✫ He doesn’t want to make you uncomfortable, as in making you feel like you are different than others, so he will do research.

✫ My boy will learn sign language for you (if it’s the way you want to communicate with others), he wants to take the effort to properly have a conversation to you.

✫ When he first met you, he heard that he should avoid mumbling and covering his mouth. If you didn’t catch what he said, he takes his time and will repeat it for you.

✫ Shin will be having conversations with you from eye to eye, he will not see you as something less or as someone that can’t do something on their own. While talking he will keep still, to make it easier for you to understand him.

✫ He will make sure that you are in an environment with not much background noises taking place.

✫ When he got to know you better, at first he obviously couldn’t do sign language, but he will be very excited to show you the new words he learned (such a puppy), you mentioned to him before that he should use gestures and express his body language a lot, so he did.

a/n: it's a mix between random hcs and romantic ones. i didn't had enough to make two posts so i combined them. i hope it's ok :) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

He’s got that “I’m not saying I love you, but I show you” vibe. He’s not great with words, his actions are everything. It’s all about those little moments of softness that catch you off guard.

The definition of "laid-back but intense”. He’s the kind of guy who’ll act all lazy and unbothered but the second he’s in his element he goes hard. 

When he’s with someone he likes, it’s pretty much the same. He can be all chill one second, but if he sees something he doesn’t like or someone giving you trouble? Instant switch to protective mode.

Worst person ever at being subtle, especially if he has a crush. He’s terrible at hiding it. He’ll act like he’s not into you, but you’ll catch him staring. His face is red, and when you call him out on it, he’ll either deny it with a lazy shrug or just say “Shut up” in that grumpy, low-key flirty way of his. He’s just not great at pretending he doesn’t care when he does.

He is so caring but in his own “atypical” way. His way of showing love is not huge nor dramatic (looking at you Kise). He won’t write you love letters or surprise you with roses, but if you’re tired or stressed, he’ll show up with your favorite food. He’ll toss you the bag with a “Here. Eat it. You look dead.” But lowkey, he just wants you to be okay. (and maybe he will sneak a kiss or two.)

Number one tease. Not in a mean-spirited way. He’ll poke fun at you, his friends. But especially when you get flustered or catch you off guard with a random comment about how “cute” you look when you’re mad at him. He’s the type who’ll lightly ruffle your hair or drag you by the hand, claiming it's because you’re "too slow" but secretly, it’s because he loves having you around.

He strikes me as the jealous type. He acts like he doesn’t care, but then here he is sulking like a puppy. Eyes rolling, slowly moving closer to you. He won’t say anything tho, his eyes speak for him. King of side eye. 

LOVESSS physical touch. Not necessarily overly into pda, but people will know you are with him. He has to be touching you in some way all of the time. Resting a hand on your back, lightly holding your hand while walking, leaning his arm around your shoulders when you’re chilling. He’s not overly clingy, but he enjoys having that physical closeness with you. He’s the type to rest his head on your shoulder after a long day, totally content just being near you.

He is competitive, his competitive spirit comes out at the most random times. Like you two are cooking together and all of the sudden it’s a race to see who can cut and chop more things under a certain amount of time. If he does lose however, be ready because he will complain about it for hours, but it's in the funniest, most dramatic way. 

Gives me the vibes of someone who casual flirt, before and during the relationship. “You look good today” or “I swear, you keep getting more attractive” and he is saying so in the most nonchalant way, straight face ever. Because for him it's just a fact.

I’ve seen lots of takes in the buddie side of tumblr and TikTok abt when buddie will go canon. And I have 2 things to say abt it

Before I go on this rant. this is me thinking logically. My thoughts on bucktommy vs buddie has no play in this rant

I’ve seen SO MANY people saying it will happen in the first couple eps. I’m sorry even if Buck and Tommy were to break up in the 1st ep and we never see Tommy again, buddie is still not going canon in the 3rd ep, hell not even this season, because it jst wouldn’t make sense. Cuz 1. Buck still has some things he needs to work out himself and 2. Even tho it took jst a kiss to make Buck realize, it’s gonna take way more for eddie. also were gonna be focused on Bobby and the event and so much more that I don’t think there will be enough space for the to put in a Romantic arc.

