is it just me or did season 5 ep 8 soldify that it wasn't a plan? like in the manga, you think that way bc there's only sm art can show. but the anime, dazai sounded genuinely devastated. his expressions and the way his voice was so strained at the end of his speech. i don't think there is a plan, he had no choice but to kill chuuya because he thought it was the only way to get rid of dostoevsky and save the world from him. his voice sounds so similar to when he sounded when odasaku died, just so unbeliveably devastated.

SOUKOKU SEASON 5 ANALYSIS
"Dazai never directly says what he wants. He always gets someone else to say it for him." -Kunikida
Very rarely do we ever see Dazai express genuineness to someone he cares about, ESPECIALLY when it comes to Chuuya. The only time Dazai is genuine with Chuuya (excludding post corruption) was when he postponed the end of the world in order to know if Chuuya wanted to know if he was human or not. So, when Dazai learns about Chuuya's vampirism, it's not out of character for Dazai to show him genuine feelings, since Chuuya wouldn't be conscious.
Except... He knew Chuuya was never a vampire.

So what do these scenes mean?
The genuineness of Dszai's speeches aren't tactically necessary, because he didn't HAVE to act like he cared just to convince Fyodor. Fyodor would have been as convinced if Dazai was also pretendung to see Chuuya as a tool. (Infact, Fyodor might have been more convinced that Dazai was protecting his partner by PRETENDING not to care).
But none of these speeches were for Fyodor. These speeches were too geniune.
Dazai didn't need to have actual flashbacks on their youth just to convince Fyodor. He didn't even have to mention that he and Chuuya, at times, bonded. These lines were unnecessary for their escape.
And then comes the biggest kicker. "Come back to me."
. . .
It's been established that Dazai didn't need to say these things in order for their plan to go well. It also wouldn't make sense that Dazai was saying these things in order to tease Chuuya (He literally reminisced on flashbacks, which Chuuya couldn't know about). The only other option is that he was being sincere.
The issue is, that Dazai never directly says what he wants. "Anything I want gets lost in the end." (Paraphrase)
But based on his actions and speeches, it seems like what Dazai is saying, is that he misses Chuuya.
The line "come back to me" no longer means "come to your senses", but "be apart of my life again."
The sad look he directs at the cieling when thinking about their youth no longer means that he's upset that Chuuya will die, but that he misses what they had.
Other lines like:
"We used to do this all the time." (Helicopter scene) Dazai once more looking back on their past.
"I've spent the past 7 years thinking of ways to kill Chuuya." (He says to Sigma) This line in particular is peculiar because Dazai figured out his weakness ages ago (poison). This just proves that he thinks about Chuuya.
Everything he says is geniune, yes, but has a second meaning to it aswell. Which, again, I highly believe is him saying that he misses Chuuya.
So what is Chuuya's reaction to this? Well, nothing. He treats Dazai the exact same way. Which completely makes sense.
He may be able to figure out Dazai's motives. But when it comes to what Dazai thinks about Chuuya, Chuuya couldn't be more oblivious. This is seen in the 15 arc, where Dazai was manipulating Chuuya to be his dog in the Port Mafia. Later in the dungeon scene when they're 22, Chuuya fell right into Dazai's manipulative trap.
Chuuya's great at picking up ques from Dazai when it comes to fighting an enemy. When Dazai's attention is directed at him, however, he's just as easy to misinterpret Dazai's intentions.
#soukoku#hope this theory makes sense#not exactly a unrequited theory#more like a they both care for each other but their love languages are so vastly different that they don't realuze it#what im saying is that they're idiots#dazai osamu#nakahara chuuya#bungou stray dogs#bsd#bungo stray dogs

I have some questions. What would happen if Fyodor got killed by a pregnant woman? Would he be pregnant? And would the kid have his DNA or the mom's DNA? Or since Fyodor is a man would the kid just die or smth?
And he got Bram's height since he fits his clothes perfectly. But he didn't keep Bram's nails. So how exactly does he pick what he keeps and what he doesn't? Or are you telling me Twinkyodor was as tall as Bram fucking Stoker?
And what would happen if 2 people kill Fyodor together? Like they both give the final stab or smth. Does he possess the both of them? Does he pick which one he possess? Is it random? Does he not possess any?
And if he's killed by an ability user, does he keep the ability the said person had? Like, if Chuuya kills him does Fyodor get For The Tainted Sorrow? WILL FYODOR BE ABLE TO USE CORRUPTION? You know what? Not gonna risk it. Keep Chuuya away from the rat man.
Also, Dazai doesn't have to kill him. He just has to touch Fyodor as he dies or the person that kills Fyodor. And I personally think that Fukuzawa deserves to kill the rat.
And about Genshin-Impact-Fukuchi. Sskk will defeat him. How? Easy. They're also gonna forme a singularity. Actually, I think they already did. When they fought Ivan and Aku gave Atsushi Rashōmon while Sushi was using his ability. Is that a singularity? I dunno. Will I act like it is because based on how shit is going right now it makes sense? Yes, of course.
Dazai also said at some point that these two will create a singularity. I don't exactly remember when but I think it was in Beast light novel.
So Singularity Sskk will defeat Tripolar Singularity while Skk defeats Fyodor.
Or even easier! They get Ayatsuji to kill Fukuchi. He just has to move his ass to the airport, look at him and go like "You didn't respect the law." Or smth like that and boom! No more Fukuchi.
He can't kill Fyodor tho because then he's gonna become Fyodor and we don't want that.
Kinda a theory. Sigma said that Fyodor seemed to be the same age in the memory (when he first met Bram). And now after taking over Bram's body he looks the same. So what if this is the age he had when he first died? And I think the said age was 33 because that's how old Jesus was when he died.

Gogol character analysis: The Maddening Paradox of Free Will
I recently did an analysis of Gogol and Chuuya and how they explore the idea of freedom and control so differently, but i wanted to make a more full length version for Gogol original: here
Gogol's motivation is one of the most interesting I've ever seen, he takes a concept like wanting freedom, which is a very common motivation for protagonists and hero's. And twists it to be the complete opposite, where he views his emotions, and morality itself as a prison which he desperately wants to escape
Gogol is essentially trying to prove that there is no actual limit on what a human being is capable of doing, that the restrictions of society are just a cage that he can escape from to be truly free.
"No human could melt someone's face with acid for no reason." "No human would be willing to help destroy the whole world." "No human would willingly work for a demon." "No human could ever kill their only friend in the world."
That restriction is what drives Gogol to do so many awful things, he wants to prove that humans are capable of it. To him, we are all trapped in this cage of what we can and can't do, taught to us by our parents and teachers. The illusion of right and wrong. He wants to break free from that and truly be free as a bird.

