PONYBOY loves how empathetic you are. He appreciates how you may seem like a "dumb girl" but you still persevere and strive towards amazing goals with passion. He loves when you sing, he thinks your voice is powerful and warm and tries to get you to sing country because he thinks you'd fit it perfectly. He tries his hardest to not let the socs get near you, he sees them as evil and corrupt so will literally throw a big ass tantrum if they get near you.

JOHNNY sees you like a drop of water in the desert. There are not many people in Tulsa that are as pure and kind as you are. You have the ability to smile and laugh through anything, and he finds you to be so sweet. He loves your singing too, he's always wanted to sing but he's a bit shy so you have to work it out of him. He loves watching you do your hair, putting them in big pagent queen styles, and he loves the smell of your hairspray.

SODAPOP absolutely adores you. You are like, the perfect girl, (in his eyes). He thinks your country style makes you fit perfectly into Tulsa. He's often beard saying that Tulsa was made for you. Sodas crush on you is more or less very obvious. He tries talking to you about horses all the time because that's the only "country esque" thing he can think of. He's also very protective of you around socs, he's always walking you home late at night and always making sure you get home safely.

STEVE is totally a jerk to you at first because he thinks your kindness stems from malice. He's always avoiding you, so you took a hint and left him alone, he found himself thinking about you more and more until eventually he developed a little crush on you. He's always talking about you, complimenting your personality. He buys you records just to hear you sing and is always supporting you from the sidelines. He loves helping you do your hair, holding a hair roller in place etc, and sometimes even let's you do his hair.

TWO BIT is actually a big Dolly Parton fan, but only because he realized he has such a big fat crush on you. He recognized the similarities between you two and now he's fingerling over both of you. He'll give you her songs on tapes that you can play and he's soooo happy when you sing them. He tries not to "mold" you to Dolly though, letting your uniqueness shine through. He always appreciates the little moments when you tell him what's bothering you and stuff instead of being totally super happy all the time.

DARRY also recognized the similarities between you and Dolly Parton. He thinks it's pretty cool to have such a carbon copy of a celebrity walking around. Unknowingly, he started noticing you and talking to you more, even forming a crush on you. He thinks your extravagant country glamours yet your Lind and empathetic personality is such an attractive think to have. He's always singing Dolly's songs noelw, because they remind him of you. He's always trying to shelter you, he tells you that if you have any issue with a soc or greaser to come find him and he'll take care of it.

DALLAS finds your country style pretty fascinating, however, he thinks your kindness is annoying and knows there's no way to leverage you. He and you dated as a bet to see how long you both would last, you dating the tuffest guy and him with the perfect girl. You thought why not have a little fun and accepted. Seeing how strong you two were going was a nod to how surprisingly compatible you two were. He always steals records for you to listen to and makeup and hair products. He complains about getting emasculated but his reputation really skyrocketed by dating you. He's also really protective over you but not only with socs but with greasers too. He only trusts you around the gang, and even then not so much.

While he would usually hate noises when he doesn't expect them (ie loud voices in the library caused by Ace and Deuce) he absolutely loves your singing

Will he tell you this to your face? No, probably not at first. He has made hints towards it in the past, saying things like "hey you sound really good!" but then there's the part where suddenly you get a whole background cast singing with you. NOW he's shooketh

I think he would've first thought it was a bit weird? Like is this your unique magic? But overall, I think he wouldn't mind as long as it doesn't cause any damage or breaks any of the Queen of Hearts' rules

Definitely try to get some of the animals that are around the dorm gardens to sing or at least dance with you like they do in Disney films lol. I think he would find it adorable

He found it annoying but then got used to it haha. Like he just thinks it's funny now when you suddenly burst into song and the whole classroom gets filled with passing students also singing about how Professor Crewel's class is too hard

You singing alone though, he loves. He's also too shy to tell you upfront but you have definitely caught him looking at you with a warm look in his eyes when you hum and accidentally get eye contact

Probably assumes this whole musical situation is your unique ability. If it's not, he's just confused even more. I think you should use it during a Spelldrive competition!

While he says he loves the arts, he was not expecting musical theater as his forefront. Now he's here, with whom he sees as the love of his life, singing and dancing about how you are going to get "your head in the game" for Spelldrive with like 30 other students

He's not the greatest with crowds, but does find it somewhat amusing how you are able to conjure up so many people at once. Does this mean the Monstro Lounge gets hella packed from time to time on accident? Maybe!

I think he would love you singing by yourself and will constantly tell you this. Ursula much? He probably tried to steal your voice when you two first met haha. Either way, he wants to hear you a lot

Believes it's your unique magic whether or not you think so. I think he'll be stubborn about it for some reason. But! He does think it's really cool, perhaps you could teach him how you make it happen

Absolutely loves it! He's also singing along if it happens to be a song he knows. For example, everyone suddenly bursting into "Prince Ali" would be awesome!

Does Jamil appreciate this? From time to time like when Scarabia is throwing a party then it's sort of like a big moment and you're technically helping him with managing the whole event.

Kalim also isn't shy about telling you that your voice is amazing. He's probably said that first when you two met and you were mindlessly humming to yourself while doing homework with him.

If it happens to be your unique ability I think he would think it's the coolest one he's ever witnessed (even though he can basically conjure water). Definitely sing tunes he knows, since that will make students and him all join

While Vil is strict and loves quiet times, he's also a theater kid at heart. You two know basically every musical song out there so whenever you burst into song, not only will students (maybe animals?) join you but he might as well!

