All this. I could go on forever about how underrated AND disrespected he is in public by the F1 community, which should be a strange thing to say about a 4 x wc but is sadly the truth. And you understand that when you look at how other motosport legends and categories treat him.

Seb has never cared to market himself and has preferred to let his work speak for himself, but in this world too many pay more attention to image and promotion rather than quality of what he does.

Sebastian is my favourite driver because of who he is as a person - as well - but I would probably not pay attention to any of that if he wasn't the driver and champion he is. When he goes behind the wheel I trust him; when I compare him to other drivers I always think he is the best and can beat everyone and has all the skills to win more titles if he so wished to focus on it.

I like other drivers too and I respect his oponents over the years. But, to me, he will always be the best.

anyways i genuinely and deeply believe that seb is one of the best, well-rounded, most talented racing drivers currently active and i think no matter where he was racing, he'd adapt within less than one season. he's incredibly versatile, everyone who has worked with him praises his quick understanding, intelligence and detailed feedback. he's a genius on track and seizes every opportunity he can and any team across all of motorsport recognizes his talent. so many other drivers know him to be courteous and friendly and so many racing series want to win him (and the fanbase and recognition that comes with him) to drive for them. It's clear that once a team is genuinely happy to have him and listens to him, he's a major force that very few other drivers could come up against.