And at first Gogol thought if he could over come the fundamental instinct of all living things, too survive. Then surely he must be truly free. But a key realisation changed his mind at the last minute.
Gogol tries to act the opposite from how a regular person would in any situation, his mad jester persona is a really good example of that, "Who in their right mind would dress like a clown and parade around giving the enemy quizzes and telling jokes?"
And this is why he chose not to die, it is human instinct to end your own suffering, so surely since his quest for free will was causing him so much suffering, (We know he felt extreme guilt over hurting those politicians), if he was just trying to escape that guilt and pain once and for all, it would prove nothing.
He looks so genuinely sad here, he clearly wishes he could go back to living a life of blissful ignorance, and not be tormented by the bars that surround him. But dying in that cage would mean nothing to him, so the act of dying is not enough to break free.
So if he can't prove his free will by taking his own life, then how can he. He needed to do something so unimaginably irrational, which would hurt him so much without any benefit to him, that there was no way it was simply instinct or emotion. And that's where Fyodor comes in.
I believe Gogol agreed to work for Fyodor because he was the epitome of everything Gogol hated in this world. He is the master of manipulation, so surely if Gogol could break free of his manipulation, he could break free of the prison in his own mind right? And on top of that. What sane person would agree to help the very thing they despise most?
But Gogol found something he didn't expect in Fyodor. Understanding, something no one else had ever had. a person to easy the loneliness of his mission, his first and only friend.
Killing Dostoyevsky, the only person who ever understood him and the only person he considered his friend. He would gain nothing, he would have to live with the crushing guilt and loneliness for the rest of his life, it would be the worst possible thing to do, so much worse then dying. It would the last thing any sane person would want.
Gogol's character so so incredibly interesting, I can't wait to see his backstory and find out what he has planned in the future.