And unlike Natalia and buck, it would make no sense for buck and Tommy to break up. (Again not me thinking as a bucktommy shipper but me thinking logically) cuz they actually have things in common and Tommy isn’t obsessed with only one part of buck, he loves him all. So atm there’s no issues in the relationship (I’m not talking abt the name debacle, it’s not confirmed nor denied that buck has a problem w it so not counting it as a issue) so it would make no sense for a break up

And the second thing (Ik long rant srry) Eddie doesn’t need a new relationship. He needs help, professional help. He doesn’t need a gay awakening added onto his catholic guilt and losing his son. He needs therapy. And yeah buddie could be possible if he gets that help. But that means it’s not happening this season, even closer to the end it wouldn’t happen. Cuz yeah eddie can get help and work through his catholic guilt and trauma but it’s still going to stick with him and even if he was the greatest ally on earth, he was still raised in Texas. Those beliefs and things he was told growing up are always gonna stick with him. So it’s not gonna be easy to get him through a gay awakening and it wouldn’t make sense, even with therapy, for him to accept himself like buck did. So if buddie were to go canon it prob won’t be till end next season.

And final thing. Yeah ABC is a very open channel and did allow bi buck when FOX didn’t. But it’s still tv and ABC is still a big (greedy) company and they care abt their views. And while buddie becoming canon would boost the views a bit, it would cause more harm than good to rating and views making 2 of their biggest and hottest characters queer. And to the BoBs saying that they’ll stop watching if bucktommy stays. I would like to let y’all know that they don’t care. You are 0.01% of their veiwers. They don’t care if you leave or stay.

Here’s my take on everything, even tho no one asked:

Yes, it is painfully, horribly, excruciatingly obvious that those two don’t even like each other let alone love each other.

But I’ve seen some people and blogs talk about Danneel physically abuse Jensen, which I just don’t personally believe — each to their own opinion, though — but I just personally haven’t seen any evidence or receipts of that being true. Emotional abuse, yes, verbal abuse, definitely. But physical is something I ain’t gonna say I think is happening.

Danneel’s a bitch, as we all know, as the stans like to pretend isn’t true. But I really don’t think Jensen’s a saint or a victim — and I say he isn’t a victim only because in the end, looking over the financial consequences and the custody of the kids thing that would come with a divorce, she has little hold over him. He has the fame, the money, and what do you wanna bet that all of the Elta followers would do a 180 on their ‘Kween’ if Jensen ever spoke up about anything? And by no means am I suggesting that men can’t be victims before anyone jumps down my throat, I’m just saying that Jensen has the capability to fight back to her or leave her if he wanted to.

But he won’t, because — and I’m bracing myself for the hate I’ll get for this — he’s also kind of a narcissist and a liar!!! 😱😱😱 surprised I’m still writing and wasn’t just assassinated on the spot for saying that lols! Dare I say… he’s just as bad as Danneel in some aspects? That he has pretty privilege? Though not so much anymore since he and Danneel have clearly started doing couples Botox sessions. But I’m trying to focus talking about this con so far — even though I’ve trailed off multiple times already — first of all, ignoring the fact it’s insane that Danneel’s even at a Suoernatural con when her character (which was a nepotism role) wasn’t even in a full season, served no purpose, wasn’t even a likeable character — unless you like vapid, vain, and poorly portrayed characters — and added nothing to the storyline. And yet she gets treated like she’s a main cast member? Half of Dean’s flings who were in half an episode served more to the plot that Anael did in the whole five episodes she was on the show! And it pissed me off that Danneel’s getting the sort of treatment of main cast when Gen’s character was actually important to the plot, yet she wasn’t at the con. Not that I think Gen’s that bothered, which shows the difference between her and Danneel.

And apparently she auditioned for every single female role??? HUH?? Are we talking about the same Ms Gurl who made fun of Supernatural in the earlier seasons, claimed to not wanting to interfere as it was Jensen’s thing, demeaned and made fun of fans on twitter, criticised her own husband’s role and showed doubt of the series duration??? Make it make sense.

I’m kind of relieved Jensen hasn’t shared any of his made up domestic stories of them, to try and make it seem like they can even stand each other, although it would’ve been interesting to see him talk about it with Danneel there — just to see her reaction, cause I’m certain Jensen just makes up these stories as he goes along. But I guess my guy couldn’t even manage that, probably not after how much Elta knocked him down in front of everyone — she barely did anything else other than make jabs at him the whole time. Surprised my girl didn’t go blue from all the snarky remarks she was making.