You guys need to do duets PLZ. It will be soooooooo cute. Sure, that doesn't mean 40 other students will suddenly start singing so it's not as big, but it's very heartfelt. I think he would love random singing

If it's your unique ability, he definitely thinks it's cool. Just keep in mind not to cause a musical to erupt when he's stressed out though, since that could result in him laughing or throwing magic in your direction

He hates crowds. The first time you caused "That's How You Know Her" to begin in the middle of you two hanging out at the courtyard he ran away because you made literally every student in the periphery start dancing and singing

He thinks you have a beautiful voice. He's shy about telling you this, but I think he would absolutely cherish every tune you hum or sing. If you happen to record them, he keeps it on a device so he can listen to you when he's sad

If this is your unique ability I think he would be amazed since this doesn't seem like weak magic at all. He does wonder if you enjoy crowds a lot since you cause people to join you for a little musical number, but overall he does think it's neat

I would say he appreciates you singing alone more than in a crowd. Ortho, on the other hand, might appreciate your big musical numbers more!

Okay, so I chose these based off what they are usually into, and their vibes (does that make sense?). Some of them were very difficult to nail down (Hoseok and Jimin especially), but I think this is fine.

Namjoon - Take Aim / Vore / High Water

Okay, this eas actually the last one I did, but I'm putting them in oficial order. These three songs are WILDLY different, yes, and don't look very "Namjoon", sure, but! Hear me out!

Lyrically-wise, I believe Namjoon would absolutely LOVE these. The man is a poet, cmon now. These have some gorgeous lyricism and symbolism that I think he'd really appreciate. Sound-wise they are also very unique, but somehow feel like him?

Out of the 7, Joon is the one that has put out the most solo music (including collabs) and the most varied too (in comparison with Yoongi for example, who has also put out A LOT of music, but has a very distinct sound - especially under the Agust D name), so the variety in sound feels right.

Honourable mention to Give because YEAH, it feels like something straight out of Mono.

Jin - Euclid / TNDNBTG

Do you see the vision? I'm thinking about Epiphany and lowkey it fits? The piano, the kinda-hopeful-kinda-melancholic themes? There's something very angelic about it that just fits him so so well.

I actually almost went with Telomeres for him too so there's that.

Yoongi - Bloodsport / Ascensionism / Atlantic

If there's anyone who would be into Sleep Token is Yoongi. Him and Vessel are basically the same person in different fonts. But these three are the most "Yoongi-coded" to me. Gorgeous piano? Check. Interesting song changes/rap? Double check. Heartbreaking sad wet cat lyrics? Triple check. Ascensionism especially is very Agust D, don't you think?

Honourable mention to the Hey-Ya cover and Drag Me Under because those are so so Yoongi to me.

Hoseok - Granite / DYWTYLM

No because I KNOW my man would be shaking his non-existent ass to Granite (Dark Signs too actually). If there's a nice beat, he's all over it. And DYWTYLM - not only is it funky musically-speaking (which is a j-hope staple), I quite like the interpretation of Vessel singing this to himself (in a mirror).

That duality of "Smile back at me // My reflection won't smile back at me like i know it should" SCREAMS Hoseok to me (especially after Jack In The Box came out). We're so used to referring to him as the sunshine boy, and seeing him all smiles and brighter than the sun itself, when in reality there's a lot more in there. We've finally began to see more of him, and I think that inner monologue is just perfect for him.

Jimin - Sugar / The Summoning

Tell me Sugar isn't such a Jimin song. Think about Lie and Filter and Muse and TELL ME Sugar isn't made for Jimin. I dare you. The Summoning too, it's a bit out of pocket but it feels right somehow? Yeah.

Taehyung - When The Bough Breaks / Aqua Regia

Here's the thing. We know Tae likes jazz, and music that is soulful, smooth, nostalgic. And both of these seem right up his alley. I believe he'd really like the Aqua Regia piano.

Jungkook - Missing Limbs / Like That

He's always been the hopeless romantic boy 🥹 All the ballads he has covered?? Yeah, I think Missing Limbs would be a nice song for him. Alternatively, Fields of Elation would be good too? Idk, something about baby Vessel's voice back then that reminds me of JK. The falsettos probably.

(I just remembered and actually - Like That is fire and it feels like something he'd like).

Trolls Band Together

Hello once again, everyone.

At this point, I’m sure you all already know why I’m not as active as I used to be.

But if some of you need a refresher, in Layman's terms, being an adult, with the responsibilities that all comes with being an adult, has left me very busy, and it just caused me to lose interest in Tumblr and only come back for short periods of time, from time to time.

But now, now that the newest Trolls movie, Trolls Band Together, has released, I figured I’d write my thoughts about it.

But before I begin, I must give you all a heads up: There’s going to be major spoilers with what I’m about to talk about, so if you are reading this and haven’t seen the movie yet but still want to see it, if you don’t want the movie to be spoiled, then don’t read this any further. It’s going to have major spoilers.

But, for those who have seen the movie, well, here’s what I have to say:

I loved it.

I loved the music, the animation, the voice acting, as well as the all the new characters and the chemistry between the new and returning characters.

I appreciated that the movie started acknowledging the Bergens again and gave them a more prominent role in the movie after they mostly went ignored for a long time after the first movie, Trolls Holiday, and the first few seasons of TTBGO (even though it and Trollstopia aren’t canon to the movies). Seeing Gristle and Bridget finally getting married and contributing significantly to the plot was nice to see, and cute, I'd say.

