back in just to push me away again.”
His voice drops lower, dangerously soft. “I stayed away for five years. I did what you wanted. I let you go. And now you tell me to stay, and then you tell me to leave?”
You close your eyes. “I don’t know what I’m doing.”
He exhales sharply. Then, after a long pause, he whispers, “Neither do I.”
Another silence. But this one is different.
You open your eyes, and he’s right there. Close enough to touch. Close enough that you can see the way his lashes tremble, the way his fingers curl into fists at his sides like he’s physically holding himself back.
And you can feel it—
The breaking point.
It’s coming.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/0037dd8b42c109acaaac8c98869e4226/2f37343109cba0e7-16/s540x810/0207cb3f7505af89c433243a168625c6e2a8d1ad.jpg)
His breath catches. His fingers flex against the fabric of his hoodie, knuckles whitening like he’s barely holding himself back.
His silence is unbearable, but you don’t know how to fix it.
So you move before you can talk yourself out of it.
Slowly, carefully, you reach for his hand, mirroring the way he was holding you. Just a brush of your fingertips at first, testing, waiting—until he lets out a shaky exhale and turns his palm over to catch you.
Your fingers intertwine again, the simplest thing in the world.
Soobin's voice is hoarse when he speaks. "Tell me what you want."
"I don’t know," you admit. "I don’t know if I can do this again. If I can survive losing you twice."
Something flickers in his expression—something raw, breaking.
"I never wanted you to lose me."
"Then why did it feel like I had to?"
Soobin squeezes your hand, his thumb brushing over the ridges of your knuckles. His voice is unsteady when he says, "Because I was scared. Of ruining things. Of choosing wrong."
"And now?"
Now.
Soobin doesn’t answer immediately. Instead, he lifts your joined hands, pressing his forehead to the back of yours like he’s trying to ground himself. You can feel the unspoken words vibrating against your skin, seeping through his touch.
Now, he's still scared. But more than that—he doesn’t want to lose you again.
His lips part, breath warm against your skin. "I think I've been in love with you this whole time."
Your heart stops.
Then—before you can overthink it, before logic creeps in and tears this moment apart—you let go of his hand.
Only to reach for his face.
Your fingers thread through his hair, pulling him in, and before you can fully process what you're doing, your lips brush against his.
Soft. Tentative.
The moment you start to pull away, Soobin makes a sound—low and desperate in the back of his throat—and suddenly, he's kissing you like he's afraid you'll disappear.
His hands are warm when they cup your face, tilting your head so he can deepen the kiss, so he can drink you in like he’s been starving for you.
And maybe he has.
Maybe you have, too.
The past and the present blur together, all the years apart collapsing into this one unbearable, impossible moment.
And when you finally break apart, forehead resting against his, breaths mingling in the quiet night, you realize something terrifying.
Loving him was never the problem.
It was surviving it that scared you.
And now?
Now, you're not sure you care about surviving at all.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/0037dd8b42c109acaaac8c98869e4226/2f37343109cba0e7-16/s540x810/0207cb3f7505af89c433243a168625c6e2a8d1ad.jpg)
Soobin can’t stop kissing you.
It’s reckless. Messy. A raw, consuming need that shakes through him, leaves him breathless, leaves you breathless. His fingers dig into your waist like he needs something to hold onto, something to tether himself to reality, because this—this doesn’t feel real. It feels like something forbidden, like something he shouldn’t have, but is taking anyway.
It’s crazy. It’s physically impossible for him to stop.
And you don’t want him to.
Your hands are in his hair, tugging, nails scratching lightly against his scalp, and he shudders. His lips press harder, deeper, stealing the air from your lungs, but you don’t care. You’d let him. You’d give it to him.
Then you whimper. Just the softest, neediest sound—one you didn’t mean to make, one you probably don’t even realize you made.
How dare you.
Soobin groans against your mouth, low and guttural, and suddenly, his hands are everywhere—gripping your hips, sliding up your sides, pressing you closer, closer, like there will never be enough space between you to satisfy him.
"Please," you breathe, and it’s wrecked.
His lips hover just above yours, his forehead resting against yours as he exhales sharply. His eyes are dark, heavy-lidded, but there’s something else, something deeper—like he’s drowning in you and has no desire to come up for air.
"Fuck," he mutters, his voice rough, strained. Your name follows, dripping from his lips like a prayer. "You need to stop making those sounds." He swallows hard, his jaw clenched. "Unless you want another thing."
Another thing.
You shiver, your fingers curling around the fabric of his hoodie, barely keeping yourself grounded.
But Soobin doesn’t stop. His lips keep finding yours between words, between breaths, and god—he kisses like he’s never going to get the chance again. Soft, then rough, then soft again. Like he’s caught in between worshipping you and ruining you.
And then you moan.
A real moan. Not soft. Not restrained. A full, broken, breathless moan.
And that’s it. That’s the end of his control.
Soobin curses under his breath, something low, something desperate. Then suddenly, he shifts—presses you down, his body covering yours completely. His hands, once hesitant, now move like they have a purpose, sliding up, gripping, mapping out every inch of you like he’s memorizing it.
His lips are everywhere now—your jaw, your throat, your collarbone—hot and lingering, teeth grazing, tongue soothing.
"God," he breathes against your skin. "You don’t—" He presses another kiss just beneath your ear, his voice unraveling. "You don’t get it, do you?"
You can barely think, barely form words. "Get what?"
"How long—" He exhales sharply, his breath fanning against your skin. "How long I’ve wanted this."
Your chest tightens. "Then why—"
"Because I was a fucking coward," he admits, voice thick, raw. His fingers tilt your chin up, forcing you to meet his gaze. His eyes are unreadable—too many things crashing together at once. Lust. Longing. Something deeper. Something dangerous. "But I can’t be, not right now. Not when you’re—"
You kiss him before he can finish.
Because you don’t want to hear whatever doubt lingers in his words. Not now. Not when his body is so warm, not when his lips taste like regret and longing and every single thing you’ve ever tried to suppress.
Soobin groans into your mouth, deep and ruined, and it sets you on fire.
And the worst part?
You know this won’t be enough.
It never will be.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/0037dd8b42c109acaaac8c98869e4226/2f37343109cba0e7-16/s540x810/0207cb3f7505af89c433243a168625c6e2a8d1ad.jpg)
"Stop moving," Soobin growls against your neck. His voice is low, strained, barely holding together. His lips are hot where they press into your skin, and his hands—god, his hands—grip your waist like you’re something fragile, something he’s trying so hard not to break.
But you don’t make it easy for him.
You shift again, just the slightest movement, but it’s enough. Enough for him to tighten his grip, enough for him to press his hips just a little closer, enough for his breath to come out sharp, ragged.
"Or what?" you ask, breathless, teasing, your voice tinged with something dangerous.
You know exactly what you’re doing.
His eyes flick up to yours, dark, heavy, filled with something that makes your stomach flip. And it’s only then that you realize just how close his face is to yours—how you can feel every unsteady breath he takes, how the heat between you feels unbearable, suffocating in the best possible way.
Your lips are swollen, kiss-bruised, and when his gaze drops to them, his jaw clenches.
"Or you’re going to regret it," he murmurs, voice rough, thick with a warning you know he fully intends to follow through on.
But you don’t stop.
Maybe you want to push him. Maybe you want to see what happens when he snaps.
So you shift again, just the tiniest bit, your knee brushing against his thigh, your fingers ghosting over the fabric of his hoodie. Innocent movements, but not really. Not when his breath stutters, not when his fingers twitch against your waist like he’s barely holding himself back.
"Soobin," you whisper, and you don’t even know what you’re asking for, but you can feel the shift in the air between you. Heavy. Charged. Unforgiving.
His hand moves suddenly, gripping your chin, tilting your face up until there’s nowhere to look but at him. His thumb brushes the edge of your bottom lip, and his breath is uneven, his restraint hanging by a thread.
"Do you even know what you’re doing to me?" he asks, his voice low, almost desperate.
And before you can answer, before you can even think, his lips are back on yours.
But this time, it’s different.
This time, it’s not just desperate—it’s deliberate. It’s slow, like he wants you to feel every second of it, every inch of the way he kisses you, the way he presses against you.
Like he’s trying to prove something.
And maybe—just maybe—you’re about to find out exactly what happens when you push him too far.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/0037dd8b42c109acaaac8c98869e4226/2f37343109cba0e7-16/s540x810/0207cb3f7505af89c433243a168625c6e2a8d1ad.jpg)
You moan again.
It’s soft, wrecked, the kind of sound that makes his restraint snap like a thread pulled too tight.
The heat between you is suffocating. You’re burning, aching, every nerve in your body hypersensitive to the way Soobin touches you—like he needs to, like he has no choice.
His breathing is ragged, uneven, his grip on you tightening as if you might slip away.
"Fucking hell, ___," he rasps, voice dark, rough, filled with something dangerous. "Be clear. What do you want now? What do you fucking want?"
His forehead presses to yours, his lips ghosting over your mouth but never quite kissing you, torturing you with the distance. His fingers dig into your waist like he’s barely holding himself back.
"You," you whisper, the word breaking apart in your throat. It’s desperate, needy. You don’t care.
Something shifts.
Soobin exhales sharply, a curse slipping past his lips before he finally—finally—loses the control he was clinging to.
His mouth crashes into yours, rough, insatiable, as if he’s been starving for you and is only now letting himself feast. His hands roam your body, urgent but reverent, like he’s trying to map out every inch of you, trying to commit this moment to memory.
He pulls back just enough to look at you, to drink you in. His pupils are blown wide, his lips swollen and glistening.
"I shouldn't be thinking about you the way I do," he murmurs, his voice almost unsteady. "You make me so fucking crazy."
His lips trail down your neck, hot, open-mouthed kisses pressed into your skin, each one sending a shiver down your spine. His teeth graze your collarbone, and your breath catches.
"That red dress you wore yesterday—fuck." His voice is barely controlled, like the thought alone is unraveling him. "At your brother’s wedding… you have no idea what you did to me."
His hands slide lower, skimming the curve of your waist, gripping you like you belong to him. His mouth follows the path of his hands, kissing, tasting, worshiping.
"You were always beautiful," he breathes against your skin, voice thick with something deeper than lust. "You always were. But yesterday... yesterday, you were fucking stunning."
He pulls back just slightly, his breath hot against your chest. His hands settle over your ribs, thumbs grazing sensitive skin, just barely there, just enough to drive you insane.
And then he stills. Waiting.
"Can I touch you here?" he asks, his voice lower now, raspier, the last shreds of his restraint hanging by a thread.
You shudder. There’s no hesitation.
"Yes."
It comes out breathless, desperate.
The second the word leaves your lips, his hands move—slow, deliberate, fingertips dragging over your skin like he wants to savor every reaction, every tremor that runs through you.
Like he wants you to feel every single second of it.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/0037dd8b42c109acaaac8c98869e4226/2f37343109cba0e7-16/s540x810/0207cb3f7505af89c433243a168625c6e2a8d1ad.jpg)
Soobin takes his time.
He isn’t just exploring you—he’s worshiping. Every inch of your skin is sacred under his touch, and he treats it like something to be memorized. His fingers drag over your ribs, featherlight, teasing. His lips trace slow, reverent paths down your collarbone, pressing kisses that feel more like devotions.
"I'm gonna take these off, okay?" he murmurs, fingers slipping beneath the straps of your bra.
You can only nod, breathless, as he peels the fabric away, eyes darkening at the sight of you. He exhales sharply, almost in disbelief, his hands hesitating like he needs a second to take it all in.
"These are so pretty," he whispers, voice rough. His fingers graze over you, barely there. Then firmer. His thumb flicks over one peak, and you shudder. "Fucking missed them. So much."
His lips replace his fingers, hot and wet and needy. He sucks, licks, nips—his mouth working you over like he's making up for lost time.
"God," he groans against your skin, his voice half-wrecked. "They didn’t look this full before."
The moan that leaves your lips is absolutely shameful—high-pitched, desperate, almost embarrassing. But you don’t care.
Soobin definitely doesn’t care.
He groans at the sound, his grip tightening as if he's trying to steady himself. But then he does it again—scraping his teeth lightly against you, his tongue soothing over the sting, sucking just enough to make you whimper.
"Shit," he breathes, voice shaking. "You're too good. Too fucking good."
He looks up at you, eyes burning. And then he does it again.
And again.
Until you're nothing but gasps and shivers and pure, unbearable need.
"Please," you whimper, your voice barely more than a breath. "Please."
Soobin’s lips hover just above your skin, his breath warm against your cheek. He doesn’t move, doesn’t give in. His fingers dig into your waist, keeping you still, keeping you desperate.
"What do you want, sweetheart?" His voice is low, teasing, thick with something dark and knowing.
"You."
His lips quirk up slightly. "But you have me right now, hm?" His tone is deceptively soft, but there’s something else underneath—something dangerous.
"You know what I mean," you say, almost frustrated.
He tilts his head, pretending to consider. "No, I don’t," he murmurs. "Tell me."
Your cheeks burn. Your entire body burns. But you say it anyway, voice shaking with need.
"Please, I want you inside."
Something in him snaps.
"Oh? Me?" He pulls back slightly, just enough to look you in the eyes, his own gaze dark, unreadable. "The man you wanted so bad to leave?"
Your nails dig into his shoulders. "Fuck you, Soobin."
He laughs, a low, breathy sound that vibrates against your skin. He leans in, his lips brushing your ear.
"Ah, yes, babe, I’m fucking you," he whispers, his voice dripping with wicked amusement. His hands tighten their hold on you. "And you’re gonna take it—every inch—because you know damn well that you’ve been mine just as much as I’ve been yours."
His words send a shudder down your spine, a delicious ache curling in your gut.
"Mmm," Soobin hums, dragging his hands down your sides, his touch maddeningly slow. "Should I take my time with you... or not?"
Your body is burning, aching. You can’t take it anymore.
"Just do it," you snap, your voice needy, desperate.
He chuckles, tilting his head, dark amusement flickering in his eyes. "That eager, huh? Then help me out, baby." His fingers toy with the waistband of your shorts. "Take these off. Let me see that beautiful body of yours—fully naked."
Your fingers shake as you push them down, the cool air against your exposed skin doing nothing to cool the fire raging inside you.
"This is unfair," you mumble, looking up at him. "You’re still dressed."
That’s all it takes.
In one smooth motion, Soobin pulls off his shirt, then his pants, and finally, his boxers. He doesn’t hesitate. He doesn’t tease. He just stands before you—bare, unashamed, strong.
And big.
Your breath catches in your throat. God. It’s been a while since you last saw him like this, but—oh, wow. Yeah. Big. He was always like that.
Your mouth parts slightly, your thighs instinctively pressing together.
He catches it. Of course, he catches it.
A smirk tugs at his lips as he leans down, pressing his mouth to your ear. "Speechless?" he murmurs, his voice dripping with satisfaction. "Missed me that much, baby?"
His hands find your hips, gripping them firmly as he pulls you flush against him. Skin to skin. Heat to heat.
"You have no idea," you whisper.
You moan when he dares to tease you, his fingers ghosting over your aching heat, his breath hot against your skin. It’s unbearable.
Your patience snaps.
"Fuck you, Soobin," you nearly growl, frustration dripping from your voice. "Why the fuck—just please."
He looks at you, amused, entirely too in control. He loves this. Loves watching you unravel.
"Poor, desperate thing," he muses, tilting his head like he’s savoring every second of your frustration. "So fucking needy. Do you want me that bad?"
Your face burns. Humiliation and desire mix in a dizzying cocktail, but you can’t lie.
"Yeah," you admit, barely above a whisper.
Soobin hums in satisfaction, his hands gripping your thighs, thumbs smoothing circles against your heated skin. "Mmm, I think I should have my fun first," he murmurs. Then, without another word, he drops to his knees before you, eyes dark, pupils blown wide with hunger.