Oh wait, it’s ‘sarcasm’, right? Silly me, I forgot that ‘that’s how they are with each other’ 😐😐😐 even AA’s have spoke up about her behaviour in this con — shows how much effort those two are bothering putting in to keep up the image. but i think renjun would be a international relations major, not an art major

i’ve been following you for a little while because i’ve been considering getting back into TBHK. it was one of my strongest fixations but i was totally put off by the fandom’s reception of one part of the story until i dropped it entirely.

i thought i’d ask to see if the fandom has changed at all since i was last in it, and you seem really good at analyzing media: what’s your take on the amane/(possessed) tsukasa sa theory? i won’t argue regardless of what your opinion is! i’m just curious to see how the fandom is treating the story now. i miss the series alot ngl

Before I get into this I wanna say thank you for being so respectful, people tend to have very strong feelings in this theory (for good reason, it’s a serious subject) and that can lead to pitchforks whenever it’s brought up. I’m going to try to discuss this as neutrally as possible but I will warn you that I’m very biased. I love Tsukasa as a character and the Yugi twins as a sibling duo so as much as I try to see both sides, I simply don’t want this theory to be true and that plays a large role in how I perceive it

TW: This is going to contain more mature themes than my usual posts. Talk of incest, abuse, sexual assault, sex, trauma, PTSD, and a very brief mention of lesbian fetishization

Starting off with how the fandom as a whole talks about it, people are very against it nowadays. When the anime first came out it was super popular, but now you can’t even mention it without someone telling you never to bring it up again. I have only posted about it once and it was a joke about Tsukasa and Teru both having allegations made against them (tho the Teru ones are way less common and only made by fans who want them to be true bcuz they hate him or ship him with his brother). So far I’ve strayed away from going in depth with my thoughts on it, writing this feels like I’m swinging a bat at a hornet’s nest. If your problem with the fandom was that they denied this theory, then I would continue to stay away from it. People on here are more open towards it than TikTok tho so if you still want to get back into the fandom, I would recommend staying on Tumblr. Someone made ONE post implying it on TikTok recently and the entire fandom was shitting on them for like a week. Those instances are rare, I like the fandom overall, but it has its toxic moments and areas just like every fandom

Okay now onto the theory itself. I’m not going to pretend I don’t see where it comes from, there are some scenes in the manga that are drawn and worded weirdly. Most notably the scene in the Picture Perfect Arc where Mei wrote “Brother Lover” on Amane’s face made me wonder if they were trying to imply something. I have since learned that other translations don’t have the incest implication, but it’s still odd to me that they allowed that in any version. Still, he just looked kind of annoyed as opposed to getting flustered like he would have if something was going on with him and Tsukasa (the way he gets flustered when his feelings for Nene are brought up). So I viewed that scene more as a dark humor joke from Mei, I don’t think it was meant to imply anything serious between the twins

There is another scene in that arc, however, when Nene sees Tsukasa clinging to Amane and Amane does get flustered. He starts blushing and says “um…we were just…” and doesn’t really finish his sentence. This made me raise an eyebrow, but I also wouldn’t take it as confirmation that there’s anything romantic or sexual between them. It could very much be viewed as Amane being embarrassed. I feel that the strongest evidence for the incest theory comes from this arc, but that’s only if you want to run with the scenes I mentioned. I also find it strange that people never use these scenes as evidence, only panels that are drawn kind of weird. Fans seem to be stuck on a lot of early scenes with this theory which weakens its substance

For the record, I will not be analyzing the scene from the anime intro. That has already been debunked, the shadowy figure wasn’t Tsukasa, it was a representation of Hanako’s guilt. Although I disagree with the theory, I’m trying to be fair to the campaigners by debunking the stronger pieces of evidence

The strongest evidence for this theory comes from the art, which is just as important to the story as the writing. With manga and graphic novels, the art tells half the story. It shouldn’t be overlooked, so I understand how some fans lean into it. Look back at the official art I put at the top of this post, it’s weird. Hanako is leaning over Tsukasa while Tsukasa holds his chin/lips and arm. They’re posed like a couple. We would never see the Minamoto brothers posed like that. In other scenes, we see Tsukasa touching Amane’s face or holding him from behind. They’re very touchy with each other, more-so than the other siblings in the series