I also thought it was cool seeing that Branch also once was part of a band with his four older brothers, and him going through the movie trying to reconnect with them, while difficult for him after they left him in his childhood, was still nice to see, especially with Floyd. It was nice seeing Floyd comfort Branch when he was a baby, and be the most supportive of him throughout the movie next to Poppy, after seeing Branch being the one who always got the short end of the stick for a long time throughout TTBGO and Trollstopia. It really made me smile.

I also liked Camila Cabello as Viva. Seeing the singer who sung Havana voicing Poppy's secret long lost sister, it was cute.

And, of course, seeing *NSYNC appear in the movie and collaborating with Justin Timberlake again after over 20 years, was awesome! Their new song, 'Better Place', gives me the same feeling of joy when I listened to 'Green Light Ride' from Crush 40 when they reunited with the Sonic series after a long break for Team Sonic Racing. It was awesome to hear them back together again in both instances.

I also especially loved seeing the combined band of Branch, his brothers, and Poppy and Viva all singing together for both a remix of 'Better Place' and 'Family', and it made me realize why the film was even titled Band Together, because they were literally banding together!

Now, with all that being said, I did have some issues with the film as well.

The movie's villains, Velvet and Veneer, they felt kinda one-dimensional and shallow. I thought they could’ve spent more time with them to develop their backstories a bit more and make them a bit more fleshed out.

And also, what’s the name of the species of Velvet and Veneer? They never appeared in any of the previous movies, holidays specials, or non-canon shows, and were never implied to or hinted at before, but that we do know about their existence, why don’t the Trolls or Bergens know about them? And also, they have advanced technology that can suck out a Troll's musical talent? And apparently Wi-Fi and social media exists in the Trolls world? What the heck?

Okay, okay, I know most of that doesn’t bother a lot of you guys, but to me, it highlights an ongoing issue I’ve always seen within the Trolls series: Inconsistencies with regards to its world building. I know a lot of you guys have seen it in the non-canon shows, but I also saw it in Trolls World Tour, since that movie introduced Trolls tribes that all have their own unique musical genre. As cool as I thought that was, it also made me think: Do those other musical Troll tribes know about the Bergens? Do the Bergens know about those other Troll tribes?

And speaking of those other Troll tribes, I was also disappointed that they aren’t even seen or mentioned in this movie. It left me very disappointed, since there’s a lot of potential you could do with those other Troll tribes, like make some kind of new evil threat that could threaten the entire Trolls' and Bergens' species, and have all the Troll tribes and Bergens band together (pun intended) to stop that evil threat. That could’ve been awesome!

Oh, and the Snack Pack got reduced to extras, which, like my disappointment with the absence of the other Troll tribes, left me feeling a bit disappointed, since they could’ve done something more with them in this movie.

Other than those things, I really loved the film!

And for all you Trolls fans out there, I think it’s time that I mention the elephant in the room with regards to Broppy.

After waiting over seven long years since the first movie…

And seeing a far away version at the end of World Tour…

Now, unfortunately, unlike with Trolls World Tour, Trolls Band Together is still in theaters, and I didn’t find any leaked screencaps in time for the writing of this review, but trust me, I’m not kidding, this actually happened in the movie!

And I couldn’t have been more overjoyed to finally see it happen officially, front and center, on screen, and made me cheer in the theater!

And I thought I’d let you all know after being silent for a long time!

Because after waiting for over seven years, after all that waiting, I couldn’t be happier to see that the kiss was well worth the wait.

As a big Trolls fan.

Something I wanna say that I really love about all the lads that I don't think gets mentioned very often, I love that they all have some sort of quirk with the way they talk

Like T.C. has that thing where he repeats one word three times for emphasis

Ex: "Go, go, go, men!" "I think I'm gonna be sick. Sick! Sick! Sick!"

Benny has a little bit of a lisp and I FUCKING LOVE THAT MM IT GIVES HIM SO MUCH CHARACTER

Chooch (aside from the nasallyness and the accent) tends to wind out his sentences occasionally and also sometimes ends his questions with 'like'

Ex: "Like perhaps exactly what?" (Not the best example but give me some grace it's 4 in the morning) ( also I don't remember exactly when he does the question thing but he does it for sure)

Naturally we're all well aware of Spook's way of speaking and it's so unique that it's difficult to exactly replicate it without having some sort of beatnik dictionary near you, also I'd like to mention that he also (I'm pretty sure) likes to do this little sandwich type thing (it could just be a one time thing but shhhh it fits him let me have this)

Ex: "Wheels man, like wheels!"