His breath hits you first, warm and teasing, and then his voice—low and devastating.
"Has this sweet little hole missed me?"
Before you can even react, he licks a slow, deliberate stripe up your center, sending a violent shudder through your body.
You cry out, hands flying to his hair. Oh, god. No, no, please—oh, don’t stop.
And then you lose it.
Soobin devours you, his mouth hot and greedy, tongue working you like he’s been waiting for this moment forever. The wet sounds, the low, satisfied groans he lets out against you—it’s filthy, overwhelming. His grip tightens, pressing you further into his mouth, making sure you feel every movement, every flick of his tongue.
"Let me worship this pussy," he groans against you, his voice muffled and rough. "It’s been too fucking long."
Your back arches.
"Fuck, you taste even better than I remember." His lips press against your thigh, only to return to where you need him most. "Mmm, let’s take our time with this, babe. Some good, long foreplay, yeah?"
You can’t help it—you start moving, rocking your hips against his face, desperate for more friction, more of him. The pleasure is too much, too overwhelming, and you barely register the strangled sound Soobin makes as you grind down against his tongue.
"God," you whimper, your breath hitching. "I’m—"
His fingers tease at your entrance, slow, lazy, completely unbothered by your urgency. "What? Gonna cum already, babe?" His voice is muffled, drenched in amusement, lips slick and glistening from you. "Mmm, you really are needy, huh?"
He presses a teasing kiss against your thigh before slipping a finger inside, just barely, making you jerk.
"Bet that boyfriend of yours doesn’t give you shit," he murmurs, voice laced with something sharp, something possessive.
"I don’t—" You gasp as he pushes in deeper, a single finger stretching you open just enough to make you shudder. "Fuck, fuck," your head tilts back, eyes rolling as he adds another. "I don’t have a boyfriend."
That makes him pause. You feel his smirk against your skin before he speaks.
"You don’t?" He croons, curling his fingers just right, making your whole body jolt. "No wonder you’re this fucking desperate. God, you needed this, didn’t you?"
"Soobin—"
"Wanna cum, babe?" His breath is hot against your core, his fingers still working you open. "Say it."
"Yeah," you pant, gripping at his hair, hips still rolling instinctively against his hand.
"Mmm," he hums, withdrawing his fingers just enough to make you whine, just enough to leave you aching. "Let’s edge you a little first."
"No—fuck you," you snap, your voice dripping with frustration.
His low chuckle sends shivers down your spine. "You get so fucking mean when you’re horny," he muses, pumping his fingers in again, slower, teasing. "I like this coming from you."
And then he presses his tongue against your clit again, and all coherent thoughts disappear.
The coil in your belly winds so tight, so unbearable, that when it finally snaps, it sends you spiraling.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck—" your voice breaks, and your entire body trembles as the pleasure crashes over you in waves. Your thighs clamp around his head, fingers tangling in his hair as you convulse, lost in the euphoria of it.
Soobin groans against you, feeling everything—the way your walls pulse around his fingers, the way your body shudders under his grip, the way you completely come undone for him. And fuck, it’s the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen.
But he doesn’t stop. He doesn’t dare stop.
He laps at you, drinking in every drop, his tongue relentless as he works you through the high, dragging it out, making your legs shake. His hands tighten around your hips, keeping you still, keeping you his.
"Soobin—oh, god—" Your voice is hoarse, wrecked, but he doesn't let up. His tongue flicks over your sensitive clit again and you jerk, body twisting, overstimulated and desperate.
"You taste so fucking good," he groans against you, voice thick with hunger. "Missed this. Missed you."
You whimper, pushing at his head, your body twitching, too much, too much—
But Soobin just smirks against your trembling thighs, eyes dark, voice husky.
"One more," he murmurs. "Give me one more, baby. I know you can."
When you come again, it blindsides you. You weren’t lying—it was too much, your body was too sensitive, but somehow, it still betrays you, still obeys the relentless pleasure he’s forcing on you.
The orgasm rips through you, fast and hard, stealing the breath from your lungs. It’s overwhelming, all-consuming—your thighs quake, your back arches, and your hands claw helplessly at the sheets, at him, at anything to ground yourself.
And then—fuck.
A rush of wetness spills from you in pulsing waves, leaving you breathless, wrecked.
Soobin stills for half a second, then groans, long and deep, as if you just gave him the most precious gift. His hands tighten on your thighs as he watches, completely mesmerized, watching how your body gushes for him, soaking his mouth, his chin, the sheets beneath you.
“Holy fuck.” His voice is thick, raspy, wrecked. "Look at you, baby." He doesn’t miss a single drop, drinking you in like he’s been starving for you, eyes dark with pure, unfiltered lust.
You whimper, trembling, overstimulated beyond belief. “Soobin—fuck, I can’t, I—”
He shushes you, pressing slow, deliberate kisses to your inner thighs, letting you feel the way his lips linger. His hands caress your shaking legs, soothing and possessive at the same time.
“You can,” he murmurs against your skin. “And you did.” His voice drips with pride, with something dangerously close to reverence. “You’re so fucking perfect.”
And then, with a wicked smirk, he licks his lips, tasting you all over again.
“Think you can give me one more, sweetheart?”
“No”
Soobin chuckles, low and deep, the sound vibrating through the air between you. His hands trail lazily over your trembling thighs, teasing, never staying in one place long enough to satisfy.
"No?" He mimics your weak protest, tilting his head as if he’s actually considering giving you a break. But the smirk playing on his lips says otherwise.
Then he sees it—sees the way your eyes keep flickering downward, dark and hazy, locked onto him. The way your breath hitches just slightly at the sight of his cock, thick and hard, standing between you.
“Mmm, we should let this body rest, shouldn’t we?” His tone is soft, almost pitying, but there’s a dangerous gleam in his eyes. “You’re so sensitive, all worn out, we should stop—”
He pauses, trailing a teasing finger up your inner thigh.
“But,” he drawls, watching the way you squirm, “the way you’re looking at me right now? Fuck, sweetheart, you’re practically salivating.” His voice drops lower, rougher. “You know you’re trouble, don’t you?”
Your breath stutters, but you shake your head weakly. “Mmm… no.”
His eyes darken instantly. “Liar.”
You swallow, voice barely above a whisper. “Want you.”
His grip on your thighs tightens.
You’re relentless now, pleading, your voice thick with need. “I really want you.”
Soobin hums, his fingers skating dangerously close to where you need him most, barely there, teasing. “Didn’t you just say you needed a rest?”
You nod, breathless. “Yeah…”
He raises a brow. “So what happened?”
You whimper, arching into his touch, impatient. “I—fuck—I want you,” you admit, your voice trembling with desperation. “It’s been too long. Please.”
Something in him snaps.
A slow, wicked grin spreads across his face as he leans in, his lips brushing against your ear, his breath hot and heavy.
“You want me that bad?” His voice is dark, full of something you can’t quite name.
You nod rapidly, your whole body begging for him.
He chuckles again, low and satisfied, pressing a soft, teasing kiss against your jaw.
“Then, baby,” he murmurs, “you better take what you asked for.”
And just like that—despite the way your body trembles, despite the way you're still reeling from the last two orgasms that left you oversensitive and dazed—he enters you.
It’s slow at first, agonizingly slow, as if he’s savoring the feeling of stretching you open, of feeling you take him inch by inch. Your breath hitches, a gasp spilling from your lips at the fullness, the overwhelming sensation of being filled.
But then he snaps.
A sharp inhale, a guttural curse under his breath, and all that patience vanishes. His grip on your hips tightens—no hesitation, no holding back.
"Gotta fuck this pussy like she deserves to be fucked." His voice is rough, wrecked, tinged with something possessive.
He drives into you, deep and unrelenting, his hips slamming against yours with a force that makes your head spin. The room fills with the obscene sound of skin against skin, the wet, messy proof of just how much you need this, how much you need him.
Your hands claw at his back, nails digging into his skin as he pounds into you, dragging you closer, forcing you to take every inch. Every thrust sends a new wave of pleasure tearing through you, unbearable and yet not enough.
"So fucking tight," he growls, watching the way your body swallows him whole, clenching around him, greedy. "Like you were made for me."
You can't even respond—your words lost to the moans and cries spilling uncontrollably from your lips.
His hand grips your jaw, forcing your eyes to meet his. "Look at me," he commands, voice dark, dangerous. "You feel that? Hm? You feel how deep I am?"
You nod weakly, barely able to think.
"Good," he grits out, snapping his hips even harder. "Because I'm not stopping until I ruin you."
He does ruin you. Completely.
The sound of it—wet, obscene, filthy—fills the space, each thrust echoing between the walls like a symphony of pure sin. Your body is a mess beneath him, pliant and wrecked, reduced to nothing but sensation, but pleasure.
And Soobin devours you.
His lips find every inch of your skin—your neck, your collarbone, the hollow of your throat—leaving open-mouthed kisses, sucking bruises that will linger long after this moment. His hands roam, gripping, kneading, worshiping. Every touch is possessive, claiming.
Your only response is to take it. To surrender to the way he stretches you, fills you so perfectly. It’s been too long since you’ve felt like this, since you’ve felt this full, this good.
"You feel that, baby?" he mutters against your jaw, his voice thick with lust, his thrusts sharp and punishing. "This is what you’ve been missing. What no one else can fucking give you."
You moan—a broken, desperate sound.
"Say it," he demands, his fingers slipping between your bodies, finding that sensitive bundle of nerves and pressing down hard.
You jolt, eyes rolling back. "You," you gasp. "Only you—fuck—no one else."
He groans, burying his face against your neck as if the admission undoes him. And then he snaps, fucking into you like he wants to make sure you’ll never forget this, never forget him.
"I'm gonna fucking cum," you practically scream, your voice breaking, body trembling.
Soobin chuckles, low and taunting, never slowing his ruthless pace. "Oh, poor baby," he coos mockingly, his fingers slipping down between your bodies, finding your clit with wicked precision. He presses down, rubs slow, lazy circles—just to watch you squirm.
"You wanna cum that bad?" he murmurs, voice dripping with amusement, eyes dark with something feral. "So fucking desperate. Look at you—shaking. You can’t even take it, can you?"
You whimper, your fingers clawing at his back, his arms, anything you can reach. It’s too much, too good, too perfect. Your body is fire, every nerve on the edge of combustion.
"So needy for me," Soobin groans, leaning down, his lips brushing over yours. "But you know I love it when you beg, sweetheart. So why don’t you be a good girl and ask me for it?"
Your pride and sanity shatter.
"Please," you gasp, wrecked and mindless. "Please, Soobin, let me cum. Please—"
"That’s my girl," he growls, and then he rubs harder, fucks you deeper, until you break—until you fall apart around him with a sobbing cry, your body seizing, pleasure crashing over you like a tidal wave.
And Soobin watches it all, drinking in every second, every sound, every tremor of your body as you unravel beneath him.
It takes him a few seconds—just long enough to watch you come undone beneath him, to feel your walls flutter and clench so tightly around him that his restraint snaps like a frayed wire.
A deep, guttural groan rumbles from his chest as his hips stutter, losing rhythm. His fingers dig into your waist, hard, holding you still as he buries himself to the hilt.
"Fuck—" he rasps, his head dropping into the crook of your neck as he spills inside you, the heat of it making you shudder. He pulses, each wave of his release drawn out by the way your body still clenches greedily around him.
He pants against your skin, his breath hot and uneven. "Shit," he mutters, pressing absentminded kisses against your jaw, your cheek, anywhere he can reach. His hand slides up your side, lazy, possessive. "You feel so fucking good—"
You're still trembling, body sensitive, spent, but you turn your head, catching his lips in a slow, messy kiss. He groans into it, hips rolling shallowly, like he can't stop, like he’s still savoring every aftershock.
Neither of you move for a long moment. Just the sound of your mingled breathing, his weight pressing you into the mattress, the warmth of his release still deep inside you.
Then, finally, Soobin exhales a small, breathless laugh against your skin.
"Yeah." He nuzzles into your neck, voice lower, softer now. "You're mine."
You smile, breath still uneven, body still trembling. "I always was."
Soobin exhales sharply, like the words hit him somewhere deep. His arms tighten around you, pressing your body closer, unwilling to let go just yet. He kisses you—slow, lingering, almost tender now. Like he’s sealing something between you.
You don’t remember falling asleep, only the warmth of his body wrapped around yours, the steady rise and fall of his chest against your back, the way his fingers lazily traced circles into your hip until everything faded into darkness.

You wake up to sunlight slipping through the curtains, golden and soft, warming your skin. The bed smells like him—clean and musky, something uniquely Soobin. His arm is still draped over your waist, heavy and possessive, fingers curled slightly like he’s afraid you’ll slip away.
You shift slightly, your body sore in ways that make heat curl in your stomach. That definitely happened.
A low, sleepy hum comes from behind you. "Mmm, morning." Soobin’s voice is rough, thick with sleep. He tightens his hold, nuzzling into your neck. "Where do you think you’re going?"
You let out a soft laugh. "Nowhere."
"Good." He presses a lazy kiss to your shoulder, his lips warm and slow, like he’s savoring the moment. "Stay right here."
You roll over to face him, and god—he looks unfairly good in the morning. Tousled hair, drowsy eyes, lips still slightly swollen from last night. He blinks down at you, then smirks. "You look wrecked."
"Whose fault is that?" you mumble, stretching.
"Mine." He grins, completely unapologetic. "And I’d do it again."
Your cheeks heat, but before you can reply, Soobin rolls on top of you, caging you in effortlessly. His weight is comforting, his bare skin warm against yours.
"What are you doing?" you ask, even though you already know.
"Making sure you don’t regret it." He brushes his nose against yours, voice still thick with sleep, but his hands are already moving, slow and teasing. "And if you don’t, then I think I have some unfinished business with you, sweetheart."

It’s practically lunchtime when you and Soobin finally decide to leave the bed. Your body aches in the best way possible, but more importantly—your stomach aches for actual food.
You call for delivery, and right in front of you, like fate, they drop off food from your favorite restaurant just a few blocks away. Perfect.
Soobin busies himself preparing the table, setting out plates, pouring water into glasses, smoothing out the tablecloth like this is something the two of you do all the time. Like he belongs here. Like this isn’t completely new and terrifying.
Everything is so domestic, so effortless—it almost scares you.
You watch him for a moment before blurting out, "Soob, you’re truly an idiot."
He freezes mid-reach for the utensils, turning to look at you, confused. "Huh?"
You inhale sharply, then murmur, "We didn’t use protection last night… or today."
Soobin’s eyes widen. "Fuck." He looks absolutely stricken, like the realization just knocked the air out of his lungs. "Oh my god, I was too focused on— I mean, I was so into you that I just—fuck."
You cross your arms, watching him spiral.
"Babe, I swear, I’m clean." His voice is urgent now, panicked. "I got tested two weeks ago—I think I still have the document on my phone. You can check—"
You can’t help it—you laugh. "Lucky for you, I’m on birth control."
Soobin sags in relief, pressing a hand to his forehead. "Jesus." Then, his expression shifts to something more serious, his brows knitting together. "This is a thing for two—I should have been more responsible. I’m sorry."
You step closer, poking his chest. "Damn right you should have been."
His lips quirk into a sheepish smile. "I’ll make it up to you."
You raise an eyebrow. "How?"
Soobin leans down, voice dropping, teasing, "Well… I could start by feeding you before you get grumpy."
You roll your eyes but let him press a kiss to your forehead anyway. The moment should feel awkward, heavy even, but instead, it feels warm. Familiar.
You don’t even think before you say it. The words just spill out as you sit across from him at the table, food untouched between you.
"We need to talk."