I have two reasons for not taking these type of scenes/arts seriously in a romantic sense. One is that Tsukasa is simply an affectionate character, and Hanako is the same way. I think it’s more part of their behavior than being specific to each other. Secondly, if it’s intended to be taken in an incestuous way then I genuinely believe it’s fan service. That’s one part I don’t deny, AidaIro have certainly given us reason to believe the twins are like the Property Brothers. I just don’t believe it has any place in the actual story or their dynamic. Fan service is common in TBHK and sometimes it veers into problematic territory. Just look at the scene where Hanako possesses Nene to assault Aoi, and then Kou gets flustered by it and can’t help. A random lesbian fetish scene that is never brought up again and plays no role in the story other than moving us from A to B. I have also heard that there’s incest in some of the other works they’ve made, so it’s not a reach to assume they’d throw in a little fan service for the Yugi twins. How seriously you want to take those scenes is up to you, personally I will continue to deny it until we’re given undeniable confirmation

Back to the twins just being affectionate, we see them act that way with lots of characters. Tsukasa is clingy to Sakura and Mitsuba too, sometimes very suggestively. That doesn’t mean he’s into them. I will say that Hanako is most notably clingy to Nene, someone he’s in love with, but we see him get close and friendly with the other characters too (he sat on Kou’s side and booped his nose during their first meeting). And Tsukasa is the one who initiates their physical affection 99% of the time, Amane’s been receiving it since early childhood so him copying Tsukasa’s behavior makes sense. Romantic relationships in adulthood are determined by the way we interact with our families as children so him repeating these actions in a romantic context doesn’t indicate anything abnormal. In fact, it’s a very realistic portrayal of how our love languages and attachment styles evolve over time

And keep in mind, they’ve been that way since they were three years old, it’s just the way they interact with other people and each other. Tsukasa is a very childish character too, one who has very little concept of personal space and boundaries. So him being a little too clingy with his brother might not mean anything. Again, you could read into it if you really wanted to, but the way he interacts with Amane is nothing out of the ordinary. It aligns with his usual mannerisms, if it were specific to Amane then he wouldn’t act that way with the other characters (Amane was also clingy with Nene before he fell for her). Think of it this way, you don’t see Akane holding Teru’s hand or confessing his undying love to Nene. Characters are going to act differently in their platonic relationships vs. romantic/sexual, and we don’t see that difference with the Yugi twins

A difference we do see with them, however, is that Tsukasa isn’t physically aggressive with Hanako the way he is with everyone else. He never attacks him or tries to hurt him, in fact every time he sees him he gets overjoyed and tackles him in a hug. He has no problem hurting him emotionally and mentally, but we never see any physical aggression between the two. This leads me to believe that the SA theory is invalid, it doesn’t line up with how Tsukasa treats Hanako currently or in any of the flashbacks. If anything sexual took place between them, it would have had to be consensual, because the more solid evidence backing this theory focuses on Hanako’s side of things. He’s very possessive of Tsukasa, and he doesn’t experience a trauma response when they’re touching normally. If it’s an intense scene and Tsukasa is telling him horrible things while touching him, then he freezes in place and starts crying. But when Tsukasa is just hugging or clinging to him, he only gets embarrassed. Hanako does show some signs of PTSD, but that trauma is rooted in him killing Tsukasa. If the trauma were anything sexual, we would see him experience those same trauma responses he displays in violent scenes when Tsukasa touches him in any context. At the very least, we’d see him get way more uncomfortable than being mildly annoyed

(Note: I am aware that not everyone reacts to trauma and PTSD the same way. I do not have any trauma of my own so I am going off what I have heard throughout my life from others sharing their stories. I am in no way trying to invalidate anyone’s experiences, no matter how you react to your abuser your feelings are valid and I hope you get the help you need)

Another common piece of evidence used is that Hanako is hypersexual. I believe this is a serious misuse of the term, hypersexuality is so much more than being a pervert. People who are hypersexual usually think about sex all the time, they engage in excessive sexual behaviors and even think about it in completely normal contexts. This is a common response to many types of trauma, not just sexual. It’s a way for people to gain back control after they’ve been abused, or sometimes it’s a problem that arises from porn addictions or a weird relationship with sex. Even if Hanako were hypersexual, that wouldn’t necessarily indicate SA. He has canonical trauma aside from that, and it could also come from the pent-up frustration of being a middle schooler for 58 years