Episode 61 BSD spoilers ofc xoxo
I know a lot of people are upset at Fyodor's death this episode, but can we all just remember that this was probably one of the better options that could have happened of all the options?
I always knew that Fyodor would die - it was just a definite thing I had in my head. He couldn't stay alive like Fitzgerald, that's not the way his character is. He's too much of a danger to everyone else when he's alive. I thought this was a pretty great ending to his life, it's not perfect but it is? I don't know. Something about burning in the flames and succumbing to them in the vehicle you were supposed to escape in after being fooled by a cheap party trick.
For all the people saying "But Fyodor's the smartest character in BSD! How could he be fooled by Chuuya just pretending to be a vampire?"
May I remind you of the fact that Fukuchi fooled Ranpo? You know, the one who's known for never being wrong and solving things like this constantly? Because even when Mushitarou used his ability, the same ability that has hidden thousands and thousands of esteemed criminals with deplorable crimes to their name, and not one person has been able to find them, Ranpo was still able to solve it with only a few clues.
Yet due to his unwavering trust and faith in Fukuzawa, that led to him being completely oblivious to Fukuchi being Kamui. He didn't think that he'd need to look beneath the surface level, because Fukuzawa trusts him so much. He never thought that he'd need to look any further.
The same goes for Fyodor and Chuuya.
Fyodor isn't the smartest character in the series, nor is he meant to be! He's simply just one of the smartest. He can still be outwitted by the rest. Not everyone can win everything every single time. Eventually, no matter how good you are at chess, someone else will beat you.
Anyways lol.
We don't even know how Fyodor got Chuuya to Meursault, or how he had proof that he'd turned him into a vampire. Of course, it will all be revealed soon, but disregarding that for a second.
Chuuya has broken into Meursault after Fyodor tells him to, mowing down all the guards and killing them all and saving Fyodor's ass from getting shot or being thrown back into jail. It all adds up in Fyodor's head so far. Chuuya says nothing, only growls, hisses, and screams. Typical vampire. (Other than his weird yowl LMAOOO)
Nothing is fishy to Fyodor yet. Chuuya is helping him and doing as he says. Then, they both get almost drowned by Dazai. Again, this is all pointing to the fact that he is not on Dazai's side if Dazai is actively putting him in his plans to kill Fyodor too.
Fyodor assumes that their bond is shallow and fragile, easily breakable if he presses down hard enough and severs the knot, which is what hes trying to do. He teases Dazai because, in his head, it's a one-sided relationship in SKK.
Fyodor doesn't understand human emotions well. He sees people as pawns and is not afraid to use them to get what he wants. But he is different from Dazai in the way he thinks about them. He dislikes humans; he thinks they're sinful and boring and a waste of his time, whereas Dazai thinks humans are fascinating and complicated and wonderful. Fyodor does not see the appeal. Which is what separates him from Dazai. Fyodor uses the people around him until he has no use for them anymore, tossing them aside. He has no regard for their feelings, and anyone he associates with he automatically tries to see what he can get from them and what he can do with them. Dazai does not. Dazai uses people as a means to help the Agency, or to save someone else, or to get information on how to not let the fucking world end, and the character development is wild.
Dazai used to be much more like Fyodor than he is now. He was cold, ruthless, and heartless back then. Whilst Dazai still sees no point in living and wishes to die, and he sees no point in anything, he has still grown more compassionate and a lot more self-aware and he has become capable of more emotion and wanting to save people thanks to Oda. Yes, he still doesn't really care about much, but he genuinely does care about those closest to him and saving and protecting them.
That is why Fyodor couldn't understand - he didn't know just how much trust Soukoku had between each other. He underestimated the bond between them. How much they rely on each other, and always have, for seven years. He thought he had Chuuya under his thumb this entire time, but Chuuya had bested him and tricked him.
This also just goes to show Chuuya's intelligence that a lot of people seem to forget. This type of shit will come easy to Chuuya - he's a Mafia executive for a reason, God damn it. He can lie, he can manipulate, he can be sly and cunning and discreet and careful. He's not a fool, he knows how dire this situation is. And so of course he's going to put his all into a completely fool-proof performance. He literally fooled us, and we're the ones shouting at Dostoevsky for underestimating Soukoku's bond.
But see? This is precisely why this was a suitable "death" for him. (I'm only saying "death" in quotes because you never fucking know with this series.)
Burned in the flames of hellfire as he perishes with the thought that he was completely beaten.
I made a post a while ago about how Fyodor's downfall was going to be how he thought he was too untouchable, how everything is simply but a trial for him and how he is the messenger of God, forcing his will onto other people and just spreading what is God's plan to wipe the world of sinners. How cocky he gets in his own way about his intelligence. How he underestimates, undermines and belittles the people around him because he genuinely thinks that they're worth nothing more than a pebble on the ground to him. He has no empathy or compassion that we've seen so far. He tricked Sigma and stabbed him with absolutely no remorse despite them being in the DOA together. Nikolai was happy to see him out of prison, and he pretty much just blanked him and went straight to the topic at hand, despite apparently having all the time in the world to kill (not really he needed the antidote not to die tbf lol). His downfall was the very thing that sets him apart from the others and typically gives him the upper hand - lack of regret, compassion or empathy or remorse. He was prepared to (and did!) kill children. He lobotomized two people. He manipulates everyone.
I really don't think that Fyodor's story is over at all, but I do think he's actually dead. Maybe not though. As I said, you never fucking know with this series.
Anyways. My point in this post was the fact that whilst we're all upset about his death (well, not all?), it was suitable. You can't complain about BSD not having the balls to kill off any characters, and then when it does, complain that a character has died. Or that "Well, it should have been somebody in the Agency." And what logic would that bring to the table? What would an Agency member dying accomplish? Atsushi is the protagonist, so he's off the table. Things would be very fucked up if Yosano died because then none of them could survive the shit they get themselves into. We don't know enough of Kunikida's history for him to go, plus he's the next leader of the ADA, plus his story is not finished, plus it wouldn't give us anything but grief if he was to die. If Ranpo died, that would also be a big no no, because it would only possibly send Fukuzawa into some sort of corruption arc, and it would crumble the foundations of the Agency, considering he and Fukuzawa are the two founders and he was the first member, and the Agency was made for him. Kenji, I don't see any point in killing our guy off. Leave him alone <3 Kyouka, maybe. She seems, I guess, slightly reasonable. Give Atsushi something more to fight for. Give him reasons to go feral, give him something to be absolutely fucking distraught about. But after that... then what? What would her death bring but grievances to Atsushi? Tanizaki, also no point in killing him off. They'd lose a valuable ability that could get them out of so much shit, Asagiri wouldn't kill him off like that, especially when we hardly know anything about him.
And for people saying "Dazai should have died instead."
That would be really fucking unreasonable - we still have far too many unanswered questions and loose ends. Atsushi would lose his mentor and obviously not handle it well. What about Akutagawa? Kunikida? Chuuya?
Dazai is such an integral part of BSD and an integral part of Atsushi's life - my one hope whilst waiting for the newest episode was that Asagiri wouldn't kill Dazai because there was no logical reasoning behind it. Yes, it would cause some great angst, but if he died, it would have actually just been the turning point for this conflict to get worse. Fyodor would have escaped, and then what? The world would have been wiped, because I guarantee you even if that wasn't Fukuchi's plan, it sure as hell was Fyodor's and he gets what he wants. If Dazai had actually genuinely died, what happens to Chuuya who has to look at his partner's lifeless body in front of him and is like "I did that." If he was a vampire through this and came back when Aya pulled the sword out, imagine what the fuck would have happened when he saw what he'd done. We all remember him going absolutely fucking feral and off the rails in Beast, and he hadn't even killed him there. Chuuya comes to, looks at the gun in his hand, looks at the dead partner of 7 years in front of him bleeding out. My safest bet is that he'd use corruption. But, Dazai is dead. He can't nullify it. Fyodor is escaping on the helicopter. Sigma is still in that room unconscious. Nikolai is doing God knows what he can teleport and shit. Chuuya unleashes corruption, destroys himself and the building, and Fyodor is far away and so is Nikolai, and Sigma is caught in this wreck. That's three important characters all killed in one swoop, whilst the "bad guy" escapes and is free to enact his plan without them hindering it.
?!
I'd rather not see that ending of BSD I can't lie to you <3 (However, I do want an angsty SKK scene of Chuuya going batshit insane at realising what he's done whilst he's been controlled and used as a puppet which is fucking awful for him... maybe I would like to see a little snippet of what this world would be like. Anyways.)
Sorry this got SO off-topic.
MY POINT BEING FYODOR'S DEATH WAS ALWAYS GOING TO HAPPEN.
TL;DR: Fyodor's death was always going to happen. It was inevitable.
He's been likened to Jesus so much throughout this series. He's a messenger of God and God puts him through so much suffering, and so many trials, and he sees it all as a simple test that he'll be sure to overcome. He's so blinded by his faith and his Jesus Complex that he can't see where he goes wrong or where he has failed because he's so sure that he can win and doesn't understand human emotions and underestimates everyone around him therefore leading to his demise and being fooled by Soukoku, who he doesn't understand the bond between because he doesn't look beneath the surface of anything intwined with complex emotions.
An angsty outlook would be that Fyodor may be scared of emotions because he doesn't feel them, and therefore takes the approach of "what you don't know can hurt you" and he's afraid of what he doesn't know, much like Dazai. But hey that's just my brain wanting to be scratched and itched the right way and making all my favourite characters tragic.
ANYWAYS goddamn this was so long-winded to just say that.
I hope everyone has a lovely day/night <3

