Watching him slink away so quickly after the teasing, Zemo gave a quiet grumbling noise and slunk up after him, getting to his feet. "You'll get burnt eggs if you keep that up," he responded, pulling a housecoat on over his sleeping pants. Making his way out the door, he wandered downstairs and into the kitchen. "Sausages and eggs. Maybe some bacon if the others have left us some."

James tried not to huff at that. “I still am an excellent sniper, just not when firing at you.” He grumbled.

It wasn’t what Zemo was saying but he was feeling oddly defensive about his sniping abilities. It was strange knowing there were comic books out there of him when James didn’t even know who he was, but he stored the information away. At least it would be useful for the future and he already had someone who knew more about himself, when he was ready.

James’ eyes focused on Zemo’s arms for a minute and then to his face, a smile crossing his features. “Yes.” He leaned forward to press a kiss to Zemo’s cheek, but at the same time he rolled his hips ever so slightly to tease the Alpha. He didn’t linger and instead slid out of bed, stifling a smirk. “What’s for breakfast?”

Looking for Ursa right after being banished had some...wildly unexpected results. One: Zuko actually found her. Two: she wasn't alone. Three: leaving her children behind in order to protect them was, apparently, just something she did.

Looking at the bright side, Zuko now had a three-year-old younger brother to look after. Looking at the dark side, Zuko now had a three-year-old kid he needed to parent while also keeping him a secret from his father because—may Agni help him—the Fire Lord would have to go through Zuko first if he dared to even look at Lu Ten II.

(AKA an AU in which Zuko is a good big brother and doesn't want another kid to grow up like he did.)