This is another situation where we have to account for the context. You can’t just take one element of a character’s canon personality and run with it, that’s the leading cause of mischaracterization. You have to consider how that behavior lines up with their other traits. Hanako is an allosexual boy who has been 13 for literal decades. Middle school boys are already one of the horniest species on our planet, it’s an awkward time when you’ve just learned those feelings exist and what they mean but you’re not emotionally mature enough to do anything about it. That usually goes away in the next few years when teens start getting into relationships. Now imagine that feeling staying with you for fifty-eight years. That’s over half a lifetime of being stuck in a transitional period. You have so many strong feelings, but you can’t do anything about them. Not just because of maturity, but because there’s no one to do them with. It makes sense that you wouldn’t know how to act when you get your first girlfriend (not excusing any of his weird behavior btw, frustration is not an excuse and it doesn’t make the way he treats Nene and Aoi okay. But it’s still important to understand his reasons, especially in this context)

I also want to note something I don’t see pointed out often, which is that most of the major scenes of Hanako’s pervertedness occur when he’s talking to Kou. TBHK has a very realistic portrayal of male friendship imo, and this is one of those examples. Having a girlfriend isn’t the only thing Hanako’s missed out on, he also hasn’t been able to make any friends his own age. He’s trying to get Kou to engage in “locker room talk” as a way to bond with him. Whether he’s trying to convince him to share his own preferences, or just wanting to mess with him, it brings them closer in a way. One of the main ways Hanako expresses affection is by annoying people, but I do think part of it is because he wants to be able to talk about hot girls with his only male friend. Sadly, he got stuck with the only middle school boy who respects women

We as a fandom tend to focus on these scenes as “omg Hanako’s a pervert,” or for people that ship him with Kou it’s “aww he’s teasing his boyfriend,” but I think the purpose is more-so to build a realistic friendship dynamic. I find it funny that the fandom as a whole leans more into the teasing explanation whether they ship Hanako and Kou or not, it’s funny to me that we all automatically go with the gay interpretation. But Hanako often uses jokes to cover up his deeper feelings, he acts like he doesn’t care when he actually cares very deeply. So him playing up his pervertedness in an attempt to make friends seems very on brand

My last piece of evidence against this theory is a bit silly and a lot of ya’ll aren’t going to want to hear this but Hanako is most likely straight

I know, I know, I love the bi headcanon too and I think it makes sense, but unlike with some of the other characters I don’t think it has a place in canon. He acts overly friendly with Kou sometimes but if you’re going to assume they’re queercoded, you have to assume the same about Aoi and Nene (both affectionate friendship that look a little queer sometimes). Shipping aside I read them as a purely platonic duo, if there are feelings on either side then it’s more likely Kou since he’s bisexual. Lots of people point out the scene where he flirts with Kou as a girl, and I agree that was gay af but I kinda think he was just trying to mess with him. And keep in mind that the first thing he wanted to do as a girl was look at girls changing in the locker room (yuri yuri lesbian yuri wlw gay gay lesbian yuri)

This isn’t to bash anyone’s headcanons btw, I headcanon Hanako as bisexual and I do ship him with Kou. I’m just saying that I wouldn’t bet my money on him being intended to be bi in canon. In my post about possibly bisexual TBHK characters I included him as an honorable mention, I just haven’t seen enough substantial evidence so far to believe he was intended to be interpreted that way

I’m aware that sexuality isn’t the biggest obstacle for Tsukasa and Amane, but it’s a relevant mention. If Hanako doesn’t like men, I doubt he’d want to be with his brother of all men. Even if he liked men that would be a terrible option. AidaIro have also confirmed in one of their official arts/doodle skits that Nene is Hanako’s first love, which further leads me to believe nothing happened between him and Tsukasa. You don’t get with your sibling if you’re not ride or die about it. And as I mentioned before, anything that happened between them would have had to be consensual in order to be in-character and line up with the evidence surrounding the incest theory

Lastly, I do believe the love between the brothers is somewhat genuine. It’s horribly toxic, Hanako left Tsukasa in some sort of void for decades and now he continues to keep him around as a yorishiro despite knowing it makes Tsukasa miserable. He loves him so much that he can’t let him go even when it would be good for Tsukasa. That’s selfish, it’s toxic, and on Tsukasa’s side things aren’t much better. He adores his brother but he also resents him for everything he’s done. He hurts him emotionally and attacks his friends. And, of course, Amane killed Tsukasa. Not exactly Brother of the Year