Soobin looks up immediately, jaw tightening like he’s already bracing for the worst. His fingers tighten around his chopsticks, but he doesn’t interrupt.
Before you can even gather your thoughts, he exhales sharply, running a hand through his hair. "Before you say anything, I know." His voice is quieter now, a little rough. "I know how hard it was for you back then."
You open your mouth, but he keeps going.
"Babe, I didn’t pay attention to you."* His eyes flicker with regret, dark and heavy with memories that still linger between you. "And I am so sorry. But I didn’t have the time back then—I had just made it into university, and I was juggling a full-on trainee schedule. I barely had a second to breathe."*
He looks down at his hands like he can barely stand to face you.
"At the time, I didn’t understand why you made such a fuss. I thought you were overreacting. But looking back… fuck, I was selfish. I was spending fourteen hours a day training, barely sleeping, and the little time I had left, I should have given to you."
His voice cracks, and when he looks up, his eyes are shining with something raw. "You were at university too, just as busy, and still… you made time for me. You always made time for me. You’d cook my meals, check up on me, make sure I ate something even when I got home at 2 AM—and I took you for granted."
Your heart clenches painfully.
"I will always be deeply sorry for that," Soobin continues, his throat bobbing as he swallows. "I should’ve been better. I should’ve been there for you like you were for me."
His hand reaches out across the table, tentative, fingers brushing against yours.
"But I never stopped loving you. Not even once."
Silence stretches between you. The weight of his words sinks into your skin, deep and unshakable.
It would be so easy to let that be enough—to fall back into him completely, to pretend the past doesn’t matter.
But it does.
So you take a breath, steadying yourself, and finally, finally, you start to say everything you’ve been holding in for years.
"You really hurt me, Soobin." Your voice is quiet, but steady. "I don’t think you ever realized how lonely I felt back then. It wasn’t just that you were busy—it was that I felt like I didn’t exist to you anymore."
He flinches, like the words hit him straight in the chest.
"I’d wait for you. Every night, I’d wait. I’d cook you something, even if I knew you’d barely touch it. I’d leave you messages, even if I knew you wouldn’t answer until hours later. And I told myself it was fine. That I could handle it. That I was just being selfish for wanting more of you."
You shake your head, swallowing the lump in your throat. "But it wasn’t fine. And I wasn’t selfish. I just wanted to be with you."
Soobin grips your hand tighter. "I know. I know, and I was a fucking idiot. I don’t think I really let myself see how much it was affecting you. I was so focused on surviving every day that I just… I don’t know. I thought you’d always be there. And that was unfair of me."
He swipes a hand down his face, exhaling shakily. "I can’t change what I did back then. I can’t undo the times I hurt you. But if you’ll let me—if you still want this—I swear I’ll spend every day making up for it."
Your chest tightens.
The truth is, you never stopped wanting him.
And maybe that’s the most terrifying part of all.
You squeeze his hand. "I’m still scared, Soobin. I don’t know if things will be different this time."
"They will be." His voice is firm, certain. "Because I’m different. And if you give me the chance, I’ll prove it to you."
You don’t answer right away. Instead, you watch the way his fingers tighten around yours like he’s scared you’ll slip through them again. You watch the way he looks at you—like you’re something he refuses to take for granted ever again.
"For the record," Soobin starts, voice quieter now, steadier, "my career will not be a problem anymore."
Your breath catches, but you let him speak.
"I don’t want to hide you. I never did, and I won’t—not unless you’re uncomfortable with how public it’s going to get. If you are, then I swear I’ll respect that. But me? I will always stand for you."
His fingers tighten around yours, warm and firm, like an unspoken promise.
"I will always be there from now on." His voice wavers just slightly. "I should’ve been there before, but I wasn’t. I don’t deserve you after all the ways I hurt you… but I love you, and I want to make you so fucking happy, babe."
A lump rises in your throat.
"You’re the only reason I keep working so hard," he continues. "Every day, I push myself so I can prove that it was all worth it. But the thing is… none of it means anything without you."
Your heart stutters.
"I have everything I ever dreamed of, but I don’t have the one thing I want most." He lifts your hand to his lips, pressing a soft, lingering kiss to your knuckles. "You."
The word sinks deep, heavy with meaning.
You exhale shakily, watching him. Soobin—your Soobin—who once felt like a memory you had to let go of, is here, right in front of you, holding on like he’s terrified you’ll slip away again.
"Do you mean it?" You ask, voice barely above a whisper.
His brows furrow like the question physically pains him. "Of course I do. I’d never say it if I didn’t."
You hesitate, searching his face for any sign of doubt, any hesitation. But there’s none. Just unwavering determination, just love—raw and unshaken.
Soobin lifts his free hand, cupping your cheek, his thumb brushing softly against your skin. "Give me the chance to make it up to you. Let me prove to you that I can be the man you deserve."
You don’t realize you’re leaning into his touch until your eyes flutter shut.
And then, all of a sudden, Soobin is kissing you.
It’s not rushed, not desperate—just sweet, meaningful. The kind of kiss that says more than words ever could. His lips press against yours with a quiet reverence, like he’s savoring the moment, memorizing the feel of you. Like he’s afraid of letting go.
When he pulls back, he doesn’t go far. His forehead rests against yours, his breath warm against your skin.
"Could you be my girlfriend?" His voice is barely above a whisper, hesitant, hopeful.
Your eyes flutter open, meeting his gaze—soft yet so intense, like he’s holding onto every second.
"I can make my company release a statement," he murmurs, pressing a lingering peck on the tip of your nose. "They can say that I’m very much taken. That I belong to you."
Your breath catches, but Soobin isn’t finished.
"I have an event coming up—a fancy, over-the-top party, filled with industry elites, idols, actors, CEOs. Everyone who’s someone will be there." He swallows, brushing his fingers down your arm. "I can introduce you to the world."
Your heart pounds.
"You don’t have to," he adds quickly, searching your face for any sign of hesitation. "I know this isn’t easy, and if you don’t want that kind of attention, I’ll keep us private. But I don’t want to hide you. Not anymore. I want everyone to know that you’re mine, and that I—" He exhales shakily, eyes glistening with something raw. "That I’m yours."
Your lips part, but words don’t come.
Soobin doesn’t rush you. He just waits, watching you like your answer is the most important thing in the world. And to him, it probably is.
You take a breath, steadying yourself as Soobin watches you with hopeful, expectant eyes. The weight of his words lingers between you, thick with meaning, with promise.
"Yes," you finally say, your voice soft but sure. "I want to be your girlfriend."
Soobin's entire face lights up, his grip on your hand tightening just slightly, like he's grounding himself in the moment—like he can’t believe this is real.
You exhale a small laugh, shaking your head. "I don’t love the attention, and I know the media follows you everywhere... but if you want to release the statement, you can. I just—" You hesitate, chewing on your lip. "I don’t know about the party though."
His eyes search yours, carefully gauging your comfort. "We don’t have to go," he assures you, his thumb tracing slow, soothing circles against your palm. "I don’t want you to feel pressured, babe. If you’re not ready, we’ll do things your way. The world can wait."
You smile, warmth blooming in your chest. "You’d really be okay with that?"
Soobin chuckles, tilting his head. "I waited this long to have you again. What’s a little more waiting?"
His words make your heart clench, and before you can stop yourself, you’re leaning in, pressing your lips to his in a kiss that’s soft, full of quiet gratitude.
Soobin sighs into it, his hands finding your waist, pulling you impossibly closer. "God, I love you," he breathes against your lips. "I’ll do this right this time."
And you believe him.

When Yeonjun finds out, it’s messy.
There’s yelling. A lot of it.
"How the hell did this happen, and I didn’t notice?!" Yeonjun practically explodes, his voice bouncing off the walls. His expression is a mix of pure disbelief and mild betrayal, his hands flying through his hair like he’s on the verge of losing his mind.
Then, in the middle of his outburst, realization hits. His mouth clamps shut, and his face shifts from outrage to something quieter—understanding.
Of course, he didn’t notice.
He wasn’t here.
He was studying in the U.S. when everything went down. He missed it. All of it.
His gaze flickers between you and Soobin, and for a long, drawn-out moment, it’s impossible to tell what he’s thinking. Then, without warning, his eyes lock onto Soobin’s with a silent threat—If she ends up hurt, I’ll make sure you regret it.
Soobin swallows thickly.
But then—almost unexpectedly—Yeonjun smiles.
It’s not exactly a warm, welcoming grin, but it’s something. A reluctant acceptance, maybe. A begrudging fine, but if you screw this up, I will personally end your life.
Soobin lets out the breath he didn’t realize he was holding, tension leaving his shoulders.
And then it clicks.
A memory. A conversation. Something that doesn’t make sense.
His brows furrow, and he turns to you, completely thrown. "Babe... that day at the wedding… did you say something to Yeonjun about us earlier?"
You blink at him, confused. "Huh?"
"Taehyun told me he overheard you talking to Yeonjun about us.*"
Your face scrunches in confusion. "That never happened."
Soobin freezes. "What?"
"I never talked to Yeonjun about us before everything happened. Not at the wedding. Not before it. Never."
The realization crashes down like a ton of bricks.
"He probably lied to you," you murmur.
Soobin’s eye twitches.
Oh.
Oh, he’s gonna kill Taehyun.
And then, after that, he’s going to buy him one of those weird torture-looking gym machines he’s always obsessing over. That’ll shut him up.
Thank fucking god for Taehyun.

"Are you sure this is what you want?"
The day was young. Dawn had barely begun. When you took a sip from the glass of water on your nightstand earlier, the clock had blinked 5:14 back at you. You wondered now how much time had passed.
A stream of gray light filtered in between the window's shades allowing you to see your husband's face. Scruff littered his cheeks, left unshaven from three days before and strands of hair hung loosely behind his ears in desperate need of a wash.
I'll scrub it clean later, you thought.
Your fingers could feel the phantom touch of the shampoo against his scalp as your fingertips massaged it into his skin. You'd even hold the showerhead for him, letting the warm water wash away shampoo along with the worries from earlier in the day.
But that was later.
Now, a tension thick enough to cut with enough a knife consumed the air.
"I think so." Bucky said.
Bucky's voice was coarse from the lack of use in the night. He cleared his throat as you heard the distinctive beep! beep! of your neighbor unlocking his car, signalling a start to the day.
"You think?" You couldn't help the bitter edge to your voice. As you tossed and turned the night before, playing different ways to approach the situation, you had tried- sincerely you did- to find a kind and gentle way to voice your opinions. But it seems that had faded away along with your consciousness as you went to sleep. "Buck, this isn't something you think you want to do. This could... I mean it could-"
You couldn't tell if his tone was due to exhaustion or frustration.
"Go ahead," Bucky said. "Say it."
"This could ruin our lives." You spat. "We're finally on track to having normal lives and now you want to run for Congress?"
"I think you know it's too late for us to have normal lives, Y/n."
It was the simplicity with which he said it. As if it was an obvious fact that only you were not aware of. In a way, you suppose you were.
Outside the window you heard your neighbor kick at his car door as the engine fussed. Battery's dead. You could hear him shout at his kids through the hurricane door, telling them that they'd have to take the bus to school.
You wanted nothing more than for Bucky and you to live normal lives. But the fact of the matter was that every day you were proved about the impossibility of it.
A week ago Bucky had come home to an empty house.
It's not as though he had never come home to an empty house before, because he had. Really, Bucky wasn't sure what it was. But before the logical part of his brain could remind him that you could be anywhere, doing anything, his pulse had began to quicken. Bucky could feel his heart thumping against its cage as blood rushed to his head, flooding his ears.
His lungs burned as he inhaled faster than he could exhale. His flesh hand shook.
Stumbling through the house he swung open a door to every room and closet, even shoving hangers aside in hopes of finding your waiting face between articles of clothing. With what little breath he had, Bucky called a wispy shout of your name.
He tossed sheets from their beds, ingredients from their cupboards all in search of you.
When you had finally come home fifteen minutes late, keys jingling in the lock, you found Bucky, head in his hands, sitting on the floor dialing Sam.
Later he would tell you that he didn't know what had gotten into him.
But you knew. This time it was nothing more than a missed bus, but before, it had been the real deal.
You had disappeared in the hands of some mastermind before he could even fight for you. And he wasn't alone.
Two nights ago Bucky woke to the sounds of you screaming.
His heart pounded in his chest, terrified that something had happened to you until he felt your wriggling form at his side. Your legs had tangled themselves in the sheets and a sheen of sweat coated your forehead as you heaved. The colourful glow of your magic emanated from your palms.
Not again.
In a moment he was up, grabbing your arms.
"Doll?" Bucky asked to no avail. "Doll, It's a dream-"
Before he could register what was happening, your head had whipped towards him, light glowing from your eyes.
"Stop it!"
And with that, a kinetic blast shot from your palms, building a shield between the two of you.
It took a moment, and several hits against the barrier with Bucky's vibranium fist, for recognition to blink its way back into your eyes.
When it did, your eyes burned with tears. Bucky welcomed you into his lap with open arms and held you as if the world depended on it. He supposed it did.
"I didn't know."
So maybe your husband was right.
Maybe you were past normal. But that didn't mean it was a good idea.
"We could move," you suggested. "Get out of the city... out of the country even. We could put this behind us like a bad dream. We could be safe there-"
You shifted in the sheets to face him, flinging your hands in reference to some distant future. Bucky could feel the breeze from your gestures brush against his skin and found himself wishing he had wings.
"It's never going to stop." Buck sighed, not out of frustration over you, but rather the fact he knew he was right as much as he wanted you to be. "They'll find us. They always do."
"So... what?" You asked. "So you put yourself out there and let them pick apart your life? Your every move? Because it'll start the second you announce you're running for election. They don't understand what our lives are like, Buck. They'll blame you for everything the Winter Soldier did. They'll scrutinize every little thing you do-"
Although your words had venom to them, it wasn't meant to sting Bucky into anything more than self awareness.
In truth, you weren't upset that he wanted to do something like this. Surprised? Yes. But upset? Angry at Bucky? Never.
What you were frustrated with was that you couldn't understand.
The same system that had turned itself against Bucky Barnes was now gaining him as a willing volunteer.
You'd seen firsthand how the admiration of someone when looking at you would quickly shift to fear at the sight of him. You'd stood alongside him as he fought to gain back the trust that he- James Barnes- had never been the one to lose. Again and again he was treated as a monster, a sinner, when all he had ever done was go fight in a war when he was asked 80 years ago and had paid the price for it ever since.
At times you didn't believe you deserved him- the kind, gentle love of your husband- why did they?
Lost in your own tirade, you hadn't noticed your husbands hands inching towards yours until the warm touch of his calloused fingertips begged for entrance into your closed fist.
"They already do pick me apart." His voice was rough, ragged. "I know you don't think I should do it, but I... I've spent so much of my life with no control over how it goes. I want to be able to do something, you know? Maybe I can make it better for other people, and us and... and if we have kids someday that end up with abilities like yours, they won't need to be scared like we were."
You could feel the steady beat of your heart thumping inside your chest. Your bottom lip quivered. Loosening your grip, you felt Bucky brush circles inside your palms.
His chest- shirtless from a restless night sleep- rose with a deep inhale.
"I won't do this without you."
It felt silly, almost, to think it but you were afraid of letting your husband out into the world. As if he wasn't several decades your senior, as if his face wasn't plastered in museums. But then again, the person the public knew was a hero or villain- not a man.
You knew the man- the one who lost sleep over memories that weren't his. The one who flipped a coin to decide whose turn it was to do the dishes. The one who slow danced with you to a scratchy vinyl on winter nights. Bucky Barnes was human and you were afraid they wouldn't see him for the man he was. Or refuse to and further hurt the man you loved.