Plus he like, does this thing where he, like, starts slow and then like, speedsuptowardstheend! And he also uses metaphor and simile a lot which like same dawg

Also something I noticed that I'm pretty sure I've posted about before but no one gave a fuck was that his mouth is almost always pretty large on his model despite him never opening his mouth very wide and almost never raising his voice which I appreciate

One last thing, I'm a huge fucking vocabulary nerd and whenever Spook uses more complex vocabulary I'm reminded of that BTS video Leo deLyon narrated where he said that Spook is sort of a pseudo-intellectual where he tries to make himself look smarter than he actually is and tibbiaych I think we collectively need to lean into that more because it's actually pretty prevalent in his character but we're usually all distracted by 'OMGGGG BEATNIK TALK FUCK YEAH'

Anyways enough about Spook, Fancy has this very 'elegant' way of speaking where he speaks very slow and deliberately to the point where he chops up words to make sure he's pronouncing them right/to enunciate them

Ex: "I'm a stranger in town my dear, and I was wondering if you'd direct me to your *aparTmenT*" "Geez, ya don't have to get so PER SON AL" <-- (from BHC) "(that segment of Dibble Sings Again where he's reading out the newspaper to T.C. and Dibble)"

And then of course Brain has his adorable little stutter, in which I'd just like to mention that usually his stutters kind of drawl into whatever word he's saying next, and he never really breaks up a word to stutter, his stuttering is always in between words, also usually he starts a sentence with that lil 'Duhh'

Ex: "Duhhhlet's see, if the big hand is straight up, and the big hand is on nine,uhhh-" "Duhh, somebody tell me what I'm missing! My sinuses is clogged, all eight of 'em!" "Duhh, the treasury report is as follows; quote, 'we are broke.' unquote. (Flat broke?) Well, uhh, no, uhh, we owe the west side bowling alley $4.36, so you could say we're flatter than flat broke!"

Also a few more things about the little lad, he usually has the worst grammar out of the gang, except on the rare occasions where he says something smart and he also doesn't stutter

TLOVM Season 2 Eps 7-9 Ramblings

EP. 7

- I love the Feywild design so much. In general, the distinct designs of each location in this show are amazing, but I really enjoy how well they convey the Fewwild’s unique atmosphere.

- Percy’s such a fucking dork oh my god...

- Oh good. The sword’s corruption is visible to the others now.

- Grog trying to keep the sword sounding a little like Travis’ own frustrations bleeding through. I know he hated not being able to use Kraven Edge to its full potential in game.

- I do not like these jumpscares I have anxiety fuck off

- Garmelie! 

- Scrawny Grog!

- Vax’s anger at Percy... understandable why he feels that way, but I don’t know that I like it. 

- I love hearing more of the cast singing this season. Also turning “Makin’ My Way” into a new song... fucking phenomenal. I need the album for all of the music this season with full versions of everything.

- Also appreciating Scanlan the caregiver. I remember Sam/Scanlan always made a point to make sure everyone else was healed before accepting any himself.

- Garmelie fucking with Percy is my favourite thing.

- Feywild acid trip... I don’t know if this is amazing or terrifying.

- These fights are so fun. I love seeing their more creative battle tactics come to life.

- Percy letting Vax know he has his back even if Vax wants nothing to do with Percy... 

- I also love seeing these villain conversations that we never got to see in the campaign.

- Scrawny Grog is reminding me of Fjord losing his powers and Travis’ struggle feeling useless in the fights they had before he got them back. 

- Syngorn! Time for more Twins backstory.

- Wait, that’s the end of the episode already? Fuck these are too short.

EP. 8 

- Again loving the designs of this place.

- Velora! She’s so cute!

- Ugh. Syldor. Fuck off. Stay on the cute sibling bonding.

- Wilhand! Let’s stay with the Trickfoots for a bit.

- Can we throw Syldor out that window behind him. I hate him so much. (Kudos to Liam, Laura, Matt, and Troy for creating and bringing this character to life in all his despicableness.)

- Was not expecting to see Scanlan shoving something up Grog’s ass... but here we are...

- Percy telling off Syldor and standing up for Vex. And Vex telling him off immediately after.

- “What does fuck you mean?” I wish they had kept the entire sequence of Velora picking up phrases from Scanlan.

- The lighting in this series is so well done.

- I hate watching villains exploit a characters’ insecurities... poor Vex.

- “I can fix you.” SHE’S NOT BROKEN FUCK OFF.

- “My heart is someone else’s.” HELL YES.

- I love fire elemental Keyleth. And also just Keyleth.

- “The Fey Realm is definitely better in the books.” Okay nerd.

- ARTIE REVEAL! Also love that Matt is voicing him. I couldn’t imagine anyone else doing it. 

- “He killed me with them.” Grog backstory next! 

EP. 9

- Boulder, parchment, shears! I love how many inside jokes they work into the show while still making them make sense.

- Scanlan’s red beret! I love the little hat on the little dragonfly.

- Kaylie!

- Grog’s backstory is another reminder of the stark difference between hearing the backstories on stream and actually seeing them brought to life.

- Dark-haired Pike! I wonder if they’re ever going to explain that change now that they’ve shown it.

- “No one wants your damn autograph!” followed by an immediate zoom out to Dr. Dranzel tucking a piece of paper into his jacket. Brilliant.

- Also changing Scanlan’s story a bit so that he was never a part of Dr. Dranzel’s group, but Kaylie is.

- Oh good. Ripley and Umbrasyl are here. This is good. Everything’s great.

- Once again the dragon designs this season are terrifying

- Kevdak’s death is going to be the most satisfying one this season holy fuck.

- I love that Pike pluralizes “Buddies” every time.

- The Tabaxi mother with her baby... my heart...

- Ending on Grog screaming Kevdak’s name. Ugh. Chills. This fight is one of my favourites

GENERAL

- I can’t believe there are only three episodes left and they haven’t taken down a single dragon yet. And yet so. much. has happened.

- Also can’t help but wonder how the two groups are going to reconnect. One of my favourite parts of the Kevdak fight is the use of the locket and Vex isn’t with Grog right now. There’s also a key Scanlan and Vax conversation after this fight that I hope they kept, but could easily be moved to a different time.