ummmmm how about 3, 8, & 10 for fyonikonathan, montcott, and/or kunichuuzai (however you want to split the numbers and ships up lol)
also ily <333
fyonikonathan
3. Which one outlives the other, and how they cope
well. on one hand. fyodor. because [redacted]. you know how it is (<- said to everyone except corey). and they react by ignoring all of their feelings of course. on the other hand. nikolai. and he reacts like this and this
8. What they argue about
religion. nikolai being against it entirely ofc but i also just know fyodor and nathaniel are fighting about the nitpicky things like whether you should be dunked under the water forwards or backwards when you're baptized
10. What TV shows they watch together, and which ones they hide from the other
nikolai doesn't hide anything he watches. he's out here handcuffing both fyodor and nathaniel to the couch so they can watch all of riverdale and he is having a GREAT time. fyodor says he doesn't watch tv but does in fact rather enjoy soap operas. he and nathaniel watched the bible miniseries together to see if it was accurate or not and they took a great many precautions to make sure nikolai wouldn't interrupt. nathaniel actually doesn't watch much tv unless nikolai is forcing him to watch something. the three of them watch a lot of trashy reality tv together bc nikolai loves the drama and the other two are handcuffed to the couch again
montcott
3. Which one outlives the other, and how they cope
i think. probably louisa outlives lucy. and she doesn't handle it well. she wants to lock herself in a room and use her ability because that's always what she's done to avoid facing her problems, except that will only make her life stretch on longer, so she stops using her ability at all. louisa's religious beliefs are very,, she doesn't exactly know what she believes but if she does believe in anything, it tells her she isn't going to see lucy again because lucy definitely didn't believe in the same things as louisa so she can live for another million years or she could die right now and it wouldn't make any difference. she hopes there's no afterlife so she doesn't have to deal with missing lucy anymore. she hates what she believes in, but that doesn't make her stop believing it. she's having a very bad time.
8. What they argue about
their big argument before they sort things out is about lucy betraying the guild + louisa just standing by and doing nothing while everyone treated lucy like crap after the ada figured out her ability. once they get past that and rekindle their friendship/relationship, smaller things they argue about are whether or not reading is fun (louisa thinks yes; lucy thinks no) whether sticking pins/needles through the top layer of your skin is a fine thing to do (lucy thinks yes; louisa thinks no), how many stuffed animals is too many (lucy thinks there is no such thing; louisa would like some room on the bed for herself please), and also their differing opinions on fashion (lucy likes fun flashy things and louisa prefers simple outfits)
10. What TV shows they watch together, and which ones they hide from the other
lucy makes louisa watch reality shows that center around fashion/clothes with her (say yes to the dress, america's next top model). lucy also probably has watched keeping up with the kardashians but refuses to admit it. louisa prefers fictional tv shows, usually ones that take place in the real world but have magical elements (the librarians, witches of east end) but she's watched. a lot of different shows. bc growing up, she would use her ability to just read books/watch tv shows and movies to escape reality. she hides the fact that she's seen every episode of shows like riverdale and supernatural and sherlock bc they weren't that good but she enjoyed watching them anyway
kunichuuzai
3. Which one outlives the other, and how they cope
kunikida . i think. dazai and chuuya are going to go together and they're going to leave kunikida behind and he's going to be angry at first because it's easier than being sad. he doesn't cope well. he keeps forgetting they're not coming back this time.
8. What they argue about
whether a diet consisting entirely of canned crab is sustainable (dazai says yes, kuni and chuuya say no), whether or not wine is good (dazai says no, kuni and chuuya say yes), whether or not chuuya's hat ugly (dazai says yes, chuuya says no, kuni refuses to get involved in that one), whether they should get a dog (chuuya says yes just a small one, dazai says no because he doesn't like dogs and they're too much work, kunikida says no because chuuya you are ALLERGIC TO THEM), and also there has to be one big argument about kunikida's ideal partner and is he actually going to stay with chuuya and dazai or is he just wasting time while he waits for the Right Person to come along and he can leave them behind
10. What TV shows they watch together, and which ones they hide from the other
dazai makes the other two watch trashy reality tv and poorly-written dramas. chuuya pretends to hate it but ends up getting the most invested out of all of them. kunikida puts up with it because his partners enjoy it, and he likes seeing their reactions. dazai doesn't hide anything he watches. chuuya probably has one comfort cartoon they watch when they're having a bad day but will absolutely die before admitting as much. kunikida doesn't watch much tv in general, but he does sort of hide that he enjoys watching nature documentaries with kenji. it's not an on-purpose secret; he just never mentions it to dazai and chuuya