You glanced down at your intertwined fingers. The light that was slowly pouring in had grown warmer and doused both your hands in its glow.
This was it, though, wasn't it? You've had the universe against you more times than you could count, what's a campaign trail?
You were together 'til the end of the line.
"I'll..." you started, squeezing Bucky's fingers. "If this is something you really want to do... I'll support you."
Bucky kept his mouth closed, waiting to hear it..
"But," you argued. "I won't stop getting my hands dirty. I'm an Avenger first and the Congressman's wife second."
And for the first time that morning, the tension shattered. You hadn't realized how thick it had been until your chest lifted.
Bucky was hunched over then, tendrils hanging in his face as he continued to massage your palm. It was then you noticed that in the years since his freedom, his posture had worsened. Buck'll complain about his back later, you thought.
The simplicity grounded you.
"'Congressman's wife," Bucky snorted, shaking his head. "God that sounds crazy."
You leaned forward and brushed a stray hair from his temple to get a better look into his eyes. Your fingers lingered against his skin.
You smiled.
"If there's one thing I know for sure though," you said. "Fuck, will you be able to pull off those suits."
A rumble of laughter escaped his throat and joined your own in a light symphony that drowned out the worries of before.
Your husband pulled your hand towards him, reeling you into his grasp. And before you could think, your lips were on Bucky's turning your giggles into delight-filled hmms.
He told you he loved you, not in words but in the feeling of his fingers gripping your top and his lips lingering on yours between breaths. You told him you loved him back.
Later, after you had washed Bucky's hair, massaging his scalp just as you had promised yourself earlier, you sat, hand in his, as he confirmed his intentions to run.
The rest of the day became a blur of phone calls and questions from wannabe campaign managers, journalists, politicians- really you couldn't remember- but what you would never forget was the way his eyes fell on you amidst the chaos of the afternoon, grounding him on his own world the two of you shared.
That morning Bucky had told you that he wouldn't run without you, but what he really meant was that he couldn't.
They said all the things you had warned him about. They scrutinized him to a degree that even his former captors would be impressed by and minimized his accomplishments so much so he wondered if they'd wipe his name from being next to Steve's in the museum.
Though, it ran off him like water with you by his side.
As evening turned to night and his phone finally stopped ringing, Bucky climbed under the sheets beside you.
And as your fingers traced the scars on his chest, humming his ringtone as you dozed off, he had a profound realization: how could the words of a stranger carry any weight when he received the love of a woman like you?

physical affection
park gyeong-seok / player 246 x f!reader
all you needed was yourself, and the man who saved your life
warnings: no smut but there is a lot of physical touch and making out. consensual age gap, since reader is intended to be 21 while gyeong seok is 40 years old.
you never asked for this life.
you're only 21, you should be finishing school, figuring out your future, maybe even enjoying your youth.
instead, you're trapped under two hundred thousand dollars (USD) of debt left behind by parents who never thought about what they were leaving you with before they passed.
you had no way out.
no safety net, no backup plan.
the loan sharks didn’t care that you were young.
they didn’t care that it wasn’t your fault.
they wanted their money, and they made sure you knew that.
every single day.
when the squid game invitation found its way to you, it felt like the only option.
the debt wasn’t going anywhere, and no matter how many jobs you worked, no matter how much you sacrificed, you’d never make enough in this lifetime to pay it back.
so you went. knowing full well that this was a death trap or something mentally pricey, but also knowing you had no choice.
inside the game, you struggled to make allies.
you weren’t completely alone...you had hyun-ju, young-mi, and the mother and son duo.
they were good people.
however, you weren’t part of a real alliance.
you still felt out of place, like a stray in a pack.
since the first game, there was one person you always noticed.
player 246.
he was older, maybe ten or fifteen years older than you.
you had no clue.
he carried himself differently from the others.
calm, focused, not trying to stand out like thanos.
he always looked at you.
not in a predatory way like some of the other men, but like he saw you.
he was just as aware of you as you were of him.
still, you never had the courage to approach him.
you didn’t know if he was dangerous, if he already had an alliance, if he even cared that you were here.
then the mingle game started.
you never realized how much you relied on young-mi’s presence until she was gone.
you had distanced yourself from your allies after that unfortunate round.
now it was too late to go back.
the sound played.
the platform spun.
another round, the last round, was about to start, and you knew you had to move fast.
the second the platform stopped, you ran.
you sprinted toward the closest door, desperate to find safety before the round ended.
however, two men shoved you aside, sending you sliding across the floor as they slammed the purple door shut behind them.
panic filled your chest.
you scrambled to get up, but the seconds were slipping away.
if you didn’t get into a room now, you were dead.
before you could react, strong arms grabbed you.
you barely had time to process what was happening before you were pulled through another door.
the lock clicked.
the game was over.
you were safe.
you looked up, heart racing, and saw him. player 246.
relief crashed over you, and before you could stop yourself, you threw your arms around him.
“thank you,”
"thank you,"
"thank you,"
you choked out, barely able to hold back your tears.
surprisingly, he didn’t push you away.
instead, he held you, steady and firm, like he understood just how close you had been to dying.
he needed this hug more than you realized.
when you pulled back, your hands lingered on his shoulders, and his stayed on your waist.
it was the closest you had ever been to anybody.
suddenly, you couldn’t ignore the tension anymore.
"its no problem. I needed someone too."
he says.
“how can i repay you?”
you whispered, looking up at him.
you would do anything for him since he saved your life.
he shook his head.
“you don’t have to.”
you wanted to.
the way he looked at you, the way he had saved you without hesitation,
it meant something.
without hesitation, it meant something.
your eyes flickered to his lips. you didn’t think, didn’t overanalyze it.
you just leaned in and kissed him in the locked room.
he kissed you back, slow and deep, like he had been waiting for this just as much as you had.
the man's lips were soft, chapped, but soft.
you closed your eyes, letting yourself feel a temporary moment of peace.
when you finally pulled away, you asked him why he was here.
why he needed the money.
“for my daughter,”
he said simply.
your heart clenched. you weren’t expecting that.
“you have a daughter?”
he nodded.
“yes. she's sick. her mother died. if i don’t make it out, she has no one.”
you felt your stomach twist.
so he wasn’t just fighting for himself, no stupid debt.
he was fighting for his kid.
“this is the most selfless thing you could do for her,”
you murmured.
“i hope you make it out.”
he gave a small nod.
“i have to.”
gyeong-seok's voice was quiet but firm, and you could see the stress weighing on him.
the exhaustion, the desperation to survive.
without thinking, you reached out and took his hands in yours.
they were rough, but warm.
“do you want me to stick with you?”
you asked.
he looked at you, really looked at you, before nodding.
“yes.”
you squeezed his hands.
“then we’ll get through this together.”
from that moment on, you weren’t alone anymore.
neither was he.
after settling back into the sleeping area, you and gyeong-seok stayed close under a shared blanket in the top corner of the room.
your backs were against the cold wall, knees bent, legs touching.
the air around you was tense.
its lights out.
your breathing was steady, but your mind wasn’t.
your body wasn’t.
neither was his.
you could feel the heat radiating off of him, his arm brushing against yours every now and then, whether intentional or not.
neither of you spoke.
not for a while. it wasn’t necessary.
the game had forced silence upon you both after you guys walked out of the room.
its a forced understanding that didn’t need words.
however, the way he looked at you in the dim lighting, the way his fingers barely brushed over your hand resting on your knee..
it sent a slow, burning heat through your veins.
you turned your head slightly, your eyes meeting his.
he didn’t move right away, just stared, searching your expression.
your lips parted slightly, and that was all it took.
he shifted closer, just enough to ghost his lips over yours, waiting, letting you be the one to close the distance.
you did.
your lips pressed against his, hesitant at first, testing, but once he kissed you back, there was no holding back.
gyeong-seok's hand found its way to your jaw, fingers curling gently, keeping you in place as he deepened the kiss.
the man's lips were warm, slow but firm, like he wanted to take his time despite the circumstances around you both.
your body melted into his touch, your fingers gripping the fabric of his jacket as you tilted your head to let him kiss you deeper.
gyeong-seok's other hand slid down to your waist, his palm pressing lightly against your side.
it was nothing more than a touch, but it sent a shiver through your spine.
the blanket shielded you both from prying eyes, but it didn’t matter.
the world outside of it didn’t exist.
you shifted slightly, pulling yourself closer, slotting your legs against his.
gyeong-seok's lips moved to the corner of your mouth, down to your jaw, trailing slowly before coming back up to kiss you again.
your breath hitched, and he swallowed it, his lips parting against yours.
you pulled him even closer, desperate, aching for something you couldn’t quite put into words.
246's hand pressed more firmly against your waist, his thumb stroking absentmindedly along your ribs, like he was memorizing the feel of you.
the room around you was restless...players whispering, people shifting in their sleep, others watching for danger
none of that mattered to you.
the man's lips were soft, but the way he kissed you was anything but.
it was slow, deep, controlled, like he wanted to make this moment last as long as possible.
your fingers tangled in his hair, nails scratching lightly against his scalp, earning a quiet exhale from him.
his breath was warm against your lips as he pulled back slightly, his forehead resting against yours.
neither of you spoke.
the man's hand slid from your waist to your back, holding you there like he wasn’t ready to let go just yet.
you stayed like that, your noses brushing, lips barely touching, your fingers tracing the lines of his jaw.
right now, it only is you and him.
three days later, somehow, against all odds, you and gyeong-seok made it out alive.
the games were over.
the nightmare was behind you.
you had both seen too much, lost too much, but you survived.
that had to mean something.
the prize money was split between the remaining five people who survived.
even after the split, it was more than enough.
you could finally pay off your debt.
you could breathe.
for the first time in your life, the weight that had been crushing you for years was finally gone.
gyeong-seok wasted no time.
the second you were out, he used his share to pay off every last hospital bill for his daughter.
he still had enough money left to give his daughter a comfortable life.
na-yeon had been his reason for fighting, his reason for enduring.
now, she would get the care she deserved.
before anything else, he took you to the hospital.
you had been through hell..your body bore the evidence of it, bruises and wounds that would take time to heal.
you insisted you were fine, that he should be with his daughter
instead, but he refused to leave you alone.
after you were cleared to leave, you guys stayed in the hospital.
you realized that you were walking to the pediatric unit with him..
“come with me,”
he said.
“i want you to meet her.”
you hesitated.
this was personal.
this was his daughter.
despite everything, you and gyeong-seok were still figuring out what you were to each other outside of the games.
“are you sure?”
you asked quietly.
“i don’t want to intrude.”
he took your hands in his, warm and steady.
“na-yeon is the sweetest girl in the world,”
he reassured you.
“she’ll love you.”
so you went.
when you stepped into na-yeon’s hospital room, you weren’t sure what to expect.
the second her small eyes landed on her father, her whole face lit up.
“daddy!”
the toddler's voice was soft but filled with excitement.
gyeong-seok immediately went to her side, cupping her tiny face in his hands, pressing the gentlest kiss to her forehead.
then, her gaze landed on you.
curious, but not afraid.
“who’s that?”
she asked.
gyeong-seok turned to you, his expression soft.
“this is y/n,”
he told her.
“she’s my friend.”
you guys were more than friends, partners actually, but that might be too much to explain to na-yeon right now.
you stepped closer, smiling carefully, not wanting to overwhelm her.
“hi, na-yeon. it’s really nice to meet you.”
she studied you for a moment before offering the smallest, sweetest smile.
then, without hesitation, she reached for your hand.
your heart clenched.
slowly, you took it, squeezing ever so lightly.
na-yeon's smile widened.
gyeong-seok watched the moment unfold, something stirring deep in his chest.
he had entered those death games with one goal: to make it out for na-yeon.
somewhere along the way, he found another reason to keep going.
another reason to fight in his everyday life.
you.
as he watched na-yeon hold onto you so easily, so trustingly, he realized it fully.
he had found the love of his life in the most unexpected place.
in those cruel, merciless games, you were the one who stood by him when no one else did.
you were the one who reached for his hand in the dark.
now, you were here.
with him. with his daughter.
you decided that you were gonna stay with him, and na-yeon too.
especially in a world that finally, finally, felt like it was giving you both a chance.

imagine the wukongs coming home and getting a surprise present from you just before ✨ spicey time ✨ and its a COLLAR~! but not just a play collar but one to wear every day~! what would their collars look like and how would they react to being given a collar by their lover?~ would they be shameless about it and proud? maybe shy and flustered? straight up refuse untill one day just putting it on and hoping no one noticed him wearing it, and im not talking something inconspicuous, this is a full on COLLAR not a choker, his name written on the tags, " if found return to reader " on one of them, along with his spicey time name on one of the tags or even written on the front of it with spikes? maybe him one day being bold enough to let you use the matching leash in public?~ my mind is a wonderland of spicy requests and ideas so know there will never be a shortage of them~!
Property of Queen (Y/n)💋
(Lmk Wukong) He's your little sunflower, and with that, his face would be bright red, but at the same time, he would drool and purr deeply. Wukong would often beg for you to let him hump you into salvation needing desperately to let him bust, that is until you jumped on his hard "Staff" and ride him into the sunrise. Between your collar and stamina and your sunflower screaming his head off with never ending pleasure. Wukong will never be the same ever again🤤🥵
(NR Wukong) Oh lord here we go😮💨 He would always be on his knees. Wukong has displayed many moments of shameless behavior, but this.....you would think he didn't have dignity. Fluffy is the name and he would let his mistress take him anywhere on that leash, with a raging boner at that. You would also exploit his weaknesses teasing him, whipping him, make him choke as you destroy his pelvis......he would so have the time of his life. You should probably take a break for his sake🫢.
(MKR Wukong) To the world he is the great sage equal to heaven, To you he is your adorable little sourpatch. Wukong would growl whenever he would wear his dark red collar, much like a mean pitbull that you love so much. The leash is what gets him, though, because that would mean he's completely under your control. His collor would have sourpatch written on it as you would bring him out for private walks. Don't get him wrong, this is sexy as all hell, but he has a reputation and image to uphold and wants to keep it intact. That would be reasonable if everyone wasn't aware already on who's doms him to kingdom come😍.
(HIB Wukong) Ok wow the look on his face was priceless, especially when he found his name Beefcake on it. Well he refused to wear it hating it going as far as to degrade and spit on it, however that's when the impulsive thoughts come to play. He imagines himself on his knees getting in your sweet spot, making him walk on his hands and knees, then of calling him a bad boy and the final devastation having him hump your thicc thighs and not letting him bust🥵🥵🥵 He rebounds to you wearing that collar right away, even going as far as to hold the leash in his mouth. He wants to go on walkies now🤤
(Netflix Wukong) Awwww Your sweet Spicy Cherry hopes you choke him as hard as you can with that collar. Choke him to the point where if your not careful he's gonna make quite the mess in his pants🤤. Of course he's gonna keep his bravado in public saying that collar is all part of his armor. That is until when he gets him the leash comes to play and he turns into a horny little boy, who needs his mommy to help him.
(BMW Wukong) His a huge smirk on his face, he always loved being claimed by you. This would be so hot to him especially when he sees you calling him studmuffin while having him on his leash. He would always bow down to you often kissing your legs and thighs as a king should pleasure and please his wife. The only orders he would follow is yours and that won't ever change, he would also act like a pitbull guard dog for you his sexy queen.
(Destined one)..................🥵🥵🥵 the Destined one's brain would crash upon the pleasure and the humiliation he never thought he would feel. Though the freak in him is having a field day with you bringing him to his knees, calling him your best boy following you around with a boner and a deep blush. Degrading him a bit by calling him a pervert wild having him hump your leg in frantic desire, Ohhhhhhhhh it's gonna be fun destroying him beyond repair.