But through all of this, you can’t deny that the love is there. Fans who believe Amane hates Tsukasa kind of miss the point, Tsukasa wouldn’t be Amane’s yorishiro if he hated him. He loves him dearly but in a very complicated way. Adding romance or lust to that love frankly doesn’t make sense to me, it’s adds an unnecessary layer that doesn’t line up with the rest of their dynamic. It feels like a “yes and” to their story. I have read analyses that explain both sides, and ultimately I remain against this theory

I hope this helped you understand my perspective!! I tried to be fair to both sides but as I mentioned, I’m very biased. This is a very uncomfortable subject so it was difficult to write about, but I like tackling more complex topics. I don’t block people who believe this theory unless I dislike the way they talk about it, some people insist it’s canon to the point of hating Tsukasa for it or saying the series is bad. But for those that are more open-minded about this theory, I don’t mind interacting with them. In general though this is something I try not to think about lol

A deep chuckle could be heard erupting from the depths of the Demon King’s throat, “as expected from you. Very well then, you have earned yourself a week of rest.” He says, as you softly smiled to have pleased your king.

But again and again, one is not pleased by this. Akaza’s fists were brutally clenched as he hears this for thousands of times already. No, that shouldn’t be you. That should be him. He’s supposed to be Muzan’s favorite, not you. How dare you try to steal his spot when you’ve only become an uppermoon for just half a year? No. He won’t allow this. You? An uppermoon 4? Beat him? An uppermoon 3? No no, he won’t allow this. He will never allow this.

“Akaza, I assume you have something good to report to me?” Muzan looked at a wall, knowing Akaza was behind it. Muzan’s deep, demonic voice sent shivers down Akaza’s spine, and yours too.

“Y/n, you’re dismissed.” A part of you wanted to stay and say something, but your entirety would end if you do so.

“Hm? Anything else?” Muzan asked, no — demanded you to tell him why you’re so hesitant. After all, he knows everything about his creations. From the physicality, to the mentality.

“Um... If I may be so bold to ask, master.. May I request a favor?” As Muzan’s gaze transferred down towards you, shivers crawled up to your spine, as you gulped down the lump forming in your throat.

You sat on top of a tree, in the middle of the night. You were quite happy and relieved that Muzan had accepted your favor, but didn’t know if he had obliged it.

As the wind softly hit your face, you spotted a certain someone below. It was none other than Akaza, looking as happy as ever.

Akaza started to take his top off, revealing all the muscle and the chiseled body he was hiding behind that cropped sleeveless haori.

It seemed like Akaza was happy, and that Muzan didn’t hurt him at all. You were glad when Muzan really obliged your request. Huh. The perks of being the favorite.

You watched Akaza as he trained, his muscles flexing at any given angle. And you sure were enjoying the show.

“Gonna keep watching?” Akaza suddenly asked, causing you to blush profusely as you were caught to have been enjoying his training session quite a bit too much.

“Just so you know, I’m not dumb enough to not see you from up there.” Akaza’s tone quickly changed to one that’s too hostile, one that immediately made you lose all the red in your face.

“N-No, Akaza-san, I-I’m only just-” A stuttering mess you are, but Akaza paid no mind to it and cut you off.

“Just because you’re Muzan-sama’s favorite, doesn’t mean that you’re any better than me. Remember this; I am uppermoon 3, and you’re only uppermoon 4.” And with that, Akaza left. God, he was so fucking hot when angry. That’s how down bad you are for him. You didn’t even pay mind with how he indirectly insulted you, only thinking of ways to get him to atleast see you as a comrade, not a foe.

And you just so happened to know the best way to do that.

Unknowingly to Akaza, you purposely made yourself suspicious for the past few days just for him to keep an eye and follow you around.

And, when the day comes, Akaza, after losing you from his sight, stumbled upon an open field. Not just any open field, but an open field full of blue spider lillies.

You knew how much this means to Akaza, especially when he has tried his very best to look for these. You sat down in the middle of the bloomed blue spider lillies, one that looked like a goddess, more like a human than a demon. You were just too beautiful to be a demon.

You felt Akaza’s eyes lay on you. He had never once, in fact, see a woman this beautiful up until this day.

But no, he sees you as a foe — he must see you as a foe. Even if you wanted to be comrades, friends, or even more than that, he must not allow it. No, it’d be ironic anyway for a demon as evil as him to learn how to love.

Perhaps his hatred toward you was just only for the reason that you were Muzan’s favorite. Yet he only looked at you that way, believing you were as evil as the others to even dare take his spot when you know being Muzan’s favorite was the goal he always wanted, yet failed to reach.