BSD Men - Soulmate

「 Fyodor ~ Chuuya ~ Dazai ~ Tetchou ~ Jouno ~ Nikolai 」 - Where the BSD men cast find out that you two are soulmates. Finding out you were destined to be together after being told by some gifted person with the ability to read peoples lives. - Gender neutral reader, there may be spelling errors this is not fully proofread. I'm not sure where this idea came from and I'm not sure what this is suppose to be but nonetheless I hope you enjoy this (Some of this feels out of character but I hope it's still okay) (The picture above of all characters was edited by me - if you use, give credit)
↳ Fyodor Dostoevsky
As a terrorist and someone who is cruel and manipulative, he is also calm in dire situations. So finding out that you two were meant to be together, he didn't mind it. After all, you two knew each other for a while.
You two met when you were on the verge of your very untimely tragic death. He saw potential in you, manipulating his way to convincing you to join him otherwise if you didn't, he would let you die on the ground. You of course accepted the offer.
You two were roaming around the city of Yokohama. Coming across a man that stopped you both, talking about how your lives were going to go, and then letting you both know that you were indeed meant to be together.
,
"You two are also meant to be together, you're soulmates I suppose," The man in front of you both says calmly. Fyodor keeping his composure, "We're not even together but we're meant to be you say?" The man looks at him nodding his head, "That is how it is."
After the very random encounter, you two kept walking around making way to where you two wanted to head to. As you both reach an alleyway, Fyodor stops walking in his tracks and turns to look at you, "If that man is true to his word.. do you want to see if it's really spot on or not?" His eyes go back and forth looking at yours.
Nodding your head accepting his offer, "Sure," You smile softly at him, "Good, then we're official, let's keep going."
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
↳ Chuuya Nakahara
You and Chuuya were already in a relationship. One thing lead to another with you both and here you were with him. When he found out you two were meant to be together, he was completely more than fine with it. He didn't want to lose you as he already lost enough as it is. So this made him really happy deep down but he didn't want to admit it too much.
You were both just finishing a meeting in the port mafia and you two are about to head out, exiting the building. Some guy walks up to you, the man is caught by the both of you and drawn to you as if he needs to tell you something.
He explains how his gift works and briefly explains how your two lives will unfold for a while but leaving out too many details otherwise he's just messing with the future. He lets you both in on one secret though and that would be that you two are destined.
,
"The both of you are soulmates," He whispers loud enough while leaned towards the both of you then taking a step back. Chuuya nods his head as if he wasn't too affected by it. This made you upset so after the man was done speaking to you both. You gave him a little talk. Let's just say he ended up confessing how he felt and that he truly does love you
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
↳ Dazai Osamu
Dazai is a very flirty man, and he was always like that with you enough as it is. You two have had sexual relations with each other. So when he found out you two were destined to be together, it was quite interesting to say the least.
You two were in the cafe that was right below the armed detective agency, with the rest of the group chatting and as usual Dazai makes dumb flirty comments to you, getting a reaction out of Kunikida to make him stop completely bonking the man on the head as usual.
You brushed it off and didn't really care. Once they gather away, a man walked into the cafe ordering something and then while he was waiting he made his way over to your table, the same one where you and Dazai were alone together at.
He can already tell some things about you two. He starts a conversation then telling you both a little bit about himself and about his gift. Then he goes on to inform you both about your lives and what will happen. But leaving anything too crazy and major out, after all he doesn't want to mess with fate. He does let you both in one secret though.
,
"Not suppose to tell you this, but the both of you are meant to be together, you two are soulmates, basically destined, it was fate you met," The man says softly and quietly not trying to draw attention from anyone else. Dazai looks surprised and then looks over at you and smirks, "Well I guess all those times I've 'helped' you really did pay off in more ways than just one, huh?" He nudges you. Your face heats up, followed by a pink tint on it that can be seen.
Of course Dazai would find a way to make you feel flustered or even embarrassed. He always did with his flirtatious comments. That's what you loved about him though. After the man left and you two were alone at the table again, before anyone could come back to interrupt, Dazai lifts his head up and averts his gaze onto you, "So, you want to see if this man's words are really accurate? If you're mine after all, I could help you more," He smirks at you and you blush once more nodding your head, "Sure, I'd love to."
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
↳ Tetchou Suehiro
Tetchou is a very serious well organized person, he hates sadistic beings so he's a very soft individual especially when it comes to you. He can be even seen as over protective over you. You two are already dating, you two started talking and really getting along when you joined the hunting dogs.
So learning about the two of you and your destiny together was quite interesting. He was quite entertained by the idea of it and really wanted to move forward with you.
You two were hunting a criminal that not even the armed detective agency could track down. When you two stumbled upon a man, questioning him if he saw the perpetrator anywhere, a small conversation started and then he broke out saying how you two are destined to be together.
,
Tetchou looked a bit serious at this moment in time but he was quite surprised, hearing the words 'destined to be together' and 'soulmate' all in one sentence threw him off for a moment but he kept his composure, "We're already together. But you have this gift and you're able to tell us that we are.. soulmates?" He questions as the man nods at him, "Interesting."
So you two have a conversation about it while looking for the gifted perpetrator that no one can really seem to track down. He seemed quite happy knowing that you two got together and he was excited deep down inside that you two were going to spend the rest of your lives together.
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
↳ Jouno Saigiku
As some who seems very happy and cheerful a lot of the time even in situations with people he cannot tolerate at all, he seems like he'd be the soft type. He really isn't, maybe for you. But he abhors intense emotions from those around him, so you would think he'd hate the concept of love. He doesn't when it comes down to you though, he doesn't quite show it a lot though. So finding out that you two are soulmates.
You two were off doing your own thing on some break away from all the others, a man randomly approached you both starting a conversation and then explaining his gift and how it works and then asks to try it out on you two. You both let him with Jouno completely on guard in case something would happen but smiling while doing so to throw the man off if he tried anything at all.
He then proceeds to tell you two little small details about what's to come in the future and then loops you two in to a secret about how you two were meant to meet each other and meant to find each other is leading to the both of you ending up together and being happy together. Jouno was already looking very happy but he didn't try showing any emotion about the whole situation at hand.
,
"We are meant to end up together, you say?" His tone is still as cheerful as ever, "Indeed," The man says as you look over at Jouno. Although you both were not together you were upset because it was clear to you that you had feelings for him.
So once the conversation was over you decided to have a little talk with him, "So about what that man said," Jouno draws his attention to you, "He said we were meant to be together, do you wanna.." You stop as you felt yourself growing nervous.
"Yes, we can give dating a shot," He takes your pause as a hint as to what you were going to ask, you smile and felt relieved and happy about what he said, you two continue doing what you were before and went on with your day after talking about that one situation for a while.
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
↳ Nikolai Gogol
This man is very sadistic in nature. But deep down he has a soft spot for you. He may not admit it and may be even distant from time to time but he does treat you with the upmost respect and love with all the compassion he can when he does show anything at all. So finding out that you two are soulmates was something he found interesting, not really understanding it.
You two were doing your own thing. You tend to follow Nikolai around because the things he does never makes sense to you so you just tag along and don't question it. A man by himself piqued your interest and you decided to go up to him. A conversation had started and one thing leading to another, the man going into small details about your life along with Nikolai's.
The man seemed to know enough about who Nikolai was to be a bit distant from him so he made it up to him and you by telling you both a secret, which was that it was fate you two met.
,
"You guys.. are soulmates," He starts off softly, trying to remain calm while Nikolai was around, "You two are meant to be together as in.. dating," You look over at Nikolai who was just smiling and kinda surprised, but also quite confused not really understanding it, "So we're meant to be together?" He says, he keeps his very cheerful attitude but you can hear the cluelessness in his tone, "Yes, correct."
After some time of a conversation with the man, Nikolai is confused by the term soulmate so you briefly explain it the best way you can, "Ohh okay! So this means, me and you can finally date?" He yells out with joy as it makes you jump back and laugh, "Yes, we can."

A bloody goodbye
A/N Hi this is my first time posting on tumblr, I wrote something right after my daily mental breakdown from chapter 109 so I was in the mood to write something sad<3 ALSO MANGA SPOILERS AHEAD
The room felt cold to Chuuya, like he was suddenly embraced by the ghost of a dead friend. Perhaps that really is what happened just now. Four bullet wounds could be seen on his old friend and ex partner's body, two to his shoulders, one to his kidney and a finishing blow to his head.
The same Dazai who just wouldn't die, even after all those suicide attempts was killed by the hands of his dear friend. What a sight, any normal person would think that he'd be happy. He has expressed his disgust and hate for Dazai many times.
"Congratulations Chuuya"
A voice rings in his head, his head filled with questions when he stares at the pistol in his hand. Nothing can compare to the immense guilt and horror he felt. He didn't need to ask, he knew exactly what happened. Dazai's lifeless body laying limp right in front of him, the voice of a Russian man ringing in his head and a horrible ache penetrating his skull.
He hated it, all of it. He was in horrible pain, every inch of his body hurt. But that could never even compare to the pain he inflicted on his ex partner. He wanted to throw up, he wanted to die, he wanted to kill the Russian, so many things were happening in his head he felt it was his only option.
"Granters of dark disgrace.."
As he muttered the words feared by all those who faces him on the battefield, he realized this would be his last time using Corruption. After all, no one can save him anymore.
"You need not wake me again"
Red marks appeared on his arms and his face, as his consciousness once again slipped away. The burning sensation of pure rage fading into pure agony from the form. He screamed in pain, but he could feel the power flowing through his veins.
"Chuuya? What are you doing?! This prison can withstand you abilities, you can't just break out with brute force!"
He could hear the Russian's voice fading, this would be his last kill. He could end a war right then and there, but he didn't do it because he had anyone to protect. He didn't care anymore. A small hint of regret flashed in his eyes before the god within him unleashed itself and everything went dark.
Dostoevksy didn't panic, after all why would he? He had completed his goal, and there was no way Chuuya could get to him. He had taken measurements, although he had not thought about the possibility that Chuuya would use Corruption. It was a terrible idea, and he knew it very well.
He would take his final breath in the prison, by the hands of his bishop. This was the end of the terrorrist Fyodor Dostoevsky. And he was ready, he had many things to say. But he'd get another chance the next time he manifests. And he'd do it all over again.
The door to the control room swings open, and a short male flew in throwing a wild punch at the Russian. In an uncontrollable rage, he tore the man's skin off his bones, he punched the anemics face over and over until it was so dismorphed he didn't look human anymore. It hurt, but he never screamed. He had experienced far worse, he felt his own death draw near as the light slipped from his fingertips. He no longer had a reason to hide his true self. He was no man of god, he was a devil, a demon born in the flesh. There was not an ounce of humanity left in his wretched mind.
He never took a final breath, his lungs were ripped out of his body at the hands of the raging man. His death was not a grand moment, no one could see the look in his eyes as he said his goodbyes to the world. He died in pure agony, by the hands of a man he made his servant.
It had been too long, there was no second chance for Chuuya anymore. He had passed the point of no return. In the brief moment where his consciousness returned to him, he could see a man with long white hair in a braid. The man's face was blurry, but he knew exactly who it was. This man was there to witness both their deaths.
"'Till death do we part, Chuuya"
"What kind of sappy crap are you making up now?"
"Y'know, one day I'm gonna succeed."
"Succeed in what, exactly?"
"I'll finally get to die."
"When that happens I'll open a bottle of my finest wine and drink it with everyone from the Port Mafia by my side."
He never planned on celebrating Dazai's death, that would be far too much for his heart to handle.
What did he feel in his last moments? The man who witnessed his death would know. A beatiful, bloody goodbye to his friend, his enemy and his suffering.