(Lotmk Wukong) Purr of love and lusty content, especially with the pets and the chin scratches. His collar has baby boy wirr on it especially when he would doze off on your lap, and absentmindedly call you mommy with hearts in his eyes. You would have no problem giving him walks as he would go anywhere you'll lead him, only letting him off the leash to defend you and the pilgrims from danger. After that it's back to his leash just like mommy had taught him.

Tracing poetry with your lips - 7/? - Hangster
One juvenile kissing game and two juvenile idiots both convinced they can win the game. (Will be Explicit). Idea from @iprefervillains
ONE TWO THREE FOUR FIVE SIX
PART SEVEN
He presses a kiss to the curve of Bradley’s shoulder, pretty sure he’s not even aware of what Jake is doing right now; Jake feels smug even as his own legs feel shaky beneath him as he pulls off the condom, shifts and stretches to put it in the trash can located just beside Bradley’s bedside table. They’re both sticky with sweat and come, he doesn’t think Bradley has opened his eyes since he came.
“So… what now?” Bradley asks, and Jake can see an eye slitted open beneath his arm and he bites his lip and raises an eyebrow. Now is usually when Bradshaw is pulling his clothes back on, shoving his feet into his shoes without socks in his haste to leave… except this now is different. It’s a new now and Jake lets himself stretch and then press back against him, lets himself cling to Bradley’s body a little like he’s sort of always wanted to try in the past.
“Now… we talk.”
“About what?”
“Well… I already declared my intentions. I want to date you.”
“Yeah… that all?”
“Exclusively. I don’t share well…”
“Truly, I’m shocked to learn that…”
“You okay with that?”
“More than okay… I can share if I have to, but I can get a little possessive.”
He wants to ask who Bradley has shared in the past, but supposes that can be a conversation for later. It’s not need to know information.
“So, you want me to take you out for dinner or breakfast?”
Bradley’s smile is slow and a flicker of warmth hits him.
“Oh, I am not getting dressed for the next twenty-four hours. We can get food delivered and you can get dressed enough to answer the door.”
Jake’s about to argue, tell Bradley he’s a shit host before his brain catches up at the idea of Bradley being naked constantly. He can support that.
“Okay. Want to show me how your shower works?”
“It’s a shower…” Bradley starts, clearly ready to tell him to figure it out. Jake raises an eyebrow and waits for the other shoe to drop. Nice to know he’s not the only one feeling a little cum-dumb. “Oh. Yeah. Right. Definitely need to show you how that works…”
Jake doesn’t let go, his hands not leaving Bradley’s body as they get out of bed, and he lets himself just give in to being as handsy as he’s wanted to be, knows Bradley will say something if he doesn’t like it. Instead he’s pressing into it, his own hands hovering over Jake’s skin before Jake presses into them in return; sticky skin catching but neither of them caring. They kiss as the water warms up, and they’ve never made out like this, after they’ve had sex. It’s always been a means to an end.
Not right now though. Right now is just for the sheer pleasure of touching and being close, sharing the same space and enjoying the press of their bodies against each other. He’s never had this much time to simply explore Bradley’s body, to run fingers over scars with curious fingers, can feel Bradley’s fingers doing the same, lingering over his appendectomy scar, the stretch marks on his back from where he grew four inches over one summer.
Then they’re shuffling under the spray, and the shower is big, plenty big enough for the two of them. Could easily fit a third and he wonders about what Bradley said before about sharing. He wants to know everything, and he’s fairly confident he has time now, neither he nor Bradley are going anywhere.

Sarah, i loved the prompt you wrote for me! Thsnk you so much! And the one with Audrey cutting her Hand was lovely too!
So, may I ask for another one please if you have some time? Maybe number 34 to have some drama?
Thank you Cookie! Your wish is my command! Send me a prompt
34. Someone is yelling your name
The bomb had fallen on a farmhouse a mile or so outside Darrowby. The inhabitants, sheltering in their Anderson shelter a good distance from the house, were unharmed. Their house was utterly destroyed. Audrey, wearing her uniform, her helmet, and a fixed expression on her face, was surveying the damage. Dawn had broken, casting pale light over broken beams, the scattered detritus of years of living.
The farmer stood next to her. He heaved a sigh. “Well. Nowt to be done. Missus is sad to lose our things, but it could have been worse. I don’t like that shelter much. Wouldn’t have gone out to it if I’d been by meself.”
Neighbours began to approach. “Stay back,” Audrey warned them all. “It’s unsafe.”
One of the neighbours carted the farmer and his wife off for tea and breakfast. Audrey stayed at her post, keeping onlookers and nosey children out of harms way.
Mrs Hall had been quiet all day, Siegfried thought as he watched her slice bread for their tea, her mind clearly on other things.
“Was it bad?” he asked.
She jumped, as though she’d forgotten he was there. “Nobody dead or injured,” she said. “It was… hard to see.” She trailed off into somewhere else, staring unseeingly across the kitchen.
“Why don’t I do that?” Siegfried took the bread knife gently from her, guided her into a chair.
She remained not quite there throughout the evening, her knitting needles pausing for long periods of time. He watched her worriedly. They’d been through enough in the great war to have some idea of when somebody needed help.
“Would you like to talk about it?” he offered.
“Not really.” She managed a small smile. “But thank you.”
A sound woke him in the night. He blinked into awareness. Not the frantic trilling of the phone, but a voice.
“Siegfried!” Her voice was loud, carrying through the dark house. “Siegfried!”
She sounded terrified. He jumped out of bed, didn’t stop to put on slippers or dressing gown, hastened down the corridor to her room.
“Siegfried!” she cried again and he burst frantically into her room.
She was in bed, her eyes tight shut, sweat beading on her forehead. “Siegfried!”
The fear in her voice sent shivers through him. He dropped to his knees beside her. “Mrs Hall, Audrey!” He put his hand to her shoulder, shook her gently.
She sat up with a gasp. Saw him beside her and clutched at him. “You’re alive, you’re alive.” She held him tightly, one hand on his shoulder, the other cupping his face. “Oh, Siegfried!”
“Hush now, hush.” He put one hand over her shaking one. “It was just a nightmare. That’s all.” He imbued his voice with all the soothing tones that he could.
“I thought – you were dead.” Her voice crackled. “A bomb hit the house. You were buried under so much rubble. I couldn’t reach you… Oh, God…” Her shoulders shook and tears spilled down her cheeks.
He pulled her close to him and she twisted her fingers into his nightshirt. “I’m alive, I’m here,” he murmured as he ran his hand up and down her back. “I’m safe, I’m not going anywhere.”
“It was so real,” she whispered. “I thought I’d lost you.” She lifted her head then, a fierce look in her eye. “Promise me,” she said, holding his shirt tightly, “promise me you will always go to a shelter. No matter what.”
He was held captive by her eyes. “I promise,” he said. “I swear, Audrey. I will always go to a shelter.”
She sagged a little, then. “Thank you,” she whispered, and wiped her eyes. “I’m sorry for waking you.”
“Don’t be.” She felt so slight and fragile in his arms, and something of the fear in her dream had infected him too. “Sleep with me tonight,” he blurted out. “Please. I don’t want to leave you on your own.”
She looked up at him, eyes clear and true. “Thank you.”
They went to his room hand-in-hand. He pulled back the bedcovers for her and helped her in. She slipped in as though she belonged there, dark hair spilling over white pillows.
He climbed in beside her, felt the tremors that still ran through her. “Let me hold you?” he murmured.
She mumbled something that sounded like acquiescence and wriggled closer to him. He slung his arm around her middle, pulled her in tightly so that he could cocoon her in himself.
“I’ve got you. We’re safe,” he whispered into her hair. “Sleep well, Audrey.”
She yawned. “Thank you, Siegfried.” She pulled his arm tighter around herself. “Thank you.”

percy had an 'im a big three son' moment when he choked a goddess with her own saliva (controlling a fluid that was INSIDE her body) annabeth was terrified.
nico had an 'im a big three son' moment when he disembodied bryce lawrence (quite literally dissipating and shrinking his LIVING soul into a spirit) and threw him to the underworld, smashing his zombie warriors. reyna was terrified.
yet we were robbed of jason's 'im a big three son' moment where he sucks the air out of someone's lungs and makes them stop breathing, or damaging a person's nervous system with his lightning control, and literally cause internal bleeding, or a damaged/fried skull if he electrocuted hard enough (look up the effects of lightning damage on body y'all will get a whole list, tbh he doesn't even need lightning to do any of this, air control is more than enough since air takes charge of everything going inside the body, but this is just an added effect.) he could give people STROKES if he wanted to. he's the literal definition of burnt out kid who was suppressed from discovering the magnitude of his abilities, because one, his dad's ego wouldn't be able to handle it, two, because he, for some reason, can't be allowed to do anything other than get knocked out :/
also adding on, hardcore pjo fans know that after the ending page of boo, there's this fan story that rick chose to publish in the last few pages of the book where a fan reimagines the ending of hoo, in that work, annabeth collapses from an attack and percy sobs clutching her body. jason calmly asks him to step aside, and kneels before annabeth, jason regulates her breathing using his wind/lightning powers and brings annabeth back fully from her cardiac arrest, causing percy to be relieved. (I wanted to link the pics of the pages here so bad but I didn't have the hard copy of the book with me, and this isn't available anywhere online either, only in the original covers of boo uk and us version, so I edited this post and asked people to reblog this post w the pics if they have the hardcopy, and a kind blogger found the story I'm talking about and reblogged the pictures of the pages, you can check my reblogs of this post for the pictures of the almost all the pages after this scene) considering rick approved and even liked the fan's work well enough to publish it in the official boo book, I'd say rick was aware and never completely ruled out expanding jason's abilities and had them in mind, he simply didn't incorporate it into the books. (also W fan for giving jason the rep he deserves, I will always remember you, you saw the VISION before any of us did, the story was very well written, with great dialogue.)
#rick was well aware that jason's powers would go HARD bc wind/air is super versatile he simply refused to make jason powerful for plot lol#jason grace would've been the combination of aang and azula in atla just saying :)#does rick expect me to believe that jason's powers only consist of 'asking his daddy for one lightning a day 🥺👉👈' pls stop the cap#oh jason how much more appreciated you would've been on atla than pjo#we all know jason was suppressed bc there's this unspoken rule that he can't overpower percy in the series.#rip jason grace in another universe you would've been an unstoppable force of nature#pjo#pjo fandom#percy jackson#pjo series#pjo hoo#jason grace#pjo hoo toa#nico di angelo#hoo#hoo fandom#heros of olympus#heroes of olympus#jason grace defender

Roommates. That’s all you, Theodore, Mattheo and Lorenzo were. Not friends, fuck no. Just… roommates. Nothing more, nothing less. Roommates you could kill with your bare hands at times, that is— especially when you were lying in bed late at night, headphones turned up to max volume, while all three boys were busy slamming their cock into whatever random girl was foolish enough to go home with them that day. Or when you came back to the cramped apartment, swung open the freezer, and discovered that they’ve eaten all the ice cream you’d been looking forward to eating all day.
Oh, how you desperately wished you were living somewhere else in those moments— anywhere, really. But unfortunately, you didn’t have a choice. You urgently needed a place after breaking up with your cheating ex-boyfriend, and this was the best you could find at that time.
But it was fine. Not great, but fine. You lived your own life, and so did they. You didn’t talk to them much—only when necessary—and avoided them as much as you could. It might sound unfriendly and hostile, you were fully aware of that, but they were too busy bragging to each other about the girls they hooked up with anyway, and you had no desire to be part of that conversation. And it was whatever. You were content like this, minding your own business. And you were planning to continue living exactly like this until you found a better place to live… But was that still what you really wanted?
After a few chaotic months of living together, everything began to change dramatically. As much as you despised these same boys not too long ago—well, you still very much do—the dynamics between the three of you had completely shifted. You weren’t just roommates anymore, no, you were… a little more than that.
What exactly, you might ask? Well, Lorenzo liked to call it RWB (roommates with benefits), which resulted in a slap to the head each time he brought it up. You flat-out refused to ever call it that. And besides, whatever the hell it was, you didn’t even want to label it.
Anyway, to cut straight to the point without beating around the bush any longer— you were having sex with your roommates. Yes, each one of them. All fucking three. The three boys that you used to fight with over the most minuscule things you could possibly think of, are now the same boys pinning you down onto your mattress until you’re drooling all over the sheets ‘cause of how good they were fucking you. It all strangely unfolded so naturally and so gradually, as if the lines between friendship and desire were slowly fading away without anyone noticing. Still, it felt wrong, it felt dirty, but god, it felt so fucking good too.
To go back to the beginning and provide some much-needed context, it all started with them sharing you, actually. But not at the same time— no, that felt far too weird and awkward. Instead, they took turns sleeping with you separately, with each one of them fucking you whenever the mood struck, which happened a lot. Just casually brushing past them in the kitchen and feeling your ass press against their crotch was enough to drag you into their rooms. And it was fucking amazing— each one of them had their own unique qualities, fucking you in ways the others couldn’t.
Theo, for instance, was great at dirty talk and foreplay. He’d shamelessly whisper filthy words to you in Italian with that low, seductive voice of his as his fingers were buried deep inside of you, curling up so perfectly— he never failed to get you dripping wet in an instant.
Mattheo was a fucking god at eating you out— he could make you cum within seconds, the way his tongue skilfully sucked on your clit had you gripping his brown locks tightly.
And Lorenzo? He could put you into positions you never knew were possible, hitting spots so incredibly deep inside of you that your legs trembled uncontrollably each time you found yourself in his bed.
But still, it had its downsides. Fucking each one of them individually meant a lot of sex and left you sore and limping around, which eventually began to exhaust you, pushing you past your limits physically. It was simply too much for you to handle. All three of their sex drives were sky-high, and you, being just one girl in a house with three boys, just couldn’t fulfil their needs all the time.
So that’s when threesomes began to happen. And ohhh, a new world opened up to you. It was exhilarating, it was experimental, it was even better than the sex before, and with all the attention on you, you couldn’t get enough. So far, you’ve explored every possible threesome combination, and their skills combined were absolutely mind-blowing. You were hornier than ever—more needy, more aroused—and so were they.
But was that really the limit? threesomes? well, you thought it was— until tonight happened. It was just another drunken night with the boys, gathered in the cosy living room, playing whatever random board games you had dug out from the back of your closet, stacked away and long forgotten since you moved in.
The evening began so innocently, filled with laughter and lighthearted chatter as you drank some leftover alcohol from a party the week prior— until you unconsciously started inching closer to them, the chilly night breeze sneaking through the windows causing you to seek more warmth. It wasn’t anything out of the ordinary, though. You always became touchy and clingy whenever you were drunk— everyone knew that.
But with them being intoxicated as well, they found it increasingly difficult to control themselves around you, eyeing you with hungry, lustful gazes, especially as your lace bra temptingly peeked out from under your tight-fitting top and your short skirt inched higher with every movement you made.
Usually, after one of these nights, you’d end up going to bed with one of them—maybe two if the night called for it—but there was always one of them who was too tired or had some other girl come over anyway. Tonight was undeniably different, though, and you could feel it— they all wanted you.
Lorenzo and Mattheo sat on either side of you, with Lorenzo’s wandering hand slowly trailing over your bare, goosebumps-covered thigh, sending shivers cursing through your body, while Mattheo’s hand rested around your waist under your shirt, rubbing gentle circles on your soft skin with his thumb. Their warm hands felt nice on your cold body, but you couldn’t deny the ache building between your legs at both their irresistible touches.
The scent of their musky, aromatic colognes mingled with the smell of all kinds of alcohol, filling your nostrils, as their warm bodies pressed closely against yours, causing a small, amused smile to form on your lips at the sudden realisation that there was more than enough room on the couch for both of them. But no, they wanted to sit as close as possible to you, eagerly craving the feeling of your skin against theirs, even though a barrier of fabric still separated you from them. You didn’t have to read their minds to know how badly they wanted to rip it off your body.