But no, you were not like the others — in fact, you were far more different than them. So different that he has started to see you in a new light.

“Akaza-san, what are you doing here?” You asked and tried to act clueless, looking up at him with eyes that were a thousand more beautiful than hundreds of stars combined, as the galaxy reflected on your sweet, sweet eyes.

Akaza walked closer to you, and silently asked, “How did you find these?”

“Well, I frequent here.” You lied. You know yourself you literally took days, weeks, or months, even going as far as to neglect Muzan’s assigned missions to you.

Then, the silence longers. You only stared at each other’s eyes, whilst admiring how the fresh wind hits the both of you gently.

“The moon has set.” You suddenly said, looking up behind Akaza to look at the moon more clearly, the moonlight shone and sparkled before you, serving as spotlights for the both of you as if you’re the only ones that exist.

Silence lingers once again, the tension has become quite too awkward for the both of you. Your relationship has always been like this. But, there was a change. Right now, Akaza’s once hatred-filled eyes turned to one of admiration.

One that finally admired you in a way of finally seeing the real you, not the you he expected you to be. It seems, that Muzan has changed his perspective of you, his thoughts of you, and even the way he feels about you.

There’s just something about you that he can’t get over with.

Maybe it’s because of the fact that you still help him despite his growing and obvious hatred for you, or maybe because your smile tells him there’s more to it than what he thinks...?

Either way, you smile widely and shiny as the moon when you could see the change within him. Maybe, just maybe, will your feelings get reciprocated?

“Well, I led you to it.”

It was cold, yet the feeling of being close with each other was warm enough to know that everything’s fine and comforting.

Then finally, Akaza gave in, as you almost stumbled on your own, Akaza grinning the shit-eating wide grin he had ever done.

You huffed in annoyance, but that didn’t stop you from finally getting in the restaurant, mouth gaped open at how fancy it looked on the inside, rather than outside. Then, a much more eye-catchy thing caught your attention.

“Look, ‘kaza! Don’t these foods make you hungry at all?” You exclaimed as you had finally entered the restaurant along with Akaza, looking at the menu.

“You’re a demon... how come human food makes your mouth water?” Akaza looked at you with disbelief, as you wrapped your arm around his arm, whilst you looked up and smiled at him, “well, any food is delicious!”

“Whatever. Muzan-sama only gave me ¥300.” He said, jingling the bag of coins he had, “well, that’s more than enough! See! This one only costs ¥100!” You pointed at the food displayed on the menu as your eyes sparkled in delight.

“Pleasee, ‘kaza?” He swears, that he’s only paying the precious money for you to stop begging like a child, not because you looked so fucking cute looking up at him with those sparkling eyes of yours.

He glanced at the coins one last time, before handing it to the chef. As you squealed silently in joy, you pulled him on a seat near the window, admiring the beauty the city lights held at night from the 2nd floor. It were like huge stars in front of you, sparkling against your eyes.

Being a demon was, well, hard. Everyone loathes you, those demon slayers are after your head, and no one will ever be by your side. But luckily, you have Akaza. And admiring a peaceful scenery such as this one makes you forget even for a moment that you were hated by the whole world.

“Akaza-san... what if we were humans instead of demons?” You suddenly asked, as Akaza’s attention was now on you.

“Why ask?” He too, looked at the lights shining below. And then, he had finally realized the answer.

“Light may be beautiful. But darkness has its own beauty too. We are immortals, stronger than these humans.” Akaza answered nonchalantly, but he too, wondered. If he never became demon, would he even ever get to meet you?

“...Right. Aren’t we also like humans now? I think this is what humans call a ‘date’.” You softly said, as you looked around you, everyone was being lovey-dovey.

Akaza turned his head away, trying to hide the forming pink in his face. You only giggled, as the food has been served.

A stroll in a peaceful, starry night on a windy open field hand in hand with someone. More so, this someone who you had always long loved.

“The stars are so bright, aren’t they, ‘kaza?” Akaza only hummed in response, looking up too at the stars that formed hundreds of constellations.

“Say, why did you suddenly like me, ‘kaza?” You asked, as you sat down on an open field, where the blue spider lillies last bloomed.

“Just... fate I guess.” He sat along with you, your fingers still intertwined together.