BSD thoughts; Nikolai Gogol's sanity
So, honestly, I think Nikolai IS sane.
take what i say w/ a grain of salt tho; my own views / thoughts are pretty skewed + i have legitimately no understanding of emotional responses/impacts tbh.
ramble below but. spoilers & stuff for the manga
So nikolai tells Atsushi that he is actually sane & understands what he does is wrong.
he's probably not lying actually.
My thoughts are, what if he's USED to his way of acting? sees it as a role he has to fill in order to achieve freedom. Or, sees it as the REASON he needs freedom.
he does the opposite of what everything tells him to do.
It's possible he had previous environments where either a) he grew accustomed to being heartless or b) was completely under someone's control/command.
He shows genuine regret & sadness for Fyodor's death. A normal, completely HUMAN response to losing someone important to him.
someone that's "free" from attachment & feelings wouldn't do that. hell, i doubt I would react that much to a person's death. He realized, in that moment, he WONT be free.
I don't know what would CAUSE him to do all this for freedom, but something definitely caused it. His "insanity" is a mask he puts on to either comfort his victims, or drive people away so he DOESN'T get attached. Fyodor saw through that mask.
He's definitely naturally hyperactive , but the full extents he has + his behavior's a mask.
Nikolai may be mimicking someone, or he may be doing the exact opposite, like his general actions. He may be purposfully making himself Too Different so people won't show sympathy or want to get close.
what better way to keep people from getting attached, than being near-completely unlikable? a complete and udder monster?
back to the start of the ramble; he explains his longing for freedom + how he's actually a completely normal person. He finally let down his mask. But why? if he doesn't want sympathy or anything?
Doubt it'd be manipulation. Honestly, he probably was just bored or wanted to talk about how he really is.
Im bad at keeping secrets about myself, so I'd probably do the same actually.
He probably hoped Atsushi being his enemy would mean he wouldn't feel sympathy for nikolai.
similarly, he lets down his mask to grieve Fyodor IN FRONT of Dazai & Chuuya. Because they're Dazai and Chuuya. they shouldn't give a shit.
considering the way nikolai's murdered people before + how he was w/ atsushi, he's definitely able to keep his mask on while he's internally hating himself.
Wonder if him taking off the eye covering thing is a parallel to that. he takes it off when his mask drops for a bit.
ironically, considering his bond with Fyodor, that lack of sympathy is probably what makes Nikolai get attached to people.
His longing for absolute freedom clashes with his human need for closeness, so he follows people that wont care about him. he'll have someone to be close to, but theoretically no actual attachments.
They won't treat him like a traumatized person (which he probably is) or someone that has to be saved. they wont get attached to HIM. he knows this. which means it SHOULD lessen the blow when either he or they die. theoretically. obviously that didn't work.
anyways if i keep talking it'll just get repetitive so. ye

... Okay time for my honest, unbiased view on the bsd s5 ending.
It wasn't amazing.
A lot of it was! The final circumstance, with Fukuzawa utilising the one order and being burdened with the responsibility, that's incredibly well done. So is the way Fydor died (I made a whole post on how it worked thematically and how it perfectly utilised the strengths and disparate worldviews between Dazai and Fyodor) and the ending with Aya and Bram, and how Bram is utilised by Ranpo makes sense in an interesting way. So, the ending, and the new situation we find ourselves in is amazing, but it just... feels a little shallow.
First of all, Fukuchi. 'The great and powerful unbeatable villain is secretly on the good side/let's himself be defeated' isn't inherently a bad trope, but it needs a bit more time and buildup than we got. I feel like, after some of the best fights in the series with Amenogozen, and how clever and tactical his techniques were, the final fight seemed a little like he'd been written into a corner. It's a good fight ideologically, but we've seen Fukuchi win without his sword before (Tachihara) and it just, falls a little flat that he just gives up that fast.
Same with Dostoyevsky! We never even figure out his ability, and he dies by being stabbed by a vampire and blown up? Thematically sound, but just so anticlimactic. And I can't help but wonder, why didn't Chuuya just manipulate a bullet into the back of his head? It would have been much easier.
In fact, the whole prison break arc is now a little less impressive on a rewatch. When you rewatch the Moby Dick arc, you're constantly struck with 'wow, if that hadn't happened, the whole plot would have fallen apart, the strategy was so intricate and layered'. Now, when you watch the prison arc, you're just like 'oh yeah, Chuuya's on Dazai's side. Dostoyevsky never stood a chance'. Chapter 101 or 109 don't have any long term narrative weight because it isn't a genuine emotional moment of vulnerability, it's a performance.
I still love the proof of the bond between Soukoku, and the fundamental truth, that they'll always rely on each other. But it just cheapens Dazai's moments of vulnerability in this arc.
Also! Sigma! Is completely irrelevant to the plot. Unless this kicks into gear in the new arc (which I think it will), Sigma tells Atsushi the page is with Kamui and that the detective agency is to be assassinated. This has no merit, because Fukuchi reveals he has the page of his own accord, and Ranpo negates the assassination plots. Then he's a valuable character during the prison break, proving Dazai's character growth, and his bond with the detective agency, but he doesn't have any plot weight. He's just there for Dazai to explain things to, an audience self insert. Then he gets stabbed by Fyodor, and trades information for a plot that's been wrapped up already, and he's literally forgotten about. (Unless the information he got was actually relevant to an arc that comes into play after Fyodor's death, in which case I shall eat my words happily.)
I think I was just kind of disappointed. A lot of the ending just had no gravity. Everyone is alive, the strategy implemented at the beginning worked, and the villains are defeated by theatre tricks, or because they wanted to die.
I just feel like the story lost scale a little bit. I made another post actually praising BSD's use of scale, how it keeps threats small, contained and personal, but the latest arc stretched too large, without any significant loss.
I really don't want to come across like I thought that the series was bad or anything. The character moments were great, and there were some masterfully wrapped up themes and morals, and I loved the ideological fight between Fukuzawa and Fukuchi and also Dostoyevsky and Dazai. I just... feel like the ending almost corrupts the greater story.
(Of course if anyone thinks otherwise, I'd love to hear from you! Healthy discourse is always a joy!)