Meanwhile, Theo sat across from you, watching the scene before him unfold with a cocky, lopsided smirk and dark eyes, fully aware that both drunken enzo and mattheo lacked any ounce of self-control strong enough to resist you, so he lazily let them do all the work of getting you aroused and horny before joining. Occasionally, he took a slow sip from his drink, but his intense gaze never left yours, absorbing the way you reacted to their touches and he knew— under your tiny skirt, your panties were soaked already.
And god, he was right. Just the slightest, teasing touch had you dripping wet already, as their firm hands continued to roam over your body, growing more hungrily and desperately with each passing second, both of them breathing heavily on either side of you.
For a fleeting moment, you lock eyes with Theo through your drowsy gaze, his own intense eyes fixated on you as your roommates explored your body, only making you more desperate and turned on.
“Sei così calda.” Theo murmured in a low, husky voice, his eyes glued to your body, eliciting an irritated groan from Mattheo as he rolled his eyes in annoyance.
“Oh, shut up mate, no one can understand you.” he retorted, frustration lacing his tone. Theo simply chuckled in response, completely unfazed by him, fully aware of the underlying reasons for his annoyance. Mattheo hated it whenever Theo spoke Italian because he knew it gave him an undeniable advantage with girls, who swooned all over Theo the moment seductive Italian words flowed from his lips.
“Be nice, Matt” you warned, trying to appear stern but the alcohol cursing through your system made you uncontrollably let out a small giggle, causing Mattheo’s expression to soften too.
“I am nice. Is having my hands all over your body not me being nice, princess?” he teased with a cheeky smirk, his hand trailing down your bare back under your shirt toward your ass as his eyes hungrily gazed right at you through half-lidded eyes, a combination of lust and intoxication evident in their depths, his warm body merely inches away from yours. Your hazy, drunken state, their warm hands gliding all over your chilled skin, theo’s piercing eyes staring right at you— your head felt like it was spinning.
Suddenly, as if reading each other’s minds, both boys gently yet eagerly brushed your hair from your neck to expose it, then attached their soft lips to the sensitive skin at the same time, sloppily sucking dark hickeys into your neck from both angles. You couldn’t help but let out a breathy moan, helplessly pressing your thighs together to create some friction as Mattheo and Lorenzo breathed heavily right into your ear, sending electric shivers down your spine.
They were both becoming more and more desperate, frantically sucking on your skin, the alcohol coursing through their bodies and intense desire to have you blurring their minds and causing them to lose all inhibitions. Mattheo groaned in pleasure, taking a not-so-subtle sniff as licked your neck like a popsicle, leaving a slick trail of saliva in his wake. He felt lightheaded, completely entranced by your sweet scent and the softness of your skin, his hand greedily squeezing your waist.
“Mmm, I can, like, taste your perfume… so sweet and… a bit… alcoholic, like a— like a pornstar martini.”
“What the—” Lorenzo instantly pulled away from your neck, glaring at Mattheo with a disgusted look on his face, his top lip curling in distaste and his brows furrowed in disbelief.
“Mattheo, shut the fuck up, will you?”
“What did I do now?!”
“You’re ruining the mood, saying weird shit like that.”
“Oh, fuck off—”
Before they could bicker any further, you abruptly grasped both their jaws at the same time and gently guided their heads towards yours into a sudden kiss, your soft lips pressing against theirs as their eyes reluctantly fluttered shut.
You could tell they were hesitant at first, both of them unwilling to touch each other in any way, but the drinks they had earlier were working its magic as you quickly felt their tongues eagerly moving against yours, their hesitation disappearing in a split second.
Soon, all three of you were completely entangled in the kiss, with one of their hands on the back of your head, drawing you in, while another firmly squeezed your bare thigh, as though trying to steady himself. The world around you seemed to fade for a moment as you pulled them closer and closer, spit mixing between you three, and the usually noisy living room was unusually quiet for once, except for the sounds of heavy breathing, soft moans, and wet lips smacking together.
The tension was only rising more, all of you growing more eager with each passing second, your tongues moving in perfect harmony with each other, as though you’d done this a thousand times before. And you were yearning for even more, all of you were, your body trembling with need as your arousal slicked your thighs, dripping onto the couch beneath you. The initial hesitation to touch each other had long faded by now, desire consuming you all, thickening the air with an overwhelming mix of lust and anticipation, until—
“Alright. that’s enough.” Theo broke the silence as he suddenly stood in front of the couch, casting a dark shadow over the three of you. He assertively took your wrist and forcefully pulled you up from your seat, while both boys stared up through drowsy eyes, their swollen, spit-covered lips glistening, and your lipstick messily smudged across their flushed faces, wearing dazed and slightly bewildered expressions that hinted at their drunken state.
In one swift, fluid movement, Theo effortlessly threw you over his shoulder, eliciting a surprised squeal from you followed by a drunken giggle, as he playfully slapped your ass with an amused, mischievous smirk dancing on his lips.
The moment Theo walked into your room, he roughly threw you onto your bed, your body bouncing slightly with the impact as you gazed up at him. In contrast to the chilly living room, the temperature here was more pleasant, with the lingering scent of flowery candles you lit earlier still filling the room.
Theo approached you with a dominant air, each long step creaking on the wooden floor, sending your heartbeat racing. When he finally stood before you, he traced his thumb gently over your burning cheek, before slipping it into your mouth, making you suck on it and he groaned at the sight, his eyes darkening. “So fuckin’ pretty.”
Heat flooded your core at the sudden praise, your lace panties now uncomfortably soaked with arousal. Drool trickled from the corners of your swollen lips, his thumb still deep in your mouth as you gazed up at him with half-open, dazed eyes. His tall, imposing figure loomed over you, casting a shadow as he tilted his head in approval, drinking in the sight of you beneath him.
He slowly pulled his thumb out of your mouth, a thin trail of spit still connecting your lips to his finger before he made his way to your bed, lowering himself onto it and motioning with his hand for you to come closer. His demeanour was power-driven, cocky, and lustful, as he leaned back against the headboard, his legs spread wide, his eyes devouring you. You crawled toward him on all fours, giving him a perfect view of your cleavage, your tits nearly spilling out of your shirt as you moved.
“You look so sexy right now, I might just keep you all to myself tonight.” he growled, his voice low and commanding. He didn’t waste much time before gripping the back of your head and eagerly pulling you into a fierce, hungry kiss, his tongue dominantly entering your mouth, not wanting to waste any of the little time he had alone with you.
In the background, you could faintly hear Mattheo and Lorenzo still in the living room, their voices muffled through the thin walls as they bickered once again, but you could make out a sharp “don’t you fucking dare tell anyone about this!” and frustrated “you really can’t kiss, you know that? we’re never doing this shit again!”, followed by an exaggerated sound of gagging, causing you to giggle into the kiss.
Theo's warm hand slowly traced from your waist down to your ass, relishing the way you melted under his touch, while his other hand guided yours to his crotch, placing it over his already throbbing erection before he finally pulled away from the kiss.
“Feel how hard I am for you?” theo whispered in a low, sultry voice, the words sending a rush of heat through your body as you palmed him through his tight pants. “All this is for you, amore.”
Just then, you heard Mattheo and Lorenzo stumble down the hallway, their footsteps heavy and unsteady as they sprinted towards your room, clumsily knocking over whatever was in their way, too eager to even care, before finally stepping inside and hastily slamming the door shut.
The first view that met their eyes was your ass raised high in the air, angled perfectly towards them, your skirt having ridden up all the way over your waist, giving them a perfect view of your drenched underwear as you were bent over, hungrily kissing theo.
“Holy… fuck…”
“So— uhm, yeah, we’re— we’re here” they stammered, staring at the scene in front of them with their mouths half open and painfully hard boners visible through their pants, forming noticeable wet patches on the fabric.
Theo's hand on your ass then travelled to the waistband of your panties, teasingly sliding it down and tossing it carelessly to the floor, revealing your glistening cunt with your arousal dripping down the insides of your thighs. Both Mattheo and Lorenzo felt as if they were about to explode and could cum at the sight alone already, but were quickly snapped back to reality when you pulled away from Theo's lips and broke the silence.
“So? You’re gonna help me out or what?” you taunted impatiently with a teasing grin, feeling painfully empty as you squeezed around nothing. They both blinked erratically as they were pulled out of their trance and nodded their heads, eagerness evident in their expressions.
You soon felt both their roaming hands on your body, exploring every inch eagerly with fervent curiosity as they hastily undressed you until you were completely naked, making you more aroused with each tantalising second. You felt their hands everywhere— squeezing your ass, pinching your sensitive nipples, teasingly brushing against your aching cunt. It was driving you wild as you simultaneously unbuckled theo’s belt, staring up at him while he gazed back down at you with that smug, cocky smile that made your heart race.
“You think you can handle all of us at the same time, bella?” you nodded without a second thought, your mind completely consumed by the desperate need for all three of them as you freed Theo’s throbbing cock from his pants, instantly jumping against his stomach as precum leaked from the swollen tip.
“Good fuckin’ girl.” you parted your lips, letting a glistening trail of spit land on his cock as he intently watched you with hungry, lust-filled eyes, biting his lip in anticipation, before your mouth finally met the swollen tip. You gently swirled your tongue over the most sensitive part, causing him to let out a deep, guttural moan, meanwhile behind you, you felt a pair of fingers—you weren’t even sure whose—rubbing your clit in slow circles as you simultaneously heard the frantic unbuckling of belts.
“Just like that, baby, fuck!” Theo’s hand moved to your head, fingers threading through your hair before taking a fistful of it and pulling your hair back into a loose ponytail, ensuring it was out of your way. Your head slowly sank down, taking him all the way into your mouth until you felt the tip brush against the back of your throat and your lips pressed against his balls, causing Theo to throw his head back in pure bliss.
When you felt two fingers suddenly enter you, you moaned loudly around Theo, the sound vibrating against him as the fingers curled up perfectly against your sensitive g-spot. Feeling desperate for more, you pushed your ass back with the movements, instinctively trying to create more friction as the slick, lewd sounds of their digits pumping deep inside of your wet cunt filled the room, mixing with your soft whimpers of pleasure.
“Fuck, she’s so wet” you heard Mattheo groan from behind you as if you weren’t even in the room, his voice thick with desire as he quickly rubbed circles on your aching clit and watched Lorenzo finger you at the same time, causing your legs to shake uncontrollably, your arousal dripping all over their quick hands.
“She’s squeezing me so fuckin’ tight— I can tell she wants more.” They were bringing you closer and closer to the edge, your release building with each passing second, but he was right— you wanted, no, needed more. You were craving to feel them, both of them.
“Yeah? You want more, baby? You want us to fuck you at the same time, hm?” Mattheo questioned, and you instantly pulled your lips from Theo with a soft plop, panting as soft ‘please’s desperately slipped from your spit-covered lips.
“Alright. But, uh, let me fuck her ass this time, yeah?” Lorenzo demanded at mattheo as he aggressively shoved him out of the way with his shoulder, causing mattheo to stumble to the side before retaliating with both hands pushing against his chest.
“Nah, it’s my fucking turn.”
“What the fuck do you mean?”
“What do you mean, what do I mean? I'm telling you mate, it’s my tu— alright. rock, paper, scissors to settle this, yeah?”
“Hm, fine… ready? rock…pa—“
“Oh my god, you fucking idiots. Enzo, get under me now before I lose my patience!” you snapped, drunk exasperation lacing your voice while Theo lifted himself from beneath you, shaking his head in a mix of disapproval and amusement, a grin spreading across his face.
“Whatever.” Lorenzo sighed defeatedly as he replaced Theo’s position, pulling you on top of him, his aching cock already nudging at your entrance. Theo settled beside you on the bed, swiftly passing the lube from the nightstand to Mattheo, all while amusingly watching Lorenzo make an even bigger fool of himself.
“What? You don’t want to fuck me? ‘Cause you can go jerk off in the fucking corner if that’s what you’d rather do.” You hissed at Lorenzo, glaring down at him. His eyes momentarily widened in surprise, before he shook his head in playful defiance and let out a low chuckle. Abruptly, he gripped your jaw, pulling your face close to his, and kissed you hungrily as if apologising. “Oh, c’mon baby, you know I love your pussy.”
A small, satisfied smile uncontrollably tugged at the corners of your lips as he rubbed his cock along your folds, teasing you while gazing up at you with that mischievous, sly smirk of his. He then firmly gripped your hips, his fingers digging into your skin, and slowly pushed into your dripping cunt, hissing at the feeling of being swallowed by your warmth. You quickly steadied yourself with your hands resting on his bare chest, feeling him deep inside of you and completely stretching you out, yet still craving more.
“You ready baby?” Mattheo asked from behind you as he spread your cheeks, gazing down with hungry, lustful eyes. “Mhm, please.” You begged, your voice a breathless whisper as you heard him pop the cap of the lube off before hastily rubbing himself with it and slowly pushing into you.
Holy. Fucking. Shit. The feeling of being stretched out by both of their cocks at the same time was so intoxicating, it left you breathless and made your heart race. It was simply indescribable how good it really felt. The sensation caused you to instinctively arch your back as you clutched the sheets tightly, consumed by sheer pleasure, every nerve ending in your body tingling with electric intensity. Mattheo was now fully inside you as well and patiently waited for you to adjust to the intense feeling.
Theo then firmly gripped your jaw, forcing you to meet his gaze as you stared up at him through barely open eyes and furrowed brows. “Does that feel good, hm? Having two dicks inside of you?” you nodded with your lips slightly parted in ecstasy, unable to form any coherent sentences.
“C’mon bella, use your words.”
“Feels— feels so fucking good, fuck!”
“Hm, that’s more like it. Open up baby, ‘cause we aren’t done yet.”
You obediently parted your lips wider to let Theo enter your mouth, his hand pressing against the back of your head guiding you deeper as he let out an almost primal groan, throwing his head back at the sensation of your warm mouth. At the same time, both Lorenzo and Mattheo began to move at a slow, deliberate pace, and your eyes rolled to the back of your head at the heavenly feeling of them stretching you out completely from both holes.
Strings of muffled curse words slipped from your lips as Theo mercilessly fucked your face, his piercing eyes staring down at you as he bit his lip, a low growl of pleasure escaping him. The other two boys quickly began to increase their pace, causing you to see stars as they could feel each other move against one another through the thin flesh that separated them, only intensifying the immense pleasure they were already feeling.
“Look at her— she can barely handle it, having three dicks inside of her.” Mattheo taunted, his hands tightly gripping the soft flesh of your ass as he relentlessly slammed into your tight hole at a brutal pace, causing you to moan loudly around Theo's throbbing erection. Your vision blurred as Lorenzo's hand moved to your throat, wrapping his fingers around it possessively, choking you just enough to make you feel lightheaded.
“You’re taking us so well, pretty girl. Doing so good for us.” Lorenzo growled as he gazed deep into your hazy eyes. Your head felt like it was spinning from the intense sensation, both of them pounding into you at a merciless pace, filling both your holes so deliciously while theo thrust into your mouth, making you gag on his thick cock.
The pornographic sounds of heavy breathing, lewd moans, and loud skin smacking completely filled the room, and you were certain you’d hear complaints from your nagging neighbours the next day, but right now, your mind was too clouded by the pleasure to even care. The feeling was beyond words and you couldn’t get enough.
“Such a dirty fuckin’ slut. One dick just wasn’t enough for you, huh? Sei tutta nostra.” Theo taunted as he slid his hand beneath you to your core, rubbing fast circles on your swollen clit while maintaining his brutal pace.