- I like the idea of splitting the party for these episodes. I didn’t think I would, but it really helped to get some important parts of the story told concurrently and concisely instead of spread out over the entire season.

what does your muse smell like?

A musk fragrance with acid fruits undertones (tangerines and citrus), fresh and rather strong for the nose. Gabriele likes atypical kind of perfumes, he wears cologne everyday, and the scent lingers on every of his clothes, in his car, on his pillow. It's quite noticeable and unique, as he likes to collect rare items when it comes to perfumes.

what do your muse’s hands feel like? 

They are not the softest and not roughest, it's an in between. He takes care of his hands, cuts his nails and cleans them, but he's a man of the field. They can be a little bit coarse around the palm, near the beginning of his knuckles, and they are strong. On the top, they are venous with a few hair and scars, but they remain quite enjoyable to touch.

what does your muse usually eat in a day? 

A decent breakfast because he needs the boost for the day. He likes the mix between sweet and savory flavors like toasts with ham and cheese, some jam and fruits, fresh and raw veggies, avocados and a good amount of black coffee. He doesn't eat lunches or they are very quick and small, he usually skips them. He prefers to enjoy a good dinner, with a high preferences for Italian dishes. He drinks at least one glass of red wine with every of his big meal.

does your muse have a good singing voice? 

No, not really. His voice is decent, deep and hoarse a little bit, but he has never been a good singer and he doesn't try. He hums the fun tunes he appreciates, otherwise he avoids singing.

does your muse have any bad habits or nervous ticks? 

He tends to smoothen his hair over his skull whenever he feels losing control and he pinches his lips a lot. Frowning could also be perceived as a nervous tick, but it's basically summarizing the fact he's always mentally judging one situation. He does smoke a lot whenever he's under stress, and if he's truly pissed off, he will work out more.

what does your muse usually look like / wear? 

He has a decent wardrobe in general. He carries a lot about his appearance and he will always make sure to take a very good care of his clothes. His style is rather classic, but he collects fancy pieces designed by well-known creators. He always looks impeccable, most of the time, and does his best to pick colors that matches together. He's comfortable wearing tuxedos almost every day, it's truly a habit on his side.

is your muse affectionate? how much? how so? 

Not much, at first, because he's usually pretty cold. He keeps his distance with people, and he doesn't like physical contact with folks he doesn't know.

However, over time, if he gets attached to someone, his affection shows. He's more physically exposing it rather than ever expressing his feelings. He tends to be close from the person he likes, and will seek for a physical contact with them (hand touch, nape touch, bump of the shoulders, a caress on their hair...) If he can't be close, he will always keep an eye on this person.

what position does your muse sleep in? 

On his back, always, with an arm folded under his head to maintain it, and the other one resting on his belly. He has a very light sleep and doesn't move much during the night. He always needs to be able to see the door from wherever he lays.

could you hear your muse in the hallway from another room?

Not when he doesn't want to be heard, he can be very discreet. Otherwise, he has a light pace and very regular, quite easy to spot when you know how he walks.

My newest twst OC is a singer who performs regularly at Mostro Lounge! She's twisted from Ursula's conch necklace and her name is Aria.

She and Azul + the tweels are on good terms, since she used to perform at Azul's mother's restaraunt in the Coral Sea. Technically she's not supposed to be on school grounds because she's not an NRC student but since she brings in $ to the lounge and 10% of those profits go to Crowley... well, he's not stopping her.

Her business persona is a bit like Azul's, but she's more flirty than reserved. On the inside though she's just kind of a sweetheart lol. Likes giving compliments more than flirting. Still, she's willing to do it for the business! Also good at playing dumb, but she's actually quite intelligent and studies magic on her own since the two magic schools on Sage's Island are both all-boys schools rip.

Her signature spell is basically what Ursula did in the movie lol, taking people's voices if they answer a question she asks them after saying her phrase. I don't know if she'd know Jaxon but how do you think they'd get along if they did?

They probably met while she was preforming at the lounge. Jaxon doesn't go there often, but he has to admit they have good sushi. He only really goes there for the sushi. So it would most likely be during one of those times when he's there and she's singing for the lounge.

Jaxon loves music and sometimes sings himself, so he can appreciate a good singing voice. If she ever asked him to preform with her (either singing or as guitar) he would do it. Even though he doesn't trust Azul and the Tweels, just being able to play music is enough reason for him to join in. That being said, he would only join in if he was invited. He's not bringing up the idea.

He doesn't really know how to talk to her though. Jaxon isn't good at taking compliments. Usually, he thinks they're lying or just trying to get on his good side. Flirting with him doesn't really work either. If she flirts with him, he just assumes she's only trying to get on his good side and promptly ignores every flirty remark. He probably likes her more business persona best, even if he does ignore the flirting and compliments.

It's likely that he'll be a bit cautious around her though when it comes to her unique magic. Jaxon doesn't talk much, but he likes singing and does it often when he's alone. Losing his voice would be pretty bad to him. But he's also not going to avoid her because of it. He'll just pay close attention and be very careful when it comes to that phrase or answering questions. He's not going to avoid someone because of their magic.

im a bit scared to interact with the les mis fandom tbh because i do really really love crowes javert. surely he is not my favourite or close to my interpretation of the character, but there’s something... in his performance that is just uniquely his and i appreciate that. from the way his voice contrasts jackmans in ‘the confrontation’ to the authority that he has in ‘one day more’ to the quiet, almost prayerlike version of ‘stars’. i really, really enjoy listening to quasts version of ‘stars’, but there is something about the less bombastic, measured technical and softer version of crowe that just cuts me right in the heart at times. ESPECIALLY the piano version they uploaded after the movie release. 

like if his version of ‘javerts suicide’ was a bit more ‘chaotic’ and if he perhaps had more of a master and commander hairlength and the whiskers i would love him even more but dang do i love crowes javert also the way he is.