“Hmm... fate you say... then does that mean we are fated to be together?” You asked and looked up at him hopefully, but Akaza didn’t answer. He was left silent, nor did he even bat you an eyesight. He couldn’t answer, or perhaps he didn’t know the answer.

A soft sigh left your lips. He was still the little tsundere you have always loved, and still love. So, you took the first move.

You cupped his cheeks on your hands, and leaned in. Akaza was taken aback, but he too, returned the affection you had given him.

Being breathless was an understatement. You feel like you could die. The feeling was way too good to even think of anything else. You couldn’t even have the chance to think that Muzan could have witnessed this public display of affection.

“...Why did I make these demons again?” Muzan asked himself, as he could feel himself combusting at the ghastly scene in his mind, lovey feelings flowing through his veins. He couldn’t continue on what he was doing now.

I think you mentioned somewhere on this blog that you view the whole "Aemon/Naerys love affair" thing as Aemon more so having an obsessive unrequited love for his sister that Naerys was aware of and while uncomfortable with it, quietly tolerated it. Could you expand more on that?

Hell yah dude! Honestly my take on their relationship dynamic isn’t really new, it’s been something I’ve seen kinda circulating the tumblr fandom for a while but basically:

Instead of the standard tragic doomed love story that seems to be what grrm maybe intended for Aemon and Naerys, the idea is basically that there wasn’t much of a secret relationship between them but instead something way more horrifying.

Aemon’s in “love” with his sister in the way that he’s obsessed with the idea of her being a paragon of purity. He wants to see her as just his sister, but because of the family dynamic he was brought up in and the religion he was raised with, there’s no… Normal way of really loving Naerys. He wants her to be a pure septa just as much as she wants to be, but he also can’t help but see her as the wife he could’ve had, which leads to a bunch of complicated feelings he’s grappling with, which also brings in a bunch of guilt when we remember he’s sworn to the kingsguard and is actively protecting her primary abuser. So sure, swearing to the kingsguard meant that he won’t be sent away from her side, but it also means he has to be constantly close and fully watching as Naerys gets hurt which is a…..veryy very interesting choice dare I say-

Naerys meanwhile does love Aemon as her brother, because in all honesty he’s really all she has that is normal in their nightmarish family dynamic. He’s supposed to be her normal brother, the pillar she can lean on, the one that loves her like family and doesn’t hurt her. He’s her safe haven because he’s supposed to not want her for any ulterior motive. If he wasn’t, if he was openly pining for her, it would shatter that trust and may completely destroy Naerys because then she doesn’t have anyone else to turn to. And the thing is, I don’t think Naerys is an idiot- over time she probably started to realize just why Aemon cares for her so much, but the thing is he never openly admits it so she doesn’t either, a sorta “if we don’t talk about it then it doesn’t exist” kinda deal. It horrifies her, but she tries to ignore it. She still acts like Aemon’s her normal brother despite actively knowing his feelings for her because she’s just plain scared of admitting that there is no normal familial dynamic to be had in their family.

Granted, this is most definitely not canon, most of it is just my psychoanalysis of the whole situation just because I think it’s interesting! It’s not that the “tragic love” story isn’t good or anything, it’s just not as interesting to me personally. When it comes to tragedy, it’s neat having a small element of psychological horror and that’s absolutely a theme I love sprinkling in when it comes to the Targs because there’s just so much more potential when it comes to that! That is just my opinion tho <3

from the short “synopsis” it’s easy to tell why turtles are going 👀 over it. not surprising that ZZ may have seen this at some point, knowing how far and wide his interest in film is. tho this was released in 2013, it may not be the exact year he watched it, and i’m seeing comments that it was available on bilibili before but was deleted.

you KNOW i’ve been a toothy villain fan since day one and i really fucked with this episode oh my god the fight sequences in this show have been my favorite part

POOR Jecki though i am devastated!!. reader is ofc always a self insert (not myself but just in general for most readers lmfao) but beyond appearances i think that reader would be more “tomboyish” (in personality/nature and physical self portrayal) bc of her experiences with sexual trauma and androphobia which can really detach oneself from feminity. of course, that is not the case for all female survivors of sexual assault. coping with something as traumatizing as that can manifest in many forms.

like idk why but reader wears leather jackets—a black vintage worn leather jacket and she drives a beat up toyota sedan.

natural hair, natural makeup or no makeup, and yeah. maybe a bit androgynous looking too, i feel like simon would be into that LMFAO (i honestly feel like he’s into anything tho he definitely gives me pan vibes)