It was becoming too much as both Lorenzo and Mattheo continuously hit your most sensitive spots, quickly sending you spiralling over the edge, your orgasm crashing over you like a wave. You moaned loudly, your eyes squeezing shut in ecstasy while your nails dug deep into Lorenzo’s chest. You nearly collapsed on top of him, but theo quickly caught you, holding you up by your jaw with a gentle yet firm grip.
Not much later, Theo and Lorenzo reached their orgasms as well, both emptying themselves deep inside your cunt and mouth while Mattheo pulled out and came on your ass, feeling his warm sperm on your skin in thick spurts, painting you white.
The four of you froze for a moment, trying to catch your breath, chests heaving up and down as if the room was spinning around you from both the aftermath of the orgasm combined with the intoxicated state you were all still very much in. Theo gently wiped the excess sperm from the corner of your mouth with his thumb, hazily smiling down at you.
Lorenzo was the first to break the silence, much to your annoyance, a lazy smile stretching across his face as he leaned back against the headboard. “So, uhm… roommates with benefits, huh?”
“NO! Stop trying to make that a thing!”
“Nice way to instantly ruin the mood, mate.”
“No offense but I’d rather cut off my own dick than refer to any of you as that.”

In which Spencer crosses paths with the woman he's been dreaming about. Their undeniable attraction turns fantasy into reality.
Pairing: Spencer Reid x fem!reader Genre: smut (18+) x fluff Content warnings: lots of build up, perv!spence, lovesick!spence, lots of flirting, teasing, sex toys, p in v sweet sensual sex Word count: 4,6k A/n: part two of through thin walls! you can read this as a standalone, but it's a short one so give it a try ;)
It had been three weeks since Spencer last had a nightmare. Ever since his neighbor—a woman he had yet to meet—moved in next door, his nights had been calm, peaceful. Sleep had become something he looked forward to, but it wasn’t just sleep itself. It was the moments before, the quiet waiting in anticipation that became part of his routine.
Every time he came home from an exhausting case, he would crawl into bed and lean back against the headboard, his body settling as he awaited a movement from the apartment next to him. Feeling a sense of relief when her sweet moans would slip through the thin wall.
It didn’t take Spencer long to find a pattern in her routine. On weekdays, it was quick, urgent. The soft moans would rise, then fall—until Thursday. Thursdays were different. He could tell by the muffled groans and the frustrated sighs, that she was unable to find the release she so desperately sought. She would let out a final huff, signalling Spencer to stop his movements.
He was aware that he had no obligation towards the woman, but he found no pleasure in the act of touching himself when he knew she wasn’t enjoying herself. These days left a toll on him. Irritated by the fact that he couldn’t just knock on her door with the suggestion of helping her out. But luckily, there were still the weekends. The weekends were good. Her sessions stretched longer, her pleasure unraveling slowly but intensely. Spencer never managed to keep up alongside her, but he couldn’t help continuing to listen as he laid down with his eyes closed. Savoring each breath, each moment as he found peace in the fact that she felt satisfied by the end of the night.
It wasn’t every day that they would share intimate moments like these. On times she didn’t indulge, Spencer found comfort in the other sounds of her life. Hearing her television hum in the background, not loud enough to make out the words, but her occasional laughter—or her soft humming along with a song—was enough to remind him she was there, just beyond the walls.
It was strange, to feel such familiarity with someone he had never spoken to, someone who’s name he didn’t even know, but somehow Spencer had grown very attached to her presence. He often wondered what the rest of her life looked like. Making it a game to fill in the blanks with the inkling of behaviour he had.
One thing he could confidently profile was her loneliness. Whether that was by choice or by circumstance, or a mixture of both, he didn’t know. Only that he has never heard another voice besides hers, not even the typical hellos and goodbyes one would make on a phone call. He hoped she was settling in well, wishing he could bring her the comfort she has given him since her arrival.
It was noon, on a rare day where Spencer didn’t have to go to the office. But Spencer wasn’t the type to sit still on his free days. He grabbed his saddlebag from the leather chair next to the door, whistling a tune under his breath as he looked for his keys. He unlocked the door with a quick turn of the handle, but before he could step out, a yelp echoed from the hallway.
“I’m sor-,” he froze mid-apology, the automatic reply getting stuck in his throat as he processed the familiar sound. That gasp—it was embedded in his memory, a sound he could recognize anywhere, even though the circumstances were completely different. His cheeks flushed, heat spreading across his face, and he found himself afraid to tilt his head, knowing who he would face.
“It’s okay, don’t worry! I should’ve looked out.” The voice apologized.
Spencer’s mind scrambled. He wanted to tell her that he should be the one apologizing, that it was his fault for slamming the door open without considering who might be walking through the shared hallway. But all he could manage was a strangled silence, his tongue sticking to the roof of his mouth.
He swallowed, forcing himself to look up. His stomach fluttered and his pupils blew wide as he made eye contact with her. She was more beautiful than anything beyond his wildest dreams. He was almost ashamed for picturing her any less than she is. He felt flustered as his mind began piecing her face and body together with the sounds that he’s been eavesdropping on for the past couple of weeks.
He realized how awkward he was making the situation when she looked up at him with big eyes, clearly waiting for some kind of response.
“Did you like my cookies?” She asked, breaking the quiet, her voice a little hesitant but genuine.
Spencer blinked, surprised at the question, his mind struggling to catch up. "Cookies?" he repeated, brows knitting together in confusion.
The girl noticed his expression and rushed to explain. “I brought you cookies,” she said, her hands moving slightly, as if trying to emphasize the story. “When I first moved in here.”
Spencer stayed quiet, getting her to elaborate further. “You weren’t home. I left them on your doorstep,” she continued, a little sheepishly.
He nodded, letting out a small sigh as he made the connection. “It’s my neighbor,” he pointed to the door to the left of him with a vague sweep of his hand, the gesture almost apologetic. “The other one. Miss Cavanaugh. She has a habit of stealing.”
Her eyes widened in surprise, and her mouth hung slightly open at the casualty in which he mentioned this fact.
“Oh no, don’t worry! she won’t steal from you.” He quickly corrected, raising his hand to wave off any concern. “Well, she might but it’s not likely she’d, like, break into your apartment. That would be a criminal act—breaking and entering—which is a felony in all 50 states. Actually, it's a federal offense in certain circumstances.” He glances off to the side for a moment, thinking, then gestures with a loose hand.
“My point is, she’s more of a, uh, casual thief, if that makes sense? Like, you know, she might nab food or a basket or something left outside, but the odds of her actually coming into your apartment are really low. Statistically speaking, this building has an impressively low crime rate for DC, especially for this price range. It’s safer than 75.3% of comparable buildings in the area.”
His brows furrowed together at the end of his sentence, as if his brain just caught up with his words. “I’m rambling, aren’t I?”
The corners of her lips lifted, a soft but genuine smile lighting her face.
“That’s good to know. I didn’t do that much research when I moved in here.” She held out her hand, introducing herself.
Her hand was smaller than his, and without thinking, he clasped it gently between both of his, needing to know if he indeed had the connection with her he assumed he had. The touch sent a jolt through him, feeling the spark of electricity he was hoping for. He surprised himself with how much he didn’t want to let go and, more so, how she didn’t pull away.
"I’m Doctor Spencer Reid," he said, his voice softer now, tinged with a genuine awe as he looked at her.
Her eyebrows rose in curiosity. “Doctor, huh? Good to know there’s one next door in case I drop dead.”
“Oh, uh—” His words came in a tumble as he rushed to explain. “Not a medical doctor. I’m with the FBI. I specialize in criminal behavior. So if you were to, say, die by murder, I’d be the one—uh, the one investigating it.”
The words hung in the air for a beat longer than he intended, and before he could stop himself, he added, “Not that I want you to die, or—uh, be murdered. That’s… that’s not what I meant at all. I mean, if there was even a chance someone wanted to hurt you, I’d make sure to stop it before it happened, but—”
Her laugh, bright and airy, caught him off guard. She then tilted her head slightly, studying him in a way that made her seem like the profiler.
“I’ll see you around, Spencer,” she finally said, her voice teasing but kind. His cheeks flushed at the way his name rolled off of her tongue.
Before he could respond, she turned on her heel and walked off. Spencer couldn’t tear his eyes away from her, her presence lingering even after her figure disappeared down the hall. He stood frozen in the doorway, his heart racing from the exchange.
When he finally stepped back inside, he closed the door and leaned heavily against it, letting out a groan.
He’d forgotten all about the plans he previously had. Instead, his thoughts swirled around her—even more curious about his neighbor than he was before. As he replayed their brief exchange, one thing became startlingly clear: he needed to see her again.
It was like faith heard him. Later, on that evening, Spencer stepped into the laundromat of the apartment complex, the soft hum of dryers and the faint smell of detergent filling the air. He just finished taking his laundry out of the dryer when he saw her—standing at one of the machines, pulling her clothes out with an ease that made the mundane task look almost elegant.
Spencer moved toward her, a little too quickly, and nearly bumped into a man coming the other way. “Sorry,” he mumbled, placing his basket down beside hers.
Her eyes flicked up, catching his gaze immediately. The air between them shifted, filled with an undeniable spark.
“Hi, Doc,” she greeted with a warm smile. “We meet again.”
“Hi,” Spencer managed, his voice a little breathless.
He glanced down at the pile of laundry. “Sock day?” he asked with a smirk, genuinely curious.
She chuckled softly. “More like underwear day in general. I like to stick to a schedule.”
“Me too!” Spencer eagerly responded, excited to have something in common with her.
She sighed as she held up a sock, contemplating its mate. “Underwear day is the worst though. It’s going to take me hours to match these.”
Spencer gave a quiet laugh. “I gave up on that a while ago.” He casually rolled up his pants, revealing mismatched socks—one green with avocados, the other purple with yellow stripes. “It’s more fun this way.”
She crouched down to get a better look, her eyes scanning the colorful mismatched pair. Spencer bit down on his lip. The act was so innocent, but his thoughts wandered, imagining what it might be like if she were kneeling for a different reason.
Jesus, it feels like I swapped brains with Derek.
He cleared his throat, wiping his clammy hands on his pants. She noticed, getting back on her feet, though she didn’t seem embarrassed. If anything, her eyes twinkled with excitement.
“It is more fun that way,” she agreed. “You see a serious guy like you, dressed up all neat and then, poof, funky socks. Like magic.”
His face brightened at the mention of magic. “I could show you another magic trick—a sock trick.”
She snorted, clearly intrigued. “A sock trick?”
Spencer’s confidence grew, knowing he could impress her and wanting to make her smile again. He grabbed a polka-dot sock from his laundry basket, holding it up between his fingers.
“Alright. I’m going to take this sock…” He moved with exaggerated care, his hands precise as he folded the sock in half, then folded it again. “And just like that, I’m going to make it disappear.”
He made a quick move, waving his hands dramatically to hide how he tucked it into the waistband of his pants. “See? Gone.”
She looked at him with wide, amused eyes. “You can’t be serious. Where did it go?”
He smirked and leaned in. “Ah, but that’s the trick—you have to keep an eye on me.” The back of his fingers softly trailed up her cheek, his confidence growing as he felt the heat radiating off her. In one smooth motion, he pulled the exact same sock from behind her ear.
Her mouth dropped open in surprise. “No way.”
“Now look in your basket.”
She shook her head in disbelief. She looked at her laundry pile, and sitting right on top was the matching polka-dot sock.
She threw her head back, laughing, overwhelmed with amazement.
Spencer chuckled softly, enjoying her reaction. “I grew up in Vegas, so I’ve had some practice—but the real magic is in the timing. You were too focused on me to notice the disappearance.”
His words were meant as a mere observation, but the realization seemed to dawn on both of them. She had indeed been too focused on him—only him.
The tension between them grew. She toyed with her lip, and he adjusted the collar of his shirt as they maintained eye contact.
“Laundromat is closing, folks! Everybody out in five minutes.” The announcement through the speakers made them both jump, shaken out of the trance they were in.
“Can I walk you to your apartment?” Spencer asked.
Her eyes glistened, and her smile reached the corners of her mouth. “Yeah, I’d like that.”
They walked out of the laundromat, continuing their small talk about magic and life while sharing the occasional giggle. The stairway was too narrow to walk side by side—especially when carrying a big laundry basket—but that didn’t seem to bother them. The sides of their bodies brushed, their pace matching as they ascended the stairs. Spencer kept an arm behind her back, ready to steady her if she stumbled.
They arrived at their neighboring apartment doors. The air was filled with a mix of the sorrow of their encounter ending and the anticipation of a new one.
The scene almost felt like the end of a first date. Tension hung in the air as they shifted back and forth on their feet, wondering if a goodbye kiss would follow.
“This is mine,” Spencer commented.
She let out a breathy chuckle. “I know.”
After a moment of lingering eye contact, she decided to take the lead.
“Good night, Spencer.” She smiled softly.
“Good night,” he repeated.
Spencer felt a rush of joy as he closed the door behind him. Flirting wasn’t his strong suit. In fact, he wasn’t even sure if their exchanges today could be considered flirting. But there was something comfortable about it. Something effortless. And, most importantly, he’d made her laugh. Several times.
Lost in his thoughts, Spencer set his laundry basket down on the table, preparing to fold the clothes. He wasn’t paying attention as he reached inside—until his fingers brushed against an unfamiliar material.
He looked down with a frown. In his hand was a pair of red laced panties. His throat tightened, and for a moment, he could only stare at them in disbelief.
A vivid image flashed in his mind—those same red panties, nestled in his neighbor’s laundry basket. He frowned deeper, replaying their interaction in his mind. Could I have taken them by accident? He was sure he hadn’t. With an eidetic memory, he’d be able to remember something like that.
His confusement and worry were quickly overcome by a feeling of curiosity and lust. Spencer’s fingers lingered over the fabric, the soft lace slipping between them.
It wasn’t difficult to imagine her in it. The delicate lace tracing the curve of her waist, the soft dips and rises of her hips. Her body seemed to shimmer in the dim glow of his imagination.
Slowly, almost imperceptibly, she shifted in his mind. His fingers curled slightly around the fabric, imagining the way it would feel against her skin as she moved. She lowered her hands, fingers trailing over her body as she slid the lace downward, over the curve of her hips, the fabric teasing the soft swell of her backside. He could almost hear it—the quiet rustle of the lace moving, sliding over her skin as she undressed, the tension in his chest building with each slow, deliberate motion.
His heartbeat quickened as he imagined her pulling the panties lower. The lace graced the insides of her legs, following the shape of her thighs as she removed it with such ease, such grace. And then, just like that, it was gone. The fabric fell, pooling at her feet, leaving her standing before him, utterly exposed.
As his fingers twisted the delicate lace, the image of her in his mind began to fade, slipping away like a dream that was never meant to stay. His subconscious seemed to know that any attempt to imagine her would only fall short. With a quiet exhale, Spencer loosened his grip, folded the lace carefully, and tucked it into his pocket—out of sight, out of mind.
He decided to lie down on his bed, not to sleep, but simply to relax. But his body had other ideas. Before he knew it, his eyes had closed, and his mind had drifted off. The soft purr of his name pulled him from his light doze.
For a moment, Spencer thought he was in heaven—that his pulse had quickened from the thought of her and now he found himself in a place where he could hear her voice calling out his name, like an angel. But as his eyes fluttered open, he realized the voice was more muffled and coming from behind the wall.
“Spencer? Spencer, can you hear me?”
Startled, he swiftly propped himself up on his elbows, his mouth parting before he swallowed his words. Admitting that he could hear her—especially after the sounds from the previous nights—felt like a confession. The idea of those nights ending made his chest tighten, but if it meant he could speak to her again, it was a sacrifice he was willing to make.
“Yes. I can hear you,” he called back, his voice a little louder.