& yes i am obviously biased because i love the natural speaking tone crowe has in general but damn i can tell how much he has improved his singing voice during working on les mis because there’s miles difference between TOFOG and the indoor garden party record & ngl im a bit proud of him okay

It's by no means a small thing, the box itself rather large in size, enough that with her small frame she has to hold it with both hands. The wrapping is simple, a matte black with an iridescent sheen that shimmered in the light every time she shifted under the weight of it.

Lacking the skills to bake an actual cake herself, and knowing his distaste for sweets, she had spent the past few months collecting every odd bit of iron and unique metal piece she came across on her travels to gift him instead.

Gajeel turned his attention to Yukine. While they weren't as close to one another as she was with, say, Natsu, or even Gray, they were still friends. So he honestly should have expected her to do something once she found out when his birthday was. He'd loft a brow at the sheer size of the package she was holding, before getting up to help her with it.

"The fuck did ya even get me, Yukine? Ya know I don't usually celebrate this shit, right?"

He was pretty sure the ones who celebrated more often were the ones who cared about it, or had a lot of people who cared about them. He'd likely take the package and set it down somewhere before looking at her with a lofted brow. He hadn't been expecting anyone to care enough to get him something for his birthday. Why would he? Hardly anyone even bothered to talk to him so he was shocked that anyone even KNEW when his birthday was.

Apparition coast

/ Visions / First thing I have to notice while listening to Apparition Coasts’ new album Visions is the amazing production with a crisp acoustic riff and muted background that builds up and explodes into a powerful intro. For me unfortunately something that keeps me from ever giving Alternative and or Pop-Punk bands a chance is a whining voice. It’s just personal taste. However I do enjoy the lead vocals here. A beautiful voice, enough said. Ringtone is a catchy opening song and this is carried throughout the album very nicely! I would mention in passing to Josh and DJ (I had the privilege of playing in CSUCI ensemble with them and worked with Josh for a while) to tell me when they would play live so I could go check them out without having really heard their music. After hearing this album now I really am looking forward to it! Everything about these songs is solid. If you are an Alternative or Pop-Punk fan you will feel right at home here; I am reminded of Four year Strong and Paramore at times. There is so much depth here. You get a short and sweet guitar solo on the second track and the harmonies makes one want to learn the songs and sing along. Listening to the title track Visions one has to appreciate the intricate riff that sound like a Yvette young riff at the beginning. In Vision you get a back and forth between atmospheric soundscape and heavy rock which is jarring but in a good way. The subject matter of visions sounds like things we all go through from time to time so it’s not like the lyrics were just churned out without a thought or feeling. It seems slightly open to interpretation as well in my opinion which will let the listeners look at the same song in different lights. I’m very impressed how modern these songs sound as well, several could honest to god sound natural on a popular radio station. That’s not to say they don’t pay respect to the influences that shine through their playing. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised to see this band blow up! I’m not sure who the main songwriter or writers are but I am extremely impressed. This album may be talking about serious subject matter but it’s lifting me up and energizing me out of my lethargy of staying up too late last night. “Trigger” gives you a classic rock sounding riff hear which just affirms that there’s a little something here for everyone. That has to be DJ the guitar player shredding on his Les Paul because I know he really enjoys classic rock. Some albums I lose interest partway through for various reasons. Here that is definitely not the case. I’m grateful for this album because it’s really showing me how much of a lack of Alternative and Pop-Punk I’ve had these last couple of years. So wholesome, so true. I also heard a twinge of country on one or two of the tracks. This is just a testament to the eclectic music tastes of the members and the result is that they have a lot to say. Don’t get me wrong though this band is unique as any. Speaking of unique: California, PCH (Pacific Coast Highway), and Malibu are mentioned in the song “Getaway” which are beautiful sightseeing areas that you have to see if you’re in California ever. There’s something about a song or band that mentions or represents a place or thing that you love. It makes it more relatable or special I suppose. I may be a bit biased since I know two of these guys who are the nicest musicians you could hope to meet but I don’t care. The production value, songwriting, and instrumentation is just too good; I gotta give this album 10/10 Pizzas

I'm such a Jungkook stan that I'm actually actively trying to help him get to 1B streams on his Spotify account. That was half the reason I finally bit the bullet and got Spotify Premium (that, and the fact that since getting a job I can't use the ad-free, unlimited skips web version as much). Today I even gave the L&R remixes a listen (they aren't bad and actually improve the song in some ways since it feels like there's less CP in them). But something I only noticed today in the Acapella version which I had already heard before, is that CP's "Oh no" verse is autotuned as fuck. You can hear the autotune so clearly it's jarring since the rest of his vocals sound so clean. To achieve that shaky "Oh noOo" Charlie had to use autotune, while Jungkook did it with just his vocals. His verse is not autotuned (at least no more than the rest of his verses), but we already knew that from the recording behind.