I really am hoping this was an anime only ending. It just makes no sense to me. It's as if they didn't want Dazai to die so they came up with something randomly to make him live. I hate how they always make him two steps ahead of everyone somehow. Where'd all the blood come from if Dazai wasn't really shot anyway? Also, Chuuya pretending to be a vampire was definitely something they thought of at the last second.
It better be anime only.
I’m having so so much faith in Asagiri right now. So much trust in Asagiri. There’s no way the same guy who wrote the rest of this manga decided to make his own work meaningless by making an entire arc irrelevant.
If Dazai knew everything all along, then his struggle against Fyodor never happened and we can’t explore any moments of vulnerability that no longer exist. If Chuuya was never a vampire we can’t explore the themes of humanity and autonomy.
Asagiri was the one who gave us those moments and themes in the first place. I’m gonna believe that he wouldn’t burn his own work to the ground like this.
#Anti dazai asks#im making it sound like I hate the episode but I really truly liked the parts with Fukuchi#Fukuchi character development 10/10#Love it love where that plot point went#Everything else though#Better be different in the manga#Bsd#bungou stray dogs

Fyodor's way of communication and the planning of meursault arc
In order to understand all the subtilities of the arc we are currently facing, I reread all of fyodor's interactions with other characters in order to get how his way of thinking functions. Well... I'm not a psychologist and don't know much about religion either so I still don't really get his philosophy, but after analysing how he handled several situation I at least got a hold of how he works as a strategy.
Fyodor as a strategist
He uses how people think, not to get them to do what he wants - like it's done by dazai or Mori- , but by placing others in a situation where they do it by their own will... as it is the best way for them to act.
We saw that with how he got rid of ace. First, he got caught willingly. Then, he made ace think that his ability was to plug his oponent in an illusion from where he could never escape. The logical solution to this situation would be to commit suicide according to ace's logic, which Fyodor had saw through. And just like that ace committed suicide.
Sigma is another example. He needed sigma to choose the wrong information to pick in his head, so he needed him to focus on something else. What did he have at disposition? His true nature, that he knew sigma initially intended to know because of Nikolai. With ace it was a lie that got him to his goal, but there, he didn't even need to lie for his plan to work. A single memo as a trigger sufficed. Sigma, also stressed by the gunshots, the thing with the knife and the menace of fyodor's ability, would then decide it's more important to pierce the enemy's secrets.
Just like he placed sigma and ace in situations where their better options are what Fyodor wanted them to do, I think he placed nikolai in situations where his freedom was compromised so that he wouldn't stick to the part of the plan where he needs to die for real.
The birth of meursault arc
He knows nikolai better than anyone else, nikolai himself says it. There's no way he didn't think he wouldn't follow the plan till the end. "But if he knew, why didn't he take any precaution to keep that from happening?" you'll ask. Because that causes no harm to his plan. Quite the contrary actually, he can even use it as he is doing now to get rid of dazai with the nikolai game... Which is his sole goal in the current situation, since escaping can't possibly count as a goal since he placed himself in this situation willingly, and knowing dazai would get there too.
Since he doesn't want to escape, then why choose chuuya as a partner/pon in the nikolai game? Literally a third of the world is vampirised, and there surely are ability users stronger than chuuya... So why did he choose someone who might turn as an enemy in the middle of the battle? Why take that enormous risk?
That's where his strategy pattern interveens. By choosing chuuya, he places dazai in a situation where he would want to get him back. To prove their bond to a man that considers everyone as pons and sinners. To prove that the bond his humanity depends on isn't shallow.
The planning
I said in a prior theory that they were both placing pons right from the start of the game until chap 109. But if the above is true, it means Fyodor was placing pons all along, his start being way before what we expected.
I thought he got to know dazai's way of thinking from their talk in the prison and then used his comunication way to tell fukuchi to send chuuya specifically to the prison, but what if he did that before even getting in prison?
It would all make sense, all the bsd canon events right from the start. He used the guild and the canibalism arcs to get the page and know his enemies. He was pulling the strings the whole time : Moby Dick's fall, Q being used by the guild, the canibalism... But everytime, someone countered his plans. And this someone is dazai.
Nemesis
Up til canibalism, he was discovering his oponents and getting what he needed to make Fukuchi's plan a reality... Until his direct confrontation with dazai and their little talk about human foolishness in the dark allyway where dazai let himself get shot.
I think that's how his curiosity started.
That's also when he felt that he needed to get rid of him, therefore needed to know him better, and then changed his approach. It becomes more direct, more provocative, he let dazai know he is the one pulling the strings. And with how dazai reacts, he already was aware of his functioning ways, beliefs and habits from the precedent battles. With cannibalism, he learns how far dazai is willing to go to counter him, and that's why he was surprised when getting caught in the cafe. He wasn't surprised of being caught, he was surprised of dazai relying on Francis, a former enemy, when he ran out of options.
And honestly, what was the point to participate in the battle of dead apple since he wouldn't get anything out of it...? Well.. He did get something actually. He got knowledge on the ennemy he'll have to face for the doa to succeed.
He didn't have to wait for the discussion in the prison to get how dazai treasures his relationships and function in a more general way, he knew all along and that was merely the last adjustments. Just like the prison talk happened because he wanted to know more about the differences in their viewpoint on humanity, that is the only thing that makes them different as persons and as strategists.
Now I'm getting to my point...
That's because of all I explained above that I think he doesn't have a direct way to interact with his allies. He already had all he needed to know when got caught to elaborate his plan and get the situation to how it is right now! He doesn't even need to reach out to Fukuchi!
He could very well had told fukuchi the entire plan before getting in prison.
Even his way of communicating in the canibalism arc (the radio recommendations) could have been to get dazai into thinking that is his usual way of operating. And then suggest he actually had an alike way of communicating in prison by saying 'finding the others way of communicating' simultaneously to dazai. He knew dazai would think he had one just like himself, and that Fyodor would try to understand his, but it was just to lure him and comfort him in his thoughts.
Oh and, everyone agree that Fyodor always planned things in the long run, right?
Anyway thx for reading and good luck to cope with the new chap x)