A long silence followed. Spencer cursed himself, anxious that he’d ruined it. But then, he heard the soft, familiar buzz.
“What about this? Do you hear this?” she asked, a playful edge to her voice.
I- I do. What is it?” Spencer asked, his curiosity peaked.
Her giggle echoed softly through the wall, and his chest tightened with warmth. He smiled without thinking, his heart aching at the sound.
“You don’t know what this is?” she amusingly teased.
“No,” he admitted, sheepish.
“It’s a vibrator, Spencer.”
Her words hit him like a sudden jolt of electricity. He could feel the heat rise in his face, but then came her sweet laughter again. Spencer shook his head, smiling despite himself.
“Have you ever tried it?” she asked, her voice sounding almost daring.
Spencer quietly responded. “No.”
“Would you like to?”
“I- I don’t know,” he murmured. “Maybe.”
A beat of silence passed, before she spoke again.
“You could come over and find out.”
Spencer’s face went red, his heart pounding in his chest. “N-now?”
“Yes, now,” she answered with a soft chuckle.
Spencer scrambled off the bed, his pulse racing as he hurried toward the door, afraid she might change her mind. He forced himself to stop when he stood in front of her apartment, drawing in a deep breath to steady the surge of nervous excitement. The moment he’d been fantasizing about for so long was a knock away from becoming reality.
Knock, knock.
The door creaked open, and Spencer was met with the breathtaking sight of her.
She stepped aside and gave him that look—the one that made every nerve in his body stir with need. “Come in.”
“Are you sure?” Spencer’s voice barely made it out, thick with anticipation.
She didn’t answer with words. Instead, she moved toward him, lifting onto her toes as she placed her hand on the back of his neck, the touch sending a shiver down his spine. And then, she kissed him.
There was no rush behind her soft lips. It wasn’t frantic like his thoughts had been. It was gentle—like she was savoring the moment just as much as he was.
She slowly lowered herself back to her feet, and she gazed up on him, a soft smile on her lips, eyes twinkling.
It took Spencer a moment to process what had just happened, but once he did, he pulled her back in, his lips crashing into hers with desperate urgency. She responded in kind, her hands sliding into his hair, tugging him closer. His breath came in shallow gasps as he lifted her, her legs instinctively wrapping around his waist, and he carried her to the wall. Their bodies pressed against the same wall that had once held their whispered breaths.
His mind felt like it was spinning—this was real, she was real, and he was touching her. His lips trailed down her neck, the soft skin beneath his mouth sending sparks of desire through him.
“Spencer,” she murmured, and the sound of her voice made his heart stutter. He responded by lifting his lips from her skin, needing to look at her—to drink her in, to memorize every detail.
She met his gaze, her lips parted. “Take it off,” she breathed, pulling at his shirt, her hands shaking with the same feverish need.
Spencer stepped back slightly, eyes never leaving her, and pulled his shirt over his head. His eyes traced every inch of her as she began to undress too, throwing her clothes aside.
“Fuck,” he whispered to himself as she revealed her nude body, wearing no underwear underneath the clothes she just took off.
She smirked, her gaze burning into his. “I told you it was underwear day.”
He let out a breathy chuckle, shaking his head. “God, I’ve dreamed about this,” he murmured, his voice hoarse with awe and desire.
Her lips curled into a satisfied smile as she pulled him back into her embrace, their bodies stumbling towards the bed. She fell softly onto the sheets, and he moved on top of her, capturing her lips in a lingering kiss.
Spencer began to pepper her with kisses, unsure where to start. He hummed as his tongue swiped along the curve of her neck. His wet kisses trailed down to her collarbones, leaving purple marks on his way down, each one encouraged by her sweet moans.
As he moved further up the bed, his knee brushed against something. His focus shifted as he noticed the small, purple object. “Is this it?” he asked, curiously, and she nodded.
He picked it up, noticing it was smaller than his index finger. As he rolled the toy in his hand, it suddenly buzzed to life, making him jump back. She laughed at his reaction, clearly amused.
He quickly figured out how to stop the buzzing and he hovered above her, tracing her lips with the toy. She instinctively opened her mouth, her tongue rolling around it.
“Good girl,” he hummed. “That’s it.”
She moaned softly as she closed her lips around it, sucking gently while maintaining eye contact. He slowly slid the vibrator from her lips, its surface glistening with the trace of her tongue. Turning it on again, he moved it to her nipple, the bud instantly hardening. She let out quiet whimpers, her body trembling with the sensation.
Once satisfied, he placed his mouth on her nipple while the vibrator moved to the other one. She arched her back with a moan as he sucked on the sensitive bud.
Her hips rolled in response to his touch, and with every movement her skin brushed against his length, making it harder to hold back his moans.
“Don’t go quiet on me now. You always make such beautiful sounds,” she purred.
His face flushed as he looked at her, her fingers brushing through his locks. “Don’t tell me you didn’t know. I think the whole complex has heard you,” she giggled.
He opened her thighs, and without warning, placed the vibrator directly on her clit. She let out a high-pitched cry.
“I’m pretty sure all they hear is you,” he teased back. Her voice was a mixture of laughter and moans and he kissed her passionately, desperate to hold onto that sound, to keep it locked within him forever.
She loosely wrapped her legs around his waist, her hand brushing against his to keep the toy in place. He leaned onto his elbows, hovering above her, moaning when his length slipped between her folds. He moved steadily, each thrust coating him in her wetness. Every time he thrust up, his tip brushed against the vibrator, sending shudders through his body. She upped the intensity, and their moans became synchronized, echoing in the air.
Their breathing grew heavier, only interrupted by soft kisses. Spencer felt her tense beneath him, her legs trembling against his back.
“You can let go for me. Show me how good you make yourself feel,” he encouraged, his voice low and warm against her lips.
“It’s you who’s making me feel this good, Spencer,” she whispered, and he could feel the butterflies flutter in his chest.
He held her close as she reached her peak, her soft cries muffled by her face buried in the crook of his neck. Spencer was pressed against the vibrator, the sensation overwhelming him.
She placed the toy beside her, her hand finding his hardness and guiding him inside of her. Spencer let out a needy whine as he was enveloped by her warmth. She pulsed around him, and he knew he wouldn’t last much longer. She pulled him into a sloppy kiss, and he desperately moved his hips, driven by the overwhelming pleasure, until he spilled inside of her.
They stayed like that for a moment, their foreheads pressed together as they caught their breath. Spencer eventually rolled off her, their legs remaining intertwined.
He turned his head to look at her, and she was already watching him with a sweet smile.
“That was nice,” he mused softly.
“Yeah, it was,” she replied, her voice just as soft.
They spent the rest of the night, and the entirety of the next morning tangled up in each other, until it was time for Spencer to leave for work.
She watched him with adoration as he pulled his pants on, her eyes tracing his movements. As he reached into his pocket, his hand brushed against the familiar lace, and he froze. His cheeks flushed as he pulled out the bundle of fabric—her red laced panties.
“I- uh…” he stammered, holding them out to her. “Here.”
She chuckled. “You can keep them. Consider it a welcome gift. You know, since the cookies didn’t exactly work out.”
“That’s okay. It’s yours,” he replied, holding them out to her once more.
Her smirk deepened. “I didn’t do that little magic trick just for you to give them back,” she teased.
His eyes widened in surprise. “Wait—you put them in my laundry?”
She shrugged, a playful glint in her eye. “You’re not the only magician here, Spencer.”
Spencer laughed, coming to a halt at the door. He glanced over his shoulder. “Same time tomorrow?” he asked with a grin.
She chuckled softly, nodding. “I think I could get used to that.”

you were minding your business while you were out driving, on your way to the grocery store, when you hear sirens behind you blaring. you look at your rear-view mirror to see the flashing red and blue lights, you tense up and pull over. you weren't even speeding, just going five over the speed limit. everyone goes five over the speed limit.
you try and calm yourself down, maybe he'll let you go easy.
you hear a tap on your window and look over to see a familiar broad chest in front of your window, with the familiar badge number and name tag on his chest. sawamura daichi. it read. you roll down your window and he bends down to get to eye level, you could recognize those brown eyes from anywhere, even if they were hiding behind a pair of aviators (that you bought him).
"hi ma'am, may i see your license and registration." he tilts his aviators down to get a better look at your face. you smile at your husband's antics.
"yes, officer" you say as you lean over to your glove compartment, going along with his silly act. you grab your registration and open your wallet to hand him your license. he takes it from your hand, making sure to brush his hand against yours.
as he's examining the two items you handed over he asks, "are you aware why i pulled you over ma'am?" he looks back down at you, handing back your license and registration.
"no officer." you say with a smile, trying hard to contain your laughter. clearly he's going with the bit.
"you were speeding, that's going to cost you." he pulls out his ticket book and a pen to write it down.
"but officer i was only going five over!" you plead, no way your own husband was about to write you up.
"five over it still speeding ma'am, not going to let a pretty lady like you that easily" he smirks, tearing off the ticket and handing it to you. "it'll cost you one kiss."
"really?" you quirk an eyebrow, all this for a kiss?
"yes really" he bends down into an uncomfortable position, cupping your cheeks and you lean into his calloused hands. he pulls you closer, head out the window as you kiss him deeply. hopefully this will keep him going for a while. you pull away, both of you smiling ear to ear at this dumb act. you pull him down by his collar again for another one, for good measure of course.
"is that enough officer?" you cheekily ask.
"yes ma'am, have a good day." he replies, pulling his aviators down the bridge of his nose to give you a wink before he walks away. you wink back at him.
"bye officer!" you yell at your husband as he walks away, rolling up your car window. you look at the ticket he gave you and you see that he scribbled the words:
we're out of milk
you roll your eyes as you open your phone, going to the contact labeled with daichi ❤️ to send him a text.
you: if we needed milk you could've just texted me
daichi ❤️ : now where's the fun in that?

You Always Come First
(No matter how upset I am)
Zayne x Reader
summary: you and zayne have a small spat over you neglecting your health. as a result of it, you decide to sleep on the couch, not wanting to bother/upset him even further. randomly waking up in the night, you notice you’re no longer alone on the couch and do everything you can to get the doctor back in bed before he’s sore for his shift tomorrow.
tags: not proofread!, hurt/comfort? (i didn’t rlly include the hurt part of it so im not too sure), fluff, literal sleeping together, caring n sweet zayne (when is he not), self indulgent per usual
a/n: bro tumblr is REALLY testing my patience. why is it so dumb with everything i try to post. it’s literally why i haven’t posted a fic in a while. i can’t take this much longer i may crash out soon. anyway, as always hope u enjoy! (⁎˃ᴗ˂⁎)
side tangent: i actually have been so obsessed with caleb. it’s actually a problem. i have been loyal to zayne this entire time and i’ve been playing since release, but caleb is REALLY testing it. lord i’m a sucker for the protective n caring childhood friends to lovers trope (¯―¯٥) (id expect a caleb fic soon tbh if tumblr wants to stop hating me and making my life so difficult)
the fight was stupid. you were neglecting your health once again not taking your medicine, not resting, and ignoring doctors specific orders. zayne often could never say no to you, he always spoiled you and gave into any of your requests. the only time he was stern and stubborn was when it involved your health, that he doesn’t and will never budge on. you often lacked care for your health, pushing it to the back burners of your mind and often calling zayne dramatic saying “you knew yourself and your limits”. something zayne wasn’t particularly fond of. he confronted you about your recent negligence of your health and both of your stubbornness in your beliefs led to an argument.
it’s been an hour or 2 since it ended though. zayne left to your shared bedroom, most likely to do some work, while you stayed out in the living area, trying to distract yourself from the anger turning to sadness and guilt in your heart. you ended up deciding to just sleep on the couch tonight not wanting to bother him after an argument. you grabbed an extra pillow and thin blanket from a nearby closet and put on a random show so you wouldn’t have to fall asleep listening to your own thoughts. soon enough you were able to relax and fall into a slumber.
you don’t know how long it’s been since you fell asleep. you hear the tv still on as you slowly wake and become aware of your surroundings. once you can see clearly, that’s when you realize you were laying on top of zayne previously using his chest as a pillow unbeknownst to you. he has been peacefully sleeping on the couch with you for who knows how long. as you sat up in a panic you also notice a thicker, softer blanket, one you have preference for, falling off of your shoulders. instantly guilt is washed over you as you look at zayne, who is a somewhat light sleeper, somehow still deep in his sleep. you swallow quickly as you build confidence to wake him up.
you lean closer to his face which was awkwardly propped up by the couch’s arm rest, a position that you couldn’t imagine to be anywhere near comfortable. you lightly tap his shoulder and call his name trying to wake him up. soon enough he does, opening his eyes to see you staring back at him, the faintest smile appears on his face at the sight, almost forgetting of the spat you two shared earlier. before he could even say anything you scold him:
“why are you here? i was sleeping on the couch tonight. you have work early in the morning go back to bed and go to sleep.”
“couldn’t have you sore in the morning” he answers calmly releasing a small yawn in the process.
“neither can you! you have a long shift starting early tomorrow. i’ll be fine just go back to bed.” you quickly rebutted trying to push him off the couch, something that you didn’t have the strength to do, but nevertheless you persisted.
“i can get through a shift with an achy neck, however you can not.” he replies as he softly grabs your hands that are trying to shove him away back to bed.
“i know i’ll be fine. i’ll live to see another day. now go back to bed already!” you say. your voice getting louder as you’re starting to get frustrated trying to break out of his soft grasp.
“will you be joining me?” he asks softly not letting go of your wrists that keep trying to fight against him.
“no, i’m sleeping on the couch!” your voice raising above the tv still playing in the back illuminating the room.
“then it seems like i shall too” he states as he frees your wrists and pushes you back onto his chest, laying the blanket over you both.
before you can even think of a response zayne wraps his arms around your torso and closes his eyes to fall asleep once again, to which you quickly flick his chest to wake him back up. he opens his eyes again and looks down at you with an unamused expression.
“why won’t you just let me sleep here alone?” you ask in a tone he can’t quite place, nevertheless he can hear the slight amount sorrow that came along with it.
“i already told you, i can’t have you go into work tomorrow with a sore neck and back.” he says closing his eyes again despite your wishes against it.
“if you don’t wish to be with me tonight then i’ll sleep on the couch and you can take the bed” he continues. his arms involuntarily tighten ever so slightly around you showing how much he doesn’t want that.
“but i also told you!!! you can’t sleep on the couch, you have a few surgeries to complete, and you have to be in your best shape to do so.” you try to push up against his arms wrapped around you, another pointless action.
zayne sighs and opens his eyes again to look at you before speaking.
“well then you have two options. one, we both move over to the bed to sleep. or two, i sleep here and you sleep over in the room. my job isn’t physically taxing compared to yours, im not allowing you to go in if you don’t have a proper rest.”
he looks tired. you study his features before you respond to him. taking a moment to look at the eyebags under his eyes and a slight frustration growing in his face from this back and forth.
you sigh before answering “then to the bed we go”
a soft smile appears on zaynes face as he begins to get up. his neck slightly sore, but he wouldn’t reveal that to you. although it’s against your wishes, he lifts you up having you hold the blanket and pillow as he carries you back to bed.
he sets you down on your side of the bed, thinking you won’t necessarily want to be close with him tonight. not before tucking you in and kissing the top of your head whispering his love and goodnight wishes. as he gets into bed you turn to face him. once he fully lays down you scootch closer to him and grab onto the hem of his shirt. he instantly understands what you want and pulls you towards him, pressing you to his side as he wraps his arms around you.
he kisses your forehead once more and whispers
“we will continue our discussion after work tomorrow. goodnight, i love you.”
too tired to argue with him anymore you just nod your head against him replying quietly mouth squished against him making your words barely audible.
“goodnight, love you too”