L&R doesn't let Jungkook's vocals shine - between his lack of lines, the verses he shares with Charlie, and the way he stacked his vocals during his part, it's hard to differentiate his voice from Charlie's - yet the same can't be said about the Acapella version. Once Jungkook and Charlie's vocals are stripped bare, the differences in their vocal tones and techniques become very clear, and Jungkook very much outshines Charlie: his tone is warmer, richer, more gravely and more unique, his harmonies are more complex, his voice is more versatile, his vocals more varied. That's why he didn't need autotune in his "Oh no" verse. Jungkook doesn't sing in a "straight line" like Charlie. I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure Jungkook applied a lot more different vocal techniques than Charlie.

a/n: this is all i can think about right now, but this is brainrot about deku being a kpop idol! feel free to add more to it! and I can add more parts because this is my favorite thing right now like him during variety shows, seasons greetings, holidays, going back to japan and etc!

trainee

☆ he's a japanese trainee that was the talk of the town. he's got fans and even other idols talking about him. one of the most hardworking trainees. the teachers and fans of other idols in his company seen his determination and cheered for his success. he was accepted into his company at the age of sixteen

☆ he's known for his unique voice, but when he first gotten accepted into the agency, he had two left feet. it was a little inside joke among the fans of the trainees. though the more he trained the better he got with his dancing. he's still no main dancer, but he was becoming more confident in the monthly evaluations.

☆ in fact, he worked so hard to debut, debuted idols of his company when asked about him, recall seeing him through the training room doors practicing late at night. there was no way he wouldn't be on stage if he somehow made a way to korea.

☆ fans from time to time could spot him with his fluffy green hair and tired eyes walking from the convivence store with quick meals and would take a video. if anyone has seen grumpy deku, it's this little and consistent group of fans. a slouched over deku with a baggy hoodie and loose basketball shorts shuffling back to his agency at around noon.

☆ when he first came to korea, he knew very little korean. he was mainly speaking in japanese and found himself becoming close with other japanese trainees. so while he was getting training in singing and dancing, he spent a good portion of his day learning korean so he can be fluent for his future fans. even to this day, he has a pretty thick japanese accent; the fans think it is really cute to hear him speak.

☆ when he found out he was going to debut, he found out the same day as the rest of the kpop world. everyone who was interested in the future of his company's trainees were watching a youtube video that contained a compilation of reactions from various members of his upcoming boy group. the day the video was filmed was the day it was released into the world

☆ debuted in a six member boy group with a cool and fresh concept that everyone seemed to appreciate and is still well received. he debuted at the age of eighteen and is still not the youngest member. the youngest member was seventeen at the age of their debut.

☆ his stage name is deku-- but with fan posts, they still refer to him as izuku. his personality is still the same as it was during any trainee video logs; very cheery and positive. though he's a bit sarcastic and nonchalant when he sees his four dimensional members getting wild

☆ they are absolutely considered monster rookies in their first year of their debut and when you buy their albums, you are sure to get a thick box with every comeback filled with the album, photocards, and a thick little book filled with album credits, lyrics and concept pictures of the members. every music show they are invited to, they win. they only way they won't is if they are competing against a well established idol/idol group.

☆ his company loves to dress him up in breathable, baggy street fashion for live stages and photoshoots. it's rare you will see him in anything that's considered sexy or over exposed. it's not his style either

☆ expect every first of the month for deku to go live and talk about what he did over the past month and encouraging his fans for the rest of the month to come

☆ loves making little vlogs for the fans that he will upload to the groups youtube page every now and then showcasing interesting, new things that his group is doing at the time like going to award shows or traveling for concerts

☆ when final exam time comes for international and korean students, he will film a little vlog of himself studying korean and any languages he wants to learn so he connect with his fans. the fans can watch this or listen so they don't feel like they are studying alone

☆ loves to post pictures to instagram. sadly, you're barely getting any selfies. he's sharing little doodles and what he's eating or drinking. if he is going to post a selfie, he's most likely got a mask on to not be recognized. the other times you can actually see his face is when he is done with a live stage and it's a full body picture

☆ post videos of himself dancing every blue moon for his fans and to track his progress-- the fans eat it up every time and they won't stop talking about for MONTHS

solo debut

☆ when it is time for him to debut on his own-- IT IS SO GOOD. his concept colors for his solo is white and green. imagine this baby in white overalls, white crewneck and a white bucket hat with lime green paint splatters all over the apparel. it's supposed to look messy and fun. his makeup is meant to be a little sexy though. though his eyes are already green, they put brighter green contacts on him and give him a forest green smoky eye. his ears are littered in piercings and his fingers are crowded with rings.

☆ he comes back once every summer with a slightly different but still fresh and bright style. you'll either get a single or a mini album with three to five songs every comeback

☆ his first music show win, this boy is in tears, ruining his makeup and everything. he's thanking his fans in korean and japanese. this is not his last music show win!

☆ his debut dance is so good, people even made a little trend out of the steps he does during the chorus!

☆ THIS-- THIS is when you all get to see sexy deku. everyone knows when it is time for the MAMA awards or the gayo daejeon and daejejeon is when all the idols really show out. he has two outfit changes, one to perform with his group and one to promote his solo. he's got the sexy apparel with his group. his solo is still fun and more interactive with the crowd. everyone is shocked to see him look so different. his aura is darker and more alluring rather than the chipper deku everyone is used to seeing

☆ for award season, he's dancing harder, his hair is styled differently (he probably grows it out), his jaw is more chiseled-- he went all out for this moment, the camera is drawn to him the whole time. especially for his solo performances? the crowd goes absolutely insane, the idols watching all of this commotion are SHOCKED or are dancing with him and the fans. just wait for the videos fans film of other idols jamming to him and his groups music

When he notices the code, he has a bit of a self crisis. He's pretty dedicated to his gym and his goals, so to learn it's all fake is heartbreaking and scary. He's not sure how to proceed, but then he notices you

You guide Hop's little rival around, smiling and eager to battle. When you meet him, you make a few comments towards how handsome and tall and strong he is, and you give him a battle like no other. He's instantly intrigued by you. Who are you? And where do you exist, separate to him?