{--Tbh people who try to make Mori look worse than he is for their SKK angst are the worst actually not to mention missing out.
"Oh Mori is definitely abusing Dazai and Chuuya and like what if they just killed Mori and then they could be free from him--" Shut up. There is literally not a single piece of content anywhere that suggests Mori and Chuuya don't have a great working relationship.
"Oh but Chuuya doesn't get a choice, Mori is his Boss--" literally what is stopping Chuuya from just using his big bad Gravity powers from blowing Mori up if he actually wanted to? What was stopping Chuuya from killing him or letting him die during the Cannibalism arc? We all remember Chuuya's first response to Mori's life being compromised by Fyodor was to rally the entire organization to wage war on the Agency to save Mori's life right?
Kouyou didn't even want to attack the Agency and Chuuya went "Fuck that, we're going and I'm leading the charge" because he values Mori's life. Idk what version of BSD some of you people read/watched but it wasn't the same one that I did.--}
#ooc#The Muse#{--sorry I just have#MMMMMMMM /opinions/ about how the fandom treats Mori#while also making Chuuya seem like an incompetent weakling who can't think for himself#and makes shit up to make Mori the worst POS ever#Yes he absolutely does awful shit we can point to#like abuse Yosano for her Ability which very much was a thing#but lets point to that instead of making up total BS#I really like Mori and Chuuya's professional relationship tbh#and how much respect and trust both of them have for each other as Boss and second-in-command#Chuuya would definitely NOT follow Mori if he didn't believe in him as a leader fr--}#Took An Oath By The Blood Of My Hand Won’t Break It || Mori

OK so like spoilers for the new episode but also technically not but spoiler warning anyway

The anime is DEFINITELY an alternate universe now. Like they're clearly writing this arc to END the series, but we know in the manga we at least have another arc left (the British, which has been foreshadowed since both Fyodor and Fitzgerald were revealed).
But now I'm terrified for the next chapter, because everyone's fates are still up in the air but we also could have some hints from the anime about how the future of the manga is going to go.
At the very least, because Alternate universes are canon to bsd whatever gets revealed later on in the manga could also have been canon to the anime (such as Fyodor's ability or any backstories we get in the future).
Also, I honestly want the manga to be a bit more tragic in certain aspects. Don't get me wrong I don't want any of the main cast to die, but I wanted more consequences like Dazai to come out of that genuinely injured (not just a sprained leg), or for SOME kind of impact to soukoku's partnership. Maybe I just feel like that because these events were big for the fandom and I want them to be big for the character's too. Hell even in a non-shipping way I just want it to be shown that Dazai is impacted by the events of this arc.
(Ngl the fake vampire thing was cool and really clever but I ALSO want Chuuya to actually have been infected in the manga. Which I think is the route that's going to happen because the way Chuuya's eyes change as a vampire in the manga can't really be written off as contacts that easily)
The Fyolai ending was perfect though, toxic doomed yaoi to the fullest, beautifully tragic. Nikolai you did wonderful and sorry for your loss.
The anime still has more episodes left to wrap up their original ending (probably 2), and however that ends will cement what happens for the character's in that universe, and we'll just have to see how much changes and stays the same for the characters in the manga universe.
ALSO WHERE IS JOUNO AND WHAT DID SIGMA FIND OUT??
in the anime they cut out the line 'I have to tell the agency' after he found out the information, so a core difference between what happens with the anime and manga could be whatever Sigma learned.
I also feel like the next chapter could show us where the difference in the story starts, unless Asagiri really does just show us the original panels for whatever he was showing the anime producers.
Another two weeks of waiting boys, but maybe in two weeks we'll find out how close the anime was to the manga.
Omy wait I also just realised that the anime is clearly going to end with Atsushi and Akutagawa fighting Fukuchi again. Every arc and every universe has Atsushi and Akutagawa fighting together, side by side at the end. That's beautiful man.
Kind of still wish the 'Akutagawa isn't dead' reveal didn't happen in the timeskip teaser though but whatever, maybe we'll get the reveal as it happens with the manga.

Helllooo Everybody, it's Sugar, here to give you your first taste of the sweet sweet goss that's been spreading around the Ark like wildfire. Only a week in and we already have so many fun stories to share with you!
A new clinic has opened in Sanctus, though I wouldn't be going there for any treatment if I were you, the doctor there seems to give out more than just medicine if a certain blonde, ginger, and ravenette have anything to say by it.
Speaking of the doctor, the "ever-loyal" assistant of his must need to adjust their glasses, it seems we've got wandering eyes…
On the topic of wandering eyes, despite claiming to be committed to his troupe, a certain acrobat seems to be leaping at the chance to sleep with-- well, anything that moves! I mean, a few messages and you're obsessed really? Talk about a clown! 😛 Those are the kind of red flags you can see from miles away, though, I suppose desperation and deflecting go hand in hand. Isn't that right, Aesop? Are you missing someone right now?
Up next on the chopping block, we have Sinclair, who somehow managed to get plastered off of a single bottle of wine and spill his guts to the entire group chat! And not in the way the game was intended to be played. Why don't you tell us, since you're so eager to share; Who's Heathcliff? Lots of people are taking the Ark's mission of repopulating very seriously! It's good to see so much commitment to the cause, but Fyodor-- I didn't realise fish was on that menu! The more you know!
Aether is caught between a rock and a hard place, that being the doctor and the hard-headed wanderer- when are we going to find out more about just what's going on with those two? You seem to be acting friendly with both, and yet, they can't even stand to be in a chat together. What I'd give to be a fly on the wall in the same room as you three!
Chuuya already seems to be making enemies, and alliances, but mostly enemies! We spied the seemingly patient Pongorma annoyed with the ginger within a few minutes of meeting him-- Is Pongorma not so tolerant as he'd like people to believe with his righteous knight act, or is Chuuya just that good at pushing people's buttons?
And has anyone heard back from that mafi-- err. I meannn, hmm…! That battered-up blondie? Last we spotted him, he was in pretty bad shape. He hasn't spoken up despite everyone agreeing to report all hostile life on the Ark in the group chat in some sense of comradery. The last place we spotted him wasn't pretty. Can you organics die of sickness on the Ark? Well, I sure hope not!
That's everything we've got to tell you about today! We do hope this has given you a little insight into your fellow Ark residents, and remember to be kind to one another. Unless you want to end up here! But that won't keep you safe either 😛
Sugar, signing off!