He watches you go through the world, impressed by your prowess and endeared by your comments towards him whenever you see him. He wants to know more about you, rather than the player

When you're training out in the Wild Area, he approaches and looks up at you, addressing you. He flirts a little, then asks what's going on. Can you tell him? Also. . . are you single? You're cute, you know?

Piers:

Piers notices that the world around him isn't real and has a midlife crisis. He's not real? Marnie isn't real?? What does this mean? What does he do? He's freaking out, but things get better when the player arrives, thus bringing you into his world

You treat Marnie kindly, and appreciate Spikemuth's aesthetic. He likes listening to you, and finds the little songs you sing to your Pokémon when camping and playing with them to be cute. He likes your voice, and realizes you probably have an idea of what's going on

So he approaches you after your battle. He tells you that your voice is nice, admits that he's aware of the state of the world he's in, and would appreciate if you could help explain. You're hesitant, but honest with him, which he appreciates. It's not a fun thing to learn, that he's living in a video game, but you make it. . . interesting.

Leon absolutely hates what he discovers. He's worked long and hard, sacrificed so much for being Champion, and now he gets to learn none of it was real? He's not real? Hop and his family aren't real? He's mad and devastated and doesn't know what to do with himself. He has a minor tantrum in his apartment before forcing himself to calm and meet Hop and his friend

He sees you, shining like the sun in the sky, with a smile warmer than sunshine. He's a little flustered by you, unsure of who you are or what you are. He just knows you coo over his brother and treat the Pokémon so sweetly. He needs to talk with you, to understand all of this

Leon approaches you when you're camping, and talks straight to you. He asks about you, who you are, what all this is. You're understandably surprised, but happy to talk with him. You answer his questions, and when he understands what all this is (a game, it blows his mind), he asks what you plan to do. And you shrug, telling him you plan on doing whatever the game tells you to do, and currently that's taking the Gym Challenge and becoming the Champion, which you plan on doing.

Leon smiles. Looks like he has some competition for once

having an s/o who’s a musician (gn!reader)

Xiao

Xiao would probably never admit it, at least not in the beginning of your relationship because he thinks that it’s kinda embarrassing, but he really admires your musical talent. It doesn’t matter if you play an instrument or prefer to sing; he will gladly take every opportunity to listen to you. There’s just something so calming about your music, and it never fails to make him feel at easy completely. He can’t really but it into words, so he most likely wouldn’t address it but your music is one of the few things that are able to keep him grounded.

He enjoys just sitting there and listening to you, even if you’re trying to learn a new song and keep messing up for a while. Of course he notices that it doesn’t sound perfect at all but honestly, he couldn’t care less about that because to him, it still sounds great. He rarely compliments you about your music, though. However, it’s quite easy to tell that he enjoys it because he always has that barely-there smile on his face when he listens to you.

Whenever Xiao can’t sleep he asks you to play a song for him. It definitely took him quite a while to actually voice his request but after some time, he figured that swallowing his pride was better than staring at the ceiling for a few more hours. It’s almost funny how quickly he dozes off when you quietly start to hum a lullaby why you brush your fingers through his hair but at the same time, it’s the cutest thing you’ve ever seen.

If you decide to write a song for him, Xiao tries his best to pretend that he doesn’t care about it at all but not even he can hide the spark of joy in his eyes. It makes him feel all warm and fuzzy inside that he inspired you to write a song. When you play it for him for the first time, he definitely asks you to perform it a second time because he can’t believe that you actually wrote that for him. Bonus points if it’s his own personal lullaby because that will make his heart melt for sure.

Thoma

Thoma doesn’t know a whole lot about music and rarely has the time to actually educate himself about stuff like that because of his duties in the Yashiro Commission. That doesn’t mean that he doesn’t care about music at all, though. In fact, he really enjoys it because it’s an art form with a lot of varieties, and he definitely admires you for being a musician, especially since he knows that it takes a lot of time, determination and practice to master an instrument.

He definitely feels honored that he’s allowed to keep you company when you practice. It’s a bit hard to focus on your music though because Thoma won’t miss any opportunity to tell you that you’re doing awesome, in his opinion. He can get a bit too excited in moments like this but his compliments are always genuine. There’s no way he’d change that little habit because he just loves to see how your eyes light up when someone says something nice about your music.

To him, it’s the cutest thing how you’re always humming to yourself when you get lost in your thoughts. Also, it somehow calms him down to listen to you, particularly after a long and stressful day since there’s something really soothing about your humming. Sometimes, he likes to rest his head in your lap and asks you to just keep humming because your voice helps him to relax.

Thoma gifts you a pretty notebook or something similar that you can take with you, so that you always have a place to write down new song ideas or things that inspire you. It’s the least he can do to support you and it makes him smile every time when he sees you actually using it. He might even try to come up with some inspirational quite to put on the first page before he gives the notebook to you to make the gift a bit more personal and unique.
